Welcome to our web site
We
do not have news letters; we have what we call Monthly Messages.
It is simply a poem that the Lord had so graciously given me, and
my comment on that particular poem.
February 2024 Monthly Message
LESSON FROM THE BEATITUDES . . .
We must cast off pride, for humility,
For Heav’n to be ours, for eternity.
We must really mourn, for all sin we do,
Or we won’t receive comfort, pure and true.
A meek, quiet spirit, is of great price,
To God in Heav’n, it’s never a vice.
The meek one day will inherit the Earth,
So, meekness unto us, is of much worth.
If we hunger and thirst, for righteousness,
God will see we are filled; God will bless.
If we long to be just and good inside,
As our dear Saviour; we’ll be satisfied.
If we no mercy to our brothers show,
No mercy from our God, to us, will flow.
Our heart within us must be true and pure,
Or we’ll never see God; and that is sure.
We must not squabble, one with another,
Try to be at peace, with all our brothers.
Blissful Heav’n awaits all children of God,
That kingdom will be ours, for e’er to trod.
We’re truly blessed, when they persecute,
Any of God’s own, whom Christ did depute.
If they revile, or speak evil falsely,
We should rejoice, and be very happy!
These things of which Christ spoke; are hard to do,
But with the love of our Lord, they’ll ensue.
Trust and obey; always give Him first place,
And my friend, one day, you shall see His Face.

(Mt.5:3-12; 1 P.3:4; Ro.12:18)THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD THE FATHER, WHO IS IN HEAVEN!!!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) . . . If you want to go where the Father is, you must go through Jesus! Are you allowing the LORD to guide you to the bliss of Heaven? If not, WHY not? Scriptures for above poem: Heb.3:12; Mat.26:41; Ps.119:1-8; Jam.1:12; Gal.5:17; Ps.103:17; Heb.7:25; John 14:2-3; 1 Pet.1:3-5; John 3:15-16; Ps.138:8. God loves you. Trust Him to help you! He will!
The Beatitudes
Mat. 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. . . . what is poverty of spirit? It is the opposite being arrogant, proud, self-assertive and self-sufficient. It is opposite of someone always looking for those around them to admire and praise them. It is the opposite of someone who refuses to bow before God. It is being humble and meek, like Jesus.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. . . . Mourn?? For what? YOUR SIN! The first Beatitude must be applied to your heart and life first, or you will NOT, you can NOT mourn for your sin. They shall be comforted . . . when we mourn for our senseless, inexcusable failures, and we confess them to God . . . we are comforted by the fact that the precious Blood of Jesus, God’s only begotten Son, cleanses us from all our sin. God hates sin, and when we mourn for our sin, we agree with God that it is wrong.
Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. . . . Being humble is being meek. Gentleness is also associated with meekness and being mild mannered. Being humble represents the condition of the heart.
Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. . . . we ALL are sinners. We have NO righteousness of our own
SO. . . since we have NO righteousness of our own, we must get it from Jesus IF we are to be blessed/approved by God.
Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. . . . Are you merciful?
Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. . . . Purity lays aside malice, a filthy mouth, unforgiveness, lies, blasphemy, pride and hypocrisy.
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. . . . If the peace-makers are blessed, then it is woe to the peace-breakers!
Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. . . . (1) People will hate us when we take a stand for Jesus. (2) People will separate you from their company, whether from their church or heir society. (3) People will criticize you. (4) People will cast out your name as evil. Are we better than Jesus? Jesus clearly tells us to be happy when it happens. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
