Welcome to our web site
We
do not have news letters; we have what we call Monthly Messages.
It is simply a poem that the Lord had so graciously given me, and
my comment on that particular poem.
April 2025 Monthly Message
FOR ME!
Under a dark, looming Eastern sky,
A humble Man, stumbled forth to die.
In the midst of a crowd, shouting with glee,
This Man went forth, to die for me!
A crown of thorns pierced His precious Head,
His Blood reveal’d, ev’ry step He tread.
He bore that cross in pure agony,
As this Man went forth, to die for me!
They drove nails, into His Hands and Feet,
After many hours, that they scourged and beat.
Naked He hung in complete humility,
This Man consented to die for me!
On that awful cross, my sins He did bear,
A burden He asked, no one to share!
All this He did, out of love so free,
This awesome Man . . . He died for me!
Because of this Man; great blessings are mine,
Peace, joy, comfort, grace, and strength divine!
But, best of all, life eternally,
For Christ Jesus gave, His Life for me!
For me! For me! this awesome Man died!
For me! For me! He was crucified!
For me! His death was pure victory!
For it gives me Heaven eternally!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) . . . If you want to go where the Father is, you must go through Jesus!
This poem is very special to me. As a rule, I have rarely repeated poems in the Messages, but I will bring this one again. I used this poem in the April 2000 message, and in 2007, and now again in 2025.
WHY DID JESUS HAVE TO DIE?
The death of Christ Jesus was foretold in the Old Testament, many years before He died (Isa. 53:8; Dan.9:26; Zech. 13:7). So, just WHY did He have to die? When I first became a Christian, this was one of my biggest questions.
Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (KJV) God said, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” NO one was saved because he was doing the best he could, or because he was honest, or because he was a good person. They were not to run out of the house during the night and look at the blood; but were to have confidence and faith in it. The death angel did his job that night in Egypt. If there was no blood on the door posts, the first born was killed, just as God promised Pharaoh. God said, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” When the death angel saw the blood, he passed that house and all its occupants, just as God had promised. Nothing needed to be added. Who was saved that night? Only those who BELIEVED God. Only those who had struck the blood on their door posts and trusted in it. I believe what God says. He states that the shed Blood of Christ will save me . . . nothing or NO one else will. God said that when he saw the blood on the door posts, he would pass over that home. The blood was not some imaginary or superstitious sign. In today’s world, it is still the shed Blood of Christ that saves us, that and that alone. If you have believed God and accepted Christ as your Saviour and Lord, you are safe and secure like those in the homes of the Israelites that night. BUT, IF you willingly and willfully choose to reject Christ and His work on the cross, you will be like the houses of the Egyptians that night so long ago. God will NOT pass over you when the death angel comes.
When God the Father looks down from His Home in Heaven, and sees one of His TRUE children (John 1:12-13; 3:3), He does NOT see us and our horrid sins; He sees the precious Blood of His beloved Son. He will NEVER turn His Back on that Blood! God CANNOT shut His eyes to sin and do nothing about it. God’s law is unyielding and inflexible . . . “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Eze.18:4). The death sentence is on all of us, because we all have sinned (Rom.3:23; 5:12). But God is gracious, and an innocent life may be substituted for the guilty. Until Christ came, it was a lamb. Then it was Jesus . . . “…the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). If we receive Christ, we are saved from the judgment that we deserve as sinners.
The Blood of Christ is the ONLY thing that can wash our away sin. There is NOTHING offensive about the Blood; the offense is in our sin.
Words of Wisdom
Where will you spend eternity? Heaven? or Hell?
Do you accept Jesus and His work on the cross?
If not, accept Him today. Tomorrow may be too late.
Accept Jesus = Heaven! Reject Jesus = Hell!
