Welcome to our web site

We do not have news letters; we have what we call Monthly Messages. It is simply a poem that the Lord had so graciously given me, and my comment on that particular poem.

January 2019 Monthly Message

I FALL SHORT

Help me to be, who you want me to be,
For I fall short, and do displease thee.
Let your Spirit guide, as I wake each morn,
In days of quiet, or troubling storms.

My faults are many, and oft’ I do sin,
I pray for strength, this great battle to win.
It seems I keep trying, to go astray,
May I submit completely, to you this day.

So very often Lord, You I do fail,
I want to do well, but Satan prevails.
Lord, let me resist him, that he may flee,
I know submission to You is the ‘key’.

Lord, on my own, I am utterly weak,
I have no power, and You I must seek.
On Your Holy Spirit, I must depend,
You, O Lord, I do not want to offend.

I want to please You, help me obey,
Let me love and serve You, ev’ry day.
Let me love with actions, not just words,
Grant love, mercy and kindness, like my Lord.

1 Cor. 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. (KJV)
1 John 1:9-10 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10  If we say that we have not sinned,
we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (KJV)

This was the January 1998 Monthly Message, which maybe some of us should consider.
I have revised it by adding Scriptures.

As we begin yet another new year, perhaps we should examine ourselves according to God’s standards. Do you “fall far short” as I do? We as His children do displease Him when we go astray. 1 Peter 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. (KJV) . . . We were like stray sheep, in the wilderness of ignorance and sin, until Christ, the true and merciful Shepherd, found us and called us back from our wanderings, by sending us the Gospel of His grace. Thank You Jesus!

We ALL sin, and we ALL at times “fall short” of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV) We as God’s children, are blessed FAR above those who do not know Jesus! We have the Holy Spirit abiding within us, and once we have Him, He is there “for ever.John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (KJV)  2 John 1:2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. (KJV) Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV)   . . . The Holy Spirit’s job is to lead, guide and direct us, to teach and comfort us, and so much more!

As we enter another new year, let us consider that there may well be some rough roads ahead. The Bible tells is that without God, we can do “nothing,” but WITH Him, we can do ALL things! John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (KJV)  Philp. 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV) . . . So . . . why don’t we trust the Lord and allow His Blessed Spirit to help us through those hard times!

IF we are wise, we will learn to allow the Holy Spirit to do His job, each and every day. Our lives would be so much easier, and we would not displease God. God’s power, through His Holy Spirit, is available to ALL believers, NOT just a selected few. But the question is: do YOU let the Holy Spirit lead and direct you in your daily life? This tremendous power of God is there for you and me. What a shame we do not take advantage of it as we should!
Life is a “gift” FROM God. How we live it is our “gift” TO God!

Words of Wisdom

The hallmark of a genuine Christian is that he does what-soever the Lord asks of him.
The marks of God’s children are love, obedience and truth.
If I really trust Him, Shall I ever fret?
If I really do expect Him, Can I e’er forget?
If by faith I really see Him, Shall I doubt His aid?
If I really, really love Him, Can I be afraid?
When God shuts a door, He opens a window. (1 Cor.10:13).
Interruptions are divine instructions.
Knowing the LIVING WORD, is the key to understanding the written WORD.
The worst can happen, but the best remains.

February 2019 Monthly Message

Lord Jesus, I Love You!

Lord Jesus, I love You, so very much,
Because my very soul, Your love did touch!
My heart did change, from what it used to be,
When Your Presence came in, I became a new me!

Wondrous peace I feel, way down deep within,
T’was ne’er there before, until You stepped in!
Your peace, this evil world, will never know,
Nor will it e’er feel, the warmth of its glow!

Never before, was I ever content,
‘Till the Holy Spirit came, Whom You sent!
No more confusion, and no more worry,
Contentment instead, You have given me!

Pardon, You remember my sins no more,
And Your Promise of my home, on Heav’ns’ shore!
My inheritance in Heav’n, is in my name,
Where I will never, ever feel Hell’s flame!

Feeling Your grace, is an amazing thing,
Such lovingkindness, to my life You bring!
Your incredible grace, I do not deserve,
All Your grand blessings, I want to preserve!

Lord, Your wondrous Spirit, blesses me so,
Always with me, where ever I go!
You will never ever, take Him away,
Once You give Your Spirit, He’s there to stay!

Dear Lord, I love You more than anything,
For into my life, such blessings You bring!
More than anyone, I love You Lord,
For You are, God’s Only begotten Son!

Heb.8:12; 10:17; 13:5; 1 Pet.1:4; Jn.3:16; 14:1-3, 16; Eph.2:8-9; 3 Jn.1:3.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
Chapter 13 of First Corinthians is rightly called the love chapter of the Bible. Many have tried to explain it, but it is so deep and profound, it is very difficult to do.

In the King James Version of the Bible, the apostle Paul uses the word charity throughout this chapter, instead of love. Personally, I really prefer the word  LOVE. The Latin translation, and Wycliffe's English translation used the word charity, and this word was carried over into the King James Version. The Greek word is agape, which is properly translated love.

There is NO definition of love in this chapter. Sometimes definitions are harmful. I think that to try to define or explain love would seriously spoil this chapter. Can anyone really define a rose? You can read the description of a rose that botanists’ give, but that definition simply CANNOT give me a picture of a rose, as I know a rose to be. What about a sunset? Can anyone really describe a sunset for you? I believe that Chapter 13 gives to us a DISPLAY of love, NOT a definition.

There are three words in the Greek language which are all translated by our one word love. The first is the word eros. That is the word for passion, the word used for lust. It is used of Aphrodite and Eros, or Venus and Cupid as we more commonly know them. Sex would be our word for it today. This word does NOT occur in the New Testament.

The second is the word phileo, which means "affection." We find that root in our words Philadelphia and philanthropist. It boils down to brotherly love and love of family and friends. It means human love at its highest, it is a noble love.

The third word agapao, is the highest word for love in the New Testament and means "divine love." It is more than love in words, it is deep, sincere heartfelt feelings; it is love in the will. It is love that chooses its object. In reality, LOVE is a definition of God, for God is love.
1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (KJV)
1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. (KJV)
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (KJV) . . . TRUE love is this: not that we loved God, BUT that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. ‘Propitiation’ means atonement. When Jesus died a sacrificial death on the Cross, (for us), it was accepted in full by God.
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. (KJV) . . . Our love for Him comes as a result of His loving us first. From where does ALL love originate? From our Awesome Triune GOD! Yet any and all our love that we show, whether to God or mankind, is a response to God loving us first! No one can demonstrate love better than God, and He has already proven this by sending His own Son to save us from eternal damnation (Mat.25:41, 46; John 3:18, 36; 8:24; 2 Thes.1:8-9; Rev.20:15).  Have you thanked Jesus today, for all He has done for you!

Words of wisdom
True love always helps those who have nothing to give in return.
If we do not hate evil, we cannot love God.
The world loves quick success; God loves long-term faithfulness.
Life’ darkest path can never dim the light of God’s love.
True love demands nor expects nothing in return.

Lurking in the Shadows

Our worst enemy lurks in the shadows,
And e’er so subtly, he conveys his blows.
He wants us to think, what he offers is right,
But dear one, his deals are dark as the night!

Disrespectful is Satan, to our God,
We must be careful, as our path we trod.
He hates the Father, and Jesus His Son,
And he hates all, the obedient ones.

This Wicked One, is arrogant and proud,
And with great power, Satan is endowed.
We must beware, not to fall under his spell,
For we do not want, to end up in Hell.

Deceit is a tool, that Satan does use,
And the Truth of God’s Word, he does abuse.
He transforms himself, to an angel of light,
When all the while, he is dark as the night.

As a roaring lion, Satan does walk,
And with such blasphemous words, he does talk,
We must put on the whole armor of God,
If we are to overcome, as we trod.

Submit to God, and the devil repel,
For he tries so hard, to send us to Hell.
If we stand firm, Jesus will give us pow’r,
Trust Him always, day or night, any hour!

Gen.3:1; Job 1:6, 9; Lk.8:29; 9:39, 42; 2 Cor.11:3; Eph.2:2; 6:12; 1 Tim.3:6; 1 Pet.5:8; 1 Jn.2:13,

Words of wisdom
Strict obedience to GOD is the only way to true blessing.
The marks of God’s children are love, obedience, and truth.
Faith and obedience are tied together in the same bundle.

There are two great powers on this Earth: #1. God.  #2. Satan. These two powers are trying to control your soul. We all are born a sinner. We inherit the desire to sin, and we do it from a very early age.
Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (KJV)
Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. (KJV)
Isaiah 48:8 Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb. (KJV) . . .  We are the devil’s children (Jn .8:44; 1 Jn.3:10), UNTIL we turn to Christ by faith, and accept Him as our Saviour and Lord.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (KJV) . . . The LORD Jesus plainly tells us we can have ONLY ONE master. We live in a materialistic society, and MANY people serve the idol of money. This is choosing the devil as your master, for there are only two . . . the other being GOD. People spend all their lives stockpiling money and possessions, only to die and leave it behind. Their desire for money and what it can do for them comes before God and spiritual matters.
Matthew 6:20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: (KJV) . . . Whatever it is that you store up, you will spend much of your time and energy thinking about. Don’t fall into the worldly trap, because "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Tim. 6:10). Can you honestly say that God . . . NOT money, is your master?Ask yourself: "Which one occupies more of my thoughts, time, and efforts?"

How Satan Works

#1. He seduces by pleasure. 1 John 2:16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (KJV)  2 Tim. 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, (KJV) 2 Cor. 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (KJV) 1 Pet. 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (KJV)
#2. He quotes Scriptures to lead astray.  Matthew 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. (KJV)
#3. He afflicts the body. 2 Cor. 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, (KJV)
#4. He tempts by pride. 1 Tim. 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. (KJV)
#5. He plucks away the seed of the Word. Mark 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. (KJV)
#6. He tempts by impure thoughts. 1 Cor. 7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. (KJV)
#7. He hinders through circumstances. 1 Thes. 2:18  Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us. (KJV)
#8. He severely buffets in a crises. Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: (KJV)
#9. He tempts to hypocrisy and lying. Acts 5:3  But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? (KJV)
#10. He desperately tries to make us deny Christ’s virgin birth, OR His death and resurrection, OR His ascension to Heaven, OR His power, OR His love for us, OR His forgiveness of our sins, OR His Second Coming. . . . BEWARE!!! The devil will NEVER stop until GOD puts him in the lake of fire [HELL], where he and his children belong! (1 Jn.3:10; Rev.20:10).

Amazing Love of Christ

Love urged Jesus, to leave Heaven’s safety,
To come to Earth, to pay sin’s penalty.
I can’t comprehend, Jesus’ kind of love,
Care, concern, compassion, just from above!

In Gethsemane, love made Jesus pray,
Let this cup pass, if there’s another way!
But there was no other way, He had to die,
He did not back down, He did not e’vn try!

Love made Jesus endure, His horrid fate,
Violent torture, Christ did tolerate!
Severe whipping, made His bones to be bare,
The Bible says: they look on me and stare!

Love allowed Jesus, not one word to say,
In His defense, on that horrible day!
He was delivered, because of envy,
His own people, refused to set Him free.

The Jews demanded, He be crucified,
Because of His blasphemy, He must die!
They stripped Him, and put on Him a scarlet robe,
And a crown of thorns, on Him they bestow’d.

In love to us, He went up to Calv’ry,
To pay our sin debt, and set our soul free.
Such amazing love, I can’t comprehend,
Deep, heart-felt love, He could never pretend!

The love of Christ, I cannot comprehend,
The Almighty Creator, calls me friend!
I am not worthy, to put on His shoe,
Yet this Majestic God, loves me and you!

Some things to consider

Here are some of the unlawfulness of the Jewish trials. #1. A man could never be arrested at night for a capital crime. Jesus' arrest took place between 1 and 2 o'clock at night. #2. No arrest for a capital crime could be made upon information given by a follower or colleague of the accused. The entire plot revolved around Judas, one of Jesus’ followers. #3. No Jewish trial could be held at night. Both trials before Annas and Caiaphas, were held in darkness. #4. After hearing the testimony of witnesses in a capital crime, they could not immediately act and judge. They were to go home and remain alone and separate from one another for two days. They did not do that. They Jewish court never left the presence of Caiaphas! #5. Their vote was supposed to be taken from the youngest to the oldest so that the youngest wouldn't be intimidated or influenced by the older votes. This never happened.

Barabbas was a notorious criminal, he was a murderer, he was an insurrectionist, he was guilty of sedition and he was bound in prison awaiting death by crucifixion. It was a capital crime he had committed. He was the one guilty of treason, not Jesus. So, Pilate thought that if he were to put Barabbas next to Jesus, and offered to release one of them, the Jews would say, "Don't release Barabbus! Release Jesus!" But it backfired upon him. They said they wanted Jesus crucified (Matthew 27:19-23)!
So they gathered a band of soldiers, stripped Him and put on a scarlet robe on Him, placed a crown of thorns on His Head, and a reed in His Right Hand, mocked Him by bowing down and saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” They hit Him on His Head, spit on him, and led him away to be crucified. (Matthew 27:26-31).
Summary
You and I deserve that spit. We deserve the nails in His Feet and Hands. It was OUR sin that He bore, NOT His. It was OUR place He took on the cross. We should have been there NOT Him! We are the guilty ones, we are like sheep gone astray, turned everyone to our own ways. We are the rebels. OUR iniquity has separated us from God, NOT His. The message behind all of this is because of Jesus’ amazing love, He died for us! He did it for us. He became sin for us, so we would not have to pay sin’s penalty . . . eternity in Hell!  John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Words of wisdom
The good news is not that Christ lived and died, but that He died and lives!
The greatest riches we can ever have, are the riches we have in Christ.
Christ’s birth brought God to man; Christ’s death brings man to God.

May 2019 Monthly Message

  THE VAST REALM OF ETERNITY

Consider the life that is to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Do you think, of what the future holds?
Will you e’er walk, on that street of gold?

The river . . . clear and pure, did you know?
The water of life, from God’s Throne flows.
In the midst of the street, on each side,
Is the tree of life, that God provides.

No more curse, shall e’er again be found,
Just blessings from the Lord, will abound.
We shall at last see, His precious Face,
And first hand feel, His amazing grace.

There shall never be, any more night,
Just the brilliance, of our Saviour’s Light.
No sun or moon, will this City need,
Glory from God and the Lamb, shall proceed.

No more death, sorrow, crying or pain,
From all these things, we shall abstain.
Nothing that defiles, shall enter in,
Gone will be, all wickedness and sin.

Consider now, the other life to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Most will go in, thru’ Hell’s one lone gate,
The Lake of Fire, is the sinner’s fate.

No exit doors, just smoke and darkness,
Here, God’s Glory is gone; He won’t bless.
God’s wondrous Presence, you won’t e’er see,
You’ll be bann’d for e’er, from His mercy.

Agonizing screams, will never cease,
Christ is not there, so you’ll have no peace.
All the wonder of Heav’n, you’ll never see,
Just non-stop suff’ring, eternally.

Only TWO roads, to eternity,
One leads to bliss, the other . . . agony.
Your future in your own hands, you hold,
Eternal suff’ring . . . OR the street of gold.

Heaven: Rev. 21 & 22; 20:11-15, 2 Thes.1:9-10; Mat.7:13-14; John 14:27. Hell: Mat.5:22; 5:29-30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15; Mat. 23:33; Mark 9:43; 9:45; 9:47; Luke 12:5; Jam. 3:6

This was the January 2011 Monthly Message. I think it needs to be brought again, that people might stop and THINK about the vast realm of eternity!

It simply amazes me that the vast majority of people in the world NEVER consider eternity. They NEVER think about what happens AFTER death!

The Bible clearly tells us our spirits and souls are eternal! Eccles. 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. (KJV)

Believers in Christ go immediately into God’s Presence. 2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (KJV)
Unbelievers are sent to Hades (present day Hell), to await judgment (Luke 16:22-23; Rev.20:11-15).

The Bible clearly tells us that NO unbeliever will ever enter Heaven (Rev.21:8,27; 22:15). God will NOT make a mistake.

If your name is not in the Book of Life, you shall be sent to the Lake of Fire, which is Hell (Rev.20:15). 2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: [9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV)

I believe God! I believe His Holy Word, every bit of it. It is my prayer that you consider eternity, and if you do not know Christ as your Saviour and Lord, that you open your heart’s door to Him now (Rev.3:20). And if you do know Him, but have back-slid, please turn back to Him NOW!

There are three great truths: the Fatherhood of God, the Lordship of Christ, and the true blessing of the Christian believer. I pray that you enter each new day with these great truths in mind. Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. (KJV)
PLEASE do NOT call God a "liar"! IF you do, you will regret it, for ETERNITY!

Words of Wisdom
It is NEVER too soon to invest in eternity.
Upon a life I did not live, upon a death I did not die,
Another’s life, Another’s death, on this I stake eternity!
Sin’s debt was paid in full by CHRIST, completely paid, every jot, Sinner, this is all you need! Tell me, tell me, is it not?

DEATH IS THE LAST CHAPTER OF TIME ON EARTH; BUT ONLY THE FIRST CHAPTER IN ETERNITY!

Talking the Talk

There are multitudes, who talk the talk,
But so very few, who walk the walk.
So many, their love for Christ profess,
But in their hearts, Christ, they do not possess.

“I’m a Christian,” many people say,
Yet they live in sin, ev’ry single day.
They talk the talk, without hesitation,
But don’t walk the walk, to salvation.

Walking the walk, is not easy to do,
And it is only done, by a few.
But ev’n the faithful, sometimes backslide,
So we must stay close, and in Him abide.

Many hypocrites, in the world today,
They say they love God, but never obey.
They walk on roads, where they should not go,
As they speed downward, to Hell’s sorrow.

Do you walk the walk, or just talk the talk?
Do you obey the Lord, or do you balk?
Just talking the talk, will get you to Hell,
And there for e’er, in agony dwell.

We must walk the walk, and the Lord obey,
Heav’n cannot be reached, by any other way.
Trust and obey, believe God’s Word so clear,
If you want His eternal Presence, near.

Signs of hypocrites: (Mat.23:1-33; Mk. 7:1-20; Mk. 12:38-40; Lk.11:39-52)  Beware: (Mk. 8:15)
Rev.21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV)
Rev.21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV)

The 23rd Chapter of Matthew, denounces and condemns the Scribes and Pharisees in their moral inconsistency. The LORD Jesus calls these false ones “hypocrites” 8 times in this Chapter, because they do NOT walk the walk nor talk the talk in a rightful manner.

Jesus is in the Temple, and in the presence of the opponents with whom He had been arguing, but here He now addresses Himself to the apostles and the multitude. The change of His lecture is accompanied by a change in His subject. He had exhausted His hypocritical foes' power of proof and argument, He now proceeds to deal with them as hopeless reprobates by portraying to the multitude their true character, and by heaping upon them the sentences of condemnation which were justly their due. Matthew Chapter 23 is quite a chapter, and it has a message for us as well, as does ALL the Holy Word of God.

Just because a person PROFESSES to be a "Christian," or PROFESSES to trust the Lord, or PROFESSES to make a "commitment" to the Lord . . . does NOT mean they are sincere. IF a person does not POSSESS Christ in their heart . . . and only God knows that Truth . . . they are a HYPOCRITE! (Matthew 23). Jesus pronounces '14' WOES on hypocrites in Chapter 23 of Matthew. Please do NOT be a hypocrite.

IF you are talking the talk, but are not walking the walk . . . you are in trouble with Almighty God! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

If you ignore, disregard or pay NO attention to God, you are in big trouble with Him! Have you ever considered how God is deeply saddened when we ignore and/or disrespect Him? God truly loves His children, and it breaks His Heart when we pay no attention to Him? Consider how He must feel when the guidelines for our lives contained in His Book are ignored by us. We must be extra careful not to ignore God, because He might ignore us when we go to Him in prayer. We certainly do not want that!
Psalm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: (KJV)
Isaiah 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. (KJV)
Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (KJV)
Wouldn’t it be so much better for us to say: Psalm 63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. (KJV) He is a fool who ignores God. . . . You either believe the Bible or you don't.

Words of wisdom
You’re headed in the right direction if you are walking with Christ.
To keep fit spiritually, we must “walk” with Jesus every day.
Self-examination is one test from which no Christian is excused.
Don’t talk, unless you can improve the silence.

You can please GOD, only when your walk matches your talk!

LIFE’S STRUGGLES

As we live for Christ, many forces we face,
To survive but a moment, we need God’s grace!
Life is a struggle, and desperate indeed,
To the counseling of God, we must heed!

Filth is rampant, in movies and T.V.,
Social upheaval o’erflows, you must agree!
The “real world” is a superficial facade,
God clearly states, it is destin’d to fade.

Satan tries all Truth, to twist and distort,
On God’s wisdom and pow’r, we must resort!
Our eyes and minds, Satan strives to deceive,
We must be on guard, that we don’t believe!

Life is a struggle; a constant warfare,
But Jesus our burden, will gladly share!
When worries and troubles, greatly annoy,
Wisdom and pow’r from Christ, we must employ!

The armor of God, is a precious aid,
When we wear it, we need not be afraid!
When the “day of evil” comes, we’ll stand our ground,
Because wisdom and pow’r, in Christ is found!

Truth, righteousness, and the Gospel of peace,
When we put on Christ, these blessings increase!
Salvation is your helmet, God’s Word your sword,
Hold steady your shield, which is faith in the Lord!

Without ceasing, God’s children should always pray,
To change our darkness to bright shining day!
Resist the devil; Christ will make him flee,
Life’s struggles will give way, to victory!

When we try to live for Christ, the devil will put MANY obstacles in our path! He tempts us with pleasure, he afflicts the body, he tempts by pride, he tempts us with impure thoughts, he hinders us in anything good we try to do, he severely pounds at us in any crises, he tempts us to blasphemy, lies and hypocrisy, and he desperately tries to make us turn our backs on the Truth about Christ by sending his children to bring us false hoods and lies. BEWARE!!! We do have a most powerful enemy, so we need all the help that the Lord can give us. We CANNOT do it alone!  John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (KJV) . . . BUT . . . with Him, we can do all things!  Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV) . . .

When Paul says all things, what does he mean? It means whatever Christ has for you to do, He will supply the power. Whatever job He gives you, He will empower and equip you to do it! I am proof of this. When He called me to teach His Word, all those many years ago, He certainly did equip me. My earthly education was next to nil! Whatever job He gives you, He will give the power and ability to do it.  Through Christ which strengtheneth me . . . CHRIST is the One who will strengthen you and enable you to do everything that is in His will for you to do. Let me stress the point: you must be in God's will, and His will is made known to us by a knowledge of His Book, and a close walk with Jesus.                     Some helpful Scriptures follow.

Ephesians 6:11-18 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (KJV)

1 Thes. 5:16-23 Rejoice evermore. 17  Pray without ceasing. 18  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19  Quench not the Spirit. 20  Despise not prophesyings. 21  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22  Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(KJV)

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (KJV)

Ten Incredible Lessons TRUE Christian should Learn:
1. How to be content under all circumstances (Phil.4:11)
2. How to be abased (Phil.4:12)
3. How to abound (Phil.4:12)
4. In all places (Phil.4:12)
5. In all things (Phil.4:12)
6. To be full (Phil.4:12)
7. To be hungry (Phil.4:12)
8. To abound (Phil.4:12)
9. To suffer need (Phil.4:12)
10. Nothing is impossible through Jesus Christ (Phil.4:13; Mat.17:20; Mk.9:23; 11:22-24; Jn.14:12-15; 15:7,16).

We must "put on Christ" each day that we live.

Hell’s Gate

Hell’s gate will open, for millions who are good,
For the Truth of God, is misunderstood.
Glory Land can be accessed, just one Way,
Don’t pass by Jesus, don’t be led astray.

It makes no difference, how good you have been,
If you don’t know Jesus, your life is sin.
There’s only One Way, to get to Heaven,
Believe God, trust Jesus, access is given.

The Kingdom of God, is what we must seek,
As we cast out pride, and instead be meek.
We must seek, the righteousness of the Lord,
And believe all that He says, in His Word.

You don’t want Hell’s gate, to open for you,
So you must be, to the Lord Jesus true.
For He and He alone, holds Heaven’s key,
To a blissful life, in eternity.

Hell is yours, if Jesus you disobey,
Christ paid our sin debt, He paved the way.
With Him, we must walk the road of light,
For Hell is as dark, as the blackest night.

Without faith in Christ, we cannot please God,
Any other way, is the devil’s fraud.
Jesus is the Light, the Truth and the Way,
Love Him, thank Him, praise Him, each time you pray.

Heaven’s gates will open, when you trust the Lord,
Being good in God’s eyes, is found in His Word.
Believe God, accept Christ, and Him obey,
To get to Heaven there’s NO other way!

No matter how poor a person is, no matter if they are crippled, weak or uneducated, belief in what Jesus did on the cross is the only way to Heaven. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD THE FATHER, WHO IS IN HEAVEN!!!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Psalm 9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. (KJV) . . . Being rightous is not what you or I think, it is what GOD thinks! He is the One who decides what is right, and if you don't think so, you are wrong! The only way to be righteous in God’s Eyes, is to accept His One and Only Plan of Salvation, JESUS! That is just the way it is. God makes the rules for this Uuniverse, and He is the Boss.   Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. (KJV) . . . ALL people are sinners, and without the righteousness of Christ (1 Cor.1:30), the gate of Hell will open wide for you, no matter how good a life you lived on Earth!
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (KJV) . . .  Our sins can only be washed in the precious Blood of Jesus (1 Pet.1:18-19), in the Eyes of Almighty God!
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (KJV)  . . . Only the precious Blood of Jesus (1 Pet.1:18-19) can make us clean in God’s Eyes!
Jeremiah 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10  I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (KJV) . . . The heart is so deceitful. God does not want our old, dirty, devious heart. He wants to give us a new heart, and only He can do that, through His Son! Jesus is a heart specialist; He is the Great Physician (Mat.9:12).
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV) . . .  From the presence of the Lord . . . to me, this would be the worst part of Hell! All those without Christ will be placed where they will NEVER, ever be in the Presence of the Lord. For ever removed from the goodness of God, in which the happiness of the glorified saints lies. Judgment Day for those who have rejected Jesus will be horrendous, and their verdict will be WORSE, no matter how morally good they were in this life! Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (KJV)  . . . Only the blood of Jesus Christ his Son can cleanse us from our sin! We ALL have sinned, no matter how good you think you are! Without Jesus, you are filthy in God’s eyes!
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (KJV)  . . . While I was still the devil’s child, I did not realize the power of this verse. But when I finally came to my senses and opened my heart’s door to Jesus, it became SO clear! What wisdom! What a Friend we have in Jesus! These words mean nothing to an unbeliever! They are foolishness to him (1 Cor.1:18). But, UNLESS we seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; God’s blessings and provisions do NOT apply to us, no matter how good a life we have lived. When we do seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; ALL these things (our needs) shall be added unto us. Every word in this wonderful verse should be carefully weighed.

THANK YOU JESUS, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

A CRITICAL JUNCTION

There’s an important junction, most pass by,
A junction the Bible, does specify.
The majority stay on, the broad road,
And shall end up, in the devil’s abode.

At this junction, there is a small, lone path,
And all those who take it, escape God’s wrath.
Just a “few” walk it, God’s Word tells us clear,
But they walk with Jesus, always so near.

Those who walk the broad road, keep on in sin,
They listen to Satan, they cannot win.
They walk with the devil, and not our Lord,
There’s no desire to know, what’s in God’s Word.

Fools these are, who think not of eternity,
They must never consider, Hell’s agony.
Only the wise, believe God’s Word so true,
I wonder, does this small group, include you?

Each person at this junction, will one day stand,
The decision you make, lies in your hand.
There are just two roads, to eternity,
One to Heav’n’s bliss, one to Hell’s misery.

Are you at this critical junction, this day?
Will you go with Christ, or be Satan’s prey?
This most important choice, lies in your hand,
The wide road to Hell, the small one to Heav’n Land!

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV) Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)

MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES IN LIFE

Matthew 4:1-11 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. (KJV)

Satan knew EXACTLY Who Jesus was! This temptation appealed to His present hunger, and the impulse of the moment, as many of our temptations do. The tempter was so successful with his temptation about the matter of “eating” with the first Adam (1 Cor. 15:45), that he tried the same method with the second Adam. Satan hoped to succeed, because Christ was very hungry; and because he had won with our first parents, by tempting them to eat of the forbidden fruit.

There are many ways the devil will try to get us to turn away from God: #1. Seduce by pleasure (1 Tim. 5:11-15). #2. Quote Scriptures to lead astray (Mat.4:6). #3. Afflict the body (2 Cor. 12:7). #4. Tempt by pride (1 Tim. 3:6). #5. Pluck away the seed of the Word (Mark 4:15). #6. Tempt by impure thoughts (1 Cor. 7:5). #7. Hinder through circumstances (1 Thes.2:18). #8. Severely buffet in a crises (Luke 22:31). #9. Tempt to hypocrisy and lying ( Acts 5:3). #10. He tries to make us deny Christ’s virgin birth, or His death and resurrection, or His ascension to Heaven, or His power, or His love for us, or His forgiveness of our sins, or His Second Coming. BEWARE!!!

Making the right choices in life is extremely important. We do not choose whether to come into the world or not; that is God's choice. We did not choose to be born. God did not ask us where we wanted to be born, or if we wanted to be born, or when we wanted to be born. So . . . our coming into the world and being alive was not our choice. But, our being in this world, we DO have choices to make. There is NO such thing as one size fits all to making good decisions in life. Thankfully the Lord will help us, if we wait patiently and do as His Word instructs us. Each of us, at some time in our life shall stand at the ‘Critical Junction’Will we stay on the broad road with the devil? OR will we go through the strait and narrow gate that leads to the small, lone path with Jesus? (Mat.7:14). NO one can make this decision for us. It is the most important decision you will ever make in your entire life! Be very careful, for your decision decides where you will spend eternity! In Heaven with Jesus? Or in Hell with the devil?

GOD VS SIN

Almighty God in Heaven, will not bless,
When all the world lieth, in wickedness.
Sins must be forsaken, and cast away,
If you want to live, in Heaven one day.

Our Almighty God, wants us to obey,
Wants us to stay on His road, and not stray.
But sin corrupts, the vast majority,
And the old devil smiles, so joyfully.

Are you walking, on the devil’s broad path?
The longer you stay, the hotter God’s wrath.
He has a place, all ready and waiting,
Where the fires of Hell, ne’er cease from burning.

Ev’ry day I feel, my duty I shirk,
For nothing that I say, e’er seems to work.
The soul is eternal, why can’t they see?
Those fires in Hell, shall burn eternally!

If you practice sin, do you think you’ll see,
That blissful shore of Heav’n, and Christ’s glory?
His awesome majesty, you’ll see indeed,
As Almighty Judge, if you don’t pay heed.

In God’s Book of Life, your name has to be,
Or you’ll be condemned, to Hell’s agony.
Your soul lives for e’er, you must understand,
Jesus has control, you are in his Hand!

Your sin is not so great, as is His grace,
All your awful sins, Jesus can erase!
If you would just accept Jesus this day,
You shall one day see, Heaven’s glorious display.

Paths of sin: (Ps.81:12; Pro.6:12; Acts 14:16; Rom.7:13; Eph.2:2; 4:17; Phil.3:18; Col.3:7; 1 Pet.4:3; 2 Pet.2:10; 3:3; 1 Jn.1:6; Jude 1:16,18) Paths, righteous: (Ps.16:11; 23:3; 25:10; 119:35; Pro.2:9,19; 3:17; 4:11,18; 8:20; 12:28; Isa.2:3; 26:7; Jer.6:16; 31:21; Mat.7:14; Heb.12:13).

Can Halloween ever be Holy?
Absolutely NOT!

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (KJV)

Where will this woeful apostasy in America lead? The answer is clear! To our own destruction as a nation. There is NO way Halloween will ever be ‘holy’ in the eyes of God!
There are those who say Halloween creates treasured childhood memories for your children. And stores heartily agree. They sell guides to fun and supposed guilt-free ideas on everything from costumes and decorating ideas to party suggestions.

Dear one, the Holy Word of God clearly CONDEMNS witchcraft as a sin! 1 Sam. 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. (KJV)

Millions say that Halloween is a time of innocent fun for kids.  Choosing a fun costume, going to neighbors' houses for candy . . . what harm is there in that they ask. But recently, Halloween has become a controversy among many Christians.  Many  parents today do NOT see it as the devil’s holiday with evil origins, and let their kids go out trick-or-treating.  Halloween was ALWAYS an issue with TRUE Bible-believing, Christ-honoring Christians!  Because of the godless Harry Potter series, interest in witchcraft and the occult has increased globally.  Yes! Halloween may have very well been intensified by the evils of Harry Potter's witchcraft, but the Truth is, Halloween was of the devil from its beginning.

Many people think Halloween is a harmless holiday that ushers in the fall and provides children with a great reason for either collecting candy or playing a trick on someone. BUT . . . Halloween is a very serious event in the lives of those who practice witchcraft. When asked about Halloween started, many in the church would say something about All Saints' Day, but they could not explain the traditions associated with the October 31st date. Halloween is known as "The Festival of the Dead" among the believers of witchcraft. This festival marked the change from life to death . . . a changing of the guard from the warmth of the sun in the spring and summer to the cold of the moon in the fall and winter. Christians should realize that Halloween is NOT the innocent holiday that many, even Christians, believe it to be. We, as Christians, must properly see the spirit of Halloween and respond to it in a way that would honor our God. Is Halloween really harmless fun? My friend, the devil candy coats Halloween! The so-called harmless holiday of Halloween is a diabolical evil, a horrible evil that is directly connected to the occult, witchcraft and Satanism. Christian parents . . . you need to be warned of this evil! BEWARE!!!! IF you sow witchcraft; you shall reap the lake of fire! Listen to the Lord!!! NOT to the world!!! Listening to or compromising with the world will only lead to eternal disaster!!!

We all have so much to be grateful for in this life . . . each and every day. But there are times when we are aggravated with the ever present fears, doubts, struggles, temptations, troubles and worries which makes the devil really happy, for he never stops trying to make us turn away from the Lord. We must never forget that in the midst of business and pressures, to pause and give thanks for all that God has done for us, and continues to do, day after day in our lives. Please do not give more room to defeat than to a heart full of gratitude!

There are times when things so trouble us that we do not think of offering a sacrifice of praise (Heb.13:15). We may not feel like it, we are weary from struggling, and maybe we think that God has let us down. The sly devil wants us to think that God is far away, and that He really does not care about what is troubling us. That is not so! The Lord does care about us, very much. He loves us.

We have a choice, every day, to thank Him. And when we have a heart of thanksgiving, we realize that no matter what we face, God does not only work to change our situations and help us through our problems, He does so much more. He changes our hearts. His power, through our heart of gratitude releases the control our life’s struggles have over us. We are empowered by His peace and refueled by His grace. God's Word reminds us of how powerful and vital a thankful heart can be in this world.

7 Things the Power of a Grateful Heart Can Do:

(1). It takes our eyes off ourselves, and makes us focus on God.
(2). It tells us that we serve a Mighty God, and keeps us humble and depending on Him.
(3). It makes us to realize that we have much to be thankful for. It takes our attention off our problems and helps us to remember, the goodness of His many blessings.
(4). It tells us that God is the Giver of all good gifts. A grateful heart tells us that God is our Provider and that all blessings and gifts are graciously given to us by His loving Hand.
(5). It tells us there is no room for us to complain. It is absolutely impossible to be truly thankful and still be filled with lack of faith and ungratefulness at the same time.
(6). It makes the enemy flee. Satan’s forces of darkness cannot stand to be around hearts that give thanks and honor to Jesus. Our praise and thanksgiving will make these enemies flee.
(7). It opens up the door for continuous blessings, because it invites His awesome Presence. Our spirits are refreshed and renewed in Christ Jesus. God loves to give good gifts to His children. It delights and pleasures Him when our thankfulness pours out as we give honor and the sacrifice of praise to Him.

Psalm 95:2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. (KJV)
Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (KJV)
Psalm 73:24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (KJV)
Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (KJV)

December 2019 Monthly Message

Do YOU Know Jesus?

It’s not what you do, or how much you know,
That keep you from the lake of fire, below.
It is WHO you know, and what you believe,
That the gates of Heave’n open, and you receive.

No matter what work, or how much you do,
The gates of Heav’n, will not open for you.
The desired work, has already been done,
By Christ Jesus, God’s only begotten Son!

E’vn if the good you do, outweighs the bad,
Entrance into Heav’n, is not iron clad.
It is what you believe, and WHO you know,
If you want to avoid, Hell’s gate below!

Eternal live in Heav’n, is a Gift from God,
Available to all, the world abroad.
Just by God’s grace, can this Gift we attain,
Believe this by faith, and Heav’n’s bliss we gain!

The true children of God, are blessed indeed,
When we love God, we’re wise if we pay heed.
To not believe God, calls Him a liar,
And you will end up, in the lake of fire.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Why do I bring this poem as our Message for this particular time of the year? Mainly because I believe this poem is suitable for any time of the year. Do YOU Know Jesus?
Do you really KNOW Him? Do you know that only He, and He alone has the power and authority to open your ‘mansion’s door’; in Heaven for you? (Jn.14:2-3; 1 Pet.1:3-5).

John 6:40  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)  . . . Jesus clearly tells us God's will as revealed in the Gospel. We must be made acquainted with it, or we are in trouble. In today’s world, we do not literally seeth the Son, but for us to see the Son, means that we BELIEVE in Him. Today we SEE Jesus with our heart. We have to BELIEVE What and Who He was/is, the Son of God, the Messiah and Saviour of the world! That has NOT changed from the time Jesus spoke the above words. Those people back then, and us today as well, must have faith that Jesus IS Who He says He is, and that He can and will do what He says He will do! Only a few (Mat.7:13-14) believed then . . . and that too has not changed in today's world! Jesus says that we must SEE Him for Who He is, and believe on Him so that He can save us! To really SEE Him and BELIEVE on Him is the only way we can honestly KNOW Him!

People are by nature blind, they shut their eyes to all that is spiritually good. Only the Holy Spirit can open blind eyes, and illuminate their understanding. Only when we then can see, in His light, our sin, our lack of righteousness, our lost state and condition, can we ever SEE Christ in His beauty, glory and Excellency . . . and His ability and willingness to save us, and see the fullness of His grace. Only through Jesus can we ever have righteousness, peace, pardon, cleansing, wisdom, strength, grace, eternal life, and salvation from Hell. IF we decide to reject Jesus, we reject all the goodness of God the Father! BEWARE!!!

A multitude of the Jews had seen Him, but very FEW believed on Him. John 6:41-42  The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. 42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? (KJV) . . . the Jews were prone to the sin of murmuring, complaining either through resentment, or anger of what they heard or had seen done, mocking and scoffing at His parentage and descent from Heaven. What utter boldness this "Nobody" had, they thought. They immediately asked, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph?" They thought they knew His father and His mother, but He is NOT the literal son of the man, Joseph. He (Jesus) DID come down from Heaven. Millions today still think Jesus is a "Nobody." One day they shall find out that He indeed IS a SOMEBODY when they stand in utter horror before the great Judge Jesus! (Rev.Jn.3:36; 5:22, 27; 17:2; 20:11-15). The Jews had the Scriptures! They KNEW Christ (Messiah) was coming! (Isa.7:14; 9:6).

Do YOU believe and KNOW Jesus #1. That He was born of a virgin? #2. That He is the only One that can keep you from Hell? #3. That He is the Son of God, and is Himself GOD! #4. That He left Heaven’s comfort and safety to pay YOUR (and my) sin’s penalty by death on the cross? #5. That no one loves you as He does? #6. That Jesus is the ONLY One Who can save us? #7. That He is the ONLY Way to Heaven? (Jn.14:6).

Do YOU really KNOW Jesus?
