TROUBLES WILL COME
Over and over, troubles arise,
The secret to this, is look to the skies.
Our help cometh each time from the Lord,
There is great comfort, from His Holy Word.
Satan is all smiles, when you worry,
Submit to God, and the devil will flee.
Temptations come, the Lord does permit,
But strength to endure, comes from His Spirit.
As an angel of light, Satan appears,
But the Holy Spirit is always near.
Over and over, He comes to our aid,
His Presence abides, so don’t be afraid.
Much greater is He who is in you,
Than the world’s devil, so untrue.
When we trust the Spirit, and don’t quench His pow’r,
He’ll help in a heart-beat, at any hour.
With each temptation, trouble and woe,
Great comfort and strength, o’er comes our sorrow.
Fellowship with Christ must be secure,
If troubles in life, we are to endure.
When into your life, doubt starts to creep,
Be sure that Jesus, will safely keep.
Doubt will always eat your faith away,
Don’t give in to Satan, on any day.
Between you and Christ, Satan tries to step in,
Gently he will urge you, into sin.
Take hold of His Hand, as Christ you follow,
He truly will help you, in your sorrow.

Words of Wisdom
Trust God, 24/7, He will never let you down!
ANOTHER NEW YEAR
As you stand at the doorway of the new year, do you have any doubts about Jesus? Do you have fear and worry? Words of great comfort can come from the Lord. All you need to do is open the Bible, and comfort can be yours!
James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (KJV)
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (KJV)
James 1:13-14 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (KJV)
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (KJV)
Psalm 121:1-8 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. (KJV)
BEWARE!!! . . . 2 Cor.11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (KJV)
Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (KJV)
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV)
1 Cor.3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (KJV) . . . Help is only a prayer away!
1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (KJV) . . . The Holy Spirit is much greater than the old devil! The Holy Spirit is given to ALL who believe God (1 Jn.5:10-13), and accept what Jesus did for us on the cross! He paid sin's penalty for us. Believe it!
1 Thes. 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. (KJV) . . . Let Him work in your life!
God speaks to us when we are wise and open His Book! He gives us comfort and strength. His compassionate love, mercy and forgiveness, are there for us when we humble ourselves before Him. God is faithful, trustworthy, gentle and strong, and tries to keep His children from wrong. As the new year looms before us; what will it bring? Only God knows the answer. We simply must trust Him in all things. If you don’t know Christ, you can start the year out right. Christ really loves you, and He wants to claim your soul. Accept Him today, believe on His Name!

Privileges of God’s children: Forgiveness (Col.1:12-14); Rest for your soul (Mat.11:28-30); Spiritual knowledge (Pro.1:7; 9:10); Eternal life (Jn.6:51; 10:9); Holy Spirit (Jn.14:16-17; 1 Cor.3:16; 12:13; Rom.8:9); Fellowship (Rev.3:20; Jn.17:3); Peace (Phil.4:7; Col.3:15); Needs supplied (Phil.4:19); Power (Col.1:11-12); Love (Eph.3:19; 1 Thes.3:12); Joy (Ps.16:11; Jn.15:11); Contentment (1 Tim.6:6,8; Heb.13:5); Comfort (Mat.5:4; Jn.14:1; Rom.8:28; 1 Thes.4:13; 2 Thes.2:16); Patience, gentleness, goodness, faith (Gal.5:22); Meekness, self-control (Gal.2:23).
This is just the tip of the iceberg! God has SO many blessings for His TRUE children. Are YOU one of God's children?
Words of Wisdom
Only Jesus can teach your heart to smile and your soul to sing, and only then will find joy in everything, everywhere!
A TRUE, genuine Christian does whatsoever the Lord asks of him, just like our precious Saviour and Lord, Christ Jesus did. . . . John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. (KJV)
What an incredibly, remarkable God we as TRUE Christians serve. What more could any of us ever ask of this amazing God! He came to Earth as Man, knowing full well what was in store for Him. He did NOT have to leave the beauty and safety of Heaven . . . He could have said NO! I am not going. I'll stay here in the security I am entitled to. But . . . He came to Earth die on the cross for me . . . and YOU!
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (KJV)
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (KJV)
Rom. 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
May I ask you a question? Can you honestly comprehend the love of Jesus? I cannot! Think about it! He was VERY safe in Heaven . . . His Home! His Father asked Him to come to Earth (on our behalf), to be our Substitute to die on that horrendous cross. Jesus KNEW beyond any doubt what was expected of Him. He knew exactly what would transpire and when! He knew He would be horribly tortured even BEFORE He went to the cross, by the Romans and the Jews (His own people, Jn.1:11).
I simply cannot comprehend the love of Jesus. It is too deep, too wide and too high for me to grasp. His amazing love consists of care, concern and compassion for His follow man. We are called to be conformed to the image of his Son (Rom.8:29). Personally, I know I cannot love the way that Jesus loved us. But we are to grow spiritually, day by day. We can do this only through continual prayer (1 Thes.5:17), and by trusting the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and direct us. We must never quench His leading (1 Thes.5:19). Only when we receive our new bodies (1 Cor.15:53-54), will we ever be perfect, as our dear Jesus is perfect! Until then, we must strive to trust and obey Him daily as we grow spiritually. Have you thanked Jesus for being such an awesome God? If not, why not?

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
THE CROWN AND CROSS WERE HIS
They borrowed a manger, to use as a bed,
For the precious Babe Jesus, to lay His Head!
They borrowed a colt, for Christ Jesus to ride,
A colt on which no one, had e’er been astride!
Christ borrowed bread, high on the mountain side,
That the crowd’s hunger, might be satisfied!
He borrowed two little fish, from a young lad,
In all the people there, ‘twas all to be had.
Jesus borrowed a boat, in which He sat and taught,
For the great multitude, His vast wisdom sought!
He borrowed a friend’s house, that He might rest,
They lovingly obliged, to this most special Guest!
They borrowed a room, the Last Supper to eat,
An Upper Room, that was high up off the street.
From a very rich man, they borrowed a grave,
Jesus’ sepulcher was a small, lonely cave.
The crown of thorns they crushed, on His precious Head,
Was not a borrowed crown, but His own instead!
The crown of thorns He wore, was His very own,
That dreadful, horrendous crown; was His alone.
The cross that He carried, so very painfully,
Is the cross where He died, in great agony.
That old rugged cross He bore, was His very own,
The cross where He bled and died, was His alone.

This is my husband’s second favorite poem; his first being “I See Jesus Everywhere.” All people can relate or identify with Jesus, including the poorest of the poor. Our Lord was indeed poor when He walked the Earth as Man. He didn’t even have a place to lay His precious Head (Mat.8:20). His first cradle was that of lowest esteem; a borrowed manger (Luke 2:7). When He made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, He rode a borrowed
colt (Luke 19:30). Christ also borrowed two little fishes from a boy to feed the hungry crowd following Him (Mat.14:19). Jesus borrowed a boat (ship) in which He sat and taught the crowd of people (Mat.13:2). When He was tired and hungry, He often borrowed His friends’ home (John 12:1-2). He borrowed an upper room in which He and His apostles ate the Last Supper (Luke 22:12). Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb (Mat.27:57-60).
But, the crown of thorns was not borrowed! That was His very own (Mat.27:29). And the cross where He suffered and bled and died . . . for you and me . . . was not borrowed either! That cross too was His very own (John19:17)! We truly must recognize just what our Saviour and Lord has done for us! He loves us more than we can ever know! John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (KJV) AMAZING LOVE!!! I don’t know about you, but I simply cannot comprehend the love of Jesus!
Words of Wisdom
God the Righteous Judge declared us “guilty” and then paid our penalty!
He came to pay a debt He didn’t owe, Because we had a debt we couldn’t pay.
The Good News is not that Christ lived and died, but that He died and lives!
Jesus was born to die, so that we could be born to live!
Christ was lifted up on that cross, that we might be lifted out of our sin.
Jesus took my place on the cross, to give me a place in Heaven.
Christ’s empty tomb should fill us full of hope.
To believe in Heaven and not Hell, is like saying all is good and there is no evil.
We will not be defeated by anything, if we depend on Christ for everything.
Faith is the ability to see God in the dark.
There are no dark days when you live in the Light of Jesus.
Millions of people have tons of religion; but not an ounce of salvation!
To those who are spiritually blind; Christ does not exist.
To those who are spiritually deaf; Christ does not speak.
To those who will not seek Him, Christ will not be found.
Living for Jesus, is absolutely the best reason for living!
To stay on course, use the Bible as a compass.
Knowing the Living Word, is the key to understanding the Written Word.
Jesus is the Answer! What is your question?
This “Message” was also the March 2002 “Message.”
Since this is one of my husband’s favorite poems, and he requested it for this month,
I was glad to retrieve it. May it touch your heart as it does Paul.

JESUS IN YOUR HEART
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (KJV) . . . Your heart’s door has only one doorknob and it is on the inside! YOU must open your heart’s door or you leave Him out in the cold! He will NOT force Himself on you! OPEN the door my friend! Great and wonderful things will take place in your life.
When the goodness of Jesus, comes into your heart,
The bad and evil things, quickly start to depart!
Christ Jesus came in, when I opened my heart’s door,
He releases grand blessings, that He holds in store!
Awesome blessings come your way, when He resides,
Great Godly gifts are yours, when Jesus presides.
He will help you cast out, all immoral things,
For He gives vic’try, o’er all that Satan brings.
When you allow Christ Jesus, into your heart,
Backbiting, blasphemy, cursing, will depart!
Just kind, loving and tender words, you will speak,
And your attitude, will be humble and meek!
When Jesus comes into your heart, bad things flee,
Envy, greed, hatred, strife, will be far from thee!
Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, will take place,
For the Spirit of Christ, helps us run our race!
He gives the newly made you, a brand new start!
The amazing peace and comfort, He gives you,
With each new wonderful day, will continue!
Christ Jesus cannot come, into your life and heart,
Open your heart’s door, that His blessings may start.
Exceptional good things, He brings continually,
And when we depart this Earth, life eternally!

Words of Wisdom
Looking back ...... Thank Him!
Looking ahead ......Trust Him!
Looking around ...... Serve Him!
Looking up ...... Expect Him!
Describing a Heart For God
A Desire to Know Him . . . A true heart for God has a deep and earnest desire to know Him. This does NOT mean simply learning facts about Him, but rather a yearning to have a deeper, more personal relationship with Him.
A Desire to Obey Him . . . The night before His horrendous crucifixion, Jesus told His disciples: John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. (KJV) . . . My friends, a genuine and sincere love for Christ ALWAYS results in obedience. IF you are not obeying Christ, you are not a TRUE Christian! A TRUE believer, should always fully surrender to His will in every aspect of your life.
A Desire to Share Him . . . If you are really devoted to Jesus, you will want to tell others about Him, so they can experience the great blessings you have because of Him! Jesus did NOT call followers to be closet Christians! A TRUE Christian does not stay hiding in a closet or stay sitting on a fence, trying to make up their mind. His command:
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (KJV)
God Wants Every Person to Hear the Gospel
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
1 Tim. 2:3-5 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (KJV)
The Lord wants everyone to know the Truth.
That is why He so patiently continues to call people to Him so none should perish. My friend, because Jesus paid our sin debt on that horrendous cross, we have been given a lifelong obligation, to spread the Good News, the Gospel of Jesus Christ . . . unto the uttermost part of the earth! Although God, the Holy Spirit is the only One who can open a person’s heart to the Gospel, it is our job is to tell them.
The Person of Jesus Christ . . . Jesus is the One who offered His life as a substitute payment for our sins. By His divine authority, Jesus has commanded us to tell others about His offer of forgiveness. Mat. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (KJV)
Our mission is to bring the Gospel to an unbelieving world. Not all of us are preachers, not all of us are teachers, but ALL of us can tell of Jesus and what He means to us! Do NOT be ashamed of Jesus (Lk.9:26).

HIS ARMS ARE AROUND ME
His Arms are around me, I have no fear,
No matter where I go, He’s always near.
Although trials and troubles, may come and go,
His Presence is a blessing. This I know.
His Arms are around me, worries are gone,
I am no longer, the old devil’s pawn.
With His Presence near, my troubles subside,
The Holy Spirit within, does reside.
His Arms are around me, in day or night.
He lifted me up, from an awful plight.
The many temptations, simply persist,
But knowing He’s close, helps me to resist.
His Arms are around me, I’m truly blest,
He ne’er strays from me, what e’er the test.
Walking that narrow road, is hard to do,
I’ll keep on, for one day, I’ll be with You.
His Arms are around me, I have great joy,
This feeling I have, no one can destroy.
His awesome Presence, within me resides,
I’m grateful this blessing, He applies.
His Arms are around me, is peace of mind,
He leads and guides me, and right roads I find.
His near Presence, is a blessing indeed,
Lord, give me wisdom, that I may pay heed.
His Arms are around me, I have this hope,
Salvation is mine, I don’t have to grope.
God promised this to me, ‘fore the world began,
Since He cannot lie, He’ll fulfill His Plan!

I hear the accuser roar, of ills that I have done,
I know them well, and thousands more, but the Father findeth none.
Tho’ the restless foe accuses, sins recounting like a flood.
Every charge our God refuses, for Christ has answered with His Blood.
Since He cannot lie, He will fulfill His Plan!

Fear is alarm, anxiety, cold feet, confusion, discontent, disquiet, depression, dismay, dread, horror, loneliness, mistrust, uneasiness, unrest, name a few things. All these things are from within us. On our own, we cannot conquer them. We cannot conquer fear, we must have help.
What does the Bible say?
Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. [KJV] . . . God gave Abram two good reasons for courage: (1) He promised to defend Abram "I am your shield", and (2) He promised to be Abram’s "very great reward." Any time that you fear what lies ahead, remember that God will stay with all His children through all their difficult times, and He has promised you great blessings.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. [KJV] . . . Paul mentions three characteristics of an effective Christian: power, love and self-discipline. These are available to us because the Holy Spirit lives in us. IF we follow His leading each day, our life will exhibit these traits.
Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. [3:10] And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. [KJV] . . . Like Adam, we have reason to be afraid of approaching God, if we are not clothed with the righteousness of Christ. Instead of admitting their sin, and taking the blame, Adam and Eve tried to excuse their sin, and lay the blame on others. Many times those that are tempted, say they are tempted by God. Many are willing to take the pleasure and profit of sin, but are slow to take the blame of it. Satan’s temptations are all pleasant; but his arguments deceive; his enticements are all false. When he speaks promising words to you, don’t believe him. Sin’s deceitfulness hardens the heart.
Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. [KJV] . . . Being afraid of people can hinder you in everything you try to do. It can even make you afraid to leave your home. On the other hand, fear of God (respect, reverence, and trust) is freedom. Why fear people who can do NO eternal harm? Instead, fear God who can turn the harm intended by others into good for those who trust Him.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. [KJV] We need NOT fear because:
- (1) God is with us
- (2) God is our God, and
- (3) God promises us His strength, help and victory over sin and death.

BECAUSE OF JESUS
Six grand things, no seven, I can name,
Because Christ Jesus, I trust and claim.
Such marvelous blessings, come my way,
From God’s storehouse, ev’ry single day.
God’s love, is the best blessing of all,
There to pick me up, each time I fall.
Hid loving-kindness, is amazing,
Nothing on Earth, can top this blessing!
Christ’s Presence is with me, e’er so near,
Removing my worries, and my fears.
What a grand blessing this is, indeed,
When to His loving will, I do heed.
The Father’s patience with me, ne’er ends,
Because His Holy Son, is my Friend.
The unwise world, simply cannot know,
This superb blessing, that God bestows!
God’s faithfulness, is there all the time,
Day or night, and I can claim as mine.
God will always, be faithful to you,
If only righteousness, you pursue.
The pardon when I sin, is complete,
All my vile, ugly sins, He deletes!
Cast in the sea, of forgetfulness,
The Almighty God, surely does bless!
All our needs are supplied, so wisely,
For He watches o’er us, tenderly!
Body and soul, He blesses each day,
When we love and trust Him, and obey!
That great hope, of life eternally,
That blessing is assigned, O so free!
This hope is a feeling, deep inside,
That knows one day, with Christ we’ll abide!

SAFETY FROM SATAN
Safety from Satan, is what I pray,
For my feet want to go, the wrong way.
Dear Lord, keep me on the narrow path,
Far, far away, from the Father’s wrath.
Safety, from the devil’s temptations,
For I look, to eternal salvation.
Dear Lord, right decisions, let me make,
Let me never, Your great love forsake.
Safety, from old Satan’s tricks and snares,
I must keep watch, and always be aware.
Dear Lord, keep me from his deceitfulness,
Let me stay close to You, that You may bless.
Safety, from the old devils’ vile hate,
Of this evil, I want not to partake.
Dear Lord, let me love instead, I pray,
And let me praise and thank You, ev’ry day.
Safety, from Satan’s desperate lies,
False doctrine is that, on which he relies.
Dear Lord, let me not fall, for heresy,
Let me tell the Truth, of life eternally.
Safety, from Satan’s mighty shrewd ways,
He wants you, from God’s Book, to stay away.
Firmly each day, let me search Your Word,
That I may gain wisdom, from You Lord.
Safety from Satan, this I do plead,
But this I know, to You I must heed.
Closer to You, let me grow each day,
And may Satan stay, far, far away.
Safety from evil Satan, was won,
By the lovinkindness, of God’s own Son.
As He struggled up the hill, of Calvary,
Satan was beaten! Christ got victory!

Satan’s Ambition: (Gen.3:4; 2 Ki.14:10; Isa.28:2; 2 Thes.2:4,7; Rev.12:3). Satan, Arch Deceiver: (Gen.3:5,14; Mat.4:6; Mk.1:13; Jn.8:44; 2 Cor.2:11; 11:14; Rev.13:14; 19:20; 20:7-8) Satan’s Tricks: (Mk.4:15; 8:33; Lk.4:6; 1 Cor.2:11;11:3; Eph.6:11; 2 Thes.2:9; Rev.12:9; 20:7-8)
WHO IS SATAN???
Is Satan really the ugly, red suited, pitchfork-holding cartoon character seated on a throne in Hell? Or . . . does he roam through the earth disguised as an angel of light? Far too many people do not have an accurate view of who Satan really is. Many underestimate him and his superior ability, and some even doubt his very existence. Someone once asked the great evangelist Charles Finney, “Mr. Finney, do you believe in a literal devil?” Finney replied, “You try opposing him for a while, and you’ll see if he’s literal or not.” You will find out just how literal (real) the devil is the moment you make a commitment to Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly shows us just how active and conniving the devil really is, but the Bible also tells about the devil’s limitations and ultimate demise. The more we understand the tactics of this intelligent spirit being, the better equipped we will be to ward off his attacks. Below are some of the things to consider about how the devil (Satan) works.
What are some ways Satan will work in our lives?
BEWARE!!! There are many ways the devil will try to get us to turn away from God:
- #1 Seduce by pleasure (1 Tim. 5:11-15)
- #2 Quote Scriptures to lead astray (Mat.4:6).
- #3 Afflict the body (2 Cor. 12:7)
- #4 Tempt by pride (1 Tim. 3:6)
- #5 Pluck away the seed of the Word (Mark 4:15)
- #6 Tempt by impure thoughts ( 1 Cor. 7:5)
- #7 Hinder through circumstances (1 Thes.2:18)
- #8 Severely buffet in a crises (Luke 22:31)
- #9 Tempt to hypocrisy and lying ( Acts 5:3)
- #10 Tries to make us deny Christ’s virgin birth, or His death and resurrection, or His ascension to Heaven, or His power, or His love for us, or His forgiveness of our sins, or His Second Coming. . . . BEWARE!!! He knows where you are weak! Trust Jesus to help you.
• Satan sinned against God. (2 Peter 2:4; 1 John 3:8)
• Satan was cast out of Heaven. (Luke 10:18)
• Satan was cast down to Hell. (2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6)
• Satan was the author of the fall. (Genn3:1, 6, 24)
• Satan tempted Christ. Mat.4:3-10)
• Satan perverts the Scripture. (Mat.4:6; Psalm 91:11-12)
• Satan opposes God’s work. (Zec.3:1; 1 Thes. 2:18)
• Satan hinders the Gospel. (Mat.13:19; 2 Cor. 4:4)
• Satan works lying wonders. (2 Thes. 2:9; Rev. 16:14)
• Satan assumes the form of an angel of light. (2 Cor. 11:14-15
BEWARE!!! Satan knows where you are weak! Satan is NOT all-knowing (omniscient) like Jesus, but he does have power that we should be aware of. Be on guard, trust Jesus always!
Words of Wisdom
When I measure myself by a pebble, I’m very tall.
When I measure myself by a mountain, I scarcely exist at all.
Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get.
God gives every bird its food, but He does NOT throw it into its nest.

WHICH ONE?
Millions of roads, scatter this world so wide,
But just two lead, to where one day, you will reside.
Lusting and luring, are the devil's way,
He wins over so, so many, in these sinful.
Each and every day, he wins many more,
Keeping them away, from the Golden Shore.
To keep them on his road, he tempts, he deceives,
With each passing hour, millions he receives.
Each day, Satan enlists to serve him, more,
Slyly, subtly, keeping them from the Golden Shore,
He leads them, on and on, down his hellish road,
Cleverly persuading, with tricky goads.
As you read these words, that concern eternity,
Are you racing to Hell? Or to Heaven so free?
The choice belongs to no one, except you,
Which road will you choose? The false one, or the true?
Which one? That broad one that Satan makes easy,
That billions of his children, follow with glee?
More and more vile sinners, join Satan's crowd,
And of their wicked sins, they are pleased and proud.
Which one? That broad, dark, easy to travel one?
Or the narrow path, as you follow God's Son"
Both roads will lead, to your eternity,
Which of these two roads, for you? Hell's prison? Or Heaven's glory?

Eternal death (Pro.8:36; Jn.3:18,36; 8:24; Mk.16:16; Acts 4;12; Rom.1:18; 4:15; 5:9; Gal.3:10; Eph.5:6; 1 Thes.1:10; 5:9; Heb.2:3; 10:26-29; 12:25; Rev.6:16-17)
Eternal life: (Mat.25:46; Mk.10:17,30; Jn.3:15-16; 6:4; 10:28; 17:2; Rom.5:21; 6:23; 1 Tim.6:12,19; 1 Jn.5:10-13,20).
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
Words of Wisdom
It’s never too early to receive Christ; but at any moment, it could be too late.
God does not keep life’s storms from us; He walks with us through them.
Life is a gift from God; how you live it is your gift to God.
Wide and Narrow Roads to Eternity
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
People get wrapped up in a world of pleasures, and it is never a convenient time to consider their salvation or their eternal destiny.
Some get so preoccupied with their business or the cares of life; in hopes of gaining or progressing with their career or profession, they convince themselves it is not now a suitable time for them to consider any religious needs.
Still others believe that this particular time of life is not the most convenient. In their youth their only desire is pleasure, so they put it off. They wait for a better time, maybe middle age, but in their middle age they spend in business, and this is not a good time. So they wait for old age. But old age he finds they are still in love with the world. No matter the age, there just never seems to be a good time to prepare for eternity for the vast majority of people. They put it off just a little longer, until death closes in on them and then it is too late. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV) . . . Do NOT be misled! IF you have not been saved BEFORE you die, you have NO more chance AFTER you are dead. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment!
There are many on the wide road but in the end there will be an existence, totally without God in a place the Bible calls Hell. 2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV)
Very few people find themselves on the narrow road or going by way of the narrow gate. Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. (KJV) . . . If you do not strive to enter in at the strait gate, you will hear these words personally from Judge Jesus one day. We are to strive, make every effort, for it is very important that we have eternal life. We must believe God (1 John 5:1-13), and accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord (John 3:15-18,36). Only when we are born again (John 3:3-8), and trust and obey Jesus, so that when we leave here we will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. We CANNOT earn salvation, BUT we can earn rewards on Judgment Day (1 Cor.3:11-15). On which road are you walking?
There are just TWO roads! One leads to Heaven, the other one leads to Hell. You must decide where you want to go before you die. NO one can pray you into Heaven!
You simply must have FAITH in JESUS!!!

Jesus is our best Friend, and always there,
There in the blink of an eye, go in pray'r.
Troubles can bring heartbreak, and great distress,
But when you have faith in Christ, God will bless.
Heartbreak can come, when a dear loved one goes on,
It's then there can be comfort, from God's Son.
Financial troubles come, to one and all,
Go to Jesus in pray'r, before you fall.
Worry will not ever, help you one bit,
The best advice comes from the Bible, quit!
Persecution can come, from all around,
There is nowhere on Earth, it can't be found.
It comes from friends, neighbors and family,
When it comes, be exceeding glad, with great joy.
Wicked, horrible violence, is world wide,
To stay away from it, you must decide.
Our Lord Jesus, wants us to think of peace,
We should always pray, violence will cease.
So many troubles, we have in this life,
'Tis truly wise to pray, when you have strife.
God waits so patiently, to hear form you,
He'll give pow'r and wisdom, to see you thru'.

Words of Wisdom
To those who are spiritually blind, He does not exist.
To those who are spiritually deaf, He does not speak.
To those who will not seek Him, He will not be found.
To understand God is impossible; but to worship Him is imperative.
When you trust God’s Son, darkness gives way to light.
Is Adversity and Hardship a BRIDGE . . . OR a BURDEN for you?
The life of the apostle Paul is one of the best examples of how hard times can act as a bridge to a closer relationship with God. Phili. 3:8-10 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; (KJV) . . . Paul’s closeness to the Lord came only as the result of severe personal loss and hardship.
Through persecution, Paul learned:
#1. Contentment IS possible, even in the midst of adversity. (Phil. 4:11) Only when we can learn to be satisfied with what we have, will we be content!
#2. God WILL provide supernatural strength when we are weak, IF we really trust Him.(2 Cor. 12:9-10) . . . Paul’s faith allowed the Holy Spirit’s power to work through his life.
#3. The Lord is the Source for ALL our needs. (Phil. 4:19) . . . We have abundant spiritual wealth through Christ Jesus, for Almighty God will supply all your needs.
#4. We can ALWAYS trust in the Lord’s faithfulness. (1 Cor. 10:13) . . . Paul had learned to depend on the Lord to carry him through ANY trial! Something that gives me comfort: Any time that God shuts a door, look around; you will find a window open! God will NEVER leave His people without hope!
#5. We should treat everything as if it is coming from the Lord. (1 Thes. 5:18) . . . The Lord uses all that we experience, even when others wrong us, for His purposes in our lives. IF we stand firm in our faith, and embrace the circumstances that come our way as an opportunity to grow, it prevents our trials from making us resentful. The Lord will NOT leave you! (Heb.13:5; John 15:5)
#6. Adversity and persecution prepares us to comfort others more effectively . . . There are two wonderful and true titles of our awesome God in 2 Cor. 1:3-8. (1). The Father of mercies . . . what is mercy? It is: leniency, clemency, compassion, grace, pity, charity, kindness, forgiveness, love, sympathy, tolerance, consideration, understanding, patience, etc. God is all these marvelous characteristics all rolled into one! (2). The God of all comfort . . . What is comfort? It is: to console, to soothe, to raise somebody's spirits, or reassure; bring cheer to, to calm, to relieve, to relax, to support, to solace, to back, to bring peace to, etc. Again, God is all these marvelous characteristics all rolled into one! Do you see what an awesome God we have? God loves us! He cares for us! He will NEVER do anything that will harm you. Any adversity, difficulty, hardship, sickness, trial, tribulation, temptation . . . He allows so we can grow spiritually! ALL of us will experience what we think as bad things in our lives. Some have more than others. Hang in there! Jesus will NEVER leave you, NEVER forsake you . . . EVER!!! TRUST HIM!!! God ALWAYS has a specific reason for allowing adversity and persecution. Do NOT let it be a BURDEN to lead you away from Jesus. Let it be a BRIDGE of incredible closeness with the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. When adversity or persecution comes, and it will . . . run TO the Lord, NOT away from Him! And always remember to thank Him for past blessings!

This awesome Person, I do not deserve!
I will serve Him night and day, for e’er more,
Here in this life, and on Heav’n’s glorious shore!

Words of Wisdom
When trouble blows up a storm in your life; seek shelter in God.
Life’s challenges are not meant to break us, just bend us in God’s direction.
The secret to “Be anxious about nothing” is to pray about everything.
Jesus Christ is so many GOOD things to TRUE believers: He is our Friend, our Redeemer, our Saviour, our Master, our Judge and our God! He loves us with His all. He comforts us and gives us peace. He will never leave or forsake us ever! He is always there to help us when we call upon Him. He blesses us daily. It shocks me that unbelievers are such fools about the goodness of Jesus. WHY do they hate Jesus so much? Why can’t they see that He is the only Way to avoid Hell?
Why does Christianity (Christ Jesus) prompt such a negative reaction?
Why is TRUE Christianity (those who love Christ Jesus) hated!
Jesus had words to say about it: Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.(KJV) . . . A righteous life is a threat to the devil’s dark world. Christians who love the Lord Jesus and live in obedience to Him, are lights who expose the darkness of sinful lives. The apostle Paul clearly pointed out the connection between holiness and persecution: 2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (KJV)
Oppression comes in many different forms and degrees
In some parts of the world, being a Christian is not only dangerous; it could result in death. For those living in a more free society, persecution comes in the form of bias, bigotry, blame, criticism, discrimination, exclusion, hatred, insults, narrow-mindedness, intolerance, prejudice, etc. Whenever persecution comes, and it will, no matter how severe or mild it is, every TRUE believer must decide: Shall I compromise to avoid trouble . . . OR . . . shall I stand firm and endure. It is true, compromising may bring relief (for the present), BUT . . . those who choose to live righteously, no matter the consequences, gain so much more: a fruitful life that fulfills God’s purpose, a positive influence on other people’s lives, and an amazing witness to unbelievers. The Lord Jesus NEVER compromised! The Lord Jesus NEVER backed away from what He believed! The Lord Jesus NEVER backed away from persecution and suffering! Let us use the Lord Jesus as our Example to live in this wicked world! We must hold fast to the Faithful Word of God! (Titus 1:9). Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (KJV) Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (KJV) . . . The Word of God has lasted from the days of Adam and Eve and Abraham. It is NOT about to go away or be taken away! It is eternal! It shall continue!

HAVE YOU TRUSTED JESUS?
Have you reached out your hand, to Him for aid?
Have you turned to Him, when you were afraid?
Have you, your worries, taken to Him?
Have you trusted Him, in shadows dim?
In your confusion, did you ask Him to guide?
Did you ask that He, your needs provide?
Did you ask that He, your doubts remove?
Did you ask that you live a life, that He approves?
Have you thanked Him, for removing your fear?
Have you thanked Him, for His Presence near?
Have you thanked Him, for His guiding Light?
Have you thanked Him, for making darkness bright?
Have you thanked Him, for taking pain away?
Have you thanked Him, for ev’ry new day?
Have you thanked Him, for your mansion above?
And have you thanked Him, for His awesome love?

Words of Wisdom
Why we are here is important; but where we are going is critical!
Prayer is an open line to God; you never get a ‘busy’ signal!
If you intend to ‘follow’ the Lord; you must ‘walk’ with Him.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO TRUST JESUS?
Faith is NOT positive thinking. Positive thinking does NOT produce faith. Faith is TRUSTING God, and the only way to advance and increase faith is to learn to know our awesome God. Since He is totally trustworthy, as we learn to know Him, we freely learn to trust Him. Faith is trusting God when things do not turn out the way we expect. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV)
This is one of those times when God says it best!
Scriptures about trusting God
Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. (KJV)
2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. (KJV)
Psalm 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. (KJV)
Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (KJV)
Psalm 22:4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. (KJV)
Psalm 25:1-2 Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. 2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. (KJV)
Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. (KJV)
Psalm 56:3-4 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. 4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. (KJV)
Psalm 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. (KJV)
Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. (KJV)
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (KJV)
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. (KJV)
Isaiah 26:3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: (KJV)
Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. (KJV)
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. (KJV)
Ephesians 1:12-14 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (KJV)
Something to Consider: Are you putting your faith and trust in the Lord? Some people seem to trust God with their eternal salvation, but they have trouble trusting Him for their every-day life. Take comfort from these words of Scripture. You CAN trust God with your needs . . . today and eternally! Thank You Jesus!

CHRIST
Many of the prophets of old, did foretell,
Of when Christ would come, and where He would dwell.
And of a young virgin, He would be born,
And His birth would become, a birth forlorn.
Gen.3:15; 49:10; Isa.9:7; 7:14; 11:1-2; Mic.5:2; Dan.9:25
They told how from the king’s wrath, He’d have to flee,
Away to Egypt God sent Him, to safety.
Those walking in darkness saw a great Light,
From Gentiles, God cast away their night.
Hos.11:1; Mat.2:4-15
Christ would spend much time in Galilee,
Healing many sick, and infirmities.
His awesome love, always did abound,
In Him always, great love could be found.
Isa.9:1-2; Mat.4:12-16; 9:1
Then a tragedy; a friend did betray,
Sold Christ for 30 pieces of silver that day.
Judas couldn’t live, with what He had done,
Betraying his Master, God’s very own Son.
Ps.41:9; 109:7-8; Ex.21:32; Mat.26:14-16; 27:3-10
Jesus, by false witnesses were accused,
Smitten and spat upon, they did abuse.
He open’d not His mouth, tho’ they did oppress,
His heartbreak and pain, He did suppress.
Ps.27:12; 35:11; 38:13-14; Mat.26:60-63; Isa.50:6
He bore our griefs, and carried our sorrows,
Jesus thought only, of our tomorrows.
Between wicked sinners, Christ was crucified,
His Hands and Feet were pierced, before He died.
Isa.53:4-5, 12; 50:6; Mat.8:16-17; 27:38; Ps.22:16; Zec.12:10
He was mock’d and insulted, for hours on end,
His own had departed, He had not one friend.
His heart was bereaved, broken and heavy,
Not one was there, to comfort or pity.
Ps.22:6-8; 69:8-9, 20-21; Mat.27:39-40
Gall and vinegar, they gave Him for thirst,
As His heavy heart, felt like it would burst.
But for His enemies there, He did pray,
Awesome forgiveness and love, He did portray.
Ps.109:4; Isa.53:12; Luke 23:34
On that horrid cross, for us, our Saviour died,
His people insisted, He be crucified.
Soldiers, His side, with a spear did pierce.
No compassion! they were evil and fierce.
Zec.12:10; 13:9; John 1:11; 19:34; Mat.24:30; Rev.19:11
Thru’ it all, not one of His bones did they break,
The work He was giv’n, He did not forsake.
Jesus was buried in a rich man’s grave,
The Son of God, for us, His life gave.
Ps.34:20; Ex.12:46; John 19:33; Isa.53:9; Mat.27:57-60
Christ Jesus did NOT stay dead! He rose again!
The tomb was empty, where His body had been.
He ascended up into Heav’n above,
Where He takes our side, with such great love!
Ps.46:10; Mat.16:21; 28:9; Luke 24:36-51; Acts 1:9; Eph.4:8; 1 John 2:1;
Eph.1:20; Col.3:1; Heb.1:3, 13; 8:1; 10:12; 1 Pet.3:22

Words of Wisdom
It is far better to be poor and walk by faith, than to be rich and walk by sight.
It’s not what or how much you say, but how much you care that brings the most comfort.
If you want stability in life; hold tightly to God’s Word!
Jesus dying for us should remind us to live for Him.
WHY am I bringing a Resurrection “Easter” Message at this time of year? Because Jesus came (was born) for this very thing! I don’t think that MOST people really consider WHY Jesus came, and I believe that “Christmas” to them is just a time of drunken parties for the world. Even unbelievers celebrate “Christmas.” How ridiculous! Maybe this ‘Message’ will touch people’s hearts, that they consider the TRUTH! JESUS was born a Man so that He could come to die for sinners like me and you. He took our place on that horrendous cross because He loves us and does not want anyone to die an eternal death in Hell. All He asks is that you trust and obey Him, and you will be permitted access to Heaven one day. Thank You Jesus.
