The Path of Light
Lord, let me always walk, the path of light,
As I run my race, in a world dark as night.
Help me stay on the path, and Your will do,
My heart’s desire, is to always please you.
To Your will Lord, I surrender my all,
Giving in to my will, I’ll always fall.
On Your path of light, is where I must walk,
For in darkness, is where Satan stalks.
Help me stay on the path of light, near You,
Lord, let me always keep You in plain view.
I know I’ll fail You, as I’ve done before,
But You forgive, and I love You all the more.
I must stay e’er so close, as with You I go,
Obedience to You, avoids sorrow.
The love You have for Your people, is sure,
When we walk the path of light, we endure.
When I stumble, You reach out for my hand,
As I journey onward, to Glory Land.
What a wondrous Comfort, You are to me,
Giving me hope, of life eternally.
Thank You dear Lord, my Shepherd and my Guide,
I look to the day, when with You, I’ll reside.
Help me to stay on, that narrow path of light,
As I try by You, to always do right.

We all must make many decisions in our life time. At this time of the year, nearly everyone makes New Year’s resolutions, most of which are broken before the month is over with. What we should consider, is to start taking seriously how we live and walk in life. There are only two roads leading to eternity. I pray that you are on the right road!
The RIGHT WAY!
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (KJV)
Psalm 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. (KJV)
Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. (KJV)
Psalm 119:35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. (KJV)
Proverbs 2:9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. (KJV)
Proverbs 4:11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. (KJV)
Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. (KJV)
Proverbs 12:28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death. (KJV)
Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. (KJV) . . . SO many today will NOT walk right paths.
The WRONG WAY!
Psalm 35:6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them. (KJV)
Psalm 82:5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. (KJV)
Proverbs 2:13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; (KJV)
Proverbs 4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. (KJV)
Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. (KJV) . . . Many people today are led by blind pastors!
John 11:10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. (KJV)
1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (KJV)
1 John 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. (KJV)
Mat.7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
The gate that leads to eternal life is called “narrow” meaning that there is only one way to live eternally with God and only a few that decide to walk that road. Believing in Jesus is the only way to heaven, because He alone died for our sins and made us right before God. Living His way may not be popular with the world, but this life on Earth is not what is important. We must consider eternity. Are you walking the narrow “Path of Light” as you live? It is the only Way to Heaven! If you do not know Jesus as your Saviour, please check Him out before it’s too late. He stands at your heart’s door and knocks (Rev.3:20), but He will NOT force His way in! Your heart’s door has only a doorknob on the inside. YOU must open it to Him!

The Love of Christ
Down deep in Christ’s heart, is love untold,
Love more precious, than the purest gold.
Most people on this fact, don’t agree,
As they rush madly, to eternity.
Each person has an eternal soul,
That speeds on, to an eternal goal.
This goal results, in choices you make,
So Christ’s love, you must not forsake.
We’re all sinners, the Bible does tell,
Without Jesus, we’re headed for Hell.
Jesus’ love, paid our sin’s penalty,
His death on that cross, is our vict’ry.
God loved us so, He sent His own Son,
So eternal salvation could be won.
Christ came not to condemn, but to save,
But we must accept Christ, ‘fore the grave.
Just thru’ Christ, can God’s Kingdom we see,
And the mansion, where one day we’ll be.
Our inheritance, that will not fade,
We must accept, the price that Christ paid.
Consider the love of Christ, this day,
Don’t go another step, the wrong way.
Don’t reject Christ, grab on to His love,
For just He can get you to Heav’n above.

Words of Wisdom
If we do not hate evil, we do not love God.
The world loves quick success; God loves long-term faithfulness.
God Speaks to You
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (KJV)
John 3:15-18 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
1 John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. (KJV)
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV)
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (KJV)
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, [5] Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV)
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (KJV)
Ephes. 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. (KJV)
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
IF you are God’s child, NOTHING can separate you from His love!

I’d Rather
I’d rather serve my Master, and be at His Feet,
Than be a rich man, being served dainties so sweet.
We all have decisions, in this life to decide,
Will we serve the Lord in Heaven? . . . or in Hell reside?
I’d rather be a poor man, and the Lord believe,
Than be a rich man, and the devil’s lies receive.
Many choices stand before us, as this life we live,
It depends what we choose, on what place the Lord gives.
I’d rather follow Jesus, on the path of light,
Than traipse after Satan, on broad roads black as night.
The Lord will guide us, on those narrow roads so strait,
To keep following Satan, you decide your own fate.
I’d rather love the Lord, and be the Father’s child,
Than to listen to Satan, and from Heaven be exiled.
When you choose the devil, and all his wicked ways,
You’ll spend eternity in Hell, all of your days,
I’d rather obey God, and always do His will,
Than allow Satan, worldly desires to instill.
There are only two places, in eternity,
The Lake of Fire, OR Heaven’s amazing beauty.
I’d rather be a fool, in this world’s evil eyes,
Than be an unbeliever, who my God denies.
Choosing another god, is the wrong way to go,
It will lead just to Hell, and eternal sorrow.
I’d rather go to Heaven, and live with the Lord,
Spending ev’n one hour in Hell, I cannot afford.
Lord, help me always to choose, Your will and right paths,
For I ne’er want to face, the judgment of Your wrath.

10 Blessings by doing God’s will:
(1) Entrance to Heaven. Mat. 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
(2) Kept from falling. Mat.7:24-29 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: [25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. [26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. [28] And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: [29] For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. (KJV)
(3) Good deeds are of God. John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. (KJV)
(4) Answer to prayer. 1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. (KJV)
(5) Being blessed. James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (KJV)
(6) Never be moved. Psalm 15:1-5 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? [2] He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. [3] He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. [4] In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. [5] He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved. (KJV)
(7) To abide forever. 1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (KJV)
(8) New birth. 1 John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. (KJV)
(9) Righteousness like Christ. 1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. (KJV)
(10) Confirmation of being God’s child. 3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. (KJV)
JESUS SAYS: John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . hath = HAS! If we believe God, we HAVE eternal life NOW! 1 John 5:11-13; John 3:15-18,36.

Agony in Gethsemane
Our Saviour knelt, in sheer humility,
There in the garden, of Gethsemane.
Not for Himself, but for us, He did pray,
As His Father, He willingly obeyed.
Christ prayed that the cup, be taken away,
If there were possibly, another way.
But if not, may His Father’s will be done,
Obedience would come, from God’s own Son.
He rose from His pray’r, found His friends asleep,
Why sleep ye? rise and pray, from temptation keep.
Then came Judas with a great multitude,
And a kiss to the Lord, he did include.
To the chief priest and scribes, Christ was led away,
Satan won that round, Christ had been betray’d.
From afar off, Peter did follow Him,
Chances of Christ’s release, surely were dim.
Many bare false witnesses, against the Lord,
But none of their witness, was in accord.
I’ll destroy this temple, others did say,
And rebuild it again, within three days.
The high priest asked Jesus: “What do you say?”
But the Lord answered nothing, on that day.
“Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”
He said “I am,” as He was sorely pressed.
You’ll see the Son of Man, on the right hand of pow’r,
Come in the clouds of Heav’n, you know not the hour.
The high priest then accused Him, of blasphemy,
He was condemn’d to death, the verdict: guilty!
He gave His back, to those who did smite,
They plucked the hair off His cheeks, just for spite.
The people spit on Him, hit Him with their hands,
His Face was marred, more than any man, in the land.
Jesus stumbled up the hill, to Calvary,
So weak from the suffering, and agony.
He took OUR place, on that dreadful day,
Because He loves us, and God He did obey.
Most ne’er think, of what our Saviour went thru’,
Those who accept His Work, are among the “few”.
Jesus went thru’, great distress and agony,
When you believe, you have life eternally.

Prophecies about Christ’s passion. Psalm 22:6-8; 22:11-13; 22:17-21; 69:7-9; 69:20; 109:25; Isaiah 50:6; 52:13-14; 53:1-12; Micah 5:1; Zech. 11:12-13; 13:6-7; Mat.16:21; 17:12; 17:22-23; 20:17-19; 27:35; Mark 8:31; 10:1-52; 15:24; Luke 2:34-35; 9:22; 18:31-33; 22:37; 23:34; John 12:38; 19:23; 1 Peter 1:11 Christ’s agony in Gethsemane: Mark 14:27-31. Desertion of Jesus: (Mat.26:31-35; Luke 22:31-38; John 13:36-38). Mark 14:32-42. Agony in the Garden. ( Mat.26:36-46; Luke 22:39-46). Betrayal and Apprehension of Jesus: (Mat. 26:47-56; Mark 14:43-52. Luke 22:47-53; John 18:1-12). Mark 14:53-72. Jesus Arraigned before the Sanhedrin: (Mat.26:57-75; Luke 22:54-71; John 18:13-18, 24-27).
Luke 22:43-44 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. [44] And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (KJV)
Every thing the Gospel writers say about the state of mind in which our Lord entered into this conflict, proves the enormous nature of the assault upon Him, for the perfect foreknowledge of its terrors were possessed by the meek and lowly Jesus long before it happened.
But Luke brings out three things not mentioned by the Matthew, Mark or John.
#1. When Christ was in His agony, there appeared to Him an angel from Heaven, strengthening Him, not to comfort (He would have none of that), but purely to sustain and brace up sinking nature for a yet hotter and fiercer struggle to come.
#2. Being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Prayer, though never out of season, is especially helpful when we are in pain and agony.
#3. In this agony His sweat was as great drops of blood. This showed the struggle of His soul.
Some say it is impossible to sweat blood. That is not true. It is possible under circumstances of extreme suffering or stress. “Hematidrosis” is the medical term. Our Lord Jesus WAS under extreme stress and spiritual suffering of His body and soul.
The horrible effects in the Garden of Gethsemane, was to ransom sinners for whom the Redeemer prayed, agonized, and bled . . . ending with the torture of crucifixion. Have you thanked Him? If not, why not???

Out of the Pits of Hell
Out of the pits of Hell, into Jesus’ Arms,
Believing removes us, from Satan’s harm.
What we are, is a child of the wicked one,
Until we believe and accept, God’s own Son!
Children of the devil, go to fiery Hell,
There eternally, in agony they’ll dwell.
God’s children will go, to the opposite place,
To blissful Heav’n, where we’ll see Jesus’ Face!
To live in disobedience, brings God’s wrath,
But there are so many, on that big, broad path.
A child of God loves the Lord, will trust and obey,
He walks with Jesus, for there’s no other way!
Going Satan’s route, is the wrong way to go,
For it will only bring, eternal sorrow.
But walking with Jesus, in His precious Light,
Will lead you to Heav’n, a most glorious sight.
The Lord gives every one, a will of their own,
And He gives the Bible, so the Way is shown.
The choice is before us, we must decide,
Just where in eternity, we will reside.
Do you want the pits of Hell? Or Jesus’ Arms?
Believing God removes you, from Satan’s harm.
Will you keep on, as a child of the wicked one?
Or will you believe God, and accept His Son?

The devil’s child.
1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (KJV)
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV)
2 Cor. 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (KJV)
2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: [9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV)
God’s children.
John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (KJV)
John 3:3-8 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? [5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. [8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.(KJV)
Romans 8:15-17 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [17] And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (KJV)
Contrasted.
1 John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: [7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (KJV)
1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (KJV)
1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. (KJV)
Jesus the ONLY Way to Heaven. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) . . . BELIEVE GOD!
1 John 5:11-13 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV)

“Transfer”
My horrible wicked sins, He takes away,
The Father then sends, Christ’s righteousness my way.
God forgives my sins, Christ gives me victory,
He shed His precious Blood, on the cross for me.
When we believe in Christ Jesus, we “overcome,”
Our faith will lead us, to our eternal Home.
When we believe God, and Christ Jesus receive,
Never ending life in Heaven, we achieve.
Transferring my sins, for Jesus’ righteousness,
‘Tis beyond my wildest dreams, I must confess.
Christ’s love for us, I simply can’t comprehend,
And no one, any where, is a better Friend!
We have an awesome Saviour, who loves us so,
Only Jesus can save us, from Hell below.
When we trade eternal death, for eternal life,
Jesus takes away, all our worry and strife.
My abominable sins, God takes away,
Then He sends the righteousness of Christ, my way.
When He forgives my sins, He does justify,
On my precious, beloved Saviour, I can rely.
Has Jesus transferred your sins, to righteousness?
Have you accepted Christ, so the Father will bless?
This “transfer” occurs, when you trust and believe,
Believe God, accept Christ; and this “transfer” receive!

Words of Wisdom
Your search for forgiveness ends when you find Jesus.
The blessing of Forgiveness is free. Have you accepted it?
1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV)
God’s children are in direct contrast to them those who "glory" in worldly wealth, wisdom and greatness.
Becoming God’s child is NOT of yourselves. Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV)
Becoming a child of God is of Him. Romans 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (KJV)
We, who were once were spiritually among the "things which are not" . . . are no longer the corrupt and despised beings we once were. We are NOW God’s chosen! How utterly grand that is! 1 Cor. 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: (KJV)
Once our horrible sins are transferred to Christ Jesus’ righteousness, we then live in union with Him. We no longer live "in the flesh" (1 Cor. 1:26, 29).
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: (KJV)
Romans 8:8-9 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. [9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV)
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (KJV)
When this transfer takes place, CHRIST JESUS is made unto us:
#1.Wisdom . . . which is NOT attainable by seeking it in the world. (1Cor. 1:19-20; Col. 2:3; Pro. 8:1-36). Godly wisdom makes us "wise unto salvation," for we owe it to HIS wisdom in originating and executing the plan, whereas once we were "fools."
#2. Righteousness . . . is the ground of our justification (Jer. 23:5-6; Rom.4:25; 2Cor. 5:21); whereas once we were "weak" (Rom. 5:6). Faith makes this all possible (Rom.5:1).
#3. Sanctification . . . by His Spirit; where formerly we were "base." Because of Jesus, our righteousness and sanctification are both perfect and built-in.
#4. Redemption . . . once we were "despised" (1 Cor.1:28). Redemption is the final achievement of the plan of salvation. in the deliverance of the body (Luke 21:28; Rom.8:23; Ephes. 1:14; 4:30; Heb.12:2).
Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV)
1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. [5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (KJV)
Have you overcome? Have you accepted this unbelievable transfer?

Judgment Day
One day, all people will stand Face to face,
Before Judge Jesus, at a judgment place.
“According to their works,” is how it shall be,
As Christ readies each one, for eternity.
In this life as we live, we must prepare,
For our eternal soul, we must take care.
God provides, only two destinations,
This we must take, in consideration.
At the “Judgment Seat,” believers will stand,
Not one will be forgotten, in all the land.
Do you believe God? Do you trust and obey?
God’s Book tells us, there’s NO other way!
Those who deny Christ, and refuse to believe,
Harsh judgment at the “Great White Throne,” they’ll receive.
Into the “Lake of Fire,” these will be cast,
Their punishment there, will for ever last.
Decisions for eternity, in your hand rest,
Don’t wait for Judgment Day, to take the test!
It really does matter, what you believe,
Trust Jesus, if Heaven, you want to receive.
He waits this day for you, so patiently,
His desire is to give you, life eternally.
Open the door of your heart, this very day,
For just Jesus can get you, to Heaven one day.
Judgment Day looms, it shall come, that is sure,
Will it be Hell’s horror, or Heaven’s grandeur?
Only in this life on Earth, can you decide,
Where in eternity, you will reside.

BE WISE my friend!
It truly saddens me, that the vast majority of the world shall have the Lake of Fire as their eternal destination. This is not my conclusion, not my decision, not my opinion, not my judgment. I believe God’s Holy Word, the Bible, and that is what He says there! I am simply here to tell you, to warn you that the most important decision you will ever make, must be made BEFORE you die!
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
Most people live life on Earth as if they will be here forever. That is NOT so! This life on Earth is brief, to say the least! (Job 7:6-10; Job 7:17; Job 8:9; Job 9:25-26; Job 10:9; Job 10:20-21; Job 13:12; Job 13:25; Job 13:28-14:2; Job 17:1; Psalm 22:29; Psalm 39:4-6; Psalm 39:11; Psalm 78:39; Psalm 89:47-48; Psalm 90:3; Psalm 90:5-6; Psalm 90:9-10; Psalm 102:11; Psalm 103:14-16; Psalm 144:3-4; Psalm 146:4; Proverbs 27:1; Eccles. 1:4; Eccles. 6:12; Isaiah 2:22; Isaiah 38:12; Isaiah 40:6-7; Isaiah 40:24; Isaiah 50:9; Isaiah 51:8; Isaiah 51:12; Isaiah 64:6; Luke 12:20; James 1:10-11; James 4:14-15; 1 Peter 1:24)
Many cults today teach “Universalism,” which is that everyone will finally end up in Heaven. That is NOT what God says in His Word! That is a damnable heresy (1 Pet.2:1). Jesus says only a “few” will ever make it to Heaven. I do NOT believe what demonic false teachers say; I believe Jesus!
I do not know why people do not consider eternity. Every one of us has an eternal soul, and shall spend eternity in one of two places: Heaven OR Hell! And every one of us shall face judgment!
JUDGMENT SHALL BE UPON: · All nations. Matthew 25:32 · All men. Heb. 9:27; 12:23 · Small and great. Rev. 20:12 · The righteous and wicked. Eccles. 3:17 · Quick and dead. 2 Tim. 4:1; 1 Peter 4:5 · Shall be done right. Psalm 98:9; Acts 17:31 · The books shall be opened at. Daniel 7:10

· None, without Christ can stand in. Psalm 130:3; Psalm 143:2; Romans 3:19
· Saints, through Christ, shall be enabled to stand in. Romans 8:33-34; 1 John 5:4-5 · Christ will acknowledge saints at. Matthew 25:34-40; Rev. 3:5· Perfect love will give boldness in. 1 John 4:17 · Saints shall be rewarded at. 2 Tim. 4:8; Rev. 11:18

“WOES”
To religious leaders, of that day,
Our Lord did not, have much good to say.
I wonder what He’d say, to ours now,
For so few of them, to God does bow.
“Woe”, He said, you won’t enter Heaven,
Tho’ the prophets and I, the way has given.
And you keep others, from coming in,
This I say, is grievous sin.
“Woe”, He said, with your pious prayer,
Then robbing widows without a care.
“Woe”, He said, when you do proselyte,
Teaching false doctrine, dark as night.
“Woe”, He said, to chase man’s tradition,
And not take God, in consideration.
For who is greater? man or the Lord?
Yet so many, do His Word discard.
‘Woe”, He said, as your tithes you do pay,
And not do greater things, in your day.
Righteousness, justice, faith and mercy,
These ought come first, or you are faulty.
“Woe”, He said, you are filthy inside,
Caring just for appearance outside.
“Woe”, He said, you’re white washed grave stones,
Outward beauty, but full of dead men’s bones.
“Woe”, He said, you think you did learn from the past,
But your actions show, learning fled fast.
The prophets, you did persecute and kill,
From Abel to Zacharias, you had no fill.
If the Lord were here with us today,
I wonder, what He would have to say.
Just how many “Woes, would He pronounce?
How many of us, would He denounce?

Words of Wisdom
No matter how much you nurse a grudge, it never gets better.
Our brain is like a freight car;
it has a certain capacity, but often runs empty
The religious leaders were well known, very powerful and respected. People looked up to them. But, Jesus made some very critical and harsh accusations against them because these leaders were lusting for more power, more money and more status . . . like SO many leaders today . . . and they had completely lost sight of the God whom they should have been serving with fear and trembling (Phil.2:12), instead of pomp, pride and arrogance . . . and much worse, their blindness was spreading to the whole nation.
But, what about today’s pastors and churches? NO, not all of them, but far too many! It makes me sick to read about the greed and covetousness of SO many well known preachers in today’s world! How many “woes” will the Lord Jesus pronounce upon these who lust for more, more, more, and take advantage of poor widows and the elderly who send money they can’t afford, so these satanic monsters can buy million dollar homes and jet planes! They have NO remorse for what they do to God’s people. To me, it is sickening!
BEWARE!! . . . of greedy wolves in sheep’s clothing!
BEWARE!! Of preachers who preach just what people want to hear!
Isaiah 30:9-10 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: [10] Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (KJV)
2 Tim. 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV)
Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. (KJV)
Isaiah 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. (KJV)
Isaiah 5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! (KJV)
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (KJV)
Isaiah 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. (KJV) We must humble ourselves before God like Isaiah, and be careful how we live!

HIS WILL
When you pray, in the Name of God’s Son,
Do you ever say: “Thy will be done”?
Can you commit, your all to the Lord?
Do you really trust Him, and His Word?
To say: “Thy will be done,” faith is the key,
His choices you must trust, completely.
‘Twill not always be, comfort and pleasure,
But His will brings, eternal treasure.
Almighty God, who rules from on High,
Wants His children, on Him to rely.
Doubt is something, we must cast away,
We must trust Him in faith, each new day.
His will? or your will? Which shall it be?
As you walk your way, to eternity?
Be wise, in the decision you make,
It is your will, that you must forsake.
When you pray to Him: “Thy will be done,”
You can expect help, from God’s only Son.
He won’t always take, troubles away,
But, His Presence abides, night and day.
To pray for God’s will; many do fear,
Afraid tribulation, shall come near.
But if trials do come, He won’t go,
His Spirit comforts, in pain and sorrow.
God’s will in my life, a privilege so grand,
For I can always, reach out for His Hand.
The Father wants only, what’s best for me,
As I walk onward, to eternity.

The Will Of God
What is the “will of God”? Will of God = His choice, His special purpose, His desire, pleasure. Is the “will of God” the same for every believer? Can the Bible tell me exactly what to do to perform the “will of God”? These questions are asked over and over by God’s children. There are no same, exact answers for every person. There is NO formula found anywhere in God’s Word that will tell us exactly what God desires of us, because each of us are different, and God’s will for each of us is not the same.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (KJV) . . . It’s hard to believe that one day all the world and everything in it will pass away. It’s even harder to believe that the person who does the will of God will live forever.
So, what is the will of God? Seven things to consider:
- #1 is to believe and accept Jesus (1 John 5:10-12).
- #2 is love . . . for God first, then for others (Mat.22:37-40).
- #3 is willing obedience (Mat.7:24; 12:50; John 14:23).
- #4 is earnest prayer (Mat.6:33; 21:22; Luke 22:42; Eph.6:18; Jam.1:6).
- #5 is patience as you wait for God’s answer for what you should do (Luke 21:19; Rom.5:3-4; 1 Tim.6:11; Jam.1:3-4).
- #6 is daily study of God’s Word (Pro.6:23; Ps.119:11; John 5:39; 17:17; Acts 17:11; Col.3:16).
- #7 is willing service (Mat.28:19).
It seems that God has a plan for every one of His children, and that He has a ‘road map’ for our lives. IF that is so, I want that map! We really should live as He wants us to live. “Not my will, Lord, but Thy will be done.” We need to imitate Jesus (Luke 22:42). We should walk as Jesus walked, following His example! The standard in our Lord’s entire life was to do the will of His Father! He NEVER moved an inch unless His Father told Him to move. And any time He did obey His Father, and it led to difficulties for Him . . . He NEVER backed away! Threats or persecution from His enemies did NOT stop Him from doing the will of God. Neither did the pleadings of His loving friends stop Him from doing what the Father desired of Him. His daily “food” was simply to fulfill His Father’s will. John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. (KJV) . . . Jesus said that His “food” was to obey the will of the One who sent Him and to finish the work the Father gave Him to do. Just as we ‘crave’ food for our bodies, our Lord ‘craved’ to do the will of God. We too should have this craving to do God’s will, deep in our souls. We must seek God’s guidance in our lives. We cannot do as we want and expect God to bless us. It would be senseless to pray “Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven” if we just plowed through life without any thought of what God will for us really is.
It should be our deep desire, honor and privilege to do God’s will. Mat.7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (KJV) . . . So, what IS the will of the Father? We must believe in Christ, repent of sin, live a holy life, love one another. His will for us includes serving Him in a loving and willing manner. Mat.12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. (KJV) . . . Willing and obedient submission to the will of the Father in Heaven is the firm, stable and lasting bond that unites us with Jesus and all other TRUE believers. Only when we enter this holy circle do we become a brother, and sister and mother to Jesus.

A JIGSAW PUZZLE
A jigsaw puzzle, is what life does portray,
New pieces are put in, each and ev’ry day.
Only God can view, our life from afar,
To Him, the door of our life, is ajar.
A jigsaw puzzle, is what life represents,
Trials that come, teach us to be patient.
Never a straight path, life has ups and downs,
Some pieces put in, may cause us to frown.
A jigsaw puzzle, is what life illustrates,
Finding the right piece, is hard to estimate.
Calamities can come, from far and wide,
We must trust the Lord, to manage and guide.
A jigsaw puzzle, is what life depicts,
The pieces at times, can great pain inflict.
Trouble and hardship, can be mysteries,
But faith in the Lord, brings serenity.
A jigsaw puzzle, is what life specifies,
His wise leading, we must never deny.
When we have a burden, His yoke is light,
Allowing Him to help, eases our plight.
A jigsaw puzzle, is what God’s will may seem,
Jesus and you, can make an amazing team!
He will lead you, to your mansion above,
Your chosen destination, giv’n by God in love.
Pieces of the puzzle are put in one by one,
They fit easier, with the help of God’s Son.
One day the puzzle of life, will be complete,
When we sit in glory, at the Saviour’s Feet!

Rom.12:12; Jam.5:10; 1:12; 4:13-15; 2 Pet.3:9; Job 14:1; Mat.11:30;
John 14:1-2; Ps.90:12; Luke 1:75; Phil.1:21.
WORDS OF WISDOM
If I really trust Him, Shall I ever fret?
If I really do expect Him, Can I e’er forget?
If by faith I really see Him, Shall I doubt His aid?
If I really, really love Him, Can I be afraid?
How Can I Have Courage In Trials?
Many people have the mistaken idea that once they make a commitment to Christ Jesus, life will be smooth sailing from then on. Wrong! It’s true that walking with Christ helps us avoid many of the problems we used to face, BUT we are still going to experience what the Bible calls “trials.” Trials come in many forms: crisis, a sudden illness, loss of a loved one, or some drastic change in your life you weren’t figuring on. You may go through a difficult time when you feel as if God’s Presence isn’t there any more, church may not be as exciting as it once was for you, or your prayers seem to go no higher than the ceiling. This may make you to wonder what you did to anger God, or if He has left you.
God does not allow us to experience trials because He wants to see us suffer. He allows these difficulties, pieces of life’s puzzle, to come into our lives to help us grow spiritually; so we can learn to live by faith, not by feelings.
Passages showing how trials work in our lives.
God Promises to be with us during these times of trouble.
1. Trials Sharpen Our Faith. Hardships develop our Christian character and refine and increase our faith. 1 Peter 1:3-7 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: (KJV)
2. Trials Help Us Comfort Others. Suffering deepens our compassion for others who suffer. 2 Cor.1:3-7 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. (KJV) . . . When we experience a difficulty; later on down the road, we may be able to comfort someone who is going through the same thing we went through. We can comfort them because we know exactly what they are going through.
3. We Can Survive Trials. We must keep our eternal perspective through the tough times. 2 Cor. 4:7-18 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (KJV) . . . Though we are weak, He gives us power to persevere. Knowing that the power is His, not ours, should keep us from pride and motivate us to keep daily contact with God, our power source. We must live, letting people see God through us.
4. Trials Test Our Foundation. When we build our lives on the firm ground of Christ, we can weather any storm. Luke 6:47-49 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. (KJV)
5. Jesus Is with Us in Life’s Storms. We are never outside the watchful eye of God, and His abiding Presence. Mark 4:35-41 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. 36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? (KJV)
6. God Gives Hope to Our Troubled Hearts. We can have peace (of mind and heart) in the middle of our greatest trials or sorrow. John 14:1-7 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. (KJV)
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (KJV)
7. Christ gives us boldness. Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. [KJV] Thanks to Christ, by faith we can enter directly into God’s Presence through prayer. We know we are welcome because we are God’s children through our union with Christ. Don’t be afraid of God. Talk to Him about everything. He is waiting to hear from you. And always THANK Him for past help and blessings.

LESSON FROM THE BEATITUDES
We must cast off pride, for humility,
For Heav’n to be ours, for eternity.
We must really mourn, for all sin we do,
Or we won’t receive comfort, pure and true.
A meek, quiet spirit, is of great price,
To God in Heav’n, and never a vice.
The meek one day, will inherit the Earth,
So, meekness unto us, is of much worth.
If we hunger and thirst, for righteousness,
God will see we are filled; God will bless.
If we long to be just and good inside,
As our dear Saviour, we’ll be satisfied.
If we no mercy, to our brothers show,
No mercy from our God, to us will flow.
Our heart within us, must be true and pure,
Or we’ll never see God; and that is sure.
We must not squabble, one with another,
Try to be at peace, with all our brothers.
Blissful Heav’n awaits, all children of God,
That kingdom will be ours, for e’er to trod.
We’re truly blessed, when they persecute,
Any of God’s own, whom Christ did depute.
If they revile, or speak evil falsely,
We should rejoice, and be very happy!
These things of which Christ spoke; are hard to do,
But with the love of our Lord, they’ll ensue.
Trust and obey; always give Him first place,
And my friend, one day, you shall see His Face.

(Mat.5:3-12; 1 Pet.3:4; Rom.12:18)
Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (KJV) . . . God blesses those who realize their need for Him, and the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (KJV) . . . God blesses those who mourn for their sin, confess it and repent of it. They will be comforted.
Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (KJV) . . . God blesses those who are gentle, lowly and humble (like Jesus), for the whole earth will belong to them.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (KJV) . . . God blesses those who are hungry and thirsty for justice and right in the world, for they will be filled. When we hunger and thirst to know more of God, go to His Word. Any one who seeks God shall find Him!
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. (KJV) . . . God blesses those who are merciful to others, for He in turn will show mercy to us.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (KJV) . . . God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. SO! How do we become pure in heart when Jeremiah says that our hearts are deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked? (Jer.17:9).
1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV) . . . God alone makes it possible, and it can happen only through Jesus! God made Christ to be our wisdom, our righteousness, only Christ can sanctify (set us apart) for God, and only Christ can redeem us! SO! For us to be pure in heart, we must believe in Jesus, and accept Him as our Saviour and Lord.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (KJV) . . . God blesses those who strive for peace, they will be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. [12] Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (KJV) . . . God blesses those who are persecuted when they take a stand for Jesus, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God blesses you when you are mocked, ridiculed, persecuted and lied about when you are follow Jesus. Rejoice! Be very happy! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in Heaven one day. And remember, all God’s servants are persecuted in some way at some time, but our Master NEVER forsakes us.
Yes! I know! This is November and Thanksgiving month. Personally, I do NOT think one day out of one month in a whole year is near enough to thank Him for all the blessings He sends our way. Have you really read these verses? Each beatitude tells us how to be blessed. “Blessed” means much more than happiness. It reveals the enviable state of those who are God’s TRUE children. The Beatitudes do NOT promise constant happiness, pleasure or earthly prosperity. “Blessed” means we experience hope and joy, apart from outward circumstances. To have hope and joy here on Earth, we must follow Jesus, no matter the cost. We are “blessed” to be God’s children. We have privileges that unbelievers do not and cannot have. We have God’s love, and we have His abiding Spirit (Rom.8:9). Do you thank Him? Thank You Jesus.

HE CAME
Have you thought, ‘bout all Jesus has done?
Such abundant love, from God’s own Son.
He came to Earth, when He knew He’d die,
He knew His enemies, would crucify.
He didn’t have to leave, Heav’n above,
But His Heart for us, was filled with love.
He knew there was nothing, we could do,
So He came to die, for the chosen few.
Some folks think their works, will get them there,
To God’s Home, that His children shall share.
Accessing Heav’n, is by faith alone,
He came that salvation, could be known.
He came for you, and He came for me,
Our Lord Jesus, gives us victory.
The love that He has, for us stands fast,
This awesome God, from eternity past.
To redeem our souls, is why He came,
Let us give praise, to His Holy Name.
A price we couldn’t pay, Jesus paid,
Let us give thanks to Him, ev’ry day.

Words of Wisdom
God sent His one and only begotten Son to come to Earth as Man, to provide a way for sinners to go to Heaven some day. JESUS is His Name, and He is the ONLY Way you will ever get there! Do NOT turn your back on Him, do NOT reject His love for you. Be wise and open your heart’s door to Him now, if you have not done so in the past.
ACCESS to GOD
1. Access to God is by Christ
John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. [KJV] Jesus is the ‘Gate’ to God’s salvation for us. Only He can give us access to safety and security.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. [KJV] Christ is the Door, we must come to God by Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. [KJV] Christ is the sinner’s Way to the Father (who is in Heaven). He is the Truth, for He has fulfilled all the prophecies of the Saviour. He is the Life, for He joins His life to ours; in this life and eternally.
Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. [KJV] We, as God’s children are privileged!
Eph.2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. [KJV] No one is exempt from Christ’s love or from the family of God. Just open your heart’s door, and let Jesus in!
Eph.3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. [KJV] Because of Christ, we have the awesome privilege of being able to approach God with courage, hope and no fear.
Heb. 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. [KJV] If you are a child of God, Christ paid the price for your sins once and for all. If you are not a believer, think of what Jesus can do for you!
Heb.10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, (KJV) We can boldly enter Heaven and God’s Holy Throne of Grace because of the Blood of Jesus. Believing in Jesus opens way to God. Our "Way" to Heaven is by a crucified Saviour. He died that we might live.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: [KJV] Christ is our example of patient endurance while suffering. Our Lord had NO sin, yet His suffering was unequaled to any one person. He suffered instead of those who had NO righteousness . . . us!
2. Access to God is by the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. [KJV] Through the Person and sacrifice of Christ, sinners are allowed to draw near to God as our spiritual Father. We are accepted into His awesome Presence because of Christ. Christ redeemed us; but the Spirit gives us a willingness to come, and the strength to come, and then He gives us grace to serve God in an acceptable way.
3. Access to God obtainable only through faith.
Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV) Because of our faith, Christ brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We are declared “not guilty” in the courts of Heaven because of our faith in Christ. We have peace with God because of our faith in what Jesus can do for us.
Eph.3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (KJV) Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come fearlessly into God's Presence, and be assured that He will welcome us. Praise be to our Saviour! By faith we can enter directly into God’s Presence through prayer, and we know we will be welcomed with open arms because we are God’s children because of Christ. Don’t be afraid of God. Talk with Him about anything and everything. He is waiting to hear from you. He loves you!
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. [KJV] God will NOT settle for just admitting He exists. He wants a personal relationship with you that will change your life. Those who seek God will find their reward; His
intimate Presence. We cannot come to God, unless we believe that He is who He says He is, and will do what He says He will do. If we want to find God, we must seek Him with all our heart.
Psalm 145:18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. [KJV]
Are you going to Heaven?
