GO WITH THE FLOW
You’ve heard the saying: “Go
with the flow’”
But you must compromise; this I know!
You’ll adjust your morals, to fit in,
And when you do friend, to God, that’s sin!
“Go with the flow” you
say; times have changed,
Don’t submit, or from God you’re estrang’d.
Our wondrous God always stays the same,
Not like us, changing from game to game.
“Ev’ry body’s doing
it” you say,
But friend, it’s wrong, if it’s not God’s way!
To go with the flow is just not right,
With God, you’ll get in an awful tight.
“Go with the flow”, that’s
the devil’s road,
And you’ll follow him, to his abode.
That road is so easy, and so broad,,
But friend, it leads, away from God!
Take a firm stand for Jesus today,
Don’t let ANYONE lead you astray.
Don’t “Go with the flow”; walk the strait road,
And Christ will lead you, to HIS abode!

WORDS OF
WISDOM
Look where you are
going, because you will end up going where you are looking.
It’s not going out of port, but coming in, that determines
the success of the voyage.
Life’s challenges are not meant to break us, just bend us
in God’s direction.
At this time of the year, everyone is making
New Year’s resolutions, most of which they never carry out.
But we must look at the entire year, not just New Year’s day!
We must not “go with the flow” as many do. We must,
as believers in Jesus Christ, walk the road where He walks and talk
the talk that He talks. Let this be our year long resolution.
Proverbs
14:12 There is a way which
seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (KJV) The “way that seems right” may
offer many options and require few sacrifices, but we should always
take a second look, even if “everybody’s doing
it.” Easy choices will usually ask you ask you to
change your life-style, and they require no moral restraints. Don’t
be attracted by apparent shortcuts that seem right but end in death.
Don't go with the flow.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction,
and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the
gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there
be that find it. (KJV)
To go with the flow will lead to destruction (Hell).
Walking with Jesus on the strait and narrow path leads to eternal
life. Which do you want?
Ephes. 2:1-3 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
[2] Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this
world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit
that now worketh in the children of disobedience: [3] Among whom
also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our
flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and
were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (KJV)
Sin is the death of the soul, and to go with the flow instead
of walking with Jesus is sin! A state of sin is a state of conformity
to this world. Millions are slaves to Satan because they go with
the flow.
Titus 3:3 For
we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived,
serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful,
and hating one another. (KJV) To go with the flow is living a life of pleasure and giving in to every sensual desire.
Many think freedom consists in doing anything they want. But this
path leads you to being a slave to sin. A person is no longer free,
but is a slave to what his or her body dictates (2 Peter 2:19).
Only Christ can free you from ungodly desires and control of sin.
Have you been released?
James
1:14 But every man is
tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (KJV) People who live for God often wonder why they still have temptations.
Does God tempt them? NO! God tests people, He does not tempt them
by trying to seduce them into sin. God allows Satan
to tempt people to help them grow in their dependence on Christ.
We can resist the temptation to sin, if we have strength from God.
Let us choose to obey His Word, NOT go with the flow.
1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of
the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither
he that loveth not his brother. (KJV) The children of God (those
who walk with Jesus) and the children of the devil (those who go
with the flow) each have their own distinct characters.
Jeremiah 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:
who can know it? [10] I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the
fruit of his doings. (KJV) God will judge everyone according
to their deeds. Do you go with the flow? or do
you walk with Jesus on the narrow path? On Judgment Day, NOTHING
shall be hidden from the Judge’s eyes!

YOU EXPEDITE
. . . .
When I feel low, and day’s
dark as night,
Your love and comfort, you expedite.
Always there, in the blink of an eye,
When I’m in need, you never deny.
You expedite your wisdom and
pow’r,
And it arrives at just the right hour.
Your infinite love and compassion,
There for your children; you never shun.
When the world looks down
on me in hate,
I recall that you too, had this fate.
When I try always to do what’s right,
Your wise, loving words, you expedite.
When Satan steps in with trials
great,
You’re there; my heart and soul to elate.
Persecution will come, ev’ry day,
But your love you expedite and portray.
Your love and kindness, grace
and mercy,
You expedite to the likes of me.
Without you Lord, I could not get by,
But you’re always there, and won’t deny!

WORDS OF
WISDOM
Hold tight to the power of love . . . flee from the
love of power.
God’s love has NO limits, NO restrictions.
God’s
love for us should be manifested in our love for Him and our neighbors.
Matthew
22:36-40 Master, which
is the great commandment in the law? [37] Jesus said unto him, Thou
shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment.
[39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour
as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and
the prophets. (KJV) These
are the commandments of God’s TRUE children, born again believers.
Our Lord Jesus quoted from Deut. 6:5 and Lev.19:18. By fulfilling
these two commands, a person keeps all the others. These two summarize
the Ten Commandments and all the other Old Testament moral laws,
a total of 613 Laws. Jesus says that if we truly love God and our
neighbor, we will do no one any harm.
Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever
ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this
is the law and the prophets. (KJV)
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill,
Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt
not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly
comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour
as thyself. (KJV)
James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: (KJV) The
"royal law" is LOVE!
Do unto others as you would want them to do to you. If more people
would follow the “Golden Rule” it would be a better
world, and when we would go to God in prayer, He would “expedite”
His blessings toward us with lightening speed.
Psalm 20:6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him
from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
(KJV)
Psalm
55:17 Evening, and morning,
and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. (KJV)
Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace
and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
(KJV)
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not
speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come. (KJV)
God’s Holy Spirit is within all TRUE believers. That is expediting
love, comfort, wisdom, power, and compassion to His children in
record time! Thank You Jesus!

THREE CROSSES
On Calvary’s hill, three horrid
crosses stand,
Three men hang there, nail’d in their feet and hands.
The piercing of the nails, impels them to cry,
Three on crosses hang, sillouettes against the sky.
The ONE in the midst, spoke words
brief and few,
“Father, forgive them, they
know not what they do.”
Words from parched lips, from ONE who truly cares,
Interceding for His enemies, in this short prayer!
On either side of Christ, were two
common thieves,
The one would soon obtain, an eternal reprieve.
“Remember me, O Lord,” repentently he cries,
“Today thou shalt be with
Me in Paradise.”
John stood with His mother, her comfort
to seek,
This beloved disciple, then heard Jesus speak:
“Behold, thy mother; woman,
behold thy son,”
These tender words from their greatly loved ONE.
As Christ hung dying in anguish,
sad and alone,
This ONE with the purest heart, this world has e’er known.
A woeful utterance bursts forth; heart-felt agony,
“My God, my God, why hast
Thou forsaken me?”
“I
thirst;” His thirst was almost more than
He could bear,
But vinegar was all that was offered there.
But the breaking Heart, of the Saviour of man,
Would not retreat, from God’s redemption Plan!
“It
is finished,” His Work on the Cross was
done,
This humble Man, who was truly God’s own Son!
“Father, into Thy Hands,”
our precious Saviour cries,
“I commend My Spirit;”
and then so bravely dies!
But is He dead? Nay! Our Lord Jesus did arise!
O that we would shout it to the highest skies!
Nothing could hold Him, behind His tomb’s dark door,
He lives! He lives! And He will live for ever more!

Our Lord spoke seven memorable
words from the cross:
• #1 Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father,
forgive them; for they know not what they do.
(KJV) Jesus asked God to forgive those who were putting Him to death;
Jewish leaders, Roman politicians and soldiers, bystanders. God
answered His prayer by opening up the way of salvation even to Jesus’
murderers. The Roman centurion and soldiers who witnessed the crucifixion
said, “Surely he was the Son of God” (Mat.27:54).
Because we ALL are sinners, we ALL had a part in putting Jesus to
death. The Gospel proclaims that God is gracious, and will forgive
us and give us new life through His Son. Roman soldiers customarily
divided up the clothing of executed criminals among themselves.
When they cast lots for Jesus’ clothes, they fulfilled the
prophecy in Psalm 22:18.
• #2 Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily
I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. (KJV) As the thief was about to die, he turned to Christ, and Christ
accepted Him (John 1:12). This proves that our deeds do NOT save
us. It is only our faith in Christ that saves us. It is
never too late to turn to God! Even in His agony, Jesus
had mercy on this criminal who decided to believe in Him.
• #3 John 19:26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing
by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! (KJV) Jesus
entrusted His mother to a person who stayed with Him at the cross
. . . and that was John.
• #4 Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is
to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (KJV) (also Mark 15:34) Jesus knew that He would be temporarily
separated from God the moment He took upon Himself the sins of the
world. This separation was what He had dreaded as He prayed in Gethsemane.
The physical agony was dreadful, but the spiritual alienation from
God was ultimate torture. See Psalm 22 for prophecy expressing Jesus’
deep agony.
• #5 John 19:28-29 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished,
that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I
thirst. [29] Now there was set a vessel full of
vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon
hyssop, and put it to his mouth. (KJV) Jesus had a burning
thirst from the anguish of the cross. See Psalm 22:15 and Psalm
69:21.
• #6 John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It
is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up
the ghost. (KJV) Jesus became the final and ultimate Sacrifice
for sin. Finished means “paid in full.”
Jesus came to finish God’s work of salvation (John 4:34;17:4).
The complex sacrificial system ended when Jesus took all sin upon
Himself. Now we have access to God (Rom.5:1-10) because of what
Jesus did for us. If we believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection,
we shall live eternally with God and escape His wrath and the penalty
that comes from sin.
• #7 Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. (KJV) Jesus trusted
the Father with His all. How about us?

THE LORD
IS MY SHEPHERD
My loyal Shepherd is Jesus, my
Lord,
I will follow Him, in willing accord.
Trusting completely, I’ll follow Him,
When He lightens my path, it’s never dim.
I shall not want, He fills all
my needs,
My thirst and hunger, He always feeds.
He restores my soul to righteousness,
So many ways, my Shepherd does bless.
He leads me only in paths that
are right,
And He never lets me out of His sight.
For His Name’s sake, He does all these things,
Leading me on, to life everlasting.
Tho’ thru’ death’s
shadowy valley I walk,
His Presence is near, as my fears He stalks.
His rod and His staff, they comfort me,
I’ll continue to follow Him joyously.
Secured and refreshed; my Shepherd
provides,
Tho’ enemies are near, in Him I’ll confide.
My cup runs over, I have perfect joy,
His wisdom, love and pow’r, I do employ.
His goodness and mercy shall follow
me,
Here on Earth, and on thru’ eternity.
One day I shall dwell, in His Home on high,
For my Shepherd states, that I qualify.

Psalm 23:1 A
Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[KJV] Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need.
Because He is my Shepherd, I have perfect salvation. Perfect
Provision. Some other verses that also tell me
He provides all I need if I just trust Him. Mat.6:31-33; 19:29;
Luke 6:38; 2 Cor.9:8; Phil.4:19.
•
Psalm 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. [KJV] Did you know
a sheep is afraid of fast, rushing waters? There really are many
things of which sheep are afraid. We, as believers (God’s
children) are “sheep.” For Jesus is our capable, watchful,
and tender Shepherd, the Shepherd of our souls; providing Perfect
Satisfaction. The comforts of the Holy Spirit
are the “still waters” by which God’s children
are led. These streams flow from the Fountain of living waters
giving Perfect Refreshment. Psalm 48:14; 73:24; Prov.3:6; Isaiah 28:26
•
Psalm 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in
the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [KJV] We
can only reach “paths of righteousness”
by following Him willingly and obediently. For only He can provide Perfect Peace and joy. Col.1:11; 2 Cor.4:8-10;
4:16; Heb.12:3; Phil. 4:13.
•
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with
me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [KJV] A “shadow”
is an illusion; something that’s not what it appears to
be. We need “fear no evil”
for we have perfect protection from our Shepherd. Between our
life here on Earth and our entering Heaven, we all must face the
dark, shadowy valley of death, unless the Rapture occurs and Jesus
takes us home. “For Thou art with me”
is a tremendous comfort and peace within our soul. Our Shepherd
is Perfect Company. Because life is so uncertain, we should follow this awesome Shepherd
who offers to us eternal comfort. When our “valley”
comes, our Shepherd will rebuke the enemy of death; He will guide
us with His rod, and sustain us with His staff. Perfect
comfort. What a Shepherd we have! Psalm 48:14; 73:24;
Isaiah 42:16; Luke 1:79; Luke 12:7; 1 Peter 5:7; 2 Tim. 1:12.
•
Psalm 23:5 Thou preparest
a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest
my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [KJV] The Perfect
Shepherd and
Host, promises to guide and protect us through life, no matter
what. He offers us (again) Perfect
Provision. “My cup runneth over,”
meaning we have Perfect Joy. Prov. 9:5-6; John 6:32-35; 6:48-51; Mark 14:22; Rev.19:9.
•
Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness
and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will
dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. [KJV] Our perfect
Shepherd and Host, gives us His Word that He will lead and defend
us through this earthly life, and then bring us into His house
for eternity. Our
Perfect Shepherd takes perfect care of us. Psalm
33:5; 34:8; 119:68; 145:7; Isaiah 63:7; Nahum 1:7; Rom. 11:22.
The
Lord is Faithful To Believers.
HE IS OUR:
Refuge
and strength. His help
is there for us always when we need it, in any kind of trouble
or sorrow. (Psalm 46:1-3; Heb. 6:18)
Shepherd. He provides protection, provision, refreshment and security.
(John 10:1-18)
Guide. He clearly leads us in right paths, giving companionship, protection
and support. (Psalm 31:3; 32:8; 48:14; 61:2)
Host. We are welcome at His table where He serves a rich abundance
of food and drink. Our welcome and feasting will be eternal.
(Psalm 31:19; Isaiah 64:4; Mat.25:34; John 14:2; Rev.19:6-9)
Shield. A shield is symbolic of God’s protection. (Psalm
5:12; 18:2; 18:35; 33:20; 59:11; 84:9; 84:11; Prov.30:5)
Words
of Wisdom
Psalm 73:24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward
receive me to glory. (KJV) What a beautiful Promise!

WE NEED NOT
WALK ALONE
Troubling times are encountered in
life,
We’ll experience sorrow, pain and strife.
But we need not walk life’s path alone,
Give Christ your burden; He’ll make it His own.
Many fierce storms in life we’ll
face,
Haunting mem’ries, we can’t seem to erase.
But we need not walk life’s road afraid,
Jesus is near; He’ll comfort and aid.
Tho’ pain and sorrow may come
our way,
We can look forward to a better day.
Worry need not hinder life’s path as we walk,
Christ is near, with His comforting talk.
If we’re God’s child,
we don’t walk alone,
Jesus will guide, and make right roads known.
No matter how severe our agony,
Christ’s Presence is there, for you and me.
All your troubles may ne’er
go away,
But His Presence makes a much better day.
We can do all things with His great pow’r,
He’ll help carry our load, ev’ry hour.

WORDS OF
WISDOM
God does not keep life’s storms from us; He
walks with us through them.
No burden is too heavy for the powerful arms of God.
If God brings you TO it, He will bring you THROUGH it! (Nolan)
We all can relate to the Psalms
because they express our feelings. We all face troubles, just as
did the Psalm writers hundreds of years ago, and we often respond
as they did.
In Psalm 3, David told God how he felt about the odds against him.
But soon, the king realized that God’s Presence and care made
the odds meaningless.
Psalm 3:3 But
thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of
mine head. (KJV) This experience is repeated in many of the
Psalms. Nearly always, the hope and confidence in God far outweigh
the fear and suffering.
The psalm writers continually poured
out their thoughts and emotions to God. When they felt abandoned
by God, they told Him. Don’t we do the same? When they were
impatient with how slowly God seemed to be answering their prayers,
they also told Him. Because they recognized the vast difference
between themselves and God, they were free to be men and to be honest
with their Creator. That is why so many of the dark Psalms end in
glorious light.
The psalmists started by expressing
their feelings and ended up remembering to whom they were speaking!
Do we really tell God what we are really thinking and feeling? Do
we really perceive, really know, even faintly, just who is listening
to our prayers!
Is your appreciation of God sincere?
Are you really aware that He is the Master Creator of the Universe?
Are you are honest with Him?
Even though the disciples had witnessed
many miracles, they panicked when a storm arose. They knew its danger;
but what they did not know was that Christ controls the forces of
nature.
Is there ever a stormy area of
your life where you feel that God can’t or won’t help?
When we truly understand just who God is, we will realize that He
controls both the storms of nature and the storms of our troubled
heart. Jesus’ power that calmed the storm that day, can also
calm the storms of life . . . He can help us with the problems we
face. Jesus is willing to help if we would only ask Him. We should
never diminish His awesome power even in our worst trials.
Matthew 8:23-27 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed
him. [24] And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch
that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. [25]
And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save
us: we perish. [26] And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little
faith? Then he arose, and
rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. [27]
But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that
even the winds and the sea obey him! (KJV) We need not walk alone in life. Our precious Saviour and Lord
is just a prayer away! No matter what your situation, He can help,
and He will help if you ask Him and believe in faith that He will
help you. To know that His Presence is near is an amazing feeling.
Stay close, walk with Him in life, not only in the bad times, but
the good as well. He loves you, and the comfort, strength and peace
He can give cannot be matched by anything the world has to offer.

A PROMISE
One day we’ll be winging our
way on high,
We’ll be carried by angels, thru’ the sky.
This is a Promise, Christ Jesus has told,
Our last journey will be, to that street of gold!
No more pain, nor sorrow, nor agony,
A Promise Jesus makes, to you and me.
No more crying in Heaven, no more tears,
Eternal bliss, with never any fears.
A Promise, of a “mansion”
that awaits,
Angels will carry us, thru’ the pearly gates.
I look forward, to this journey to come,
For angels will carry me, to my Home!
Hindrance by the devil, won’t
be allow’d,
As we take our last journey, thru’ the clouds.
We’ll be taken, to the Presence of the Lord,
A Promise that is made to us, in His Word.
For each believer,
a “mansion”
is there,
A Promise from Jesus, because He cares.
This wondrous mansion, is reserv’d for you,
A Promise from God; trustworthy and true.
God’s angels will carry us,
home one day,
Where we’ll be with Christ Jesus, for always.
Eternal bliss, in our "mansion" above,
All because of our God’s amazing love!

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass,
that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's
bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; (KJV)
Poor Lazarus, his burial was too unimportant to mention; while the
rich man died and was buried, his carcass carried in splendor to
its earthly resting-place. But, let’s go back to Lazarus .
. . when he died, he was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom! WOW! This
goes along with what Paul said. 2 Cor. 5:8 We
are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body,
and to be present with the Lord. (KJV)
Lazarus was carried by angels into the Presence
of Almighty God! His body was buried, but at the moment of his death,
his eternal soul was at home with God! So, why will the souls of
believers be carried by angels out of this world at our death, like
Lazarus? Because Satan is in control of the air space (Eph.2:2).
The angels carry us through the air, safely to God. God makes great
Promises! Doesn’t He?
John 3:16 For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV) IF we believe in Jesus, we
have eternal life, NOW! (John 5:24).
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be
troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's
house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where
I am, there ye may be also. (KJV) Jesus’ Words show that the way
to eternal life, though unseen, is secure . . . as secure as your
trust in Jesus. He has already prepared the way to eternal life
by His death on the cross. The only issue that may still be unsettled,
is your willingness to believe.
There are so few verses in Scripture that describe eternal life,
but these verses are rich with Promises. Jesus tells us: “I
am going there to prepare a place for you,”
and “I will come
back.”
We can look forward to eternal
life because Jesus has promised it to all who believe in Him. The
details of eternity are unknown, and the place where we are going
is mind boggling, but we need not fear because Jesus is preparing
for us and will spend eternity with us. Read Revelation chapters
21 and 22 for a description of Heaven.
Titus 1:2 In
hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before
the world began; (KJV) The foundation of our faith is trust
in God’s character. God is Truth, He CANNOT lie. Believing
in Him leads to the eternal life that God has promised will be ours,
because He keeps His Promises.
1 Peter 1:4 To
an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not
away, reserved in heaven for you, (KJV) Born
again believers (John 3:3; 1:12) can look forward
to a family inheritance and mansion in the eternal city of God.
God has reserved the inheritance for us; it will never fade or decay;
it will be unstained by sin. You have this inheritance ONLY if you
have trusted Christ as your Saviour.

THIS
NARROW ROAD
There’s a narrow gate, we
must go thru’,
‘Tis our first step to life, pure and true.
As we pass thru’ the gate, a road we’ll see,
That road leads to life, eternally!
This small narrow road, leads to
Heav’n’s gate,
To the Father’s Home, where He does await.
Passage is granted, just thru’ God’s Son,
Christ Jesus holds the key, the only one!
This narrow road at times, gets
sheer and steep,
But Jesus will guide, and safely keep.
He’ll be with us, with each step we take,
He promis’d, He’ll not leave nor forsake!
This narrow road may get rough
and bumpy,
But Jesus from our side, will not flee.
Troubles may come, but we must not doubt,
For Christ cheers us on, with His vict’ry shout!
This narrow road may dip, to canyons
low,
But Jesus’ leadership, will clearly show.
He’s with us in all, ups and downs of life,
He helps us remove our doubts and strife!
This narrow, winding road, leads
us Home,
And Jesus will never, leave us alone.
Onward it leads, to our mansion above,
Built by our Saviour, with such great love!
There is another road you can take,
But friend it would be, a big mistake!
That broad, easy road, leads only to Hell,
Where for eternity, you would dwell.
Are you today, on this narrow road?
Or are you headed for Hell’s abode?
That broad will lead you, the wrong way,
Turn away, get passage, from Christ today!

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter
ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the
way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in
thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) Jesus' Words. The gate leading to eternal life (John 10:7-9) is called “narrow.” There is only ONE way to live eternally with God and only a few people ever decide to walk that narrow road. Believing in Jesus is the only way to Heaven, because He alone died for our sins and made us right before God (Rom.5:1-10; 1 Cor.1:30). Living His way is getting to be less and less popular, but if you want to go to Heaven, Jesus is the only One who can get you there!
John 14:1-6 Let
not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in
me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not
so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3]
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
[4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. [5] Thomas
saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how
can we know the way? [6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) Jesus' Words.
JESUS IS GOD! John 10:30 I
and my Father are one. (KJV) Jesus' Words. The happiness
of Heaven is in the Father’s House. There are many mansions
(eternal dwellings), that He is preparing for us. Christ is the
weary sinner’s only Way to the Father, who is in Heaven.
Christ in His Person is God manifest in the flesh, in His atoning
Sacrifice, and as our Advocate. He is the Truth, fulfilling all
the prophecies of a Saviour; He is the Way, by which all sinners
come to the Father. He is the Life, by whom we are quickened from
the dead. NO man can come to God as a heavenly
Father, who is not quickened by Him. By Christ, as the Way, our
prayers go to God, and His blessings come to us. All that see
Christ by faith, see the Father in Him. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am,
there ye may be also. Jesus
is in Heaven! He will come and get us
one day soon!
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation
be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye
have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV) Contentment comes when we realize God can take care of our
needs. Many people by their actions say that God can’t take
care of them . . . because they want Him to supply their wants,
not their needs. There is a big difference! When we trust God
to meet all our needs, we feel His Presence that will never leave
us, never forsake us!

With so many blessings, each day anew.
Every need you have, He will supply,
And your ardent pray’rs, won’t be denied.

That we have help in life, as we run our race.

Great contentment you will feel, deep inside.
A peace like none other, you’ve ever known,
Is placed in your soul, as His love is shown.
A storehouse of love, He will give to you,
When you become, one of the faithful few.
This deep well of love, will never run dry,
The more you give away, the more He’ll supply.
Wondrous joy is felt, no matter your strife,
For deep down you know, you have eternal life.
Too, deep down you know, He’ll not leave, not forsake,

To the bottom of the sea, your sins are sent.

On this amazing God, you can rely.

For our amazing God, truly does care.
But you must be God’s child, you must believe,
Or none of God’s blessings, will you receive.

Some Verses Speaking of Our Amazing God!
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV) The “Word” is Jesus!
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (KJV)
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. (KJV)
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (KJV)
1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV)
Ephes. 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, (KJV)
Philip. 2:6-11 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (KJV)
Col. 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; (KJV)
Col. 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (KJV)
Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; (KJV) Only Jesus is perfect!
Psalm 72:8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. (KJV)
Psalm 2:8-12 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. [9] Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. [10] Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. [11] Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. [12] Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. (KJV) Christ Jesus is God’s only begotten Son, in whom He is well pleased!
John 10:30 I and my Father are one. (KJV) The Son and the Father are ONE!

CHRIST WAS THERE
Christ made the Earth, sky and sea; divided day from night,
He created everything, by the power of His might.
Noah made the ark, put the animals on three floors,
Then when everything was ready, Jesus shut the door.
Nimrod built a tower, that reached far into the sky,
Only on their pow’r and wisdom, did these people rely.
The pride of Babylon, came to an blunt halt one day,
Christ confused languages, and they fled in every way.
The pre-incarnate Christ, to Abraham one day did come,
And Abraham entertained Him, in his humble home.
The Lord told him “Lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son,”
And everything the Lord promises, shall be done.
Christ destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, with brimstone and fire,
For the lifestyle there had become, an evil, wicked mire.
When she looked back, a pillar of salt, Lot’s wife became,
She disobeyed God, had no one but herself to blame.
Christ was there with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego,
When into that horrid, fiery furnace they did go.
They refused to worship that giant statue of gold,
Their faith in God, gave them great courage to be bold.
Christ closed the mouths of the hungry lions in the den,
When Daniel disobeyed the king’s law, way back then.
He still prayed to Almighty God three times a day,
He was saved from sure death, when God he did obey.
Christ is there for us today, as He was for all of these,
When we trust Christ with our all, the devil cannot seize.
Only Jesus can save us from the horrid pits of Hell,
Just He can open Heaven’s gate, where all God’s children shall dwell.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (KJV) Christ and the Father are ONE (John 10:30).
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (KJV) This shows how well qualified Christ was for the work of our redemption and salvation. Our eternal destiny depends upon Him.
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. (KJV) Even though Christ created the world, the people He created didn’t recognize Him, in the past, or now! Even the people chosen by God (Israel) to prepare the rest of the world for the Messiah rejected Him, even though the Old Testament which they had, pointed to His coming.
Genesis 7:16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. (KJV) Noah’s ark.
Genesis 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. (KJV) The tower of Babel.
Genesis 17:15-17 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. [16] And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. [17] Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? (KJV) Isaac’s birth announced.
Genesis 19:24-26 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; [25] And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. [26] But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. (KJV) She disobeyed God (19:17), and looked back.
Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. (KJV) Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace.
Daniel 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. (KJV) Daniel in the lion’s den.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) If you want to go to Heaven, where the Father is, Christ is the only WAY to get there! Just Jesus can save you from Hell! The devil has NO power over us when we trust Jesus as our Saviour and Lord. Christ was there in the past, and He’s there for us NOW!

IN THE SHADOW OF HIS CROSS
In the shadow of His cross, I kneel,
The love He bestows, I truly feel.
I gave up, all vanity and pride,
For only then, would Jesus reside.
In the shadow of His cross, I knew,
That I was one of His chosen few.
One of God’s children, Jesus made me,
Privileged I am, for eternity.
In the shadow of His cross, I saw,
Without Jesus, I was deeply flaw’d.
My sin had left a dark crimson stain,
In that life, I did not want to remain.
In the shadow of His cross, I’d face,
Hatred, persecution and disgrace.
They hated Jesus, they would hate me,
He told me so, ‘twas no mystery.
In the shadow of my Saviour’s cross,
I see all I have, and count it loss.
Things of this world, are not my treasure,
Christ is my All, He’s far beyond measure.
Many things I saw, as I knelt that day,
And He assur’d me of a better way.
He made things clear, as I did repent,
I know His grace will be sufficient.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (KJV) There is NO greater Friend than Jesus, anywhere!
John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. (KJV) Jesus warns us that living for Him, and walking with Him won’t be easy!
2 Cor. 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (KJV)
Only when you humble yourself and fall down at the foot of His cross will you ever feel the wonder of His amazing love and grace! When you kneel, that love is like a beautiful spring shower flowing ever so gently over you. You are filthy when you kneel, but that shower of love will make you white as snow. My words will sound foolish to you, unless you too have knelt in the shadow of His cross and felt His awesome love.

THANK YOU, LORD
Thank You dear Lord, because You are You,
Our amazing God, wondrously true.
For all You do, thank You precious Lord,
Help me to walk with You, in accord.
Thank You Lord, for blessings You bestow,
You are there, when I cry in sorrow.
All the times I stumble, You are there,
And You lift me up, because You care.
Thank You Lord, for You answer my call,
No matter what trouble may befall.
You are there in the blink of an eye,
When I call to You, You ne’er deny.
Thank You Lord, for inexpressible love,
This care and concern comes just from above.
Compassion from You, like a river flows,
‘Tis a privilege, that my Saviour I know.
Thank You Lord, for Your abundant grace,
I’m grateful, that this blessing I taste.
You never give more, that I can bear,
For all my burdens, You gladly share.
Thank You Lord, for You forgive my sins,
For just with You, can this battle I win.
Satan tries hard, to take me away,
From Your loving arms, each single day.
Thank You for my “mansion” You prepar’d,
Where I’ll spend eternity in Your care.
Thank You Lord, because You are You,
And from Hell’s misery, You did rescue.

Deut. 8:10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee. (KJV) This verse is traditionally referred to as the reason we say grace before or after meals. Its purpose, though, was to warn Israel not to forget God when their needs and wants were satisfied. Let your table prayers serve as a constant reminder of the Lord’s goodness to you in all things.
1 Chron. 16:8 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. (KJV) Four conditions of true thanksgiving are found in this song: (1) remember what God has done for you, (2) tell others about it, (3) reveal God’s glory to others, and (4) offer gifts of self, time, and resources. If you are truly thankful, your life will show it. Several parts of this psalm compare to songs in the book of Psalms: 1 Chron. 16:8-22 with Psalm 105:1-15; 1 Chron. 16:23-33 with Psalm 96; 1 Chron. 16:34-36 with Psalm 106:1, 47-48.
Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (KJV) To enter God’s gates is speaking of prayer and worship. Only our Almighty, Creator God alone is worthy of being worshiped. Do you willingly and joyfully come into God’s Presence, or do you just going through the motions? We should always remember God’s goodness, grace and dependability, and then worship Him with thanksgiving and praise!
Ephes. 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; (KJV) We are to give thanks in ALL things, for God works for our good IF we love Him and are called according to His purpose (Rom.8:28). Thank God, NOT for your problems, but for the strength He gives you to get through the bad times in your life. God’s perfect love will see you through.
Philip. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (KJV) Do you want to worry less? Then pray more! God’s peace is different from the world’s peace (John 14:27). True peace comes from God, and knowing that God is in control. Let God’s peace guard your heart against anxiety. Worry leads to doubt. Doubt leads to unbelief. Beware.
1 Thes. 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (KJV) In EVERYTHING give thanks! That means the vad and the good . . . for we will be blessed by God even in bad things (Rom.8:28). When the devil strikes us with evil, we can still thank God for His Presence and for the good that He will accomplish through the affliction.
Psalm 107:22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. (KJV) We should offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and joyfully tell others about His glorious acts.
Heb.13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (KJV) What sacrifices does God want from us? Praise and acts of service should be our sacrifices; ones we can offer anytime, anywhere! (Hosea 14:2). A “sacrifice of praise” includes thanking Christ for His sacrifice on the cross and telling others about it. Lovingkindness and obedience especially please God, even when they go unnoticed by others.
DO YOU THANK GOD FOR HIS BLESSINGS?

WHAT DO YOU SEE??
When you picture Jesus, in your mind,
Just what sort of image, do you find?
A Baby, Miracle Man or Teacher?
Saviour, Lord, Friend, Judge, or King grandeur?
Do you in a manger, a Baby find?
With His mother near; loving and kind?
He was a Baby; but is no more!
He’s our loving GOD, whom we should adore!
Do you in your mind, a Great Teacher see?
For He taught with superiority!
Or do you picture, a Miracle Man?
Healing multitudes, as ‘twas God’s plan!
Saviour on the Cross, who did redeem?
Lord, whom we should love, and highly esteem?
Or do you in your mind, see a Friend?
Who never forsakes; and is there to the end?
As the Mighty Judge, most will not see,
But, He will judge ALL; both you and me!
At the Judgment Seat, and Great White Throne,
At ONE of these you’ll stand; all alone!
Do you in your mind, see an awesome King?
Sovereign Ruler --- over ev’ry thing!
Our wondrous God, in true justice will reign,
For ever, His righteousness, will remain!
Our precious Jesus, we can always see,
But, our heart must be right; that’s the ‘key’!
We can see Him, in many diff’rent ways,
What we feel in our heart; our mind portrays!
