I’m
Nothing At All
Lord, without You, I’m nothing at all,
On my own Lord, I stumble and fall.
I need Your strength, I need Your pow’r,
I can’t go without You, not ev’n an hour.
I’m nothing at all, without You near,
Without You my life, is just doubt and fear.
I need Your love, to encourage me,
Just thru’ You, can I have victory.
I’m nothing at all, a branch so dead,
You are the Vine, thru’ You, I am fed.
Without You Lord, it’s as dark as night,
But You can make the darkest path bright.
I’m nothing at all, no wisdom have I,
You must equip me, and knowledge apply.
I’m but a fool, if You’re not by my side,
I’m nothing at all, if You don’t abide.
I’m nothing at all, I couldn’t go on,
Without You I’d be, the devil’s pawn.
Satan would bind me, in darkness deep,
Without You Lord, it’s Hell that I’d reap.
I thank You Jesus, for all You have done,
By Your death on the cross, new life I’ve won.
I’m nothing without You, please stay close by,
My love and trust for You, I’ll not deny.

John 15:5 I
am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in
him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do
nothing. (KJV)
Remaining in Christ
(abiding in Christ) means:
(1) Believing that He is God’s
Son. 1 John 4:15 Whosoever
shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him,
and he in God. (KJV)
(2) Receiving Him as Saviour and
Lord. John 1:12 But as many
as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name: (KJV)
(3) Doing what God says (obedience). 1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments
dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth
in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. (KJV)
(4) Continuing to believe the Gospel. 1 John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you,
which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard
from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in
the Son, and in the Father. (KJV)
(5) Loving other believers. John 15:12 This
is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. (KJV)
Many people try to be good, honest people and do what is right.
I know some unbelievers who live better moral lives than some ‘professing’
Christians (hypocrites). Jesus tells us that the only way to live
a truly good life is to stay close to Him. We are
simply branches, and unless we stay attached to the Vine, we can
do nothing! All our efforts, on our own (apart from Christ), will
be unfruitful. We must receive the nourishment and life offered
by Christ, the Vine. If we don’t, we are missing an extremely
special gift He has for us.
1 Cor. 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have
all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity,
I am nothing. (KJV) Without love, nothing in life will be what
they seem. Without love, our heavenly reward will fail (Mat.6:2).
WHERE do we get love? Jesus! We are nothing at all without Him!
The sooner we admit this fact, the better we are, because: Philip.
4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me. (KJV)
Rev. 3:17 Because
thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need
of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable,
and poor, and blind, and naked: (KJV) Self-sufficiency
is a very fatal danger!
Words of Wisdom
Misuse of one’s mouth is noticed by God and others.
When we do good to others, we do good to God.
No opportunity is ever lost. Someone else just grabs up what you miss.

I Know These Things
I know He loves me, and truly does care,
And is with me always, everywhere.
No mortal could e’er be such a friend.
He’ll be with me to my journey’s end.
I know He will never leave or forsake,
And He’ll stand by me, in my mistakes.
It’s such a comfort to know He’s near,
As He whispers to me “You need not fear.”
I know He loves me, for He cannot lie,
On His strength and wisdom, I can rely.
He forgives me when my sin I confess,
With His faithfulness, He does bless.
His grace is sufficient, for me always,
No matter the trouble of my days.
Pain or sickness, or deepest sorrow,
His love makes me see, a brighter tomorrow.
As I consider His great love for me,
He’ll be with me, thru’ eternity.
He prepares for me, a wondrous place,
And one day soon, I will see His Face.
As He sits on the Father’s right Hand,
He has power to control all the land.
Just He holds the key to Heav’n’s shore,
Where blissful delight will be in store.
As I wait for my mansion above,
I can envision His wondrous love.
I know all that He tells me is no lie,
And I know on Him I can fully rely.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(KJV) God showed how much He loved us by sending His only begotten
Son to die for us, even while we were still sinners. NO person has
this kind of love.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without
covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he
hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV)
Our lives should be free from the love of money. We should be satisfied
with what God has given us. For God has promised: “I will
never leave you; I will never abandon you.” What a comfort
this is!
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God,
that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (KJV) My
hope and joy in this life is knowing I have eternal life! God says
so! I believe Him!
2 Cor. 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace
is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me. (KJV) I don’t care
what your calamity is, the Lord can see you through it. BUT, you
must trust Him to do it.
John 14:2-3 In
my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go
and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you
unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV) In all my years of teaching the Bible, I have found that this
Passage is the most memorized and most loved. I especially like
this one too! 1 Peter 1:4 To an inheritance
incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved
in heaven for you, (KJV) Our “mansion” is “reserved”
for us. It has our name on it.
1 Peter 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and
is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being
made subject unto him. (KJV) After Jesus’ death and resurrection,
He ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right Hand of God the
Father who has turned all power over to Him (Mat.28:18). It is from
there that He intercedes for all “born
again” believers (John 1:12-13; 3:3;
1 John 2:1).
It amazes me that people refuse to turn to Jesus for salvation
of their soul. He does SO much for those who trust and obey Him.
SO many blessings belong to us!
Words of Wisdom
Faith is seeing what our eyes cannot see.
Faith is the only ‘ticket’ to Heaven.
Living for Jesus is the best way to live.

WHAT WE
HAVE IN CHRIST
A love that no one can understand,
We hold close in our heart, soul and hand.
A life in which we can never die,
When on our Saviour we do rely.
A righteousness that can’t be unclear,
It comes from Christ, and won’t disappear.
A peace that will never go away,
Given to us freely ev’ry day.
A rest that can never be discontent,
Blessings from Christ are never deficient.
A joy that will never discontinue,
For Christ’s joy remains in me and you.
A hope that can never be displac’d,
As we look to the day we see His Face.
A light within that will never dim,
It shines brightly as it comes from Him.
A happiness that can never be sad,
Contentment just from Christ can be had.
A strength that can never be frail,
The pow’r of Jesus will never fail.
A purity that can ne’er be defil’d,
Because Christ made us the Father’s child.
A wisdom that no one can confuse,
That thru’ this life on Earth, we can use.
We’re headed for Heav’n, where life ne’er ends,
We’ll live with our Saviour, Lord and Friend.
He will take care of us for e’er more,
For Christ has open’d for us Heav’n’s door.

John 3:15-18 That
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth
not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) The
“love”
that comes from God, to His children is beyond our comprehension.
This Passage expresses that love, and also tells us that it leads
us to eternal life in Heaven with Him. Hell is not an option for believers in Christ.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed
are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (KJV) We can NOT be pure in heart without Jesus!
1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification,
and redemption: (KJV) Only Jesus can give us these things!
Jesus is our Righteousness.
John 14:27 Peace
I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it
be afraid. (KJV) The peace that Jesus gives
us is a deep down feeling of comfort that won’t go away. This
world will NEVER know peace, without Jesus! His peace passes all
our understanding (Philip. 4:7).
Matthew 11:28-30 Come
unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give
you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am
meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
(KJV) Only Jesus can free us from the burden of sin, and all our
other burdens, He makes easier for us to bear. The rest that Jesus
promises is love, healing, and peace with God, not the end of all
labor or difficulties.
John 15:11 These
things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you,
and that your joy might be full. (KJV) To me,
“joy” and “hope” is knowing eternal life
is mine!
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God,
that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (KJV) God
promised us eternal life through Jesus, I believe Him!
God’s strength is always sufficient, no matter what (2 Cor.
12:9; Ephes. 3:16). We are made “pure”
and “right” only through Jesus (2 Cor.
5:21). And my friend, true happiness can be found
only in Jesus, if we persevere to the end (James 5:11). We are blessed
(1 Peter 2:9).
2 Cor. 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable
gift. (KJV)
Words of Wisdom
Worldly pleasure is ANYTHING that crowds Jesus out of your life.
Not only does happiness wait for us in Heaven, but there is great joy in our journey.
A child of God is always welcomed Home.
Prov.3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding. (KJV)

THE CRUCIFIED
Our eyes need a beacon, our tired feet a guide,
There’s One who qualifies; that is the Crucified!
We hunt for a meaning to all life’s mystery,
There’s One who can help; as He whispers: “Follow Me.”
There’s One who can comfort, in our deepest
pain,
‘Tis the One who died on the cross, that life we could attain!
There’s One who can make us, God the Father’s friend,
The Blood He shed on the cross, in God’s eyes makes amends!
Everyone needs a shoulder, on which they can cry,
A Place of comfort, to which we’ll never be denied!
There’s One available, whether it be day or night,
I can hear Him whisper: “I will make things bright!”
Our tired aching body, needs a place to rest,
There’s One who qualifies; He’s been thru’ ev’ry
test!
He offers peace and joy; we will never be denied,
There’s One well equipped; it is Christ, the Crucified!
There will come a time, when we hear Christ call
our name,
High in the clouds; this time glory, no more shame!
If we believe that on that cross, Christ for us died,
Our new bodies will be Heav’n bound, with the Crucified!

Words
of Wisdom
Love is a basket with 5 Loaves and 2 fishes.
It is never enough until you start giving it away. (Mat.14:17-21)
The true test of love is loyalty.
Love is, or should be, a natural instinct within
each of us. My description is: Love
is giving of self to benefit others. Isn’t
this a very accurate description of our Lord Jesus? Isn’t
that what He did while He was here on Earth? Didn’t He always
think of others? Shouldn’t we, as God’s children imitate
Jesus? Shouldn’t we love as He did?
John 10:11 I
am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the
sheep. (KJV) Jesus came to Earth not merely
to do a job the Father gave Him to do; He was committed to love
us and even die for us. False shepherds never make this commitment.
John 14:21 He
that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth
me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will
love him, and will manifest myself to him.
(KJV) Jesus said that His followers show their love for Him by obeying
Him. Love is much more than words. Love is making a sincere commitment
and being true to that responsibility. If you love Christ, you must
obey Him! He loved us enough to die for us! The least we can do
is love Him in return by trusting and obeying Him.
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,
or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] As it is written,
For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as
sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things we are more
than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded,
that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
I dearly love these verses. They prove to me that no matter what
happens to me, no matter where I am, the Crucified’s love
is ALWAYS there for me. Suffering does one of two things: it drives
us away from God, or it brings us closer to Him. When we realize
just how much God loves us, when suffering comes, we should run
TO God, not away from Him, for His love will reach us and heal us.
To me, these verses contain a tremendous comforting Promise from
God. We, as God’s children, and followers of Christ, are not
promised immunity from pain and suffering. What we are promised
is that He will never leave or forsake us, meaning He will walk
with us through our hardships. His ever abiding Presence is always
with us, no matter what. It is absolutely impossible for a TRUE
believer to be separated from Christ. His death for us is proof
of His steadfast love. NOTHING can take Christ’s constant
Presence from us (John 14:16). God tells us how great His love is
so that we can feel totally secure in Him. We need not be afraid
of unseen forces of evil in the universe, forces like Satan and
his fallen angels (Eph. 6:12). When we have Christ, the Crucified
on our side, we are super-conquerors, we can be victorious. The
love that our dear Lord, the Crucified, has for us will protect
us from any and all such forces.

Sowing Precious
Seed
God tells us in His Word, we should sow seed,
His children must obey; to His Word heed.
If we are His people, we must obey,
Serving willingly, as His love we portray.
As we live life, we are told what to sow,
Precious seed of the Gospel, from us must flow.
“Go ye therefore,” our Lord Jesus has told,
As we sow precious seed, we must be bold.
How we are to sow, His Word tells us too,
Our hearts must be soft and tender, me and you.
We must really care about the lost sheep,
As we sow seed, we must go forth and weep.
Beside all waters, is where we’re to sow,
Meaning to many people, we must go.
“Go ye therefore,” our Lord’s command this day,
If we are God’s true child, we must obey.
When should we sow? morn thru’ evening, always,
We should witness for Jesus, all our days.
We must go willingly, and sow precious seed,
For many lost souls, our Saviour they need!

Words of
Wisdom
God is patient
with our mistakes. He is longsuffering with our stumbles. He doesn’t
turn away when we struggle. He doesn’t get angry at our questions.
BUT . . . when we repeatedly reject His Message, when we are insensitive
to His pleadings, when He changes history itself to get our attention
and we still don’t listen, He will finally turn His back on
us as an individual and a nation.
Psalm 126:5-6 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. [6] He that goeth
forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again
with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. (KJV) Only God
has the ability to restore life that is far beyond our understanding.
Forests burn down, but He sees to it they grow back. Broken bones
heal. Even our worst grief is not permanent. Tears that we shed
in prayer for lost souls reach God’s ears. We don’t
pray for nothing. He can take a lost sinner and turn them into a
saved sinner! Don’t ever tire
of praying for lost souls! When we pray for them,
and take “precious seed” (the Gospel) to them,
miracles happen.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again,
not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever. (KJV) By means of the Word
of God, man receives the incorruptible seed of the Holy Spirit,
then, and only then can one become “born
again”. That is why it is SO important
for true believers to go ye therefore bearing precious seed.
2 Cor. 9:6 But this I say,
He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. (KJV) This
verse is speaking about giving to God. But what about sowing seed
(God’s Word) sparingly? What about refusing to go
ye therefore as we all are commanded? I know
that God watches us. I know that at times He is disappointed with
each and every believer, because we do not obey His wishes. His
will is not done in our lives. We need to sow abundantly, trying
our best to reach lost souls. Then and only then shall we reap His
blessings abundantly.
Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived;
God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also
reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap
corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit
reap life everlasting. (KJV) It would certainly be a surprise
if you planted corn and turnips came up. It’s a natural law
to reap what we sow. It’s true in other areas of our lives
as well. If you gossip about your friends, their friendship will
be lost. Every deed has results. If you plant just to please your
own desires, you’ll reap a crop of sorrow and evil. But, if
you plant to please God, you’ll reap joy and everlasting life.
What kind of seeds are you sowing? And, are you sowing any of the
“seeds” to change people’s hearts? Only the Word
of God can do that, and if you “profess” to be a “Christian”
you do NOT have an
option! A TRUE child of God is God’s only way of reaching
the lost in today’s world. You must “go
ye therefore.” If you don’t, for
whatever reason, it is doubtful that you yourself are saved.

CHRIST IS
AS NEAR . . . .
Christ is no stranger, in a place far away,
For He makes His Presence known, each single day.
He’s as close as the breeze, that caresses my face,
For I know that He’s near, by His amazing grace.
Christ is as near, as the dew on the grass,
Sparkling in the sunlight, as slowly I pass.
He’s as close as the wind, rustling in the trees,
For I know that He’s near, as my spirit He frees.
Christ is as near, as a snowflake when it falls,
His Presence ever near, when on Him I call.
He’s as close as the raindrops, falling on me,
For I know that He’s near, watching so closely.
Christ is as near, as the sand ‘tween my toes,
His Presence to my soul, makes comfort flow.
He’s as close as warm sunbeams, on a cold day,
For I know that He’s near, as He guides my way.
‘Tis an awesome privilege, to have Christ near,
And when I call on Him, He calms my fears.
‘Tis a wondrous blessing, we have each day,
For dear sweet Jesus, is just a teardrop away!

Words of Wisdom
You may go days on end without ever thinking of Him;
but there’s never a moment that goes by that He’s not thinking of you.
It’s good when you delight in the Lord . . .
but much better when the Lord delights in you.
Below are
some comforting verses that tell us of His Presence.
1 John 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son
of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. (KJV) All who believe
and boldly declare that Jesus is the Son of God, have the Spirit
of God living in them. He’s IN you! That is near!
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew
me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right
hand there are pleasures for evermore. (KJV) Christ Jesus will
show me the right way of life, and He gives me abundant joy, for
I feel His awesome Presence. When we walk with Him, we have everlasting
pleasure.
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
(KJV) Death can cast a frightening shadow over us because we are
entirely helpless in its presence. In life, we struggle with other
enemies: pain, suffering, disease, injury, etc. But, not our greatest
strength and courage can overcome death. It always has the final
word. Only one Person can walk with us through
death’s dark valley and bring us safely to the other side
. . . the one and only true God of life, our Shepherd, Jesus! If
we trust Him in life, He’ll see us through that dark scary
valley of death. Because life is so uncertain, we should follow
our Shepherd, who alone can offer us eternal comfort.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not;
for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen
thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right
hand of my righteousness. (KJV) One day God will bring all
His faithful people together. We never need to fear because:
- (1) God is with us (“I am with you”),
- (2) God has established a relationship with us
(“I am your God”), and
- (3) God assures us of His strength, help, and
victory over sin and death.
- Have you ever really considered just how many ways God has helped you?
- Have you ever thanked Him for His abiding Presence?
- Have you ever thanked Him for Jesus and the eternal life that He alone can bring to us?
Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest
through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (KJV) We all will encounter and pass through many rivers of difficulty
in our lifetime. These will either cause you to drown or make you
grow stronger. If you go in your own strength, you probably will
drown. But, if you ask the Lord to go with you, He will protect
you. We will also walk through fires of oppression, but Christ will
see to it we won’t be burned up.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation
be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:
for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV) How can be content? Learn to live with less rather than desiring
and lusting for more. Money and possessions will all pass away,
but the love of Jesus is eternal, and His Presence in life is wonderful. He will never leave us, never forsake
us if we love and trust Him.

ONE DAY
AT A TIME
No need to worry, with You so near,
For I have nothing at all to fear.
One day at a time, this I must learn,
For Your guidance, I truly must yearn.
One day at a time, and worry not,
Strength and wisdom from You must be sought.
We know not what tomorrow may bring,
But with Your Presence near, our heart can sing.
What comes next year, next month or next week,
We can’t control, but You we can seek.
Having faith in Christ, God’s only Son,
Live one day at a time, each a special one.
Things that worry us, might never be,
Much of our life’s stress, comes for worry.
One day at a time, is all we need to bear,
Trust in the Lord, He really does care.
Don’t worry ‘bout things, beyond your control.
But rather say, “It is well with my soul.”
Keep your eyes on Jesus, live for today,
Let Him guide you, each step of the way.
Worry can cause us to forfeit peace,
Don’t let fellowship with Christ ever cease.
Trust Him, you can live life so fine,
When you are living one day at a time.

God, who created life
in you can be trusted with the details of your life.
Mat. 6:26 Behold
the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor
gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye
not much better than they? (KJV) Worrying about
the future hinders your efforts for today.
Mat.6:27 Which
of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? (KJV) Worrying hurts more than it helps.
Mat. 6:28-30 And
why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field,
how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: [29] And yet
I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these. [30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of
the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven,
shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? (KJV) God never ignores those who love Him and depend on Him.
Mat. 6:31-32 Therefore
take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink?
or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? [32] (For after all these things
do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye
have need of all these things. (KJV) Worry
reveals a lack of faith in God.
Mat. 6:33 But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you. (KJV)
There are real challenges God wants us to pursue, and worrying keeps
us from them.
Mat. 6:34 Take
therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought
for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (KJV) Living one day at a time keeps us from
being consumed with worry.
- 1.Where
can I go when I feel down? To God in prayer.

YOU EXPEDITE
. . . .
When I feel low, and day’s dark as night,
Your love and comfort, you expedite.
Always there, in the blink of an eye,
When I’m in need, you never deny.
You expedite your wisdom and pow’r,
And it arrives, at just the right hour.
Your infinite love and compassion,
There for your children; you never shun.
When the world looks down on me in hate,
I recall that you too, had this fate.
When I try always to do what’s right,
Your wise, loving words, you expedite.
When Satan steps in with trials great,
You’re there; my heart and soul to elate.
Persecution may come, ev’ry day,
But your love you expedite and portray.
Your love and kindness, grace and mercy,
You expedite to the likes of me.
Without you Lord, I could not get by,
But you’re always there, and won’t deny!

Words of Wisdom
The success that turns your head, usually leaves you facing the wrong direction.
No opportunity is ever lost. Someone else just grabs up what you miss.
The secret of happiness is to count your blessings, while others are adding up their troubles.
Psalm 36:5 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;
and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. (KJV) God’s
mercy and faithfulness have no end!
Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God
is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good
thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (KJV)
Do you see the “key” here? We must walk uprightly, meaning
that IF we trust and obey Him, NO good thing will be kept back from
us. God has already given us the Best that He had . . . His precious
Son. WHY would He withhold anything else from us? And my friend,
He is NOT talking about worldly riches and possessions. He is talking
about spiritual things!
Psalm 103:11 For as the heaven
is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that
fear him. (KJV) To “fear” God is to reverence Him;
give Him His rightful place in our hearts; honor Him and praise
Him for who He is.
Ephes. 2:4 But God, who is rich
in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (KJV) God
dearly loves His born again children.
Romans 11:22 Behold therefore
the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity;
but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise
thou also shalt be cut off. (KJV) Because of their lack of
faith, some Jews were branches broken off the tree. Gentile believers
have been grafted into the tree. Both Jews and Gentiles share the
tree’s nourishment based on faith in God. Neither can depend
on heritage or culture or works for salvation. To continue in his
goodness means to have steadfast persistence in faith. Our steadfastness
is proof that our faith is real and true, and a by-product of salvation,
not a way to it. God is good to His children, but those who reject
Him have His Holy wrath awaiting them.
Romans 11:33 O the depth of the
riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable
are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! (KJV) God’s
method and means are far beyond our comprehension. God Himself is
never uncertain. He governs the universe and our lives in perfect
wisdom, justice, and love. How wonderful God is! His riches are
tremendous, and His wisdom and knowledge! It is absolutely impossible
for us to understand His decisions and His methods!
Acts 17:27 That they should seek
the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though
he be not far from every one of us: (KJV) God is NEVER far
from any of His TRUE children. NOT all people are God’s children.
God’s Way to His family is to believe Him and accept Jesus
as our Saviour and Lord. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me. (KJV)
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said
unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (KJV)
John 8:24 I
said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if
ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV) Jesus is the ONLY Way to become God’s
child! (John 1:12-13)

LORD, I NEED . . . .
Lord, I need vision, to understand and see,
Exactly what it is, You expect of me.
When trials and troubles come my way,
Increase my faith, that I may get thru’ the day.
Lord, I need wisdom, that I might truly know,
What it is, that You are trying to show.
When my burden, grows heavy with despair,
Let me see Your great love, and how much You care!
Lord, I need Your pow’r, to complete my task,
Let me understand; all I need do is ask!
When my body tires, and I feel so weak,
Let me know Your pow’r, is what I should seek.
Lord, of my many sins, I need forgiveness,
Just one of the many ways, that You bless!
When sin’s great load, lies heavy on my heart,
Let me feel Your mercy, and that sin depart!
Lord, I need Your patience as I live this day,
For many mistakes, I will make on the way!
When decisions come, and I make the wrong choice,
Let me feel Your compassion, that I might rejoice!
Lord, each day that I live, I need Your grace,
That I might not, the old devil embrace.
When Satan is there, with great temptation,
Let me remember, You are my Salvation!
Lord, I need oft’ hear, of Your grand Promise,
A “mansion” in Heav’n, that I will possess.
Lord, I want to live with You, eternally,
And only You, precious Jesus, hold the ‘key.’

Sometimes in life, we just can’t seem
to understand what it is that God expects
of us. And when trials and tribulations
come our way, our faith seems to go on the
back burner (on low). When this happens,
go to Him and ask: Please increase my faith.
Luke 17:5 And
the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase
our faith. (KJV) We
really need His help if we want to live
as He wants us to live.
When we need wisdom, it is
there for the asking! Your burden will seem
so much lighter.
Mat.11:28-30 Come unto
me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke
upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek
and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest
unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy,
and my burden is light.
(KJV)
Sometimes we get so physically
tired, that we are weak in our own strength.
We just can’t seem to go another foot,
let alone a mile. But power from our Creator
is very near.
Philip. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me. (KJV)
Have you ever felt so awful,
so guilty, because you did something you
knew was wrong? Nasty feeling, right? I’ve
been there! I know.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(KJV) Go to Him! Tell Him of your sin. He
already knows, but He wants you to admit
it and repent! Ask for forgiveness. His
forgiveness is 100% when we are sincere.
Sins are gone!
Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness,
and their sins and their iniquities will
I remember no more. (KJV)
My friend, we NEED God’s
amazing grace in our lives, or we cannot
live as He desires. Walk closely with the
Lord, trust and obey Him, and love Him and
those around you. Do unto others as you
would want them to do to you. All of us
fail in this at some time or another in
our lives, some of us more so than others.
Let us talk to the Lord each day and tell
Him our needs. Ask
Him to help, He will! He can make things
easier for us.
Words
of Wisdom
Confession is the key that opens the door to forgiveness.
Your search for forgiveness ends when you find Jesus.
Forgiveness is free. Have you accepted it?
Only Jesus can give you access to a “mansion” in Heaven

MY
REWARD
Serving You, Lord, on that street of gold,
My reward will be, Your Face to behold.
Being with You, is enough for me,
There’s no greater reward, in eternity.
Lord, let me serve You, for ever more,
As I live on Heav’n’s eternal shore.
No greater reward, could there be for me,
Than serving my Lord, eternally.
To be with my Lord, who for me died,
Reward for me, is with Him to abide.
I could never His great love repay,
My reward, to be with Him every day.
A reward I simply do not deserve,
My soul in Heav’n, You will preserve.
Abundantly each day, You bless me here,
‘Tis such a privilege, to know You’re near.
You shall grant a reward, for staying true,
A “rest” for me has been prepared by You.
An inheritance, that will never fade away,
Joint heirs with Christ, for eternity’s days.
‘Tis God’s good pleasure, this Gift to give,
Everlasting, is the life I shall live.
By our awesome God this is prepared,
A reward for His children, for He cares.
Is the reward of Heav’n waiting for you?
Believing God in faith, is what you do.
Only by faith can you ever succeed,
Blissful Heav’n awaits, when you take heed.

THE
CHRIST
In tiny Bethlehem, would be born our Lord,
This unique Baby, who would be adored.
To the throne of David, He would be heir,
One day He’ll bring peace on Earth, everywhere.
He was the Promised Seed of Abraham,
The only begotten Son, of the “I AM.”
From the tribe of Judah, He would descend,
This Awesome One, who would become, man’s best Friend.
Born in a barn, a manger for His bed,
As His virgin mother, stroked His sweet head.
Shepherds were watching their flocks that night,
When God’s glory, shone round them with great light.
A multitude of angels came suddenly,
Praising our Lord God of the heavenlies.
Highest glory to God, and peace on Earth,
Praising God and honoring Jesus’ birth.
What wondrous love God on us does bestow,
Such amazing grace to us He does show.
Christ came to Earth to die, for you and me,
So we all could have life, eternally.

Prophecies
and Fulfillments
Mi. 5:2; Mat. 2:1; . . . Is. 9:7; Mat. 1:18-25; ..
. Gen. 12:3; 18:18; . . . Acts 3:25; Gal. 3: 7-8,16, 26-28;
. . . Gen. 49:10; Luke 3:33; Mat. 1:2-3; . . . Is. 7:14; 11:1-2;
Luke 2:1-16; John 15:13.
Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem
Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be
ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old,
from everlasting. (KJV)
Matthew 2:1 Now when Jesus
was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, (KJV)
Genesis 18:18 Seeing that
Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and
all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? (KJV)
Acts 3:25 Ye are the children
of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our
fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the
kindreds of the earth be blessed. (KJV)
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the
Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall
conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (KJV)
Isaiah 11:1-2 And there
shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch
shall grow out of his roots: [2] And the spirit of the Lord
shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and
of the fear of the Lord; (KJV)
I lovprophecy.
To go back in the Old Testament and read what the prophets
said would happen, then go to the New Testament and see where
it has been fulfilled, to the letter . . . to me is amazing.
There is so much prophecy about Jesus, and He fulfilled it.
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham
and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to
seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is
Christ. (KJV)
We do NOT worship
a tiny, helpless Baby in a manger! We worship a MAN! That
Man is Christ Jesus. He came for the selected
reason . . . to die for us. He died on that cross that we
might live eternally in Heaven with Him one day. All who believe
this are childred of God. Only our faith in Christ can make
us God’s children, nothing else!
Galatians 3:26-27 For ye
are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. [27]
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have
put on Christ. (KJV)
John 1:12-13 But as many
as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which
were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor
of the will of man, but of God. (KJV) ONLY those who
believe Him and accept Him, does Jesus make the “sons
of God.” ONLY Christ Jesus has this awesome power
to make us chiildren of God. We are born again into the family
of God, and this rebirth comes ONLY from God.
Words

John 14:6 Jesus saith
unto him, I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by
me. (KJV)
