He Meets Me
He meets
me in the garden, when I go to pray,
Whether it be early dawn, or late in the day.
Always gives me words, to encourage and cheer,
I consider it a privilege, to have Him near!
He meets
me in the mountains, where I go to be alone,
His guidance is a blessing, for right roads to me are shown.
Always gives me enough light, that I may see,
The dark, foreboding paths, looming in front of me!
He meets
me in the crowd, when lonely I feel,
He makes me know, His friendship and love are real.
Always gives me great peace deep down in my heart,
Tenderly assuring, that He will never depart!
He meets
me in times of sorrow and distress,
Quietly confiding, that He will forever bless.
Always gives me comfort, and strength to go on,
O’ how I praise, God’s only begotten Son!
Jesus meets
me; any time, any place my friend,
With comforting assurance, that He’s there to the end!
Always gives me joy and contentment inside,
I consider it a privilege, to have Christ abide!
Do you ever meet Jesus in your time of need?
Do you gain His wisdom, before you proceed?
Do you ask for His pow’r, before you start your task?
Do you thank Him, as in His placid peace you bask?

Words
of Wisdom
Do you keep your eyes on Jesus? He never takes
His eyes off you!
Faith sees things that are completely out of sight.
The Bible protects, corrects and directs.
Time spent with the Lord is never time wasted.
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword? [36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day
long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded,
that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor
things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
Is there anything that
can ever separate us from Christ’s love? According to these verses, the
answer is no! He loves us when we have trouble or hardship, when we are persecuted,
or are hungry or cold or in any danger, or threatened with death. In spite of
all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loves us.
We, like Paul, can be convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love.
Death can’t, and life can’t; God’s good angels won’t,
and Satan’s demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about
tomorrow, even the powers of Hell can’t keep God’s love away from
us. NOTHING in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of
God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
When we know in our heart and soul just how much God loves us, we are blessed
beyond what words can describe. When we go to Him in prayer, whether it be in
the beauty of a lovely garden, the solitude of the mountains, the roar of a
crowd, in sorrow or distress, any where, any place . . . we have the deep seated
peace within us knowing He will hear our prayer, and will answer us. There is
NO wrong place to pray! When we go to Him in prayer, He will always meet us
where ever we are! And He will always give us abounding love, sufficient grace,
abundant strength, ample wisdom, and do it with great comfort and encouragement.
When we need His help, or peace or joy or assurance; He will never let His children
down, ever!
Do you really appreciate
all that God does for you? Do you honestly consider all the blessings that He
bestows upon you, day after day? Do you realize just who it is that loves us
so much? It is Almighty God, the Creator of the universe! I don’t know
about you, but when I think of these things, I feel so unworthy, that this awesome
Being takes the time to “meet me” any where! But He does! Praise
Him! Thank Him always!
Thank Him For Everything!!

JESUS,
MY LIGHT
Christ Jesus
is to me, a great Light,
Making dark pathways, brilliant and bright.
His radiance warms me, and cheers my days,
My world glistens, from His wondrous rays.
The Light
of Jesus, will never go out,
We must keep our faith, and never doubt.
When our faith falters, our path grows dim,
Trust Christ, and glory shall beam from Him.
His brilliant
Light, will always glow,
Luminescence from Him, continues to flow.
Ev’ry time our path, seems dark and sad,
Strength and Light from Jesus can be had!
Gleaming brightly in the darkest night,
The Light of Jesus, calms our ev’ry plight.
His precious Light guides me to Heav’n above,
The Light of Jesus, is absolute love!

Words of Wisdom
Judgment is that moment when God looks at the continual rebellion
of an unbeliever and says: “Your choice will be honored.”
You
may go days on end without ever thinking of Him; but there’s never a moment
that goes by that He’s not thinking of you.
We
rejoice at our successes. He rejoices at our confessions.
Light in the
Bible is always associated with God and good, and darkness with Satan and evil.
Light is the result of a divine command (Gen.1:3).Light illustrates the glorious
inheritance of the redeemed (Col. 1:12; Rev. 21:23-25). God is said to dwell
in light inaccessible (1 Tim. 6:16).Light often displays instruction (Mat.5:16;
John 5:35). But, in its highest sense, light is applied to Christ as the “Sun
of righteousness” (Mal. 4:2; Luke 2:32; John 1:7-9). God is called “the
Father of lights” (James 1:17). Light is used in reference to angels (2
Cor. 11:14), and of John the Baptist, who was a “burning and a shining
light” (John 5:35). Light has to do with all true disciples, who are called
“the light of the world” (Mat.5:14).
We must have light, or we will stumble around like a blind person in a strange
place. Jesus is the Light of this world, but so many are groping around as if
it were midnight on a dark night.
John
1:6-8 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. [7] The
same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through
him might believe. [8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of
that Light. (KJV) John the Baptist was sent by God to lead people out of
the darkness (sin and evil) and to Jesus (Light and eternal salvation). Today
we no longer have John the Baptist, but we do have God’s Holy Word! And
we do still have a few people who are teaching the Truth of the Bible, and not
some watered down doctrine that goes along with cults. Many today say “It’s
OK to live in sin. Times have changed. Homosexual and lesbian activity is OK.
God loves everyone. Even some of the so-called evangelical seminaries are siding
with gays. Gay clergy is being accepted as normal by most people.
Has
God changed? My friend, God NEVER changes. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect
gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is
no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (KJV) Also see Mal.3:6. God
brought the Flood when people refused to turn from their sin. God completely
destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sin. God still hates sin! He always
will.
Jesus is
truly the Light of the world. Without Him, people are in great darkness. Only
Jesus can make dark paths bright. Without His Light, we would fall over the
cliff to destruction. Without Jesus’ radiance, our days would really be
gloomy. His Light increases our faith and makes it stronger by casting away
our doubts. His glorious light beams down on our path when we trust Him. His
Light can never be extinguished! It will continue to flow from Him to us, day
after day. Should your path ever seem dark or sad; strength, comfort and Light
from Him is always available to His faithful ones.
Jesus is truly awesome! Absolutely amazing! There is nothing He cannot do! And
the best part, He promises “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Let us learn to be content with such things as we have (Heb.13:5), for if we
have Jesus, we really have all that we need (Mat.6:8, 25-34; Heb.4:1; Phil.
4:19). We should always turn to God first for help, filling our thoughts with
His desires, taking on His character. Serve and obey Him in everything. Don’t
let people, objects, goals, etc., bump God out of first place.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the
strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (KJV)

FROM
CALVARY
Such lonely
cries He made, from Calvary,
Not ev’n one did aid, in His agony!
What He did suffer, is beyond compare,
Yet most don’t think of this; worse, they don’t care!
He suffered
beatings beyond belief,
Not one other person, had that much grief.
He looked for comforters; yet He found none,
Didn’t they realize, this was God’s Son?
He was despised,
and rejected of men,
A Man of sorrows; the world did condemn.
Stricken, afflicted, and smitten of God,
He cried from Calvary, for the world abroad.
He carried
our sorrows, and bore our griefs,
And not ev’n the Father, gave Him relief!
The Lord laid on Him, our iniquity,
An ultimate price, to set our soul free!
Full of
heaviness; reproach broke His Heart,
Their insults and mocking, would not depart.
They then pierced both, His Feet and Hands,
They crucified Him! He died for all lands!
His sinless
soul was an off’ring for sin,
Only thru’ CHRIST, can salvation begin!
God’s Righteous Servant justifies many,
For He has borne, all our iniquity!

Psalm
22:6-8 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised
of the people. [7] All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the
lip, they shake the head saying, [8] He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver
him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. (KJV) Contempt and
ridicule were His that day!
Psalm
22:16-18 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked
have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. [17] I may tell all my
bones: they look and stare upon me. [18] They part my garments among them, and
cast lots upon my vesture. (KJV) Our Saviour was beaten so badly that His
bones were exposed!
Psalm
69:7-9 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered
my face. [8] I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's
children. [9] For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches
of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. (KJV) His brothers turned
away.
Psalm
69:20-21 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness:
and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters,
but I found none. [21] They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst
they gave me vinegar to drink. (KJV) All fled! Not one gave Him comfort!
Isaiah
53:1-12 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of
the Lord revealed? [2] For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and
as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall
see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. [3] He is despised and
rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as
it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. [4] Surely
he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted. [5] But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity
of us all. [7] He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his
mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers
is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. [8] He was taken from prison and from
judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the
land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. [9]
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because
he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. [10] Yet it pleased
the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul
an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the
pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. [11] He shall see of the travail
of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant
justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. [12] Therefore will I divide
him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong;
because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the
transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. (KJV) Our loving Saviour suffered willingly for us that day!
Acts
2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge
of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: (KJV)
Thank You Lord!

WHY DO YOU PUT UP WITH
ME?
My Lord,
why do You put up with me?
I’m filled with sin and iniquity.
A sinner, from the day I was born,
Precious Lord, for my sin, I do mourn.
I’d
understand, if You’d turn away,
But You promise, to be with me alway.
This humble sinner, to You does turn,
And for Your loving grace, I do yearn.
There are
many things I do, I should not do,
Yet my old nature, goes barging thru’.
Many things I say, I should not say,
Your mournful servant, sins ev’ry day.
Things that
I should do, I do not do,
Ev’n tho’ I try, to keep my mind on You.
A grieving sinner, before You stands,
My heart and my life, are in Your Hands.
You do put
up with a lot from me,
So awesome is Your grace and mercy.
Forgiveness I ask, from You each day,
You ne’er refuse, but forgive alway.
I’m
a wretched sinner, deliver me,
I want out of sin’s captivity.
Present within me, is wickedness,
Lord help me instead, to have blessedness.
On my own, I can do nothing at all,
On my own, I’d have, such a great fall.
Just with You Lord, can I have victory,
A mansion in Heav’n, eternally.
Thank You
Lord Jesus, for ev’ry thing,
Thank You for all Your wondrous blessings.
Thank You for Your wisdom, pow’r, and grace,
Thank You that one day, I will see Your Face!

Romans 7:18-19,
24-25 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no
good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is
good I find not. [19] For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which
I would not, that I do.
[24] O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
[25] I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself
serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (KJV) We ALL sin!
But when we are born again we then are sorry and mourn (Mat.5:4) for what we
do wrong; where as before, we really did not care when we sinned. There are
many things we all do to displease God! Read what Paul wrote of himself in Romans
7:14-25. We ALL will sin, until we receive our new bodies (1 Cor. 15:42-44).
Psalm 58:3 The
wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born,
speaking lies. (KJV) We ALL are sinners (wicked) until we accept Jesus!
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (KJV) We are
right in God’s eyes only when Christ’s righteousness is applied
to us (1 Cor.1:30).
Romans 3:23 For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV) ALL people are
sinners! NO one is exempt! There are two classes of sinners: saved sinners and
unsaved sinners. Which category are you in? ONLY Jesus can place you into the
“saved” category (John 3:15-16; 5:24; 8:24; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 John
5:10-12).
Ephes. 1:6-7 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted
in the beloved. [7] In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness
of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (KJV) God graciously accepts
us (although none of us deserve it) when we trust and obey His dearly beloved
Son (John 3:15-18).
1 John 1:8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not
in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) When we repent
(turn from) and confess our sin, God will forgive us because of Jesus! He will
not refuse to forgive us.
John 15:5 I
am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
(KJV) Do you really appreciate Jesus? Do you thank Him for all He has done for
you? He alone is our wisdom, pow’r, and grace; and He alone has the key
to Heaven’s gate! Without Jesus in your heart and life, the agony of Hell
awaits. Praise Him! Thank Him! Tell Him how much He means to you. Thank Him
for all He has done for you. He really loves you! If you don’t know Jesus,
don’t wait any longer!

What
If God's Blessings Were Not Free?
On God’s
blessings, what would the price be?
If God were to charge, you and me.
Could we afford, to pay for His love?
That He so graciously sends, from above.
Could we
buy peace? or have to pass by?
For on our money, we couldn’t rely.
What about grace? how much would you pay?
For God’s sufficiency, ev’ry day.
The joy
in your life, how much is it worth?
Consider this, as you walk this Earth.
Being content, as you live your life,
Would be expensive, for it removes strife.
What about
hope, how much would it be?
As you contemplate, eternity.
And what about salvation, of your soul?
Saving money, would have to be your goal.
Isn’t
God good to us, ev’ry day?
For NONE of His blessings, do we have to pay!
He doesn’t charge for His love, it’s free!
And His grace abounds, abundantly!
Peace and
joy come when Christ we accept,
God gives them freely, to His elect!
Contentment comes when the Spirit abides,
When the door of our heart, we open wide.
Because of Christ, God forgives all our sins,
Just thru’ Christ, can God’s friendship we win.
We now have hope, that wasn’t there before,
Salvation is ours! and so much more!

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (KJV) God revealed His grace for the salvation of all people. God gives us the
power and wisdom to live according to His will when we trust and obey His Son,
and open our heart and life to Him. We can look forward to Christ’s return
with eager expectation and hope. It all starts with our faith!
Ephes. 2:8 For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift
of God: (KJV) Do you see what else this marvelous verse says? The grace
of God is a GIFT! My friend, even faith is a gift! (Heb.12:2). Have you ever
thought about all the blessings of God? Because our salvation and even our faith
are gifts, we should respond with gratitude, praise, and joy. Have you thanked
Him today?
Psalm 68:19 Blessed
be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. (KJV) There is never a day goes by that God does not bless His children in some
way! And there is NEVER any charge!
PEACE! John 14:27 Peace I leave with
you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. [KJV]
JOY! John 15:11 These things have
I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might
be full. (KJV)
HOPE! Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot
lie, promised before the world began; (KJV)
CONTENTMENT! 1 Tim. 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
(KJV)
FORGIVENESS! Ephes. 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (KJV)
GOD’S
LOVE; JUSTIFICATION; BEING GOD’S FRIEND! Romans
5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified
by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we
were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more,
being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (KJV)
I have simply scratched
the surface. God’s blessings to His children (John 1:12-13) are never
ending and abundant, and they ALL are absolutely FREE! We do not have to scrimp
and save to pay for them, neither do we have to work for them; He simply grants
His blessings as GIFTS to us because of our faith and trust in Jesus. If we
love, trust and obey Jesus, the Father loves us!

JUST
ONE
Just one
love, as special as Thine,
A love that I do claim as mine.
Just one peace, that I can’t understand,
A peace deep within, O so grand.
Just one
life, just one death on the cross,
Freely You died, didn’t count it loss.
Such great kindness, such tremendous love,
These things could just come, from Heav’n above.
Just one
Saviour, who shed His precious Blood,
He redeemed us, with that wondrous Flood.
Just one awesome grace, that set us free,
Loving grace that cleansed, our iniquity.
Just one
Master, who leads and guides,
Giving us His Spirit to abide.
Just one precious Lord, whom we should serve,
This wondrous Lord, whom we don’t deserve.
Just one hope, that You give to me,
Hope of living, eternally.
Just one mansion, in Heav’n above,
Prepared by You, Lord, in such great love.
Just one
narrow road, to travel on,
When our journey to Heav’n, is begun.
Just one Light, to brighten our path,
Jesus’ Light, will keep us from God’s wrath.
Just one
Way, to be God’s friend,
Just one Lord who can make amends.
Just one sincere faith, can justify,
We must believe, and on Christ rely.
Just one
God said: I will never leave,
And to this one God, we can cleave.
Just one God alone, loves us so,
From this God alone, do blessings flow.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his

really is special love!
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,

peace!
Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they

1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things,

and without spot: (KJV) A Saviour who cannot
be matched in any way.
John 14:15-16 If ye love me, keep my commandments. [16]
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he
may abide with you for ever; (KJV) A

His Spirit is such an asset to me.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is
the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there
be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) Just ONE narrow road that leads to Heaven! All
roads do NOT lead to Heaven. Just
Jesus!
John 14:6 Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) Just
ONE Way! Just Jesus!
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore
being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
[2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and
rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV) Just
our faith makes us right with God.
Romans 5:10 For
if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (KJV) Just
one way to be God’s friend.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to
God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him. (KJV) Just ONE God, who demands
our faith in Him and His Son. Blessings come from Him, only when we believe.

TREASURES
Just where are all
your treasures today?
Here on Earth? or headed Heav’n’s way?
Where your treasure is, your heart also will be,
We must truly consider, eternity.
We must consider
spiritual treasure,
Not always our physical pleasure.
Knowledge of the Lord, is a wise thing,
It can make you, a child of the King.
Purity, honor and
righteousness,
Are favored by God, and He will bless.
Heirs of Almighty God, we can be,
Build on the Rock, you’ll have victory.
We must count all
things loss, ‘cept the Lord,
We must put Him first, He must be ador’d.
Everything else must be set aside,
In our dear Saviour, we must abide.
We must ponder the
riches of His grace,
If we want to see, His splendid Face.
What do you consider treasure this day?
Worldly things, or Heav’n’s blissful array?
God’s children
are with Jesus, joint heirs,
Nothing on Earth, with this can compare.
The fear of the Lord shall be my treasure,
Day after day, He is my Pleasure.
In Christ are hid all treasures indeed,
We need only the Gospel to heed.
Christ should be valued highly by you,
He alone should be our treasure true.

Proverbs 8:18 Riches
and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. (KJV)
I have riches, honor, lasting wealth and righteousness because of my faith in
Christ.
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
(KJV)
It is only the Lord’s blessing that makes us rich.
Isaiah 33:6 And
wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation:
the fear of the Lord is his treasure. (KJV) Only Jesus is the firm foundation
of your future. Salvation through Christ brings great riches of wisdom and knowledge.
Reverence of the Lord is our best treasure.
Matthew 6:20-21 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through
nor steal: [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
(KJV) We should seriously consider storing up treasures for ourselves in Heaven.
Moths and rust cannot destroy anything there, and thieves won’t ever be
able to break in and steal anything of yours there. Remember, your heart will
be where your treasure is.
2 Cor. 4:18 While
we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:
for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen
are eternal. (KJV) Things that we can see here on Earth, are only temporary.
Heavenly things last forever.
Philip. 3:8 Yea
doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge
of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and
do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, (KJV) Everything else should be worthless when you compare it with the priceless gain of knowing
Christ Jesus my Lord. Everything else should be thrown out as garbage, so that
we may have Christ.
Col. 2:3 In
whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (KJV) Jesus is
the Key that opens all the hidden treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge.
(And He’s the Key to Heaven!)
1 Tim. 6:19 Laying
up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that
they may lay hold on eternal life. (KJV) What an amazing Treasure we have
in Jesus. He alone is the Good Foundation for the future. With Him alone, can
we understand what life really is.
James 2:5 Hearken,
my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith,
and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
(KJV) It is easy to be deceived by the temporary benefits of fame, fortune,
position, possessions and power. We must not be blind to the long-range benefits
of God’s Kingdom. Faith helps us look beyond the world’s value system
to see the eternal values of God’s kingdom.
Mark 8:36 For
what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul? (KJV) A world of pleasure, possessions, position,
or power in eternity will be worthless. All earthly treasure is temporary; and
cannot be exchanged for your soul. NO person can ever buy their way out of Hell!
You must decide in this life where you will spend eternity. Please consider
this very seriously.

QUESTIONS
TO THINK ABOUT
Is your
life ablaze, with God’s Holy pow’r?
Does your light shine brightly, hour after hour?
Do you tell others, what Jesus can do?
Do you His lost sheep, intently pursue?
Do you willingly
serve Jesus, the King?
Do you each and ev’ry day, His praises sing?
Do you thank Him for blessings He bestows?
At His precious Name, does your soul glow?
Do you have
Christ’s peace, way deep down inside?
Does His own Spirit, within you abide?
Does your heart rejoice, ev’ry single day?
The hope you possess; do you proudly display?
Do you really
consider Christ, your Lord?
Are you steadfast, in studying His Word?
Do you truly believe, and trust Him always?
The commandments He gives; do you obey?
When God takes you, will you go to Heaven?
Will a reserv’d mansion, to you be given?
Do you know that Christ is the only way,
To enter the bliss of Heaven someday?

Words of Wisdom
Look where you are going, because you will end up going where you are looking.
It’s not necessary to blow out the other person’s light, in order for your own light to shine.
1 Thes. 5:19 Quench
not the Spirit. (KJV) Believers often hinder their growth in grace, by
not allowing the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts and lives. Mark 16:15 And
he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature. (KJV) If you are a
born again believer, Jesus is speaking to you here! “Go ye” is NOT
an option, it is a command! We all are responsible to go and tell of Jesus to
the lost souls out there. Luke 12:43 Blessed
is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
(KJV) Jesus promises a reward for those who serve Him willingly and faithfully.
Our heavenly rewards will be the accurate reflection of what we have done on
Earth, and they will be far greater than we can imagine. Hebrews 13:15 By
him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that
is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (KJV) A “sacrifice
of praise” would include thanking Christ for His sacrifice on the cross
and telling others about it. Philip. 2:10 That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things
in earth, and things under the earth; (KJV) We can choose to accept and
embrace Jesus as our Lord now; with our heart and soul willingly bowing to Him
in loving commitment, OR be forced to acknowledge Him as Lord when He returns.
Christ may return at any moment. Are you prepared to meet him? At the last judgment
ALL people will recognize Jesus’ authority and bow to Him. Romans 8:9 But
ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
(KJV) If you do not have the Spirit of Christ living in you, you are not a Christian. John 14:27 Peace
I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I
unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
(KJV) The end result of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives is deep and
lasting peace. This peace is confident assurance in any circumstance. With Christ’s
peace, we have no need to fear the present or the future. Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus
said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This
is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all
the law and the prophets. (KJV) These are the commandments
that Jesus gave to us . . . LOVE, LOVE!!!
John 14:2 In
my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you. (KJV) Are you
going to Heaven?

FOOTSTEPS
of JESUS
The footsteps of Jesus, we should
follow,
Tho’ they may lead us thru’ pain or sorrow.
To please God, we must imitate our Lord,
We must follow Him, in willing accord.
We must have perfect trust in
God, by faith,
Imitate Jesus, with our ev’ry breath.
Follow the footsteps of Jesus, ev’ry hour,
And He will bless us, with His mighty pow’r.
Hatred and malice, we must put
away,
Think only good, righteous thoughts, ev’ry day.
Following Jesus, may not be easy,
But our end will be, life eternally.
Following His footsteps, will
teach us love,
And it will lead, to Heaven above.
Jesus loved us with love, great and true,
We must imitate Jesus, me and you.
Following His footsteps, will
make us meek,
The humility of Christ, we must seek.
Tho’ He was God, He was Servant of all,
If we humble ourselves, one day we’ll stand tall.
Following His footsteps, means
we must obey,
His commands are clear, like a sunny day.
Love God with our all, and each other too,
And tell the Good News, that saved you.
In following His footsteps, pray’r is a must,
In time alone with Him, we learn to trust.
Imitate Jesus, for pray’r gives great pow’r,
So talk to God, ev’n in your darkest hour.

John 13:13-15 Ye call me Master and Lord: and
ye say well; for so I am. [14] If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed
your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. [15] For I have given
you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
(KJV) Jesus was God, but when He came to Earth as Man, He was the model Servant,
and He showed His servant attitude to His disciples. Washing people’s
feet was a job for a household servant to do when guests arrived. But Jesus
wrapped a towel around His waist, like the most humble servant would do, and
He washed and dried His disciples’ feet.
If Jesus, God in the flesh, was willing to serve, we as His
followers must also be willing to serve in any way that glorifies God. Are
you willing to imitate Jesus? Are you willing to follow Christ’s example
of serving? There is a special blessing for those who imitate the humble service
of Christ.
John 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if
ye do them. (KJV)
Seeing his Master
behave like a slave must have really confused Peter. He still did not understand
Jesus’ teaching that to lead, a person must serve. Many leaders today
find it hard to serve those beneath them. Jesus’ goal was to extend
His mission on Earth after He was gone. The disciples were to go into the
world serving God, serving each other, and serving all people to whom
they took the message of salvation.
Jesus’ goal
not only included the men to which He spoke that day; but reached down through
the years to us! IF we are not willing to serve others, we really are NOT
worthy of Him, because He served others!
Matthew
10:37-38 He that loveth father
or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter
more than me is not worthy of me. [38] And he that taketh not his cross, and
followeth after me, is not worthy of me. (KJV) To take
our cross and follow Jesus means to be willing to publicly take a stand with
Him, imitate Him and follow Him no matter what! Jesus must come first in our
life!
Col. 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto
all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge
of God; (KJV) 1 Thes. 2:12 That ye would walk worthy
of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. (KJV) To walk
worthy is to willingly follow Jesus’ footsteps and imitate Him in your
life.
Words of Wisdom
Our sacrifice is the true measure of our willingness and generosity.
God’s work done in God’s way never lacks supply or equipment.
The future KING is our present companion and Friend!
God’s Presence with us is one of His greatest presents to us.

I’M NOT WORTHY
Lord, I’m not worthy of your royal grace,
Yet all my evil sins you do erase!
All because I have trusted your dear Son,
Your undeserved kindness I have won!
Lord, of your compassion, I’m not worthy,
Yet my awesome God has pity on me!
All because Christ Jesus I did accept,
In troubles or sorrow you will protect!
I’m not worthy of your patience that endures,
You tolerate my sins when Satan lures.
All because Christ’s precious Blood justifies,
Jesus’ righteousness you’ll never deny.
I’m not worthy of all your forgiveness,
Yet you cast my sins away, as you bless.
All because Jesus paid the total price,
He died on the Cross, the supreme Sacrifice!
I’m not worthy of your amazing mercy,
Yet your blessings stream so abundantly.
All because I’m renewed by Christ’s Spirit,
And Him I obey, and my life submit.
I’m not worthy of your enormous love,
Yet it pours liberally from above!
All because I have trusted your dear Son,
Eternal life in heaven, I have won!

God’s Grace
2 Cor. 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient
for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore
will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon
me. (KJV)
Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest
any man should boast. (KJV)
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should
be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (KJV)
God’s Compassion
Psalm 86:15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion,
and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. (KJV)
Micah 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion
upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins
into the depths of the sea. (KJV)
God’s Patience
Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant
you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: (KJV)
Psalm 86:15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion,
and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. (KJV)
God’s Forgiveness
Matthew 6:14-15 For if
ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father
forgive your trespasses. (KJV)
Ephes. 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (KJV)
God’s Mercy
Ephes. 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great
love wherewith he loved us, (KJV)
Psalm 103:8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to
anger, and plenteous in mercy. (KJV)
God’s Love
John 3:16 For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love
of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto
us. (KJV)
Words of Wisdom
God uses our down time to build us up.
No day is dark when you live in the Light of Jesus.
God doesn’t ask us to bear tomorrow’s burdens with today’s strength.

The Hiding
Place was written by Corrie ten Boom, and in it she tells of an incident that
taught her she should always be thankful. She and her sister, Betsy, had just
been transferred to the worst German prison camp they had seen yet, Ravensbruck.
When they entered the barracks, they found the situation extremely overcrowded
and the place was crawling with fleas. That morning, their Scripture reading
was in 1 Thessalonians 5, reminding them to rejoice always, pray constantly,
and give thanks in all circumstances.
1 Thes. 5:16-18 Rejoice evermore. [17] Pray without ceasing.
[18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you. (KJV)
Betsy told Corrie to thank the Lord for every detail of their new living quarters.
At first, Corrie flatly refused to give thanks for the fleas, but Betsy persisted,
and Corrie finally yielded to her pleadings.
During the
months they spent at the camp, they were surprised to find how easily they could
hold Bible study and prayer meetings without any guard interference. It was
not until several months later that they learned the reason the guards would
not enter the barracks . . . it was because of the fleas.
We too as
believers, should rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing, and in every thing
give thanks. We can do this if we simply claim just one of the thousands of
Promises that God so graciously makes to us.
Romans
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (KJV)
This Promise is for believers only! No matter what happens in our life, no matter
how bad it is, the end result will benefit us in some way. Please, always remember
this! God will never leave or forsake His own people!
Words of Wisdom
Have you ever considered this: only the smaller
birds sing? An eagle, a turkey, egret or ostrich never sing a note! But from
a canary, wren, mocking bird, whippoorwill and lark, come very sweet music.
The
sweetest music comes from those Christians who are small in their own eyes as
they serve the Lord. (1 Cor.1:25-31)

ABOVE
AND BEYOND
Above and
beyond, Christ Jesus did go,
Enduring great pain, as He suffered so.
By God the Father, our Saviour was sent,
Willingly He came, and to the cross He went.
Above and
beyond, is Christ’s love for us,
All God’s children, to Him are precious.
Loving us, guiding us, each day anew,
Christ Jesus looks after, God’s chosen few.
Above and
beyond, Christ goes for me and you,
With an awesome love, that’s forever true.
He will never leave, He will not forsake,
If a commitment to Him, we will make.
As I do
consider my life this day,
Do I love Him enough? Do I obey?
Do I go above and beyond, for my Lord?
Or do I turn my back, on Him and His Word?
Above and
beyond, NO! I do not go,
I fall so short, causing Christ sorrow.
I must love Him more, with my heart, soul and mind,
Then vast treasures of blessings, I will find.
Lord, help me go above and beyond for You,
Help me be less selfish, more loving too.
Let me serve You, with ne’er a thought of me,
As I walk the narrow road to eternity.

John 10:15 As the Father
knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
(KJV) Jesus laid down His life for the sheep! How inspiring this is! This is
the riches and the poverty of “the Word made flesh,” (John 1:14)
this is one glorious Person reaching at the same time, up to the Throne and
down to the dust of death, “that we might live through Him” (1 John
4:9).
Have you ever really considered just what Jesus did for us (the sheep)? He
actually did go above and beyond for us! He did NOT have to leave the comfort
and peace of Heaven (as God), to come to Earth (as Man). He surrendered His
divinity when He agreed to come to Earth. He knew exactly what would take place.
He knew He would suffer, bleed and die a horrendous death on the cross. Yet,
He came! If this isn’t above and beyond anything, anyone else has ever
done for mankind, I don’t know what is.
A.W. Tozer wrote, “The footprints of the obedient sheep is always found
within the larger footprint of the shepherd.” Unlike sheep-herding in
the United States, the Oriental shepherd knew each of his sheep by name. He
did not drive the sheep, instead he led them, and they followed in his footsteps. John 10:4 And when he putteth
forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they
know his voice. (KJV)
Matthew 11:29-30 Take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your
souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
(KJV) A yoke is a heavy wooden harness that fits over the shoulders of an ox
or oxen. It is attached to something that the oxen pull. People may
carry heavy burdens of sin, oppression, persecution, or weariness as they search
for God. Jesus can free people from all burdens. The rest that Jesus promises
is love, healing, and peace with God, it is NOT the end of all labor.
Take my yoke upon you . . . this is the yoke of submission to Jesus. When we
submit to Jesus, we learn of Him! And we find rest for our souls. He went above
and beyond in His life on Earth for us, so we could experience this wonderful
peace and joy in our lives, both here on Earth and in eternity. The rest which
our soul experiences when we are safe in Christ, makes all our yokes easy, and
all our burdens light.
Words of Wisdom
The Bible is a great Artist. It paints a picture
of who we REALLY are.
We think too much of ourselves when we think too little of God.
Living without faith in Jesus is like driving in thick fog.
Life’s darkest path can never dim the light of God’s love.
With God on our side, we are never outnumbered.
