DO YOU DO TO OTHERS?
Do you speak cross words, when you could be nice?
Do you always take, and never sacrifice?
Those that you love, do you tell them you care?
Or do you go thru’ life, like they were not there?
Our life here on Earth is so very brief,
We should try our best, not to cause folks grief!
Do only what you would want done to you,
A good rule to live by; proven and true!
We don’t know when God will call us away,
Neither those we love; time we cannot sway.
Please guard the words you say, and deeds you do,
Or you may regret, in days that ensue!
If we treat a loved one mean and low,
Thru’ hateful words or deeds, causing sorrow,
What if God would call that person away?
Could you bear the guilt, the rest of your days?
We all need to take a look at our life,
Do we bring happiness? Or cause much strife?
Do and say to others only nice things,
You’ll reap what you sow, for that’s what life brings!
Have you hurt or injured someone you love?
It’s easy, in this world of push and shove!
Apologize, make their hurt go away,
Friend, you’ll be blessed, as you go your way!

(1 Chros.29:15; Jam.3:5-6; 4:14; Mat.7:12; Gal.6:7; 2 Cor.6:7; 1 John 3:7)
At this time of year when we all make New Year’s resolutions, perhaps we should consider this one.
Mat. 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. [KJV] I have honestly been trying to live like this. I must also honestly say that there are times I slip and fall, and cause grief to loved ones. If we would only do our utmost best to “do unto others” we would not do or say anything mean and hateful and ugly; because we do not want anyone doing or saying those awful things to us. To “do unto others” is to live in love; and love fulfills all the law and the prophets!
Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. (KJV) Don't just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate everything that is wicked and wrong. Always hold close what is good.
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (KJV) All the commandments are all summed up in this one commandment: "Love your neighbor as yourself." In this upcoming year, let us truly love God with ALL our heart, soul, strength and mind, and love our neighbor as our self (Mt.22:36-40) Life here on Earth would be so much better for everyone!

MUCH MORE PRECIOUS
Much more precious than bright diamonds,
Is Christ’s love for us, that does abound!
Love so gracious, merciful and true,
Such precious love, we can’t misconstrue.
Much more precious than a grand ruby,
Is Christ’s love, that brought us victory!
Sin and Satan no longer control,
For Christ our Saviour, has saved our soul!
Much more precious than possessions galore,
Knowing one day we’ll stand on Heav’n’s shore!
To live for e’er with Jesus so dear,
With never a heartache, pain nor fear!
Much more precious than earthly power,
Is Christ’s awesome love, that’s there ev’ry hour!
His grace and love and mercy unending,
There for us always, strongly defending.
Much more precious that treasures untold,
His love is more precious than fine gold!
Christ is so wondrous, so true; I’m at a loss,
He loved us so much, He died on the Cross!

February is supposedly the ‘month of love’, but as God’s children, shouldn’t every day be a ‘day of love’?
At Valentine’s Day, we pause to honor (in a special way) those whom we love; and most of us never even think of Christ Jesus’ love for us! We should show our love for others each and every day that we live, by actions, by our attitudes and by the words that we say. But much more important, we should always remember the love Christ Jesus has for us. It is truly “Much more precious” than any amount of riches you can accumulate, any possible possession, or any treasure you can imagine! These things are of the world, and will be gone some day, but the love our Saviour has for us will continue on as long as we are here on Earth, and into eternity. My friend, that is FOREVER!
Matthew 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (KJV) What do you consider more precious? Earthly riches? Or the precious love of
Jesus? Please do consider these questions with eternity in mind. Most assuredly, there is life beyond the grave!
Eph. 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. [KJV]

Our Lord Jesus means something different to each and every person. For me, He is indeed “My Everything”! He was so patient waiting for me to open my heart’s door. I am eternally grateful to Him, for without Him, I would have ended up in Hell! But praise be to our Almighty Saviour, I will spend eternity with Him in blissful Heaven! He is worth much more than diamonds or rubies or gold or silver or earthly power or fame. There is absolutely NO earthly possession that can outshine Jesus! John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (KJV) John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. (KJV) Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (KJV) John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (KJV) Philip. 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, (KJV) John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV)
IS JESUS YOUR EVERYTHING?

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS
We must start at the foot of the Cross,
For our soul’s in danger, we’re at loss.
And when we kneel in that awesome place,
At that very moment, you’ll feel God’s grace.
Friend, let me tell you; you need to know,
There is Heaven; also Hell below!
Christ died on that Cross, to set you free,
From your vile sins, and Hell’s agony.
You’re God’s enemy, without the Cross,
Reject Christ, and to God, you are dross.
To the prison of Hell, He will send,
Just Christ’s work on the Cross, makes amends.
God hates those who try to enter in
The gates of Heaven, still full of sin.
Only His Son, can take sin away,
Go to the foot of the Cross, this day.
God has provided only ONE Way,
To enter Heaven’s wondrous array.
Accept what Jesus did for us all,
He paid our debt, so Hell won’t befall.
Go to the foot of the Cross this day,
His precious Blood washes sin away.
We each need to think more of His Cross,
Without our Saviour, we’re total loss.

Pro.13:13; 1 P.1:18-19)
This time of year is NOT a time for Easter bunnies and fancy clothes! This is the time we need to remember that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, that He might make us ‘right’ in God’s eyes. He paid a debt He didn’t owe, because we had a debt we couldn’t pay! (Author unknown). He suffered and bled and died (according to Scriptures). That was HIS part of OUR salvation! So . . . what is OUR part? We must BELIEVE God by faith that His Way is the only Way! Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV) It is absolutely impossible to please God without faith! (Heb.11:6). Eternal life is a GIFT from God (Rom.6:23). We have redemption ONLY through the precious Blood of Jesus (Eph.1:7). We must be ever so careful NOT to trample under foot that precious and Holy Blood of our Saviour and Lord (Heb.10:29). Anyone who wants access to Heaven must humble themselves at the Cross of Christ Jesus! He is the ONLY Way to get to God, and Heaven (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). If you do not know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, turn to Him now.
THERE IS NO GREATER GIFT THAN ETERNAL LIFE

NOTHING YOU OR I CAN DO
I know there is nothing I can do,
To earn salvation, by my virtue.
It is a gift, by the grace of God,
Thru’ faith in Jesus, the world abroad.
There is nothing I can do, I know,
My best would place me in Hell below.
Only Christ alone, holds Heaven’s key,
Just He can give life, eternally.
Without Jesus, we’re God’s enemy,
Dark Hell would be our final decree.
There is nothing, we could ever do,
All our works, God would curse, or beshrew.
Nothing that we do, or say, or try,
Can ever in God’s eyes, justify.
Just Christ’s precious Blood can reconcile,
All our efforts, will only defile.
Jesus did it all, for us, back then,
On the Cross, He paid for the sins of men.
There is nothing you or I can do,
Just accept by faith, His love so true.

(Ep.2:8-9; Jn.3:15-18; Ro.5:9-10; 1 P.1:18-19;Jam.4:4; Phil.3:18;Col.1:21)
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (KJV) God saved us, NOT because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins and placed us into the family of God. When a person becomes a Christian, he/she acknowledges Christ as Lord; and recognizes and accepts Christ’s Work on the cross. We gain eternal life and all its spiritual treasures (peace, joy, love, forgiveness, hope of life in Heaven, to name a few). We are renewed by the Holy Spirit, and He continually renews our hearts. NONE of this happens because we earned or deserved it. It is an unequaled GIFT from God! All three Persons of the Trinity participate in the work of salvation. Based on the redemptive Work of His Son, the Father forgives and sends the Holy Spirit to wash away our sins and renew and revive us. We are delivered out of our miserable condition (Tit.3:3; Eph.2:1-3; Gal. 5:19-21; Mark 7:20-23), only by the mercy and free grace of God, the merit and sufferings of Christ, and the Holy Spirit working in us. God the Father is God our Saviour. He is the Fountainhead from which the Holy Spirit flows: to teach, regenerate, and save His lost ones, and this blessing comes to us ONLY through Christ Jesus, God’s Son. NOTHING that we can do or say or try without Jesus, can ever save us! The kindness and love of God toward us cannot be put into words! God’s love and grace, through His Spirit, grants us great power to chance, and turn our heart to God. Faith alone saves, but the faith that saves is not alone! AFTER a person is saved, faith is THEN accompanied by works (doing). BUT . . . until a person is saved, NO good works you could ever do will save you. ONLY faith in Jesus saves you; believing God!
DON’T TRY TO WORK YOUR WAY TO HEAVEN, CHRIST ALREADY DID ALL THE WORK!

ALL FOR THE LIKES OF ME
You left Heaven’s most splendid glory,
And came to Earth, for the likes of me.
You gave up comfort, for grief and pain,
That sinful me, might have eternal gain.
You left the beauty of Heaven above,
And came to man’s evil, all in love.
Tremendous sorrow and agony,
You did go thru’, for the likes of me.
You left Heaven, as great God and King,
And came to Earth, with simply nothing.
You became a humble Servant here,
For the likes of me, that I might not fear.
You left all of the Heavenly hosts,
Came to the sin, of the earthly coasts.
You left the praise and glory above,
And came down to the likes of me, in love.
You left it all; and here had no home,
Left riches; and in poverty, did roam.
Was not accepted, or recognized,
For the likes of me; ‘tis hard to surmise.
Wonderful Jesus, Saviour and Lord,
Died on the Cross, as told in your Word.
All done in great love, given so free,
To take sin away, from the likes of me.

God remembered us in our low, sinful estate (Ps.136:23). The One who inhabits eternity, whose Name is Holy (Isa.57:15), left His high and holy place where He was God and King; came to Earth and was born of a poor and humble virgin . . . in a barn! God’s Son condescended, all for the likes of me, AND you! Why did He come? Because God devised a Plan, before the foundation of the world (Eph.1:4-14), to save sinful mankind. “A” Plan . . . NOT many plans! His Plan was Christ coming, just as the Old Testament said He would. Humbling Himself . . . from Almighty God . . . to Suffering Servant . . . all for the likes of me, and you! Willing and obedient, to death on the cross, all for the likes of me, and you! What a wonderful, caring, compassionate and loving Saviour we have! I am so grateful that God loved us so much to make a Way possible for us to enter Heaven, His sending His one and only Son to rescue and redeem us. I am so grateful that Jesus loved us so much that He came, even though He knew exactly what was ahead for Him! I am so grateful for His wondrous grace and mercy that is available to ALL who will believe!
Don’t turn your back on Him! He’s there, all for the likes of you!

A LOST, FRUITLESS DAY
As on my bed, I contemplate,
Did Jesus, my actions dominate?
Did I cheer someone along the way?
Or has this been a lost, fruitless day?
As I consider so carefully,
Did I speak cross words, or words friendly?
In hours past, did I imitate Him?
Or is His Face sad, and stern, and grim?
As I examine the now past day,
Is someone happier, I came their way?
Was I kind and loving like my Lord?
Or did I do things on my own accord?
As I ponder o’er the day now done,
Did I disappoint my Lord, God’s Son?
Does one rejoice that I came their way?
Or has this been a lost, fruitless day?
Loving each other; have mercy too,
Grant comfort and kindness; great virtues!
Soft friendly words lift hopes that were low,
Imitate Jesus; pure love do show.

(Mt.22:39; Jn.13:35; 15:10-12; 14:15,23; Ep.3:17;
Ro.12:9; 1 Thes.3:12; 1 P.1:22; 1 Jn.4:7)
The fruits of the Spirit (Gal5:22-23) Eph5:9; Jam.3:17-18) are gracious dispositions, attitudes and habits which the Spirit produces in whom He dwells and works. God’s message hasn’t changed since the Old Testament . . . people will be judged for their unproductive lives. God wants us to be active in our obedience. To be productive for God, we must obey His teachings, resist temptation, actively serve and help others, and share our faith. If Christians (fruit bearing trees), do not bring forth good fruit (fruits fit for repentance Mat.3:8), what good are we in God’s eyes? If they are not fit for fruit, they are fit for the fire. All barren trees will be hewn down and cast into the fire of God’s wrath, the best place for barren trees. What else are they good for? Jesus cursed the fig tree. Why? Was this a thoughtless, angry act? Or was it an acted-out parable? Jesus was showing His anger at religion without substance (so common today). The fig tree (symbol of Israel) looked good from a distance, but had no fruit (Mat.21:19). Fruitful in appearance only, Israel was spiritually barren. What about us as Christians? Do we look good from a distance, yet in reality produce no fruit for God? Do we profess to be Christians, yet have not the love of Christ in our hearts? Do we put on an outward show for those around us, yet in truth we are nothing like our lives show.Gal.5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (KJV) If we as Christians are filled (controlled and led) by the Holy Spirit, we will produce these fruits, and we will be pleasing in God’s sight.
Do you produce fruit for God?

God Talks
God talks to our hearts, and tells us what to say,
God talks to our minds, each and every day.
God talks to our friends, to keep them aware,
God talks to our children, keeping them in His care.
God talks to our crops, so they may grow,
God talks to the wind, telling it to blow.
God talks to the fish, in the deep blue sea,
God talks to the birds, telling them they’re free.
God talks to our hearts, each and every day,
God talks to our minds, showing us the way.

Poem written by: Breezy Huseman
1 Kings 19:11-12 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: [12] And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. (KJV) (Other references: Gen,3:8; Ps.29:4; Eze.43:2; Ias.30:30; Mat.17:5; John 28:29) “A still small voice” how I love that! God talks to us in many ways, as Breezy so beautifully states in her poem. Why is it that so many of us will not listen to God’s still small voice? Why do we disobey so that He then has to really get our attention? I’m not picking on YOU, I’m speaking for ME! God does talk to our hearts, He does tell us what to say! He also talks to our minds, every single day. He talks to our children, trying to keep them from bad things. What about our crops? All God would have to do is say: “Stop growing,” and they would! He talks to the wind; telling it to be a soft gentle breeze, or . . . IF He is angry, a hurricane or tornado, etc. God also talks to the fish. What comes to mind are the salmon. How could they possibly know to go upstream to the spawning grounds if He did not tell them? What about the birds? Does He not tell them winter is coming, and send them south? And how do they know which direction is south? God does indeed talk to us and all His other creatures! What a wonderful and caring God we have! He loves us. He really cares about us, or He wouldn’t take the time to “talk to us.” He only wants what is best for us. He wants us to take only right roads. He wants us to say only right words. He wants us to love Him and each other. His children come in many colors, races, ages, dispositions, all walks of life, etc. We are to love ALL His children . . . no matter who they are, or what they have done in the past. When we turn to Jesus to save us, God forgives us! Please listen when you hear that “still small voice” so God won’t have to shout (or worse) to you. God will get your attention, one way or another, a gentle breeze, or tornado. Which do you want?
Do you LISTEN when God talks top you?

LITTLE TALKS WITH JESUS
Little talks with Jesus, makes a better day,
For He’ll guide and direct, in all the right ways.
Things just fall apart, without those little talks,
But when you talk to Him, He’ll grace your daily walk.
Little talks with Jesus, help heal a broken heart,
Soon your pain and sorrow, just seem to depart.
Your mourning time eases, tears dry up and leave,
But each time you forget Him, your soul does grieve.
Little talks with Jesus, chases away all fear,
So quickly He comes; for He is always near.
Gently and softly, in such a loving tone,
He whispers so sweetly, “You’re never alone.”
Little talks with Jesus, relieves my heavy heart,
He forgives and helps me from sin to depart.
A wondrous Saviour, paid a ransom for my soul
My Lord, and my Friend; and He has made me whole.
Little talks with Jesus, while I wait for Him to come,
He grants peace and joy, as I wait to go Home.
He’s preparing ‘mansions’, where one day I’ll be,
Then, Face to face, He’ll have daily talks with me!

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV) Ephes. 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. (KJV) Ephes. 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (KJV) JESUS IS GOD!!! We can go to Him any time of the day or night! We can talk to God the Father, by petitioning our prayers in the Name of Jesus (John 14:13), or we can speak directly to Jesus (John 14:14). What an awesome privilege God’s children have! God the Father, or Jesus, will hear our prayers, whereas those who do not know Jesus as Saviour and Lord, God will NOT hear! (John 9:31; Deut.31:18; Pro.15:29; Isa.59:2). Sins separate us from God. If you are not washed in the Blood of Jesus, God will turn His Back on you. He will NOT listen! But, once you realize you are a sinner and accept what Jesus has done for you, God will NEVER turn His back on you. God and Jesus will hear all that you wish to say! We can talk to Jesus about ant situation that arises. There are times that I don’t go to Jesus what I have ‘just a little problem.’ I think that I can handle it myself, but then that little problem snow-balls, and it becomes a catastrophe. We should take even our smallest concerns to Him. He wants to hear from us, no matter how small we think it is. We are God’s children. He loves us! He wants to help us, and He will help us, but He wants us to ask! Philip. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (KJV) Be careful means don’t worry! We need to talk to Him about our troubles, as we talk to our physical fathers (Mat.7:7-11). Little talks with Jesus most certainly does make a much better day. Don’t forget to thank Him!
Peace, beyond words, shall be yours, through Jesus! (Phil.4:7).

HIS TEARS
Each time we do evil, His Heart breaks,
Many tears He shed at our mistakes.
He wants us to love him, and obey,
But it’s sad; for His tears flow each day.
As a loving Father; He wants to bless,
With His mercy, and lovingkindness!
Many times we stray, and displease Him ,
And his tears come, and His eyes grow dim!
How many times do you make Him weep?
As evil and wickedness you do heap?
Don’t you think that He feels great sadness?
Wouldn’t you rather give Him gladness?
Ev’ry one, of wrongdoing is guilty,
Only Jesus can give us victory!
We should strive to obey, and keep Him dear,
Instead, we make Him sad, and bring His tears!
Ev’ry time that we sin; His tears flow,
We remove His gladness; giving sorrow.
From His Heart come compassion and grace,
He forgives, and all our sins does erase!

The soul that sins is ALWAYS conscience that his sin is: #1 vile and polluting, and #2 that it rightly and justly deserves punishment from a right and just God. Therefore sin carries with it two undeniable characters: #1 guilt, and #2 pollution. The moral character of our actions is determined by the moral state of our heart. Whatever is in your heart will eventually come out. Your heart will absolutely reveal the TRUE you! You may be able to hide your true feelings from people around you, for a long time, but you CANNOT ever hide anything from God! Our will to sin, or the habit of the soul that leads to a sinful act, is itself also sin. Romans 6:12-13 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. [13] Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. (KJV) James 1:14-16 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. [16] Do not err, my beloved brethren. (KJV) The “death” in this verse is eternal death. The Bible clearly states there are three kinds of death: #1 Physical death (Jam.2:26). #2 Spiritual death, which is separation from God, unbelievers (Eph.2:1; 1 Tim.5:6). #3 Eternal death, which is eternal separation from God (John 8:24; 2 Thes. 1:8-9; Rev.21:8).
The origin of sin is a mystery (to us), and will remain that way. For some reason, God has permitted sin to enter the world, but, His allowing it in NO way makes God the author of sin. When we sin, we grieve God (Eph.4:30), Our sins today, break God’s heart as much as sin did in Noah’s day. Genesis 6:9-b . . . . Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. (KJV) What a tremendous testimony! But, even though Noah pleased God, he was FAR from perfect! We can follow Noah’s example and find “favor” in the eyes of the Lord” in spite of the sin that surrounds us, When the rest of the world was wicked, Nosh kept his integrity. He was a just man, that is, justified before God . . . by FAITH! God looks DOWN upon those with an eye of favor, who sincerely look UP to Him with an eye of faith. We as God’s children walk by faith, not sight (2 Cor.5:7), and our faith is NOT blind! We walk in the perfect LIGHT of our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus!
God’s mercies are tender, streaming from a fountain that can never be exhausted. If we truly hate sin, as transgressing the Law of God, and breaking His Word, we will do our utmost best NOT to grieve His heart, and NOT bring tears to His eyes! Our loving and willing obedience is very pleasing to God. Shouldn’t we give our Heavenly Father, and our Saviour, pleasure and joy by being obedient, rather than grieve their hearts and bring tears to their eyes by stubbornness and sinfulness? The choice lies within each of us! Will you please God? Or will you give in to the devil and your desires?
Do YOU cause His tears to flow?

WHEN I NEED HIM MOST
When I need Him most, He’s close by,
And He won’t ever, my call deny.
There’s not a reason to be afraid,
He’s there to grant me His divine aid.
When my trials are great, He is there,
I just need to go, to Him in prayer.
There to help, in the blink of an eye,
Offering assistance from on High.
He gives rest in days of adversity,
He can remove, our calamity.
A mighty God, so wondrous and true,
There to assist me; and also you.
When trouble surrounds me, on ev’ry side,
I must not forget, in Him to abide.
A moment away, when troubles abound,
God, to His children, is easily found.
I need Him most, so oft’ when I’m down,
He’s always willing; never a frown.
I can’t praise enough, our Creator,
Just He alone, does my soul adore.

Philip. 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV) 1 Tim. 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. (KJV) We can be sure that God will always meet our needs. Whatever we need on Earth, God will always supply, even if it is the courage to face death as Paul did. We must remember there is a difference between wants and needs, Most people want to feel good, avoid discomfort or pain, and have all that the Joneses have. We may not always get all that we want. But, by trusting in Christ, our attitudes and appetites change drastically; from craving for things of the world, to trusting Him and accepting His provision and power to live for Him. Let us pray for patient, willing submission and hope when we are depressed, and for humility and a heavenly state of mind when we feel ‘on top of the world.’ We should always trust God and His all-wise judgment, and not take a wrong course of action to supply our own needs (wants). When prosperous times come, we should not feel a sense of pride, security and self-worth. This is a hard lesson to learn, for we are tempted more often in times of fullness and prosperity than in times of hardship and want. We need to thank Him for all the blessings that He bestows upon us, day after day, year after year. We need to count our blessings, naming them one by one, and we will certainly see all that the Lord has done for us. We absolutely should thank Him for His constant watch care over us, for He is always there, even in our darkest hour. When we need Him most, He will come through for us, every single time. Trust Him for your every need, and remember: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (KJV) God works in ALL things . . . not just some things . . . for our good! Does this mean that ALL that happens to us is good? NO! Evil prevails in our fallen world, but God is able to turn every circumstance around for our long-range good! We must hang in there and trust Him in faith, knowing in our hearts that He will come through for us. Does God work to make us happy? NO! He works to fulfill HIS purpose! This Promise is NOT for everybody. Only those who love God and are called according to His purpose can claim this amazing Promise! So . . . just who are the called? It is those who listen to the Holy Spirit when He tries to convince them to receive Christ. It is these people (TRUE Christians, God’s children John 1:12) that have a new outlook on life. They trust in God, not what this world has to offer. They store up treasures in Heaven, not on Earth. By trusting God in faith, they learn to accept, not resent any pain and persecution because they KNOW God is with them always, but especially, “when they need Him most.”

BELIEF IS A MIRACLE
Belief can be a miracle, true,
A miracle, that can happen to you.
It can change your life spectacularly,
Belief gives you life, eternally!
Believing God can erase all sins,
A miracle; that with faith, begins!
We are justified, by Christ’s precious Blood,
‘Not Guilty’ in Heav’n, by this wondrous Flood!
Belief; a miracle, that sanctifies,
By trusting His Word, that never lies!
Set apart to serve our awesome Lord,
Spreading the Gospel set forth in His Word!
Belief; a miracle, that gives a new heart,
A ‘new’ creature, with a brand new start.
Children of God, and with Christ joint heirs,
One day the bliss of Heav’n with God we’ll share.
Believing is a miracle; true,
This miracle can happen to you!
Receiving Jesus makes you God’s child,
From Hell, you will always be exiled!
Salvation is a ‘Gift’ God gives to you,
A miracle; reserved for a ‘few’.
But most, by unbelief walk away,
From the greatest miracle to come our way!

Jn.1:12-13; 3:15-18; Ro.5:1-10; 6:4; 7:6; 8:14,17; Jn.17:17; 1 Cor.1:30; 2 Cor.5:17; 6:18; Ep.4:24; 5:26; Tit.3:7; 1 P.1:2; Heb.13:12; Eze.11:19;1 Jn.3:1
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (KJV) Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (KJV) John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
I think these verses tell us just how much of a “miracle” salvation really is! God always says it best! Belief makes us God’s children. John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (KJV) We really are His children! All because of Jesus, and His willing obedience to God. At this time of year, we especially need to remember just how fortunate we really are! Thank God for devising a Plan to save us, Thank Jesus for coming from Heaven all those years ago, to a life of poverty, servitude, suffering and death; to save our souls from an eternal Hell. Thank the Holy Spirit for His work within us. Thank God for a “miracle” true!
When someone disregards or spurns the love of another, it grieves and soul of the one who loves. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV) Can you imagine just how grievous it is to God when people reject His Son? Not only does our God love us, but He longs for us to return that love to Him. Have you ever truly considered that the very Creator of the Universe loves us? To really know God is to love Him. 1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (KJV) But . . . just HOW MUCH do we love God? HOW MUCH time do we spend meditating on His Holy Word, His love, His greatness, His awesome power, His Person and His Son?
The first and greatest Commandment to the Jews was to love God, with their all. Deut. 6:5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (KJV)
The first and greatest Commandment given to the church by Christ Jesus is to love God with our all. Matthew 22:36-39 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? [37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (KJV) Obedience to this Command should be a joy and privilege. not a burden. Yet, many seek only the blessings and gifts that God offers, and miss out on the truly amazing Gift; that being the Giver! Fellowship with our Creator is an unquestionable “Miracle” to say the least! And when we love God and believe Him, He grants us tremendous blessings that those who refuse to believe CANNOT achieve!
Belief truly is a MIRACLE!!!
