I FALL SHORT
Help me to be who you want me to be,
For I fall short and do displease thee.
Let your Spirit guide as I wake each morn.
In days of quiet, or troubling storms.
My faults are many, and oft’ I do sin,
I pray for strength this great battle to win.
It seems I keep trying to go astray,
May I submit completely to you this day.
So very often Lord, you I do fail,
I want to do well, but Satan prevails.
Lord, let me resist him that he may flee,
I know submission to you is the ‘key’.
Lord, on my own I am utterly weak,
I have no power, and you I must seek.
On your Holy Spirit I must depend,
You, O Lord, I do not want to offend.
I want to please you, help me obey,
Let me love and serve you ev’ry day.
Let me love with actions, not just words,
Grant love, mercy and kindness, like my Lord.

As we begin yet another new year, perhaps we shouls examine ourselves according to God’s standards. Do you “fall far short” as I do? We as His children do displease Him when we go astray (1 Pet.2:25). We ALL sin, and “fall short” of the glory of God (Rom.3:23). We as God’s children, are blessed FAR above those who do not know Jesus! We have the Holy Spirit abiding within us, and He is there “for ever” (Rom.8:9; John 14:16; 2 John 2). His job is to guide and direct us, to teach and comfort us, and so much more! Without God, we can do “nothing” (John 15:5); but WITH Him, we can do ALL things (Phil.4:13). Let us learn to allow the Holy Spirit to do His job, each and every day. Our lives would be a lot easier, and we would not displease God. God’s power, through His Holy Spirit, is available to ALL believers, NOT just a selected few. But the question is: do you let the Holy Spirit lead and direct you in your daily life? This tremendous power of God is there for us. What a shame we don’t take advantage of it as we should!
Life is a “gift” FROM God. How we live it is our “gift” TO God!

On The Wings of Love
On the wings of love, God sent His Son,
That eternal life, thru’ Him might be won.
His love so great, so pure. and so true,
He sheds on the world, both me and you.
On the wings of love, our Saviour came,
Knowing He’d have agony, and shame.
God condescended, for you and me,
To pay our debt, and set our soul free,
On the wings of love, Christ Jesus died,
He was tortured, and then crucified.
But our Lord arose; He is alive,
God the Father, with pow’r, did revive!
On the wings of love, Christ did ascend,
To God’s right Hand, where us, He defends!
Christ is our Lord, Friend, and Advocate,
And because of Him, Heav’n is our fate!

Jer.31:3; John 3:15-18; Rom.5:8; Eph.2:4-5; 1 John 2:1; 3:1; 4:9;
Mark 16:19; 1 Pet.3:22; John 14:2-3
I guess the “world” considers February the “love” month. We as Christians (God’s children), should not set aside one month (really one day), for love. Jesus said: Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. (KJV) This is the “Golden Rule.” Jesus says it covers
the whole Old Testament (Law and the Prophets). ALL the Law is fulfilled in one word, and that word is LOVE! (Gal.5:14). If we follow this rule, we would NEVER hurt anyone, ever! Jesus gave us two commandments. Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? [37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (KJV)
We as TRUE Christians, MUST love!!! It is a Command, NOT an option! 1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (KJV) We are permitted to ‘hate’ only the things that God hates: SIN, wickedness, evil, etc. We must not hate our brothers and sisters in Christ, or God states that we are a “murderer.” 1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. (KJV) VERY STRONG LANGUAGE!!
In the Greek language, there are three words for our one word ‘love.’ Agape, phileo, and eros. We are to love with the kind of love that God has. It shows kindness, patience, compassion, meekness, etc. We are not only to SAY we love . . . we are to show it (Jam.1:22). God’s love is called agape love. We CANNOT produce this kind of love (Rom.7:18). It is one of the “fruits of the Spirit” (Gal.5:22-23). It is produced ONLY by God’s Holy Spirit which abides in us. Phileo love is brotherly love, affection; for family and friends. It is human love in its highest form. The third form of love is eros. We know it as passion, lust, sex. When the world thinks of love, this is generally of what they think. When I say world, I am speaking of those who do not know Christ as their Saviour.
Agape love involves our heart, mind and will. God’s love is sacrificial; one of action; it puts you into motion. You won’t ever run out of love. God’s Spirit keeps replacing it. The more you give, the more you will have. Love is like a basket with five loaves and two fishes (Mat.14:17). It is never enough until you start giving it away. Let us ask God for abundant love, and let us not be selfish with it.

I HAVE OVERCOME
I have overcome, by Jesus’ Blood,
That flow’d from the Cross, that precious Flood.
Praise be to my Saviour, true and pure,
Of eternal life, I am assured!
All believers overcome by faith,
Victory thru’ Jesus; no second death!
All who overcome, rewards receive,
Giv’n by God, because Him we believe.
Of the “tree of life” one day we’ll eat,
No one will hunger, ‘twill be so sweet.
From a pure river of water of life,
No one will thirst, no one will have strife.
Overcomers will have robes of righteousness,
Just thru’ Christ do we have this success.
We must have these ‘robes’ to enter Heav’n,
Only thru’ Christ are these garments giv’n.
All those who overcome, Heav’n awaits,
Just Jesus has the key to Heav’n’s gate.
Only Jesus can get you inside,
Where for eternity you’ll abide.

Rev.2:7,17,26; 3:5,12,18,21; 12:11; 19:8-9; 20:14; 21:7; Mt.22:11; 1 Jn.2:13; 4:4; 5:4-5; Jn.14:2-3)
Just what does it mean to “overcome”? God’s Word has the answer. 1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (KJV) When we “overcome” we have attained victory; victory through Jesus! The word “victory” is often used by God’s children; yet it appears only six times in the New Testament. We have a great enemy . . . ungodly influences in the world (1 John 2:15). Who is in control of the world? None other than Satan! He is the “prince of the power of the air” (Eph.2:2). Our Lord Jesus called him “the prince of this world” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11). Satan has unbelievable powers. You, or I, CANNOT overcome Satan without Jesus! We must believe, in faith, what God has said in His Word about His only begotten Son (John 3:15-18,36; 1 John 5:10-12). If we want to spend eternity in Heaven, with our Lord, we must have victory! We must “overcome.” If we choose to try on our own power, we shall spend eternity in Hell. Believe God! Trust Jesus now!

THE CHRIST OF CALV’RY’S ROAD?
Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
The Christ that carried that heavy load?
Weary, stagg’ring; with head bowed low,
A Man acquainted with grief and sorrow.
Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
The Christ that left His Heav’nly abode?
He condescended for you and me,
Paid our debt, and set our sinful soul free.
Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
The Christ from whom that precious Blood flow’d?
He was despis’d; we esteem’d Him not,
Yet our very souls, this Christ, has bought.
Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
He can help carry your greatest load.
Only this Christ can grant peace and rest,
Joy you will have; for you will be blest!
Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s way?
If not, He cries out, to you today!
This Christ can grant eternal life above,
Heav’n will be yours, by His wondrous love!

(Ps.22:1-18; 69:4,7-9,20-21; Is.50:6; 52:13-14; Is.ch.53; Mt.7:13-14)
God, our Saviour and Lord, Jesus the Christ, came to Earth to save our souls from eternal Hell. He paid a debt he did not owe, because we had a debt we could never pay! He left Heaven, knowing full well what was in store for Him here, yet He loved us so much, He came! He was beaten almost recognition. He was spit upon, ridiculed, they pulled out His beard, made a “crown” of horrendous thorns. He was tortured! The agony that He suffered, for us, cannot be put into words. Then, He was nailed to that cross. Why was this necessary? How is it possible for a Holy God to receive vile sinners without violating His righteousness and justice? The answer is found in: Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (KJV) . . . when I see the blood, I will pass over you. . . . IF and when we accept Christ, and what He did for us on that cross, we are washed in the Blood of Jesus! We are clean, in God’s eyes! (Isa.1:18; Eph.1:7; 5:25-26). We have redemption through His Blood! We have forgiveness of sins! We have eternal life in Heaven . . . NOW (John 5:24; 6:40). IF we just BELIEVE what God states about His Son (1 John 5:10-12), our mansion (John 14:2-3) awaits us in Heaven, and it has been “reserved” for us (1 Pet.1:4). Eternal life is a GIFT from God (Eph.2:8-9; Rom.6:23), through our faith in Jesus. We CANNOT work or buy our way to Heaven. Just Jesus can grant you access (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). There is NO OTHER WAY! If you don’t know Jesus, trust Him today, now!

Sometimes being His servant is not easy. When He gives me ‘words’ like these, it burdens my heart. But, anyone who preaches or teaches His Word must do as He wants, and not as we’d like. We must teach the WHOLE Word of God, even if the words are grievous and hard. Most people have no objection of hearing of Heaven, but is the subject of Hell is mentioned, they bristle up. God is a God of love . . . YES! But He is also a God of “wrath” too! John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV) (Also see: Rom.1:18). So, what triggers God’s wrath? SIN! What in God’s eyes is the worst sin? UNBELIEF! John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; (KJV) The world's sin is unbelief in Jesus! My friend, not believing God will put you in Hell! God is NOT a liar (1 John 5:10-12).
In reality, there are only two ‘families’ in the world: the children of God and the children of the devil (1 John 3:10; 5:1; John 1:12-13). If you do not know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, you are NOT God’s child!
God made Heaven, where He lives, and where ALL His children shall live too. But, God also made Hell (Mat.25:41), for the devil and his angels, and ALL that follow him. If you refuse to believe God, you are following the devil! I know these are harsh and serious words. I do hope you will take them into consideration. Jesus taught much on Hell. Why? Because He does NOT want you to end up there. Please open your Bible and read what it has to say about Hell. This may sound strange, but I can SEE Heaven much more clearly when I read about Hell. It is the exact opposite, and I KNOW I don’t want to go there.
Again, please consider my words, but much more important, please consider God’s Words! Ephes. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV) Attaining Heaven is NOT something you strive for; it is a GIFT! God made salvation so simple that even a small child could understand: just believe God! If you do not know Jesus, there could not be a better time than now! God loves you. Why not spend eternity with Him?
NO JESUS, NO PEACE. KNOW JESUS, KNOW PEACE!

How and why we are called (from before the foundation of the world Ep.1:4), is something I cannot explain. But I do know that God never makes mistakes, and that if you know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, you are called, you are chosen to be His child, and heir to His Kingdom. What does God own? Of what does His Kingdom consist? My friend, God owns everything! You and I are just stewards of His assets, and most often, we don’t do a very good job.
God summons us to be His children, which is the true church. In eternity, we will live in Heaven with Him. For now, we are to walk worthy of this calling! We are to live life using Jesus as a role model. If He didn’t do it, or say it, we’d better not either! If you are truly God’s child, (not just one who professes to be a Christian), you will walk the walk of truth, righteousness, light, love, etc. You must, because the world (unbelievers) are watching you. If you do not, you bring shame to the Cross of Christ (Phil.3:18). Those of us who name the Name of Christ (call ourselves Christians), must not bring shame to Christ, but only glory (Rev.5:12). Any and all we do should glorify our wondrous and awesome God! Praise Him, and honor Him with the way you walk (live) in this world. Not only trust; but obey too!
The Gospel is written, a chapter a day, By deeds that you do, and words that you say.
Men read what you say, be it faulty or true, What is the Gospel, according to you?

I COULD HAVE, I SHOULD HAVE
Those in the grip of the devil’s hand,
Are not headed for God’s Glory Land!
And one future day they’ll moan and yell,
But ‘twill be too late, for they’re in Hell!
Memories they’ll have, and things they say,
Won’t do any good, for God won’t sway!
“I could have, I should have, taken heed,
Instead a Godless life I did lead.”
“I could have listened when I heard,
Yet I simply went on my own accord.”
Folks do their own thing, go their own way,
And it’s so sad; they’re the devil’s prey!
“I should have turned to Christ the Lord,
When a loved one brought me His Word.”
They’ll think back with bitter memories,
At all their lost opportunities!
“I could have, I should have gone God’s road,
For now, I would be in His Abode!”
These folks will realize when it’s too late,
Only Christ has the ‘key’ to Heaven’s gate!
“I should have humbly fallen to my knees,
Instead, I’ll have eternal misery.
I’ll be tormented with eternal flame,
For I rejected Christ’s holy Name!”

By: His servant, Connie Kramer (Luke 16:19-31 Scripture reference)
When the Lord gave me these words, I begged Him to take them away! He did not! They would not go away! They kept running around in my mind. Then, like the May Message, He laid on my heart that this was to be a ‘Message,’ so in obedience to Him, that is what I am doing.
This poem is different, in that is a person in a hypothetical situation; someone who has arrived in Hades (Hell), and realizes where they are, and wish that they could live life over again. They see then that they ‘should have, could have’ done things differently while they were here on Earth. But, too, they realize it is too late to do anything about it! The memories people will have when they arrive there will be one of the many eternal agonies they will face. Too late they will see that they should have listened when someone told them about Christ.
Anyone who knows me, or my writing, knows that I have a great burden for lost souls. When I see those around me who do not know Jesus as their Saviour; it tears me apart (loved ones, friends, acquaintances, some in my Bible study classes). God’s Word states very plainly that eternal life is attained only through His Son! I will let
God tell you; He always does a much better job than me!
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [KJV] There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust Him to save them. But those who refuse to trust Him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God. Condemned means judged . . . judged to HELL!
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. [KJV] All who trust God’s Son to save them HAVE eternal life now (John 5:25); those who don’t believe and obey Him shall NEVER see Heaven, but the wrath of God remains on them. A good many people think God has only one side; that of love. This is NOT true! God is love, yes, but God has a second side too, that of wrath. Why does He get so angry? SIN! And the greatest sin to God is unbelief (John 16:9).
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he ye shall die in your sins. [KJV] IF we don’t believe Jesus is who He says He is, IF we don’t trust Him, IF we reject Him, if we ignore Him completely, Jesus says we will “die in our sins”. The death Jesus is referring to is eternal death, the second death (Rev.20:14), everlasting punishment (Mt.25:46, see below), everlasting destruction
(1 Thes.2:8-9), and what most know as HELL!
2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: [9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; [KJV] Above I mentioned ‘lost souls.’ Just who are the ‘lost’? These two verses answer that question: 1. — Those who “know not God”. 2. — Those who “obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ”. Please take heed to verse 9.
2 Thes. 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. [KJV] ALL people will be rightly judged for believing falsehood, refusing the Truth, and enjoying their sins. God gives everybody freedom to make their own choices. He will not force His love upon you, but if you refuse to accept the Truth, (unbelief) you will harvest the consequences of that choice. What does ‘damned’ mean? It means cursed (by God), it means condemned to eternal punishment. Hell!
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. [KJV] Don’t let your heart lead you away from God and all His goodness by refusing to believe Him. A hard heart activates God’s wrath (Ro.2:5).
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: [KJV] Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. [KJV] Jesus warns over and over against unbelief
and the agony of Hell. He tries so hard to save people from the agonizing punishment of Hell. Please Listen!
1 John 5:11-12 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [KJV] If you accept Jesus and what He did for you on the Cross, believing in faith; you have eternal life NOW (Jn.5:24). Then when you die (physically) you will NOT go to Hell, but to Heaven. It is well to remember that God, in His infinite wisdom, made only one Way to Heaven (eternal life, salvation). That Way is Christ Jesus, our Lord (Jn. 10:7-9; 14:6; Ro.5:2; Ep.2:18; 3:12; Rev.3:8). No one, alive or dead, has the power to save or forgive sins, except Jesus!
And no church has that power either, just Jesus! Salvation of your souls is a ‘GIFT’ from God (Ep.2:8-9; Ro.6:23), all you have to do is reach out and grab hold of it, before it’s too late. Once you leave this Earth, it’s too late to change your mind. If you don’t accept Jesus here on this Earth, you will be saying some of the words in the above poem, and having memories of what could have been.

I don ’t know about you, but these words walk all over me! I feel sure that we all are guilty of more than one of the above! I know I am! Most often these sins are completely forgotten about by God’s children. They are ‘sins we tend to forget’; but let’s face it, they are sins, we cannot deny this! Anything we do that is in direct conflict with God’s character, is ‘sin’! Love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness (humility),
and self control are the characteristics of God (Gal.5:22-23). All the above go against these!
Love is patient and kind, does not envy nor boast, it’s not rude nor proud, is not self-seeking, nor easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. (1 Co.13:4-7). We must love! It seems whenever I am tested by God’s Word, I fail! It shows me just how holy and pure and righteous God really is; and how weak and faulty, and just plain sinful I am!
So, what’s the answer? How can we ‘do better’? We cannot do it on our own. Jesus said: “without Him we can do nothing” (Jn.15:5-B); but, with Him and His strength, we can do all things (Phil.4:13). First, we must admit to these ‘sins’; repent and confess them. Then and only then can we expect Him to help us overcome these things we should not be doing, these ‘little sins’ we tend to forget! We tend to categorize sins (with ours as the ‘little ones). Remember, in God’s eyes, there is no ‘little’ sin. To God, sin is sin! We must make every effort to flee from all sin! Trust and accept the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember, He is within you to help you be victorious.

‘Charity’ is the love of God for man. For us, it is love for each other. There is no way anyone could ever love more than our Lord Jesus! His tender Heart is overflowing with love, mercy and compassion. And the best thing about it is, He never changes! With us, our love seems to ebb and flow, as the tide, ever changing!
God’s Word tells us “There is none righteous, no, not one”(Ro.3:10), but our loving and caring Heavenly Father made a ‘WAY’ possible for us to be righteous; and that is His precious Son, Jesus! Our faith in Jesus justifies all our wrong doings in God’s eyes (Ro.5:1). Jesus’ righteousness is transferred to us. And as our ‘Advocate’(1 Jn.2:1) He intercedes for us before the throne of God. Our faith in Jesus makes us God’s friend!
Jesus is steadfast and sure, now, and in the future when He shall be the Great Judge of all, judging in truth and honesty. He’s our Redeemer, Salvation, Shepherd, Lord, Master, and ‘Owner’ of our souls (1 C.6:20). He paid a great ‘price’ for us, redeeming us from the ‘pits of Hell’. He is our ‘Unspeakable Gift’ (2 Co.9:15). There has never been, nor will there ever be, a better ‘GIFT’ than that of God’s Son, and eternal life that He gives! It simply cannot be put into words (unspeakable) because of the magnitude and eternal effects.
Jesus Christ is Divine. He is Deity. He is GOD! He is all powerful, present everywhere and knows every thing! There is nothing you do or say that He does not know about (Eze.11:5). He knows how things will end, even before they begin (Is.46:10). We simply cannot get away from Him; but then, if you are God’s child, you absolutely do not want to get away from Him. You want Him as close as possible, because without Him you can do nothing (Jn.15:5; Phil.4:13). Praise Him always for the closeness of His love and comfort and strength.

1 Thes. 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. [KJV]
This wonderful, prophetic passage of Scripture is most important to all God’s children! It teaches the imminent (could happen at any time) and impending (approaching, fateful) coming of our Lord for His church. He did not say He would come today, but that He could come today! He does not tell us when He will come; in fact He warns us to “watch”!
Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. [KJV] The uncertainty of the hour calls for constant vigilance. We must be watchful in every aspect of our lives,
and at every minute; for His coming in the clouds (Ac.1:9-11) will be swift and sudden. There will be no opportunity for wishing you had better prepared yourself, for confessing that last hateful sin, for loving your brother or sister in Christ more, for showing mercy and compassion to someone, for not telling someone about Jesus when you had a chance, etc. etc. The choices you have made at that time will stand! There will be no turning back to reconsider and change your mind. This is why Jesus so sternly warns believers. We do not want to be ashamed at His coming. 1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. [KJV] We must place our total trust in Him, and live as He would have us to live. Talk as He would talk, and walk as He would walk! “Impossible” you say! Yes, on our own, it is impossible (Jn.15:5; Phil.4:13). But, we have Him to assist us, so it is NOT impossible! We can do it, with His help!
The ‘Rapture’ will do two things: 1.--- Ends the dispensation of grace, in which we are now living. When Christ comes “in the clouds” He will call out the church (both the living and the dead in Christ). The ‘church’ is the one and only true church (NOT denominations). It is the Body of Christ, of which He is the Head. It is ALL God’s children. Not one of God’s children will be left behind. 2. --- It will begin the “Day of the Lord” (the Great Tribulation). Not one of God’s children will go through this horrendous time (1 Thes.1:10; Rev.3:10).
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [KJV] Because this “Blessed Hope” we can look forward with confidence, but, we must not be ‘sleeping’ Christians! We must watch and be sober (be diligent, cautious, watchful, 1 Thes.5:6). We, as God’s children, have a duty to perform. We are His children, we are to act like His children! Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. [KJV]
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. [KJV]
This is a horrible and ugly list of sins! The children of God must not have anything to do with any of these. This would be to ‘walk in the flesh’. You do not want Jesus to come and find you doing the above!
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. [KJV] We, as God’s children should be found producing ‘FRUIT’ when our Lord comes for us!
There are far too few pastors preaching about the return of our Lord. Christians need to be reminded that He could come at any minute! There are far too few teachers telling their students about this imminent event. It may not happen today; but it could happen today, and God’s children should prepare themselves so that they are not ashamed at His coming! Are you ready for His return? Are you ready to stand before the Great Judge, or will you shrink back and be ashamed? Or are there ‘things’ you should straighten out before He comes? If you know Jesus as Saviour and Lord, you will be taken ‘Home’ at the ‘Rapture’. If you do not know Jesus, and are still physically alive when Jesus comes, you will go through the ‘Great Tribulation’. Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [KJV]
There have been some horrendous things that have happened throughout history; but Jesus says here that the ‘Tribulation’ will absolutely be the worst the world has ever known. God will tolerate sin just so long; then His holy wrath will come down all those left after the Rapture. Jesus could come, today! Will you go ‘Home’ with Him? Or will you stay to face the wrath of God in the judgments of the Great Tribulation? Only you can decide!

At this particular time of year we think of ‘being thankful’. Can you honestly say you are comfortable with being thankful to God just at Thanksgiving? I cannot! He has done so much for me that I do try to thank and praise Him each and every day I live. We need to praise God for who He is; our sovereign God who created ALL things in His majestic wisdom. He NEVER makes a mistake, ever! We need to thank God for His never ending love and goodness; His patience with us, His compassion, His forgiveness, His truthfulness and purity, His justice. We need to thank God that He is NEVER out of earshot to any of His children. We need to thank God for ALL answered prayer,
including those times when He tells us NO! We especially need to thank God for making a ‘Way’ possible for unrighteous sinners to be reconciled to His holy and sinless presence and eventually live where He lives (Heaven), for eternity! We need to thank God for His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, who died on that Cross that we might live, and we need to thank our precious Saviour for His willing obedience to the Father and His wondrous love for us.
Jesus came to “seek and save that which was lost” (Lu.19:10); this includes the whole world (Jn.4:42;
1 Jn.4:14), because we are all sinners (Ro.3:10, 23). If you have not trusted Jesus to save you from everlasting destruction in Hell (2 Thes.1:9), turn to Him today. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ( KJV ) Only Jesus can give you access to Heaven, where God the
Father lives. If you are God’s child, thank Him! If not, become God’s child today by accepting God’s Son, Jesus.

HIS INCARNATION
What a wonder; His incarnation,
God sent from Heaven His only Son!
Christ Jesus came in the form of Man,
This pleased the Father, ‘twas His plan!
The prophets told of His wondrous Birth,
Do you think they knew, of all His worth?
God Himself coming in human form,
And of a young virgin, He was born.
A stable manger was His first bed,
A humble place, for a royal Head!
His pillow there was soft sweet hay,
God the Father, wanted it that way!
God sent His Son as a small Baby,
And Christ came; His Father to obey!
But no longer a helpless Babe is He,
He is a Man of great victory!
He came to this Earth that we might live,
His holy, precious life, He did give!
Accepting Him gives life eternally,
Humble yourself, receive victory!

By: His servant, Connie Kramer. Scripture references to above poem:
Gal.4:4; Lu.2:7; Is.7:14; Mt.1:18; Is.9:7; 11:1-5; Mic.5:2; Mt.2:1; Gen.12:3; 18:18; Gal.3:7-8, 16, 28-29
When I think of the ‘GIFT’ that God the Father arranged for sinners like us, it amazes me. The Father planned our salvation (Ep.1:4-6), His precious Son paid for that salvation with His all (Ep.1:7-12), and the Holy Spirit applies that salvation to us (Ep.1:13-14). This ‘GIFT’ can in NO way ever be topped! There simply is no greater gift than that of the salvation of our souls from the everlasting destruction of Hell (2 Thes.1:8-9). We are ALL sinners (Ro.6:10, 23), and sinners have NO place whatsoever in Heaven (Rev.21:7-8; 22:14-15). So God prepared a Way (one and only one Way), to make it possible for a righteous, pure and holy God to receive sinners without violating His righteousness and justice. The inspired answer comes from the book of Exodus. Ex. 12:13 “--- and when I see the blood, I will pass over you.”
Jesus was our ‘once for all’ sacrifice. He paid the price. He redeemed us from sin and its consequences. He left the comfort of Heaven, the glory of being God, to come as Man (the incarnation) to this evil world. He, being God, knew what was in store for Him (suffering, persecution, agony, death) before He came. Yet He came! It simply amazes me!
The love He has for us CANNOT be put into words. And the ‘GIFT’ He brought us is unspeakable! 2 Cor. 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. [KJV] Thank God for His Son . . . a GIFT far too wonderful for words! God’s Son IS eternal life! 1 John 5:11-12 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [KJV]
I pray that you have reached out and grabbed hold of the most extraordinary ‘GIFT’ ever offered. God offers eternal life
to ALL. Have you accepted it? A gift is not yours unless you take it. Accept Jesus, the greatest GIFT of all time.
It's NOT yours until you take it!
