Question Poems

These are poems that will stir your conscience.

There will be NO appeal, on Judgment Day,
You'll not be able to sway things, your way.
You wiil not sway the Judge, with bribery,
This Judge will do everything, righteously!

If you hate the verdict, there is NO appeal,
Your life today, eternity shall seal.
Your life will be revealed, for all to see,
My friend, where will you spend, eternity?

Ever so righteous, will be this Great Judge,
He'll never from truth and holiness, budge.
The verdict He gives, you'll know is right,
My friend, have you walked with Him, in His Light?

There's NO appeal, when Christ's verdict you hear,
In this life, do you live, in Godly fear?
Or friend, do you blaspheme, His Holy Name?
If so, you will stand before Him, in shame!

With your tongue, do you the Lord Jesus confess?
Do you honor and praise Him, and His Name bless?
Friend, if you don't, you'll not like what you hear,
The Judge will say, "The flames of Hell are near."

Each one of us, shall stand before His Throne,
And we'll stand in His Presence, all alone.
What we do today, is how Christ will decide,
Where in eternity, we will reside!

Have you open'd to Christ, the door to your heart?
Did you repent, and from your sin depart?
Just Jesus, has Heav'n's one and only key,
Without Him, it's Hell, for eternity!

In the Lamb's Book of Life, is your name there?
If not, the Lake of Fire, shall be your fare!
There shall be NO appeals, on Judgment day,
My friend, are you walking, the narrow way?

Are you one who is true to the end?
Are you considered a trustworthy friend?
When you make a promise, do you follow thru’?
Or do you speak words, that mean nothing to you?

Do you love God with all your heart, mind and soul?
Have you allowed Jesus to make you whole?
Has your life changed since you became God’s child?
Or do you still live a life, wicked and wild?

Do you “do unto others” each and ev’y day?
Or does greed, pride and selfishness get in the way?
Do you love your neighbor, as you love you?
Or does hate and bitterness, your heart ensue?

Do you believe ALL that God has to say?
Or do you try to invent ‘another’ way?
Are you walking that road, narrow and strait?
Or are you speeding onward, to Hell’s gate?

Do you believe that Christ is the only Way?
To reach your “mansion” in Heaven some day?
Do you trust Him with your body and soul?
Do you know that God gave Christ full control?

Do you have peace and joy in your heart?
Do you know these come from Christ, and won’t depart?
Do you know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord?
Do you truly believe God’s Holy Word?

Is your life ablaze, with God’s Holy pow’r?
Does your light shine brightly, hour after hour?
Do you tell others, what Jesus can do?
Do you His lost sheep, intently pursue?

Do you willingly serve Jesus, the King?
Do you each and ev’ry day, His praises sing?
Do you thank Him for blessings He bestows?
At His precious Name, does your soul glow?

Do you have Christ’s peace, way deep down inside?
Does His own Spirit, within you abide?
Does your heart rejoice, ev’ry single day?
The hope you possess; do you proudly display?

Do you really consider Christ, your Lord?
Are you steadfast, in studying His Word?
Do you truly believe, and trust Him always?
The commandments He gives; do you obey?

When God takes you, will you go to Heaven?
Will a reserv’d mansion, to you be given?
Do you know that Christ is the only way,
To enter the bliss of Heaven someday?

The gates of Heaven, or Hell’s fires,
Which of these two, is your desire?
Most folks have not thought much ‘bout this,
The terror of Hell, or Heaven’s bliss!

Most go thru’ life, not thinking of God,
Just their ev’ry day life, as they trod.
Just the comfort of each new day,
Is in their thoughts, as they go their way!

This Earth is not our perm’nent home,
We’re just pilgrims, as we do roam.
We’re given this time, to decide,
Where for eternity we will abide!

God does live, in Heaven above,
Where there’s peace and joy, and great love!
Those gates of Heaven, have just one Key,
Christ Jesus, is His identity!

Without our Lord, there’s just Hell’s fires,
On your own, that’s what you’ll acquire!
Only Christ Jesus has the power,
To deliver, at the right hour!

To whom will you turn, when pain arrives?
As you struggle helplessly, to survive.
With Christ to strengthen, we can do all things,
We must turn to Christ, for divine blessings.

To whom will you turn, when you’re facing hate?
As you struggle inwardly, questioning your fate.
We must know Jesus loves us, ev’ry day,
We must turn to Him, He will show the right way.

To whom will you turn, when people persecute?
As you struggle desperat’ly, to stay mute.
We must know our reward, will be so great,
We must turn to Christ, before it’s too late.

To whom will you turn, when your sin takes hold?
As you struggle, to return to the fold.
If we confess our sin, He will forgive,
We must turn to Christ, in this life we live.

To whom will you turn, when Satan tempts you?
As you struggle wearily, to stay true.
We must turn to Christ, He went thru’ it all,
Without His awesome strength, we’ll surely fall.

To whom will you turn, at the long day’s end?
Turn to the One, who is your dearest Friend.
Turn to the One who holds, Heav’ns’ only key,
Turn to Jesus, who is King of eternity!

Phil.4:13; John 3:16; 14:6; Eph.2:2; 5:2; Mat.5:10-12; 1 John 1:8-9;
Just Jesus can give you Eternal Life: Luke 20:36; John 6:50; John 8:51; John 11:26; Rom.2:7; 1 Cor.15:53; 2 Cor.5:1; 1 Thes.4:17; 2 Tim.1:10; Mat.7:14; 18:8-9; Luke 10:28; It comprises the whole future of the redeemed (Luke 16:9), and is opposed to “eternal punishment” (Mat.19:29; 25:46). It is the final reward and glory into which the children of God enter (1 Tim. 6:12, 19; Rom.6:22; Gal.6:8; 1 Tim. 1:16; Rom.5:21)

He came from Heav’n, many years ago,
To this Earth, for blessings to bestow.
The greatest blessing, He e’er did give,
He died for us all, that we might live.

As our Saviour struggled, to that hill,
Death awaited Him; for they would kill,
Such an innocent One, and so pure,
On that Cross, OUR death, He did endure.

Were you there? those many years ago?
As His precious Blood, from Him did flow?
For the sins of the world, He did die,
He died that we might live; you and I.

Were you there? as He cried in agony?
“My God, why have you forsaken me?”
On OUR sins, God had turned His back,
But Christ persever’d, in that time so black.

I was there; MY sins put Him on that tree,
My precious Saviour, did die for ME.
He paid the price, only He could pay,
That all who believe, will go Heav’n’s way.

What About?

What about our Triune God, do you believe?
And have you in your heart, the Son received?
There are so many gods, in the world today,
And so many cults, that teach so many ways.

What about salvation, is it works or grace?
Do you one day, want to see Jesus’ Face?
Works won’t get you there, no matter how many,
God’s grace and your faith, gives life eternally.

What about Almighty God, and Creation?
Or do you believe, in evolution?
God does not say, man from apes descend,
God’s Word supports Creation, this it defends.

What about forgiveness, forgive and forget?
Does God really forgive us, all our sin debt?
Christ died to redeem us, from all iniquity,
Believing this gives us, life eternally.

What about the Lake of Fire, which is Hell?
Do you believe that millions, there shall dwell?
God’s vengeance, will be on those who don’t obey,
The Gospel of Christ, and go the devil’s way.

What about Heav’n, are there mansions there?
Have they been prepared, with precision and care?
If there is a Heav’n, there is also a Hell,
Please friend, consider, which place shall you dwell?

Are you careless, as you live your life?
Are your days filled, with worry and strife?
Does your daily stress, keep stacking high?
Do you, God’s love, reject and deny?

Do you say “yes” when you should say “no”?
Do you insist on, ‘going with the flow’?
Do sin and evil, seem right to you?
Do you have any morals, or virtue?

Are you ‘hooked’ on drugs, or cigarettes?
Does booze enslave you, and you not regret?
Do you covet, what your neighbor owns?
Do you turn away, when right is shown?

If you persist, and sin continue,
The beauty of Heav’n, you shall not view!
The glist’ning walls, and street of gold,
My friend, you will never, ever behold!

If sin and Satan has you firmly bound,
You are doomed, unless Christ is found!
Only Christ from sin, can set you free,
And just He can give life, eternally!

What about you, as you ponder this day?
Will you ever see Heav’n’s glorious display?
Or are you walking that road, big and wide?
That leads to Hell, where most will reside?

In Heav’n, or in Hell, what about you?
Thoughts of eternity, most don’t pursue!
Have you considered eternity?
You decide: Heav’n’s bliss, or hell’s agony!

I passed by a funeral home today,
Another lone soul had passed away.
I couldn’t help wonder, as I went by,
Did he accept Christ? or Him deny?

What did he do, with Jesus in life?
Did he ‘go it alone,’ in all his strife?
Or did he believe, and trust in Him?
And let Him help out, in this life so grim.

When you first heard of Christ, what did you do?
Did you believe the Gospel, e’er so true?
Or did you turn away, and Him reject?
This only One, whom your soul could protect.

What do you do with Jesus, as you live?
This Special One, whom your sins can forgive,
Plus abundant blessings, He holds in store,
This One who holds the ‘key," to Heav’n’s door.

With our Saviour and King; what will you do?
It’s a personal thing, I tell you true.
He can grant either Heav’n, OR Hell below,
He can give eternal bliss, OR sorrow.

It all depends, on what you do with Him,
Accept Him and He’ll remove, all your sins.
Reject Him, and in your sins you’ll die,
And for the ‘pits of Hell,’ you’ll qualify.

He stands outside your heart’s door, patiently,
Whispering so softly: “Open to Me.”
It’s the biggest decision, you’ll e’er make,
Rejecting Him, is an eternal mistake.

When you picture Jesus, in your mind,
Just what sort of image, do you find?
A Baby, Miracle Man or Teacher?
Saviour, Lord, Friend, Judge, or King grandeur?

Do you in a manger, a Baby find?
With His mother near; loving and kind?
He was a Baby; but is no more!
He’s our loving GOD, whom we should adore!

Do you in your mind, a Great Teacher see?
For He taught, with superiority!
Or do you picture, a Miracle Man?
Healing multitudes, as ‘twas God’s plan!

Saviour on the Cross, who did redeem?
Lord, whom we should love, and highly esteem?
Or do you in your mind, see a Friend?
Who never forsakes; is there to the end?

As the Mighty Judge, most will not see,
But, He will judge ALL; both you and me!
At the Judgment Seat, and Great White Throne,
At ONE of these you’ll stand; all alone!

Do you in your mind, see an awesome King?
Sovereign Ruler --- over ev’ry thing!
Our wondrous God, in true justice will reign,
For ever, His righteousness, will remain!

Our precious Jesus, we can always see,
But, our heart must be right; that’s the ‘key’!
We can see Him, in many diff’rent ways,
What we feel in our heart; our mind portrays!
By: His servant, Connie Kramer June 16,1998 # 477

What do you really think of Christ? Is He completely glorious in your eyes? Is He precious to your heart? Just what DO you see when you picture Jesus in your mind? Do you just see a Baby in a manger? That is not the correct view! He is SO much more. He is Saviour, Counsellor, Teacher, Friend, Judge, Miracle Man, our Advocate, Intercessor, etc, etc, and one day He shall be KING of all kings! May Christ Jesus be your joy, your confidence, your all. May we daily be made more like Him, and more devoted to His service.

Christmas is honoring the birth of our Lord,
Like the lowly shepherds; Jesus they adored.
Of His wondrous birth, the angel did tell them,
And they came with haste, to tiny Bethlehem.

The new born babe was lying in a manger,
In a humble barn, but there was no danger.
There was no room at the inn; ‘twas all filled,
It was a silent night, so very stilled.

The Heavenly angels did herald His birth,
And I know they wanted to shout His worth.
This was God’s only begotten Son, for sure,
But a birth of humility; no grandeur.

He was born of a virgin; a peasant girl,
As Isaiah said, proven as years unfurled.
We need to understand just what His birth means,
He came down from Heaven, so God could be seen!

He came out of love, to take away our sins,
The Blood He shed on the Cross, cleans us within.
When we believe God, and trust Jesus to save,
We won’t go to Hell, nor will we be depraved.

Christmas is honoring Jesus, and His birth,
Remember that He is God, and His worth.
Think of His great love, and the gift He does bring,
The ticket to Heaven, what a wondrous thing!

Heb.9:14; Ro.5:9; Rev.1:5; 7:14)

My husband and I no longer celebrate "Christmas" as we once did years ago. We now consider it a pagan holiday and want no part of it. If it were a "Godly" holiday, a day where people praised and honored and glorified CHRIST . . . WHY do SO many heathens and non-Christians celebrate it? We believe that Christ should be honored EVERY day, NOT just one day of the year. Christ was NOT born in December! See our article: http://www.hisservants.org/christmas_h_s.htm

We are to believe God, whatever He says,
Study His Word, every one of your days.
Have faith in Him, confidence and trust,
For with Him, these things are a must.

We are to love God, with out entire being,
Love Him, completely, without ever seeing!
Body, soul and mind, each hour of the day,
Put Him first in all things, in every way!

We are to obey God, this Jesus has said,
When we love and obey, we have nothing to dread!
Accept Jesus, love God, then your fellow man,
This God expects of us, ‘tis also His plan!

We are to be thankful to God, in all things,
For He blesses daily, in what He does bring!
Even thank Him, for what you think to be bad,
In the end it’ll work out, and you’ll be glad.

Always thank and praise God, for all He has done,
And be so very grateful, for His only Son.
God really does love the sacrifice of praise,
The fruit of our lips, let’s continually raise!

We are to fear, or revere God all the day through,
For He is so very awesome, great and true!
This deep down respect, we must have for our God,
No matter where we may be; here or abroad!

We are to serve God, and do try to win souls,
Serving our Maker; this must be our goal!
Honor and glorify Him, in actions and speech,
Commit your life to Him, and Heav’n you shall reach!

Did you ever wonder? “What does God hate?”
His Word will tell us, and tell us straight.
Idols are an abomination,
Cursed are they; no matter the nation!

Sacrificing children, kindles God’s wrath,
In days of old, or on today’s path.
Abortion is selfish sacrifice,
Taking that life, friend, you’ll pay the price!

Witchcraft, horoscopes, and divination,
All to God are degradation.
Fortune tellers, and necromancers,
Are hated by our Heav’nly Father.

Homosexuals, and sodomy,
Are hated by God, in great degree.
Sodom and Gomorrah, God did destroy,
For these wicked evils, they did employ.

Cheating, pride, murder, discord, and lies,
Stubbornness too, our God does despise.
Offerings of the wicked, God does hate,
Wickedness, of all rulers, so great.

He that justifieth the wicked,
Are abominable, His Word has said.
Too, if someone does condemn the just,
God hates and looks on them with disgust.

Mocking God’s prophets, and God’s One Son,
Brings down God’s wrath, when Jesus you shun.
God’s great wrath will abide upon you,
Only Christ from that wrath can rescue,

What Have I Done For You??

For me, You have done so many things,
You pour on me, abundant blessings.
Great love and mercy, You send my way,
A terrific way, to start each new day.

But, what dear Lord, have I done for You?
Do I love others, as You would do?
Or do I hastily, walk away?
Never giving them, the time of day?

Dear Lord, what do You expect of me?
Does the life I live, with You agree?
Or do harsh, hateful words that are said,
Displease You Lord, and cause You dread?

In my life, what have I done for You?
Do I do the things, that I ought to?
Do I truly love You, and my brothers?
Do I show love and mercy to others?

All that I do, to those around me,
Be it good or bad, I do unto Thee!
Do I treat others, as I would treat You?
Does my life reveal, a heart re-new’d?

Do unto others, is what You teach,
The hearts of God’s children, You try to reach.
Help me always, to do what is right,
So what I do, is pleasing to Your sight.

He hung on that Cross; so bleak and bare,
As He suffered; “What held Him there?”
Was it nails they drove in His Hands?
Or was it great love, for all lands?

He could have called legions of angels,
To take Him down, and His agony quell.
Huge rusty nails in His hands and feet,
Did not hold Him there; ‘twas LOVE so sweet!

Great wondrous love, giv’n for me and you,
Love bound Him secure; vast love and true!
He bought our souls with His precious Blood,
Relieved God’s wrath with that crimson Flood!

Those nails did not hold Him to that tree,
“What held Him there?” love for you and me!
Love so very willing and so true,
Deep heart-felt love, we can’t construe!

What if --- the Words in the Bible are true,
Would that make any difference to you?
Would you try to understand, what God states?
Or would you not trey to change your fate?

What if --- you could change your destination,
Would you take the route away from damnation?
Would you try Heaven’s small narrow road?
Or would you continue, to Hell’s abode?

What if --- you knew, Christ was the only way,
Would you have faith, and believe in Him this day?
Would you trust Him completely, to save you?
My friend, the choice is yours; what will you do?

What if --- you knew, you would die this v’ry day,
Would you change your thoughts, or the words you say?
Would you try to make right, the wrongs you’ve done?
Or would you just grab every bit of fun?

The world is in the vast majority,
They never think about eternity.
They never think that God won’t ever lie,
And their soul lives forever, when they die.

What if --- you would turn to Christ, and believe?
Then a mansion in Heav’n, you will receive!
Just Christ can save you from Hell’s agony,
And grant life in Heaven, eternally!

What if, I do not accept the Lord?
What is the penalty, in God’s Word?
What if, I keep my mind on lust and greed?
What if, God’s Commandments, I do not heed?

What if, just me, me, is on my mind?
And time for others, I cannot find?
What if, pride is always in my path?
What if, I don’t try to avoid God’s wrath?

What if, I always pick the wrong friends?
And drugs and booze, seem to be my trend?
What if, I do to you, ‘fore you do to me?
What if, I never think, of eternity?

You must be born again, God’s Word is clear!
But most folks the Gospel, refuse to hear!
The penalty, is the Lake of Fire,
Eternal life, must be our desire.

Just two distinct roads, before us stand,
One leads to God, the other, Satan’s hand.
NO one can make, the decision but you,
Choose the right road, and with gusto pursue.

Walk with Jesus, on the narrow path,
‘Tis the only way, to avoid God’s wrath!
Satan’s broad road, leads to Hell’s agony,
Where the bliss of Heav’n, you will ne’er see.

was cast into the lake of fire.
Is YOUR name there?

What if --- this were your last day to live,
Is there someone, you might want to forgive?
Does your heart a heavy burden carry?
Run to the Lord, my friend; do not tarry!

What if --- you knew this would be your last day,
Would you keep on living the same way?
Or would you maybe change a few things?
Run to the Lord, my friend; for His blessings!

What if --- today you would take your last breath,
Are you ready to die a physical death?
Is there something you would try to make right?
Run to the Lord, my friend; you’re in His sight!

What if --- today God would call you away,
Are there kind words to one you might say?
Is there one that you should right a wrong?
Run to the Lord, my friend; to His arms so strong!

What if --- did you ever contemplate?
When I die, just what will be my fate?
Does eternity ever come to your mind?
Or are you to this Truth, totally blind?

What if --- O please consider this my friend,
Your days on Earth are short, and soon will end.
Ev’ry living person one day will die,
For life in Heaven, do you qualify?

If you reject Christ, you are doom’d to Hell,
In eternal agony, you shall dwell.
But, if you accept Christ, Heaven awaits,
For just Christ has keys to Heaven’s gates.

What if things don’t go as you expect?
After so much prayer, why won’t God protect?
If it’s not His will, you don’t want it my friend,
Rejoice, trust Him, He gives His best in the end.

What if prayer won’t take disease away?
What if your loved one passes on today?
You must rejoice, tho’ gladness won’t be near,
His Presence is with you always, have no fear.

What if the miracle doesn’t take place?
Will sadness within, show on your face?
Trust in the Lord, rejoice in His pow’r,
He’ll always see you thru’ your darkest hour.

You pray and pray for things to go your way,
What if no answer comes to you that day?
Rejoice, trust Him completely, He knows best,
His wisdom is true, when He runs His tests.

What if, you backslide from the Lord?
What if you neglect His most Holy Word?
You must repent, and to Him turn back,
You can’t rejoice when you’re on the wrong track.

Rejoice always and give thanks for all things,
The Lord’s lovingkindness, great blessings bring.
Rejoice, and walk ever so close to His side,
A wondrous life, when with Him you abide!

Phil.2:28; 4:4; 1 Thes.5:16-17; 1 Pet.1:8

On God’s blessings, what would the price be?
If God were to charge, you and me.
Could we afford to pay for His love?
That He so graciously sends, from above.

Could we buy peace? or have to pass by?
For on our money, we couldn’t rely.
What about grace? how much would you pay?
For God’s sufficiency, ev’ry day.

The joy in your life, how much is it worth?
Consider this, as you walk this Earth.
Being content, as you live your life,
Would be expensive, for it removes strife.

What about hope, how much would it be?
As you contemplate, eternity.
And what about salvation of your soul?
Saving your money would have to be your goal.

Isn’t God good to us, ev’ry day?
For NONE of His blessings, do we have to pay!
He doesn’t charge for His love, it’s free!
And His grace abounds, abundantly!

Peace and joy come when Christ we accept,
God gives them freely, to His elect!
Contentment comes when the Spirit abides,
When the door of our heart, we open wide.

Because of Christ, God forgives all our sins,
Just thru’ Christ, can God’s friendship we win.
We now have hope, that wasn’t there before,
Salvation is ours! and so much more!

A Christian starts, by being ‘born again’,
Not physically, but spiritually, friend.
This happens the moment, you believe Him,
Trusting Christ, brings to God’s fam’ly within.

When we’re ‘born’ into, the fam’ly of God,
On another path, with the Spirit we trod.
We must not stay ‘babes’, instead we should grow,
In the grace and knowledge, of Christ to know.

We’re then clothed, in a ‘robe’ of righteousness,
Just from our Saviour, can come this pure dress!
We should then let our light, shine before men,
God will liken us to a wise man, only then.

‘Born again’ gives us, fellowship with God,
We’re of the ‘same mind’, and the same accord.
Lest we’re born of water, and the Spirit,
We can’t see Heaven, let alone enter it.

Once we trust Jesus, as Saviour and Lord,
‘Tis our duty, to “Continue in His Word.”
We’ll then know the Truth, and that Truth is He,
And that v’ry Truth shall indeed, make you free!

Only after we’re saved, do good works come in,
Fight the good fight of faith, turn from your sin.
You are a living sacrifice, to God,
As on that steep, rugged pathway we trod.

As ye have received Christ, walk in Him,
If you walk in His Spirit, the world gets dim.
We walk by our faith, and not by our sight,
Let Him lead the way, your path will be bright.

As you run your race, let nothing beset,
We must look ahead, never back, nor fret.
Eternal life waits, in Heaven above,
Thanks be to Jesus, He did it in love!

What Shall I Fear?

What shall I fear, will it be death?
Christ is with me, till my last breath!
Christ is my Life, by my death I gain,
Lord give me strength, that faith remain.

What shall I fear, will it be exile?
The entire Earth is His, all the while.
Earth and its bounty belong to Him,
With Christ at my side, nothing is dim!

What shall I fear, will it be loss of wealth?
Christ is all my riches, and my health.
I brought nought with me, will take nought out,
My riches are Christ; there is no doubt.

All the fears of the world, I’ll pass by,
Poverty’s no fear; for wealth I don’t sigh.
From death I can’t flee; nor do I fear,
Death brings me to the Lord, all the more near.

What will be judged at Christ’s Judgment Seat?
When this special day our Saviour we meet.
We’ll receive rewards; OR we’ll suffer loss,
Did we preach Christ, and His death on the Cross?

How did we treat the family of God?
Did we love , and assist, as this Earth we trod?
Did we use our talents, be they large or small?
We ALL have a ‘gift’, to profit withall.

Do we wisely spend the time God does give?
Or walk about as fools, as we do live?
It is HOW we run our race that will count,
Service to Christ, will be held in account.

How faithful are we to the Word of God?
And how faithful to His flock, as we trod?
We’re ALL evangelists for our Lord,
Tell of Christ Jesus; some may not have heard.

How do we use words, do we speak in vain?
Words can give comfort, or cause so much pain.
Words that come from our mouth, reveal our heart,
God wishes that we from sin would depart.

Just what motive, makes you serve the Lord?
Do you serve Him in love and willing accord?
OR do you serve to receive glory and fame?
Christ knows your heart; you’ll suffer loss and shame.

Are you ready for this soon to come day?
Do you in your life, Christ Jesus obey?
We’ll meet our Saviour, and Judge, face to face,
Will your life please Him, or be a disgrace?

There’ll be no separation or turmoil,
Satan no longer our efforts shall foil.
There’ll be no mourning when a lov’d one dies,
For there’ll be no more death in Heav’n on high.

There’ll be no more sorrow, crying, nor pain,
And of that blissful life, there’ll be no wane.
On and on, for e’er, into eternity,
I pray that Heav’n shall be your destiny.

There’ll be no more hunger, nor any thirst,
God will see to it that we all come first.
There’ll be no wants nor desires of any kind,
I don’t know ‘bout you, but this baffles my mind!

There’ll never be fear, if you’re close or far,
Not like this Earth; many fears so do mar.
He will keep and protect us, forever,
Nothing at all from God will us sever.

There’ll be no more curse God put on the ground,
Anything we do will simply abound.
There shall not be any wickedness there,
You’ll not find any sinners, anywhere!

There’ll be no more sin in our Heav’nly Home,
And you’ll not turn your back on Him, e’er roam.
Christ has made all God’s children just and right,
And there’ll be no options to reach Heav’n bright.

There shall be no night in this blissful place,
All darkness is gone, thanks be to His grace.
There’ll be no candle, nor light of the sun,
Just the presence of Christ, the Light of God’s Son!

(Rev.ch.21; 22:1-6)

Hell will be a prison of darkest despair,
There are so many things that will be there.
A lake of fire and brimstone, that there will be,
The judgment of God, and His final decree.

There will be suffering that’s not met its match,
Such pain and agony, and no gate with a latch.
Weeping and wailing, and gnawing of tongues,
Memory and remorse, have all just begun.

The fearful and unbelievers, and all liars,
All these will have their part, in the lake of fire.
The abominable, and all who hate God,
All who reject Christ, while on Earth they trod.

Then too, there are some things that will not be there,
Because Hell is a prison of dark despair.
No beautiful flowers on the banks of Hell,
None of the wonders of nature, we love so well.

No comforts of our home, no music, no song,
No friendship, no joy, and no peace in that throng.
No fam’ly gath’rings with laughter so bright,
No love and no smiles, and not one bit of light.

No more of God’s mercy, compassion or grace,
No pity, no water, --- what a terrible place!
One other thing that there simply will not be,
None of God’s children, for Christ has set us free.

These are just a few things, to ponder upon,
I pray you won’t wait long, to accept God’s Son.
Christ is the only One, that can save your soul,
And only He can place your name, on Heav’n’s roll.

What will I say, to the Almighty Judge?
When on His decisions, He won’t budge?
I can beg and cry, and for mercy plead,
But it’ll be too late, my words He won’t heed.

Just what will I say, at the Judgment Seat?
When the All-knowing Judge, I finally meet?
I know He’ll have records, of all I’ve done,
I won’t put anything o’er, God’s own Son.

He’ll know about the things, I did not do,
And He’ll know about, the wrongs I did too.
Rewards or loss of rewards, will come my way,
As I consider this, what will I say?

I must NOW really think, of how I live,
I must confess my sins, so God can forgive.
I must walk with Christ, on the narrow path,
I must live righteous, to avoid God’s wrath.

NOW is when I should think, of the Judgment Seat,
For one day soon, the Great Judge I’ll meet.
Will He be pleased, with my service to Him?
What will I say, on this day O so grim?

I will be judged, on all works I have done,
When I come Face to face, with God’s own Son.
All His judgments will be righteous and just,
What will I say, to my Lord whom I trust?

Soon in the future, will come Judgment Day,
I have no idea, of what I will say.
I look to this day with uneasiness,
I must live my life, so my Lord will bless.

If you follow Christ, what will you lose?
There will be things; if this life you choose.
There is a “cross” you will have to bear,
If a life with Christ, you want to share.

Stubborn pride must be cast far away,
But meekness instead, should come to stay.
This characteristic we must seek,
For our precious Saviour; He was meek!

Thinking just of self, in all you do,
Is something you will have to lose too.
The lust for worldly things and pleasure,
You must replace with spiritual treasure.

Every one of your idols must go,
Only to Christ, reverence you must show.
If you don’t put Him first, you’re not worthy,
Of our Saviour’s love, grace and mercy.

You may even lose fam’ly and friends,
Your stand for Jesus, may truly rend.
They may turn completely against you,
When you follow Christ, on a path so true.

We must lay aside thoughts of great things,
Then God will give us awesome blessings!
Worldly concerns must not plague our heart,
Keep your eyes on Christ; they will depart.

All the things you’ll lose, cannot compare,
To the fellowship, with Christ you’ll share!
Great peace and joy, and contentment too,
Will automatically come to you!

Love, kindness, and generosity,
All these blessings He gives freely.
Forgiveness from all our wicked sins,
Full atonement from Him we do win!

Goodness, great patience, and gentleness,
He’s just, and pure; and all righteousness!
Compassion, mercy, and wondrous grace,
‘Twill not be long, and I’ll see His Face!

He’s promised Heaven as my goal,

Do you know Jesus as Saviour and Lord?
Most do not; they reject Him, and His Word!
There are many people, our Lord refuse,
Have you refused Him? what’s your excuse?

Too many hypocrites to that church go,
You’ve never been there, just how would you know?
We need file only one thing on our shelf,
Each single one shall give account of himself!

Do you think you don’t need Christ to save you?
If that’s what you think, you do misconstrue.
Trusting Christ gives life nothing can sever,
Rejecting Him means life in Hell, forever.

Do you perhaps think your sin is too great?
Or do you maybe think for you it’s too late?
Our God can forgive you, please do not doubt,
“Him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.”

Most refuse to believe; what’s your excuse?
Excuses vary in those who refuse!
Do you think our God will no judgment do?
He spared not the angels, why would He spare you?

Some think they can get to Heav’n on their own,
Pride and self-righteousness He’ll not condone.
Not by works of righteousness which you do,
Only God’s tender mercy can save you!

What’s your excuse, on this beautiful day?
Friend, only Jesus, there’s no other way!
I pray you won’t say: “I’m not ready today,”
For it’s an excuse, and it’s the wrong way!

On His Shoulder, you’d be if you got lost,
Jesus would find you, no matter the cost.

If our loving God, is present everywhere,
Why does He seem far away? does He not care?
The Bible tells us that He is always near,
Yet at times He seems remote, causing me fear.

“O God, where art Thou?” He answers, “I’m where you are.”
“I’m here, I’m next to you, I am never far.”
Yet at times He seems a million miles away,
Even tho’ He states: “I am with you alway.”

Close to You again, is what I want to feel,
Give me the answer, as before You I kneel.
I need to feel Your Presence, that makes me glow,
How can it happen? I truly want to know.

Then came a still small Voice, from deep down inside,
I know it was Your Spirit, which does abide.
“You must repent, my child,” the Voice said to me,
O Lord, ‘twas then, my sin I did clearly see.

To fellowship with God, we must with Him be right,
And we must always walk, in His glorious Light.
We must not be content, in the twilight so dim,
Or we cannot have, close fellowship with Him.

We all, like lost sheep, from God have gone astray,
To feel close to God, we must go back His way.
We must never wander from our God of grace,
If we want to feel the Presence of His Face.

No heavy heart by guilt so deep,
Instead He gives rest and peaceful sleep.

Where Christ is Lord, no discontent,

No blind unrest, no gloomy days,
But brightest hope, as Him we praise.

When you leave this earth, where will you go?
The Bible tells you, IF you want to know.
It’s clearly in there, in black and white,
The answer is in there, in plain sight!

God the Father lives, in Heaven above,
Our Mighty God, who is filled with love.

To go on this trip, you must believe,
And in faith, Jesus you must receive.
You must trust and obey Him, ev’ry hour,

It’s FREE, no charge, let me give you this tip.
By faith are you saved, and by God’s grace,
And one sweet day, you shall see Jesus’ Face!

A horrid place, is the lake of Fire,
And going there, is NO one’s desire.
This is the second place, you could go,
To the fiery pits, so far below!

When you leave this Earth, where will you go?
The Bible tells us, IF we want to know.
We must trust and obey, the Son of God,
And follow His footsteps, as we trod!

Each of us has, a decision to make,
Two roads are before us, which will we take?
The small one leads to eternal life,
The broad one, to Hell’s eternal strife!

We must choose our, eternal destiny.
Heaven’s bliss, or Hell’s horrid agony.
Each of these places, are for e’er more,
I pray you choose, Heaven’s restful shore!

Jn.14:1-6; 3:15-18,36; 1 Jn.5:10-13;  Eph.2:8-9; Rom.6:23; Mat.25:41,46; Mk. 9:

Which One?

Millions of roads, scatter this world so wide,
But just two lead, to where one day, you will reside.
Lusting and luring, are the devil's way,
He wins over so, so many, in these sinful.

Each and every day, he wins many more,
Keeping them away, from the Golden Shore.
To keep them on his road, he tempts, he deceives,
With each passing hour, millions he receives.

Each day, Satan enlists to serve him, more,
Slyly, subtly, keeping them from the Golden Shore,
He leads them, on and on, down his hellish road,
Cleverly persuading, with tricky goads.

As you read these words, that concern eternity,
Are you racing to Hell? Or to Heaven so free?
The choice belongs to no one, except you,
Which road will you choose? The false one, or the true?

Which one? That broad one that Satan makes easy,
That billions of his children, follow with glee?
More and more vile sinners, join Satan's crowd,
And of their wicked sins, they are pleased and proud.

Which one? That broad, dark, easy to travel one?
Or the narrow path, as you follow God's Son"
Both roads will lead, to your eternity,
Which of these two roads, for you? Hell's prison? Or Heaven's glory?

Eternal death (Pro.8:36; Jn.3:18,36; 8:24; Mk.16:16; Acts 4;12; Rom.1:18; 4:15; 5:9; Gal.3:10; Eph.5:6; 1 Thes.1:10; 5:9;  Heb.2:3; 10:26-29; 12:25; Rev.6:16-17)
Eternal life: (Mat.25:46;  Mk.10:17,30; Jn.3:15-16; 6:4; 10:28; 17:2; Rom.5:21; 6:23; 1 Tim.6:12,19; 1 Jn.5:10-13,20).
Matthew 7:13-14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
(KJV) John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Who helps me, in my time of need?
‘Tis Jesus my Lord, on whom I feed.
He’s always there, no matter the hour,
Giving me strength, from His mighty pow’r.

Who comforts me, when I’m in pain?
‘Tis Jesus who relieves, my stress and strain.
No matter what, He’s always near,
Pouring out His love, to calm my fear.

Who is it that encourages me?
‘Tis Jesus who gives me, victory.
His awesome love, deep down I feel,
Bless me Lord Jesus, as I humbly kneel.

Who is it who shows me such great love?
‘Tis Jesus, from His glory above.
No one can e’er love me, more than He,
Such grand love He shows, abundantly.

Who is it who won’t leave or forsake?
‘Tis Jesus, who keeps all Promises He makes.
I don’t have to worry, He’s always close by,
Jesus will never, my prayers deny.

Who is it who holds Glory Land’s key?
‘Tis Jesus, the Lord of eternity.
A mansion awaits me, way up high,
For His righteousness, made me qualify.

Who am I? simply a nobody,
To the world’s eyes, and as most see.
Yet to the One, that it matters most,
I’m somebody, and of this I boast.

I’m a child of the Almighty King,
And this message, to lost souls I’ll bring.
From a beggar on poverty row,
To royalty, on whom great blessings flow.

I’m no longer a guilt-laden soul,
Since I gave Christ Jesus full control.
He had mercy, and He pardon’d me,
And since that day, I’m a somebody.

Who am I? somebody in God’s eyes,
Because His Son, I no longer deny.
A child of God; and in His family,
Thank You Jesus, You made me somebody.

Religions today say: “Do something and be somebody.”
God says: “Be somebody, then do something.”

Just who is ‘wicked’ in God’s eyes?
ANYONE, who will Jesus deny!
ALL who refuse to believe God,
ALL who think Jesus is a fraud.

MOST don’t consider themselves ‘wicked’,
But without Christ, they are as dead.
Spiritually dead, in God’s eyes,
Doomed to Hell in the by and by.

Thoughts of the ‘wicked’ God does hate,
He is far from them, shutting the gate.
He won’t accept their sacrifice,
All that they offer, He denies!

Prayer from the ‘wicked’ WON’T be heard,
Tho’ they speak, with wondrous words.
He will hide His eyes, turn His back,
For it is Jesus, whom they lack!

If you reject Christ, God’s own Son,
To God, you are ‘wicked’, and He’ll shun.
Your unbelief calls God a liar,
And you are headed, for Hell-fire.

The greatest sin is unbelief,
Unless you change, you’ll have much grief.
Turn to Jesus, trust Him today,
He’s God’s own Son; He’s the ONLY Way!

Who are these that are ‘poor in spirit’?
It’s those whose lives to God they commit.
They depend on God for ev’rything,
They realize from God all blessings spring.

‘Those who mourn’, do you know who are these?
Those grieving sin, as a horrid disease.
The nature and results of sin they grieve,
For themselves and others, they are bereav’d.

Who are ‘the meek’ of whom Jesus talks?
It’s those willing to walk, as He did walk.
Living life under God’s authority,
And thanking Him for the serenity.

Who hungers and thirsts for righteousness?
It’s those who love God, and want Him to bless.
Those who accept God’s good and right things,
Those who love and praise Him, and to Him sing.

Those who are ‘merciful’, who are they?
Those who try God’s character to portray.
Showing undeserved compassion and love,
On all those around, as God above.

Too, of ‘the pure in heart’ Jesus speaks,
These strive earnestly God’s will to seek.
God’s Word simply cleanses them inside,
And God’s Spirit in them does abide.

Jesus speaks of ‘the peacemakers’ too,
They have a great job that they pursue.
They reconcile people to their God,
And to each other as this Earth we trod.

Does God’s Word state, who’s doomed to Hell?
Friend, over and over, it does tell.
Except that a man be ‘born again’,
He’ll not see Heaven; ‘tis very plain!

You must be born into God’s family,
And from all sin you must want to flee.
All that love God, are begotten of Him,
You must obey, or Heaven is dim.

The Gospel of our Lord, you must obey,
Or vengeance will fall on Judgment Day.
Eternal separation, God will give,
In Hell, for eternity, you will live.

If you choose this day not to know God,
Rejecting salvation, as you trod,
The ‘Day’ will come, God won’t want you near,
Your cries of pure agony, He won’t hear.

Our life here on Earth is very fleet,
One day soon, Almighty God we’ll meet!
When He does issue your last decree,
Will it be: “HELL FOR ETERNITY”?

Lord, who shall dwell in Thy Holy Hill?
Just those who love You, and do Your will.
Lord, You clearly state who that will be,
Your Holy Book tells us, so clearly!

We must walk uprightly, on our path,
If we are to avoid, Your righteous wrath.
We must work righteousness, as we go,
Or Your displeasure, will cause us sorrow.

We must speak the Truth, we must not lie,
Or on Your blessings, we cannot rely.
Our tongue must not blaspheme, or backbite,
Our speech should always, be good and upright.

To our neighbor, we must do no wrong,
O Lord, Your Words on this, are quite strong.
We must not take reproach, to those around,
If we want Your blessings to abound.

Contemned is a vile person, in Your eyes,
Only Jesus, can ev’r make them wise.
Lord, You honor all those, that fear you,
Trust and obey, is what we should do!

To our precious Lord, belongs our shield,.
All we need do, is trust and yield.
Let us sing of His mercies, always,
For His mercy is built up, all our days.

Your wonders Lord, the heavens praise,
Let us to You, our thankfulness raise.
Your faithfulness is what we can count on,
‘Tis shown so wondrously, thru’ Your Son.

Who can ever be compared to You?
No one has the majesty to construe.
You alone Lord, we must greatly fear,
Let us humbly bow, as your Throne we near.

Who, O Lord, has Your tremendous might?
Faithfulness surrounds You, day and night.
You rule the violent, raging sea,
Or calm it and still it completely.

Your mighty Arm is strong indeed,
All Creation is yours, and to You heed.
Justice and Truth are before Your Face,
Blest are all those who walk in Your grace.

God’s Hand is set o’er rivers and sea,
He alone can save, both you and me.
But is you do not trust and obey,
He must punish sin, there’s no other way.

His seed and Throne shall for e’er endure,
Just as the sun, moon and stars are sure.
You must be His friend, don’t cast Him away,

Questions: who, what, when, where, why, and how,
I will answer them all, for you now.
WHO? is Jesus? our Saviour and Lord,
To know Him not, you can’t afford!

WHAT? is it that Christ can do for you?
He’ll save your soul, IF you want Him to.
He paid the price when He died on that tree,
Redeem’d us from Hell, for eternity!

WHEN? should I turn to Him, to save me?
Now is the time; He’ll grant victory.
Jesus is the Christ; do you believe?
By your faith, salvation you’ll receive.

WHERE? would be the right and proper place?
Any place at all; God will grant His grace.
Humble yourself, repent and be saved,
You’ll no longer be the devil’s slave.

WHY? do you need Jesus as Saviour?
Only the Christ, Heaven can ensure.
Without Him, there’s just the door to Hell,
And there in agony, you will dwell.

HOW? can you reach that city of gold?
Accept Christ, and you’re into God’s fold.
You’ll no longer be God’s enemy,
You’ll be God’s child, for eternity!

There are so many times we ask “Why?”,
Our sad heart simply breaks as we cry.
A loved one is gone; taken away,
A true ‘Friend’ can help, and be our stay!

“Why?”, we do ask when dire troubles come,
We can’t seem to discern, gone is wisdom.
These times are dreadful, and we have fear,
There is ‘One’ who can help, and He is near!

“Why? did this ever happen to me?
Do I deserve this kind of agony?”
Hard times will come to each one that lives,
Just our loyal ‘Friend’, true comfort gives!

When fiery trials on you befall,
It’s a way of testing, the great and small.
One of two choices you have in store,
Turn your back on God; or love Him more!

When disaster strikes, don’t ask God “Why?”,
Run to His arms; don’t ever deny.
He’ll strengthen, encourage, and comfort you,
He’ll not leave nor forsake, He’s always true!

Why do I do things I want not to do?
Every day, as I start out anew?
Some things I do make me so ashamed,
I’ve no excuse, I’m completely to blame!

I should try to be like my dear Lord,
I know I should live as He says in His Word.
But each day I fall short, and I do sin,
Why do I let Satan continue to win?

Instead of sharp angry words that cause strife,
I should speak e’er lovingly in my life!
Instead of many frowns, and those harsh stares,
I should always smile, and show others I care.

Instead of looking for faults in others,
I should look for good in my brothers.
Instead of thinking or doing mean things,
I should show deep love, and happiness bring.

I’m so ashamed of the awful I do,
Sins so dark, they can’t be misconstrued.
Please help me Jesus, more like you to be,
And from all my evils, please set me free.

Lord Jesus, why can’t I be more like you?
Why do I do the awful things I do?
I want to be kind and loving, yet I sin,
The old sinful nature just seems to win.

Instead of the harsh angry words I say,
Why can’t I your loving nature display?
My ready tongue is my worst enemy,
I ask your forgiveness and mercy.

Lord, let me pattern my life after you,
Help me to live life with your virtues.
Help me to do things in a better way,
Help me dear Lord, to trust and obey.

I do many things to hurt those around,
Evil deeds and words from me do abound.
When I hurt them, I hurt You, I know,
Please forgive me and your mercy show.

Lord, let your Spirit direct and guide,
Let me be humble, take away my pride.
Lord, let me be like you want me to be,
Lord Jesus, let me live more righteously.

Why are they so blind, why can’t they see?
Just Jesus controls eternity!
Ev’n some who proclaim Him, say it’s okay,
To put others first, as they walk their way.

Why can’t they see, why are they so blind?
To put earthly things first, and leave Him behind!
Why can’t they see, that Jesus is KING?
And that He comes first, o’er everything!

Why are they so blind, why can’t they see?
Their eyes cannot see eternity!
Stumbling at noon, as if it were night,
They simply don’t have spiritual sight.

Why can’t they see, why are they so blind?
Just worldly ‘things’ seem to fill their mind!
Can’t they see, only Jesus is true?
It breaks my heart, as their plight I view!

I know Satan has blinded them all,
Spiritually they grope around, but fall!
I know just Jesus can bring them ‘light,’
Just His wondrous grace can set them right.

Such great sadness, it just tears me apart,
That they can’t ‘see’ Jesus, with their heart!
Ev’n some who proclaim Him, to Him are not near,
Christ we should always love and revere!

Jesus said there would be just a few,
Who would walk the ‘strait’ road; find life anew!
Too, He said He would bring division,
To accept or reject God’s own Son!

Persecution comes if you take His side,
There always when in Him you abide!
But He is most important to me,
For I’m in His hand, for eternity!

Why do I do things, I know are wrong?
Lord, I want no part, of Satan's throng.
Things I know I should do, I do not,
It seems like in the devil's snare, I'm caught.

Oft when I sin, I think of Paul's dread,
It's as if on Satan's road, I'm being led.
Right from wrong, this I indeed do know,
Yet I mess up, and go with the flow.

The Bible is right, all sinners are we,
On our journey, to eternity.
Temptation deceives, the best of the best,
We must not give in, to our devilish pest.

God's rules are good, yet I disobey,
I do things that I hate, ev'ry day.
In my canal flesh, dwells no good thing,
Evil, no glory to God, will bring.

The good that I would, I do not do,
But Lord, all evil I do, upsets You.
The "new man" within me, hates all sin,
The battle goes on, the "new me" shall win!

A raging battle goes on, deep inside,
The bad and the new, both within me reside.
The old carnal me, still wrong things do,
But the new me, just wants right and true.

I praise God, for one day I'll sin no more,
For Christ paid my way, to the Heav'n'ly shore.
A sinless body, like His, He'll give to me,
And I'll sin no more, thru' eternity.

I look to the day, in the clouds You'll come,
And take all God's TRUE children, to Your Home.
Then I will do evil or wrong, no more,
I look forward to all, that's held in store.

Romans 7:14-25 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (KJV)
1 Cor.15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (KJV)
Phil.3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (KJV)
Jesus sinless: Isa.53:9; 2 Cor.5:21; Heb.4:15; 7:26; 9:28; 1 Pet.2:22.
Spiritual bodies, like Jesus: John 3:6; Rom.8:11; 1 Cor.15:50-53; 1 John 3:1-3, no more sin ever again!
John 14:1-6; 1 Pet.1:3-5; Rev.21 & 22

I know I should not worry or fear,
I should trust You, for I know You are near.
E’er so subtly, Satan tempts me,
And I fail You, and lose victory.

Why do I fail You, as oft’ as I do?
Why can’t I trust, obey and be true?
Why do I to wickedness, give in?
When I know in my heart, You hate sin!

I know doubt should not enter my mind,
I know to Satan, I should be blind.
Yet sometimes I do doubt my place in Heav’n,
And doubt that all my sins are forgiv’n.

Lord, over and over, You I fail,
My correcting it, is to no avail.
Without You, Lord, I can’t do a thing.
Your help and wisdom, are true blessings.

I know that within me, no good thing dwells,
On my own, no evil can I quell.
The good that I should do, I do not do,
But evil I don’t want, bursts on thru’.

All the things that I hate, that do I,
On my own Lord, I can’t qualify.
My old nature wars, with the new me,
O Lord, free me from sin’s captivity.

A truly, woeful and wretched man, that’s me,
On my own, I cannot have victory.
Lord Jesus, how I do thank You this day,
Just You can keep me on that narrow way.

Lord Jesus, let Your light shine on my path,
I know just You can keep me from God’s wrath.
I truly thank You for what You have done,
I’m grateful I have trusted God’s own Son.

Romans 7:14-25

Why do I follow this Man, as I do?
When those in the world who serve Him are few?
Millions turn away, from what He does teach,
But there are some souls, that His Words do reach.

Why do I follow Him? Is it the glory?
No, it’s because He loves and forgives me.
It’s not for rewards I hope to receive,
It’s because His Words, I trust and believe.

Does He shelter me, from all suff’ring and pain?
No, I do have sunshine, but also rain.
I do have my burdens that I must bear,
But He helps me carry them, for He cares.

As I follow Jesus, I am never alone,
His Presence to me, is clearly shown.
Tho’ I never know what tomorrow brings,
I know He’ll bring my way, many blessings.

His love, joy and peace, and mercy abound,
Deep within my soul, His blessings are found.
His grace is sufficient, and there always,
That’s why I long to be with Him, all my days.

His Words of Truth redeem’d me, and inspire,
Words deep in my heart, like a burning fire.
I’ll follow this Jesus, each day I live,
And to those around me, His Words I’ll give.

I’ll follow this Man, Jesus, willingly,
Why He loves this sinner, is a mystery.
Ev’n tho’ those who follow Him are truly few,
The mystery is this, He loves me and you.

“You think your way is the only way,”
I’ve had people this, so smugly say.
Christ said “Believe on Him and be saved,”
If we don’t we’re condemned, and sin’s slave.

‘My way’ is the ‘WAY’ of God’s true Word,
‘Tis the one ‘True way’, all others are barred.
Christ is the ‘Way’, the ‘Truth’ and the ‘Life’,
All other ‘ways’ are false, and errors are rife.

Christ said there would be only a few,
Just look around , you’ll see His Words are true.
All the cults, great with people and power,
Will all , one day, before Jesus cower.

Christ Jesus and the Father are ‘ONE’,
Perfect in oneness, Father and Son.
When we believe, us they will save,
But if we reject, we’re Satan’s slave.

Why do I know they’re wrong, and I’m right?
Just open the Bible; God will shed light.
Folks will give heed to seducing spirits,
And to doctrines of devils they’ll submit.

Selfish, covetous, blasphemers, proud,
Unthankful, unholy, a fierce crowd.
Traitors, lovers of self, and hate God,
No natural affection, the world abroad.

All these things and more are here this day,
Most folks join in such shameless display.
I know I’m right, ‘cause I believe God,
For He’s Almighty God, and not a fraud.

Jesus’ marvelous peace, comes to our aid!

He gives me His Spirit, to dwell within,
A Great Assistance, to keep me from sin!
So many reasons, why I love the Lord,
As I look forward, to a Heav’n’ly reward.

How I love Thee Lord, for so many ways,
For You are with me, ev’ry part of my days.
As I awaken in the morning’s dim light,
I know You are present in my ev’ry plight.

Lord, I do love Thee, with each breath I take,
Life without You, is a serious mistake.
Thru’ all my troubles, with me You do walk,
Leading and guiding in my deeds and talk.

Lord I truly love Your Presence so near,
Feeling You close, chases away my fear.
Lord I do love Thee for the peace You give,
Awesome contentment, as my life I live.

Lord I do love Thee, You bring joy my way,
For I know Heav’n is mine, some blessed day.
A mansion awaits, reserved in my name,
Seeing You Face to face Lord, is my aim.

Lord I do love Thee, for You first loved me,
You died on the cross, to give me victory.
You left the great glory of Heav’n above,
You sacrificed for me, there’s no greater love.

You cast far away all my wickedness,
I am forgiv’n, no guilt do I possess.
I love Thee Lord, for the things that You do,
Mostly Lord I love Thee, because You are You.

Why do I love Thee? there’s so many ways,
First and foremost, for the love You display.
Lord, just You can give life eternally,
You made me God’s child, my new identity.

“Why do I need Christ?” so many ask,
As they continue in sin to bask.
“Jesus” they say, “Of Him I have no need,”
As they strive for worldly goods, in sheer greed!

“Why do I need Christ?” some scoff and jeer,
The ‘Good News’ of Him, they don’t want to hear!
They keep traveling down the devil’s path,
Storing up for themselves the Father’s wrath!

“Why do I need Christ?” I said once too,
For I did rebel, the same as you!
Then one sweet day ev’ry thing did change,
Jesus, my whole life, did rearrange!

I clearly saw my NEED for Him was great,
And no longer did I hesitate!
I open’d the door to my stubborn heart,
Christ came in, and gave me a whole new start!

He saved my soul from Hell’s agony,
And from the bonds of sin, He set me free!
He replaced my cold heart, with one of love,
And filled it with peace and joy from above!

Why do YOU need Christ? I’ll tell you true,
Just Jesus can make a brand new you!
He’ll give you the ‘key’ to Heaven’s door,
And grant great blessings just He holds in store!

Many are the reasons why I trust Thee,
Your awesome love, throughout eternity.
Your Promises are sure, without a doubt,
None of Your children will You e’er shut out.

Lord, You cannot lie, You are always true,
And when You judge, You are just thru’ and thru’.
Enduring fore’er is Your constant mercy,
And when You forgive, it’s for eternity.

I have confidence You’ll do what You say,
Truth and fairness belong to You, always.
To depend on You, You’ve proved I can do,
Assurance is mine, when You I pursue.

I can rely on You, to fill my needs,
When on You and Your Word, I truly feed.
For a much better day, You give me hope,
I know Heaven is mine, I need not mope.

With certainty, I know You hear my praye’r,
For Your amazing grace, proves that You care.
When I trust You in faith, it pleases You,
I know You will guide in paths right and true.

You are my God of great integrity,
With You alone is there Truth and honesty.
Lord I know I can trust You in ev’ry way,
But trust is just a part, I must obey.

Why do people, from God turn away?
They’ll give many answers in this day.
The Gospel offends in their life’s stride,
It annoys their thoughts, and revolts their pride.

Some love the darkness rather than light,
So from the love of God, they take flight.
Evil companions make some turn back,
Diligence and faith is what they lack.

Of persecution, some are afraid,
So the Word of God they will evade.
To false doctrine they’ll listen instead,
It seems that of Hell they have no dread.

Some turn back when circumstances change,
They don’t want God their lives to re-arrange.
They run from God when troubles arise,
Instead of loving, Him they despise.

So many leave for sensual joy,
Their bond with God, they simply destroy.
Some turn back for worldly wealth and fame,
They forget about our Saviour’s Name.

Did you turn back from the God of love?
Do you not want a mansion above?
If you’ve turned away; it’s not too late,
Turn back to Him now; our Lord, so great!

My Lord, why do You put up with me?
I’m filled with sin and iniquity.
A sinner, from the day I was born,
Precious Lord, for my sin, I do mourn.

I’d understand, if You’d turn away,
But You promise, to be with me alway.
This humble sinner, to You does turn,
And for Your loving grace, I do yearn.

There are many things I do, I should not do,
Yet my old nature, goes barging thru’.
Many things I say, I should not say,
Your mournful servant, sins ev’ry day.

Things that I should do, I do not do,
Ev’n tho’ I try, to keep my mind on You.
A grieving sinner, before You stands,
My heart and my life, are in Your Hands.

You do put up with a lot from me,
So awesome is Your grace and mercy.
Forgiveness I ask, from You each day,
You ne’er refuse, but forgive alway.

I’m a wretched sinner, deliver me,
I want out of sin’s captivity.
Present within me, is wickedness,
Lord help me instead, to have blessedness.

On my own, I can do nothing at all,
On my own, I’d have, such a great fall.
Just with You Lord, can I have victory,
A mansion in Heav’n, eternally.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for ev’ry thing,
Thank You for all Your wondrous blessings.
Thank You for Your wisdom, pow’r, and grace,
Thank You that one day, that I’ll see Your Face!

If you are God’s child, suffering is good for you,
It may not seem so at the time, but this is true!
Suffering draws us much closer to our God,
It shows that we need Him as our road we trod.

He sends suffering and trials, our faith to test,
Tho’ at times it seems that He gives us no rest.
We are to rejoice, o’er the good AND the bad,
Someday in Heaven, we be extremely glad.

He gives suffering, to take away our pride,
He wants us to be meek; He wants to be our Guide.
It’s not too much to ask, He wants us to be wise,
Pride puts you in Hell, so you, He wants to revise.

Suffering teaches us, on Him we should depend,
But it seems o’er and o’er, our God we offend.
There’s nothing that we can do, on our very own,
If it doesn’t come from God, all we do is groan.

Suffering teaches patience, in our very life,
For without patience, we’ll surely have strife.
God wants us to simply upon Him to wait,
He’s always there, just be patient at His gate.

We feel pity for suffering, of those all about,
And once we go thru’ it, we’ll surely know the route.
Only then can we truly know, what they go thru’,
Then we can give comfort, the same that God gave you.

Suffering also makes us much more like our Lord,
NO one suffered more than Him; look in His Word!
Why should we be so bitter, and to God complain?
Each time we suffer, or have a little pain?

Lord, why did You choose me, to teach Your Way,
To all the many lost souls, day after day?
Help me dear Lord, for I too, go astray.

When I teach them knowledge, I truly know,
My candle of wisdom, flickers too low!
Help me dear Lord, that my knowledge may grow.

When I teach them love, for all mankind,
And to be mild and gentle, I drag far behind.
Lord, let Your Spirit fill me with love so kind.

Lord, if their guide and teacher, I must be,
Dear Lord, let all those around me clearly see,
This humble servant, leaning hard on Thee!

They should ask: "Why not me?"

Why should we thank our Creator God?
Many do ask, as wrong paths they trod.
There are many things to thank Him for,
And many more that He holds in store.

Thank Him for forgiveness; He makes us clean,
Removing our sins, we are pristine.
From evil He shall deliver me,
And preserve me for Heav’n, that’s so free.

Thank Him for protection; we need not fear,
For we know that He is always near.
We should thank Him for strength, to live life,
With His strength, we can conquer all strife.

Thank Him for provisions, for each day,
Food, drink, and clothes; He’ll provide a way!
What about prayers, He answers for you?
His children He hears, and will be true.

We should thank Him for wisdom, giv’n free,
All we do is ask, either you or me.
Thank Him for spiritual growth each day,
Being more like Christ, in all our ways.

Thank Him for choosing you to be His child,
And having your name, in Heav’n’s Book filed.
Thank Him for preparing a place for you,
Reserved in Heav’n, by Christ, so true.

If God spared not the angels that did sin,
But cast them to Hades; all chained within.
Reserved in the darkness; judgment to wait,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you do hate.

If God spared not the old world, way back then,
But brought a flood, where the ungodly had been.
Saved just Noah’s family, out of respect,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you reject.

If God spared not Sodom and Gomorrha,
But turned them to ashes from brimstone and fire.
Made them an example, to not live in sin,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you won’t win.

God won’t spare filthy dreamers of today,
That preach Heaven by some other way.
And the ones that listen, and take it all in,
Won’t be spared either, for it’s all sin!

God made just one Way of salvation for man,
We must BELIEVE Him; accept His only plan!
God sent His own Son to take away our sin,
Unless you believe and accept Christ; you can’t win!

(2 P.2;4-9; 1 P.4:17-18; Jn.3:15-18,36; 8:24; 14:6)

God will not hear sinners; His Word is plain,
All His Words are true, and always the same.
What is a ‘SINNER’ in God’s holy eyes?
‘Tis one who rejects Christ; and Him, deny.

If any worship God, and do His will,
God hears those prayers; with answers to fill.
“The Lord taketh pleasure in His people,”
He’s happy to bless, and make their lives full.

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,”
Believing in faith, walking in accord.
God is far from the wicked, ev’ry where,
But He hears the righteous’ humble prayer.

God does not want our strength; just willingness,
Just trust in Him, you will have great success.
The power of Christ, will rest upon you,
Glory in your weakness, each day anew.

Ps.149:4; 102:24; 27:1; Pro.15:29; Jer.17:5-8; Heb.11:6)

Will I know Him that day, when Him I see?
In the clouds above, coming for me?
The Rapture will be, one awesome day,
And by God’s ‘clock’, it’s not far away!

Will I know Him, at the Judgment Seat?
When Christ judges all my works complete?
By what motives I had, He will judge,
Never from righteousness, will He budge!

Will I really know Him, when Him I see?
In my eternal Home, waiting for me?
He’ll have more glory, that street of gold,
Or the glist’ning walls, God’s Word has foretold!

When Jesus I see, will Him I know?
When His true glory, and brightness show?
I will know Him, and fall at His Feet,
When my precious Saviour, I finally meet!

Though I’ve never seen my precious Lord,
And His actual Voice, I’ve never heard,
‘Tis a fact; I’ll know Him, when Him I see,
For He’s etched on my heart, eternally!
