Question Poems

These are poems that will stir your conscience.

ARE YOU AWARE?

Are you aware of God’s righteousness?
Our Lord will NEVER break a promise.
When He judges, it is always true,
Whether we’re right OR wrong, me and you.

Are you aware of God’s holiness?
He cannot lie; He’s pure and sinless.
Fear Him; glorify God, so holy,
Our God is holy eternally.

Are you aware of our Lord’s goodness?
He is good, wanting just to bless.
The Earth is full of the goodness of God,
Where e’er you may be, where e’er you trod.

Are you aware of the power of God?
He made the universe, wide and broad.
All the world’s controls are in His Hand,
He makes all the calls, thru’ out the land.

Are you aware of His wondrous grace?
His merciful love, we oft’ debase.
He grants to sinners eternal life,
Far from Hell’s dark agony, so rife.

Please be aware of God’s endless love,
If you want to see Heaven above.
God loves us so much; He made a Way,
His Son will take us to His Home some day.

ARE YOU A BACKSLIDER?

Has prayer in your life come to a halt?
Do you blame God for things, say it’s His fault?
When over your life you do so reflect,
Do you find you no longer, God respect?

Have you stopped studying God’s good Word?
Are you smug with what you know of our Lord?
Do you make excuses, from church to stop?
Fellowship with others, we shouldn’t drop.

Have you stopped applying His Word to life?
Is recreation and pleasure with you rife?
Do you mouth hymns and Scripture without heart?
Do earthly ‘things’ make you from God depart?

Can you watch the filth on movies and TV?
Or read dirty books, you shouldn’t ev’n see?
Some just wouldn’t miss their favorite show,
But the weakest excuse, and church they’ll not go.

Are you content with lack of His power?
With His help, you wouldn’t have to cower.
Has your heart gotten so cold and hard?
That tears for the lost, you need not retard?

Do you go along with the world’s lifestyle?
Compromising your morals, the whole while?
The backslider is full of his own ways,
Is this what you want, the rest of your days?

A backslider is unfaithful to God,
Turned aside from his way, as he does trod.
If this describes you, turn back to His way,
Don’t wander from Him, even one more day!

ARE YOU ASHAMED OF THE LORD JESUS

WHY are people, ashamed of the Lord?
Going this route, they cannot afford!
Their mind's eye, is as blind as can be,
They ne'er consider, eternity!

If the Lord Jesus, you do deny,
The gate of Hell, to you shall apply!
To turn your back, on the King of kings,
Is absolutely, a horrid thing!

God the father, made only one Plan,
Long, long ago, to save sinful man.
That Plan, is God's only begotten Son,
To believe this, salvation's begun!

You cannot call Holy God, a "liar,"
That will lead you, to the Lake of Fire.
Not believing God, is a deadly sin,
Enemies of God, Heaven will not win!

WHY do so many, have so much fear,
To speak of Jesus, and hold Him near?
To be ashamed of Him, is SO wrong,
It simply puts you, in Satan's throng!

Ashamed of Christ?? You're on the broad road.
And that leads only, to Hell's abode!
At the Great White throne, the Judge shall say,
To the Lake of Fire, you will go this day!

Jesus loves you, loves you SO much friend,
Wants eternity, with you to spend.
He lives in Heaven, do you want there to go?
Or will your home be, Hell's horrid sorrow?

Do not be ashamed, of Jesus the Lord!
Proudly tell others, of Him and His Word!
Not believing God, leads to God's wrath,
And that is, a most treacherous path!

What profit is it, the whole world to gain?
And the depths of Hell instead, you attain?
Everlasting destruction, you want not,
Accept Christ and the Heav'nly home, for you He bought!

By: His servant, Connie Kramer July 18,2011 #1310

The above poem came after my husband spoke to a family member last night, who refuses to tell loved ones about Jesus.

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (KJV) . . . We should be PROUD of Jesus, and grateful for all that he has done for us, not ashamed of Him!

Mat.16:24-27 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (KJV) . . . We should deny SELF, not Jesus!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) . . . Billions of people refuse to believe God and His Holy Word! NOT all faiths (religions, churches) lead to Heaven! JESUS is the ONLY WAY!

Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV) . . . IF you want to go to Heaven, you CANNOT be ashamed of Jesus!

John 3:15-18 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) . . . The Gospel in a nutshell!

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV) . . . YOUR choice!

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . Eternal life is yours the moment you truly believe!

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV) . . . Not believing God, places you in HELL! You do it! Not God! It's YOUR decision where you spend eternity!

1 John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV) . . . I pray that you believe the "record" that God gives of His Son! Please do NOT call God a "liar"! You shall regret it for eternity!

John 15:18-19 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (KJV) . . . IF you obey God, the world (unbelievers) will hate you, including your own family!

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) . . . There are only TWO roads leading to eternity! The broad one leads to HELL! The narrow one, which FEW ever find, leads to Heaven! YOUR choice.

Matthew 10:32-38 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. (KJV) . . . Jesus does NOT lie!

2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV) . . . You do NOT want to go to Hell! You do NOT have to go there!

ARE YOU BEAUTIFUL?

As a jewel of gold, in a pig’s snout,
‘Tis beauty, less discretion, round about.
Favor is deceitful; beauty vain,
But those who fear God, have much to gain.

Outward beauty is a fading flower,
Here today, gone with tomorrow’s hour.
God does hate your vanity and pride,
I do suggest you set them aside.

God desires from you, beauty down deep,
He just wants you to be one of His sheep.
With ‘life’ He will beautify the meek,
ETERNAL LIFE; if only Him you’ll seek.

From us, God wants spiritual beauty,
Beauty of the heart, for eternity.
A meek, quiet spirit, one which loves,
Is of great price to God, who lives above.

The Lord takes pleasure in all His own,
If you are His, your path will be shown.
Worry only of your beauty within,
Live life for Jesus, away from sin.

ARE YOU GOD’S ENEMY?

His righteousness is near; list’ to me,
God wants to be your friend, not enemy!
He wants you in, His fam’ly above,
For all His children, He surely does love.

God’s enemy, you don’t want to be,
For dark Hell will be, your destiny.
Instead you need to trust, Christ to save,
You’ll ‘overcome’; no longer sin’s slave.

Christ can save you; He’s the ONLY One,
Save you from Hell, and God will not shun.
You’ll spend eternity in Heav’n above,
Thanks be to God, and His endless love.

What a marvelous place Heav’n must be,
And YOU can live there, for eternity.
God devised A Way to get us there,
Accept His Son Jesus; He paid the fare.

Jesus is the Truth, Life, and Way,
Accept Him, and live in Heav’n some day.
Just ONE option remains; that is Hell,
Reject Jesus; and there you shall dwell.

ARE YOU GRATEFUL?

Are you, to Jesus, grateful this day?
For He gives the ‘key’ to Heav’n’s gateway!
He offers to us, life eternally,
And from our sin, He has set us free!

Are you grateful to Jesus, our Lord?
He’s our Saviour, as told in God’s Word!
He saves, from sin’s degradation,
How I praise, His wondrous salvation!

Are you grateful, to our Lord this day?
He is the Truth, the Life and only Way!
Belief in Him, gives eternal life,
In Heaven’s realm, where there is no strife!

We should be grateful, for what He’s done,
For we’re saved from Hell, by God’s own Son!
God blesses us, with love and mercy,
And great joy and peace, abundantly!

Showers of blessings, from on High,
Shall continue, in the by and by!
Are you grateful to the Lord this day?
For tremendous blessings, He sends our way!

ARE YOU ONE OF THE FEW?

Many in the past, have felt Your Hand,
And You’ve blessed their efforts, thru’ out the land.
For when You called, they did not turn away,
They willingly loved, trusted and obeyed.

Many invitations, You do send,
It’s so sad that most, You do offend.
But the few who accept, are privileg’d indeed,
For Your awesome touch, they did heed.

So very privileg’d, and special am I,
For the Lord’s call, I did not deny.
On my own, I’d never be worthy,
But praise God, His Son gives vict’ry.

I’m privileg’d to be, one of the few,
For Lord, I believe, and follow You.
You have touched me, in a special way,
And Lord, I’ll be grateful, all my days.

One of the favored ones, you can be too,
You can be one of the privileg’d few.
Jesus is knocking at your heart’s door,
Open to Him for blessings, for ever more!

ARE YOU READY?

Are you ready, for the coming of the Lord?
Are you really grounded, in His living Word?
He’s able to keep, what you commit to Him,
Not like all the cults, that follow ev’ry whim.

Do you know for certain, that you are saved?
Or, do you follow Satan, and are depraved?
Will you be ready, on that day He does come?
Or will you continue, away from Him to roam?

Are you grounded in the power of your faith?
Are you ready for that fateful day of death?
Our time here on Earth is so very short,
Are you letting Satan, Heav’nly life abort?

Time is uncertain; like vapour in the air,
We’re here a while; then gone: do you know where?
Do you know the ‘place’ where forever you’ll dwell?
Let me ask you this: is it Heaven, or Hell?

Are you ready to meet the Almighty God?
All will stand before Him, the world abroad.
God has made ‘a’ plan to save your very soul,
Accept His plan, Jesus; you’re on Heaven’s roll!

Change your destination, if you’re on the wrong path,
Just trust in Jesus, will keep you from God’s wrath.
Believe God; trust Jesus; let Him take control,
And you will be ready, when He comes for your soul.

ARE YOU WISE OR FOOLISH?

A wise man will hear, and increase learning,
The need to know God, is a constant yearning.
“But fools despise wisdom and instruction,”
Sad to say, they’re headed for destruction.

“Rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee,”
From the wrong he does, he wants to flee.
“Fools will despise the wisdom of thy words,”
So answer not, lest ye be in accord.

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise,”
All that he learneth, he shall not despise.
“A companion of fools shall be destroyed,”
Where they’re headed, they won’t be o’er joyed.

“The law of the wise is a fountain of life,”
In the coming life, there shall be no strife.
God says: “The thought of foolishness is sin,”
Just with Christ, does eternal life begin!

He says: “A fool uttereth all his mind,”
One who ‘knows it all’, do you know the kind?
It is the will of God, always has been,
The wise put to silence, those foolish men.

God states: “The wise man’s eyes are in his head,”
Night is nothing for them ever to dread.
“But the fool always walketh in darkness,”
He’s simply blind, and the Lord, he won’t confess.

Who are wise? and fools? in the eyes of the Lord?
You can find the answer in His good Word.
Are you wise; one who buildeth on the “Rock”?
Or a fool; who’ll never be in God’s flock?

DO YOU DO TO OTHERS?

Do you speak cross words, when you could be nice?
Do you always TAKE, never sacrifice?
Those that you love, do you tell them you care?
Or go thru’ life as if they were not there?

Our life here on Earth is so very brief,
We should try our best, not to cause folks grief.
Do only what you would want done to you,
A good rule to live by; proven and true!

We don’t know when God will call us away,
Neither those we love; time we cannot sway.
Guard the words you say, and the deeds you do,
Or you may regret , in days that ensue.

If we treat a loved one mean and low,
Thru’ hateful words or deeds, causing sorrow.
What if God would call that person away?
Could you bear the guilt, the rest of your days?

We all need to take a look at our life,
Do we bring happiness? or cause much strife?
Do and say to others, only good things,
You’ll reap what you sow, for that’s what life brings.

Have you hurt or injured someone you love?
It’s easy, in this world of push and shove.
Apologize! make their hurt go away,
Friend, YOU’LL be blessed, as you go your way.

DO YOU KNOW THE ‘CHRIST’?

Do you know the ‘Christ’ who was crucified?
Or are you ‘of the world’, and have denied?
He died on that Cross, to save your soul,
He has power, and is in full control.

Do you know ‘Christ’, who died on that Cross?
If you don’t, your soul shall suffer loss.
He died to save you, from God’s just wrath,
And take you from, Hell’s agonizing path.

He came to pay a debt, He didn’t owe,
Redeem us from Hell, and God’s love bestow.
He came, for our debt, we could not pay,
I’m grateful that in Heav’n, He didn’t stay.

Do you know ‘Christ’, the martyred One?
He’s our precious Jesus, God’s own Son!
He died, ‘tis true; but God raised Him again,
Was resurrected; the first of all men.

Do you know ‘Christ’, Shepherd of God’s sheep?
Or is your soul, to Him fast asleep?
Friend, I pray you’ll awaken today,
If you plan on Heav’n, He’s the only ‘WAY’!

You must know ‘Christ’, our Saviour and Lord,
He’s clearly portrayed in God’s Word!
He can give you the ‘key’ to Heav’n’s gate,
Trust and accept Him, ‘fore it’s too late!

DO YOU NEED REVIVAL?

Is your life, as it really should be?
Or are there ‘things’ from which, you should flee?
Like a mirror, so clear, is God’s Word,
It shows the true us, and won’t retard.

Have you slipped away, from our Lord?
Do you no longer walk in accord?
Like lost, wandering sheep, we go astray,
Lord God, bring us back to the right way.

Have you wandered from, your rightful place?
Do you no longer seek, His Holy Face?
Like a bird that wandereth, from her nest,
Lord, bring us back, to give us your best.

Do you have indifference in your heart?
This helps Satan’s cause, in a large part.
O, don’t restrain God’s love and power,
Turn back to Him now, this very hour.

Do you have bitterness deep inside?
It’s Satan’s trick; you’re letting him guide.
Do you speak evil, and often curse?
We must not let evil, us emerse.

Let the wicked one, forsake his way,
Let him return, to the Lord this day.
Put away all evil, with a heart contrite,
Only then, with God, can we get it right.

Do You Qualify??

If you have not accepted Christ today,
May I ask: “Just what is your delay?”
One day soon, He’ll come in the clouds on high,
None too soon, for you to qualify.

Why do you refuse to open the door?
You don’t realize, what He holds in store.
He stands knocking, but won’t force His way in,
When you open the door, blessings begin.

You must qualify, or He won’t call you,
You must believe on Christ, be one of the few.
Have you opened your heart’s door, to the Lord?
Rejecting Him, you simply can’t afford.

Do you qualify, for Heaven above?
Have you considered His amazing love?
Only Christ Jesus has Heaven’s one key,
Just He can give you life eternally!

You must overcome, to enter Heaven,
Victory is only to those few given.
Faith is the answer, to this victory,
Do you qualify, for life eternally?

DO YOU REALLY LOVE HIM?

“I love You, Lord Jesus,” we often say,
But, do we His will, truly obey?
To obey our Lord, shows our love for Him,
And our faith increases; will not grow dim.

Do you say “I love You Lord,” and go your own way?
Willfully disobeying, day after day?
Do you feel God’s Spirit, convicting you?
Yet turn aside from all you know to be true?

To love Him is to fear Him, constantly,
We must acknowledge His sovereignty.
Reverencing Him, we must trust and obey,
True love for God, comes no other way.

If we truly love Him, we abide in His love,
And we’ll bask in His sunshine, from above.
We feel the warmth of Christ’s love when we obey,
Reaching out to serve Him, day after day.

If we truly love and honor Christ in our heart,
His delightful Presence, will ne’er depart.
Jesus will be honored, by the life you live,
When You reach out to others, love to them you give.

DO YOU RENOUNCE HIDDEN THINGS?

Do you renounce hidden things of shame?
That you may bring glory to His Name?
Do you have a sense of immense pride?
Pride goes before a fall; cast it aside!

Are you dishonest; have crafty ways?
Would you cheat some one on any day?
All these things, you must renounce my friend,
O so clear, is the Message God sends!

Do strife and envy and jealousy,
Have a place in your heart? O they must flee!
Malice and bitterness; they too must go,
Renounce them, if Christ you will follow!

Deep in your heart, do you nurse a grudge?
Do you others’ actions, critically judge?
To your brothers a bad attitude show,
Forsake them my friend, they just bring sorrow!

Secret things of shame, we hold deep down,
All unseen to others, cause God to frown!
We must renounce all these shameful things,
If we truly want, God’s priceless blessings!

2 Cor.4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. [KJV]

DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?

Do you see what I see, in our Lord?
Such great love, that He will not retard.
This wondrous love, to us freely giv’n,
Just thru’ this love, can we attain Heav’n.

Do you see what I see, in His Cross?
Without His death, we’d be total dross.
Our vile sin would mount, causing God’s wrath,
Without His Cross, we’d be on Hell’s path.

Do you see what I see, in His Blood?
Precious and holy; a cleansing flood.
As you kneel, in sheer humility,
His Blood will cleanse you, and make you free.

Do you see what I see, in His scars?
He paid the price; death should have been ours.
Those nails did not hold Him, to that tree,
Love held Him there, love for you and me.

Do you feel what I feel, in my heart?
Such joy and peace, it won’t e’er depart.
Contentment like this, just He can give,
Such wonderful blessings, as we live.

Do you see what I see in the world?
Wickedness by Satan, being hurled.
Christ will come in the clouds one day soon,
We must be ready; night, morn, or noon.

DO YOU TELL HIM?

Do you tell the Lord, that you love Him?
In bright sunshine, or the shadows dim?
Do you tell Him, you appreciate,
All His blessings, so awesome and great?

Do you tell Jesus, when you feel low?
Or when you are sad, and have sorrow?
Do you tell Him, when all things go wrong?
Do you ask Him to help, make you strong?

Do you tell Him, when Satan tempts you?
Or when you are troubled, thru’ and thru’?
Do you tell Jesus, when doubts arise?
Or times when you want, to compromise?

So many things, in our life take place,
We truly need, His amazing grace.
But you must go to Him, ev’ry day,
Ask Him to help you, in ev’ry way.

But too, we must tell Him that we care,
Tell Him we love Him, each day in pray’r.
Be grateful, thank Him, for all He’s done,
This wondrous Man, who is God’s own Son.

Christ is the Vine, I am just a branch,
Without His strength, I don’t have a chance.
He nourishes me, day after day,
And guides me with His Light, on my way.

I must tell Jesus, I care for Him,
Both in bright sunlight, and shadows dim.
A personal fellowship, with Him we need,
‘Tis our guarantee, that our pray’r He’ll heed.

DO YOU THANK HIM??

Do you thank Him, for His wondrous love?
Do you praise our God, in Heaven above?
Are you grateful, for what He’s done for you?
Only our Lord, could show love this true!

Do you thank Him, for His love each day?
Do you praise Him, for His excellent ways?
Are you glad He’s called you, to be His own?
Only God could make, such great love known!

Do you thank Him, for His amazing grace?
Do you praise Him, for your sins erased?
Do you show honor, to His Holy Name?
God gives great Promises, we can claim!

Do you thank Him, for His love divine?
Do you praise Him, for His care so fine?
Do you go to Him, in heart-felt prayer?
For ALL His children, He’s always there!

His wonderful love, is everlasting,
A wondrous ‘gift’ from Him; such a blessing!
Heaven is ours, ‘tis as good as done,
Because of the love, of God’s own Son!

DO YOU THINK ABOUT HELL?

Friend, did you ever have, any thoughts about Hell?
This place of torture, where so many shall dwell?
Many do not believe, there is such a place,
But it does exist, way deep down in space!

The New Testament often, of it does speak,
Over two hundred times, and none very weak!
God keeps on warning us, o’er and o’er again,
Wants us to avoid, all the distress and pain.

If you were traveling, one of Earth’s highways,
And you saw many warnings, along the way,
What would you do, plunge on directly ahead?
Or, turn around, and find a good road instead?

God has put up, many warning signs ahead,
He’s trying to point you, away from Hell’s dread!
But if you insist, and follow the wrong road,
God has only one choice: “Hell as your abode.”

“Am I trying to scare you?” this you might ask,
I certainly hope so, for this is my task.
Jesus taught more on Hell, than any other thing,
So what I do say, I have hopes it will sting.

If you have not thought about Hell, please do it now!
Heaven should be your goal, and I’ll teach you how!
God made just one Plan, to save our souls from Hell,
Believe, trust Jesus, and in Heaven you shall dwell!

HAS JESUS PASSED BY? . . . June 1997 message

Has Jesus passed by your way today?
Did you notice? as you went your way?
Or were you too busy? doing your thing?
To take time to see the gift He did bring?

Did Jesus pass by? and you not see?
The wonderful gift, for you, so free.
Were you embarrass’d to invite Him in?
Did you fear, your friends would mock and grin?

As you went on your merry old way.
Did you not see Jesus pass by today?
He just wants you to open the door,
He’ll give you the blessings He has in store.

Jesus won’t pass by, ‘less you reject,
His wondrous love, and gift so perfect.
Friend, please open the door of your heart,
He’ll not again pass by, nor depart.

Have you look’d for the lost, wand’ring stray?
On the dangerously dark, lonely highway?
Have you look’d in the hustling, bustling city?
God really wants us, to show some pity.

Have you look’d close by; in your neighborhood?
Do you honestly care, as you should?
The lost sheep of Jesus, are ev’rywhere,
It’s His deep desire, that you truly care!

Have you look’d closer still; in your family?
Perhaps you can change that lost sheep’s destiny!

Can I get to Heav’n, by beauty of my face?

Do you ever think of just how great He really is?

How Long???

Many more years, or an hour more,
None of us know what God holds in store.
All of us have an alloted time,
I do not know, when death will be mine.

We all dream dreams that never come true,
They just vanish, with the morning dew.
Instead we should think of eternity,
Because our time to go, is a mystery.

Some friends’ trust o’er the years, I could not reap,
Left alone in sorrow, I did weep.
But there is a true Friend, who does care,
In all pain and sorrow, He’s always there.

Tomorrow for you, may ne’er arrive,
Today may be your last day alive.
Dear Lord, teach us to number our days,
Life is so short, guide me in all right ways.

Our days are like a shadow that declines,
Life on Earth tomorrow, may not be mine.
Like cut grass, we all will wither and die,
We know not the day, we cannot deny.

Let’s apply our hearts to wisdom each day,
Let’s spend our time wisely in all our ways.
Many more years, or just an hour more,
Not one of us know what God has in store.

Let’s realize how brief life is, let’s use the little time we have more wisely and for eternal good. We never know from one day to the next what may happen. Take time to number your days. Ask yourself: “Is there something specific I should do before I die? What can I do to make this a reality? Am I right with God?”

HOW HIGH?

How high is morals, on your list today?
Is sexual lust, to you okay?
Many live in sin, and think it’s all right,
But God’s children must flee, with all their might!

Just how high is truth, rated on your list?
Do you all falsehoods, and lies resist?
Many gossip and lie, and wrongly speak,
But God’s children must always, truth seek!

How high on your list, is humility?
Do pride and arrogance, rule your day?
Many think being humble, is a weakness,
But God’s children this blessing, must possess!

How high on your list, is the thought of peace?
Thoughts of hatred in your heart, you must release!
For unity with our brothers, we must strive,
God’s children must have peace, to truly thrive!

Just how high on your list, is Godly love?
Do you allow God to bless you, from above?
Or do you let hate and malice, rule your heart?
From these awful things, God’s children must depart!

How high is Jesus on your list today?
He must be at the top, and He must lead the way!
If you want to lead a life, of righteousness,
Put Him at the top, and He’ll truly bless!

IF HE DIDN’T CARE

Would He have died, if He didn’t care?
My friend, His love is awesome and rare!
No one could love more than He,
And His love lasts, for eternity!

If He didn’t care, He’d not have died,
But He submitted, and was crucified!
His precious Blood, on the cross was shed,
That those who trust Him, would have no dread.

Would He have left Heaven’s security?
If He didn’t care, for you and me?
He left the glory of the heavenly host,
To come and suffer, on earthly coasts.

If He didn’t care, He wouldn’t have come,
Leaving the comfort of His heav’nly Home.
He loves us much; He really does care,
And our burdens of life, He does share.

If He didn’t care, He’d not be near,
But He abides, chasing away our fears.
He never leaves, never forsakes,
Lovingly forgives our horrid mistakes.

He does care! Our precious Saviour cares!
And all our troubles, He gladly shares!
What a blessing He is to us all,
His awesome love on us does befall.

IS JESUS THE MESSIAH???

Is Jesus the ‘Messiah’, the Anointed One?
Can He be the ‘Christ’, God’s only begotten Son?
Isaac tells, that a virgin would bear a son,
History agrees, yet He, the world does shun!

Mica tells, He’d be born in tiny Bethlehem,
Wise men came from the east, for His star told them.
Joseph and Mary from Herod, to Egypt, did run,
Hosea tells, God would call from Egypt, His own Son.

‘Tis told, He’d be despis’d and rejected of men,
He’d have grief and sorrows, o’er and o’er again.
When He came, most couldn’t see, to them it was dim,
He came to His own, but they wouldn’t receive Him!

David tell us, He’d be betrayed by a ‘friend’,
One of the twelve, did hand Him over in the end.
Zechariah tells, He would be sold for a price,
Judas did just that, and then fled into the night.

Psalms tells, many would hate Him without a cause,
When He came, their hate was ardent, and without pause.
Jesus tells, if we hate Him, we hate Jehovah too,
This for some is hard to grasp, but surely is true.

Jacob told many years back, when Messiah would come,
Judah lost rule, aft’ Shiloh came, their foe was Rome.
So many prophecies, Messiah did fulfill,
Why are His people, still of that stubborn will?

He’s there, for one and all; all Gentiles, and all Jews,
And He can save your soul from Hell, ‘Wonderful News’!
There’s just one plan of salvation; that’s God’s Son,
It’s the same worldwide; the same plan for ev’ry one!

??License To Sin??

"License to sin," a damnable heresy!
It leads folks away, from life eternally!
Once saved, always saved, these folks don't believe,
They teach salvation can be lost, and Hell received.

A person either believes the Bible, or they don't!
And Satan sees to it, that multitudes won't!
It's sad, that folks clutch these vain heresies,
When the Truth can get them, to the Heavenlies.

The devil is strong, blinding so many eyes,
Thus millions, God's Holy Word, they deny.
Your choice will decide, which place you will go,
Believe God, it's Heaven! If not, it's Hell below!

I just can't understand, WHY folks won't believe,
God's Word is Truth, yet folks refuse to receive.
This decision they make, leaves God NO choice!
They'll receive utter sorrow, never to rejoice!

God does NOT lie, a Promise He makes, He will keep,
And when He speaks, we can be certain, we'll reap.
Salvation is something, He'll NOT take away!
Once saved, always saved, we'll see Heaven some day!

God guides with His counsel, while in this life,
And then takes us to Glory, away from this strife.
What more could any of us, ever desire?
WHY don't people leave, the darkness and mire?

Lord Jesus, my prayer, is "Open their eyes,"
Let them SEE the TRUTH, and stop their denies!
God promises life, thru' His precious Son,
When we believe this, eternal life has begun!
