Our Amazing God
He knew one of the twelve, would betray,
And He also knew, the exact way.
As He sat at the Passover meal,
Judas’ betrayal, He did reveal.
He knew Simon Peter would deny,
Though Peter’s words were: “Lord, never I.”
Three times from Christ, Peter turned away,
‘Fore the cock crow’d, at the break of day.
He knew that His own, would forsake Him,
“Release Barabbas,” their shouts were grim,
He knew He’d hear them scream: “Crucify,”
As He started to the cross, to die.
He knew they’d mock Him, with a crown of thorns,
He knew a scarlet robe, He’d adorn.
He knew they’d spit on Him, and smite His Head,
Not one to comfort Him, His great dread.
He knew the Cyrene, His cross would bear,
As the crowd around, did gloat and stare.
He knew with Him, two thieves would die,
On Calvr’y’s hill; they’d be crucified.
He knew one of the thieves, would repent,
Christ’s words of comfort, made the thief content.
He knew all things, that would happ’n that day,
Yet e’er so willingly, He did stay.
He died on that cross, to set us free,
Giving to us, life eternally.
He gives us vic’try, when we go His way.
A loving Saviour, He did portray.

God stretch’d out the north, o’er the empty place,
He hung the Earth on nothing, in space.
The glory of God, do the heavens declare,
The skies show His handiwork, with great flare.
Let us remember, His great works He has made,
From the highest mountain, to the marshy glade.
The sea is His work, and the dry land too,
He laid the Earth’s foundation, with wisdom true.
Springs run from the hills, to valleys below,
Giving drink to all the beasts, as fountains flow.
He waters the hills, from His chambers above,
The Earth is grateful, for His gracious love.
Our Creator God, ne’er grows weary,
Not like mere humans, like you and me.
His mighty hand, laid the foundation of Earth,
He lets us rule His Creation, of such great worth.
His many works, He made in wisdom and pow’r,
His enemies one day, shall shudder and cow’r.
He has made two places for souls to abide,
Heav’n or Hell; our choice, where we shall reside.

Discouragement comes after fruitless tries,
God knows your problem, and He hears your cries.
Into His bottle, He puts your many tears,
God knows your troubles, your worries and fears.
When you feel as if, life has passed you by,
God knows and cares, on Him you can rely.
No matter what you think, life is ne’er on hold,
God is in control, His answers will unfold.
When you do something, that you shouldn’t do,
God knows, for He is always watching you.
Cast out hatred, gossip, lies and blasphemy,
And disobedience and idolatry.
All evil must be far from you and me,
We must overcome, to have victory.
God knows when you’re tempted, He’ll see you thru,’
He’ll speed strength and wisdom, quickly to you.
God knows His children, sees deep in their heart,
Tho’ you may backslide, He’ll never depart.
With His true children, He will reside always,
Thru’ this life, and all eternity’s days.
If your name is written in the Book of Life,
Heav’n shall be yours, as the Lamb’s perfect wife.
God knows and loves you, and to His Home you’ll go,
And a “mansion” up there, He shall bestow!

Where were we, when God created the world?
Where were we, when the Earth was unfurled?
Of its measurements, which of us know?
Or how deep is its foundation, below?
Where were we, when He made the stars above?
Where were we, when the angels sang out in love?
Where were we, when He shut the doors of the sea?
Where were we, when He made its boundaries?
Can we command, the morning to arrive?
Will our wisdom or power, help us survive?
Can we enter into, the ocean’s springs?
Or walk its depth, to know where it begins?
Have the gates of death, been open’d to you?
Does the shadow of death, give you a clue?
Can you perceive the Earth, O so v’ry wide?
Ev’n tho’ on its surface, you do reside.
Just where does the light dwell, or the darkness?
Where is the place, can you dare confess?
Have you enter’d into the snow’s treasure?
Or the hail, that He sends at His pleasure?
Just how does God part the dark and the light?
Why does He send the wind, in day or night?
How does He decide the route of thunder?
Is it His wisdom? or is it blunder?
Does rain have a father? who begets the dew?
What about the ice? and the hoary frost too?
Where were we, when the laws of heaven were set?
With God in charge of all, we need never fret.

Scripture: Job 38
God reserves storehouses of the snow and hail for times of trouble. God used hail to help Joshua and the Israelites win a battle (Joshua 10:11). Just as armies keep weapons in the armory, God has all the forces of nature in his control. Sometimes He uses them to confound those opposed to Him or His people. Job, nor we could even begin to know all of God’s resources.
God has all the forces of nature at His command and that He can unleash or restrain them at will. No one completely rain or snow, and no one can command them. Only God who created them has that power. God’s point is, that if Job or we can not explain such common events in nature, how could h/we possibly explain or question God? And since nature is beyond our comprehension, God’s moral purposes may not be what we imagine either.
The Lord questions Job and us, to convince him/us of his/our ignorance, and shame him for his folly in directing God. If we thus try ourselves, we shall soon be brought to own that what we know is nothing in comparison with what we know not. By the tender mercy of our God, the Day-spring from on high has visited us, to give light to those that sit in darkness, whose hearts are turned to it as clay to the seal, 2 Corinthians 4:6. God’s way in the government of the world is said to be in the sea; this means, that it is hid from us. Let us make sure that the gates of heaven shall be opened to us on the other side of death, and then we need not fear the opening of the gates of death. It is presumptuous for us, who perceive not the breadth of the earth, to dive into the depth of God’s counsels. We should neither in the brightest noon count upon perpetual day, nor in the darkest midnight despair of the return of the morning; and this applies to our inward as well as to our outward condition. What folly it is to strive against God! How much is it our interest to seek peace with him, and to keep in his love!
GOD’S WONDROUS CREATION
As the geese fly in their ‘V’ formation,
I think: “How wondrous is God’s Creation.”
God seems to give them a ‘built-in’ clock,
When the time is right; off flies the flock.
The bears seem to know when to hibernate,
They spend cold winters in a sleeping state.
God’s Creation truly is awesome indeed,
All His wild animals, to Him pay heed.
All vegetation knows when spring is nigh,
Trees bud; daffodils reach for the sky.
Tender green grass bursts from its dormant state,
Mankind these things, could never duplicate.
God grants us each day, the sun as a light,
And the moon, the lesser one, glows at night.
And a wonder too, this God of Creation,
Gave us a Way, for eternal salvation!

I Can’t Comprehend
Our finite minds cannot comprehend,
How You have no beginning, or no end.
You are the Triune God of eternity,
We cannot understand, this mystery.
I can’t comprehend, how all things You know,
You watch the world, Your eyes go to and fro.
Before a thing begins, You know the end,
Yet on Your awesomeness, we can depend.
I can’t comprehend, Your Almighty pow’r,
‘Tis abundantly with You ev’ry hour.
Nothing is impossible for You,
Yet Your love stays, ever firm and true.
I can’t comprehend, Your wisdom so great,
That most in the world, underestimate.
Far beyond us, is finding out Your ways,
Yet You stoop to assist us, ev’ry day.
Your majestic Presence, I can’t comprehend,
And the fact that You call, true Christians “Friend.”
A mystery, that in me God abides,
And that “forever” there He’ll reside.
That this awesome God, e’vn considers me,
Is truly to me, a great mystery.
Our God’s character, I can’t comprehend,
But I’m eternally grateful, I’m His friend.

Calling You Father
Calling You Father, is a privilege indeed,
‘Tis amazing, that my prayers You heed.
I can’t comprehend Your infinite love,
That You bestow on me daily from above.
Calling You Father, makes me feel worthwhile,
For I belong to You, I am Your child.
I believe in Christ and His work on the cross,
With Him as my Saviour, I’ll ne’er be at loss.
I love You Father, from deep down inside,
I thank You for Your Spirit, who does abide.
With You as my Father, great blessings flow,
Father grant me each day, Your will to know.
Calling You Father, brings comfort to my soul,
For I trust You always, and give You control.
O heavenly Father, I know You are there,
You show great mercy and love, I know You care.
Most gracious Father, I feel Your Presence near,
Your Spirit assures me, I need never fear.
Calling You Father gives me great peace of mind,
You prove to me each day, You’re loving and kind.
When I call You Father, let me praise Your Name,
Let me ne’er bring to You displeasure or shame.
Let me always obey, and always love You,
Let me walk close to You and always be true.

God’s grace is more than I can comprehend,
This awesome Being, who calls me His friend.
‘Tis undeserved favor, sent from above,
‘Tis kindness and mercy and abundant love.
This amazing grace, to His children does flow,
‘Tis a great privilege the Lord God to know.
Because of our faith, He does justify,
On His amazing grace, we can rely.
God declares us righteous, when we believe,
And everlasting life, we do receive.
A home in Heaven, with our Lord awaits,
Our prepared mansion, is just thru’ the gates.
This wondrous grace, we don’t work for or deserve,
Comes from our Lord’s never ending reserve.
Not one person, is worthy of His grace,
But faith in Christ assures, we’ll see His Face.
Our Lord is merciful, loving and kind,
And those who believe, won’t be left behind.
To His amazing grace, all can access,
Just believe by faith, and our Lord will bless.

He knows when we are weary, after a hectic day,
He sees our fruitless efforts, all along our way.
He knows we get discouraged, and has seen us cry,
He has seen our anguish, and seen how hard we try.
‘Tis difficult, to lead a life for the Lord,
For most of the world, refuse to believe His Word.
As God’s children, we must be His servants too,
So we must serve Him, in love and faith so true.
He knows our hearts, and if we are sincere,
So let us serve Him, with reverence and fear.
If we be wise, we will turn many to the Lord,
For we will trust His guidance, His Holy Word.
If we follow Him, we will be fishers of men,
Serving Him faithfully, o’er and o’er again.
Tho’ Christ has set us free, and gave us victory,
We must obey Him, to have life eternally.
He that serves the Master, honor shall receive,
Let us look to His Hand, and trust and believe.
Let us serve the Lord, and be faithful and wise,
Our loyal faithfulness, He will not despise.
He knows when we’re weary, after a hectic day,
Ev’n tho’ our efforts are fruitless, along the way.
Let us not be discouraged, but to Him cry out,
Tho’ our efforts seem to fail, let us never doubt.
On our own pow’r we cannot save, ev’n one soul,
Saving is not our job; bringing the Word is our goal.
How shall they believe, if they do not hear?
He knows when we reach out, in Godly fear!

HE REACHED DOWN
He reached down in love, and lifted me,
Into a life of true victory.
Out of a life in the heathen world,
Gave eternal life as my reward.
He reached down, as at His cross I knelt,
Such awesome peace, is what I felt.
I could feel Him, come into my heart,
As He promis’d me, He would not depart!
He reached down to one, as sinful as me,
And life became one of serenity.
All the sins I had done, now were gone,
Forgiv’n, for now ‘twas a brand new dawn.
When He reached down, my whole life changed,
My attitudes and actions, He rearranged.
It seemed as though love, flooded my soul,
When I gave Him control, He gave me new goals.
I’m so glad that He, reached down in love,
For He made me a child, of God above.
He died for me, the supreme price He paid,
On that horrid cross, His own life He laid.
Today He is reaching down to you,
Will you accept His loyal love so true?
He wants you to live with Him one day,
In glorious Heaven, far away!

His Guiding Light
He’s always there, when you ask for aid,
In pain and sorrow, and when you’re afraid.
He can help make your dark days seem bright,
My friend, just walk in His Guiding Light.
His Guiding Light can shine on your darkest day,
As He lovingly shows you, the right way.
As a Shepherd, keeping watch on His sheep,
In His loving Arms, He will tenderly keep.
From high above, He watches His own,
With Him as your Friend, you’re never alone.
Our Lord is only a short prayer away,
And His Guiding Light, He’ll gladly display.
His Guiding Light, can vast comfort bring,
His peace, power and joy, are great blessings.
With His awesome Presence, ever so near,
There isn’t anything we should fear.
Pitfalls and traps, can’t be seen at night,
But all is so clear, in His Guiding Light.
But should you stumble, or even fall,
He’ll reach out His Hand to you, when you call.

I Can’t Understand
Lord, there are times I can’t understand,
The grace that comes from Your loving Hand.
When I think of what a sinner am I,
It seems that my pleas You should deny.
Lord, when I think of my wicked heart,
I can’t understand why You don’t depart.
When I think of all the sins I’ve done,
I realize I’ve sinn’d, ‘gainst God’s own Son.
Lord Jesus, I’m not worthy of Your love,
That You shed on me daily, from above.
And You are always there, You never leave,
Ev’n tho’ my wicked ways, Your Heart does grieve.
Precious Lord, why do You put up with me?
For I am so fill’d, with iniquity.
It seems that You should turn, and run away,
Far away from my hateful, wicked ways.
At times Lord, I can’t understand at all,
Why You pick me up, each time that I fall.
I want to please You, I want to do good,
But it seems I never, do as I should.
I’m truly grateful for Your wondrous love,
And I thank You always for my home above.
I do not deserve You, not ev’n a bit,
But You prove o’er and o’er, Your love won’t quit.
I thank You for all, that You’ve done for me,
I thank You for Your grace, that is so free.
I thank You for forgiveness ev’ry day,
Ev’n when my actions are a bad display.

It Matters Not
As I walk with my Lord, Hand in hand,
I’ll follow Him and obey His command.
It matters not, just where He shall lead,
I’ll walk in faith, to Him I’ll heed.
Life’s narrow road, does get rough and steep,
If we walk in His Light, He will keep.
It matters not, the road blocks ahead,
As I walk in His Light, I’ll have no dread.
As I walk with my Lord, each new day,
I’ll walk in His footsteps, all the way.
It matters not to me, where we go,
My faith will lead me, as I follow.
At times I feel that I can’t go on,
But surging strength comes from God’s own Son.
It matters not, that I’m worn and weary,
Faith in Jesus, gives me victory.
As I walk with my Lord, I’m ne’er sad,
Great joy is within, that makes me glad.
It matters not, what others might say,
I’ll continue in faith, on Heav’n’s way.

JESUS IS MY . . .
As I live my life, Jesus is my Way,
I trust Him to guide me, each single day.
Jesus is my Guide, never leads me wrong,
Deep down I feel His advice, e’er so strong.
Jesus is my Truth, He won’t stand for lies,
We must resist, Satan’s temptation tries,
Jesus is my Wisdom, as I search His Word,
Such great peace and comfort, from my Lord.
Jesus is my Water, to my parch’d soul,
Spiritual thirst is gone, Christ is in control.
Jesus is my Bread, my soul He does feed,
He’s all the nourishment, my hungry soul needs.
Jesus is my Peace, deep down in my heart,
The contentment that He gives, won’t depart.
Jesus is my Gift, from the Father above,
Sent down from Heav’n, with amazing love.
Jesus is my Vine, to Him I’ll cling,
And to Him, all my praises I’ll sing.
Jesus is my Shepherd, Him I will follow,
Trusting Him always, in pain or sorrow,
Jesus is my Master, Him I will serve,
His fervent loyalty, I don’t deserve,
Jesus is my Lord, majestic and great,
For ever with Him, I’ll co-operate.
Jesus is my Redeemer, saves me from Hell,
Promises Heav’n, where for e’er I’ll dwell.
Jesus is my Saviour, for me He died,
Paid for my sins, when He was crucified.
Wonder of wonders, Christ Jesus is mine,
The Light of His glory, truly does shine.
I’m so grateful, my sins He does forgive,
And in Heav’n eternally, I will live!

Those who use His Name MUST depart from evil. 2 Tim. 2:19
My Fortress And my Shield
Our God is a Fortress, so mighty,
Always near by, to deliver me.
He is my strength, in whom I shall trust,
His guiding me, is truly a must.
Thou Lord, art my Fortress and my Rock,
I feel Your Presence, as Satan stalks.
You are my Refuge, with Arms open wide,
You deliver me, when I abide.
You are my Fortress, Goodness and Shield,
To Your wisdom and pow’r, I gladly yield.
In my affliction, You are my Fortress,
Just knowing You’re near, You do bless.
Thou, O Lord God, art for me a Shield,
Protecting me from fiery darts, Satan wields.
Such great comfort, deep within I feel,
Peace, joy and contentment, You reveal.
You give me the Shield of Thy salvation,
You remov’d from me, my degradation.
Should I slip, Your right hand catches me,
Therefore my glad heart rejoices, greatly.
You are my Shield and help, my soul shall wait,
And one day You shall open, Heav’n’s gate.
O God, my Shield, one day I’ll see Your Face,
And thank You again, for Your awesome grace.
My Shield and Hiding Place, I hope in Thy Word,
You are to me, as a great protective bird.
You are so good, to deliver me,
My Fortress and Shield, for eternity.

Precious Lord Jesus, You bring me no shame,
It gives me great honor, to praise Your Name.
No shame do I feel, but instead great pride,
That Your Holy Spirit, within me resides.
Lord, You keep my soul, and deliver me,
I’m not ashamed to put my trust in Thee.
Uphold me, according to thy Word,
I’m not ashamed of my hope, precious Lord.
When we look to You, there’s no shame on our face,
My heart is sound, and there is no disgrace.
If we believe on You, we’ll not be asham’d,
For in Your Book of Life, You write our name.
I live in earnest hope and expectation,
For You promis’d eternal salvation.
I know You are able to keep my soul,
I trust You Lord Jesus, God gave You control.
If we are to suffer, let us not have shame,
But let us glorify God, in Your Name.
Let us not be asham’d when You appear,
If we trust and obey, we need not fear.
Of our blessed hope, we should have no shame,
Eternal life waits, when we trust Your Name.
The love of God is shed abroad in our heart,
You will not disappoint us, nor depart.
We must not be asham’d of Christ and His Words,
This is clearly taught, by our precious Lord.
If we’re asham’d of Christ, He’ll reject us one day,
And we’ll never see Heav’n’s glorious array.

O Lord, have mercy upon me,
Wash me from my sins and iniquities.
Blot out all my transgressions this day,
As Your lovingkindness, You display.
I acknowledge all my terrible sin,
With unconfessed sin, I cannot win.
I have sinned against Thee, Thee alone,
My transgression, You will not condone.
All my sins are evil, in Thy sight,
My iniquities are dark as night.
From all my wickedness, hide Thy Face,
And all my sinfulness, please erase.
O Lord, create a new heart within me,
Renew my spirit, from sin, set me free.
From Thy Presence, cast me not away,
The joy of salvation, restore today.
O Lord, let me always show my praise,
As gratitude to You, I humbly raise.
A broken spirit and a contrite heart,
From these things, You will never depart.

There is one thing that I truly desire,
When from this life, that I do retire.
That I may in the house of the Lord be,
And see His beauty, for eternity.
There is one thing, that happens to all,
Be it man or beast, death shall befall.
As we live on Earth, we must look ahead,
We face Heav’n’s bliss, or Hell’s awful dread.
Millions will lack one specific thing,
Failure to make Christ, Master and King!
Many will be grieved, as they go their way,
For they choose worldly riches, each day.
There is one thing that all people need,
To sit at Christ’s Feet, and His teachings heed.
We must not ever, too busy be,
To draw close to the King, of eternity.
One special thing, all believers know,
Christ Jesus is our Friend, not our foe.
Once we were so blind, but now we see,
Once Satan bound us, now we are free.
One certain thing, to which we must mind,
Forget all the sins, that are behind.
There is not one thing, that we can change,
Run the race before us, that God arranges.
There is one absolute fact, my friend,
God is in charge, from now to the end.
His time clock and ours, is not the same,
Just always be ready, and praise His Name.

Such great joy, from the way I feel,
This love in my heart, is so real.
Precious Lord, I do honor You,
For I know, You are always true.
Ne’er a falsehood, nor e’er a lie,

Leading and guiding, ev’ry day.
All of my needs, You do provide,
And Your Presence, always abides.
Precious Redeemer, saved my soul,
Of my life, I give You control.
Such great compassion and mercy,
You forgive sins and iniquities.
Precious Friend, You are always there,
In my troubles, You show You care.
You bestow, blessings from above,
All because of Your awesome love.

To give me life, eternally.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
The Lord is my Shepherd, I’m one of His sheep,
He watches ov’r me, and does tenderly keep.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He supplies my needs,
To green pastures and still waters, He leads.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He sees something in me,
That all those around me, just fail to see.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He leads on right paths,
Restoring my soul, keeping me from God’s wrath.
The Lord is my Shepherd, no evil shall I fear,
Thru’ the shadow of death, He is always near.
The Lord is my Shepherd, great comfort He brings,
My enemies can’t comprehend, His blessings.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He’ll always be there,
Lovingkindness He reveals, because He cares.
The Lord is my Shepherd, I do not have dread,
Because of the Words, my Shepherd has said.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He truly loves me,
What follows me, is goodness and mercy.
The Lord is my Shepherd, in His House I shall dwell,
And for eternity, my fears He shall quell.

This Amazing God
What can you expect Christ to do for thee?
This amazing God of eternity.
If you’re God’s child, He’ll come thru’ for you,
With so many blessings, each day anew.
Every need you have, He will supply,
And your ardent pray’rs, won’t be denied.
Christ gave us access, to God’s Throne of Grace,
That we have help in life, as we run our race.
He will give you His Spirit, to abide,
Great contentment you will feel, deep inside.
A peace like none other, you’ve ever known,
Is placed in your soul, as His love is shown.
A storehouse of love, He will give to you,
When you become, one of the faithful few.
This deep well of love, will never run dry,
The more you give away, the more He’ll supply.
Wondrous joy is felt, no matter your strife,
For deep down you know, you have eternal life.
Too, deep down you know, He’ll not leave, not forsake,
You’ll feel His Presence, ev’n in your mistakes.
He’ll fully forgive you, when you repent,
To the bottom of the sea, your sins are sent.
This grand peace, not one other can supply,
On this amazing God, you can rely.
You can also expect, a mansion up there,
For our amazing God, truly does care.
But you must be God’s child, you must believe,
Or none of God’s blessings, will you receive.

Verses Only For Believers
Some verses belong, just to those who believe,
Like I will never forsake, nor ever leave.
He speaks these comforting words, just to His own,
Leading and guiding us, as right roads are shown.
All things work together for good, says His Word,
But you must read on: “To those who love the Lord.”
This great Promise to His children, God makes,
He’ll never abandon us, nor ever forsake.
Jesus tells us “I go to prepare a place,”
And one day true believers, will see His Face.
He’ll come and call us, to our “mansion” on high,
For all true believers, on Christ can rely.
“Come unto Me, and I will give you rest,”
For He gives all God’s children, only His best.
But unbelievers want no part of Him,
So their eternal future is very grim.
With God we have peace, we’re justified by faith,
We have serenity within, with ev’ry breath.
We are no longer our great God’s enemy,
We’re reconciled to Him for eternity.
We have a God of hope, who fills us with joy,
Hope that abounds, and will not be destroyed.
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven,
And love that abounds more and more, to us is giv’n.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you ,
Through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus too.
What love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
That He calls us His children, e’er so precious.

Vestments of Shame
Glorious, royal robes, did not one heart subdue,
It was vestments of shame, put on for me and you.
It wasn’t goats or bulls, on the altar bled,
It was Jesus’ Blood, on the cross that He shed.
It was our Lord’s meekness and humility,
That gained for us all, life eternally.
The life of a Servant, Christ took upon Him,
Allowing our hope, to never grow dim.
It wasn’t earthly riches, that paid the price,
Christ’s precious life’s Blood, was the supreme Sacrifice.
Christ’s holy righteousness, to us is applied,
When we trust and believe, we are justified.
Christ never on this Earth, did store up treasures,
In Christ’s mind instead, was our eternal pleasure.
Jesus owned not a place, to lay His dear Head,
But His being poor, never caused Him any dread.
His vestments of shame, and great humility,
Paid the price we couldn’t pay; life eternally.
Glorious regal robes, never paid the price,
‘Twas Christ’s death on the cross, His willing Sacrifice.

WHAT WE HAVE IN CHRIST
A love that no one can understand,
We hold close in our heart, soul and hand.
A life in which we can never die,
When on our Saviour we do rely.
A righteousness that can’t be unclear,
Coming from Christ, and won’t disappear.
A peace that will never go away,
Given to us freely ev’ry day.
A rest that can never be discontent,
Blessings from Christ are never deficient.
A joy that will never discontinue,
For Christ’s joy remains in me and you.
A hope that can never be displac’d,
As we look to the day we see His Face.
A light within that will never dim,
It shines brightly as it comes from Him.
A happiness that can never be sad,
Contentment just from Christ can be had.
A strength that can never be frail,
The pow’r of Jesus will never fail.
A purity that can ne’er be defil’d,
Because Christ made us the Father’s child.
A wisdom that no one can confuse,
That thru’ this life on Earth, we can use.
We’re headed for Heav’n, where life ne’er ends,
We’ll live with our Saviour, Lord and Friend.
He will take care of us for e’er more,
For Christ has open’d for us Heav’n’s door.

Who, But You Lord?
To our precious Lord, belongs our shield,.
All we need do, is trust and yield.
Let us sing of His mercies, always,
For His mercy is built up, all our days.
Your wonders Lord, the heavens praise,
Let us to You, our thankfulness raise.
Your faithfulness is what we can count on,
‘Tis shown so wondrously, thru’ Your Son.
Who can ever be compared to You?
No one has the majesty to construe.
You alone Lord, we must greatly fear,
Let us humbly bow, as your Throne we near.
Who, O Lord, has Your tremendous might?
Faithfulness surrounds You, day and night.
You rule the violent, raging sea,
Or calm it and still it completely.
Your mighty Arm is strong indeed,
All Creation is yours, and to You heed.
Justice and Truth are before Your Face,
Blest are all those who walk in Your grace.
God’s Hand is set o’er rivers and sea,
He alone can save, both you and me.
But is you do not trust and obey,
He must punish sin, there’s no other way.
His seed and Throne shall for e’er endure,
Just as the sun, moon and stars are sure.
You must be His friend, don’t cast Him away,
Or the bliss of Heaven won’t come your way.

Only because of Your Son, do I dare,
With boldness come, to Your Throne with pray’r.
By my faith and Your grace, I was justified,
When the precious Blood of Your Son, was applied.
Heav’nly Father, indescribable are You,
Always pure and righteous, in all that You do.
Your wisdom knows the end, ‘fore it begins,
You know our thoughts, be they good or sin.
Your wondrous love, we can’t comprehend,
You are to us, an amazing Friend.
Father, Your Son is righteous and true,
And everything He does, pleases You.
I’m so grateful, for Your loving Son,
With Him, salvation is as good as done!
Only Christ Jesus, can justify,
And only on Him, can we rely.
If you want to access, God’s holy Throne,
The precious Blood of Christ, must atone.
We must humbly kneel, at Jesus’ cross,
And consider all worldly treasure, as loss.
Thru’ the dark valley, Your Son shall lead,
If on the Bread of Life, we will feed.
Angels shall carry us, to Heav’n above,
Where for e’er we’ll live, in His sweet love.
Your Son, what a grand Gift You’ve giv’n,
And only He, has the one key to Heav’n.
Just He gives access, to our mansion above,
Reserv’d in Heav’n, with abundant love.

Such Tremendous Promises
Such tremendous Promises, God does make,
Great Promises, we can reach out and take.
Like dead corpses, these Promises lay,
Grab them my friend, bring them to life today!
I will ne’er leave, I will ne’er forsake thee,
What great comfort, this Promise brings to me.
I have been thru’, so much trouble and pain,
But knowing Jesus is there, is great gain!
God will ne’er give us, more than we can bear,
A way of escape He leaves, ‘cause He cares,
Such great Promises, He gives you and me,
His love is there for us, eternally!
His grace is sufficient for me, always,
Christ Jesus is my Strength, each single day.
When I am weak, that is when I am strong,
The pow’r of Jesus, keeps me from all wrong.
With Thy e’er wise counsel, Thou shalt guide,
Right roads and right decisions, You provide.
And afterward, You’ll receive me to glory,
I love to hear, this wonderful story!
Christ gives Light, to them that sit in darkness,
And just He, to Heav’n, can give you access.
He guides our feet, into the way of peace,
And from stress and worry, He gives release!
Nothing can separate us, from God’s love,
And one day we’ll live with Him, high above.
A mansion in Heav’n, that won’t fade away,
Reserved for us, and there we’ll live one day.
A pure golden street, is where we shall walk,
And with our precious Saviour, we shall talk.
In this City of pure gold, we shall reside,
If in this life we trust, and in Christ abide.
