Our Journey in This Life
All Too Often
Wisdom in decisions, is what I ask,
For oft I encounter, difficult tasks,
All too often, I will choose the wrong paths,
Bringing down upon me, your righteous wrath.
Love in my heart, when I face enemies,
For I must consider, eternity.
All too often, when I am hurt, I hate,
This my Lord Jesus, does not appreciate.
Patience in my life, sometimes I do lack,
I ask Lord, that I stay on the right track.
Quick temper, not thinking before I speak,
Let me be like Jesus, patient and meek.
All too often I think and do wrong things,
Leading me away from the Lord’s blessings.
The devil steps in, and tempts me to stray,
Oh! Lord, please keep me on that narrow way.
Oft I consider, pleasures of the world,
As Satan tempts me, with riches unfurl’d.
I clearly do need You Lord, by my side,
If I in Heaven, e’er want to reside.
I claim Your Promise, that You won’t forsake,
For when You are near, less errors I make.
Give me wisdom Lord, to walk in Your Light,
For the devil can’t stand, Your path so bright.

AS I JOURNEY
As I journey, thru’ this world of sin,
Jesus gives me vict’ry, I know I’ll win.
He paid the price, He redeemed my soul,
But of my life, I must give Him control.
As I journey, I see such wickedness,
There’s so much evil, and so much stress.
Ev’n those who say “Christ is my Lord,”
Turn day by day, farther from His Word.
As I journey, I see apostasy
As we speed onward, to eternity.
They rebel against God, they transgress,
Then from God, they expect blessedness.
As I journey onward, day by day,
I get closer, to my Home far away.
I feel in my heart, sadness so great,
For O so many, the Lord Jesus do hate.
As I journey, I know Earth’s not my home,
I know one day, I’ll no longer roam.
I’m headed for that City so high,
And then for e’er, my Lord I’ll glorify.
As I journey, close to Christ I walk,
And I have peace, when He and I talk.
He’s guiding me, to my mansion above,
Where for e’er I’ll know, His amazing love.

AS YOU SURVEY YOUR LIFE
As you survey your life, what do you see?
Is it constant stress, or serenity?
Consider, does worry always plague you?
Think . . . are your dishonest, or are you true?
Do you gossip and backbite, or say good things?
To others, are you a curse, or blessing?
Does love in your heart, to others o’er flow?
Do those around you, the true you know?
Do you cheat others, with thoughts just of greed?
And feelings of others, you never do heed.
Coveting, will bring God’s wrath down on you,
Love of money is simply the wrong view.
Do you deceive others with trickery?
Do monstrous lies, flow from your lips so free?
The deep hurt you inflict, could last for years,
Causing your victim stress, to the point of tears.
As you survey your life, what do you see?
Are you on your way to life eternally?
Are you walking on the Lord’s path of light?
Are you living, what God considers right?
If we want God’s heav’nly Home, as our own,
Love to God, and our neighbors, must be shown.
We must have faith, we must trust and obey,
We would surely be wise, to live God’s way!

Blind and Deaf Sinners
Adultery is a sin, you must beware,
Friend, it’s wrong, to think it’s just an affair.
God sees the lust in your eyes and your heart,
Immorality is sin, you must depart.
Murder is sin; “But I’ve killed no one” you say,
But God looks at things, a whole diff’rent way.
If you hate your brother, Heav’n you’ll not see,
Far, far from you, is life eternally.
God’s Word clearly tells us, we must not lie,
Or in Hell, we’ll eternally die.
When we tell ‘white lies’, it is strictly wrong,
We must not go along, with Satan’s throng.
Thou shalt not steal, God so clearly tells,
Robbery is a sin, that leads to Hell.
Men start work late, quit early ev’ry day,
And steal from their boss, in so many ways.
Coveting, what to another belongs,
Is for all God’s children, dreadfully wrong.
God’s Word absolutely, forbids man’s greed,
If we are wise, to our Master we’ll heed.
When we disobey, we sin against God,
It’s a path of rebellion, that we trod.
There’s not any other, to whom you can turn,
When you anger the Lord, make His wroth burn.
O’ blind and deaf sinner, you must awake,
Or you will wind up, in Hell’s fiery lake.
Commit your life, to Christ Jesus today,
For you can’t reach Heav’n’s gate, no other way!

Bumps, Bruises, Blessings
Do life’s bumps and bruises, plague you each day?
Do trials and temptations, come your way?
Does the devil and his tactics, deceive?
Do you shut your mind, to what you could receive?
Life’s bumps and bruises, are a certainty,
But our Lord has blessings, for you and me.
Do you from Christ, foolishly turn away?
When He could help you, in so many ways.
Life’s bumps and bruises, can make you afraid,
But, if you are wise, you’ll run to Christ for aid.
Christ offers abundant blessings, indeed,
If you will just admit, His help you need.
Thru’ bumps and bruises, Christ will not forsake,
If we walk with Him, blessings we’ll partake.
He doesn’t promise, to make troubles flee,
He does promise His Spirit, eternally.
His blessings, make bumps and bruises look small,
He will always lift us up, when we fall.
His amazing grace, is what we should seek,
Great blessings will be poured out, on the meek.

Driving Him Away
You may without knowing, drive Jesus away,
And when you do, you’ll have a troubled day.
When you drive Him away, you’ll lose His grace,
You will not feel that love, from His glorious Face.
If you drive Him away, your Friend will be sad,
You must know by now, a better Friend can’t be had.
Trials and troubles, now alone you must bear,
For you drove away, the Lord Jesus who cares.
If thru’ carelessness, you happen to lose Him,
Great will be your sorrow, your joy will be dim.
Greater love hath no man, than our precious Lord,
Driving Him away friend, you can’t afford.
Just how can you possibly, drive Christ away?
My friend, it is a sinful life you display.
God is so pure, and always righteous and just,
Repenting and confessing your sin is a must.
If we confess our sins, He will forgive us,
He’s faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Your unconfessed sins is what drives Christ away,
It’s best to have Him, on your side all the way.
Please consider your thoughts, and actions too,
You do not want to drive Christ, away from you.
To drive Him away, would be a big mistake,
Keep Him close, honor Him, a wise choice to make.

Enemies of God
To the cross of Christ, many are enemies,
As they speed head-first into eternity.
“I’m a Christian” many of them profess,
But in their heart, Christ they do not possess.
For His enemies, God shall reserve His wrath,
Ev’ry one of those, on that big, broad path,
To be a “Christian,” you must trust and obey,
You must turn from your sin, and go the right way.
The Lord’s enemies, take His Name in vain,
With vile blasphemy, ever so profane.
They talk His talk, but refuse to walk His walk,
They give in to temptation, as Satan stalks.
From the cross of Christ, many turn away,
Apostasy is rampant, this very day.
Pretending to be Christ’s, is hypocrisy,
Judgment shall be yours, like the Pharisees.
Do you say with your mouth: “Christ belongs to me,”
Are you at all concerned, ‘bout eternity?
When you talk the talk, you must walk on His path,
Or on Judgment Day, you shall feel God’s wrath.
You must repent of your sin, and it forsake,
Or the gates of Heaven, you’ll never make.
To continue in your sin, you shall see Hell,
And there for eternity, you will dwell.

From the Pit to the Palace
Joseph’s brothers looked on him with hate,
They would be his destiny to fate.
His many colored coat, from far away,
They saw coming closer, that v’ry day.
Joseph’s brothers dreamed up evil things,
Far from their wicked hearts, were blessings.
Into a deep pit, him they did throw,
Joseph looked up with tears, from below.
Slave traders came thru’ and bought the boy,
Sold him into Potiphar’s employ.
Joseph was good and honest and pure,
Serving willingly, he did endure.
It was soon, great temptation set in,
Potiphar’s wife, wanted him to sin.
When he refused, revenge she did seek,
Imprisoned, this godly man, so meek.
Dreams of the butler and the baker,
Interpreted thru’ Joseph, by His Maker.
Then the great Pharaoh had a dream too,
Joseph was called, interpreted it true.
Seven years of plenty, seven years of need,
Joseph’s wisdom, many people would feed.
Storing grain in the plentiful years,
In the famine, it would ward off fears.
From Pharaoh’s palace, Joseph did rule,
Second in command, nobody’s fool.
From the pit, into which Joseph was cast,
To a huge palace, with pow’r so vast.

He’s Always There For You
Have you reached out your hand to Him for aid?
Have you turned to Him, when you were afraid?
Have you, your worries, taken to Him?
Have you trusted Him, in shadows dim?
In your confusion, did you ask Him to guide?
Did you ask that your daily needs, He provide?
Did you ask that your doubts He remove?
Did you ask that you live a life, that He approves?
Have you thanked Him for removing your fear?
Have you thanked Him for His Presence, near?
Have you thanked Him for His guiding light?
Have you thanked Him for making darkness bright?
Have you thanked Him for taking pain away?
Have you thanked Him for every new day?
Have you thanked Him for your mansion above?
And have you thanked Him for His awesome love?

This earthly life will always be bright,
When our hearts, by Jesus, are made right.
If we walk where He guides us, each day,
Burdens will be lifted, along the way.
If we were to walk, on a city street,
That’s O so busy, with so many feet,
He’s there, no matter how huge the crowd,
And His Voice is soft, tho’ theirs is loud.
If you walk on a lone mountain path,
Out away from man’s, unholy wrath.
All you hear is a bird’s cheery song,
His Presence is there, as you stroll along.
No matter where you go, or what you do,
His Presence will always be with you.
An awesome feeling, to know He’s there,
His amazing grace, shows He does care.
His Presence, so much peace provides,
For we know He’ll always lead and guide.
His Presence, is from God, a blessing true,
A great privilege we have, me and you.
If you don’t know Jesus, you miss so much,
You’ll never know His love, or tender touch.
The bliss of Heaven, you will never see,
For Christ Jesus, holds Heaven’s only key.
Do you want His Presence, e’er so near?
Do you want Him, to comfort and cheer?
Open the door, to your heart today,
And Jesus will help you with each new day.

Many more years, or an hour more,
None of us know what God holds in store.
All of us have an alloted time,
I do not know, when death will be mine.
We all dream dreams that never come true,
They just vanish, with the morning dew.
Instead we should think of eternity,
Because our time to go, is a mystery.
Some friends’ trust o’er the years, I could not reap,
Left alone in sorrow, I did weep.
But there is a true Friend, who does care,
In all pain and sorrow, He’s always there.
Tomorrow for you, may ne’er arrive,
Today may be your last day alive.
Dear Lord, teach us to number our days,
Life is so short, guide me in all right ways.
Our days are like a shadow that declines,
Life on Earth tomorrow, may not be mine.
Like cut grass, we all will wither and die,
We know not the day, we cannot deny.
Let’s apply our hearts to wisdom each day,
Let’s spend our time wisely in all our ways.
Many more years, or just an hour more,
Not one of us know what God has in store.

Ps.37:2; Ps.9:4; Ps.102:11; Ps.103:14,16; Eccles. 6:12; 1 Peter 1:17; James 4:14;
Let us realize how brief life is, let us use the little time we have more wisely and for eternal good. We never know from one day to the next what may happen. Take time to number your days. Ask yourself: “Is there something specific I should do before I die? What can I do to make this a reality? Am I right with God?”
I Could Run
I could run, but I can ne’er hide from You,
You see where I am, and know what I do.
You know the thoughts of my mind, ev’ry one,
You know the end of things, ‘fore they’ve begun.
How could I hide anything from Thy sight?
With You the darkest night, is brilliant light.
When I try to hide, myself I deceive,
Your stern correction, is what I’ll receive.
Running from You O Lord, is foolishness,
When this fool runs from You, You will not bless.
What makes me think that I can outsmart You?
My actions are ne’er, hidden from Your view.
Why can’t I learn that I can’t run and hide?
But instead let You always, be my Guide.
Life wouldn’t be as hard, if I’d obey,
Change me from a fool to a wise man this day.
Continued wrong decisions, and wrong roads,
Will ne’er lead me to Heav’n’s blissful abode.
‘Twill simply bring down, God’s vengeful wrath,
As I try to hide, on that big, broad path.
Running from God, is of no use at all,
In the end, we’ll all hear, His judgment call.
God is so good, WHY do we run away?
When all He wants is to bless us each day.

On the strait and narrow path, I must stay,
And my precious Lord, I must obey.
I must have close fellowship with Him,
Or my chance of Heav’n, is very dim.
I must consider, how others feel,
I must serve Jesus, with love and zeal.
Faith in my Saviour, must persevere,
If I am to feel, His Presence near.
I’ll stray from the narrow path, I know,
But with wisdom from Christ, back I’ll go!
Satan will tempt me, day after day,
I must trust Christ Jesus, all the way.
I must stay on that strait, narrow path,
If I am to avoid, the Father’s wrath.
I must stay away, from the broad road,
That leads to Satan’s fiery abode.
Most of the world, to the broad road flock,
But to them, the gates of Heav’n are lock’d.
The lone gate of Hell, will let them in,
For the God of wrath, condemns their sin.
Unbelief is a terrible thing,
Satan blinds the eyes, to God’s blessings.
Making folks think, the broad road is right,
Blindness keeps them off, the path of light.
Help me Lord, to stay on the narrow road,
That leads me to my eternal Home.
I must stay close to You, I must obey
I know dear Jesus, there’s no other way.

JOURNEY TO ETERNITY
You’re on a journey, to eternity,
Just what will your destination be?
Only two roads from which you can choose,
The narrow road you win, the wide one, you lose!
As on your journey, you speed,
Be careful, that warning signs you heed.
Two diff’rent guides, will attempt to lead you,
One a deceiver, the other One true!
On to eternity, as you journey,
Your destination, you choose freely.
Many will be, on that road so wide,
But only a “few” with Christ will abide!
Most important, is this journey you take,
Critical, is the decision you make.
In Heaven, you can live joyously,
Hell will bring only agony!
As you journey, to eternity,
Ponder, what will your destination be?
Jesus can give you Heaven’s grand key,
Satan can give only agony!
Which precise road are you on today?
Only Jesus can show the right way!
Just He can lead you to Heav’n above,
Trust Him to guide you in perfect love.

Lessons From Life
What have I learned, in my life on Earth?
My wisdom and strength, are of no worth.
I must be humble, I must be meek,
If the Lord’s guidance, I truly seek.
I must ne’er think, “I’ll do it on my own,”
If I e’er want, God’s will to be shown.
I must have faith, and trust Him each day,
And I must love Him, and Him obey.
The Lord many troubles, will permit,
But He’ll always help, by His Spirit.
His Promise “I will not leave or forsake,”
But a commitment to Him, first we must make.
Tho’ temptation and trials, oft are great,
Vast comfort from Him, won’t e’er be late.
His loving Presence, is e’er so near,
We must have faith, not worry or fear.
At times His will, we can’t comprehend,
But if we love and obey, He’s our Friend.
Lessons from life can sometimes be hard,
But from His Throne of grace, we’re ne’er barr’d.
If we are God’s child, and love Him true,
He will always be there, for me and you.
We must be humble, we must be meek,
If the Lord’s guidance, we truly seek.
Such a great comfort, to know He’s there,
So encouraging, to Know He cares.
No matter our trouble, no matter our pain,
Christ’s love, strength, wisdom and help, we can gain.

MY LAST JOURNEY
One day my angels will carry me,
On my last, but my greatest, journey.
The moment I die, my soul they’ll bear,
Into the presence of my God who cares.
On this wondrous journey through the air,
The soul of His servant, they will bear.
My angels will carry, safe and sure,
And from Satan’s grasp, I’ll be secure!
My angels will carry me away,
To be with my Jesus, e’er alway.
I’ll be in His Light for ever more,
Where I’ll love and praise and always adore.
Into the vast expanse of God’s Home,
Into the presence of His great Throne.
On my last, but my greatest journey,
To Heaven, my angels will carry me.

ONLY TWO ROADS
Many are the roads in the world today,
They lead to many places; in all ways.
Many destinations; our choice to make,
We will arrive, if the right road we take.
Eternity has just two special roads,
One narrow and strait; the other, so broad.
Just two destinations to eternity,
Heav’n and Hell; which will be your destiny?
The choice is yours, only you can decide,
Heaven or Hell; just where will you abide?
Your soul is eternal; it lives alway,
Which of these two roads are you on today?
God is so patient; He does love you so,
He does not want any, to Hell to go.
He is so righteous, so just and so true,
You must BELIEVE Him, or He won’t rescue.
Christ says: “Enter ye in at the strait gate,”
Stay on that narrow road, to Heav’n so great.
If you do choose that road, so smooth and broad,
You’ll end up in Hell, and never see God.
Salvation is easy, God made it so,
BELIEVE Him in faith, and to Heav’n you’ll go!
But, if you reject His Plan, His own Son,
You’re already condemned; Hell you’ve won.

Our journey advances, day by day,
Each one, a diff’rent attitude displays.
Retreat is something, we cannot do,
We just keep plodding on, me and you.
To be young again, is wished by most,
They don’t want to leave, these earthly coasts.
But this Earth is not, our perm’nant home,
Just for a time, this world we’ll roam.
What lies ahead, as you journey on?
Will you be in the Arms, of God’s own Son?
Are you trav’ling that strait, narrow road?
The one that leads to Heaven’s abode?
As your journey advances, what’s ahead?
Sheer bliss of Heaven? or eternal dread?
Are you trav’ling, on that road so wide?
That leads to Hell, where you will abide?
You can’t go back, but you can change your path,
That small road leads, away from God’s wrath.
Your journey’s end can be, Heaven above,
And you’ll live in a mansion, made by love.

There is a journey, we all must take,
And many decisions, we must make.
God gives us this time on Earth, to decide,
Where in eternity, we’ll reside.
There are only two, specific roads,
As we consider, our final abode.
A broad road to Hell, a small one to Heav’n,
We have a choice, God graciously has giv’n.
We can travel, that broad road to Hell,
Where Satan and his angels, shall dwell.
We’re Satan’s children, if him we follow,
But if we do, we’ll have much sorrow,
But we can walk, that small road to Heav’n,
If we have half, the sense we were giv’n.
Why would we choose, e’er lasting agony?
When we could have life, eternally?
Utter fools, or wise . . . which shall it be?
As we journey on, to eternity.
Ne’er ending agony, eternal bliss?
My friend, we all must think of this!
Life is a gift, God gives me and you,
To make a decision, what will you do?
Which road will you walk, as you go your way?
Please make the right decision, this day!

OUR SOJOURN HERE
While we sojourn on Earth, as God’s child,
We must do as Christ, walk meek and mild.
Can you do as Christ, and imitate Him?
This we should do, but I fall short, and sin!
I fall short each day, in the life I live,
Those around me, wrongs I do, they seive.
Seldom do they mention the good I do,
But the slightest slip, and they misconstrue.
If you confess Christ, the world will watch you,
The closer you walk, more judging they’ll do!
Sadness comes when the persecute and revile,
I’m glad I’m just here, for a little while.
Ev’n those you love, may cut you to the bone,
We’re set apart, and at times I feel so alone!
Without His help, I could not take it,
But He’s by my side, and I will not quit!
These times I feel, down as I can be,
Am I feeling sorry, for the likes of me?
At times life is hard, we can’t go alone,
But with His strength, we’re not on our own.
Don’t ever doubt Him, have faith He’s there,
He’ll not leave nor forsake, for He does care!
When those all around, so disappoint you,
Remember our Saviour, He’s always true!

Our Soul Is The Ship
Our soul is the ship, as in life we sail,
On its own power, ‘tis of no avail.
The far distant coast line, we will ne’er see,
Christ must assist, for Heaven’s destiny.
For heavenly bliss, beyond this world of sin,
Faith in the Saviour, is how we shall win.
Our ship encounters many storms in life,
For Satan causes much sorrow and strife.
To reach that far coast, on faith we must rest,
Hope in that faith, will always be a test.
Tho’ huge roaring waves, seem to engulf you,
Trust the power of Jesus, to see you thru.
This world is where we sail, it is our sea,
As our fragile ship sails, to its destiny.
To take you off course, the devil will try,
He truly wants you, Jesus to deny.
Entering the glory of Heaven above,
Is based on our faith, in the Saviour’s love.
Your ship will submerge, to the depths of Hell,
Without Christ, there forever, you shall dwell.
Is your ship controlled by Jesus today?
Do you trust the Lord, to show the right way?
Captain of your fragile ship, He must be,
Or Heaven will never be your destiny.

Path of Light, The
On the path of light, with You I’ll walk,
So You can assist, when Satan stalks.
I’ve not a chance, against Satan’s darts,
If You and I Lord, are far apart.
On the path of light, with You I’ll stay,
For I need Your Presence, ev’ry day.
Without You Lord, I would surely fall,
But with You Lord, I can do it all.
I’ll stay with You, on that lighted path,
‘Tis how I avoid, the Father’s wrath.
Darkness and evil, from me will flee,
For You dear Jesus, take care of me.
Staying with You, on the path of light,
Removes my worries, doubts and my fright.
Such a comfort, to have You so near,
Your perfect love, casts out all my fear.
On the path with You, lighted so well,
Eliminates all terror of Hell.
I will with Your help, on that path walk,
And fellowship with You, as we talk.
Keep me please, Lord, on that narrow path,
For I want none of, the Father’s wrath.
In Heaven with You, I want to dwell,
And just You Lord, the Father’s wrath can quell.

Roads To Heaven
On the brink of disaster, this world stands,
This whole Universe, is in the Lord’s Hands.
Immorality, and such wickedness,
The Almighty Creator, will not bless.
As each of us walk, in the world today,
Oh! So many are trav’ling, the broad way,
They follow their master, who leads to Hell,
And there for eternity, they shall dwell.
Great, lofty mountains, and canyons so wide,
Will cross our path, as in this life we stride.
Those who are wise, will walk the narrow path,
In the light of Christ, which keeps us from God’s wrath.
We may come to a huge canyon, so deep,
Along the edge, we must cautiously creep.
We must obey the Spirit, as He guides,
Always correct directions, He’ll provides.
A wild raging river, comes into view,
How will we cross over? What shall we do?
Many are the obstacles, on our road,
As we keep on, to our heavn’ly abode.
Are you standing, at a junction this day?
Don’t let the old devil, your mind to sway.
If you’re on the broad road, get off right now,
Let the Holy Ghost, with wisdom endow.
Trials and tribulations, each day arrive,
The Spirit of Christ, your strength can revive.
From all temptations, you can walk away,
You can do all things, through Christ every day.
Many obstacles could come, across our road,
But the light of Christ, on us is bestowed.
Privileg’d we are, with Jesus on our side,
We must keep our faith, and in Him abide.

THE ROAD TO HELL
Traveling is easy on the road to Hell,
Satan surely sees to that, wants you there to dwell.
There are many good intentions, seen too late,
That cannot keep you from Hell’s awful gate.
Hell does not scare men away from their sin,
But ev’n knowing this, we must try, souls to win!
‘Tis a dreadful place; chains, darkness, fire, pain,
With no escape; no light, ever again!
Wide is the gate, broad is the way to Hell,
We must try to warn folk, and of Christ, tell!
We must teach ‘bout Hell, with tears in our eyes,
Tell of our Saviour, and Heav’n in the skies.

The Way to Heaven
The way to Heaven is narrow, and so strait,
But it leads to eternal life, thru’ Heav’n’s gate.
‘Twill be joy forever, when our task is done,
When we pass thru’ the gate, and Heaven is won.
In Heaven, we’ll be in the Presence of God,
Such a beautiful place, and so very broad.
To be even the least, will be a great thing,
For all will be great, and to God we will sing.
To get to Heav’n, turn right ans keep going straight,
Try your very best, Jesus to imitate.
Only Christ gives the passport, to Heaven’s land,
Just trust and accept Him, take Him by the Hand.

The Vast Realm of Eternity
Consider the life that is to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Do you think, of what the future holds?
Will you e’er walk, on that street of gold?
The river - - - clear and pure, did you know?
The water of life, from God’s Throne flows.
In the midst of the street, on each side,
Is the tree of life, that God provides.
No more curse, shall e’er again be found,
Just blessings from the Lord, will abound.
We shall at last see, His precious Face,
And first hand feel, His amazing grace.
There shall never be, any more night,
Just the brilliance, of our Saviour’s Light.
No sun or moon, will this City need,
Glory from God and the Lamb, shall proceed.
No more death, sorrow, crying or pain,
From all these things, we shall abstain.
Nothing that defiles, shall enter in,
Gone will be wickedness and sin.
Consider now, the other life to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Most will go in, thru’ Hell’s one lone gate,
The Lake of Fire, is the sinner’s fate.
No exit doors, just smoke and darkness,
Here, God’s Glory is gone; He won’t bless.
God’s wondrous Presence, you won’t e’er see,
You’ll be bann’d for e’er, from His mercy.
Agonizing screams, will never cease,
Christ is not there, so you’ll have no peace.
All the wonder of Heav’n, you’ll never see,
Just non-stop suff’ring, eternally.
Only two roads, to eternity,
One leads to bliss, the other - - - agony.
Your future in your own hands, you hold,
Eternal suff’ring - - - or the street of gold.

THERE ARE TWO ROADS
There are two roads, which one will you take?
It’s a decision, ev’ry one must make.
The choice, is completely up to you,
But the Lord really does care, what you do.
There are two roads, one narrow, one wide,
Which one will you take, as thru’ life you stride?
The narrow one, is harder to stay on,
The wide one leads you away, from God’s Son.
The strait, narrow road, to Heaven will lead,
As with Christ you walk, and to Him you heed.
That big, broad road is easier, ‘tis true,
But on that road, Satan will walk with you.
Which road will you take? there are only two,
Look carefully, from eternity’s view.
The small road takes you, where the Lord resides,
The broad road goes, to where Satan will abide.
Consider carefully, the choice you make,
It’s either Heaven, or the Fiery Lake.
Heaven will be total comfort and peace,
Hell will be agony, with no release.

ONE DAY SOON
One day soon, our Lord, in the clouds will come,
To take all born again, believers home.
Those “dead in Christ”, shall be the first to rise,
We must be ready, so it’s no surprise.
The Lord Himself, from Heaven shall descend,
Believers here, shall to the clouds ascend.
We shall meet our dear Lord, high in the air,
Never again, will we e’ev have despair.
Jesus says, there are many mansions in Heav’n,
And one to each of God’s children, is giv’n.
Reserved in Heav’n, an inheritance true,
Undefiled and won’t fade away, for you.
Are you living, as our dear Lord requires?
Are you watching, as Christ Jesus desires?
Jesus shall come, in the blink of an eye,
Upon God’s Holy Word, you must rely.
Incorruptible bodies, we will receive,
The old devil, no longer shall deceive.
Thank You dear Jesus, for the victory,
Thank You, thank You, for life eternally!

One Day Soon
One day soon, I will have no more pain,
As I consider, eternal gain.
Your grace has been sufficient, each day,
As I claim this Promise, as I pray.
One day soon, no sorrow will there be,
No more sorrow, in eternity!
At times on Earth, we’ll have great sadness,
But in Heav’n, the Lord will always bless.
One day soon, all temptation will cease,
For in Heav’n, there shall be only peace!
For now, to escape, God makes a way,
Submit to God, Satan will run away.
One day soon, I’ll not sin any more,
For I’ll be with Jesus, on Heav’n’s shore!
A new sinless body, like my Lord,
Is what is clearly taught, in God’s Word.
One day soon, I will have perfect rest,
In Heav’n, I will be, eternally blessed!
While on Earth, God will take care of me,
And afterward, receive me to glory!
One day soon, I will walk that street of gold,
As the beauty of Heav’n, I behold!
What a wonderful day, that shall be,
That first full day, of eternity!

So many consider this Earth, as home,
As wildly and recklessly, they do roam.
They ne’er think, they’ll live eternally,
So they just continue on, sinfully.
So many, not once, consider our Lord,
They don’t believe the Bible, is God’s Word.
Selfish they are, “What can I do for me?”
Greedily they lust, for pleasure and money.
So many think, they will avoid God’s wrath,
As they continue, on that big, broad path.
They ne’er think, that God will cast them to Hell,
So many think, that all in Heav’n will dwell.
So many false doctrines, are taught today,
Wolves in sheep’s clothing, stalking for new prey.
People reject, and against God rebel,
They refuse to believe, He will cast them to Hell.
God cannot lie, but so many won’t believe,
Most will do nothing, His grace to receive.
Believe on Christ, eternal life you gain,
Reject Christ, you shall experience Hell’s pain.
So many reject Jesus, are you one?
Heav’n can be achieved, ONLY by God’s Son!
Jesus is the Way, He holds Heav’n’s ONE key,
Belief in Him gives life, eternally.

Sometimes troubles come from all directions,
That’s when we should recall, God’s perfection!
He’ll never give us more that we can bear,
He’ll bless with comfort, because He cares.
We all will have troubles, that come our way,
But to His children, great love God displays.
Sufficient grace He gives, abundantly,
With Christ on our side, we’ll have victory.
Tho’ the Lord our troubles, won’t take away,
He will walk with us thru’ them, all the way.
He will encourage us, if we walk with Him,
Things will look brighter, as troubles grow dim.
Did you e’er think, Christ may be testing you?
Run from Him? or to Him? what will you do?
Satan will all your weaknesses explore,
Don’t let the devil get his foot in the door.
No matter what happens, Christ will be there,
He truly does love us, truly does care.
His awesome Presence, is always so near,
He’ll not leave or forsake us, have no fear.
Did you thank Him today, for standing by you?
Do you appreciate His love so true?
What does He mean to you? tell Him this day,
Thank Him for all blessings He brings your way.

TROUBLES AND TRIALS
Over and over, troubles arise,
The secret to this, is look to the skies.
Our help cometh each time from the Lord,
There is great comfort, from His Holy Word.
Satan is all smiles, when you worry,
Submit to God, and the devil will flee.
Temptations come, the Lord does permit,
But strength to endure, comes from His Spirit.
As an angel of light, Satan appears,
But the Holy Spirit is always near.
Over and over, He comes to our aid,
His Presence abides, so don’t be afraid.
Much greater is He who is in you,
Than the world’s devil, so untrue.
When we trust the Spirit, and don’t quench His pow’r,
He’ll help in a heart-beat, at any hour.
With each temptation, trouble and woe,
Great comfort and strength, o’er comes our sorrow.
Fellowship with Christ must be secure,
If troubles in life, we are to endure.
When into your life, doubt starts to creep,
Be sure that Jesus, will safely keep.
Doubt will always eat your faith away,
Don’t give in to Satan, on any day.
Between you and Christ, Satan tries to step in,
Gently he will urge you, into sin.
Take hold of His Hand, as Christ you follow,
He truly will help you, in your sorrow.

TWO ROADS TO ETERNITY
There are two roads to eternity,
We are free to choose --- both you and me!
We’re giv’n this time in life to decide,
Just where in eternity, we’ll abide!
Wide is the gate, and broad is the way,
Trav’ling is easy, both night and day!
This road to Hell is smooth and carefree,
But, it leads to eternal agony!
All who reject Christ travel this path,
Their willful unbelief, kindles God’s wrath.
To the Lake of Fire, all these shall go,
For that broad road leads to Hell below!
There is another road we can choose,
With this decision, we cannot lose!
Strait is this gate, and narrow this way,
And this road leads to Heavn’s array!
This narrow road at times gets rough and steep,
But everlasting arms will hold and keep!
His amazing love will always guide,
Soothing our trials as onward we stride!
As we on this narrow road do stay,
Things seem to go better ev’ry day!
He’ll ne’er give us more than we can bear,
And in troubling times, He’s always there!
The broad OR narrow road; God lets you choose,
The narrow road, you win; the broad, you lose!
You’re at the junction, you must decide,
Where in eternity you will abide!
