A Whisper in the Wind
A whisper in the wind, is Your Voice to me,
As You kindly guide me, to eternity.
Will I listen, to Your ever so soft words?
Or will I not heed, Your guidance, dear Lord?
A whisper in the wind, guides me to right paths,
Also leading me, away from Your wrath.
Softly and lovingly, You speak to me,
Out of the wind, blowing ever so free.
Your Voice in the calm wind, ever so soft talks,
Gently encouraging, the right way to walk.
Telling me to walk, with the Lord in His light,
Telling me to stay clear, of those of the night.
Whispering such gentle words, I need to hear,
Telling me of Your love, and that I need not fear.
Such wondrous love, I simply can’t comprehend,
It’s simply amazing, that You call me “friend.”
A whisper in the wind, is Your Voice to me,
As You guide me here, then receive me to glory.
I am so grateful, and will thank You always,
I’ll praise You now and forever, all my days.
No need for an earthquake, a whisper will do,
As the wind whooshes by, I’ll listen to You.
I want to be, who You want me to be,
Help me as I walk, to eternity.

Before Jesus, After Jesus
I claim Jesus’ righteousness, as mine,
So that thru’ me, His great Light can shine.
With His power, He made me God’s child,
From now to for e’er, from Hell I’m exiled.
Before Jesus, I was deep in sin,
Sin is how, ev’ry day I’d begin.
Like filthy rags, was my righteousness,
‘Twas no way, that the Father would bless.
Before Jesus, just self was on my mind,
No love for others, I was not kind.
All I could think of, was me, me, me,
And I ne’er thought, of eternity.
But Jesus, my heart and life did change,
Spirit and soul, He did re-arrange.
Of me, I no longer think any more,
Now I want others, to reach Heav’n’s shore.
Jesus righteousness, for me I claim,
And salvation, in His Holy Name.
No longer will it be, me, me, me,
I’m on my way, to life eternally.
Lord Jesus, thru me, let Your Light shine,
Concern for other’s souls, should be mine.
Lord let me please You, and do Your will,
And Lord, with Your love, my being fill.

When I read Billy Sunday's Sermon: "Wonderful", his words touched my heart. He put the cookies on the lower shelf.
On the bottom shelf, is where the cookies are,
Not out of your reach, and not so very far.
Just like salvation can be, for everyone,
All who trust and believe, in Christ, God's own Son.
In the cookie jar, on the pantry shelf,
You can reach in, grab a cookie for yourself.
And for all who are wise, eternal life awaits,
Just trust Jesus, He can open Heaven's gate.
God did not make salvation, a mystery,
He wants all to receive, life eternally.
He sent His one and only, Begotten Son,
And to all who believe, He gives salvation.
You can reach in the jar, and grab a cookie,
It's on the bottom shelf, just in the pantry.
God makes eternal life, just as easy too,
It's not out of reach, just waiting for you.
Eternal salvation, is like a cookie,
On the bottom shelf, waiting for you and me.
Such wondrous blessings await, blessings galore,
When we reach the beauty, of Heaven's shore.

Salvation is a GIFT, free and clear! Eph.2:8-9; Rom.5:15-18; 6:23
Salvation may come quietly, but we must NOT remain silent about it.
The start of eternal life, is common faith,
We must believe this, with our every breath.
Grace, mercy and peace, comes thru’ our dear Lord,
All clearly revealed, in His Holy Word.
Eternal life has just One, Fountainhead,
‘Tho’ false doctrines by many cults, are spread.
Just Jesus is the Truth, Life and only Way,
That will ever get you, to Heaven one day.
Eternal life is a Gift, ever so free,
A Promise to “whosoever” . . . you and me!
To get into Heaven, it’s our faith, God’s grace,
It’s there in His Home, we’ll see His wondrous Face.
Eternal Life means, in Christ we are hid,
Believing and trusting, is what God does bid.
Eternal life is surely, security,
Given by our gracious God, ever so free.
Eternal life is a hope, ever so grand,
God promised a mansion, in Heaven Land.
A wonderful mansion, reserved for me,
In the Promised Land, of eternity.
Eternal life means, we must walk in the light,
Following Christ, not letting Him out of sight.
Trusting Him always, let Him lead, let Him guide,
For just Jesus, eternal live can provide!

Everyone needs, someone to love,
In this fast paced world, of push and shove.
We can ne’er give, all our love away,
God replaces it, day after day.
Every one of us, needs mercy,
Because not one of us, is sin free.
God’s compassion, is wondrous indeed,
All He asks of us, His will to heed.
Every one of us, needs forgiveness,
When God forgives, He truly does bless.
We too, need to forgive one another,
God demands, we forgive our brother.
Everyone, every where, needs God’s grace.
As we each run, our Christian race.
His amazing grace, will see us thru’,
When things get rough, for me and you.
Everyone needs, faith in the Lord,
Heav’n’s pathway is clear, in God’s Word!
Christ Jesus, has Heav’n’s only key,
Just faith in Christ, gives life eternally.

From a Nobody to a Somebody
I was a nobody, until I believed,
By the grace of God, Christ Jesus I received.
Now I’m a somebody, head’d for Heav’n’s shore,
I’m a child of the King, who could ask for more?
Moses was a nobody, till he met the Lord,
Then he was a somebody, obeying God’s Word.
Tho’ he was not perfect, God prepar’d a way,
Moses led God’s people, each and ev’ry day.
Elijah was a nobody, without God’s pow’r,
But he was a somebody, in that great hour.
In a short pray’r, he called down fire from God on High,
Consum’d the sacrifice, and licked the water dry.
David was a nobody, a young shepherd lad,
Till he came up against Goliath, big and bad.
David became somebody, with faith so strong,
All somebodies, to God’s family belong.
I’m glad I’m a somebody, serving my Lord,
He chose me, equipp’d me, with His Spirit and Word.
From a nothing nobody, to belove’d child,
From God’s Home on High, I’ll ne’er be exiled.
Thank You Lord Jesus, my life’s greatest Treasure,
You give this somebody, such amazing pleasure.
You made this once nobody, into somebody,
Who shall with You in Heav’n, spend eternity.

Few And Far Between
The few and far between . . . are you one?
Do you believe, in God's only Son?
Only Jesus, can make you God's child,
Without Him, you are unclean and defiled.
Do you qualify, as one of the few?
Has the Holy Ghost, made you anew?
Belief in Christ, is the only way,
To get a pass, into Heav'n one day!
One of the few, do you stand firm and bold?
Are you one of the sheep, in His fold?
When the Great Shepherd speaks, do you hear?
Are you far away, or are you near?
Far between, are the children of God,
Most refuse, that narrow road to trod.
Children of God, great blessings receive,
But they must start, God's Word to believe.
Jesus is, the One and Only Way,
To get you to, your mansion one day.
At the Rapture, will He call your name?
The few that He calls, shall have no shame.
The few and far between , are you one?
Have you believed God, and trusted His Son?
Jesus can save you, from fiery Hell,
And grant Heav'n instead, where you shall dwell.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
God loves so much, He sent His Son,
To pay the price, for sins we had done.
He died on that cross for us, that day,
The Father said, ‘twas no other way.
God is a God, of so much mercy,
He forgives us, making us guilt free.
Into the deep sea, our sin He casts,
Allowing us to forget, our past.
God is a God, of much compassion,
When we accept Jesus, His own Son.
Rejecting Jesus, brings on God’s wrath,
Keeping you firmly, on Hell’s broad path.
On God’s love, we should ne’er turn away,
‘Twould be foolish, on any giv’n day!
Rather, in wisdom, this we should do,
Reach out, hold love firmly, me and you.
Only a fool, would God’s love reject,
On our lives, it can have a strong effect.
Accepting God’s love, is wise indeed,
For God and His love, shall rightly lead.
God’s desire is that no one go to Hell,
Instead He wants all, in Heav’n to dwell.
God’s love, is what we all should desire,
For no one would want, the Lake of Fire.

Do you live by the rules, in His Book?
Or have you ne’er, taken time to look?
His Book always leads, in the right way,
But we must be wise, and read each day!
Many troubles come, from Satan’s hand,
As we live our life, in this great land.
Wisdom will make us, open His Book,
Good answers are inside, if we look!
Stress and worry, seem to come to all,
His Book clearly states, on Him to call.
Indescribable peace, can come to you,
But you must rely, on His Book so true!
Pain and sorrow, can come to your heart,
‘Tis now we must not, from His Book depart.
Such great comfort, can come from within,
Wisdom should tell us, it’s there to begin!
Pride is a no-no, we must be meek,
To imitate Jesus, we must seek.
His Book can keep us, on the right path,
And teach us how, to avoid God’s wrath!
His Book will never, lead you astray,
It tells how to get, to Heav’n one day.
It also tells us, how to avoid Hell,
For certain no one, wants there to dwell!
If you’re not familiar, with His Book,
May I please suggest, that you take a look.
The Lord loves you, and won’t lead you wrong,
His Book leads you right, and makes you strong!

I’d rather serve my Master, and be at His Feet,
Than be a rich man, being served dainties so sweet.
We all have decisions, in this life to decide,
Will we serve the Lord in Heaven? . . . or in Hell reside?
I’d rather be a poor man, and the Lord believe,
Than be a rich man, and the devil’s lies receive.
Many choices stand before us, as this life we live,
It depends what we choose, on what place the Lord gives.
I’d rather follow Jesus, on the path of light,
Than traipse after Satan, on broad roads black as night.
The Lord will guide us, on those narrow roads so strait,
To keep following Satan, you decide your own fate.
I’d rather love the Lord, and be the Father’s child,
Than to listen to Satan, and from Heaven be exiled.
When you choose the devil, and all his wicked ways,
You’ll spend eternity in Hell, all of your days,
I’d rather obey God, and always do His will,
Than allow Satan, worldly desires to instill.
There are only two places, in eternity,
The Lake of Fire, OR Heaven’s amazing beauty.
I’d rather be a fool, in this world’s evil eyes,
Than be an unbeliever, who my God denies.
Choosing another god, is the wrong way to go,
It will lead just to Hell, and eternal sorrow.
I’d rather go to Heaven, and live with the Lord,
Spending ev’n one hour in Hell, I cannot afford.
Lord, help me always to choose, Your will and right paths,
For I ne’er want to face, the judgment of Your wrath.

JESUS IN YOUR HEART
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (KJV)
Your heart’s door has only one doorknob and it is on the inside! YOU must open your heart’s door or you leave Him out in the cold! He will NOT force Himself on you! OPEN the door my friend! Great and wonderful things will take place in your life.
When the goodness of Jesus, comes into your heart,
The bad and evil things, quickly start to depart!
Christ Jesus came in, when I opened my heart’s door,
He releases grand blessings, that He holds in store!
Awesome blessings come your way, when He resides,
Great Godly gifts are yours, when Jesus presides.
He will help you cast out, all immoral things,
For He gives vic’try, o’er all that Satan brings.
When you allow Christ Jesus, into your heart,
Backbiting, blasphemy, cursing, will depart!
Just kind, loving and tender words, you will speak,
And your attitude, will be humble and meek!
When Jesus comes into your heart, bad things flee,
Envy, greed, hatred, strife, will be far from thee!
Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, will take place,
For the Spirit of Christ, helps us run our race!
When the goodness of Jesus, comes into your heart,
He gives the newly made you, a brand new start!
The amazing peace and comfort, He gives you,
With each new wonderful day, will continue!
Christ Jesus cannot come, into your life and heart,
Open your heart’s door, that His blessings may start.
Exceptional good things, He brings continually,
And when we depart this Earth, life eternally!

And on you, He’ll abundantly pour!
His merciful love, is always there,
He’ll never leave you, for He does care!

When you are troubled, or are afraid!
When you are tempted, day after day,
The Spirit of Christ, will help you pray.

All those who do not, His Name deny!
Justified by faith, you will have peace,
And hope of eternal life, will increase!
Jesus is able, to make grace abound,
Nothing better on Earth, can be found!
You’ll have sufficiency, in all things,
In every good work, His grace will bring!
Jesus is able, temptation to bear,
If you will just go, to Him in prayer!
A way of escape, will come into view,
An exit He will make, just for you!
Jesus is able, to do all things,
Eternal life in Heav’n, He can bring!
He gives His Spirit, within to dwell,
And fear of death and Hell, He does quell!
Jesus is able, to safely keep,
And the riches of Heav’n, you shall reap!
You are an heir, to a mansion above,
Because of the Father’s gracious love!
Jesus is able, great hope to provide,
A home in Heav’n, where we shall reside!

We can trust Him, each and ev’ry day!

Love For The Lord
The love I have for the Lord, I must express,
A deep heart felt love, a love I must confess.
This fervent love for Him, grows stronger each day,
As I walk close to Him, in the narrow way.
I love Him more, than my father or mother,
For Christ Jesus is, my spiritual Brother.
Because I love Jesus, the Father loves me too,
With love that I simply cannot, misconstrue.
God’s grace is with me, for my love is sincere,
For I can always feel, His Presence so near.
I will stand firm and hold fast, in this great love,
And reject evils, in this world of push and shove.
He blesses me, when I endure temptation,
Promised a crown, along with salvation.
Master, I love Thee, with all my heart and soul,
And I have given to You, complete control.
I look to the day, when You shall appear,
‘Twill be a day of joy, there will be no fear.
Face to face precious Lord, You will I see,
And I will then spend with You, eternity.
Although I have not seen Him, I love Him so,
And know He will keep me, from fiery Hell below.
Instead I shall abide, on Heav’n’s blissful shore,
And there daily learn, to love Him, yet more.

Our Wonderful Promise Keeper
I feel His vast love, as I go thru’ the day,
The warmth of His Presence, is with me always.
His Word tells me, of the Promises He makes,
“I will never leave you, never forsake.”
His grace is indeed, an amazing thing,
There for me always, such a grand blessing.
His grace is what gave me, life eternally,
An awesome Gift, God promised to me.
I dearly love His pow’r, and authority,
For Christ made me a child, in God’s family.
He promis’d some day, a mansion on high,
Reserv’d for me, and on Him I can rely!
I count on His guidance, each and ev’ry day,
As He lovingly guides me, in the right way.
He guides me with His counsel, ‘tis no story,
And when I pass on, He’ll receive me to glory.
His faithfulness gives me hope, abundantly,
Giving me assurance, and security.
‘Tis such a comfort to know, He cannot lie,
And that on ALL of His Promises, I can rely!
Forgiveness of my sins, I can’t comprehend,
What an awesome God, that He calls me “friend.”
I praise Him for all, that He does for me,
I’ll thank Him now, and for eternity.

Heaven is a dream, that one day will come true,
But Lord, I must walk, that narrow road with You.
Precious Jesus, give me wisdom to do right,
And in my dark times, shed on me Your glorious Light!
Heaven is a hope, that I shall realize,
But Lord, I must trust and obey, to be wise.
Precious Jesus, help me to be, who I should be,
As I come closer, to life eternally!
Heaven is a far off vision, I shall see,
But Lord, I must not ever, be blind to Thee.
Precious Jesus, let my faith, not ever fail,
Let my heart-felt love and trust, always prevail.
Heaven today, is an image out in space,
But Lord, it shall be real, and I’ll see Your Face.
Precious Jesus, let me always persevere,
For my hope of Heaven, draws O’ so near.
Heaven right now, seems dim and so far away,
But Lord, I know, I’ll see Your Face, one sweet day.
Precious Jesus, help me to walk, close to You,
For I truly want, to see Heaven’s wondrous view!
Precious Jesus, keep me from the devil’s snares,
But Lord, when I stumble, show me how You care.
Precious Jesus, help me to walk, that small path,
That I may ne’er be condemned, by the Father’s wrath.

The Road To Heaven
On the brink of disaster, this world stands,
This whole Universe, is in the Lord’s Hands.
Immorality, and such wickedness,
The Almighty Creator, will not bless.
As each of us walk, in the world today,
Oh! So many are trav’ling, the broad way,
They follow their master, who leads to Hell,
And there for eternity, they shall dwell.
Great, lofty mountains, and canyons so wide,
Will cross our path, as in this life we stride.
Those who are wise, will walk the narrow path,
In the light of Christ, which keeps us from God’s wrath.
We may come to a huge canyon, so deep,
Along the edge, we must cautiously creep.
We must obey the Spirit, as He guides,
Always correct directions, He’ll provides.
A wild raging river, comes into view,
How will we cross over? What shall we do?
Many are the obstacles, on our road,
As we keep on, to our heavn’ly abode.
Are you standing, at a junction this day?
Don’t let the old devil, your mind to sway.
If you’re on the broad road, get off right now,
Let the Holy Ghost, with wisdom endow.
Trials and tribulations, each day arrive,
The Spirit of Christ, your strength can revive.
From all temptations, you can walk away,
You can do all things, through Christ every day.
Many obstacles could come, across our road,
But the light of Christ, on us is bestowed.
Privileg’d we are, with Jesus on our side,
We must keep our faith, and in Him abide.

Heavenly citizenship: (Mat.6:1,20; Lk.10:20; 22:30; Jn.14:2-3; Phil.3:20; 4:13; 1 Pet.1:3-4; Rev.21:27).
Hell: (Isa.5:14; 14:9; 30:33; Ps.49:14; Pro.27:20; Eze.32:18-30; Hab.2:5; Mat.7:13; Rev.20 13-15).
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
Salvation is taught, so very clear,
But we must listen, so we can hear.
God so loved the world, He sent His Son,
When we believe, eternal life’s begun.
God will not condemn, when we believe,
God’s amazing grace, we do receive.
Refusing to believe, brings God’s wrath,
But, most of the world, travel that path.
The Bible says, there is only one Way,
That we will e’er see, that glorious day.
Belief brings us, a mansion above,
And there to live for e’er, in God’s love.
To Heav’n’s gate, just Jesus has the key,
Just He can give, life eternally.
There is no other name, under Heav’n,
That salvation to us, will be giv’n.
Jesus is the Christ, when we believe,
Eternal salvation, we receive.
Unbelief will bring, the fires of Hell,
Where for e’er in agony, you will dwell.
We have life, when Christ is in our heart,
Our wicked, sinful ways, will depart.
Greater is God’s Spirit, who indwells,
Than old Satan, who will go to Hell.
Salvation is a Gift, but YOU decide,
Is the mansion in Heav’n, where you’ll reside?
If you refuse Christ, Hell is where you’ll go,
With the old devil, and great sorrow.

Steps in Salvation
The first step in salvation, is believe,
When the Gospel is heard, it you must receive.
The Lord Jesus, you must trust and accept,
For just He alone, from Hell can protect.
Faith in Jesus as Saviour, stops God’s wrath,
When we walk with the Lord, on the right path.
Justified by faith, means we’re not guilty,
Our sins are forgiven, and we are guilt free.
Sanctification, is what we next find,
Set apart for God, which eases our mind.
Baptism by the Spirit, does sanctify,
Means we’re God’s child, and us, He won’t deny.
Glorification, the last we come to,
God’s children will be glorified, me and you.
We’ll all be changed, to a sinless body,
This mortal must put on, immortality.
No sinner shall gain entrance, at Heav’n’s Gate,
Our bodies must be changed, to participate.
Christ shall change our vile body, He has pow’r,
Then we’ll join Him in Heav’n, for e’er, ev’ry hour!

Thank You For . . .
Thank You, for Your amazing grace,
I draw it near, as I run my race.
‘Tis a mixture, of compassion and love,
And merciful forgiveness, from above.
Thank You, for Your bountiful blessings,
Each one special, in the joy it brings.
Your Presence, is the most dear to me,
As I travel on, to eternity.
Thank You, for the times that You chastise,
For the sin, that I fail to recognize.
Your correction, I humbly accept,
For I know Your desire, is to protect.
Thank You, for faith that removes my doubt,
My worry is gone, I want to shout.
That faith gives to us, life eternally,
Not one cent is charged, it’s completely free.
Thank You! It’s a privilege to be Your child,

The Path of Light
Lord, let me always walk, the path of light,
As I run my race, in a world dark as night.
Help me stay on the path, and Your will do,
My heart’s desire, is to always please you.
To Your will Lord, I surrender my all,
Giving in to my will, I’ll always fall.
On Your path of light, is where I must walk,
For in darkness, is where Satan stalks.
Help me stay on the path of light, near You,
Lord, let me always, keep You in plain view.
I know I’ll fail You, as I’ve done before,
But You forgive, and I love You all the more.
I must stay e’er so close, as with You I go,
Obedience to You, avoids sorrow.
The love You have for Your people, is sure,
When we walk the path of light, we endure.
When I stumble, You reach out for my hand,
As I journey onward, to Glory Land.
What a wondrous Comfort, You are to me,
Giging me hope, of life eternally.
Thank You dear Lord, my Shepherd and my Guide,
I look to the day, when with You, I’ll reside.
Help me to stay on, that narrow path of light,
As I try by You, to always do right.

WHAT WE HAVE IN CHRIST
A love, we can never understand,
O' so awesome, and so very grand.
Life on Earth which on Him we can rely,
And one yet to come, where we'll never die.
Righteousness, that is never foggy,
Given to us by God, e'er so free.
Peace that continues, day after day,
Staying with us now, and always.
A rest so perfect, with no worry,
Just Jesus to this rest, has the key.
A wondrous joy, that will never cease,
Day after day, it shall just increase.
A hope, that no one can take away,
We know Heaven will be ours, one sweet day.
A future glory, that's always bright,
For knowing He'll always, be in sight.
A light that can never, e'er be dim,
For that Light, comes directly from Him.
A happiness, that shall continue on,
A blessing that comes, from God's own son.
A deep down strength, that is never frail,
With Christ on our side, we cannot fail.
A purity, that cannot be defiled,
A blessing because, we are God's child.
An unseen beauty, that is always there,
That which the devil, cannot impair.
A wisdom, that no one can confuse,
This wisdom, Christ's Spirit did infuse.
These blessings, will always abundant be,
Now and in Heaven, eternally.
Our Home in Heaven, shall never end,
Our Master, Saviour and greatest Friend.

Without Jesus, I was headed for Hell,
Wicked Satan, had me under his spell.
I had no concern for sin, no worry,
And I never thought of eternity.
Without Jesus, I would walk the broad road,
I'd have much help, as the devil would goad.
Old Satan wants to keep me, by his side,
He does not want me, with Christ to abide.
Without Jesus, my troubles would be worse,
Satan really tries, to keep me off course.
'Tis a comfort, that Christ's Presence won't leave,
A great blessing indeed, when e'er I grieve.
Without Jesus, many things could go wrong,
For Satan does not want us, to be strong.
I must abide in Christ, or I am weak,
Jesus' love, mercy and pow'r, I must seek.
Without Jesus, there is nothing I can do,
Useless are all efforts, as Heav'n I'd pursue.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life,
Without Christ, all I'd have is Hell and strife.
Without Jesus, no home in Heav'n would there be,
To my mansion above, just Christ has the key.
Jesus has gone, this mansion to prepare,
That where He is, I can also be there.
Without Jesus, I cannot be God's heir,
My inheritance in Heav'n, would not be there.
Just Jesus can give, life eternally,
Just Jesus, can keep me from hell's agony.

Thy Will Be Done
Thy will be done in my life, O Lord,
For none other, can my soul afford.
Let me learn Lord, Thy ways to adore,
As I seek to please You, more and more.
Every day that I live, let me seek,
To please You with deeds, and words I speak.
May Your righteous will, be on my heart,
And from worldliness, may I depart.
Let me think on, Jesus’ toil and tears,
Let Thy love for me, erase my fears.
Thy will be done, in each step I take,
Trusting You means making, less mistakes.
On this Earth did trod, Christ’s precious Feet,
Let us store these mem’ries, O so sweet.
Let us remember, hardships He met,
And let us ne’er forget, He paid our debt.
When trials come, to me and to you,
Remember, God’s will is right and true.
He always knows, what for us is best ,
Trusting Him always, gives us peace and rest.
Let’s not wander, from His blessed path,
For doing so, brings His Holy wrath.
Thy will be done O Lord, every day,
For You will always, have Your way!
To disobey You, is like prison walls,
Thy displeasure upon me, shall befall.
Thy will be done always, come what may.

Will your mansion in Heav’n, be bigger than mine?
Will it be furnish’d, with luxuries so fine?
Will it shine so bright, by the street of pure gold?
As the glory of Jesus, you behold?
If my dwelling place were small, I’d care not,
I’m so grateful for this place, Jesus has bought!
A tiny cottage, on a side street would be great,
For all Christ Jesus has done, I appreciate!
What an awesome Saviour we have, He paid our price,
Went to the cross for us, was our Sacrifice!
He redeemed us, with His wondrous, precious Blood,
Privileged we are, for that sacrificial Flood!
Don’t worry ‘bout how big, your mansion will be,
Christ will rightly provide, for you and for me!
On that old rugged cross, Jesus took our place,
So that one, sweet day, we’ll see, His Holy Face!
Our mansion in Heav’n, Jesus controls the size,
Who are we, that we should ever criticize!
A small cabin, in a place out of the way,
Would be all right with me, on that special day!
I’m not worthy, nor want, fancy luxuries,
I want just to serve Him, for eternity!
The dwelling place for me, that Christ shall provide,
I’ll gladly accept, and for e’er, there reside!
