When I awake at the break of day,
I pray for guidance to show the way.
I ask for God’s wisdom, to pilot me,
And for His mercy, to set me free.

Before I ever get out of bed,
I speak to the Lord, to clear my head.
I ask for light for my daily path,
For I truly want to avoid His wrath.

As on my bed, I peacefully lie,
I pray that Christ, I will never deny.
I thank Him for all He’s done for me,
I will be grateful, for eternity.

I praise Him for my “mansion” above,
Prepar’d for me with His selfless love.
For all He is and does, Him I praise,
All glory and honor to Him I raise.

I ask that He lead, guide and direct,
And from the evil one, to protect.
I humbly ask that He be my Shield,
And that to Him, I completely yield.

I’d not make it one day without Him,
For all would be bleak and bare and grim.
But ev’n when things go wrong, He is near,
As He walks with me, He casts out my fear.

I must take time to speak with my Lord,
Then all seems to go in soothing accord.
I must take time, my praises to sing,
And to His Promises faithfully cling.

When I Come To You!

When I come to You for daily needs,
My humble request You always heed!
You always answer and always bless,
You dear Lord, are true righteousness!

When I come to You as I do mourn,
My repentant heart, You will not scorn!
I realize that my sins do displease,
You dear Lord, can forgive and appease.

When I come to You in my distress,
My greatest burdens You do repress!
You console me so graciously,
Only You dear Lord, love abundantly!

When I come to You in dreadful pain,
Comfort and strength from You I obtain!
You never fail to hear my humble pray’r,
Only You dear lord, seem to truly care!

When I come to You with my mistakes,
Your awesome compassion never forsakes!
Amazing mercy, like a river flows,
Only You dear Lord, set my soul aglow!

When my friends abandon, I come to You,
I can trust that You are loyal and true!
You will always listen, always hear,
For You dear Lord, are constantly near!

When I come to You, be it day or night,
You are ever present, to hear my plight!
You encourage me, with lovingkindness,
For only You dear Lord, can truly bless!

WHEN I CONSIDER - - - February 2010 Message

When I consider, all the wrong I’ve done,
I’m in no way worthy, of God’s own Son.
Yet His amazing love is there for me,
Forgiving my sins, and setting me free.

The devil had me; I was tied and bound,
Because the love of Christ, I had not found.
I would hear Him knock, and turn a deaf ear,
“Live righteously,” I did not want to hear.

I was stone deaf, and completely blind,
Christ was the last One, I had on my mind.
With my immoral ways, I was at ease,
And with my wickedness, Satan, I did please.

I often think, of those days in the past,
When Christ, from me, I did utterly cast.
I’m in no way worthy, of God’s own Son,
When I consider, all the wrong I’ve done.

But, our Lord abounds in love and mercy,
And He ne’er gave up, on the likes of me.
My evil, sinful past, He did forgive,
Gave me His Spirit, within me to live.

My precious Lord, and His amazing grace,
Always there for me, as I run my race.
He picks me up, when I stumble and fall,
And always answers, when on Him I call.

Does all the wrong you’ve done, cause you shame?
Did you consider, calling on Christ’s Name?
If you believe in faith, He will set you free.
And you’ll live with Him in Heav’n, eternally!

When I Consider

When I consider, Christ has always been,
And His greatest desire, is souls to win.
Precious Jesus, You are God Almighty,
 Wanting all to have, life eternally!

When I think He left Heav’n, so willingly,
 Knowing what lay ahead, was agony.
He came, knowing He would suffer and die,
Yet the Father’s wish, He would not deny!

When I really think, of Gethsemane,
 And how He suffered, mental misery.
He knew that the cross, was the only way,
He had to be the Sacrifice, that day!

I think of the high priests, who condemned Him,
A horrible thing, to satisfy their whim.
Also false witnesses, stood up and lied,
Paving the way for Him, to be crucified!

I think of the crowd, that laughed Him to scorn,
They one day shall regret, that they were born.
Be not far from Me, for trouble is near,
There was none to help, in His time of fear!

His Hands and Feet, to the cross they did nail,
Their Messiah, these vile people, did fail.
They rejoiced, and mocked Him in glee,
Feeling no remorse, for His agony!

When I consider, what He did for me,
His Sacrifice brought, life eternally.
Faith in Your precious Blood, does justify,
All who accept You Jesus, and not deny!

#16. Christ’s was beaten so terribly that His bones were revealed. Ps.22:17; 102:5; Isa.52:14; Job 33:21-22. The Lord Jesus suffered dreadful humiliation and shocking blows. Does the precious Blood of Christ Jesus mean all this to you? Pouring out His Blood was pouring out His life so that all these things could be yours.  That was the joy set before Him.  THANK YOU JESUS!


When I go to Jesus, and humbly ask,
He will always help, in my greatest task.
He wants me to cast, all my pride away,
And be meek and lowly, like Him, each day.

When I go to Jesus, and wisdom request,
It is granted, and I am truly blest.
He wants me to open His Book each day,
Paying attention, to what it has to say.

I go to Jesus, when I’m down and blue,
He has never once failed, to see me thru’.
He leads me and guides me, in all right ways,
Never once will He e’er, lead me astray.

I go to Jesus, when my faith declines,
And when He increases it, it does shine.
My faith is the substance, of things hoped for,
Like the unseen things, on Heav’n’s glorious shore.

I go to Jesus, when I need pardon,
Forgiveness is mine, thru’ God’s only Son.
He cleanses me, from all unrighteousness,
One of the multiple ways, He does bless.

I go to Jesus, when I need directions,
As for incorrect roads, He chooses none.
He sees to it, that I walk the narrow path,
Keeping me away, from God’s holy wrath.

When I went to Jesus, many years ago,
He promised to save me, from Hell below.
Eternal life in Heav’n, is what He gave me,
A mansion in Heav’n’s, eternal beauty.

When I Leave You

When I leave this life, and to my other go,
Consider that I leave, all pain and sorrow.
All my many tears, will have come to an end,
For I’ll then be home, with my Saviour and Friend.

I loved you dearly, so you can only guess,
How much your returned love, gave me happiness.
God truly blessed me, with the love you’ve shown,
But now I must leave you, and go on alone.

My time on Earth has ended; please do not grieve,
My beloved Saviour, said it’s time to leave.
It’s only a short while, that we’ll be apart,
May you store good mem’ries of me, in your heart.

When you’re lonely, I won’t be far away,
I’m as close as your heart, each and ev’ry day.
Peace and comfort can come; I am near,
If you just listen to your heart, you will hear.

One day, my loved one, you must come this way too,
You will be amaz’d, at Heav’n’s beautiful view.
So much wonderful fellowship, in this place,
But, best of all, I see my Jesus, Face to face!

Some of the ‘things’ I did, and I said,
When I look back; they cause me great dread!
I can’t see, how God put up with me,
Yet He gave me life, eternally!

When I look back, at how I lived then,
Sinning; over and over again!
So willing and shameless, I had no fear,
Of the awesome God, who was so near!

I “practiced” sin and iniquity,
Not knowing ‘that’ made God my Enemy!
When I look back, I really didn’t care,
Yet my precious Lord, was always there!

Then one day I thought: “I could go to Hell,
And there in agony, I could dwell!”
I then answered the ‘knock’ at my heart’s door,
Jesus came in! with His love, and more!

What a wonderful day that was for me,
After all those years, that from Him I did flee!
He forgave ALL my sins of wickedness,
And ev’ry day since, my life He does bless!

I regret ev’ry one, of those wasted years,
When I look back, I shed many tears.
Don’t you make the same mistake, I pray!
Open the door, to Jesus today!

When I need Him most, He’s close by,
And He won’t ever, my call deny.
There’s not a reason to be afraid,
He’s there to grant me His divine aid.

When my trials are great, He is there,
I just need to go, to Him in prayer.
There to help, in the blink of an eye,
Offering assistance from on High.

He gives rest in days of adversity,
He can remove, our calamity.
A mighty God, so wondrous and true,
There to assist me; and also you.

When trouble surrounds me, on ev’ry side,
I must not forget, in Him to abide.
A moment away, when troubles abound,
God, to His children, is easily found.

I need Him most, so oft’ when I’m down,
He’s always willing; never a frown.
I can’t praise enough, our Creator,
Just He alone, does my soul adore.

When I praise God, it magnifies Him,
I focus on God, all else is dim.
His presence, power, and ability,
Make me aware of His Majesty.

When I praise God, it does humble me,
I do see myself, as I should be.
Pride and ego are gone, far away,
Humility instead, comes to stay.

When I praise God, I see His pure love.
This true love comes only from above.
He died on the Cross to set us free,
Deep, heartfelt love, He gave you and me.

When I praise God, it opens my heart,
I want to please Him, and from sin depart.
Wanting only His will to be done,
To imitate Jesus, God’s only Son.

When I praise God, peace floods my soul,
This peace of which, just He has control.
With Him also is joy, ev’ry day,
Joy, that no one can take away.

When I praise God, I see many things,
He’s done so much, given great blessings.
If it were not for Him, we’d go to Hell,
And never, ever, in Heaven dwell.

When I think of my precious Saviour,
I think of endless love, true and pure.
His radiant smile I seem to see,
That smile is nothing less than victory!

When I think of God’s own begotten Son,
I know He’s the only sinless One.
He condescended so willingly,
Leaving Heav’n’s glory, for you and me.

When I think of what He did on the Cross,
I can’t comprehend; I’m at a loss.
He paid the price I could never pay,
To grant me admission to Heav’n some day.

When I think of Jesus, Lord and King,
I know that without Him, I’m nothing.
His Heav’nly Home with me He’ll share,
For I’m God’s child; with Jesus joint-heir.

When no one else, will listen to you,
Jesus is a Friend, loving and true!
Loyal and faithful, because He cares,
He’ll always listen; He’s always there!

When no one else, will consoles in sorrow,
Jesus soothes you, now and tomorrow!
Tho’ you may weep and mourn in your grief,
He’ll always bring comfort and relief!

When no one else, will come to your aid,
Jesus will help you, don’t be afraid!
Compassionate and gentle is our Lord,
Doing for us, in willing accord!

When no one else cares, if things go wrong,
They all go away, and you’re not strong.
Jesus is there, with His awesome pow’r,
To change things around; you need not cow’r!

When no one else cares, if you’re lonely,
You feel forlorn, you’re in misery.
Jesus will not desert or abandon you,
His gracious Presence, is there anew.

When ev’ry one else, has forsaken you,
You can always trust, Jesus so true!
He will never leave, never forsake,
Whether you’re asleep, or wide awake!

When ev’ry one else, turns and runs away,
Count on Jesus, each and ev’ry day!
He will always be the true Friend we need,
No matter your plight, He’s there, with speed.

Sin will block you from our wondrous God,
Fellowship is halted, as you trod.
Sin, like a dark cloud, will come between,
Standing between you and God, as a screen.

In sin, we lose the “joy of salvation,”
Satan smiles at our degradation.
God’s Holy Spirit, we should not grieve,
We must turn away, from our sin leave.

Sin will always make your pathway dark,
Darkness prevails, when to Satan , you hark.
Dark black nights are sin and wickedness,
Ruled by old Satan, in his finesse.

We must confess our sin, night or day,
Our great God, we must love and obey.
Lament, mourn, and weep; true sorrow show,
Then turn and run; from sin and Satan, go!

If we obey Him, our path is bright,
Christ will lighten, with glorious light!
With Christ, it’s always bright shining day,
His brilliance always lights the way.

When e’er you sin; that cloud comes between,
Dark will be the way; the path can’t be seen.
Of that sin, you must repent, and confess,
God will forgive; this He does promise.

When Troubles Come

When troubles come, and you’ve done all you can,
Turn it over to Jesus, the Son of man.
When you simply cannot do any more,
Jesus is near, your faith to restore.

When you feel like screaming, because of pain,
Great comfort from Jesus, you can attain.
When you think to yourself, I’ve done all I can do,
Jesus is near you, and He can help you!

When great sorrow comes, and won’t depart,
Jesus can help, He has a loving heart.
He knows what’s happening, He sees you grieve,
Jesus is near you, sorrow to relieve.

He will not take all your problems away,
But He certainly can, brighten your day.
In all your troubles, with you He will walk,
Go to Him in pray’r, and to Him talk.

Jesus sees all your pain and agony,
My friend, He can help give you victory.
Jesus is near, His Presence you can feel,
And the comfort He gives you, is very real.

Jesus can help you, why struggle alone?
His Presence to you, He wants to make known.
Trust Him always, He won’t e’er let you down,
Wearing a smile is better than a frown.

When we pray to God, we pray as sons,
“Our Father”, is how our prayer is begun.
We speak to Him as loving children,
He’ll not turn His back, nor will He condemn.

When we pray, we pray as worshippers,
“Hallowed be thy Name”, for He is pure.
None other deserves honor and praise,
Our gratefulness we should always raise.

When we pray, we pray as His subjects,
“Thy Kingdom come”; on this we should reflect.
His pure Kingdom will come one day soon,
We must be ready, midnight or noon.

We pray as His servants, bold and free,
“Thy will be done”, for eternity.
Humbly and gratefully, accept God’s will,
And patiently learn, we should be still.

We pray as sinners, evil and vile,
“Forgive us our debts”; that we’re reconcil’d.
We must forgive our brother in love,
That God forgive us, from His Home above.

We pray as helpless ones, thru’ His Son,
“And lead us not into temptation.”
Help keep the evil one far away,
That he not tempt and lead us astray.

The poor crieth unto Him, and He hears,

Where Are We?

On His Shoulder, you’d be if you got lost,
Jesus would find you, no matter the cost.

Eternal life, to us He has giv’n,

On His loving Bosom, leaning so near,

Millions of roads, scatter this world so wide,
But just two lead, to where one day, you will reside.
Lusting and luring, are the devil's way,
He wins over so, so many, in these sinful.

Each and every day, he wins many more,
Keeping them away, from the Golden Shore.
To keep them on his road, he tempts, he deceives,
With each passing hour, millions he receives.

Each day, Satan enlists to serve him, more,
Slyly, subtly, keeping them from the Golden Shore,
He leads them, on and on, down his hellish road,
Cleverly persuading, with tricky goads.

As you read these words, that concern eternity,
Are you racing to Hell? Or to Heaven so free?
The choice belongs to no one, except you,
Which road will you choose? The false one, or the true?

Which one? That broad one that Satan makes easy,
That billions of his children, follow with glee?
More and more vile sinners, join Satan's crowd,
And of their wicked sins, they are pleased and proud.

Which one? That broad, dark, easy to travel one?
Or the narrow path, as you follow God's Son"
Both roads will lead, to your eternity,

God’s Word states that just a few, would walk the narrow path,
The majority sin, bringing down God’s wrath.
They sin by not believing, what’s in God’s Book,
A Book of Truth, if they’d just open and look.

Most of the ‘well knowns’ don’t believe, and deny,
And too they refuse, to accept and rely.
“Ridiculous” is what some media state,
Judgment Day will bring the answer, to their fate.

GOD sees the wickedness in the Earth, is so great,
 Man’s every imagination, God’s wrath frustrate.
Sin corrupting the Earth, is what God does see,
His verdict on Judgment Day, Hell eternally.

Those who believe not, are not in God’s fam’ly,
They follow the devil, in iniquity.
God’s children hear His Voice, and faithfully follow,
The devil’s own follow him, to Hell below.

Treacherous times lie ahead, as prophesied,
Yet more and more are rushing, to the devil’s side.
Most people never think, of eternity,
They just keep keeping on, in iniquity.

Judgment Day lies ahead, for one and for all,
Will you stand with the devil, and with him fall?
Or will you with Christ Jesus, take a firm stand?

Who helps me, in my time of need?

Just who is ‘wicked’ in God’s eyes?
ANYONE, who will Jesus deny!
ALL who refuse to believe God,
ALL who think Jesus is a fraud.

MOST don’t consider themselves ‘wicked’,
But without Christ, they are as dead.
Spiritually dead, in God’s eyes,
Doomed to Hell in the by and by.

Thoughts of the ‘wicked’ God does hate,
He is far from them, shutting the gate.
He won’t accept their sacrifice,
All that they offer, He denies!

Prayer from the ‘wicked’ WON’T be heard,
Tho’ they speak, with wondrous words.
He will hide His eyes, turn His back,
For it is Jesus, whom they lack!

If you reject Christ, God’s own Son,
To God, you are ‘wicked’, and He’ll shun.
Your unbelief calls God a liar,
And you are headed, for Hell-fire.

The greatest sin is unbelief,
Unless you change, you’ll have much grief.
Turn to Jesus, trust Him today,

Who are these that are ‘poor in spirit’?
It’s those whose lives to God they commit.
They depend on God for ev’rything,

Those grieving sin, as a horrid disease.
The nature and results of sin they grieve,
For themselves and others, they are bereav’d.

Who are ‘the meek’ of whom Jesus talks?
It’s those willing to walk, as He did walk.
Living life under God’s authority,
And thanking Him for the serenity.

Who hungers and thirsts for righteousness?
It’s those who love God, and want Him to bless.
Those who accept God’s good and right things,
Those who love and praise Him, and to Him sing.

Those who are ‘merciful’, who are they?
Those who try God’s character to portray.
Showing undeserved compassion and love,
On all those around, as God above.

Too, of ‘the pure in heart’ Jesus speaks,
These strive earnestly God’s will to seek.
God’s Word simply cleanses them inside,
And God’s Spirit in them does abide.

Jesus speaks of ‘the peacemakers’ too,
They have a great job that they pursue.
They reconcile people to their God,
And to each other as this Earth we trod.

Does God’s Word state, who’s doomed to Hell?
Friend, over and over, it does tell.
Except that a man be ‘born again’,
He’ll not see Heaven; ‘tis very plain!

You must be born into God’s family,

The Gospel of our Lord, you must obey,
Or vengeance will fall on Judgment Day.

Who don't . . . want the Lord's amazing grace?
And one day to see, His awesome Face?
When we can thank Him, for all He's done,

Who don't . . . want to meet Christ in the sky?
This is for all, who would not Christ deny.
A special meeting, on a special day,
When our new bodies, we will display!

Who don't . . . want the Father's Divine love?

Redeem’d us from Hell, for eternity!

WHEN? should I turn to Him, to save me?
Now is the time; He’ll grant victory.
Jesus is the Christ; do you believe?
By your faith, salvation you’ll receive.

WHERE? would be the right and proper place?
Any place at all; God will grant His grace.
Humble yourself, repent and be saved,
You’ll no longer be the devil’s slave.

WHY? do you need Jesus as Saviour?
Only the Christ, Heaven can ensure.
Without Him, there’s just the door to Hell,
And there in agony, you will dwell.

HOW? can you reach that city of gold?
Accept Christ, and you’re into God’s fold.

Without Christ Jesus, we’ll not cast lust away,
The devil will make sure, it is there to stay.
Only Christ Jesus, can turn your world around,
Only He can give you, blessings that abound!

Without Christ, the bliss of Heav’n, you will not see,
Instead it shall be, horrid Hell’s agony.
Only Judge Jesus, can give you a reprieve,
When you believe God, and by faith Christ receive!

Without Christ Jesus, your sins you shall retain,
When there is no forgiveness, your sins remain.
Just Jesus can cast, your sins into the sea,
Granting you pardon, for your iniquities!

When you trust and accept Christ, He’s on your side,

There are so many times we ask “Why?”,
Our sad heart simply breaks as we cry.
A loved one is gone; taken away,
A true ‘Friend’ can help, and be our stay!

“Why?”, we do ask when dire troubles come,
We can’t seem to discern, gone is wisdom.
These times are dreadful, and we have fear,
There is ‘One’ who can help, and He is near!

“Why? did this ever happen to me?
Do I deserve this kind of agony?”
Hard times will come to each one that lives,
Just our loyal ‘Friend’, true comfort gives!

When fiery trials on you befall,
It’s a way of testing, the great and small.
One of two choices you have in store,
Turn your back on God; or love Him more!

When disaster strikes, don’t ask God “Why?”,
Run to His arms; don’t ever deny.
He’ll strengthen, encourage, and comfort you,
He’ll not leave nor forsake, He’s always true!

Why do I do things I want not to do?
Every day, as I start out anew?
Some things I do make me so ashamed,
I’ve no excuse, I’m completely to blame!

I should try to be like my dear Lord,
I know I should live as He says in His Word.
But each day I fall short, and I do sin,
Why do I let Satan continue to win?

Instead of sharp angry words that cause strife,
I should speak e’er lovingly in my life!
Instead of many frowns, and those harsh stares,
I should always smile, and show others I care.

Instead of looking for faults in others,
I should look for good in my brothers.
Instead of thinking or doing mean things,
I should show deep love, and happiness bring.

I’m so ashamed of the awful I do,
Sins so dark, they can’t be misconstrued.
Please help me Jesus, more like you to be,
And from all my evils, please set me free.

Lord Jesus, why can’t I be more like you?
Why do I do the awful things I do?

Why are they so blind, why can’t they see?
Just Jesus controls eternity!
Ev’n some who proclaim Him, say it’s okay,
To put others first, as they walk their way.

Why can’t they see, why are they so blind?
To put earthly things first, and leave Him behind!
Why can’t they see, that Jesus is KING?
And that He comes first, o’er everything!

Why are they so blind, why can’t they see?
Their eyes cannot see eternity!
Stumbling at noon, as if it were night,
They simply don’t have spiritual sight.

Why can’t they see, why are they so blind?
Just worldly ‘things’ seem to fill their mind!
Can’t they see, only Jesus is true?
It breaks my heart, as their plight I view!

I know Satan has blinded them all,
Spiritually they grope around, but fall!
I know just Jesus can bring them ‘light,’
Just His wondrous grace can set them right.

Such great sadness, it just tears me apart,
That they can’t ‘see’ Jesus, with their heart!
Ev’n some who proclaim Him, to Him are not near,
Christ we should always love and revere!

Jesus said there would be just a few,
Who would walk the ‘strait’ road; find life anew!
Too, He said He would bring division,
To accept or reject God’s own Son!

Persecution comes if you take His side,
There always when in Him you abide!
But He is most important to me,

Why Can’t They See??

No matter where on Earth, we would reside,
There is NO where, from Your wrath we could hide.
From Your storehouse in Heaven, to Earth below,
Immense devastation, You can bestrow.

Of all the Universe, You are in control,
Your holy wrath on sin, can take its toll.
You cause severe drought, in one part of the land,
While floods in another, come by Your Hand.

Dangerous tornadoes, bring devastation,
Destroying property, and habitation.
Their wide swath create, an unsightly path,
Yet people won’t believe, they come from Your wrath.

Such deadly earthquakes, all over the world,
As the wrath of Almighty God, is unfurl’d.
Volcanoes erupting, with ash miles high,
Yet haters of God, disobey and deny.

Tsunamis in the seas, many lives claim,
Yet sinners will not repent, just complain.
Why can’t they see, ‘tis God’s holy, righteous wrath,
Still they continue, on the devil’s path.

Adultery and homosexuality,
Incest, rape, lust, drunkenness, idolatry.
Prostitution, common on city streets,
Obscene clothing, and depravity complete.

Judgment on sin was brought, by God in the past,
Sin and iniquity, so wide and vast.
Why can’t they see, why won’t they understand,
God’s holy wrath, will one day cleanse this land.

Please my friend, consider eternity,
You do NOT want Hell, as your destiny.
Repent of your sin, turn to Christ today,
Only then will you ev’r go, Heaven’s way.

Why do I do things, I know are wrong?
Lord, I want no part, of Satan's throng.
Things I know I should do, I do not,
It seems like in the devil's snare, I'm caught.

Oft when I sin, I think of Paul's dread,
It's as if on Satan's road, I'm being led.
Right from wrong, this I indeed do know,
Yet I mess up, and go with the flow.

The Bible is right, all sinners are we,
On our journey, to eternity.
Temptation deceives, the best of the best,
We must not give in, to our devilish pest.

God's rules are good, yet I disobey,
I do things that I hate, ev'ry day.
In my canal flesh, dwells no good thing,
Evil, no glory to God, will bring.

The good that I would, I do not do,
But Lord, all evil I do, upsets You.
The "new man" within me, hates all sin,
The battle goes on, the "new me" shall win!

A raging battle goes on, deep inside,
The bad and the new, both within me reside.
The old carnal me, still wrong things do,
But the new me, just wants right and true.

I praise God, for one day I'll sin no more,
For Christ paid my way, to the Heav'n'ly shore.
A sinless body, like His, He'll give to me,
And I'll sin no more, thru' eternity.

I look to the day, in the clouds You'll come,
And take all God's TRUE children, to Your Home.

I know I should not worry or fear,
I should trust You, for I know You are near.
E’er so subtly, Satan tempts me,
And I fail You, and lose victory.

Why do I fail You, as oft’ as I do?
Why can’t I trust, obey and be true?
Why do I to wickedness, give in?
When I know in my heart, You hate sin!

I know doubt should not enter my mind,
I know to Satan, I should be blind.
Yet sometimes I do doubt my place in Heav’n,
And doubt that all my sins are forgiv’n.

Lord, over and over, You I fail,
My correcting it, is to no avail.
Without You, Lord, I can’t do a thing.
Your help and wisdom, are true blessings.

I know that within me, no good thing dwells,
On my own, no evil can I quell.
The good that I should do, I do not do,
But evil I don’t want, bursts on thru’.

All the things that I hate, that do I,
On my own Lord, I can’t qualify.
My old nature wars, with the new me,
O Lord, free me from sin’s captivity.

A truly, woeful and wretched man, that’s me,
On my own, I cannot have victory.

Just You can keep me on that narrow way.

Lord Jesus, let Your light shine on my path,
I know just You can keep me from God’s wrath.

Why do I follow this Man as I do?
When those in the world who serve Him are few?
Millions turn away, from what He does teach,
But there are some souls, that His Words do reach.

Why do I follow Him? Is it the glory?
No, it’s because He loves and forgives me.
It’s not for rewards I hope to receive,
It’s because His Words, I trust and believe.

Does He shelter me, from all suff’ring and pain?
No, I do have sunshine, but also rain.
I do have my burdens that I must bear,
But He helps me carry them, for He cares.

As I follow Jesus, I am never alone,
His Presence to me, is clearly shown.
Tho’ I never know what tomorrow brings,
I know He’ll bring my way, many blessings.

His love, joy and peace, and mercy abound,
Deep within my soul, His blessings are found.
His grace is sufficient, and there always,
That’s why I long to be with Him, all my days.

His Words of Truth redeem’d me, and inspire,
Words deep in my heart, like a burning fire.
I’ll follow this Jesus, each day I live,
And to those around me, His Words I’ll give.

I’ll follow this Man, Jesus, willingly,
Why He loves this sinner, is a mystery.

“You think your way is the only way,”
I’ve had people this, so smugly say.
Christ said “Believe on Him and be saved,”
If we don’t we’re condemned, and sin’s slave.

‘My way’ is the ‘WAY’ of God’s true Word,
‘Tis the one ‘True way’, all others are barred.
Christ is the ‘Way’, the ‘Truth’ and the ‘Life’,
All other ‘ways’ are false, and errors are rife.

Christ said there would be only a few,
Just look around , you’ll see His Words are true.
All the cults, great with people and power,
Will all , one day, before Jesus cower.

Christ Jesus and the Father are ‘ONE’,
Perfect in oneness, Father and Son.
When we believe, us they will save,
But if we reject, we’re Satan’s slave.

Why do I know they’re wrong, and I’m right?
Just open the Bible; God will shed light.
Folks will give heed to seducing spirits,
And to doctrines of devils they’ll submit.

Selfish, covetous, blasphemers, proud,
Unthankful, unholy, a fierce crowd.
Traitors, lovers of self, and hate God,
No natural affection, the world abroad.

All these things and more are here this day,
Most folks join in such shameless display.
I know I’m right, ‘cause I believe God,
For He’s Almighty God, and not a fraud.

Why do I love Him? Because He first loved me!
This Awesome Man, who died on Calvary.
Jesus died, my sin penalty to pay,
There is NO other, this love could display!

He left the safety, of His Home in Heav’n,
He came willingly, was not forced or driv’n.
Jesus Christ knew full well, what to expect, 
Knew that no one, would comfort or protect.

Why do I love Him? He’s a wondrous Friend!
His Promise, to be with me to the end!
When troubles come our way, we need not fear,
This Amazing Friend, will always be bear!

He will support me, He will strengthen me,
With this Friend, we can have victory!
Jesus will uphold me, with His Right Hand,
If I will obey, when He does command!

Why do I love Him? He blesses with peace!
He can make my stressful, troubling times, cease!
Our hearts need not be troubled, or afraid,
Jesus’ marvelous peace, comes to our aid!

He gives me His Spirit, to dwell within,
A Great Assistance, to keep me from sin!
So many reasons, why I love the Lord,
As I look forward, to a Heav’n’ly reward.

How I love Thee Lord, for so many ways,

“Why do I need Christ?” so many ask,

“Jesus” they say, “Of Him I have no need,”

“Why do I need Christ?” some scoff and jeer,

They keep traveling down the devil’s path,

“Why do I need Christ?” I said once too,
For I did rebel, the same as you!
Then one sweet day ev’ry thing did change,
Jesus, my whole life, did rearrange!

I clearly saw my NEED for Him was great,
And no longer did I hesitate!
I open’d the door to my stubborn heart,
Christ came in, and gave me a whole new start!

He saved my soul from Hell’s agony,
And from the bonds of sin, He set me free!
He replaced my cold heart, with one of love,
And filled it with peace and joy from above!

Why do YOU need Christ? I’ll tell you true,
Just Jesus can make a brand new you!
He’ll give you the ‘key’ to Heaven’s door,

WHY DO YOU PUT UP WITH ME? . . . April 2005 Message

My Lord, why do You put up with me?
I’m filled with sin and iniquity.
A sinner, from the day I was born,
Precious Lord, for my sin, I do mourn.

I’d understand, if You’d turn away,
But You promise, to be with me alway.
This humble sinner, to You does turn,
And for Your loving grace, I do yearn.

There are many things I do, I should not do,
Yet my old nature, goes barging thru’.
Many things I say, I should not say,
Your mournful servant, sins ev’ry day.

Things that I should do, I do not do,
Ev’n tho’ I try, to keep my mind on You.
A grieving sinner, before You stands,
My heart and my life, are in Your Hands.

You do put up with a lot from me,
So awesome is Your grace and mercy.
Forgiveness I ask, from You each day,
You ne’er refuse, but forgive alway.

I’m a wretched sinner, deliver me,
I want out of sin’s captivity.
Present within me, is wickedness,
Lord help me instead, to have blessedness.

On my own, I can do nothing at all,
On my own, I’d have, such a great fall.
Just with You Lord, can I have victory,
A mansion in Heav’n, eternally.

If you are God’s child, suffering is good for you,
It may not seem so at the time, but this is true!
Suffering draws us, much closer to our God,
It shows that we need Him, as our road we trod.

He sends suffering and trials, our faith to test,
Tho’ at times it seems, that He gives us no rest.
We are to rejoice, o’er the good AND the bad,
Someday in Heaven, we be extremely glad.

He gives suffering, to take away our pride,
He wants us to be meek; He wants to be our Guide.
It’s not too much to ask, He wants us to be wise,
Pride puts you in Hell, so you, He wants to revise.

Suffering teaches us, on Him we should depend,
But it seems o’er and o’er, our God we offend.
There’s nothing that we can do, on our very own,
If it doesn’t come from God, all we do is groan.

Suffering teaches patience, in our very life,
For without patience, we’ll surely have strife.
God wants us to simply, upon Him to wait,
He’s always there, just be patient at His gate.

We feel pity for suffering, of those all about,
And once we go thru’ it, we’ll surely know the route.
Only then can we truly know, what they go thru’,
Then we can give comfort, the same that God gave you.

Suffering also makes us, much more like our Lord,
NO one suffered more than Him; look in His Word!
Why should we be so bitter, and to God complain?
Each time we suffer, or have a little pain?

Why should we thank our Creator God?
Many do ask, as wrong paths they trod.
There are many things to thank Him for,
And many more that He holds in store.

Thank Him for forgiveness; He makes us clean,

Thank Him for protection; we need not fear,

God’s Word states that just a few, would walk the narrow path,
The majority sin, bringing down God’s wrath.
They sin by not believing, what’s in God’s Book,
A Book of Truth, if they’d just open and look.

Most of the ‘well knowns’ don’t believe, and deny,
And too they refuse, to accept and rely.
“Ridiculous” is what some media state,
Judgment Day will bring the answer, to their fate.

GOD sees the wickedness in the Earth, is so great,
 Man’s every imagination, God’s wrath frustrate.
Sin corrupting the Earth, is what God does see,
His verdict on Judgment Day, Hell eternally.

Those who believe not, are not in God’s fam’ly,
They follow the devil, in iniquity.
God’s children hear His Voice, and faithfully follow,
The devil’s own follow him, to Hell below.

Treacherous times lie ahead, as prophesied,
Yet more and more are rushing, to the devil’s side.
Most people never think, of eternity,
They just keep keeping on, in iniquity.

Judgment Day lies ahead, for one and for all,
Will you stand with the devil, and with him fall?
Or will you with Christ Jesus, take a firm stand?

These words came to me the night that the federal judges came up with the so-called decision to make 'gay marriage' a law in all 50 states. I have taught the Bible for over 40 years and I believe the Bible! This goes against what God clearly states in His Holy Word. God will put up with this continual, willful sin so long and then He will lower the boom just as He did with the Flood and with the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. BEWARE!!! See what God has to say about homosexuality!

Will I know Him that day, when Him I see?
In the clouds above, coming for me?
The Rapture will be, one awesome day,

Will I know Him, at the Judgment Seat?
When Christ judges all my works complete?
By what motives I had, He will judge,
Never from righteousness, will He budge!

Will I really know Him, when Him I see?
In my eternal Home, waiting for me?
He’ll have more glory, that street of gold,
Or the glist’ning walls, God’s Word has foretold!

When Jesus I see, will Him I know?
When His true glory, and brightness show?
I will know Him, and fall at His Feet,
When my precious Saviour, I finally meet!

Though I’ve never seen my precious Lord,
And His actual Voice, I’ve never heard,

Without Jesus

Without Jesus, I was headed for Hell,
Wicked Satan, had me under his spell.
I had no concern for sin, no worry,
And I never thought of eternity.

Without Jesus, I would walk the broad road,
I'd have much help, as the devil would goad.
Old Satan wants to keep me, by his side,
He does not want me, with Christ to abide.

Without Jesus, my troubles would be worse,
Satan really tries, to keep me off course.
'Tis a comfort, that Christ's Presence won't leave,
A great blessing indeed, when e'er I grieve.

Without Jesus, many things could go wrong,
For Satan does not want us, to be strong.
I must abide in Christ, or I am weak,
Jesus' love, mercy and pow'r, I must seek.

Without Jesus, there is nothing I can do,
Useless are all efforts, as Heav'n I'd pursue.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life,
Without Christ, all I'd have is Hell and strife.

Without Jesus, no home in Heav'n would there be,
To my mansion above, just Christ has the key.
Jesus has gone, this mansion to prepare,
That where He is, I can also be there.

Without Jesus, I cannot be God's heir,
My inheritance in Heav'n, would not be there.

Without Jesus, O’ where would I be?
In the dark depths, of Hell’s agony.
God’s Plan was to save, sinners from Hell,
And give access to Heav’n, where He dwells,

God sent, His only begotten Son,
The Old Covenant, was ended, done.
The Gospel of Christ Jesus, took its place,
Bloody sacrifice was replaced, by God’s grace.

Without Jesus, we’re God’s enemy,
Future things to come, we cannot see.
With faith in Christ Jesus, all things change,
The Holy Ghost, our life does rearrange.

When Christ Jesus, is our Advocate,
With God the Father, we highly rate.
Faith allows us, a great distance see,
Things that to most, are a mystery.

We can see, Jesus come in the clouds,
And we can see ourselves, in that crowd.
We too see, things we don’t want to see,
Millions, headed for Hell’s agony.

The Kingdom of Christ, we see out there,
We too see obedience, everywhere.
 With a rod of iron, Jesus shall reign,
The perfect will of God, He’ll maintain.

We too can see, the Heav’nly city,
And we get a glimpse, of its glory.
We can also see, the mansions there,
Prepared by the Saviour, in loving care!

Our inheritance in Heav’n, we can see,
Our future home, for eternity.
No more to roam, as pilgrims on Earth,
We see a place, of much better worth!

True wisdom comes, from knowing the Lord,
‘Tis found, in the pages of His Word.
To fear the Lord, is where we must start,
And from Him and His Word, ne’er depart.

To wisdom my friend, incline thine ear,
Apply thine heart, to sincerely hear.
He lays up wisdom, for the upright,
Keep Scriptures always, within thy sight.

True wisdom, is the principle thing,
Also important, understanding.
Our Lord Jesus, teaches wisdom’s way,
On right paths He leads us, ev’ry day.

Wisdom comes, from the mouths of the just,
Our Lord and His Word, we simply must trust.
The froward tongue, is that of a fool,
They refuse to submit, to Christ’s rule.

Wisdom does rest, in a wise man’s heart,
That which is in the midst of fools, departs.
True wisdom, is much better than gold,
This is what the Lord, in His Word has told.

From our worldly wisdom, we must cease,
Only Godly wisdom, brings us peace.
Christ is our wisdom, and righteousness,
The wisdom of the world, is foolishness.

Wisdom and knowledge, are hidden treasure,
Bringing to us, spiritual pleasure.
If you lack wisdom, go to God and ask,
Abundant wisdom is yours, for ev’ry task.

Without a Paddle

Without a paddle, in an upstream creek,
Is that how you feel, when comfort you seek?
Troubles, worries, doubts; can ruin your day,
Struggling upstream, as you go your way.

In an upstream creek; with no paddle to row,
Depression makes you feel, there’s no place to go.
All the friends you choose, turn out to be wrong,
No matter what you do, Satan is strong.

Without a paddle, your boat won’t progress,
And the roaring, rough waters, won’t regress.
The devil is at you, on ev’ry side,
Traps he lays for you, are like a high tide.

Only one answer, will help you my friend,
Pray to the Father, that help He will send.
When you find yourself, so low to the ground,
Your faith in the Lord Jesus, must abound.

Christ is your Paddle, when you’re in that stream,
Life without Jesus, is the devil’s dream.
When you struggle upstream, without Christ’s pow’r,
The devil’s tricks won’t let up, ev’n an hour.

Christ is your Paddle, in that upstream creek,
When you need comfort, it’s Him you should seek.
Just Jesus can make it, a better day,
Jesus can show you, an easier way.

Think of what it would be like, without Him,

He’d not encourage, for He’d not be there,
There’d be none to love us, none to care.

We’d be so lost, without Him to guide,
We’d lose our way, in this world so wide.
Unless Christ illuminates the way,
Darkness would fill ev’n the brightest day.

Without Him, we would fall flat on our face,
For there would be no amazing grace.
Without Him, who would supply our needs?
And help us speak good words, do good deeds?

I don’t want to think of life without Him,
With Satan at the helm, life would be grim.
I thank You Lord, for Your presence so near,

Without Jesus, I’d not have forgiveness,
And I’d die in my sins and wickedness.
Without Jesus, God would not justify,
I’d be God’s enemy, me He’d deny.

Without Jesus, I’d have no strength at all,

And from pride and greed, I’d not depart.

Without Jesus, Satan would have pow’r o’er me,

Without Jesus, I’d not have any hope,
Like a blind man, in a strange place, I’d grope.
Without Jesus, I’d never, be God’s child,
I’d be with the devil, in agony.

Without Jesus, troubles would take control,
With Him, I have peace, it’s well with my soul.
Without Jesus, sorrow would make me grieve,
With Him, He will never forsake or leave.

Without Jesus, the world takes hold of me,
With Him, treasures I store, in eternity.

With Him, doubt, stress and worry, find release.

Without Jesus, Heav’n would never be mine,
With Him, that golden street, one day I’ll find.

All that I do, I do for my Lord,
I just want to praise Him, and His Word.
I just want to glorify His Name,
I do not want any Earthly fame.

Without my Lord, I’m nothing at all,
He must give me strength, or I would fall.
I give Him credit, for ev’ry thing,
For all that He’s done, my heart does sing.

I am tempted; my flesh is weak,
The end result; great havoc I wreak.
Without Christ, there’s nothing I can do,
But when I turn to Him, He’ll rescue.

I’m just a mere branch; Christ is the Vine,
I must be nourished, by Christ, divine.
Without Him, I can do nothing at all,
But He’s always there, when I do call.

His strength is made perfect in weakness,
His grace is sufficient; He will bless.
All our sufficiency, is of God,
No matter who, or the road we trod.

All that I do, my Lord does equip,
And with His help, I won’t ever slip.
But I must remember, don’t go alone,
For without His help, I’d stumble and groan.

He will direct my steps, if I ask,
And grant strength and wisdom, for ev’ry task.
If only I will trust and obey,

Without You, I can do nothing at all,
I stumble around, and completely fall.
So many obstacles get in my way,
I need Your wisdom, to show the right way.

Without You Lord Jesus, it’s dark as night,
I can’t ev’n o’ertake my smallest plight.
I know You must think, I should soon learn,
Yet Your blessed knowledge, I seem to spurn.

Without You Lord, my nourishment is gone,
I am as a dead branch, I’m the devil’s pawn.
There’s no strength to get me thru’ ev’n one hour,
Temptations o’ercome me, without Your pow’r.

Without You, I build on stubble and straw,
My house will fall, for it’s feeble and flaw’d.
My works will burn, if I don’t build on You,
I need You Lord, to show me what to do.

As the years pass by, I learn more and more,
Without You I’ll never see, Heaven’s shore.
Without You Lord, I have no righteousness,
For only WITH You, will the Father bless.

Without You I’ll never be justified,
By God the Father, I will be denied.
Without You forgiv’n, my sins would ne’er be,

Without You, I am totally lost,
I’ve seriously, considered the cost.
Hell would rise up, and beckon to me,

My guard is down, as the devil stalks.
Satan’s fiery darts, will penetrate,
Without You, I’d not have, the shield of faith.

Without You, all my strength seems to fail,
Any pow’r I have, is to no avail.
When troubles come my way, I am weak,
Without You, my life is truly bleak.

Without You precious Lord, I lack love,
I join those in the world who push and shove.
Hate and evil, abound ev’ry day,

Against the Lord, is all they say and do,
They provoke God’s glory, e’er so true.
It matters not, as in sin they walk,
Too, they scorn and blaspheme God in their talk.

As Sodom, their open sin they declare,
They hide it not, as wickedness they share.
Great woe they do bring, to their very soul,
Tho’ they seem not to care, Hell is their goal.

In all they say and do, God they disobey,
Living like there won’t be, a Judgment Day.
They’ll receive evil for their wickedness,
God will never, these evil sinners bless.

Unto the wicked, there will be great woe,
The reward of their hands, will bring sorrow.
Unless these sinners, change their wicked ways,

WOES . . . August 2012 Message

To religious leaders of that day,
Our Lord did not have much good to say.
I wonder what He’d say to ours now,
For so few of them to God does bow.

“Woe”, He said, you won’t enter Heaven,
Tho’ the prophets and I, the way have given.
And you keep others from coming in,
This, I say, is grievous sin.

“Woe”, He said, with your pious prayer,
Then robbing widows without a care.
“Woe”, He said, when you do proselyte,
Teaching false doctrine, dark as night.

“Woe”, He said, to chase man’s tradition,
And not take God in consideration.
For who is greater? man or the Lord?
Yet so many do His Word discard.

‘Woe”, He said, as your tithes you do pay,
And not do greater things in your day.
Righteousness, justice, faith, and mercy,
These ought come first, or you are faulty.

“Woe”, He said, you are filthy inside,
Caring just for appearance outside.
“Woe”, He said, you’re white washed grave stones,
Outward beauty, in, full of dead men’s bones.

“Woe”, He said, you think you did learn from the past,
But your actions show, learning fled fast.
The prophets you did persecute and kill,
From Abel to Zacharias, you had no fill.

If the Lord were here with us today,
I wonder what He would have to say.
Just how many ‘Woes” would He pronounce?
How many of us, would He denounce?

The best life possible, here on Earth,
In Heaven would be, simply no worth.
It surely would be sheer misery,
In blissful Heaven’s eternity.

Earth’s greatest riches cannot compare,
To the glory of Heaven, as God’s heir.
God’s children will live in Heav’n on high,
He shall dwell with us, in the by and by.

Delightful comfort, here in this place,
Would be agony, when we see His Face.
Any happiness that we now know,
Would in Heaven, be a drear shadow.

The greatest joy ever known to man,
Would be just sorrow, in Heaven’s span.
Life here on this Earth cannot compare,
To life with Jesus, in Heaven’s fare.

Heaven is too wonderful for words,
‘Tis the Home of our glorious Lord.
We can’t imagine Heaven’s beauty,
It’s there, we will live eternally.

If you know Jesus as Saviour and Lord,
Heav’n is yours, according to His Word.
Contentment, peace, joy, and perfect rest,
All wait in Heav’n, for God gives His best.

Wonders in God’s Creation

The way of an eagle in the air,
Is something that God, with us does share.
The way of a serpent on a rock,
Gives us warning, as where we should walk.

The way of a ship, in the midst of hew sea,
Sailing so smoothly and gracefully.
A man and a woman falling in love,
Could only come from our God above.

Ants are a people, they are not strong,
They prepare their food, all summer long.
Conies are feeble, make their homes in the rocks,
Where they take refuge, when predators stalk.

Locusts have no king, yet go forth by bands,
Creating havoc, throughout the lands.
Spiders grab with their hands, are in king’s palaces,
These creatures are something we all face.

The lion is strong, turns not away,
From any who confront him, any day.
A greyhound, a he-goat and a king,
There is no rising up against these things.

Our God created all things, ev’rywhere,
No one, anywhere, with Him can compare.
All creatures differ, He made them that way,
A great gath’ring, He puts on display.

Proverbs 30


The world overlooks, the Greatest Treasure,
All they desire, is riches and pleasures.
Just of the ‘here and now’, do people think,
They don’t realize that they, are on death’s brink.

The Greatest Treasure, the world cannot see,
For they never think, of eternity.
Always too busy, to ev’n look His way,
They are too busy, rushing thru’ their day.

The world overlooks, what Jesus can do,
He and He alone to Heav’n, can take you.
But most people think, there are many ways,
And they just reject, what the Bible says!

When the world, the Greatest Treasure denies,
Satan rejoices, and false hopes applies.
People follow him, on that big broad road,
That lead to agony, in Hell’s abode.

The world speaks of Christ, just in blasphemy,
Cursing, vile jokes, friend, this should not be!
And they call those who love Him, Jesus’ freaks,
On Judgment Day, fear shall come, when Jesus speaks.

IF the world would just turn, to the Greatest Treasure,
He could give them comfort, peace and pleasure.
His grace is sufficient for us, always,
And He ne’er leaves, ne’er forsakes, all our days.

For the whole world, this Great Treasure is there.
Jesus is available, everywhere!
Be wise my friend, accept Jesus today,
For to get to Heav’n, there’s no other way!

Worldly riches, to most are precious,
Satan tempts with what is spurious.
Silver and gold, and possessions galore,
Folks gather together, and adore.

Heaping riches as dust of the Earth,
Will profit nothing, be of no worth.
We brought nary a thing, when we came,
And when we leave, it shall be the same.

Riches make you forget the Lord God,
You worship them, not Him, as you trod.
Hardly any rich, shall enter Heav’n,
Instead, the gates of Hell will be giv’n.

In Heav’n, is where your treasures should be,
Not here on this Earth, for all to see.
For where your treasure is, your heart is too,
Heav’n will be granted, to just a few.

What maketh rich? blessings of the Lord,
He will add no sorrow, nor discord.
No greater wealth than Christ, can be found,
Wondrous riches, in Him, do abound!

The devil’s temptations cannot compare,
To the blessings of the Lord, way up there.
Worldly riches are temporary,
Blessings of the Lord, last eternally.

The world has quite a lot to offer you,
Seemingly hiding, God’s blessings from view.
Greed makes one lust for possessions and wealth,
Turning hearts away, from spiritual health.

Gone tomorrow are riches of today,
The blessings the Lord gives, are for alway.
Satan subtly leads to covetousness,
Just Christ’s narrow road, leads to blessedness.

The devil will truly try to deceive,
True blessings, just from God you will receive.
Heav’n is for ev’ry one, Satan will tell,
But friend, without Christ, you’ll end up in Hell.

Tales Satan tells, are dangerous indeed,
So we must always, to the Lord pay heed.
From Satan’s big, broad road, please stay away,
Jesus’ narrow road, is the only way.

Riches fly like an eagle, far away,
Here for you now, but gone the v’ry next day.
Lust for riches, make you fall in a snare,
Don’t let the devil catch you unaware.

Worry won’t make problems go away,
It just brings stress to burden your day.
Worry puts nagging doubts in your mind,
Peace you long for is then hard to find.

We are told “Be anxious for nothing,”
To obey these words, brings a blessing.
We should always trust in His Holy Name,
Doubting Christ, will always bring shame.

We should place our worries in Christ’s Hands,
And on His Promises, firmly stand.
He promises all our burdens to share,
This wondrous Saviour, who truly cares.

Worry leads to stress, stress leads to doubt,
Ask Jesus to cast the devil out.
Worry can clearly consume your thoughts,
You don’t want in this trap to be caught.

Worry reduces your faith and trust,
These to our Lord, is simply a must.
Worry will never do any good,
‘Tis something that should be understood.

Those who depend on God, He won’t neglect,
His e’er watchful eye will always protect.
One day at a time, for He will aid,
We need not worry or be afraid.

Worry And Fear

Worry meets, and then joins up with fear,
Now Bible Truths, are no longer clear.
Doubt then steps in, is no help at all,
Life is stressful, headed for a fall.

Unbelief, puts you on the broad path,
This leads only, to God’s Holy wrath.
It’s so, so wrong, to walk in darkness,
When Christ Jesus’ Light, could truly bless!

Hatred too, causes us not to see,
Keeping us from, life eternally.
Hatred is darkness, that blinds our eyes,
For a “mansion,” we won’t qualify.

Distress, dread, worry, fright, and mistrust,
None of these, are what God wants for us.
We must set the Lord, before us always,
Trusting Him constantly, all our days.

We must stay, on paths of righteousness,
And have no fellowship, with darkness.
The angels that sinned, God did not spare,
Chained in darkness of Hell, they are there.

Unbelief and distrust, of all kinds,
Leads to us being, so deaf and blind.
Trusting in faith, gives life everlasting,
A “mansion” in Heav’n, God’s great blessing!

Some paths may seem right to you, but they're wrong,
They will just lead you, to Satan's throng.
Christ must lead, or it's not a path of light,
That path leads to the broad road, dark as night.

So many small paths, lead the wrong way,
Folks choose pleasure, in their lives today.
It's a "ME" world, the Lord they forget,
They can't see it, but one day they'll regret.

What small path, are you walking today?
So, so many, will lead the wrong way.
Anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy,
Lust, cursing, lies and idolatry.

Folks start out thinking, "It's not so bad,"
But as the Lord watches, He is sad.
Christ wants for you, just the very best,
And most small paths, don't lead to Heav'n's rest.

Those paths you walk, may seem right to you,
But friend, the Lord has a diff'rent view.
So innocent, is what you may think,
But all wrong paths, to Hell are a link.

All wrong paths, lead you to the broad road,
And that broad road leads, to Hell's abode.
You must stop, all your known iniquity,
And you must stop thinking, of me, me, me.

Those wrong paths, may seem right to you,
As you start each morning, all anew.
We all must consider, eternity,
As we live, 'neath God's close scrutiny.

God wants His children, to choose right paths,
He does not want us, under His wrath.
Those small wrong paths, that you think are right,
Could lead to Satan's road, black as night.

We all must allow, the Lord to lead,
And to His guidance, we must pay heed.
We must always choose, paths that are right,
And walk with Christ, on His path of light.
