POEMS . . . I-a
“I AM”
“I am the Way” Jesus clearly tells,
Only Christ can save your soul from Hell.
“I am the Truth” Christ Jesus reveals,
Only His Spirit, your soul can seal.
“I am the Life” Jesus plainly states,
Only Christ can lead you to Heaven’s gate.
“I am the Bread of Life” Jesus does say,
Partake of Him, each and ev’ry day.
“I am the Living Water” Jesus cries,
Your spiritual thirst, He won’t deny.
“I am the Light of the World” Christ informs,
Be it day or night, in calm or storms.
Jesus states: “I am the Door of the sheep,”
All God’s children, He will safely keep
“I am the Good Shepherd” is Jesus claim,
No matter our trial, He will remain.
“I am the Vine” is Christ Jesus’ plea,
“For you can do nothing, without Me.”
“I am the resurrection, and Son of God,”
This goes for ALL nations, the world abroad.
If you don’t know Jesus as Saviour today,
To get to Heaven, there’s NO other way!
He is the “I AM” who can save your soul,
Only Christ Jesus has complete control.

I AM NEVER ALONE
I am never alone, I have no fear,
For my “Special Friend” is always near!
He will never forsake, nor ever leave,
A promise for ever, we should not grieve.
I am never alone, in day or night,
Jesus is near, taking up my plight.
When I walk thru’ darkness, He lights my way,
For He is my “Light”, for now, and alway.
I am never alone, when trials are great,
He is there to give grace; never to frustrate.
He really does know what we go thru’,
He loves us, He will come to our rescue.
I am never alone, when hate is there,
Hate is all around; hate is ev’ry where!
They hated Him, when He walked the land,
He knows how we feel, He will take our hand!
I am never alone, as I run my race,
He gives me His strength; He give me grace.
There is nothing more that I might ask,
He’s always there, in my every task.
I am never alone, ev’n when I die,
I’m certain He’s near; this I won’t deny.
My angels will carry me to my Home,
To be with God for e’er, ne’er more to roam!

I AM RICH!
Am I poor? how could I ever be?
For Christ Jesus, my KING, takes care of me!
I commit myself to His vast pow’r,
By it I am kept, hour after hour!
Am I worthy? never on my own!
Yet His endless love to me is shown!
I place myself ‘neath His wondrous Flood,
Then I’m worthy, by His precious Blood!
I am rich! with Jesus joint-heir!
He died on the Cross, my sins to bear!
He paid the debt I could not pay,
That I might live in His Home some day!
I am thankful! Jesus I praise!
Glory and honor, to Him I raise!
To my dear Saviour, I’ll shout and sing,
For all the blessings He does bring!

I BELIEVE
In God the Father I do believe,
His Almighty majesty, I perceive.
Ev’rything that was made, He did make,
It came into being when He spake.
I believe in Christ our Lord, God’s Son,
Who was with God ‘fore the world begun.
Conceived by the Holy Ghost on High,
Born of a virgin, I can’t deny.
He suffered more than one man need,
Was crucified, died, and was buried.
Descended to Hades, the place of death,
Arose the third day; for God gave Him breath.
RESURRECTED! He was seen by many,
For over death, He had victory!
OUR LORD IS ALIVE! He is NOT dead!
For this reason, I can look ahead!
Christ ascended back to Heaven’s land,
Now sits on the Throne, at God’s right hand.
He will judge ALL who ever did live,
He’s righteous; the right verdict He’ll give.
I believe one day that I shall dwell,
In beautiful Heaven; NOT in Hell!
I believe He will resurrect me,
To live with Him for eternity!

I Believe
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Who created the Earth, and Heavens so lofty.
I believe in Christ Jesus, His only Son,
Who was with His Father, ‘for all this begun.
I believe by the Holy Ghost, He was conceived,
And that life from a young virgin, He received.
I believe His own people, condemned Him to die,
As the high priests yelled, crucify, crucify.
In the Garden, Christ had mental agony,
Then the Romans soldiers, beat Him heartlessly.
His strength was gone, His friends did not seem to care,
The whip cut so deep, His bones looked at Him to stare.
But He did not back away, nor lose control,
Because salvation of our souls, was His goal.
What He did on the cross, we all must believe,
Or the gaping jaws Hell, we would receive.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, which Jesus to us does give,
The Spirit and His fruits, that help us to live.
I believe that He leads us, guides us and directs,
And He is with us always, as He protects.
In the Holy Gospel of Christ, I believe,
It teaches how eternal life, we can receive.
It tells that Christ is Truth, Life and only Way.
If we ever want, to see Heaven some day.

I CANNOT KNOW
I cannot know what lies ahead,
I do not know if it’s joy or dread.
As this life I travel each new day,
I do know this; He will show the way!
I cannot know ‘bout tomorrow’s path,
I do not know what God’s storehouse hath.
I cannot see beyond this hour,
But I do know this; He will empower!
I cannot know what may befall,
I do not know if trials be big or small.
I cannot see the road, if steep or straight,
But I do know this; I’ll see Heav’n’s gate!
I cannot know what waits in store,
I do not know if tests be less or more.
I cannot see what things will come near,
But I do know this; I have no fear!

I cannot see God’s pure perfect mind,

I do know when Christ comes in the clouds,
With the trump of God; sounding so loud,
My name He will call, so loud and clear,
I’m going to Heav’n; I have no fear.

I Cannot Understand . . . August 2015 Message
I cannot understand, eternity,
Its endlessness, is a mystery.
Life in blissful Heav’n, life without end,
This awesome Truth, I can’t comprehend.
No more death, sorrow, crying or pain,
Just the glory of Heav’n’s, wondrous refrain.
God shall wipe away from our eyes, all tears,
And I can’t comprehend, no fears.
A mystery, that we’ll inherit all things,
I simply can’t comprehend, God’s blessings.
God the Father’s children, are with Christ joint heirs,
The best life on Earth, with this can’t compare.
I won’t ever sin, in eternity,
My new body, like Christ’s, will be sin free.
There’ll be no sin in Heav’n, of any kind,
Life without sin on Earth, you’ll not find.
I can’t comprehend, on gold I’ll walk,
And with my loving Saviour, I will talk.
In this city of pure gold, I will be,
With God and His family, eternally.
Jesus loves me, this I know so well,
For He has paid, to keep me from Hell.
I can’t comprehend, my mansion above,
But He has promised it to me, with His love,
So many things, I can’t understand,
But I know I trust Him, I’ll take His Hand.
I believe His Promises, all so true,
And I do understand, He loves me and you!

I Can’t Comprehend
I can’t comprehend, Your love for me,
And how You set, my burd’ned soul free.
I can’t comprehend, Your amazing grace,
And how You assist, as I run my race.
I can’t comprehend, You made the world,

I can’t comprehend, Your awesome pow’r,
At Your beck and call, at any hour.
I can’t comprehend, Your forgiveness,
When I repent, You forgive and bless.
My vile sins, You remember no more,
Cast in the sea, won’t e’er come up on shore.
I can’t comprehend, You see my heart,
This urges me, from sin to depart.
I can’t comprehend, You know my thoughts,
I must beware, and think as I ought.
I can’t comprehend, all that You know,
You saw my ev’ry move, as I did grow.
I can’t comprehend, You’re watching me,
Knowing I was Yours, for eternity.
Eternity, I can’t comprehend,
A million years, and still no end!
I can’t comprehend, living in Heav’n,
This wondrous Gift, You’ve so freely giv’n.
I can’t comprehend, that golden street,
Where one day I’ll walk, and my friends meet.
I can’t comprehend, a mansion awaits,
When I walk thru’, those huge pearly gates.
I can’t comprehend, Jesus died for me,
He hung on that cross, in agony.
I can’t comprehend, He loved me so,
He saved me from all, of Hell’s sorrow.

All those ‘round the world, including me.
I can’t comprehend, I can’t understand,
But I know I’ll rise, to Your outstretch’d Hand.
How can You be here? and elsewhere too?
For all believers, this event will view.
I can’t understand, but I do believe,
That none of God’s children, will You leave.
Your shout shall be heard, both far and near,
Being left behind is not a fear.
You will catch us up, and take us away,
This shall be such an amazing day.
I can’t comprehend, yet I truly believe,
That all believers, You shall receive.
You shall take us all, to Heav’n above,
Where we all shall live, in Your glorious love.

I Can’t Comprehend
Our finite minds cannot comprehend,
How You have no beginning, or no end.
You are the Triune God of eternity,
We cannot understand, this mystery.
I can’t comprehend, how all things You know,
You watch the world, Your eyes go to and fro.
Before a thing begins, You know the end,
Yet on Your awesomeness, we can depend.
I can’t comprehend, Your Almighty pow’r,
‘Tis abundantly with You ev’ry hour.
Nothing is impossible for You,
Yet Your love stays, ever firm and true.
I can’t comprehend, Your wisdom so great,
That most in the world, underestimate.
Far beyond us, is finding out Your ways,
Yet You stoop to assist us, ev’ry day.
Your majestic Presence, I can’t comprehend,
And the fact that You call, true Christians “Friend.”
A mystery, that in me God abides,
And that “forever” there He’ll reside.
That this awesome God, e’vn considers me,
Is truly to me, a great mystery.
Our God’s character, I can’t comprehend,
But I’m eternally grateful, I’m His friend.

I CAN’T DO IT
I can’t do it alone Jesus, help I need,
Why is it so hard for me, Your Word to heed?
You promise to help, yet I get weak and sin,
Worsening my condition, from where I’d been.
The things that I want to do, never get done,
But what I don’t want to do, Satan has won!
This predicament goes on, day after day,
Why can’t I be strong, and go the right way?
I have no will power, to turn from my sin,
My strength turns to weakness; I’m back where I’d been!
The Spirit is with me, I know for a fact,
But others would not know, by the way I act!
I’m filled with the awesome power of God,
Yet why can’t I show it, in ways I do trod?
Without You Lord, there’s nothing I can do,
Why don’t I have faith enough, to turn to You?
I agonize over the way that I am,
But I am Your child, and I know You won’t damn!
I know I should change, start all over anew,
If not, my rewards in Heaven, will be few!
I have trusted Jesus to save my soul,
And I know that Heaven, surely is my goal.
I know at the Judgment, I’ll suffer much loss,
Please help me Jesus, as I kneel at Your cross.

I Can’t Go Along With . . .
It matters not what others think of me,
My concern is the God of eternity.
What I do may not, with others sit just right,
But I must do what is pleasing in His sight.
I can’t go along with, this wicked world,
With each new day, more evil is unfurled.
Each of us must stand, ‘fore the Judge one day,
And I want Him to send me, Heaven’s way!
I can’t go along with, the blasphemy,
Using God’s Name in vain, e’er so freely.
I will instead stand, so close to His Side,
And pray that His Spirit, always reside.
I can’t go along with, stealing and lies,
Those who are oppressed, have painful cries.
I’ll walk close to Him, and trust Him to lead,
And to His wise counsel, I’ll always heed.
I can’t go along with, immorality,
Sexual lust, gives Satan victory.
I must walk with Christ, in His Light instead,
That the agony of hell, I’ll never dread.
I can’t go along with, covetousness,
If I’m greedy and love money, God won’t bless.
I must store up my treasures, way up there,
Storing things here, won’t get me any where.
I must go along with, what God wants for me,
Or I’ll never see, life eternally.
What others think of me; it matters not,
For I’m God’s child, with Christ’s Blood, I was bought.

I CAN’T IMAGINE
I can’t imagine, how life will be,
In the heav’nly realm of eternity.
This blissful place, I can’t comprehend,
Where truth and justice, shall have no end.
Unspeakable, is this awesome place,
Where we’ll be privileg’d, to see Your Face.
Your glorious Presence, shall be so near,
We’ll never ever, have any fear.
I can’t imagine, how I will change,
My whole body, You will re-arrange.
No lusting of the flesh, any more,
All sin will be gone, on Heav’n’s shore.
No more hasty, hurtful words will I say,
Just loving, compassionate words, that day.
No more malice, not one evil deed,
No more coveting, no more greed.
I can’t imagine, what love shall flow,
In this grand place, all believers will know.
Your wondrous Home, will be our home too,
Where we will forever be with You.
In this world, we are just sojourners here,
Your welcom’d Coming, is drawing near.
You’ll take us to our mansion on high,
Lord, on You I know, I can rely.

I Can’t See Jesus Now
Even tho’ I can’t see Jesus now,
One day at His Feet, I’ll humbly bow.
He’ll be Lord of lords, and King of kings,
And He’ll be Ruler, of everything.
I can’t see Him now, but soon I will,
And all my hopes, He’ll abundantly fill.
He has promis’d, life eternally,
Where for e’er I’ll serve Him, faithfully.
I can’t see Him, but I know He’s near,
I feel His Presence, I have no fear.
One with Christ, is the majority,
Tho’ the whole world, be my enemy.
I can’t see Him, but His peace I feel,
The joy and contentment, is so real.
I am so grateful, that He abides,
Of my Saviour, I have such great pride.
I can’t see Him today, but it may be soon,
We know not when, morning, night or noon.
We must keep watch, and live for the Lord,
Disobedience, we can’t afford.
I live for the day, when Christ I shall see,
Then I’ll live with Him, eternally.
Then, every singly day, I’ll see Him,
In our glorious Home, that’s never dim.

I CAN’T SEE YOU
Today I can’t see You with my eyes,
But soon in the clouds, You’ll materialize.
My glad heart shall know You, instantly,
Because it knows You so intimately.
My soul with tremendous joy shall leap,
I’m so grateful that it, You safely keep.
Soon in the clouds, I shall hear You shout,
My ecstatic soul has not any doubt.
High in the clouds, one day You’ll come,
You shall take, all true believers home.
I look forward to that special day,
Let me keep watch, as I go my way.
I can’t see You now, but soon I will,
My heart with abundant joy does fill.
As I ponder, that day You’ll arrive,
Help me Lord, as thru’ this life I strive.
It might be today, or tomorrow,
It could be in a time, of joy or sorrow.
Let me keep watch, as I live for You,
Till that day I see You, e’er so true.
Help me Lord, so I don’t go astray,
Let me be vigilant, ev’ry day.
Morning, noon or night, soon You shall come,
To take us to our eternal Home.

I CAN’T UNDERSTAND . . . June 2002 Message
I cannot understand, the mystery,
Of this amazing God of eternity.
He had no beginning; nor has a end,
Yet this awesome Being, wants us for a friend!
I can’t understand, how He made the world,
He just simply spoke, and great things unfurl’d.
The light, the darkness, the sun, moon and stars,
The total universe, made by His pow’r!
I can’t understand, how or why He chose me,
Chose me long ago, in past eternity.
Before He made the world, He knew my name,
His child I would be; ‘twas His plan, His aim!
I can’t understand, why Christ had to die,
When I think of His suffering, I want to cry.
What actually happened, by God’s own Hand?
His death is a mystery, I don’t understand!
I can’t understand, about Heav’n above,
I simply can’t understand, God’s vast love.
I cannot picture that street of pure gold,
Nor the City’s beauty, God has foretold!
I can’t understand, ‘bout eternity,
And I can’t comprehend Hell’s agony.
But for certain, this one thing I know,
Just thru’ Christ, will God’s blessings be bestow’d!

I Can’t Understand
Lord, there are times I can’t understand,
The grace that comes from Your loving Hand.
When I think of what a sinner am I,
It seems that my pleas You should deny.
Lord, when I think of my wicked heart,
I can’t understand why You don’t depart.
When I think of all the sins I’ve done,
I realize I’ve sinn’d, ‘gainst God’s own Son.
Lord Jesus, I’m not worthy of Your love,
That You shed on me daily, from above.
And You are always there, You never leave,
Ev’n tho’ my wicked ways, Your Heart does grieve.
Precious Lord, why do You put up with me?
For I am so fill’d, with iniquity.
It seems that You should turn, and run away,
Far away from my hateful, wicked ways.
At times Lord, I can’t understand at all,
Why You pick me up, each time that I fall.
I want to please You, I want to do good,
But it seems I never, do as I should.
I’m truly grateful for Your wondrous love,
And I thank You always for my home above.
I do not deserve You, not ev’n a bit,
But You prove o’er and o’er, Your love won’t quit.
I thank You for all, that You’ve done for me,
I thank You for Your grace, that is so free.
I thank You for forgiveness ev’ry day,
Ev’n when my actions are a bad display.

I CHOOSE JESUS . . . Jan.2003 Message
In the millions of gods this world has known,
I choose You, Jesus, for my very own.
You’re most holy and absolute purity,
God of all ages, God of eternity.
I choose You Jesus, for my very own,
For Your Spirit abides, and I’m never alone.
You promise to never leave nor forsake,
And of Your grand love, I gladly partake.
Most Holy God, sinless, loving and just,
But my trust and obedience is a must.
I choose You Jesus, for You died for me,
I gladly accept You, for eternity.
As Saviour dear Jesus, You do I choose,
With You by my side, I simply can’t lose.
You’ve gone on ahead, my home to prepare,
Where I will forever, Your glory share.
Lord, I’m thankful that You first chose me,
And have given me life eternal so free.
It’s an awesome privilege, You call me “friend,”
And You’ll safely lead to my journey’s end.

I commit to You, my heart this day,
Totally, completely; all the way.
Dear Jesus, of You I humbly ask,
That You grant me strength, for ev’ry task.
This day, my mind, I commit to You,
I’ll not hold back; but to You be true.
Dear Lord, let me think only good things,
That You grant me each day, your blessings.
I commit to You this day, my soul,
I give to You, full and complete control.
I know You will watch out after me,
From this day forward, thru’ eternity.
I commit to You this day, my all,
I’m not afraid of what might befall.
Faith tells me, I can truly trust You,
And what You say, You will surely do!

I Confess
I confess Him, as the Creator,
Knowing the vast pow’r, He holds in store.
The Universe was made, by His Hands,
All the wide oceans, and all the lands.
I confess Him as Saviour, of mankind,
No other one anywhere, can you find.
Just Jesus, is the Messiah True,
My friend He can be, your Saviour too.
I confess Him as Redeemer, this day,
He paid the price, I could never pay.
I was bought with His precious Blood so pure,
And only with His strength, can I endure.
I confess Him as Lord, of my life,
With His right guidance, I have less strife.
And to Him as Lord, I do submit,
To Him my heart and life, I commit.
I confess Him as Master, always,
I’ll strive to serve Him, all my days.
His humble servant, I want to be,
From this day on, thru’ eternity.
I confess Him, as Almighty King,
Just Jesus, worldly peace can bring.
What a wonderful world, this will be,
O’ev all His enemies, He’ll have vict’ry.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life,
Just He can remove, eternal strife.
Confess Him this day, walk the small road,
Only then can you walk, to Heav’n’s abode.

I COULD HAVE, I SHOULD HAVE . . . July 1998 Message
Those in the grip of the devil’s hand,
Are not headed for God’s Glory Land.
And one future day they’ll moan and yell,
But ‘twill be too late, for they’re in Hell!
Memories they’ll have, and things they’ll say,
Won’t do any good, for God won’t sway!
“I could have, I should have taken heed,
Instead a Godless life I did lead.”
“I could have listened when I heard,
Yet I simply went on my own accord.”
Folks do their own thing, go their own way,
And it’s so sad; they’re the devil’s prey.
“I should have turned to Christ the Lord,
When a loved one brought me His Word.”
They’ll think back with bitter memories,
At all their lost opportunities!
“I could have, I should have gone God’s road,
For now, I would be in His Abode.”
These folks will realize when it’s too late,
Only Christ has the ‘key’ to Heaven’s gate!
“I should have humbly fallen to my knees,
Instead I’ll have eternal misery.
I’ll be tormented with eternal flame,
For I rejected Christ’s Holy Name.”

I Could Run . . . October 2015 Message
I could run, but I can ne’er hide from You,
You see where I am, and know what I do.
You know the thoughts of my mind, ev’ry one,
You know the end of things, ‘fore they’ve begun.
How could I hide anything from Thy sight?
With You the darkest night, is brilliant light.
When I try to hide, myself I deceive,
Your stern correction, is what I’ll receive.
Running from You O Lord, is foolishness,
When this fool runs from You, You will not bless.
What makes me think that I can outsmart You?
My actions are ne’er, hidden from Your view.
Why can’t I learn that I can’t run and hide?
But instead let You always, be my Guide.
Life wouldn’t be as hard, if I’d obey,
Change me from a fool to a wise man this day.
Continued wrong decisions, and wrong roads,
Will ne’er lead me to Heav’n’s blissful abode.
‘Twill simply bring down, God’s vengeful wrath,
As I try to hide, on that big, broad path.
Running from God, is of no use at all,
In the end, we’ll all hear, His judgment call.
God is so good, WHY do we run away?
When all He wants is to bless us each day.

When my soul leaves this shell of mortal clay,
And my body in the ground does decay,
As my soul abides in eternal rest,
Lord, I pray I can say: “I did my best.”
When my spirit goes to a better place,
And I finally meet Jesus -- Face to face,
When He asks me if I withstood the test,
Lord, I pray I can say: “I did my best.”
When I gratefully walk that golden road,
Near the “mansion” that awaits in Heav’n’s abode,

I DO NEED HIM
Whenever I feel my faith getting weak,
I turn to Jesus, and Him I do seek.
When bright things in my life start to get dim,
I don’t wait to call, for I do need Him!
Whenever I falter in my daily life,
I turn to Jesus, to be rid of my strife.
When I start to stumble, on Him I call,
For I do need Him each day, and for all.
Whenever I fear anything in my path,
I turn to Jesus, great mercy He hath!
Tho’ Satan shall buffet and cause me to fear,
That’s when I do need Him; and He’s always near!
Whenever I feel that the world is against me,
I turn to Jesus, no greater Friend can there be!
When friends and loved ones seem unfeeling and cold,
That’s when I do need Him, and He’ll never scold.
Whenever my strength does wane, and I get weak,
I turn to Jesus, He brings me back to my peak!
I know I can’t do anything on my own,
That’s when I do need Him, and the way is shown.
Whenever my heavy burdens do overcome,
I turn to Jesus, for I couldn’t get home.
He has never, ever, left nor forsaken me,
When I do need Him, He never does flee.
Whenever I call on Him, no matter what day,
He’s such a blessing, each time that I pray.
He’ll always answer, when on Him I call,
I really do need Him, ALWAYS, lest I should fall!

Yet blessings from You, ne’er cease to flow.
You are so good and upright ev’ry day,
Teaching us vile sinners, in the right way.
Lord, You are so good, and knoweth all things,

I don’t deserve, all Your tender mercies,
And Your forgiveness of my iniquities.
How manifold are all Thy mighty works,
Your wondrous blessings to us, You ne’er shirk.
I don’t deserve, the forgiveness You give,
My sins are wretched and wicked, as I live.
Your mercy is plenteous, when we call on Thee,
Your goodness is truly, a mystery.
I don’t deserve, Your astonishing grace,
And the hope of one day, seeing Your Face.
Your goodness and mercy shall follow me,
‘Til the day I meet You, for eternity.
Your goodness is there, for all who seek You,
For Your wondrous blessings always come thru’.
What love the Father has on us bestowed,
On all His children, His vast blessings flow.

I’D RATHER
I’d rather be God’s doorman, for eternity,
Than spend one horrid hour, in Hell’s dark agony.
I’d rather be a poor man, and be God’s friend,
Than be a rich man in Hell, where screaming ne’er ends.
I’d rather scrub the floors, in God’s mansion above,
Than enter Hell’s dark abyss, so vacant of love.
I’d rather serve my Master, what e’er His demands,
Than to be locked in Hell, ne’er to see Heaven’s land.
I’d rather cast ev’ry bit of pride away,
That I might be exalted, by my Lord some day.
I’d rather be humble, and enter Heaven’s gate,
Than wind up in Hell, and hear the words: “It’s too late.”
I’d rather walk this day, as Christ does bid me walk,
And have my heart bring forth right words, when I talk.
I’d rather please my Lord, and strive to obey,
Than to be condemned to Hell, for always.
I’d rather trust Jesus, God’s one and only Son,
Than believe Satan, who deceives most ev’ry one.
I’d rather walk by faith, trusting all the way,
Than anger my Lord, when I doubt and disobey.
I’d rather serve my Master, and be at His Feet,
Than be a rich man being served dainties so sweet.
I’d rather be in Heaven with my Lord so true,
Than be locked in Hell, with no pardon or rescue.

I’d Rather . . . March 2012 Message
I’d rather serve my Master, and be at His Feet,
Than be a rich man, being served dainties so sweet.
We all have decisions, in this life to decide,
Will we serve the Lord in Heaven? . . . or in Hell reside?
I’d rather be a poor man, and the Lord believe,
Than be a rich man, and the devil’s lies receive.
Many choices stand before us, as this life we live,
It depends what we choose, on what place the Lord gives.
I’d rather follow Jesus, on the path of light,
Than traipse after Satan, on broad roads black as night.
The Lord will guide us, on those narrow roads so strait,
To keep following Satan, you decide your own fate.
I’d rather love the Lord, and be the Father’s child,
Than to listen to Satan, and from Heaven be exiled.
When you choose the devil, and all his wicked ways,
You’ll spend eternity in Hell, all of your days,
I’d rather obey God, and always do His will,
Than allow Satan, worldly desires to instill.
There are only two places, in eternity,
The Lake of Fire, OR Heaven’s amazing beauty.
I’d rather be a fool, in this world’s evil eyes,
Than be an unbeliever, who my God denies.
Choosing another god, is the wrong way to go,
It will lead just to Hell, and eternal sorrow.
I’d rather go to Heaven, and live with the Lord,
Spending ev’n one hour in Hell, I cannot afford.
Lord, help me always to choose, Your will and right paths,
For I ne’er want to face, the judgment of Your wrath.

I FALL SHORT . . . Jan.1998 Message
Help me to be who you want me to be,
For I fall short and do displease thee.
Let your Spirit guide as I wake each morn.
In days of quiet, or troubling storms.
My faults are many, and oft’ I do sin,
I pray for strength this great battle to win.
It seems I keep trying to go astray,
May I submit completely to you this day.
So very often Lord, you I do fail,
I want to do well, but Satan prevails.
Lord, let me resist him that he may flee,
I know submission to you is the ‘key’.
Lord, on my own I am utterly weak,
I have no power, and you I must seek.
On your Holy Spirit I must depend,
You, O Lord, I do not want to offend.
I want to please you, help me obey,
Let me love and serve you ev’ry day.
Let me love with actions, not just words,
Grant love, mercy and kindness, like my Lord.

I FEEL HIS PRESENCE
I feel His Presence, each morn when I wake,
I think of His Promise, to ne'er forsake.
When I think of Christ, I think of His love,
That's when I send praises, to Him above.
I feel His nearness, as I start out my day,
Reading His Word, then on my knees to pray.
I thank Him for His guidance, and watch care,
As He watches o'er me, everywhere.
At noon when the sun, is high in the sky,
I know on His Presence, I can rely.
On Christ I can depend, a blessing indeed,
But on His Holy Word, I must pay heed.
Thru' the day, comes many troubles and woes,
But it's then, that His amazing grace flows.
He will ne'er give us, more than we can bear,
His loving Presence, shows us that He cares.
As the sun begins to set, in the west,
I thank Him for help, with my ev'ry test.
His Promise, to ne'er leave me, ne'er forsake,
What better Promise, could He ever make?
I now thank Him, as by my bed I kneel,
Grateful for His Presence, is how I feel.
I'm just not worthy, of His awesome love,
Yet He says I have, a mansion above.
His Presence is near, twenty-four-seven,
The wonderful part, He'll take us to Heav'n.
One day we'll meet Christ Jesus, Face to face,
And we can thank Him again, for His wondrous grace.

I FORGET . . . May 2000 Message
When things go well, I forget You’re even there,
Lord Jesus I forget, You’re a Friend who really cares!
But when life is topsey-turvey, and goes askew,
Then I remember, I should have faith in You!
I seem to forget You, on bright, cheery days,
Lord Jesus I forget, Your friendship guides my ways!
But when the day is dark, and dreary to the end,
It’s then I remember, You are a loyal Friend!
When my health is good, I forget about You,
Lord Jesus I forget, how much You really do!
But when I’m sick, and my body’s wracked with pain,
Then I remember, Your comfort is such great gain!
You, I forget, when many friends surround me,
Lord Jesus I forget, just You give serenity!
But when my friends leave, and I’m alone and blue,
Then I remember, You are a Friend so true!
I forget at times, this life on Earth will pass,
Lord I forget, we’re as the flow’r of the grass!
I must remember, only You have Heav’n’s key,
And only You dear Lord, give life eternally!

I HAVE OVERCOME . . . Mar. 1998 Message
I have overcome, by Jesus’ Blood,
That flow’d from the Cross, that precious Flood.
Praise be to my Saviour, true and pure,
Of eternal life, I am assured!
All believers overcome by faith,
Victory thru’ Jesus; no second death!
All who overcome, rewards receive,
Giv’n by God, because Him we believe.
Of the “tree of life” one day we’ll eat,
No one will hunger, ‘twill be so sweet.
From a pure river of water of life,
No one will thirst, no one will have strife.
Over comers will have robes of righteousness,
Just thru’ Christ do we have this success.
We must have these ‘robes’ to enter Heav’n,
Only thru’ Christ are these garments giv’n.
All those who overcome, Heav’n awaits,
Just Jesus has the key to Heav’n’s gate.
Only Jesus can get you inside,
Where for eternity you’ll abide.

I Have Promised . . . April 2010 Message
Many today are hungry, I too needed bread,
Forty days I tasted none, ‘til the angels fed.
Many today thirst, on the cross I was thirsty too,
I have promised to supply, all needs for you.
Does your path get weary, as you strive to serve me?
Oft too, I would tire, as I battled My enemies.
And I struggled and fell, ‘neath the cross’ heavy load,
I have promised to give rest, on your tiresome road.
Does the old devil, tempt you in enticing ways?
Does your faith waver, does doubt and fear plague your days?
Forty days and forty nights, he tempted Me too,
I have promised to make a way, of escape for you.
Do tears of pain and sadness, often come your way?
I too wept many tears of sadness in my days.
I had tears for Jerusalem, and Lazarus too,
I have promised comfort, when weeping comes to you.
Do those that you love and trust, turn and walk away?
Do those you love, love not in return, but betray?
I too felt abandoned, heartsick and lonely too,
I have promised, I’ll never leave or forsake you.
Do you get discouraged, in your service to Me?
Does it seem no one will listen, to your frantic plea?
Most think of worldly things, and are greedy of gain,
I have promised, all done for Me, is never in vain.
Do they persecute you, do you suffer for Me?
Persevere in your faith, and live righteously.
I too was persecuted, I suffered for you,
I have promised, in your trouble, I will rescue.

I HEARD JESUS KNOCK . . . June 2007 Message
So many times, I heard Jesus knock,
But with each visit, His entrance I’d block.
My eyes were open, but I could not see,
I just never thought, ‘bout eternity.
Christ would knock, I’d pretend not to hear,
But I’d feel His Presence, e’er so near.
I had a heart, but it was hard and cold,
My mind was fill’d, with worldly visions untold.
When Jesus would knock, I’d turn away,
Thinking I’d hide, and stay out of His way.
I had ears, but they simply would not hear,
Of an eternal Hell, I had no fear.
But one sweet day, my eyes opened wide,
I then understood, Christ wanted to abide.
I opened the door of my heart that day,
Opened it wide, opened it all the way!
He then gave me a new, tender, soft heart,
And from my old ways, I wanted to depart.
Christ will never have to knock any more,
Wide open to Jesus, is my heart’s door.
Now I have ears that listen so well,
I decided I want no part of Hell.
I have no fear at all, of my destiny,
I know Heav’n will be my Home, eternally.
Lord, I thank You, for not giving up on me,
I praise You Lord, for Your gracious mercy.
I thank You Lord, that You continued to knock,
I’m so grateful, I’m now one of Your flock.

I HUMBLY ACCEPT
Dear Lord, Your love I humbly accept,
For I know my soul, You will protect.
I will be grateful, for eternity,
That You sav’d a sinner, such as me.
I humbly accept, salvation You give,
There’s no greater Gift, in this life I live.
E’er so thankful, and always will be,
As I continue on my life’s journey.
I humbly accept, Your sufficient grace,
And Your assistance, as I run my race.
To You be the glory, in all things,
As You continue, vast blessings to bring.
I humbly accept, Your mercy too,
As I try to walk, the path with You.
I’m thanking You, for compassion divine,
And I thank You too, that You are mine.
I humbly accept, Your forgiveness,
When I repent, and my sins I confess.
I humbly thank You, for cleansing me,
And making me ready, for eternity.
I’ll humbly accept, my mansion one day,
And I thank You, for showing me the way.
Your love, Your mercy, Your amazing grace,
Make it possible, that I’ll see Your Face.
Father, I humbly accept, all You’ve done,
And accept all, in the Name of Your Son.
Such precious blessings, beyond compare,
I thank You that one day, I’ll be with You there.

I KNOW
No matter where I go,
No matter what I do,
Ev’n in my greatest sorrow,
I know I can count on You.
Tho’ my friends forsake me,
Tho’ I am down and blue,
Ev’n tho’ I’m in mis’ry,
I know You’ll see me thru’.
I know I may have pain,
I know I may have sorrow,
Ev’n tho’ my spirits wane,
I know thru’ You, blessings flow.
At times I may be depress’d,
At times I may feel sad,
Ev’n tho’ I don’t feel my best,
I know comfort can be had.
No matter how grim my plight,
No matter if I fall,
Ev’n tho’ days seem dark as night,
I know You’ll hear my call.
Trusting You is part of me,
Trusting You, is what I do,
Ev’n tho’ I have agony,
I know I can count on You.
Lord, why do I trust Thee?
Why do I trust Thee so?
The reasons are many,
As to You each time I go.
Comfort I receive from You,
And mercy at Your Hand,
You lift me up with love so true,
You bless me with love so grand.

I KNOW
I know I fall short, and often stumble,
And I know I should be more humble.
I know many times, You I displease,
And walk away, when a burden I could ease.
I know hasty words, I should not say,
And at times, I willingly disobey.
At times, I have a hateful attitude,
And at times I know, I’m very rude.
Things I should do, ne’er seem to get done,
And my Christian race, is not well run.
Evil thoughts at times, enter my mind,
I know to all wrong, I should be blind.
To my neighbor, I oft times do wrong,
Temptation around me, is so strong.
I know I should love everyone,
I know I should imitate God’s own Son.
I know I should be strong, instead I’m weak,
And I know at these times, You I should seek.
Why do I do things I should not do?
I really don’t want, to anger You.
I know I love You, but this I don’t show,
And it brings to my heart, great sorrow.
I truly do love You, and will always,
Dear Lord Jesus, please help me obey.

O Lord, I rest in the joy of what Thou art,
Thy love so comforting, satisfies my heart!
With You I can live, above the dread of fear,
For I know what e’er happens, You are near!
If I set my affections on things above,
I know You will bless me with Thy awesome love.
Let me feel the contentment of Thy grace,
For I know You forgive me; and my sine erase!
O Lord, I rest in the peace You’ve giv’n me,
This noble peace deep within, sets my soul free!
With You I can live, without worry or doubt,
For I know with Your help, I can cast them out!
If I walk by faith, and not by my sight,
I know You will bless me, and guide with Your Light!
Let me feel Thy Presence, ever so near,
For I know You won’t leave, so I have no fear!

I Know
I know one day, I’ll go to Heaven,
That Promise to me, is clearly given.
I Know I’ll see Jesus, Face to face,
When I arrive, in that awesome Place!
I know for now, I must trust and obey,
As I walk with Jesus, ev’ry day.
The practice of sin, is not for me,
For I dearly want, life eternally.
I know that Jesus, is the only Way,
That anyone can get, to Heaven one day.
I know that millions, think that’s not so,
But the Bible says, to Hell they’ll go.
I know the Promise, a mansion above,
Prepared for us, with God’s own love.
Our inheritance, reserved for us,
Incorruptible, pure and precious!
I know Almighty God, cannot lie,
Eternal life is ours, in the by and by.
This wondrous hope, we look forward to,
The beauty of Heaven, one day we’ll view.
I know that the Bible, we must believe,
Or the wrath of God, we will receive.
We have life, just thru’ own Son,
When we believe, that life has begun!
Calling Him “Father,” He does permit,
If to Christ Jesus, we do submit.
I know just Jesus, can justify,
When by faith in Him, we do rely!
I know just thru’ Jesus, can we have peace,
From the bond of Satan, we have release.
I know just Jesus, can give peace of mind,
Just with Jesus, will Heaven’s gate you find.

I KNOW SOMEONE
I do not know what tomorrow brings,
It may be joy; or sad, troubling things.
The roads of life may be rough and steep,
But I know Someone who can surely keep.
I do not know; nor can I explain,
Why our life may bring sunshine or rain.
Trials and troubles may come this day,
But I know Someone who can show the way.
I do not know what e’er shall befall,
Our great Creator will make the call.
Sorrow and pain could well be in stride,
But I know Someone who will abide.
I do not know what lies out ahead,
It may be happiness; it might be dread.
We must not question our mighty Lord,
For I know Someone who’ll keep His Word.
I do not know what does remain,
Will I suffer loss? or be giv’n gain?
Will my works be burned? or will they stand?
Yet I know Someone who’ll take my hand.

I know He loves me, and truly does care,
And is with me always, everywhere.
No mortal could e’er be such a friend.
He’ll be with me to my journey’s end.
I know He will never leave or forsake,
And He’ll stand by me, in my mistakes.
It’s such a comfort to know He’s near,
As He whispers to me “You need not fear.”
I know He loves me, for He cannot lie,
On His strength and wisdom, I can rely.
He forgives me when my sin I confess,
With His faithfulness, He does bless.
His grace is sufficient, for me always,
No matter the trouble of my days.
Pain or sickness, or deepest sorrow,
His love makes me see, a brighter tomorrow.
As I consider His great love for me,
He’ll be with me, thru’ eternity.
He prepares for me, a wondrous place,
And one day soon, I will see His Face.
As He sits on the Father’s right Hand,
He has power to control all the land.

I LOOK TO THE DAY
Lord, one day soon, I'll meet you Face to face,
As I view the beauty, of that heav'n'ly place.
Lord, that's all the glory, I'll ever need,
Loving You first and always, is my creed.
Let me serve You, till it's my time to go,
Death to me, is not a worry or woe.
Absent from the body, present with You,
I claim this Promise, for I know 'tis true.
You are preparing, a "mansion" for me,
That I may live wih You, eternally.
Reserv'd for me, Your Holy Book does say,
Thank You Jesus, for showing me the way.
I look to the day, when I sin no more,
And I walk on that wondrous, heav'n'ly shore.
If I have rewards, I'll give them to You,
For I am so grateful, I'm one of the "few."
Me, without sin, it's hard to believe,
But it's true, when new bodies we receive.
We'll walk with Him in white, in Glory Land,
Walking on that street of gold, Hand in hand.
We must love and trust Christ, and Him profess,
Or our name in Heav'n, He will not confess.
In the Lamb's Book of Life, our name must be,
Or we in Hell, will spend eternity.
Each of us have, a certain number of years,
And with each hour, our time to go draws near.
One day, Face to face with Jesus you'll stand,
Are you with the goats, or on Christ's right hand?

I look to the day, when I sin no more,
That wondrous day when I access, Heav’n’s shore!
Help me stay away, from Satan’s crowd,
I want to be one of whom, You can be proud.
Help me to be, who You want me to be,
As I journey on, to eternity.
I absolutely, do not desire,
To ever wind up, in the lake of fire!
Help me always to love others, not to hate,
I want to be like Christ Jesus, first rate!
I look to the day, when I sin no more,
I want to be with Christ, on Heav’n’s shore!
Please for my enemies, help me to pray,
Just as my dear Saviour did, in His day.
With fruit of Your Spirit, fill me dear Lord,
And give me wisdom, from Your Holy Word!
This mortal, shall put on immortality,
Death shall be swallowed up, in victory!
My vile body shall be, like His glorious One,
That glorious Body, of God’s own Son!
I can’t imagine, no more sin for me,
And that will be sure, for eternity!
I’ll have a body like Christ, I will change,
No more sin ever, He does re-arrange!
When Christ, Who is our life, shall appear,
Life on Earth shall be gone, with all its fears.
Then we shall appear with Him, in Glory,
In the bliss of Heav’n, for eternity!

THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD THE FATHER, WHO IS IN HEAVEN!!!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV) Only JESUS can save your soul! Please believe this!
1 Cor. 15:50-54 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (KJV)
Phil. 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (KJV)
Col. 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (KJV)
I Love Jesus . . . Feb.2009 Message
I love Jesus, for what He’s done for me,
Keeping me from, eternal agony.
I love Jesus, for He died in my stead,
Paid my penalty, now I have no dread.
I love Jesus, because He first loved me,
Only He, could set my burd’ned soul free.
I love Jesus, for He does justify,
So I won’t ever, eternally die.
I love Jesus, for He keeps me on the path,
That keeps me from, God’s Holy, righteous wrath.
I love Jesus, and follow in His Light,
For He’s always there, in my ev’ry plight.
I love Jesus, He gives me joy and peace,
And of strife and worry, He gives me release.
I love Jesus, He won’t forsake or leave,
With His Presence near, I need never grieve.
I love Jesus, He bought me with His Blood,
Washed me white as snow, with that precious Flood.
I love Jesus, for He really loves me,
I look forward, to life eternally.
I love Jesus, for He prepares a place,
‘Twill be ready, when I finish my race.
An inheritance, pure and undefil’d,
I love Jesus, for He makes me God’s child.
I love Jesus, for His Spirit abides,
Assisting me daily, as He resides.
I love Jesus, and I appreciate,
My precious Saviour, majestic and great.

I MUST
On the strait and narrow path, I must stay,
And my precious Lord, I must obey.
I must have close fellowship with Him,
Or my chance of Heav’n, is very dim.
I must consider, how others feel,
I must serve Jesus, with love and zeal.
Faith in my Saviour, must persevere,
If I am to feel, His Presence near.
I’ll stray from the narrow path, I know,
But with wisdom from Christ, back I’ll go!
Satan will tempt me, day after day,
I must trust Christ Jesus, all the way.
I must stay on that strait, narrow path,
If I am to avoid, the Father’s wrath.
I must stay away, from the broad road,
That leads to Satan’s fiery abode.
Most of the world, to the broad road flock,
But to them, the gates of Heav’n are lock’d.
The lone gate of Hell, will let them in,
For the God of wrath, condemns their sin.
Unbelief is a terrible thing,
Satan blinds the eyes, to God’s blessings.
Making folks think, the broad road is right,
Blindness keeps them off, the path of light.
Help me Lord, to stay on the narrow road,
That leads me to my eternal Home.
I must stay close to You, I must obey
I know dear Jesus, there’s no other way.

I MUST BEWARE
I didn’t like words, that to me were said,
But, at times words I say, cause You dread.
I must not judge others, I must judge me,
Help me to see that I’m far from sin-free.
Lord, at times I don’t like things that are done,
They cause me much grief, and are no fun.
But judging others is not, for me to do,
I must let that in Your Hands, it’s up to You.
Some times for no reason my anger flares,
I can’t judge other’s anger, I must beware.
I must always be careful, I must judge me,
From all the wrongs that I do, I must flee.
I can’t remove the speck in someone’s eye,
If the log in my eye, I flatly deny.
I must beware of actions that I do,
If I want to be a follower of You.
So quick am I, to judge other’s bad ways,
I must think of me, and what I portray.
Perhaps You see my sin, far worse than theirs,
I must consider this, I must beware.

I MUST HONOR YOU MORE
Father, I tend to minimize your majesty,
For I cannot comprehend Your purity.
Nor can I imagine Your wondrous compassion,
How You make me Your child and give me salvation.
Bringing You to my level, it seems I try to do,
Lord, let me remember, the awesomeness of You.
No one can compare, with the God of eternity,
Lord God, I want to be Your friend, not Your enemy.
Heavenly Father, I don’t fear You as I should,
I must reverence Your Presence, this must be understood.
Dear Lord I’m too casual, with how I feel about You,
Lord teach me to have more respect each day anew.
Most gracious Heavenly Father, I must love You more,
With ALL my heart, mind, soul and strength; You I must adore.
Lord, I fall short and Your commands I do not obey,
Help me Lord to love You, more and more each day.

I Must Judge Me
First and foremost, I must judge me,
As I walk on, to eternity.
Difficult paths, rugged and steep,
But a sense of right, is what I must keep.
Judging other’s hearts, I must not do,
“Judge not” Jesus tells me, words so true.
If I judge, I’ll be judged the same way,
And this I don’t want, on Judgment Day.
If I judge others, I condemn me,
For I may do the same, as my enemy.
To judge others, no excuse have I,
My actions, Christ will not justify.
What will I say, at the Judgment Seat?
When Judge Jesus, I finally meet?
‘Twill be just me, and me alone,
All I have e’er done, will be known.
Have you e’er consider’d these things?
What will you friend, to this court bring?
We’ll be judged, by what we do and say,
How we treat those, along life’s way.
As I walk on, to eternity,
I must consider, judging me.
Judging others, I must forget,
When I judge self, I’ll have no regrets.

1 Cor. 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. (KJV)
On Judgment Day, each person will stand before God and will be found “guilty” OR “innocent” based upon his or her rejection or acceptance of Jesus Christ (Mat.25:32,41,46; Heb.9:27; Rev. 20:12). Believe it!
I MUST MOURN
From all my sin, my heart is heavy,
Dear Lord, forgive my iniquity.
Repentance is something I must feel,
And Lord, I know, it must be real!
Jesus said I must mourn of my sin,
Turn to the Lord, rend your heart, within.
If we harden our heart, we can’t please God,
We must fear the Lord, where e’er we trod.
Our sin we must not try to justify,
Sin is wicked, sin God does despise.
We must admit we’re wrong, and God is right,
We must repent, with a heart, contrite.

I MUST REMEMBER
I must remember to always love,
For it’s a command, from God above.
Love God with all my heart, soul and mind,
For this kind of fellowship truly binds.
I must remember to love always,
My brothers and sisters, all my days.
Care, compassion and sincere concern,
We become wise, as this we do learn.
I must remember to forgive completely,
Keep no record of wrongs, set the free.
Forgive, as you want God to forgive you,
Total and complete, all the way thru’.
I must remember to always obey
My beloved Lord, day after day.
Joy and peace, my obedience brings,
Contentment too, and life everlasting.
I must remember what lies ahead,
Eternal bliss; no more pain or dread.
I must focus on the God of love,
To have my mansion, in Heav’n above.

I MUST REPENT
I must repent Lord, of all my sins,
Or Your good pleasure I will not win.
I must repent to commune with You,
For Thou art God, just, pure and true.
I must repent of all wrongs I’ve done,
That I may walk with God’s begotten Son.
I must repent or God will hide His Face,
And none of my sins will He erase.
I must repent to have Your Presence near,
‘Tis the only way, my voice You will hear.
I must repent Lord, to know Your love,
Or e’er hope to go to Heaven above.
I must repent Lord, and be sincere,
Or none of my pray’rs will You e’er hear.
I must repent to have peace within,
I must truly mourn for all my sin.
I must repent, and walk close to You,
To have Your comfort each day anew.
I must repent, if You I want to know,
And receive blessings instead of sorrow.

I MUST SERVE HIM
As a deer pants after cool water clear,
So I pant for God, wanting Him near.
My soul thirsteth for the Living God,
No matter what I do, or where I trod.
Oft’ times I weep, enduring ridicule,
E’vn loved ones, to the fire, add fuel.
My need for God, most can’t understand,
I want to be close to Him, take His hand.
My soul longs for God, at night or day,
Like dry thirsty land, with rain far away.
For wisdom, my heart to God does cry,
His precious Word, I don’t want to deny.
At my Saviour’s feet I need to be,
Like the sister of Martha; ‘Mary’.
I must feel His love and hear His Word,
I must show to Him, He is adored.
My Lord did promise I’ll never thirst,
But I must love Him. and put Him FIRST!
If I hunger after righteousness,
He promised to fill, and to bless.
I MUST love God the way that I do,
Learning, and serving, and always true.
Straight from my heart, I must do God’s will,
This, my God, in my soul did instill.

I NEED ---
Lord, I need to know more about you,
Lord, I hunger for your love so true.
I need to know more of your pure grace,
Lord, I long to see your precious Face.
I need to feel your presence so near,
For then my troubles seem to disappear.
I need to feel your loving kindness,
Your mercy and compassion, as you bless.
I need about Jesus, more to learn,
Let your Spirit teach me to discern.
More ‘bout your kingdom, I need to know,
As I try to walk the strait and narrow.
Lord, I need to serve you more each day,
I need your Spirit to show the way.
More loving and caring I must be,
O Lord, how I need you, constantly!

I NEED
I need nourishment from Christ, the Vine,
What a joy to know, that it is mine!
Without food from Him, I’d surely die,
This fact, I won’t ever deny!
I must receive comfort from my Lord,
From the abundance He has stored.
Lack of His comfort brings great sorrow,
But His awesome comfort makes me glow!
O how I need His encouragement,
And His nearness is all sufficient.
When I’m down, He revitalizes me,
For He is present, continually!
I truly need His almighty pow’r,
And He’s there for me, at any hour!
With His great strength, I can do all things,
I’m so thankful, for all His blessings!
Of His superb love, I’m so in need,
And it is abounding, I need not plead.
So warm inside, His love makes me feel,
This marvelous love, He does reveal!
I truly need His amazing grace,
‘Tis always there; any time, any place!
Because of His grace, He forgives me,
And that same grace brings life, eternally!
Christ does promise to fill all my needs,
And He promises my prayers to heed.
So awesome and amazing is my Lord,
Always blessing with spiritual rewards.

I NEED HIM!
Without Christ, I have no pow’r at all,
In ev’ry hour, on Him I must call.
O’ how I need, His strength ev’ry day,
And His guidance, to show me the way!
I need Him, when temptation sets in,
His pow’r alone, can keep me from sin.
Satan comes at me, from ev’ry angle,
Christ makes me strong, when with him I tangle!
I need Christ Jesus, when pain appears,
Comfort is there, when His Presence is near.
The pain lessens, considerably,
When I feel His Presence, close to me!
Without Christ, the wrong roads, oft’ I take,
I need His help, right choices to make.
Always on paths of light, me, He leads,
I must love and honor Him, and pay heed!
Without Christ, ‘twould be the Lake of Fire,
WITH Christ, ‘tis Heav’n, which is my desire,
His Promise, a mansion that awaits,
And a glorious entrance, at Hean’n’s gate!
WITH Christ, we will spend eternity,
Taking in all, Heav’n’s glorious beauty,
A grand Saviour and Lord, we have indeed,
Heav’n is ours, if we trust Him and pay heed!

I NEVER THOUGHT
You never seemed important to me,
As I lived my life, so sinfully.
I stayed on the road, to wickedness,
And not once did I, my sins confess.
I never thought of the horrors of Hell,
I never thought, that there I might dwell.
I never once thought of my evil ways,
Instead it was “me, me” ev’ry day.
Lord Jesus, I never once thought ‘bout You,
Never once thought, that You were always true.
Never once thought ‘bout Your awesome love for me,
And I never thought, ‘bout eternity.
Strange how one day, my eyes open’d wide,
Strange, I then wanted You, to come inside!
God works in strange and mysterious ways,
Now, I think of Christ Jesus, ev’ry day!
Now Jesus is so, important to me,
As I try to live life, victoriously.
I now travel on the small, narrow road,
The one that leads to my heav’nly abode.
I always think of Jesus’ love so great,
Love so awesome, I can’t calculate.
I now think of my “mansion” on high,
For I know that on Jesus, I can rely.

I PRAY DEAR JESUS
I pray dear Jesus, that I could break,
The wall that hate and bigotry make.
Lord, let me as Your disciple be,
Teach me love, forgiveness and mercy.
I love Your dear Words, so wise and sweet,
May I follow the footprints of Your feet.
Lord, help me Your righteous path to trace,
For I long one day to see Your Face.
Dear Lord, I love Your wise guiding light,
For darkness flees, making my path bright.
Dear Lord, help me guide lost souls Your way,
As I try to imitate You this day.
I pray dear Jesus, That I could be,
Wise, loving and merciful, like Thee.
Lord, Help me reach lost souls around,
Let Your awesome love thru’ me abound.

I Realize
I realize, that death waits ahead,
Because of You Lord, I have no dread,
But before I opened, my heart’s door,
I was terrified of death, and much more.
I realize, death lies down the road,
But You promise, a heav’n’ly abode..
A great inheritance, waits for me,
Your grand gift, of life eternally.
I realize, when death comes my way,
‘Twill be a start, to a brand new day.
Absent from the body, present with the Lord,
A tremendous Promise, in Your Word.
Let me walk by faith, not by sight,
Keep me from that broad road, dark as night.
In the Holy Spirit, I must walk,
And stay away from Satan, as he stalks.
When Jesus in the clouds, does descend,
My life on Earth, would come to an end.
Be it death or the Rapture, I know not,
I do not want, off guard, to be caught.
When my time shall come, I do not know,
I must keep close, as Jesus I follow.
I look forward, to my mansion on high,
Reserv’d in Heav’n, my Lord won’t deny.

I RESOLVE . . . Jan.1997 Message
Lord, I resolve that I will come in prayer,
For all those in need, and for the lost to care.
Lord, I resolve that I will show more deep love,
For my fellow man, and for my Lord above.
Lord, I resolve to be shed of sinful pride,
To be more humble, and let you be my guide.
Lord, I resolve to take time to read your Word,
And then to apply it, and live in accord.
Lord, I resolve to more compassionate be,
To those with pain of the mind, or their body.
Lord, I resolve to be content and happy,
Lord, it’s a blessing, that Christ set me free.

I SAW A MAN
I had a dream, and it made me moan,
So deep within me, my soul did groan.
In this strange dream, diff’rent things took place,
And diff’rent expressions, on the man’s face.
I saw a man, as he read a Book,
Filthy rags he wore, I could not look.
As he read from the Book, tears did flow,
I could clearly see, great sorrow.
His frightful cry of “What can I do?”
His sincere agony, was in full view.
“Lord, I’m a sinner, I do confess,”
This man was in, dreadful stress.
Many tears did fall, as he did read,
It seemed the words, he wanted to heed.
The words he read, deeply touched his heart,
Then he cried “From sin I’ll depart.”
“Woe is me” the man in rags did cry,
“My Saviour and Lord, I did deny.
God’s judgment awaits the likes of me,
For He is God, of eternity.”
This man in rags, had a burden great,
‘Twas hard indeed, to estimate.
He trembled in horrible agony,
Friend, this man in rags, was none but me.
When I consider ways of my past,
I realize, into Hell I’d have been cast.
I praise God for making plain to me,
I need salvation, thru’ Christ’s victory.
