POEMS . . . H

Hard To Do

Shifting to Christ’s nature, is hard to do,
Because for so long, to the devil I was true.
Year after year, the wrong roads I’d follow,
Causing my Lord Jesus, so much sorrow.

Day after day, on the broad road I stay’d,
The character of Satan, I display’d.
I caused my dear Saviour, so much grief,
Because of my stubborn unbelief.

For so many years, I ridiculed the “few,”
Crucifying my Lord, each day anew.
The vast love of Jesus, I could not see,
But my precious Lord, ne’er gave up on me.

Changing my life, has been a hard row to hoe,
Temptations of old, pop up where e’er I go.
Without Jesus strength, I’d surely fall,
But with Him by my side, I can do it all.

I must remember, take it day by day,
For now I know, Christ will light up my way.
To be more like Him, I must really strive,
If in Heaven some day, I want to arrive.

HARNESS THE POWER . . . April 2002 Message

Harness the pow’r, of the Awesome One,
God’s one and only, begotten Son!
His pow’r can forgive all your sins,
By accepting Christ, you always win!

He is there, you can harness His pow’r,
Comfort and strength are yours; any hour!
When troubles or sorrows make you weak,
By trusting Christ, you summit the peak!

Pow’r of the Saviour, you can harness,
God the Father, you then can access!
Just the pow’r of His Blood, can justify,
On our precious Lord, you can rely!

Harness the pow’r, of Jesus our Lord,
His pow’r and grace, you can well afford!
Always sufficient, for me and you,
From God’s wondrous Son, loving and true!

Harness the pow’r, of Him who redeems,
If you desire Heav’n, He’ll fulfill your dreams!
He’s gone ahead, a “mansion” to prepare,
Where the bliss of His Home, with you He’ll share!

HAS JESUS PASSED BY . . . June 1997 Message

Has Jesus passed by your way today?
Did you notice? as you went your way?
Or were you too busy? doing your thing?
To take time to see the gift He did bring?

Did Jesus pass by? and you not see?
The wonderful gift, for you, so free.
Were you embarress’d to invite Him in?
Did you fear, your friends would mock and grin?

As you went on your merry old way.
Did you not see Jesus pass by today?
He just wants you to open the door,
He’ll give you the blessings He has in store.

Jesus won’t pass by, ‘less you reject,
His wondrous love, and gift so perfect.
Friend, please open the door of your heart,
He’ll not again pass by, nor depart.

“Am I going to Heaven” .... did you e’er doubt?
Satan will confuse you, make him get out!
For God’s precious Word does tell us we’re safe,
If we trust Jesus, we’re saved by His grace!

We’re saved thru’ the grace of Jesus, our Lord,
After hearing the Gospel, in His great Word.
Justified by grace; heirs of eternal life,
Children of God, in Heaven there’s no strife.

Christ is our ‘Shepherd’, gave His life for His sheep,
As He hung on the Cross, for us He did weep.
He died for all sinners, and when we do see,
He’ll take us to Heav’n, so with Him we can be!

All it takes for us to enter Heav’n’s gate,
Is accept Christ Jesus, ‘fore it’s too late.
God’s plan of salvation; ‘tis simple to do,
Trust Christ, ‘whosoever’, no matter who!

What is born of God, overcomes the world,
Victory in Christ, no matter what Satan hurls.
If we believe that Jesus is God’s own Son,
Eternal life for us, has just begun!

Have You E’er Thought About Hell?

Have you ever, really thought about Hell?
This place, where one day, millions shall dwell?
We should be burden’d, by this horrid place,
Where no one will e’er see, God’s gracious Face!

Have you e’er really thought, about Hell’s fires?
Eternal fires, that will never expire?
Have you e’er thought, these fires have been prepar’d?
For the devil, and all who his evils share?

Have you ever wondered, where can hell be?
This prepared place, for all eternity?
The center of the Earth, is what some think,
Where e’er it is, there’s no water to drink!

Have you e’er thought, about the darkness of Hell?
Deep, scary blackness, where evil ones dwell?
Have you e;er thought, that black too was prepar’d?
And will by all who God condemns, be shar’d?

Have you e’er thought, to Hell I don’t want to go?
This everlasting place, far, far below?
Move off that broad road, to the narrow path,
This will remove you, from God’s holy wrath!

That narrow path of light, will to Heav’n lead!
If to God’s Word, you will only pay heed!
To Heav’n or Hell, just two places to go,
Heav’n’s bliss, or Hell’s eternal sorrow!

My personal thoughts about Hell

We made a trip to Yellowstone a while back. Beautiful country up there! We never did get to see Old Faithful, because the roads were all tore up, being repaired, and neither of us are capable of walking.
There were hot springs everywhere. I want to comment on one thing that we saw . . . that being the boiling water in several places. I took pictures. It actually was scary to say the least! I was amazed. It certainly made us think! That hot water had to come from heat beneath the Earth, a volcano! I searched to find out more on volcanoes. There are volcanoes in every part of the Earth!
Now, considering this fact . . . consider just how many hot springs there are in the world, and then consider how many volcanoes there are all over the world.
What I am trying to get across to you is just how many hot springs and volcanoes there are all over the world. Where are they? Beneath the ground, in the center of the Earth. So . . . what does it look like down there? I would want to say that God tells us in every Passage in the Bible that speaks of Hell and the lake of fire! It is only common sense to think that Hell is in the center of the Earth. And thinking how large the Earth is, it is only common sense to think that Hell will indeed be large enough to house all the wicked of the world.  (Isa.5:14; 14:9; 30:33; Pro.27:20; Eze.32:21; Hab.2:5; Mat.7:13; Rev.20:13-15).

EVERLASTING FIRE. Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: [KJV] Jesus' Words.
EVERLASTING BURNINGS. Isaiah 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? [KJV]
A FURNACE OF FIRE. Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.[KJV] Jesus' Words.
OUTER DARKNESS. Matthew 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.[KJV] Jesus' Words.
Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.[KJV] Jesus' Words.
SO . . . how do we reconcile these two things? In reality fire and darkness are opposites! In my mind, they can be reconciled! When we consider just how large this Earth is, and when we consider the center of the Earth, it too is massive. It seems to me that there are many, many  caves down there just as there are here on the Earth, and they would indeed be dark, just like the caves here. Anyone who has ever been in a cave, knows just how dark they can be. There is not a bit of light, it is pitch dark, black as can be! On the other hand, there are fires everywhere else down there from the volcanoes.  When I think of Hell, this is what comes to my mind.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Have you look’d today, for His lost sheep?
Down in the valley, or the mountain steep?
Have you look’d for him in places wild?
God desires this lost one, for His child!

Have you look’d for the lost, wand’ring stray?
On the dangerously dark, lonely highway?
Have you look’d in the hustling, bustling city?
God really wants us to show some pity.

Have you look’d close by; in your neighborhood?
Do you honestly care, as you should?
The lost sheep of Jesus are ev’rywhere,
It’s His deep desire that you truly care!

Have you look’d closer still; in your family?
Perhaps you can change that lost sheep’s destiny!
“Go ye therefore,” are words Christ speaks to you,
We must look for the lost ones, chosen and few!

HAVE YOU THANKED HIM? . . . November 2011 Monthly Message

Do you appreciate, all He has done?
Have you thanked Him, in the Name of His Son?
Do you offer, the sacrifice of praise?
The fruit of your lips, to Him do you raise?

Have you thanked Him, for love He sheds on you?
Vast divine love, from our God, great and true!
He sent His Son to save us, this God of Love,
Send your praise to Him, in Heav’n high above.

How many times, has He forgiv’n you?
Have you thanked Him? Is that too much to do?
He casts our sins, to the bottom of the sea,
Because of Christ, He forgives you and me!

Have you considered, His amazing grace?
Have you thanked him, as you run your daily race?
The grace of God alone, is what saves your soul,
Have you o’er your life, given Him control?

Have you thanked Him, for life eternally?
Have you thanked Him, for hearing your every plea?
Do you consider, our God’s awesomeness?
Thank Him friend, as He continues to bless.

He arose from the grave; He arose!
Can you imagine? can you suppose?
No way could death ever hold Him there,
He rose from that grave, are you aware?

He arose from the grave; He’s alive!
He rose from that grave; He did revive!
The pow’r of death could not hold Him there,
Not one any where, can ev’n compare!

For our many dark sins, He did die,
The cries of His own were “Crucify.”
To justify us He rose again,
That we might live; have eternal gain.

He rose from the grave; are you aware?
He rose; for death could not hold Him there.
Christ is now sitting at God’s right Hand,
To grant victory to ev’ry land.

Sufficient to His children is God’s grace,
No matter what our trouble, or the place.
His pow’r and His wisdom will see us thru’,
He blesses us daily, both me and you.

Abundant is God’s grace to one and all,
A never ending supply, when we call.
His love for His children will never cease,
He blesses us daily, with inward peace.

Merciful is God’s grace to those who obey,
Tho’ we stumble many times in our day.
He cares for us even tho’ we are weak,
He blesses us daily, if Him we seek.

God’s children receive grace compassionate,
From their Father in Heav’n, awesome and great.
Our troubles and sorrows are felt by Him,
He blesses us daily, makes bad things dim.

God’s grace is absolutely amazing,
Plus the fact, it is absolutely free.
Our Father truly shows us such great love,
He blesses us daily, from Heav’n above.

HE CAME . . . December 2012 message

Have you thought, ‘bout all Jesus has done?
Such abundant love, from God’s own Son.
He came to Earth, when He knew He’d die,
He knew His enemies, would crucify.

He didn’t have to leave, Heav’n above,
But His Heart for us, was filled with love.
He knew there was nothing, we could do,
So He came to die, for the chosen few.

Some folks think their works, will get them there,
To God’s Home, that His children shall share.
Accessing Heav’n, is by faith alone,
He came that salvation, could be known.

He came for you, and He came for me,
Our Lord Jesus, gives us victory.
The love that He has, for us stands fast,
This awesome God, from eternity past.

To redeem our souls, is why He came,
Let us give praise, to His Holy Name.
A price we couldn’t pay, Jesus paid,
Let us give thanks to Him, ev’ry day.

Christ came to pay a debt He didn’t owe,
Came to Earth, God’s love to bestow.
Left the glory of Heav’n, just to die,
For the sins of man, make us awry.

He paid our debt, to set us all free,
Free from God’s wrath, and sin’s penalty.
‘Twas a debt, not one of us could pay,
So, in God’s wisdom, Christ was the “Way”.

Christ came in love, to save us from Hell,
He does not want any, there to dwell.
Just trust and accept God’s only Son,
And friend, eternal life, has begun!

He can save from condemnation of sin,
He can save from guilt we feel within.
He can save from sin’s polluting power,
He can save from sin’s dominion this hour.

He can save from Satan’s tormenting force,
He can save from temptation’s evil course.
He can save from sin’s destructive results,
He can save completely from sin’s tumults.

He can save from God’s wrath one day in time,
He can save and cleanse us from all sin’s grime.
He can save us from the vengeance of Hell,
Only Christ can save, and in Heav’n we’ll dwell.

Turn to Him now; He can save, He can save,
Just Christ can release you as Satan’s slave.
Turn to Him now, eternal life is giv’n,
Only Christ can save and give life in Heav’n.

When troubles come from all around,
Comfort from my Friend, does abound!
It is no longer a mystery,
For now I know, He cares for me!

Jesus is touched by griefs I bear,
When I tell Him, as I go in prayer.
My grief I don’t have to bear alone,
He cares for me, this He has shown!

When darkness is on the path I take,
When strength is gone, and friends forsake,
When it seems I have just loneliness,
He cares for me, O how He does bless!

When I’m filled with iniquity,
And sin’s shadows hang over me,
I can trust Jesus to forgive,
He cares for me, each day I live!

Jesus love for me, will never die,
And His mercy He won’t deny.
He comforts me both day and night,
He cares for me, no matter my plight.

I’m not alone when I have pain,
For His Presence always remains,
My ev’ry trouble He does share,
For my Saviour, truly does care!

HE CHANGED ME . . . Oct.2001 Message

If you are willing, God can change you,
Into the real you; someone so true.
‘Fore I knew Jesus, life was all sin,
It was always ‘me, me,’ never Him!

I finally did listen to my heart,
That small still voice, that wouldn’t depart.
What a change took place in my lifestyle,
Christ did love me; was there all the while.

I finally did submit to God,
He was patient, as wrong roads I trod.
I yielded to Him, and tried to obey,
I’m not perfect, but He is my Stay.

To my Lord, my life I did commit,
I trust completely His dear Spirit.
I’m no longer the old sinful me,
For my dear Jesus did set me free.

I trust my Saviour to make me right,
My righteousness is dark as the night.
Thanks be to Jesus, who paid my debt,
Without Him, I’d be in Satan’s net.

Jesus took away sin’s penalty,
Remov’d God’s wrath, for eternity.
I truly do thank Him, and praise His Name,
He really changed me; took all my shame.

Now that I am in God’s family,
I want to love and obey, closely.
I can ne’er do near enough to repay,
All He has done, the rest of my days.

He Condescended . . . Dec.2002 Message

Jesus did condescend, for you and me,
Leaving His Home in Heav’n, to set us free.
He came willingly, to die on that cross,
Bearing our sin, that we’d not be at loss.

Condescending, from KING to humble Man,
Voluntarily He came, to fill God’s plan.
He could have stayed, in His Home of beauty,
But He came instead, in love, not duty!

He lowered Himself, to our level,
So we could someday, in His Home dwell.
Mocked and degraded, for us He died,
Only then, did God open Heav’n wide.

Do you condescend, for any today?
Or just go about, in your uppish way?
You must treat others, as you’d have them do,
We must be more like Christ, both me and you.
By: His servant, Connie Kramer Feb.10, 1996 # 123

I love, because God first loved me,
Because of love, from sin, I must flee.
If we love, we shouldn’t have any fear,
For Christ our Saviour, is always near.

God is love: he that loves, dwells in God,
This love comes freely, no need to prod.
If I dwell in God; God dwells in me,
Christ’s gracious love, gave me victory!

Who e’er shall confess Jesus as ‘LORD’,
Shall be forgiv’n; plain is His Word.
God loved us much, to send His Son,
If we believe, eternal life’s begun!

We too must love, as our God does love,
Patient, forgiving love, as from above.
If we hate our brother, we hate God,
We must love and forgive, as Earth we trod.

Love, full of mercy, compassion and grace,
Is what we should strive for in our race.
Ne’er ending, ne’er changing, love so true,
I fall so short, how about you?

HE INCLUDED ME . . . May 2001 Message

A privilege; that I’m in God’s fam’ly,
Tho’ a sinner, God included me!
Thru’ faith, by grace, God saved my soul,
Washed away my sins, and made me whole!

He included me, Him I do praise,
I’ll thank Him to the end of Earth’s days.
I’m unworthy, yet He reached out in love,
That one day I’ll live Heav’n above!

He included me, ‘fore He made the Earth,
Even tho’ I am of little worth.
He knew one day I’d trust and believe,
And His precious Son, I would receive!

Called by the Father; amazingly,
I am His child; He included me!
In the Book of Life, God wrote my name,
Gladly this privilege, I humbly claim!

Yes! He included me; lowly me,
Gave me the Gift; life eternally!
God sent His Son to take my sins away,
Christ died for me on that sad, lonesome day!

He included me; awesome but true,
God can do the very same for you!
A child of God; with Christ joint heir,
Where forever, we’ll God’s glory share!

His including me, gives joy and peace,
Forgiveness of sins, that burden’s ceas’d!
A mansion reserv’d in Heav’n above,
All because of God’s remarkable love!

When troubles arise, Jesus is there,
He is always near, because He cares!
Bringing great comfort when He attends,
He is Saviour and Lord; but also Friend!

When you have sorrow; you mourn and weep,
He is always near, and will calmly keep!
In times of mourning, we do bewail,
But He will console, he’ll never fail!

When sickness upon you does befall,
He is always near, to hear your call!
When a child or loved one does fall ill,
His very Presence with peace does fill!

When your load seems to heavy to bear,
He is always near, your burdens to share!
When you are afraid or have great stress,
He’ll not leave nor forsake; but only bless!

Jesus is always near; day and night,
He comes to our aid, no matter our plight,
With love, wisdom, comfort and vast pow’r,
He willingly attends at any hour!

He Knew . . . April 2009 Message

He knew one of the twelve, would betray,
And He also knew, the exact way.
As He sat at the Passover meal,
Judas’ betrayal, He did reveal.

He knew Simon Peter would deny,
Though Peter’s words were: “Lord, never I.”
Three times from Christ, Peter turned away,
‘Fore the cock crow’d, at the break of day.

He knew that His own, would forsake Him,
“Release Barabbas,” their shouts were grim,
He knew He’d hear them scream: “Crucify,”
As He started to the cross, to die.

He knew they’d mock Him, with a crown of thorns,
He knew a scarlet robe, He’d adorn.
He knew they’d spit on Him, and smite His Head,
Not one to comfort Him, His great dread.

He knew the Cyrene, would bear His cross,
As the crowd around, did gloat and stare.
He knew with Him, two thieves would die,
On Calvr’y’s hill; they’d be crucified.

He knew one of the thieves, would repent,
Christ’s words of comfort, made the thief content.
He knew all things, that would happ’n that day,
Yet e’er so willingly, He did stay.

He died on that cross, to set us free,
Giving to us, life eternally.
He gives us vic’try, when we go His way.
A loving Saviour, He did portray.

He knows what’s in your heart, dear friend,
There’s no use, with Him to pretend.
He knows your thoughts, every one,
He knows the end, ‘fore it’s begun!

He knows if you love Him for real,
He knows true and false, when you kneel.
There’s no use to lie, when you pray,
He sees what your heart does portray.

There is NO way, to hide from God,
He fills all Heav’n and Earth, so broad.
He searches the heart, of each one,
He knows hearts of men; missing NONE!

He knows your thoughts, that they are in vain,
He reads those thoughts, so very plain.
Your thoughts are worthless, ‘less for Him,
And the path you walk, will be dim.

Do not try, any thought , to hide,
Make sure your heart is opened wide.
When you go to His throne of grace,
You don’t want Him to hide His Face!

An unbeliever, God will not hear,
Accept Christ FIRST, His Word is clear!
Thru’ His Blood, we approach the throne,
Only His Blood, our sins do atone.

When you’re discouraged, from a fruitless day,
He knows how hard you’ve tried, along the way.
When from your efforts, your body and soul tire,
He knows, and He’ll encourage and inspire.

When you’ve cried so long, your heart seems to break,
He knows, sees your tears, and won’t forsake.
When you seem in anguish, continually,
He knows your every pain and agony.

When you feel as if time has passed you by,
He knows dear one, how hard you try.
When you feel as if none of your friends are true,
He knows, and is always waiting for you.

When you’re lonely, and friends are too busy to call,
He knows, and is by your side thru’ it all.
When things go wrong, and you’ve tried everything,
He knows, and can be your greatest blessing.

When nothing makes sense, and you are confused,
He knows, and your prayer won’t be refused.
When things suddenly look brighter and true,
You’ll finally know, God listens to you.

Take your every problem to God in pray’r,
Morning, mid-day or night; He’s always there!

He knows when I am gloomy and sad,
He knows when I am happy and glad.
From me, He is never far away,
Whether it be dark night, or mid day.

He knows when troubles eas’ly beset,
He knows when o’er my problems, I do fret.
My burden He will help me carry,
But I must ask Him, and not tarry.

He knows when my sorrow takes control.
He knows when I’m faint within my soul.
Tis His desire that to Him I go,
Comfort is there, He wants me to know.

He knows when I’m o’er come with great pain,
He knows when I’m fighting Satan’s chain.
Tis His will that I have victory,
And from Satan’s pow’r I be set free.

He knows my thoughts, ev’ry single one,
He knows the end, ‘fore a thing’s begun.

He knows when we are weary, after a hectic day,
He sees our fruitless efforts, all along our way.
He knows we get discouraged, and has seen us cry,
He has seen our anguish, and seen how hard we try.

‘Tis difficult, to lead a life for the Lord,
For most of the world, refuse to believe His Word.
As God’s children, we must be His servants too,
So we must serve Him, in love and faith so true.

He knows our hearts, and if we are sincere,
So let us serve Him, with reverence and fear.
If we be wise, we will turn many to the Lord,
For we will trust His guidance, His Holy Word.

If we follow Him, we will be fishers of men,
Serving Him faithfully, o’er and o’er again.
Tho’ Christ has set us free, and gave us victory,
We must obey Him, to have life eternally.

He that serves the Master, honor shall receive,
Let us look to His Hand, and trust and believe.
Let us serve the Lord, and be faithful and wise,
Our loyal faithfulness, He will not despise.

He knows when we’re weary, after a hectic day,
Ev’n tho’ our efforts are fruitless, along the way.
Let us not be discouraged, but to Him cry out,
Tho’ our efforts seem to fail, let us never doubt.

On our own pow’r we cannot save, ev’n one soul,
Saving is not our job; bringing the Word is our goal.
How shall they believe, if they do not hear?
He knows when we reach out, in Godly fear!

HE MEETS ME . . . Jan.2005 Message

He meets me in the garden, when I go to pray,
Whether it be early dawn, or late in the day.
Always gives me words, to encourage and cheer,
I consider it a privilege, to have Him near!

He meets me in the mountains, where I go to be alone,
His guidance is a blessing, for right roads to me are shown.
Always gives me enough light, that I may see,
The dark, foreboding paths, looming in front of me!

He meets me in the crowd, when lonely I feel,
He makes me know, His friendship and love are real.
Always gives me great peace deep down in my heart,
Tenderly assuring, that He will never depart!

He meets me in times of sorrow and distress,
Quietly confiding, that He will forever bless.
Always gives me comfort, and strength to go on,
O’ how I praise, God’s only begotten Son!

Jesus meets me; any time, any place my friend,
With comforting assurance, that He’s there to the end!
Always gives me joy and contentment inside,
I consider it a privilege, to have Christ abide!

Do you ever meet Jesus in your time of need?
Do you gain His wisdom, before you proceed?
Do you ask for His pow’r, before you start your task?
Do you thank Him, as in His placid peace you bask?

He reached down in love, and lifted me,
Into a life of true victory.
Out of a life in the heathen world,
Gave eternal life as my reward.

He reached down, as at His cross I knelt,
Such awesome peace, is what I felt.
I could feel Him, come into my heart,
As He promis’d me, He would not depart!

He reached down to one, as sinful as me,
And life became one of serenity.
All the sins I had done, now were gone,
Forgiv’n, for now ‘twas a brand new dawn.

When He reached down, my whole life changed,
My attitudes and actions, He rearranged.
It seemed as though love, flooded my soul,
When I gave Him control, He gave me new goals.

I’m so glad that He, reached down in love,
For He made me a child, of God above.
He died for me, the supreme price He paid,
On that horrid cross, His own life He laid.

Today He is reaching down to you,
Will you accept His loyal love so true?
He wants you to live with Him one day,
In glorious Heaven, far away!

He saw what you did, to your brother,
It was not nice, don’t try to cover.
He knows what lies in deepest darkness,
There’s no way, your sins, you can suppress.

He saw what you did, to your friend,
You’d better hurry, and make amends.
All things are opened to His eyes,
Naked before Him; do not deny!

He heard what you said, this very day,
Gossip, cursing, and lies; a bad display!
Be sure that your sins will find you out,
A Christian should not be on that route!

He’s reading your thoughts, this very day,
Evil thoughts to Him, are sin, alway!
He knows each thing that comes to our mind,
God sees and knows all; He is not blind!

If you are His child, He watches you,
You must watch what you say, think, and do!
We are to imitate Jesus, our Lord,
Then with God, we’re in willing accord.

Are there things that you think, do and say,
That are evil, and make God turn away?
When we take on the “Name” of Christ, our Lord,
We should live according to His Word!

Physical health is of great concern,
And of this matter, folks want to learn.
They do ev’rything they possibly can,
To lengthen the years of mortal man.

Much is spent on crazes, fads and food,
Done to make their health, better and good.
Regular checkups each and ev’ry year,
Good health is something most folks revere.

Hard workouts to get physically fit,
They run mile after mile; and not quit.
Exercise benefits; this is sure,
And many, agony, do endure.

But what of our spiritual condition?
Indifference will lead, to perdition.
No interest nor concern for God’s Word,
Will never bring your heart to our Lord.

Your soul gets more ill, as you rebel,
The path you’re traveling, leads to Hell.
Just Jesus can heal you spiritually,
This ‘Doctor’ gives health, eternally.

Very few think of spiritual health,
It’s worth more than all fame, pow’r and wealth.
Are you spiritually healthy this day?
If not, turn to Christ; go the other way!

HEAVEN . . . August 2010 Monthly Message

Heaven is as a bud, yet to unfold,
Revealing that wondrous street of gold.
With a tree of life on either side,
Where with our wondrous God we will abide.

Heaven will be as a exquisite rose,
Too beautiful for us, to e’vn suppose.
A river of water, from the Throne will flow,
Pure, clear, water of life, God will bestow.

There shall never again be any curse,
The tree of life, its fruit shall disperse.
God’s children shall see His glorious Face,
And we’ll have eternity to embrace.

There shall never be any more night,
For the Lord Himself, shall give us Light.
There shall be no more death, sorrow or tears,
For the Lord shall cast away, all fears.

The wall of the city is gleaming bright,
Like a diamond’s beauty, in the light.
Twelve gates will enable us to pass,
To the city of pure gold, clear as glass.

The gates shall not be shut at all by day,
There will be truth, honor and glory alway.
Those who obey God, are truly blest,
For they shall enter Heav’n, for perfect rest.

There’ll be no more tears from us, e’er again!

The City’s wall is a dazzling array,
Sparkling jasper makes a brilliant display.
Its foundation is of twelve precious stones,
Such radiant colors; it’s polychrome.

The wall has twelve gates; one pearl is each gate,
So amazing! it truly does frustrate.
There is no danger; the gates never close,
Nothing that defiles will ever impose.

There’ll be no night in this exalted place,
It will be lighted by God’s glorious grace.
God and the Lamb are all the light we’ll need,
Unlimited brilliance from them proceed!

When I read His Words of Heav’n’s beauty,
This awesome Place, of tranquility,
My mind simply cannot comprehend,
The Home of my God, who calls me friend.

Gold and precious gems, God did not spare,
When He built that City, way up there.
On that street of transparent gold, we’ll walk,
And of His glory, we’ll ne’er cease to talk.

Twelve wondrous gems, make the wall so high,
And the Light of our God, will intensify.
No sun or moon will be needed there,
For God and the Lamb, lights up everywhere!

In the beautiful wall, will be twelve gates,
Each gate will be just one pearl, e’er so great.
An angel by each of the gates does stand,
Secure from all evil, it will feel so grand.

Nothing evil will e’er be allowed in,
It will be peace, joy and bliss; never sin.
No more tears, no more death, no more sorrow,
We can always look forward to tomorrow.

I simply cannot picture this Place up there,

To live eternally with God’s love and grace,
And to finally see, my Saviour’s dear Face!

Heaven will be clothed with beauty and light,
Hell is naked before Him; dark as the night.
Heaven is high with Him; Hell is deep below,
Which of these places my friend, will you go?

Heaven is for all who love and obey God,
Hell, for Satan, and all who with him do trod.
Just as Heaven shall greet each one who believes,
Hell with its kings and chief ones, rejecters receive.

Heav’n can be attained by the young, or old,
Just trust Christ to save you, and you’re in the fold.
But all who can’t believe the Words God does tell,
Follow that slippy, dark way, and fall into Hell.

Not only the wicked ones to Hell will go,
‘Twill be many good, moral people, below.
A terrible pity, an eternal shame,
For those who refuse Christ, nor trust on His Name.

All God’s children will hear that Heavenly bell,
But all unbelievers, are turned into Hell.
Heav’n will be Home for those who trust and believe,
Hell is for rejecters; forever they’ll grieve.

It is easy your destination to change,
From Hell, to HEAVEN, do not think it so strange.
Believe what He says, just trust Jesus today,
Open your heart to Him. there’s no other way!

Only thru’ Jesus, there is NO other way,
To get to Heaven, on that fateful day.
No matter who you are, or where you are from,
God the Father, thru’ Jesus, will bid you “COME”.

In God’s house are many mansions, Christ said so,
He went to prepare a place, for us to go.
If we’re God’s children, by being ‘born again’,
One day He’ll call us Home, from our grief and pain.

A new Heaven and Earth will someday appear,
God’s wrath will end, and He will always be near.
The Holy City, the new Jerusalem,
God made for His children, ev’ry one of them.

There’ll be no more sorrow, no crying, no pain,
All tears are gone; and all reasons to complain.
God Himself shall dwell with us; His we will be,
Wondrous joy, peace and bliss, for eternity.

The City’s Light, as a gem precious and clear,
Will be Jesus, please do listen and do hear.
We’ll not need the sun’s rays, nor light of the moon,
For His Light is brilliant; and He shall come soon.

There’ll be no more night, no evil, and no wrong,
All shall glorify God, so supreme and strong.
Nothing that defiles; not one who makes a lie,
Will be able to enter in, or even to pry.

I pray you listen, if you’ve not believed God,
Don’t follow Satan, on that road that’s so broad.
You don’t want to go with him, of this I’m sure,
It’s a road to destruction, and has no cure.

Please trust and follow Jesus, He’ll lead you right,
Just He can take you to Heav’n, all pure and bright.
Open your heart’s door, He wants to come inside,
And with you, for eternity, He will abide.

Heaven and Hell are REAL; they do exist,
Heaven for those who Christ do not resist.
Hell was made for the devil and his angels,
But if you follow him, there you’ll dwell.

Most folk don’t think about Hell deep below,
They don’t think that there they will ever go.
I ask that you think about it today,
Just believe God, and you won’t go that way.

What’s the difference ‘tween Heav’n and Hell?
In God’s Word, He very plainly does tell.
In Heav’n living water; in Hell constant thirst,
The ‘Light’ of Christ, verses total darkness!

In Heav’n no more pain; in Hell agony,
Friendship in Heav’n, verses Hell’s enemies.
Love and joy of Heav’n, verses sadness and hate,
Twelve gates in Heav’n, verses Hell’s NO escape.

Comfort and contentment of God’s bright Heav’n,
No rest, and resentment, what Hell is giv’n.
Blessings and peace verses judgment and anger,
Constant fellowship, verses no one to care.

Blue skies and sweet fragrance of Heav’n so high,
Blackness and sulfur stench in Hell awry.
Green grass and flowers, verses dark deep pits,
No more tears in Heav’n; in Hell, screams won’t quit!

O’ dear friend, as you read these brutal words,
Please accept Christ; don’t reject or discard!
Only Christ can save you from deep dark Hell,
Only Christ gives Heav’n’s key, where you could dwell.

Heav’n Vs Hell

God’s children shall live in Heav’n above,
In this great city, fill’d with God’s love.
The home of Satan’s children is Hell,
In misery for e’er, they shall dwell.

Heav’n shall be an awesome, dazzling sight,
For e’er glist’ning, in God’s glorious light.
Worse than the blackest night, Hell shall be,
Smoth’ring darkness, for eternity.

In Heav’n, the Presence of God is there,
You will feel His great love, ev’ry where.
In Hell, God will be no where around,
Just agonizing pain, shall abound.

No more crying in Heav’n, no more tears,
Just peace, joy, comfort, and no more fears.
In Hell, crying and tears shall ne’er cease,
Foreboding heartbreak, will not decrease.

In Heav’n, a river starts at God’s Throne,
Its beauty, shall be our very own.
Hell will have NO water anywhere,
Distress and anguish, can’t be compar’d.

A tree of life, shall be by the street,
Its fruit to us, shall be a great treat.
In Hell, absolutely not one tree,
No nature’s beauty, no serenity.

In Heav’n, love, joy and tranquility,
Peace and contentment, eternally.
In Hell, suff’ring, that will never end,
And out of that pit, you’ll ne’er ascend.

In Heav’n there shall be twelve wondrous gates,
Each gate will be one pearl, e’er so great.
NO exit doors, anywhere in Hell,
This place where Satan and his children dwell.

Have you turned to Him, when you were afraid?
Have you, your worries, taken to Him?
Have you trusted Him, in shadows dim?

In your confusion, did you ask Him to guide?
Did you ask that your daily needs, He provide?
Did you ask that your doubts He remove?
Did you ask that you live a life, that He approves?

Have you thanked Him for removing your fear?
Have you thanked Him for His Presence, near?
Have you thanked Him for His guiding light?
Have you thanked Him for making darkness bright?

Have you thanked Him for taking pain away?
Have you thanked Him for every new day?
Have you thanked Him for your mansion above?
And have you thanked Him for His awesome love?

2 Cor.9:15; Ps.26:7; 30:12; 68:19; 79:13; 116:12; 118:28

Hell is described in many diff’rent ways,
Christ was faithful, it’s horror to portray.
Of all that He taught, He taught of Hell more,
He wants ev’ry one to know, what’s held in store.

Everlasting punishment, Jesus tells,
A place where all unbelievers shall dwell.
Everlasting fire, made for the evil one,
Plus all who don’t believe Christ is God’s own Son.

A furnace of fire, where all shall wail,
This is a prison, where there is no bail.
Eternal torments, and great agony,
But there shall be no one, to set you free.

Banished from the Presence of God’s glory,
For without Christ, you are God’s enemy.
No exit doors, this is where you shall stay,
Because the Gospel, you did not obey.

With the strength of Christ, you need not cow’r!
He’ll guide on right roads both night and day,
And will come thru’ with right words to say!

He’ll be there, in the clouds, one day soon,
It could be morn’ or night, or maybe noon.
We know not when we’ll hear His great shout,
Calling God’s children, from round about!

He’ll be there, sure, at the Judgment Seat,
One day our Almighty Judge we’ll meet!
Reward or loss? when our works He’ll try,
For that ‘reward,’ will you qualify?

He’ll be there, on Heaven’s blissful shore,
Where we will for e’er, our Lord adore!
He’ll be there, in glory and majesty,
Where we will praise Him for eternity!

Heb.13:5, John 15:1-7; 1 Thes.4:13-17; 1 Co.3:11-15; Rev.ch.21 & 22

Those in Hell shall live in agony,
Then, they’ll not doubt, God’s supremacy.
While on Earth, they rejected the Lord,
Living a life of pleasure, they adored.

Those in Heav’n don’t doubt God’s sovereignty,
Our Almighty King, of eternity.
They accepted the Lord, while on Earth,
Living a life of service, and great worth.

Your soul is eternal, did you know?
With two destinations, where it could go.
Reject Jesus, and for you it’s Hell,
Accept Jesus, and in Heav’n you’ll dwell.

Before you this day, just two roads lie,
Which road will you choose, before you die?
The wide road leads to Hell’s agony,
The narrow road, to Heav’n’s serenity.

As you walk in your garden, in early day,
With the wonders of nature, along the way.
The grass so green, and lovely flowers so bright,
And birds singing their songs, in the sky so light.

O, please consider what I have to say,
Hell won’t be like this, on any giv’n day.
NONE of these precious things will ever be there,
Only darkness and agony, and despair.

The beautiful roses, so much you do love,
Red ones, yellow and pink; all from God above.
Their wonderful fragrance, does so fill the air,
Of these priceless treasures, nothing can compare.

Again, I beg you, hearken to the words I say,
Hell WON’T be like this, in any of these ways.
The fires of God’s judgment, burn forever more,
And there is NO escape for you; NOT one door!

Friendship and love you have for fam’ly and friends,
A warm glowing feeling, on Earth has no end.
The comfort, peace and joy, you have in your home,
Pleasures unnumbered, from God they do come.

O, please listen carefully to what I say,
HELL WON’T BE LIKE THIS, I pray, you I can sway!
Please turn to Jesus, accept God’s only Plan,
You do have a choice, and from Hell, you’ll be bann’d.

Help me precious Lord, show me what to do,
I want to live a life that pleases You!
Lord, give me guidance, to take the right road,
Help me carry those burdensome loads.

Help me to be who You want me to be,
Let others see Jesus living in me.
Lord, give me meekness, take all pride away,
Help me to live better, day after day.

Help me that to others, love I may show,
Don’t let hatred flare up, that it cause woe.
Lord, fill me with love from deep down inside,
That others may know Your Spirit abides.

Help me that Your will be done in my life,
I truly do pray that I cause no one strife.
Lord, as I live, let me imitate You,
In thoughts, words and deeds, and all that I do.

Help me do for folks, as I’d want them do for me,
Sincerely I pray, for this is life’s ‘key’.
Lord, with the fruits of Your Spirit, me do fill,
For I want to please You, and do Your will.

Help Me

Help me forgive, when one does me wrong,
Help me cast out malice, e’er so strong.
Help me to forgive, as You forgive me,
That I may live with You, eternally.

Help me Lord, to judge all righteously,
I must not judge others, falsely.
The measure I use, to judge so freely,
Will be the same measure, used on me.

Forgiveness, is very strange indeed,
To this, we should seriously take heed.
If I don’t forgive, God won’t forgive me,
I must consider this, seriously.

Living as God wants, is hard to do,
But we must keep, God’s will in view.
With our pow’r and wisdom, we will fail,
Without God’s help, we will moan and wail.

Help me to be, who You want me to be,
Help me choose right roads, on my journey.
I fall so far short, this I do know,
Let me have wisdom, as You I follow.

Help me to be who You want me to be,
Let those around, see Your Son in me.
For this request Lord, I need Your aid,
Without Your help, I’ll not make the grade.

Give me more love with each passing day,
That the love of Christ, I can display.
With hatred and malice running wild,
Let those around me, know I’m Your child.

Patience is something, I truly need,
‘Imitate Jesus’ should be my creed.
With flaring tempers all around me,
Dear Lord, help me do things patiently.

Give me a spirit of gentleness,
That souls of lost ones I might caress.
With evil and violence all around,
Let calm and goodness in me be found.

I’m far from being what I should be,
Lord, I truly need for You to help me.
Please Lord, be with me in ev’ry task,
In this, my pray’r, I humbly do ask.

In You is strength, for You are the Vine,
Let Your will be done, and mine decline.
Without You Lord, I’m nothing at all,
But with Your pow’r and wisdom, I stand tall.

I know I have a long way to go,
Help me be willing, as Your way You show.
Help me to be who You want me to be,
Let those around, see Your Son in me.

Help Me To Wait on You

Lord, lead me in Thy Truth, and teach me,
Show me Thy ways, Let me wait on Thee.
Thy tender mercies and loving kindness
Have blotted out my sins, as You bless.

If I wait on You, my heart becomes strong,
Lord, You will teach me and keep me from wrong.
I have seen Thy goodness in this great land,
I would faint and fall, lest for Thy Hand.

I must know that Thou art God; and be still,
I must always, prayerfully, do Thy will.
Thou wilt teach and lead me in Thine own ways,
If I will just wait on You, all my days.

For the God of salvation, my soul waits,
Only the Lord, my faithfulness rates.
I shall not be moved; on my Rock I’ll stand,
For just He can guide me, with His own Hand.

God is my salvation, and my glory,
My refuge and defense, from enemies.
I will trust in the Lord, all times of day,
For His loving grace, He shows always.

(Psalms 25 & 62; 27:13-14; 46:10)

“Here I Am Lord, Send Me!”

O Lord, Your lost sheep are ev’rywhere,
Lord give me a heart that truly cares.
When I hear Your Voice, e’er so softly,
Lord, let me say: “Here I am, send me!”

Your lost sheep are in city jungles wild,
Lord, give me words, to make them Your child.
When I feel Your Presence, e’er so near,
I should say: “Send me” without any fear.

Your lost sheep are in the mountains high,
Lord, give me strength that I qualify.
When I feel You tugging at my heart,
“Send me, Lord,” that I may do my part.

Your lost sheep are by the ocean side,
Lord, give me wisdom, and be my Guide.
When I hear You say: “Go ye therefore,”
“Send me, Lord;” help me open their door.

Your lost sheep are being led astray,
By the devil, in this wicked day.
Help me Jesus, to have the desire,
To lift these lost ones, out of sin’s mire.

Lord, give me boldness to stand by You,
Don’t let me fear, what folks say or do.
Don’t let me worry ‘bout what I’ll say,
For You will give me words, if I obey.

Lord give me a compassionate heart,
To help these lost ones, from sin to depart.
I must say: “Here I am, Lord, send me,”
Or they won’t see life eternally.

Old Satan will try, to lie and deceive,
And try to get you, false doctrine to receive.
Always remember, the devil is sly,
That’s why you must always, on Christ rely!

There are many, damnable heresies,
Ev’ry one of them lead, to Hell’s agonies.
All are spouted by wolves, dress’d up like sheep,
And millions of seekers, readily leap!

“Name it, Claim It”, is one doctrine they preach,
Such false hopes of riches, is what they teach.
This prosperity gospel, leads many astray,
As folks look and lust for, a better day!

It is not always God’s will, to heal,
But His sufficient grace, He will reveal!
The “Name It, Claim It” doctrine is wrong,
But millions follow, the old devil’s throng!

There is no Hell, another heresy,
That leads millions, to eternal agony!
Ev’ry one goes to Heav’n, Satan’s crowd does teach,
But the gates of Heav’n, they will never reach!

God is a God of love, but also wrath,
Judgment will fall, to those on the wrong path!
Those false teachers, lead multitudes astray,
As the Gospel of Christ, they betray!

We all must walk, the strait and narrow road,
If we want Heav’n, as our eternal abode!
Do not listen to wolves, dress’d up like sheep,
Or the wonders of Heav’n, you will not reap!

In the soggy marsh, or desert dry,
He’s all around, we cannot deny.

He’s there, in the rugged mountains high,
In the air too, where bold eagles fly.
On the plain where luscious crops do grow,
He’s all around, surely this I know.

He’s there, in puffy clouds high and white,
In the sunset, He has painted bright.
In the great seas, filled with mystery,
He’s all around, in every country.

He’s in the storm, whether night or day,
In the calm, when the storm blows away.
In your home, so very close to you,
He’s all around, and He’s always true.

All things were made by Him, He alone,
Where e’er you look, His great works are shown.
All the birds, reptiles, fish and beasts,
Flowers and forests, to say the least.

He’s all around, His great works are clear,
Wonder of wonders; He’s always near!
The greatest mystery of this day,
Eternal life in Heav’n; we’re on our way!

“I will never leave you nor forsake you,”
A wonderful promise, one He will do.
Do you have troubles, doubt, sorrow or fear?
God wants you to call Him, He’s always near.

God never changes, as the world wants to,
He’s always the same; faithful, loving, true.
Many struggle, as they do things their way,
But He’s always there, to help when we pray!

“I’m with you always, to the end of the age,”
Such great comfort, as we read from His Page.
It does not matter, what troubles you’re in,
He’s always there, when you turn to Him!

“I will help and uphold thee, with my right Hand,”
His support is there, when we take our stand.
His presence in near, we’ll not be ashamed,
He’s always there, this blessing we’ve gained!

Great the afflictions of the right and just,
But trust and obey; to Him it’s a must.
The Lord is so good to help us along,
He’s always there, alone or in a throng!

He’s a ‘Light’ in the dark, gracious and true,
Full of love and compassion, to help you.
Fix your heart on the Lord; cast out your fear,
He’s always there, now, tomorrow; so near!

Once you confess Christ as Saviour and Lord,
You must walk with Him in willing accord.
Trials come; but where you go or what you do,
He’s always there, that He may help you thru’!

Have you reached out your hand to Him for aid?
Have you turned to Him, when you were afraid?
Have you, your worries, taken to Him?
Have you trusted Him, in shadows dim?

In your confusion, did you ask Him to guide?
Did you ask that your daily needs, He provide?
Did you ask that your doubts, He remove?
Did you ask that you live a life, that He approves?

Have you thanked Him for removing your fear?
Have you thanked Him for His Presence, near?
Have you thanked Him for His guiding light?
Have you thanked Him for making, darkness bright?

Have you thanked Him, for taking pain away?
Have you thanked Him for, every new day?
Have you thanked Him, for your mansion above?
And have you thanked Him, for His awesome love?

High in the clouds, He’ll come one day soon,
We know not, morning, midnight or noon.
With a great shout, all believers shall hear,
This tremendous day, is drawing near!

We all will meet Christ in the clouds so high,
He promised, so on Him, we can rely!
The dead in Christ will be first to go,
Those alive and remain, will follow.

Such wondrous joy, on this day will be,
For we’ll then be with Christ, eternally.
He’ll take us to our mansion He’s prepar’d,
And eternal bliss of Heav’n, will be shar’d.

We must watch, and be ready for Him,
We must not let the world, our vision dim.
We know not the hour, nor the day,
When Christ shall come, in a mighty display.

He’ll change us, in the twinkling of an eye,
To our new bodies, that will never die.
Bodies like Christ, that won’t sin any more,
Bodies fitted, for Heav’n’s blissful shore.

With great hope and joy, I look to this hour,
For we’ll then see, Jesus’ awesome pow’r.
We’ll see His majestic, splendid glory,
And we’ll live in His Home, eternally!

The lonely call of the whippoorwill,
In the shadows of a night so still.
Stars sparkle brightly, so far away,
The pale moon light, on the lake does play.

The light of dawn comes, as night recedes,
Another day begins to proceed,
Soft rays of sunlight, thru’ pastel clouds,
Removes the night’s dark, dreary, shroud.

A wondrous morning, dewy and bright,
Beautiful birds, their songs do recite.
Pretty flowers, trees and grass are green,
Showers from Heaven makes all so clean.

Many different creatures God made,
Some live in deserts; some in the glade.
From a huge whale, to a tiny insect,
Our Creator makes all; so perfect!

God placed the Earth, on nought at all,
Yet nary once, did it ever fall!
He ordains all in the universe,
Praise be to Him! just He can disperse.

HE'S MY EVERYTHING . . . Mar.1999 Message

Much more precious, than bright diamonds,
Is Christ’s love for us, that does abound!
Love so gracious, merciful and true,
Such precious love, we can’t misconstrue.

Much more precious, than a grand ruby,
Is Christ’s love, that brought victory!
Sin and Satan, no longer control,
For Christ our Saviour, has saved our soul!

Much more precious, than possessions galore,
Knowing one day we’ll stand, on Heav’n’s shore!
To live for e’er, with Jesus so dear,
With ne’er a heartache, pain nor fear!

Much more precious, than earthly power,
Is Christ’s awesome love, that’s there ev’ry hour!
His grace and love, and mercy unending,
There for us always, strongly defending!

Much more precious, than treasures untold,
His love, is more precious than gold!
Christ is so wondrous, so true; I’m at a loss,
He loved us SO much, He died on the cross!

He’s my Shepherd, I have all I need,
He feeds me, and by still waters leads.
Giving me solace and blessed rest,
And gives me strength, to withstand ev’ry test.

He clearly leads in all the right roads,
Support and protection; He’s bestowed.
His rod and staff, always there to guide,
Giving me comfort, as I abide.

When I walk that dark valley of death,
At the time God gives me my last breath.
I won’t be afraid; I’ll have no fear,
He’ll be there guiding; guarding, so near.

He’s my wondrous Host, for ever more,
Our wonderful God; we must adore.
His goodness and mercy follow me,
And will continue, eternally.

My Shepherd shall lead me, to God’s House,
Because of Him, I’m victorious.
He goeth before all of His sheep,
We follow gladly, for us, He does keep.

If Christ is your Shepherd; He will bless,
Granting rest, strength, guidance and goodness.
Too, He’ll give hope and sufficiency,
Joy, peace, love, and perfect destiny!

If you walk alone beside a stream,
So perfect in beauty, as if a dream,
He is there with you, along your side,
Always wanting with you to abide.

What if you should just happen to be,
In a bustling crowd, in a big city?
Do you possibly think He’d leave you?
No, my dear friend, He’s always true!

But what if you would happen to do,
Some sinful thing that you ought not to?
He won’t leave, but He will be upset,
Ask His forgiveness; He paid the debt.

Once you’re a child in God’s family,
He’ll never leave you; He walks closely!
Though He does get displeased at times,
When we truly repent, all is fine.

A wondrous feeling, down in my heart,
The ‘peace’ He’s giv’n, shall never depart.
I know for a fact; without a doubt,
He’s always with me, always round ‘bout.

He’s there, as I go on that narrow road,
Helping to carry my cumbersome load.
He’s there, as my uphill path does unfold,
To lead me in great light, and love untold.

He’s there, to lead in paths I do not know,
With compassion and grace, He does bestow.
We walk by our faith, and not by our sight,
With the “Light” of Jesus, ‘tis never night!

He’s there, to lead me one day at a time,
He’ll not leave nor forsake, a promise fine.
Tomorrow is a day I won’t fret about,
For He’s there, always, to show me the route!

Did you e’er have all things, seem to go wrong?
And your strength was gone, you felt weak, not strong?
Did you ask for help, or go it alone?
He’s there for you, why do it on your own?

Does the road you’re trudging, seem all uphill?
Are your tired legs weak, with no pow’r to fill?
Did you take it to Christ, ask Him for aid?
He’s there for you, when you can’t make the grade.

Has funds been low, but bills keep piling high?
There’s no peace within, all you do is cry?
Have you thought, maybe Christ could assist?
He’s there for you, you should cease to resist.

Have daily cares and worries, pressed you down?
Do you rarely smile, but just wear a frown?
Jesus could make things easier for you,
He’s there for you, and He will see you thru’.

A dark cloud could have, a silver lining,
Ev’n worst troubles, could end with a blessing.
Many great Promises, to us He makes,
He’s there for you, He will never forsake.

Christ won’t make all your troubles go away,
But He’ll walk with you, each step of the way.
His yoke is easy, and His burden light,
He’s there for you, no matter your plight.

His Arms are around me, I have no fear,
No matter where I go, He’s always near.
Although trials and troubles, may come and go,
His Presence is a blessing. This I know.

His Arms are around me, worries are gone,
I am no longer, the old devil’s pawn.
With His Presence near, my troubles subside,
The Holy Spirit within, does reside.

His Arms are around me, in day or night.
He lifted me up, from an awful plight.
The many temptations, simply persist,
But knowing He’s close, helps me to resist.

His Arms are around me, I’m truly blest,
He ne’er strays from me, what e’er the test.
Walking that narrow road, is hard to do,
I’ll keep on, for one day, I’ll be with You.

His Arms are around me, I have great joy,
This feeling I have, no one can destroy.

I’m grateful this blessing, He applies.

His Arms are around me, is peace of mind,

His Book

Do you live by the rules, in His Book?
Or have you ne’er, taken time to look?
His Book always leads, in the right way,
But we must be wise, and read each day!

Many troubles come, from Satan’s hand,
As we live our life, in this great land.
Wisdom will make us, open His Book,
Good answers are inside, if we look!

Stress and worry, seem to come to all,
His Book clearly states, on Him to call.
Indescribable peace, can come to you,
But you must rely, on His Book so true!

Pain and sorrow, can come to your heart,
‘Tis now we must not, from His Book depart.
Such great comfort, can come from within,
Wisdom should tell us, it’s there to begin!

Pride is a no-no, we must be meek,
To imitate Jesus, we must seek.
His Book can keep us, on the right path,
And teach us how, to avoid God’s wrath!

His Book will never, lead you astray,
It tells how to get, to Heav’n one day.
It also tells us how to avoid Hell,
For certain no one, wants there to dwell!

If you’re not familiar, with His Book,
May I please suggest, that you take a look.
The Lord loves you, and won’t lead you wrong,
His Book leads you right, and makes you strong!

His Divine Love

On His divine Love, I cannot deny,
Instead on it, I completely rely.
Because of His grand, incredible love,
God sent His Son, from Heaven above.

Such sinners as we are, we'd ne'er reach Heaven,
God made just One Plan, and to us He's giv'n.
Jesus is the Truth, the Life and the Way,
Believe God, trust Christ, if you want Heaven one day.

On His divine pow'r, we must not reject,
Just Christ can make us God's child, and protect!
If we ever want to reach, Heaven's gate,
You must decide now, after death; it's too late!

You must never, from His wisdom, turn away,
He'll never lead wrongly, not any day!
He'll go with us, He'll counsel if we accept,
Then lead us to glory, and always protect.

When we fall into sin, which we ALL will do,
God's forgiveness is there, for both me and you.
Once He forgives sin, He remembers it NO more,
Eternal life leads us, to Heaven's shore.

Christ Jesus the Saviour, we must not deny,
And with His Commandments, we must comply.
"Another Jesus," so many serve today,
THAT Jesus will just get you, to Hell's broad way.

Once saved, always saved, eternal life is thine,
That street of gold your feet will trod, along with mine.
Such a grand Promise from God, Who cannot lie,
Believe Him my friend, and on Jesus rely.

His Face with awe, my soul does thrill,
My whole being, His Presence fills.
I know He’s always there for me,
Both now, and for eternity.

My soul sees His majestic Face,
So filled with wonder, love and grace.
I know He loves me, He told me so,
I know grand blessings, He will bestow.

As I see His Face, filled with awe,
I never see, nary a flaw.
His awesome Face, made perfectly,
Reveals love and serenity.

The Face of Jesus, my soul does seek,
This Face of beauty, e’er so meek.
Face to face, I’ll see Him one day,
Till then, my soul sees Him always.

HIS ‘FEET’ . . . Sept.1996 Message

We are His ‘feet’ in this world today,
That’s is why we must trust and obey.
We must take the Gospel to His lost sheep,
Lest the devil, with false doctrine creep.

We must travel the road, where He would go,
And love and compassion, we must show.
We are His ‘feet’ as we walk this Earth,
Imitate Jesus, or we’re not much worth.

Jesus sits at God’s right hand this day,
We must be His ‘feet’ and go the right way.
We must do the job, by others begun,
We must be His ‘feet’, or it won’t get done!

As we travel this Earth, life is fleet,
We must love and trust Him, and be His ‘feet’.
Do only what our Saviour would do,
‘Tis a hard life for me; how about you?

HIS GLORIOUS LIGHT . . . Jan.2002 Message

Walking in His glorious Light,
I need not worry ‘bout my sight.
I walk by faith, when I walk in Him,
The path ahead is never dim.

His glorious Light is all I need,
When on the precious Vine I feed.
My every need He does supply,
My trusting in Him does qualify.

His glorious Light does abound,
Darkness is gone, from all around.
No matter my plight, His Light does shine,
‘Tis great to know that Jesus is mine.

Ne’er any darkness, e’er at all,
His glorious Light won’t let me fall.
He removed the bonds of my sin,
When I believed, and trusted in Him.

His glorious Light out shines the sun,
Who can compare? nary a one.
Nothing to His Light, can compare,
We must tell others; and His Light share.

I’ll never walk in darkness again,
For my Source of Light will not wane!
I’ll walk by faith, not by my sight,
When I walk in Christ’s glorious Light!

His Guidance
Psalms 73:24
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (KJV)

Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, ev’ry day,
And afterward receive me, into glory!
Such grand Promises, continually bless,
To those who trust Christ Jesus, and Him confess.

How good God is, to those who trust and obey,
Their troubles and worries, He helps to defray.
Right roads are those, to which the Lord will direct,
And from the old devil’s darts, He will protect!

Only believing, can put you in God’s Hands,
And keep you away, from the devil’s commands.
The devil is God’s children’s, worst enemy,
He tempts and urges them, to live sinfully.

We must overcome the world, to have vic’try,
Only faith in Christ, gives life eternally!
We must believe that Jesus, is God’s own Son,
We must trust in His Work, on the cross He has done.

The Father has bestowed on us, His awesome love,
As He rules His Universe, from high above.
Calling Him “Father,” is a privilege indeed,
As He protects us, and provides for our needs.

All our needs, God does so graciously supply,
We, His children, must be wise, and on Him rely.
God loves us more, than we can comprehend,
And with Jesus, we can have no better Friend!

Our eternal home, is that mansion in Heav’n,
Our inheritance, that thru’ Jesus, is giv’n.
We must trust the Lord, as we live here below,
But trusting Him always, will blessings bestow.

His Guiding Light

He’s always there, when you ask for aid,
In pain and sorrow, and when you’re afraid.
He can help make your dark days seem bright,
My friend, just walk in His Guiding Light.

His Guiding Light can shine on your darkest day,
As He lovingly shows you, the right way.
As a Shepherd, keeping watch on His sheep,
In His loving Arms, He will tenderly keep.

From high above, He watches His own,
With Him as your Friend, you’re never alone.
Our Lord is only a short prayer away,
And His Guiding Light, He’ll gladly display.

His Guiding Light, can vast comfort bring,
His peace, power and joy, are great blessings.
With His awesome Presence, ever so near,
There isn’t anything we should fear.

Pitfalls and traps, can’t be seen at night,
But all is so clear, in His Guiding Light.
But should you stumble, or even fall,
He’ll reach out His Hand to you, when you call.

His Hand I see in things all around,
The beauty of nature is profound.
His wondrous works He did long ago,
His power and might they do show.

In the beauty of rugged mountains high,
Their majestic peaks reach to the sky.
I see in their great beauty, His Hand,
But not only there; in all the land.

The mighty oceans that keep their place,
The stars and planets way out in space.
So many we can’t e’vn estimate,
All were created by His Hand, so great!

The beasts of the field, the woods, the sea,
He made them all; also, you and me.
His Hand made all you see, and much more,
We should stand in awe, of the Creator!

Winter and spring, and summer and fall,
All seasons are at His beck and call.
Devastating storms; or calm and still,
According to the pleasure of His will.

His Hand is there to guide you and me,
Thru’ storms of life, or serenity.
On Him we can completely depend,
If we accept Jesus as our Friend.

Giv’n to “whosoever;” you and me.
His Hand, the Holy Spirit provides,
That with us for ever, will reside.

In troubling times, to it we can cling.
His Hand doles out love so deep and true,
Love that keeps us going, me and you.

His Hand supplies peace, way down deep,
Abundantly each day, we do reap.
His hand does furnish great hope and joy,
These vast blessings, no man can destroy.

His hand gives contentment, each new day,
‘Tis a great gain, in every way.
His Hand is there to comfort and guide,

His Hands

His Hands made the world, so long ago,
Then looked down from Heav'n, to earth below.
All was good, our awesome God did say,
Then He rested, on the seventh day.

His Hands shut the door, on the huge boat,
Then brought the Flood, causing it to float.
He made those animals, to congregate,
Allowing His Hands, to shut that gate.

His Hands thru' Moses, did strike that Rock,
When all that Moses did, was to talk.
Water from that Rock, did flow so free,
Quenching Israel's, thirsting misery.

His wrath kept rising, with Sodom's sin,
There was no way, that they'd ever win.
His Hands did curse, their evil desire,
He brought down on them, brimstone and fire.

As Israel from Egypt, did flee,
His Hands did separate, the Red Sea.
Israel then walked across, on dry land,
Because of the power, of God's Hand.

To  murmur and disobey, brings God's wrath,
Pay-back time comes, to those on this path.
His Hands could open, the Earth's mouth wide,
Grabbing wicked sinners, deep inside.

His Hands control the Earth, sea and sky,
His power and wisdom, none can deny.
Thunder storms, tornadoes and earthquakes,
Flooding, drought, He ne'er makes a mistake.

His hands come down, on iniquity,
God's wrath rages on sin, righteously.
But His Hands too, are comfort and love,
If your name is written, in Heav'n above!

His Hands

His Hands created, the whole wide world,
Then the sun, moon and stars were unfurled.
His Hands made the fishes, in the sea,
And all the animals, roaming free.

His Hands made birds, that fly in the sky,
And fowl for food, on which men rely.
His Hands made those "lights," moon, stars and sun,
His pow'r and wisdom, we must not shun.

When I consider, the work of His Hands,
What is man, in this glorious land?
The Earth's foundation, shall not be moved,
His hands brought the Flood, which this did prove.

His Hands sends springs, which run thru' the hills,
So beasts of the field, can have their fill.
His Hands made trees, for fowls of the air,
Ev'n the lowly sparrow, has no despair.

His Hands bring rain, a blessing indeed,
Bringing food from the Earth, which we need.
How diverse, is the work of His Hands,
Full of His riches, is this whole land.

In wisdom, all things His Hands did create,
An awesome God we have, and O' so great!
His glory shall forever, endure,
And His Hands keep, His children secure.

We must be strong in the Lord, and His pow'r,
When I'm weak, Christ comes thru', at any hour.
Praise the Lord, each and ev'ry day anew,
And His honor an glory, always pursue.

Without Jesus’ Hand, to lead me right,
I’d stumble and grope as in the night.

Without Jesus’ Hand on me, I know,
To that City of Gold, I’d never go!
I would be doom’d to Hell’s agony,
Without my dear Lord’s Hand on me!

Without His Hand on me to rightly teach,
Lost souls around me, I could not reach.
Without Jesus’ Hand, I’d sink and fall,

How I praise Him, for His awesome Hand,
Leading, guiding, helping me stand.

Is your life, just alcohol and drugs?
Do you run, with criminals and thugs?
Do you live, in deep darkness and fear?
Are gang’s roars, the only thing you hear?

Does depression on you, have its hold?
Temptation from Satan, is it bold?
Does life seem to hold you, in a cage?
Are you filled, with violence and rage?

Sin will take you, where you don’t want to go,
Day after day, ‘tis pain and sorrow.
There is good news, you might want to hear,
He can reach down, and remove your tears.

You can escape, the cycle of sin,
With Jesus on your side, you can win!
Change direction, go the other way,
Sin’s bondage can turn, to a bright day.

Satan will try, to harden your heart,
When from his grip, you try to depart.
You can travel, a much better road,
And Jesus will help, carry your load.

Jesus reaches down, His Hand to you,
Your life can take on, a diff’rent view.
You can leave behind, your ugly past,
He will help, all you need do is ask.

Only Christ can help you, turn away,
From sinful habits, you had each day,
When He reaches down, He’ll lift you high,
And always on Him, you can rely.

Sin will take you, where you don’t want to go,
And Satan will take you, to Hell below!
Just Jesus can turn your life around,
When you reach out to Christ, you’re Heaven bound!

HIS INCARNATION . . . Dec.1998 Message

What a wonder; His Incarnation,
God sent from Heaven His only Son!
Christ Jesus came in the form of Man,
This pleased the Father; ‘twas His Plan!

The prophets told of His wondrous Birth,
Do you think they knew, of all His worth?
God Himself coming in human form,
And of a young virgin, He was born!

A stable manger was His first bed,
A humble place, for a royal Head!
His pillow there was soft sweet hay,
God the Father, wanted it that way!

God sent His Son as a small Baby,
And Christ came; His Father to obey!
But no longer a helpless Babe is He,
He is a Man of great victory!

He came to this Earth that we might live,
His holy, precious life, He did give!
Accepting Him gives life eternally,
Humble yourself, receive victory!

His love is higher than Mt. Everest,
Withstanding time, and surviving all tests.
Higher than the stars, so far above,
Is our Lord Jesus’ awesome love.

His love is deeper, than the ocean floor,
Enduring the cross for us, and much more.
Deeper than the deepest pit, far below,
Is the love of Jesus, that He bestows.

His love is wider, than east is from the west,
Persevering with wondrous steadfastness.
Wider than the width of the heavens so high,
On our dear Saviour’s love, we can rely.

His love is something no one can explain,
He died for us, in agonizing pain.
No matter what, His love is always there,
His love is compassion, concern and care.

Lord, You have promised, to ever present be,
For where Your loving presence is, grief will surely flee!
Let me realize, that come weal or come woe,
The joy that abides within, will be a constant flow!

My precious Saviour, will always comfort be,
For He took sin away, and set my troubled soul free!
His Kingdom of love, is deep within my heart,
And His loving Presence, comfort does impart!

Be it gladness or sorrow; what e’er may betide,
I have great peace, for I know He does abide!
In quiet confidence; His strength I truly know,
For I know deep down inside; He’ll never tell me “No.”

His loving Presence, gives hope of what will be,
For I have His Promise, of life eternally!

For He is my Shepherd, and I’m a sheep within His fold!

He did create with his Mighty Hand,
All of the waters, and all the lands.
He created the grass, trees and flowers,
With His Mighty Hand, filled with power.

Man did wickedness, continually,
Evils of sin, was all God could see.
God brought a flood, to cover the land,
By the awesome power of His mighty Hand.

He did cause confusion of tongues,
When Babel’s tower was barely begun.
By the awesome, Mighty Hand of God,
He scattered people the world abroad.

Sodom and Gomorrah in its day,
Was nothing but a wicked display.
By the Mighty Hand of God alone,
Destruction came, by fire and brimstone.

By His mighty Hand, He parted the sea,
Giving the Israelites victory.
All God’s people passed thru’ on dry ground,
The Lord’s power is vastly profound!

By His Mighty Hand, Jesus became Man,
Fulfilling salvation’s only plan.
God sent His Son, that all might believe,
By trusting Christ, eternal life we receive.

Jesus went to the Cross, for me and you,
Dying for us, out of love so true.
But --- Jesus lives! by God’s Mighty Hand!
To grant eternal life in Heav’n’s land.

Innocent and pure as a lily fair,
Sacrificed His All; my sins to bear!
With a ‘cat of nine tails,’ they did scourge,
For all my sins, He wanted to purge!

Thorns at His Temples, did gore and gash,
His Back was bloody, from the whip’s lash!
Streams of Blood flow’d, from His ev’ry Part,
But streams of love flow’d, from His tender Heart!

By His many stripes, I have been healed,
And by His awesome Spirit, I am sealed!
His agonizing love, shows so clear,
He loves us deeply; we’ve nought to fear!

O How patient our dear Saviour stands,
Waiting to break sin’s strong, evil bands!
But most insult out Lord’s loving case,
They reject Him; they spit in His Face!

His love is mirrored to one and all,
But by the way He’s treated, I’m appalled!
He didn’t have to die on that tree,
Yet He left Heav’n’s glory, for you and me!

His Name is the Name of all Majesty,
Christ Jesus, the King of Eternity.
Yet He humbled Himself, for all the world,
As He hung on the cross, great love unfurl’d.

His Name is well known, in lands far and near,
Even devils know it, trembling in fear.
Yet our gracious Saviour shows how He cares,
He never forsakes, He’s always there.

His Name is on the lips of all His own,
And all who accept Him, His Blood atones.
Yet millions reject Him, and turn away,
He doesn’t come to their mind, any day.

His Name is Great Judge, just and almighty,
From His Presence that day, you cannot flee.
Yet most people stay on that Hell-bound path,
Not thinking that they will face His wrath.

His Name is the Name of all Majesty,
Christ Jesus whom God sent, for you and me.
Yet most won’t believe and trust in this Man,
God the Father’s only salvation Plan.

His Name is the sweetest name, any where,
This humble Jesus, who shows us He cares.
Turn to Him now, and on His Name believe,
And a mansion in Heav’n, you shall receive.

John 1:12-13; 3:3, 15-18, 36; 14:1-6; 1 John 5:10-12.

He can see way deep within your heart,
He knows the ending. before you start.
Your heart, to Him, is an open book,
Love, hatred, good, bad; won’t be mistook.

What you think of Him, He knows exactly,
He can see your heart; ‘tis no mystery.
He knows if serving Him is your desire,
He knows all your thoughts that do transpire.

‘Fore words are spoken, He knows what you’ll say,
He can see truth or lies your heart displays.
He knows your thoughts, you can’t hide ev’n one,
He knows each time, wickedness you shun.

He knows when you willingly serve Him,
He knows when great doubts make you feel grim.
He knows when your faith drops or soars,
He knows when you should love others more.

He knows if you are hateful or kind,
He sees when to other’s needs you are blind.
Each time you lose your temper, He knows.
Your hurried impatience, clearly shows.

He knows when you’re glad, or when you mourn,
He sees when sorrow makes you forlorn.
He knows when contentment fills your soul,
He knows when you truly give Him control.

He hears you, every time that you pray,
He knows if you praise Him every day.
He knows if you truly want Him to come,
He knows all things; He has endless wisdom!

I write poetry at God’s command,
His words just seem to flow thru’ my hand.
I take no credit, nor want any,
But give praise to my God, of eternity.

The poems have touched, so many hearts,
Some words tender, some cut like darts.
They’ve been called “miracles” by more than one,
I give thanks to, and praise God’s own Son.

Most of the poems come in the dark night,
When the words come, they’re bright as sunlight.
In the quiet, I feel God so near,
I’ll praise You always, my Saviour, dear.

The poems are a gift, God has given me,
And I give them to others, willingly.
I’m simply His servant, now and always,
I’ll thank and praise Him, all my days.

Christ was the “Lamb” who died on the Cross,
Without His death, we ALL would be lost!
Without spot or blemish; He was sin free,
He shed His precious Blood, for you and me.

Just His precious Blood can save your soul,
For of Heav’n, only He has control.
If you try to gain Heav’n on your own,
The gate of Hell to you will be shown.

Only His precious Blood, blemish free,
Can save from dark Hell, both you and me.
Only God’s “Lamb” can take sin away,
He’ll make us clean, for Heaven some day.

We can’t obtain the key to Heav’n’s gate,
Not by works we do, whether small or great!
Only His precious Blood turns that key,
To eternal life, for you and me.

Please don’t turn your back on our dear Lord,
He’s our ONLY Saviour; don’t discard!
Don’t reject His wondrous, precious Blood,
Instead, be cleansed, by this great Flood!

Turn to Jesus, please do it today,
If Heav’n’s your goal, there’s NO other way!
Only His precious Blood can save you,
Believe and accept; He will rescue.

The precious Blood of Christ cleanses me,
From the burden of sin --- I am free!
The Truth, He alone, has freed my soul,
In all sin and death, Christ has control.

Jesus’ precious Blood; most do despise,
Ones ‘of the world’ are truly unwise!
They trample God’s Son beneath their feet,
They’re headed for Hell; its fires and heat!

Precious Blood, of our Saviour and Lord,
Is something, ev’ryone can afford.
The ‘gift’ it buys: life eternally,
For “whosoever,” that’s you and me!

Just His precious Blood, can justify,
Declared ‘not guilty’ in God’s eyes.
Removed from us is God’s great wrath,
It opens the way to a friendly path.

His precious Blood, from the Cross did flow,
Cleansing all who humbly kneel, below.
It will cleanse of all unrighteousness,
When we accept Jesus, God will bless.

Have you been washed in that wondrous Flood?
Sins are removed by His precious Blood.
Go to His Cross, and there humbly kneel,
And His precious Blood your soul will heal!

This earthly life will always be bright,
When our hearts, by Jesus, are made right.
If we walk where He guides us, each day,
Burdens will be lifted, along the way.

If we were to walk, on a city street,
That’s O so busy, with so many feet,
He’s there, no matter how huge the crowd,
And His Voice is soft, tho’ theirs is loud.

If you walk on a lone mountain path,
Out away from man’s, unholy wrath.
All you hear is a bird’s cheery song,
His Presence is there, as you stroll along.

No matter where you go, or what you do,
His Presence will always be with you.
An awesome feeling, to know He’s there,
His amazing grace, shows He does care.

His Presence, so much peace provides,
For we know He’ll always lead and guide.
His Presence, is from God, a blessing true,
A great privilege we have, me and you.

If you don’t know Jesus, you miss so much,
You’ll never know His love, or tender touch.
The bliss of Heaven, you will never see,
For Christ Jesus, holds Heaven’s only key.

Do you want His Presence, e’er so near?
Do you want Him, to comfort and cheer?
Open the door, to your heart today,
And Jesus will help you with each new day.

Tho’ I may live only one more hour,
I trust the Lord Jesus’ saving pow’r.
He made a Promise, with Him I’ll be,
In His heav’nly home, eternally.

My Saviour can’t lie; so I have no fear,
I feel His Presence, e’er so near.
He promis’d He’d not forsake nor leave,
So why should my poor, heart and soul grieve?

He promis’d one day He’d resurrect,
This vile body, to one so perfect.
I’ll be like Him, in the blink of an eye,
On all His Promises, we can rely!

His angels will carry us to Heav’n,
Comfort comes, from Promises He’s giv’n!
Absent from the body, present with the Lord,
This priceless Truth comes from God’s Holy Word!

If we know Jesus, we have access,
To the gates of Heav’n; ‘tis a Promise!
We need not ever, have any fear,
For the comfort of Christ, is always near.

Do you one day want to see God’s Face?
Then you must receive His saving grace!
By our faith, we must trust and believe,
Then wondrous salvation we achieve!

His saving grace can relieve all fear,
But just thru’ our faith, will it appear!
Trust and believe God with all your heart,
His saving grace makes all fears depart!

Tho’ many burdens and trials we face,
Our God is there, with His saving grace!
We’ll encounter temptations ev’ry day,
But God’s saving grace, He does portray.

The devil does lay some crafty snares,
But God’s saving grace is always there!
Tho’ backs are bent ‘neath a heavy load,
Praise Him! Saving grace, He has bestow’d!

Of His saving grace, we’re NOT worthy,
Yet faith brings it, to both you and me!
His saving grace, a ‘GIFT’, beyond compare,
He gives abundantly, because He cares!

With many thousands of saints attending!
Great will be the triumph of victory,
On Earth Christ shall reign, o’er you and me!

Ev’ry eye shall behold His majesty,
This One who was nail’d to Calv’r’y’s tree.
When they see Messiah, they’ll wail and mourn,

Surrounded by wolves, are the Lord’s sheep,
But we have a ‘Shepherd’ who never sleeps.
Safe in the fold, for He is the ‘Door’,
He keeps us from harm Satan has in store.

We are His sheep, soiled and dirty,
But we are His, for eternity.
We can’t do anything on our own,
Without our ‘Shepherd’ we’d only groan.

He gives food and rest in green pastures,
He’ll lead us beside calm, still waters.
Just He, our soul can refresh and restore,
And guide us gently home to Heav’n’s shore.

We are just like sheep, who have much fear,
We turn and run, when danger comes near.
With His rod and staff, our Shepherd’s there,
He comforts and leads, He truly cares.

If you don’t know our Shepherd today,
His own precious life, for you, He did pay.
Whoever you are, or where you’re from,
He is bidding you, to God’s fold, “Come”.

HIS TEARS . . . Oct. 1999 Message

Each time we do evil, His Heart breaks,
Many tears He shed at our mistakes.
He wants us to love him, and obey,
But it’s sad; for His tears flow each day.

As a loving Father; He wants to bless,
With His mercy, and lovingkindness!
Many times we stray, and displease Him ,
And his tears come, and His eyes grow dim!

How many times do you make Him weep?
As evil and wickedness you do heap?
Don’t you think that He feels great sadness?
Wouldn’t you rather give Him gladness?

Ev’ry one, of wrongdoing is guilty,
Only Jesus can give us victory!
We should strive to obey, and keep Him dear,
Instead, we make Him sad, and bring His tears!

Ev’ry time that we sin; His tears flow,
We remove His gladness; giving sorrow.
From His Heart come compassion and grace,
He forgives, and all our sins does erase!

“Seek ye the Lord while He may be found,”
And in His riches, ye shall abound.
“Call ye upon Him while He is near,
And in your days there will be no fear.

“Let the wicked forsake his way,”
Evil thoughts and works, do not display.
“And let him return unto the Lord,”
God will have mercy, in willing accord.

The pure thoughts of God, are not our thoughts,
Our thoughts are a sad and sorry lot!
Neither is His ways, the ways of man,
We seem to go wrong, ev’n when we plan.

His thoughts and ways are as high as Heav’n,
So God made a plan, and to us is giv’n.
He sent His one Son to make us right,
For without Jesus, we’d lose the fight.

Do you know Christ as Saviour today?
If you plan on Heav’n; there’s no other way!
Christ paid a high price to save our soul,
It’s OUR choice; Heav’n OR Hell, as our goal!

So long did He stand entreating me,
At my heart’s door, watching so closely.
I would not open and let Him in,
Just kept right on with evil and sin.

Many years went by without my Lord,
I just didn’t care about His Word.
But He was there, so close by my side,
He wanted so with me to abide.

I finally felt His touch one day,
And I opened the door, all the way!
He’d waited for me so patiently,
To save my soul, and give victory.

I’m glad He didn’t give up on me,
O dear Lord, where on Earth would I be?
I’d be in the grasp of Satan’s hand,
Deep in sin, at his beck and command.

I do praise our wondrous God above,
For sending His Son, our Lord, in love.
He made a “Way” to save us from Hell,
And some sweet day, in Heaven we’ll dwell!

His unseen Hand guides me as I go,
Ev’n if the path is steep and narrow.
He guides me safely to the summit,
But I must trust Him ev’ry minute.

His unseen Hand leads me all the day,
Patiently guiding an unknown way,
Tho’ I cannot see what lies ahead,
I have trusted Him; there is no dread!

His unseen Hand, so gentle and kind,
Always loving; not leaving me behind!
Tho’ I may have sorrow, hurt, or pain,
He’ll not forsake; He’ll always remain!

His unseen Hand will comfort when I die,
And lead me to my Home on high.
He’ll wipe tears away, for ever more,
In His wondrous House, on Heaven’s shore.

One day soon I’ll be on the other side,
But I must trust Him, and in Him abide.
His unseen Hand; what astounding grace,
For one day soon, I’ll see Jesus’ Face!

I’m always under His watchful eye,
His love for me, I cannot deny.
Whether I am awake or asleep,
My loving Father in His care does keep.

His watchful eye sees each thing I do,
Sees if my good deeds are many or few.
He sees if I have mercy on others,
Sees if I love my sisters and brothers.

His watchful eye sees just what I say,
He’s hoping my words will build up one today.
Vain, useless words, He hopes I won’t use,
He’s sad when His children, I abuse.

His watchful eye sees deep in my heart,
The place where all good or evil does start.
Hearts can be deceitful above all things,
Just Christ can purify it; what a blessing!

His watchful eye can see all thru’ my soul,
Our awesome God, has complete control.
Our great Creator, all things can see,
From days gone by, thru’ eternity.

His watchful eye can see my mind,
This heav’nly Father, so loving and kind.
He watches all the choices I make,
And never, but never, does He forsake.

Our God watches o’er each one of us,
For all His children to Him are precious.
When we show others love and mercy,
Our God is pleased at what He does see!

HIS WILL . . . September 2012 Monthly Message
When you pray, in the Name of God’s Son,
Do you ever say: “Thy will be done”?
Can you commit, your all to the Lord?
Do you really trust Him, and His Word?

To say: “Thy will be done,” faith is the key,
His choices you must trust, completely.
‘Twill not always be, comfort and pleasure,
But, His will, brings eternal treasure.

Almighty God, who rules from on High,
Wants His children, on Him to rely.
Doubt is something, we must cast away,
We must trust Him in faith, each new day.

His will? or your will? Which shall it be?
As you walk your way, to eternity?
Be wise, in the decision you make,
It is your will, that you must forsake.

When you pray to Him: “Thy will be done,”
You can expect help, from God’s only Son.
He won’t always take, troubles away,
But, His Presence abides, night and day.

To pray for God’s will; many do fear,
Afraid tribulation, shall come near.
But if trials do come, He won’t go,
His Spirit comforts, in pain and sorrow.

God’s will in my life, a privilege so grand,
For I can always, reach out for His Hand.
The Father wants only, what’s best for me,
As I walk onward, to eternity.

When you turn to Christ to save your soul,
Submit completely; give Him control!
The road of life is bumpy, hold on tight,
You cannot survive, with your own might!

Hold on tight to Jesus, with a firm hold,
For He’s leading to the City of Gold!
Tho’ trials and sorrows do surround,
The blessing of His grace, does abound!

Grab hold and hold on tight, to our Lord,
Only Jesus can keep sin’s door barred.
Troubles arise like a violent sea,
Just Christ can stabilize you and me.

Satan will lure with temptations great,
His pow’r we must not underestimate!
Firmly grip Jesus, and hold on tight,
Don’t turn loose, or you’ve lost the fight!

Hold on tight to Christ, our precious Lord,
Grasping His goodness, all else discard.
Don’t be shaken loose by anything,
The tighter the grip, the greater the blessing!

Hold on tight to Christ; clutch securely,
For just He can give life eternally.
Let nothing, from Him, pull you away,
For we must think beyond, this present day.

God’s Spirit shall not always strive with man,
But today it seems God’s forgotten this plan.
But I’m here to tell you, God’s in control,
Of ALL of the world, including your soul!

God grew impatient back in Noah’s day,
With mankind’s unending wicked display.
God set a time limit, hoping they’d change,
They would not listen; from God were estranged.

Noah and his family, secure in the ark,
Were the only ones safe; for to God they did hark.
God’s Spirit had strived with the lost ones back then,
But they did reject Him, o’er and o’er again!

The day finally came when God shut the door,
His patience had ended; He could take no more!
Every soul was destroyed, the world wide,
All except those in the ark; all safe inside!

God will never condemn to Hell any soul,
Until His Spirit has fulfilled His roll.
Striving, convicting, wooing each single one,
Trying gently but firmly, that heart to be won!

But God’s patience one day will run out for you,
His Spirit will leave, His rejection through!
As long as you feel that tugging at your heart,
It’s not too late for you, from sin to depart.

Noah’s ark of old represents Jesus today,
Are you like the many God destroyed that day?
You can be like Noah, all secure inside,
Just believe God, and let the Holy Spirit guide!

HOMESICK . . . Feb.2003 Message

I’ve been homesick often in past years,
So homesick, that I was brought to tears.
Homesick, for a place I’ve never seen,
Excepting that, of glorious dreams.

I’ve been homesick for my heav’n’ly home,
As a foreigner, on Earth I roam.
Thinking of life in eternity,
Knowing that Christ holds the only ‘key.’

I’ve been homesick for my “mansion” there,
Reserv’d for me, by Jesus who cares.
In this awesome City, of pure gold,
All the glory of God I’ll behold.

I’m homesick to see my Lord and King,
In this wondrous land of vast blessings.
When I die, angels will carry me,
To my true Home in eternity.

One day soon; I’ll be homesick no more,
For I’ll be there on those blissful shores.
Lord, thank You, for what You’ve done for me,
Securing my home in eternity.

Hope is like an eternal spring,
Great joy to the heart, it can bring!
Hope is like a well that won’t run dry,
When the Lord Jesus, we glorify!

Hope is knowing we can do it all,
By Christ’s pow’r, when on Him we call!
His pow’r has no limit, nor an end,
It’s such a wonder, He’s our Friend!

Hope is Christ’s goodness, there for us,
And His grace and love, so precious!
Hope is His mercy, ne’er ceasing,
And friendship with Him, e’er increasing!

We can hope in the peace just Christ brings,
Peace so wondrous, and everlasting!
We can hope in abundant joy,
Something no one, can ever destroy!

Eternal life; for this we can hope,
Christ did promise, we need not grope!
Just Christ can give a home in Heav’n,
A wondrous hope, just He has giv’n!

Horrible Dream

I was walking on this path, big and wide,
It was downhill and smooth, as I did stride.
Such a multitude walked the path, with me,
Laughing, joking, and constant blasphemy.

Wider and wider, that broad path became,
Drugs and alcohol, folks of well known names.
I saw many of wealth and pow’r and fame,
Frolicking wildly, as tho’ life was a game.

The path seem’d to engulf, this monstrous crowd,
They were boisterous, and extremely loud.
It seem’d they were traveling, at break-neck speed,
To those who tried to stop them, they paid no heed.

As I watched, I saw something far ahead,
And what I saw, made me shudder with dread.
At the broad path’s end, was not muck and mire,
What I saw my friend, was a lake of fire.

I just couldn’t stand, the horrific screams,
Then I awoke . . . ‘twas a terrible dream.
I considered, what I’d seen on the path,
I also considered, God’s Holy wrath.

I wanted NO part, of Hell’s agony,
I knew I must live, obediently.
I must believe God, and trust and obey,
And I must live for Jesus, ev’ry day!

Can I get to Heav’n with wealth of this Earth?

Can I get to Heav’n by ruling and power?
Can my strength and ability make God cower?

Can my years of learning make Heav’n bid me “Come”?

Can Heav’n be attained by baptism or creeds?
God’s Word clearly tells us just how it will be,
We’re saved by grace, not works, lest boasters become we.

Jesus plainly tells us just how it will be,
Not all who call Him “Lord”, shall the gates of Heav’n see.
You must believe, and trust Him; to hear that bell,
Unbelievers are condemned, end up in Hell.

When I, in great wonder, think about,
Our amazing God, I want to shout!
Shout of His goodness, from the mountain high,
Our awesome God, we should glorify!

When I consider, all He has made,
From the barren desert, to the marshy glade.
From majestic mountains, to deepest sea,
God made it all, including you and me!

When I ponder o’er His majestic pow’r,
There for His children, at any hour!
I can feel His Presence, in me abide,
And to this Mighty God, I can confide!

When on God’s sovereignty, I meditate,
His magnificence, I can’t estimate!
Always right and just, on any day,
He reigns in a royal, effective way!

Do you ever in awesome wonder
Consider God’s marvelous grandeur?
And then realize, that He is your Friend?
For to the righteous, this God condescends!

How high is morals on your list today?
Is sexual lust, to you okay?
Many live in sin and think it’s all right,
But God’s children must flee, with all their might!

Just how high is truth rated on your list?
Do you all falsehoods and lies resist?
Many gossip and lie and wrongly speak,
But God’s children must always truth seek!

How high on your list is humility?
Do pride and arrogance rule your day?
Many think being humble is a weakness,
But God’s children this blessing must possess!

How high on your list is the thought of peace?
Thoughts of hatred in your heart, you must release!
For unity with our brothers we must strive,
God’s children must have peace to truly thrive!

Just how high on your list is Godly love?
Do you allow God to bless you from above?
Or do you let hate and malice rule your heart?
From these awful things, God’s children must depart!

How high is Jesus on your list today?
He must be at the top, and He must lead the way!
If you want to lead a life of righteousness,
Put Him at the top, and He’ll truly bless!

How Long???

Many more years, or an hour more,
None of us know what God holds in store.
All of us have an allotted time,
I do not know, when death will be mine.

We all dream dreams that never come true,
They just vanish, with the morning dew.
Instead we should think of eternity,
Because our time to go, is a mystery.

Some friends’ trust o’er the years, I could not reap,
Left alone in sorrow, I did weep.
But there is a true Friend, who does care,
In all pain and sorrow, He’s always there.

Tomorrow for you, may ne’er arrive,
Today may be your last day alive.
Dear Lord, teach us to number our days,
Life is so short, guide me in all right ways.

Our days are like a shadow that declines,
Life on Earth tomorrow, may not be mine.
Like cut grass, we all will wither and die,
We know not the day, we cannot deny.

Let’s apply our hearts to wisdom each day,
Let’s spend our time wisely in all our ways.
Many more years, or just an hour more,
Not one of us know what God has in store.

Psalm 37:2; 39:4; 90:5,12; 102:11; 103:14,16; Ecc. 6:12; 1 Peter 1:17; James 4:14;

Let’s realize how brief life is, let’s use the little time we have more wisely and for eternal good. We never know from one day to the next what may happen. Take time to number your days. Ask yourself: “Is there something specific I should do before I die? What can I do to make this a reality? Am I right with God?”

I love the Name of Jesus; Saviour and King,
Friend of the poor; Teacher of common things.
He came to live, and die; for the likes of me,
This ever humble Carpenter, from Galilee!

Jesus lived among common folk; was their Friend,
Just a humble Carpenter, finding things to mend.
Graciously healing; the poor, sick and blind,
To beggars and ailing ones, He always was kind!

I love the Name of Jesus; Man from Galilee,
This humble Carpenter, who walked upon the sea.
He had love and mercy for folks of that day,
But He has not changed! so I know He hears me pray!

The Lord of common folk; those on shabby streets,
Brings comfort to all the weary ones He meets!
To those who are feeble, be it their soul, or mind,
This humble Carpenter, will always be kind!

If you are a poor man, and have no fancy home,
Consider this Carpenter, with no home of His own!
He ‘knows’ common folks; this Man of Galilee,
I’ll love the Name of Jesus, for eternity!

Mat.4:23,25; 8:20; 8:24-32; 13:55; 14:22-23; 17:22; 19:1;
Mk.4:37, 43-44; 6:3, 45-52; Jn.7:1,9

Humility is perfect quietness of heart,
Either in a crowd, or ‘lone, set apart.
It ne’er expects anything, trusts God’s grace,
And is at perfect rest when no one does praise.

Does not e’er wonder why bad things do come,
It knows with God, we have a blessed home.
It can go in, shut the door; kneel and pray,
And have perfect peace the rest of the day.

A vast deep calm, perfect peace all the way,
When troubles or disappointments start the day.
At times I’m blamed or hated in life,
But God is on my side, I don’t have strife.

Humility is being docile and meek,
Characteristics of Christ, that we should seek!
We should submit to God’s wisdom and pow’r,
When we do, He is there for us, any hour1

Humility is strength under control,
And for God’s children, it should be their goal!
Cast off pride, for it makes you God’s enemy,
Meekness makes you God’s friend, for eternity!

Hypocrisy is evil that walks unseen,
Especially on Sunday; it so does preen.
Invisible to all, except God alone,
A sin not confessed, so God won’t atone.

Hypocrisy is good fruit, with worms inside,
Goodly words outside, but inside they deride.
Hypocrisy is like child’s play money,
All a pretense; they will never be free.

Christ tells us not to act as hypocrites do,
We should imitate Him, and always be true!
Act not like a saint while you’re in God’s house,
Then the rest of the time, let the devil arouse.
