POEMS . . . G

Gambling With Your Soul

People gamble with their soul, every day,
They do their own thing, and go their own way.
They bristle up, if you mention the Lord,
And they don’t want to hear, God’s Holy Word!

You must not ever gamble, with your soul,
For when Judgment day comes, God’s in control!
When this life’s o’er, and it’s Heaven you desire,
To not obey God, brings you the Lake of Fire.

When gambling with your soul, the devil grins,
For the broad road you’re on, Hell’s gate you’ll win.
Gambling with your soul, is a tragedy,
You do NOT want, eternal agony!

Evil Satan will do, his utmost best,
Urging you to gamble, he gives no rest.
But gambling your soul, is a huge mistake,
You could find yourself, in Hell’s fiery lake!

Gambling with your soul, is when you won’t believe,
Rejection of Christ, nor His Work receive.
‘Tis turning your back, on God’s Holy Word,
And despising God’s Son. Jesus, our Lord!

Are you gambling, with your soul this v’ry day?
May I suggest, you go another way.
That broad road leads, where you want NOT to go,
Heaven should be your goal, NOT Hell below!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(KJV)
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV)

GATES OF HEAVEN, OR HELL’S FIRES, THE

The gates of Heaven, or Hell’s fires,
Which of these two, is your desire?
Most folk have not thought much ‘bout this,
The terror of Hell, or Heaven’s bliss.

Most go thru’ life, not thinking of God,
Just their ev’ry day life, as they trod.
Just the comfort of each new day,
Is in their thoughts, as they go their way.

This Earth is not our perm’nent home,
We’re just pilgrims, as we do roam.
We’re given this time to decide,
Where for eternity, we’ll abide.

God does live in Heaven above,
Where there’s peace and joy, and great love.
Those gates of Heaven have just one key,
Christ Jesus, is His identity!

Without our Lord, there’s just Hell’s fires,
On your own, that’s what you’ll acquire.
Only Jesus has the power,
To deliver, at the right hour.

GENTLY HE SPEAKS

“Come unto Me” Jesus gently cries,
But most folk today dare to defy.
Our loving Lord wants just the best for you,
Yet those who turn to Him are but a ‘few’.

“Take my yoke” Jesus tenderly states,
Always there to help, He’s compassionate.
His yoke is easy, His burden light,
And He’ll never leave you, day or night.

“Learn of Me” Jesus patiently pleads,
But most turn away; to Him won’t heed.
He is so meek and lowly in heart,
He just wants our love; we should not depart.

“Ye shall find rest for your souls” He says,
This ‘rest’ He can give, all of your days.
His ‘rest’ is certain, and satisfies,
Turn to Him now, don’t reject or deny.

GETHSEMANE

On the Mount of Olive’s western slope,
Jesus went to pray, to help Him cope.
The garden was called “Gethsemane,”
O’er the brook of Cedron, on the way.

The usual place of His secret prayer,
Solitude was what, He needed there.
Holy mem’ries there, His faith did aid,
Many heart-felt prayers from there were made.

With Him, He wanted He wanted His friends to be,
That one last time, in Gethsemane.
His soul was engross’d in deep sorrow,
His heart was heavy from all the woe.

To the disciples He said: “Watch and pray,”
But they fell asleep, when He went away.
In agony He prayed, more earnestly,
Kneeling there alone, in Gethsemane.

“Take this cup away, if it be Thy will,”
An angel appear’d, and gave strength to fill.
His sweat was as it were, great drops of blood,
In Gethsemane, was the Son of God!

Then came Judas, this Man to betray,
Drew near to kiss Him, then went his way.
Then men took Him from Gethsemane,
And He died on the cross of Calvary.

GIFTS CHRIST CAN GIVE

Christ can give ‘REST’ from burdens and sin,
Just turn to Him, and relief you’ll win.
Your soul will find such comfort and rest,
For He’s there to help, in ev’ry test.

Christ can give ‘POWER’ for ev’ry day,
That will give us victory, alway.
Power o’er all temptations and sin,
And aid to help us, the lost to win.

‘LIVING WATERS’ can be given by our Lord,
We shall ne’er thirst, as told in His Word.
God’s Holy Spirit, we can receive,
Just believe on Christ, and Him not grieve.

‘LIVING BREAD’ by Christ can be given,
Sent down by God the Father, from Heav’n.
Eat this Bread, and live for ever more,
The only way to see Heaven’s shore.

The ‘PEACE’ Christ gives, is a gift so rare,
Nothing on this Earth can ev’n compare.
Only thru’ Him, can you have this peace,
Nothing in this world, can cause it to cease.

The ‘JOY’ of Christ, can be in your heart,
Such a wondrous gift, that won’t depart.
This joy can be fulfilled in you,
Just accept Him as Saviour, and be true.

‘ETERNAL LIFE’ can by Christ be giv’n,
Eternity, in the bliss of Heav’n.
All these wondrous gifts, Christ can give you,
This He promised, and He’s always true.

GIFTS FROM YOU

Lord, I thank You for the gifts from You,
Your grace saved me; not anything I do!
Lord, I confess my unworthiness,
With a humble heart, I ask You to bless.

NO pow’r can keep Christ’s love from me,
Lord, I’m grateful that Truth set me free!
I praise and thank You for Your awesome love,
And that one day I’ll share Your Home above!

This inward peace I feel, deep inside,
As I truly sense Christ’s Spirit abide!
Wondrous peace I never had before,
I’m so grateful I opened, my heart’s door!

The joy Christ grants is a blessing indeed,
‘Tis so true that He, supplies our needs.
In Thy Presence; pleasures for e’er more,
Abundant, grand gifts, He holds in store!

Hope is yet another gift so grand,
That comes from Christ’s loving, willing Hand!
My mansion in Heaven, waits for me,
For God has promis’d, life eternally!

All of these gifts, will only begin,
When we turn TO Christ, and away from sin!
God gives us His Son, The GIFT supreme,
On Him we can base all our hopes and dreams!

GIFTS OF LOVE

Wondrous gifts from our Father above,
Giv’n to His children, with such great love.
Marvelous gifts of love, we don’t deserve,
Gifts of love He gives, when Him we serve.

One fine gift is His amazing grace,
Our horrid sins, He’ll completely erase.
With our simple faith, His gifts begin,
By accepting Christ, God’s pleasure we win.

God’s awesome gift of peace, floods our soul,
Revealing to us, He’s in control.
God’s spiritual gifts, are better than gold,
And out of His abundance, they do unfold.

Another gift of love from God, is joy,
A deep within feeling, no one can destroy.
Knowing in your heart “I’m going to Heav’n,”
This wondrous gift of love, from God is giv’n.

All God’s gifts of love, give us contentment,
And all of them rely, on our commitment.
We must trust Christ with our all, always,
To receive God’s gifts of love, all our days.

All God’s gifts of love, with Jesus begin,
We must accept God’s GIFT of Christ, within.
Acceptance of Him must come from our heart,
And when He comes in, He’ll ne’er depart.

GIVE GOD PERMISSION

All are vile sinners; God’s Word does tell,
We are His enemies; bound for Hell.
But God is so good; He made a Way,
That we might live with Him, some sweet day.

Give God permission; and He’ll change you,
He wants you as His child, pure and true.
He gave His Son pow’r, your life to change,
Give God permission; He’ll re-arrange.

Christ can make you God’s child, and God’s friend,
And some day you will, to Heav’n ascend.
Trust and hope in Christ, can make you pure,
Giving vict’ry o’er sin’s evil lure.

It’s your choice; to give God permission,
He’ll not force you, to make a decision.
He’ll change so many things, all for you,
Give God permission; and He’ll rescue!

He needs permission, ‘fore He steps in,
When He has it; a new life begins.
Repent of your sins; open your heart,
Gives God permission, your new life to start.

GIVING

If we love Jesus, we must learn to ‘give’,
If we give, we will receive, as we live.
We can’t out-give God in Heaven above,
If we give, He’ll give back, out of deep love.

A person can ‘give’ a great many things,
The more we give, the more to us life brings.
Give your strength and calm, deeds; give your wealth,
Give love, compassion, give tears, give thyself!

“Give, and it shall be given unto you,”
With what you have, it is well, much good to do.
The more you give and spend, the more God will send,
‘Tis how we should live; He knows if we pretend!

GO TO THE FOOT OF HIS CROSS

To the foot of the cross, we must go,
To be relieved of pain and sorrow.
Kneel there, my dear friend, kneel there today,
And all your sin will be washed away.

Kneel at His cross, cast your pride away,
Humbly admit, you need Him today.
Admit you are wrong, and God is right,
Then you will walk in His glorious Light.

When you kneel at His cross; this I know,
Your sins will be washed, whiter than snow.
You shall be washed by His precious Blood,
Sins are gone; washed away by the Flood.

Throw away your pride; at His cross kneel,
A divine experience, you shall feel.
Never again will you be the same,
You are now God’s child; in Jesus’ Name.

GO WITH THE FLOW . . . Jan.2008 Message

You’ve heard the saying: “Go with the flow’”
But you must compromise; this I know!
You’ll adjust your morals, to fit in,
And when you do friend, to God, that’s sin!

“Go with the flow” you say; times have changed,
Don’t submit, or from God you’re estrang’d.
Our wondrous God always stays the same,
Not like us, changing from game to game.

“Ev’ry body’s doing it” you say,
But friend, it’s wrong, if it’s not God’s way!
To go with the flow is just not right,
With God, you’ll get in an awful tight.

“Go with the flow”, that’s the devil’s road,
And you’ll follow him, to his abode.
That road is so easy, and so broad,,
But friend, it leads, away from God!

Take a firm stand for Jesus today,
Don’t let ANYONE lead you astray.
Don’t “Go with the flow”; walk the strait road,
And Christ will lead you, to HIS abode!

GO YE THEREFORE

He said: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,”
To most of the world, this is irritation!
“The Gospel shall be preached in all the world,”
This Christ did say; then the end shall be unfurl’d.

We’re God’s only vessels for spreading His Word,
If you’re a Christian, you must tell of our Lord!
We are not to fear any mortals that come,
Christ said: “I will give you a mouth and wisdom.”

Not only should we speak boldly for His sake,
But study His Word, so we don’t make mistakes.
Our life should agree with the Word of the Lord,
Standing firm on the ‘Rock’, and in one accord.

Our Gospel comes in Word, but also with might,
Partake of this power, in bringing the ‘Light’.
Repentance and forgiveness; spread it abroad,
Jesus died and rose again; is the Son of God!

Satan has blinded many minds today,
Their hearts are so hard; for these we must pray.
Our Gospel is hid to all them that are lost,
Don’t give up trying; no matter the cost!

We surely don’t know whom our God did choose,
So we dare not risk it, for then they would lose.
That’s why we must witness to one and to all,
Lest we miss one of His chosen, and they should fall.

GO YE THEREFORE

You told me to go Lord, so I went,
By Your Holy Word, I was sent!
I love You Jesus, that’s why I obey,
I must reach out to lost souls today.

Frustration sets in; the devil’s work,
But Your clear command, I must not shirk!
“Go ye therefore” You have said to me,
So I will go and serve, willingly!

Many obstacles I find on my road,
Satan adds many weights to my load!
But Lord, I will follow where You lead,
“Go ye therefore” I know I must heed!

Where You go dear Lord, I will follow,
For if I don’t, I would have great sorrow.
“Go ye therefore” You so plainly tell,
Tell the Good News that saves folks from Hell!

“Go ye therefore” is Your firm command,
I must obey, if with You I stand!
I must not sit back, I must not rest,
I must obey, and give You my best.

GOD

God sends the warm sun, and the spring showers,
Both are needed, to make pretty flowers.
So in life, joys and tears by Him are sent,
Our soul, like the flowers, need nourishment.

God is such a wonder, He loves each one,
With love so great, He gave His only Son,
To save vile sinners, such as you and me,
Christ came our sin to take, and set us free!

When you have God’s love, deep down in your heart,
You’ll do your v’ry best, from sin to depart!
And too you know some day, in Heav’n you’ll be,
Love of God, thru’ Christ, gives you this decree!

GOD CARES FOR ME

The path ahead is not always clear,
But He’s by my side; I’ve nought to fear.
Sharp bends in the path; I cannot see,
But He guides me on; God cares for me!

So many folks in life, will deceive,
Even ‘friends’ can cause your heart to grieve.
Things that seem to be right, may not be,
But He shows me truth; God cares for me!

Trials and temptations ev’ry day,
But He is always near, come what may.
Violent storms of life rage close to me,
But what a wonder; God cares for me!

No nagging doubt; just joy and peace,
This contentment will only increase.
From fear and worry God keeps me free,
And of this I’m sure; God cares for me!

God Creates . . . Satan Imitates

God creates, Satan tries to imitate,
And believers, he tries to intimidate.
To be God, the old devil wants to be,
He wants your worship, he wants great glory.

God has doctrines, Satan has heresies,
God offers you bliss, Satan agonies.
The Gospel of Christ, the Bible does teach,
But another gospel, Satan does preach.

Walk the narrow road, and the Lord obey,
Stay off the broad road, the old devil’s way.
In a dark world, Christians must be a light,
But the old devil, is dark as the night.

God has a Son, Satan will have one too,
‘Twon’t be long, Antichrist shall come in view.
The Holy Spirit, Satan will imitate,
And mighty miracles, he will create.

The Great Tribulation, lies ahead,
Deceitful Satan, shall inflict much dread.
God marks His people, Satan will mark his too,
But accepting Satan’s mark, means Hell for you.

God’s way of living, leads to Heav’n above,
Believing in faith, a must for God’s love.
Old Satan’s way leads, far below to Hell,
And there for eternity, you would dwell.

Beware my friend, which master you follow,
Travelling the wrong road, will lead to sorrow.
Walk in Jesus’ light, on the narrow road,
The devil’s broad road, leads to Hell’s abode.

GOD DOES NOT GO TO LAZY PEOPLE

Moses was at Horeb, tending his flock,
To see that “Burning Bush” was quite a shock.
Gideon threshed wheat by a winepress,
When God called him into His service.

Saul searched for animals that did stray,
God chose him to be “king” that certain day.
For his father’s sheep, young David did care,
God called him for none then could compare.

With twelve yoke of oxen Elisha did plow,
The gift of prophecy God did endow.
Amos follow’d the flock when God did call,
And upon him, a great job did befall.

Peter and Andrew did fish in the sea,
When Christ called, they did not try to flee.
James and John mended nets when Christ did call,
At once, they left their father, ship, and all.

Matthew was collecting taxes that day,
That Jesus told him to follow His way.
Paul persecuted Christians with much force,
When a “Light” blinded him, and changed his course.

God never goes to lazy, idle men,
Laziness is something God does condemn.
Are you, God’s child, busy for Him this day?
Or do you sit idle, and not serve nor pray?

God Does NOT Make Little Promises . . . July 2015 Message

God has never, made a ‘little’ Promise,
And God has never, led anyone amiss.
The Promises God makes, are like pure gold,
They are great treasures, He will not withhold.

Such great treasures, that the world passes by,
They don’t consider, they could qualify.
Eternal life, in blissful Heav’n above,
Because God loves us, with tremendous love.

God forgives us, of all our horrid sins,
When we trust and accept Jesus, we win!
He remembers those sins, ne’er any more,
Cast in the sea, ne’er to wash up on shore.

God promises, ne’er to forsake or leave,
No matter our trouble, or when we grieve.
His Promise, I will be with you always,
From our youth to our old age, all our days.

There is no want, to them that fear the Lord,
Such a huge Promise, made clear in His Word.
When our mind is on God, He gives perfect peace,
Peace we can’t understand, that will not cease.

NO one can take us, once we’re in God’s Hand,
We’re safe on the way, to Glory Land.
His immense Promise, life eternally,
NO one can remove it, from you or me.

Not ev’n one ‘little’ Promise, does God make,
All are gigantic, like a huge earthquake!
His Promises are precious, and exceeding great,
Grab them for your own, before it’s too late.

Believe God, for He will do as he states,
Don’t let the devil, your life devastate,
Submit yourself to God, Satan will flee,
With Christ on your side, you’ll have victory!

Tremendous Promises from God:
Psalm 34:9; John 5:24; 6:35; 11:26; 1:12; Galatians 3:29; Ephes. 3:6; 1 Cor. 10:13; James 4:7; 1 John 4:4; Rev. 3:10; 3:21; Mat.6:25-34; 24:46; 1 Cor. 3:14; Romans 4:21; 2 Cor. 7:1; Titus 1:2; James 1:12; 2 Peter 1:4; 3:9; 1 John 2:25; John 3:15-18; 5:24; 8:24; 10:27-30; 14:16; Heb. 13:5; Gen.28:15; Mat.28:20; Isaiah 26:3; 38:7; 42:16; 46:4;
Phil. 4:6-7,19; 1 John 1:9; Jer.31:34; Heb. 8:12; 10:17; Psalm 103:12; Micah 7:19
God’s Promises are FAR from little!

GOD EXCELLS

God excels in wisdom and might,
Creation called for much insight.
From starry Heavens, to deepest sea,
All made by the God of eternity.

In knowledge, our God does exceed,
Knowing what each of us does need.
God knows the end, ‘fore it begins,
Because of this, God always wins!

So abundant in righteousness,
He’ll never break, not one promise.
Always right and fair, always true,
He’ll never lie, to me or you.

In goodness, not one can excel,
Our fears and worries, He does quell.
Generous, and extremely kind,
Integrity like His, is hard to find.

God excels in abounding pow’r,
There to help us at any hour.
Satan will tempt us, and deceive,
But with God’s pow’r, we need not grieve.

God’s vast love, greatly excelling,
‘Tis a blessing, our troubles quelling.
Eternal love, gracious and true,
Always there for me and for you.

God excels in amazing grace,
Loving kindness, beams from His Face.
Such compassion and great mercy,
There for His children, eternally!

GOD IS . . . . .

Our God is love, He gave us His Son,
Eternal life, thru’ Christ, can be won!
God is good and upright, all His days,
That He will teach sinners in the way.

Exalt and worship Him; God is holy,
You don’t want God as your enemy!
God is perfect, without iniquity,
He is sinless, just and right is He.

God is righteous, in all of His ways,
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS, we should praise!
God is truth, now, and forever more,
He made Heav’n and Earth; God is Creator!

God is faithful; His Word we should keep,
There for us at all hours; He does not sleep.
God is merciful; He delights in it,
He renews us with His Holy Spirit.

God is our strength; there when we need aid,
He’s on our side, we need not be afraid!
God is eternal, He’ll never die,
The only wise God; we should glorify!

God Is Good . . . To The Righteous

God is good, to those with a clean heart,
Let not my feet, from Your path depart.
I admit Lord, some times my steps slip,
Help me Lord, as I journey on my trip.

Those who are fools, let me not envy,
Nor lust for the wicked’s property.
Let not my pride, compass me like a chain,
And let me from all violence refrain.

The wicked’s eyes, are as an empty dish,
Ev’n tho’ they have more, than heart could wish.
Corrupt they are, speaking wickedly,
And of oppression, speak loftily.

Against the heavens, blasphemy they speak ,
Worldly pow’r and riches, is all they seek.
Humility, is something they know not,
For their sins, they think, they’ll ne’er be caught.

How? they say, does God know what I do?
Does He have knowledge of me, and you?
They pay Him no mind, as wealth they increase,
As their lust and greed, seem ne’er to cease.

So many shall be brought, to desolation,
As they continue on, in depravation.
The wicked’s image, God does despise,
Their evil works will bring on, their demise.

With Thy counsel and wisdom, guide me Lord,
Let me not stray, from You and Your Word.
Lord, Whom in Heaven have I, but Thee?
When I pass on, receive me to glory.

You are my strength, tho’ my heart and flesh fail,
Only with Thy pow’r, can I prevail.
You shall destroy those, who are far from Thee,
So I’ll trust You now, and thru’ eternity.

THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD THE FATHER, WHO IS IN HEAVEN!!!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)  . . . If you want to go where the Father is, you must go through Jesus!
Are you allowing the Lord to guide you to the bliss of Heaven? If not, WHY not?

Psalm 73:24  Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (KJV)

God is King

God is the Great King, of the Universe,
From His Throne of Grace, judgment is dispersed.
Blessings on the righteous, He does bestow,
But curses on the wicked, you need to know!

Sin in today’s world, worsens day by day,
Yet from it, fools refuse to turn away.
They are all headed, for the pits of Hell,
God will tell them: “There for e’er you shall dwell.”

Before the Flood, sin was out of control,
Just Noah alone, had a righteous soul.
That whole ungodly world, God did destroy,
An element of nature, God did employ!

God tries to warn people, of sin today,
But they just keep on, in their evil ways.
Many different catastrophes, arrive,
And many in their paths, do not survive!

The whole of Creation, is in God’s Hands,
He is in control, of all this world’s lands!
When disobedience, brings on God’s wrath,
No one knows what God, will set on your path!

Natural disasters, are common place,
A tornado whirls and twists, up into space.
Hurricanes, tsunamis, and great earthquakes,
Devastating droughts, and non-stopping rains!

God is the Great King, of the Universe,
He warns of sin, and judgment He will disperse!
If you are wise, God’s blessings you’ll receive,
While wicked sinners in Hell’s fires, will grieve!

GOD IS SO GOOD!

God is good! He’s our Father of mercies,
He forgives us of our iniquities.
No matter our trouble, He is there,
God is so good, He really does care.

God is so good, He’s the God of love,
Always watching us, from Heav’n above.
Unconditional, is His love for us,
To Him, all His children are precious.

The God of all comfort, this is He,
Encourages and consoles, you and me.
God is so good! And He’s always near,
He can chase away all our doubts and fears.

God is so good, He’s our Shepherd and Guide,
All our needs, this Awesome One will provide.
We will never hunger, never thirst,
Our soul He watches, if we place Him first.

Our God is the Father of all good things,
A day won’t go by, without His blessings.
He is a God of amazing grace,
One day soon we’ll see, His glorious Face.

GOD IS SUFFICIENT

God is all sufficient; with mighty pow’r,
There for ALL His children, at any hour.
Just trust Him completely; He’s all you need,
BUT, if you’re not His child, He won’t take heed.

God gives us permanent stability,
He can stablish your soul, eternally.
It is only by His marvelous grace,
That any one shall ever see His Face.

God gives ALL His children great joy and peace,
His Spirit abides, and will grant increase.
If you are not His child, He will not bless,
With these wonderful gifts, that relieve stress.

Do you know our God? the Almighty One?
Do you know His only begotten Son?
The Father sent Jesus, to save your soul,
Of Heaven and Hell, Christ has full control.

Turn your life over to Jesus today,
Only He can save; there’s NO other way!
Tomorrow’s bright dawn you may never see,
Do you know where you’ll spend eternity?

Only Christ has the key to Heaven’s gate,
Repent, and accept Him, ‘fore it’s too late.
If you reject Jesus, I’m here to tell,
Eternity for you, will be in Hell.

GOD IS WELL ABLE

Our God is able to do all things,
He’s the Creator, and mighty King!
He can save us from the fire of Hell,
And in Heav’n, for ever, we will dwell.

God could speak to stones, and make them men,
Raise up unto Abraham, children.
He is able, with Almighty power,
To make the devil, cringe and cower.

God is fully able to perform,
All He has promised; mid calm or storm.
He’s able to give us grace so free,
And ‘twill be sufficient, for you and me.

God is able to do all we ask,
Able to give strength, for ev’ry task.
To do exceeding abundantly,
His power in us, gives victory.

He’s able to save, to the uttermost,
This is something, of which we should boast.
If we come to God, thru’ Christ, His Son,
Eternal life for us, has begun.

I’m sure He’s able, to keep my soul,
For He’s Almighty, and in control.
Christ is able, to not let us fall,
And present us faultless, at God’s call.

GOD KNOWS

Discouragement comes after fruitless tries,
God knows your problem, and He hears your cries.
Into His bottle, He puts your many tears,
God knows your troubles, your worries and fears.

When you feel as if, life has passed you by,
God knows and cares, on Him you can rely.
No matter what you think, life is ne’er on hold,
God is in control, His answers will unfold.

When you do something, that you shouldn’t do,
God knows, for He is always watching you.
Cast out hatred, gossip, lies and blasphemy,
And disobedience and idolatry.

All evil must be far from you and me,
We must overcome, to have victory.
God knows when you’re tempted, He’ll see you thru’,
He’ll speed strength and wisdom, quickly to you.

God knows His children, sees deep in their heart,
Tho’ you may backslide, He’ll never depart.
With His true children, He will reside always,
Thru’ this life, and all eternity’s days.

If your name is written in the Book of Life,

God knows and loves you, and to His Home you’ll go,

GOD NE’ER DID PROMISE

God ne’er did promise skies always blue,
There are times when He’ll send a storm too.
God ne’er did promise sun without rain,
There are times we’ll be subject to pain.

God ne’er did promise no trouble or woe,
But He’ll be with us, His grace to show.
Trials and temptations will on us come,
‘Til that fateful day He calls us ‘home’.

God ne’er did promise roads smooth and wide,
But when things get rough; He’ll be our ’Guide’.
Should our path get treacherous and steep,
We know He’s there, His strength we can reap.

God ne’er did promise life without toil,
But He’s near, and our efforts won’t foil.
Rivers of waters; raging and deep,
Should not scare; for His children He’ll keep.

God DID PROMISE His children great things,
True love, mercy, and forgiveness, He brings!
Strength, rest, peace, and joy, all from above,
Grace and compassion, from a God of love!

God Speaks To Me

God talks to me ev’ry single hour,
Telling me of His great and mighty pow’r.
He speaks to me, so right roads I may take,
He tells me which decisions to make.

He speaks to me gently at mid-day,
Letting me know of His excellent ways.
He speaks to me in the sunset’s beauty,
Showing me of His awesome glory.

At mid-night my great God talks to me,
My heart listens, as He speaks quietly.
‘Tis then He gives me wisdom and words,
To equip me in my job for my Lord.

I dearly love those confidential talks,
For ‘tis then He shows me how I should walk.
He speaks to me in such a still small tone,
Assuring me I am never alone.

When my God speaks, I must be aware,
For He keeps me in His constant care.
I must never, ever too busy be,
To hear His words of serenity.

We must always listen when God speaks,
And our posture must be humble and meek.
We must be eager and willing to learn,
And for those talks, we truly must yearn.

The consolation He gives, is such great gain.
When sorrow comes, and my eyes fill with tears,
Loving comfort I find, for He is near!

GOD TELLS IT STRAIGHT

Christ is the ‘Door’ to Heaven’s domain,
Without Him, in Hell, you will remain.
Only thru’ Christ will you be saved,
Trying without Him; you’re depraved.

Christ is the ‘Way’, the ‘Truth’, and the ‘Life’,
Without Him, evil and sin are rife.
No man can get to God on his own,
Tho’ most follow paths, Satan has shown.

Christ is the only ‘Name’ giv’n to men,
Only He can save, from way back when!
No other ‘name’ under Heaven is giv’n,
You must go thru’ Christ, to reach Heaven!

Christ is the only ‘One’ to give grace,
Without Him, we’ll NEVER see God’s Face.
Only the grace of our mighty God,
Can save us from Hell, as Earth we trod.

Christ can justify us, in God’s eyes,
Thru’ the Blood He shed, when they did crucify.
ONLY thru’ His precious Blood alone,
Can our great sin e’er be atoned.

Do you know Christ as Saviour today?
God’s Word plainly tells; there’s NO other way!
God won’t hide things; but tells us so straight,
You must go thru’ Christ, to reach Heav’n’s gate!

GOD WILL NOT HEAR

From evil, God will surely hide His Face,
Sin of all kind, to Him is disgrace.
Don’t turn from Him, to some other ‘gods’,
He alone is ‘GOD’ , all others are frauds!

Did you ever wonder, why He won’t hear?
His ‘Book’ will tell you, ‘tis very clear!
“God heareth not sinners,” true and plain,
You MUST be His child, and from sin refrain.

The thoughts of the wicked, God hates,
But, if you repent; He’s compassionate!
From the wicked, God is very far,
But, He hears the righteous, where e’er they are!

SIN separates the holy God from you,
All those sins you’ve done, your whole life thru’.
He simply will not hear, when you pray,
He’ll hide His Face; not hear a word you say!

If sin is between you and the Lord,
He just won’t hear you; believe His Word!
You can call upon Him; He won’t hear!
He won’t answer; He’ll turn a deaf ear!

“God heareth not sinners,” plain and true,
Just those who worship Him; so very few!
If you want God to hear and abide,
Love, believe, repent; you can then confide!

GOD VS SIN

Almighty God in Heaven, will not bless,
When all the world lieth, in wickedness.
Sins must be forsaken, and cast away,
If you want to live, in Heaven one day.

Our Almighty God, wants us to obey,
Wants us to stay on His road, and not stray.
But sin corrupts, the vast majority,
And the old devil smiles, so joyfully.

Are you walking, on the devil’s broad path?
The longer you stay, the hotter God’s wrath.
He has a place, all ready and waiting,
Where the fires of Hell, ne’er cease from burning.

Ev’ry day I feel, my duty I shirk,
For nothing that I say, e’er seems to work.
The soul is eternal, why can’t they see?
Those fires in Hell, shall burn eternally!

If you practice sin, do you think you’ll see,
That blissful shore of Heav’n, and Christ’s glory?
His awesome majesty, you’ll see indeed,
As Almighty Judge, if you don’t pay heed.

In God’s Book of Life, your name has to be,
Or you’ll be condemned, to Hell’s agony.
Your soul lives for e’er, you must understand,
Jesus has control, you are in his Hand!

Your sin is not so great, as is His grace,
All your awful sins, Jesus can erase!
If you would just accept Jesus this day,
You shall one day see, Heaven’s glorious display.

God’s Goodness

God’s goodness, is hard to comprehend,
To know the Creator, is my Friend!
This God of superiority,
Loves this vile sinner, a mystery!

God’s goodness, is hard to understand,
Blessings we receive, from His hand!
His watch care over us, ev’ry day,
Angels who guard us, their pow’r display!

God’s goodness stands, like a glaring Light,
Against all wickedness, black as night!
But He forgives all evils, I have done,
When I trust and believe, in His Son!

God’s goodness, in His only Son rests,
Believe or reject, that is our test!
Wisdom is to see Christ, God’s goodness,
If we can’t see it, God will not bless!

God’s goodness, is hard to understand,
For all eternity, is in His Hand!
Eternal life or death, He controls,
He’s in charge, of our eternal soul!

God’s goodness, can take us to Heav’n’s shore,
Where we can praise Him, for e’er more!
But if His gracious love, we reject,
From Hell’s fires, He will not protect!

Just faith in Jesus, can justify,
Proof in God’s goodness, we must rely!
God’s goodness, is hard to comprehend,
If we trust and obey, we’re His friend!

GOING HOME

My going Home, could be very near,
Praise be to Jesus, I have no fear.
All the pearly gates, are open’d wide,
What joy I’ll have, when I go inside!

A joint heir of Christ, that’s lowly me,
That’s why I know, Heav’n’s beauty I’ll see!
Absent from the body, present with the Lord,
What a Treasure, is God’s Holy Word!

One day I’ll walk, on that street of gold,
And the brilliance of Heav’n, I’ll behold!
The city is pure gold, like clear glass,
And to this grand place, I have a pass!

Magnificent beauty, everywhere!
I have a place reserv’d for me, there!
New Jerusalem, that is this place,
Where one day I’ll see, my Saviour’s Face!

Dazzling jewels, make up the foundation,
Of this wondrous Home, of God’s own Son.
The sun or moon, the city has no need,
Christ’s awesome glory, is Light indeed!

The water of life, from God’s Throne proceeds,
Tis all the refreshment, we’ll ever need!
Beside that river, the tree of life too,
Bringing food and health, to me and you!

No more curse there, and no more dark night,
No more temptations, of Satan to fight!
No more death, no sorrow, no more pain,
Being a child of God, brings great gain!

God shall wipe all tears, from their eyes away,
This shall be, a grand and glorious day!
Thank You Jesus, for all You’ve done for me,
And thank You, for life eternally!

Good vs Evil

Does the Word of God, your soul control?
Or are the things of this world, your goal?
Help Lord, for the godly man does cease,
As the wicked, do greatly increase!

All the upright, shall dwell in the land,
The righteous shall remain, in God’s Hand!
But all the wicked, shall be cut off,
And in fiery Hell, they’ll no longer scoff!

A godly man hates lies, right is his aim,
The wicked are loathsome, and come to shame!
The righteous shall sing, for joy of heart,
The wicked shall, in sorrow depart!

Blessings are on the righteous, each day,
While curses are on the wicked, always!
The fruit of the righteous, to Heav’n leads,
But the fruit of the wicked, God pays no heed!

The righteous are, a firm foundation,
The wicked are as a whirlwind, God shuns!
The path of the righteous, God does bless,
But the wicked fall, by their wickedness.

The righteous are by God, clearly known,
But the wicked by God, are overthrown!
The works of the righteous, shall be repaid,
While sins of the wicked, make them afraid!

The righteous are harmless, and without blame,
The wicked are vicious, with much shame!
The righteous are heirs, to a mansion on high,
While not one of the wicked, qualify!

Are you righteous, or wicked today?
Are you God’s child, or the devil’s prey?
Are you headed, for Heav’n’s grand beauty?
Or Hell’s fearful terror, eternally?

GOD’S AMAZING GRACE

The amazing grace of God in Heaven,
Has all my sins freely forgiven.
When I believed and trusted His Son,
Eternal life for me had just begun.

I was so deep in sin, plain and true,
Only God’s grace could have seen me thru’.
He sent His only Son to save my soul,
Rescuing me from Satan’s control.

God’s amazing grace, His love divine,
Saved from Hell, that wretched soul of mine.
This love so wonderful, so true indeed,
‘Tis there for whosoever, is in need.

The amazing grace of God freely flows,
To all humanity, here in our woes.
Divine and excelling, is God’s great love,
It flows so abundantly from above.

Nought can compare, to God’s amazing grace,
It shall sustain us, ‘til we see His face.
Just He can save us from the pits of Hell,
And grant entrance to Heav’n, where He dwells.

GOD’S AWESOME GRACE

God’s grace is more than I can comprehend,
This awesome Being, who calls me His friend.
‘Tis undeserved favor, sent from above,
‘Tis kindness and mercy and abundant love.

This amazing grace, to His children does flow,
‘Tis a great privilege the Lord God to know.
Because of our faith, He does justify,
On His amazing grace, we can rely.

God declares us righteous, when we believe,
And everlasting life, we do receive.
A home in Heaven, with our Lord awaits,
Our prepared mansion, is just thru’ the gates.

This wondrous grace, we don’t work for or deserve,
Comes from our Lord’s never ending reserve.
Not one person, is worthy of His grace,
But faith in Christ assures, we’ll see His Face.

Our Lord is merciful, loving and kind,
And those who believe, won’t be left behind.
To His amazing grace, all can access,
Just believe by faith, and our Lord will bless.

God's Books

What kind of books, does our awesome God keep?
Will things be read, that will make me weep?
Will secret things, be brought into plain view?
I think about these things, what about you?

I so oft wonder, about Judgment Day,
I wonder about things, Jesus will say.
My sins have been pardoned, this I know,
And Heaven is mine, not Hell below.

That Book of life, how many names are there?
Those who overcome, Christ, His glory shall share.
Christ shall proclaim, to His Father in Heav'n,
These in that book, to Christ Jesus were giv'n.

Judgment Day shall bring, all things into view,
All secrets shall be known, of both me and you.
It seems everything, that we do or say,
Is written in God's Books, for Judgment Day.

All the dead shall one day shall stand, 'fore God's throne,
And all we've ever done, shall be known.
We shall be judged, by things written in those books,
According to our works, naught will be mistook.

We shall account, for every idle word,
Justified or condemned, by the Lord.
God's Word is by which, Jesus shall judge by,
Did we accept His Word, or did we deny?

For bad works and for good, there must be books,
Judge Jesus shall simply, open and look.
With this in mind, we should pass our time in fear,
For we know not how soon, judgment is near.

GOD’S CARESSING LOVE

Our very soul, God’s love does caress,
Loving us always, He’ll always bless.
Surrounded by His love; His children are,
They’re WHOSOEVER, both near and far.

Caressing love; it’s so very real,
I feel it always, as I humbly kneel.
His caressing love is always near,
No matter my plight, I’ve nought to fear.

I feel this love, when He forgives me,
That sin is gone, from it I am free.
Caressing love, from my Father who cares,
There in a heartbeat, in my prayer.

His gentle touch, caresses my soul,
For this love, I gratefully extol.
Such a blessing, this caressing love,
It can come only, from God above.

God’s Child, How Do You Know?

Jesus is the Christ, do you believe?
Into God’s family, He will receive.
If we love God, we must love His Son,
The Father, thru’ His Son, gives salvation.

How do we know, if we are God’s child?
He gives us His Spirit to abide.
And we must love God, and must obey,
And love all God’s children, ev’ry day.

To love God, we must keep His commands,
This really is not too much to demand.
Burdensome, His Laws, really are not,
His vast loving kindness, should be sought.

Overcoming the world, what do we do?
Our victory comes from faith, so true.
Overcoming the world can be won,
We must believe Jesus is God’s Son.

We must believe all that God has said,
Calling Him a “liar” will bring great dread,
Eternal life comes just thru’ God’s Son,
Without Christ, there is only perdition!

GOD’S CHILDREN

God’s children are under great scrutiny,
To fulfill lustful desires, we are not free!
We must live our lives as Jesus would do,
A life pleasing to God, we must pursue!

God’s children are being watched, ev’ry day,
People watch what we do, and what we say!
We must take care in things we say and do,
For those all around us, watch me and you!

God’s children must live as Jesus did live,
Being right and honest; not deceptive!
Ways of the world we must leave far behind,
We must show mercy and love, and be kind!

God’s children must not covet, for that is greed,
To God’s wondrous Word, we must always heed!
With what God has giv’n we must be content,
He’s promised His grace would be sufficient!

God’s children should not crave ‘things’ more and more,
In Heav’n is where our treasures we should store,
For where our treasure is, our heart is too,
We should trust the Source of all things, me and you!

God’s children must trust our Father always,
For Satan will tempt us as we live each day,
Trials and troubles will come, one by one,
But with God’s grace, the devil we can shun!

God’s children will one day be in Heav’n above,
All because of our Saviour’s wondrous love!
Awesome, amazing love Christ gives so free,
Thank Him this day for life eternally!

GOD’S CHILDREN

God’s children are under great scrutiny,
To fulfill lustful desires, we are not free.
We must live our lives, as Jesus would do,
A life pleasing to God, we must pursue.

We are to avoid immorality,
Instead we should strive, for purity.
Things that Jesus wouldn’t think, do or say,
From all these things, we must stay away.

People are watching, what God’s children do,
They really watch us, both me and you.
They won’t give us credit, for good we’ve done,
But one small slip, and condemnation we’ve won.

God’s children to those around are to be light,
Shining in this lost world that’s dark as night.
We are to imitate Jesus our Lord,
Lovingly guiding those in this world.

People will watch all that we do and say,
We must live righteously, and always pray.
We will be hated, if we serve faithfully,
But loyal servants, we always should be.

With the majority, we can’t go along,
For on that broad road, so great is that throng.
We must be content on that narrow path,
When we walk with Christ, we avoid God’s wrath.

GOD’S CREATION . . . Aug.2000 Message

There is such vast beauty all around,
We can see it, and feel it; and hear its sound!
Beauty mostly comes from common things,
And great pleasure to us it brings.

There is great beauty in which God has made,
And this beauty, never seems to fade.
From the purple mountains’ majesty,
To painted canyons filled with mystery.

All around us, such beauty we see,
Hills filled with cattle, and birds carefree,
Wildflowers blooming from ev’ry nook,
A deer and fawn, drinking from a brook.

Such awesome beauty in ev’ry place,
Bear cubs playing, in blundering grace.
Salmon splashing in a rocky stream,
Puffy white clouds in a sky, serene.

The dewy-wet grass beneath my feet,
The wistful fragrance of a rose so sweet.
A mockingbird serenades in the night,
The glow of the sunrise, and the swallows flight.

All these blessings, and so many more,
God’s Creation holds so much in store.
‘Tis so sad most folks, don’t take time to see,
The beauty God made for you and me.

GOD’S CREATION . . . Mar.2011 Message

Where were we, when God created the world?
Where were we, when the Earth was unfurled?
Of its measurements, which of us know?
Or how deep is its foundation, below?

Where were we, when He made the stars above?
Where were we, when the angels sang out in love?
Where were we, when He shut the doors of the sea?
Where were we, when He made its boundaries?

Can we command, the morning to arrive?
Will our wisdom or power, help us survive?
Can we enter into, the ocean’s springs?
Or walk its depth, to know where it begins?

Have the gates of death, been open’d to you?
Does the shadow of death, give you a clue?
Can you perceive the Earth, O so v’ry wide?
Ev’n tho’ on its surface, you do reside.

Just where does the light dwell, or the darkness?
Where is the place, can you dare confess?
Have you enter’d into the snow’s treasure?
Or the hail, that He sends at His pleasure?

Just how does God part the dark and the light?
Why does He send the wind, in day or night?
How does He decide the route of thunder?
Is it His wisdom? or is it blunder?

Does rain have a father? who begets the dew?
What about the ice? and the hoary frost too?
Where were we, when the laws of heaven were set?
With God in charge of all, we need never fret.

Job 38
Hail: Ex.9:23; Josh.10:11; Ps.18:13; 78:48; Isa.28:2; Eze.13:11; Rev.8:7; 16:21
Thunder: Ex.9:23; 1 Sam.7:10; 12:18; Ps.78:48; Rev.16:18 Lightning: Ex.19:16; 20:18; 2 Sam.22:15; Job 37:3; 38:35; Ps.18:14; Nah.2:4; Mat.24:27; Rev.4:5

God reserves storehouses of the snow and hail for times of trouble. God used hail to help Joshua and the Israelites win a battle (Joshua 10:11). Just as armies keep weapons in the armory, God has all the forces of nature in his control. Sometimes He uses them to confound those opposed to Him or His people. Job, nor we could even begin to know all of God’s resources.

God has all the forces of nature at His command and that He can unleash or restrain them at will. No one completely rain or snow, and no one can command them. Only God who created them has that power. God’s point is, that if Job or we can not explain such common events in nature, how could we/we possibly explain or question God? And since nature is beyond our comprehension, God’s moral purposes may not be what we imagine either.

The Lord questions Job and us, to convince him/us of his/our ignorance, and shame him for his folly in directing God. If we thus try ourselves, we shall soon be brought to own that what we know is nothing in comparison with what we know not. By the tender mercy of our God, the Day-spring from on high has visited us, to give light to those that sit in darkness, whose hearts are turned to it as clay to the seal, 2 Corinthians 4:6. God’s way in the government of the world is said to be in the sea; this means, that it is hid from us. Let us make sure that the gates of heaven shall be opened to us on the other side of death, and then we need not fear the opening of the gates of death. It is presumptuous for us, who perceive not the breadth of the earth, to dive into the depth of God’s counsels. We should neither in the brightest noon count upon perpetual day, nor in the darkest midnight despair of the return of the morning; and this applies to our inward as well as to our outward condition. What folly it is to strive against God! How much is it our interest to seek peace with him, and to keep in his love!

GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

“I am with thee, and will keep thee,”
When God speaks; we should listen, closely!
Almighty God cannot tell a lie,
If He makes a promise, He’ll not deny!

God will never, ever, forsake His own,
He is faithful; His love will be shown.
Not one of His Words has ever failed!
He and His Words, will always prevail.

His faithfulness reacheth to the clouds,
With blessings and mercy, we’re endowed.
Thank Him for His love; thank Him for His grace,
Always thank Him, till you see His Face!

Commit unto Him, your heart and soul,
He’ll then write your name on Heaven’s roll.
He will never leave nor forsake you,
Count on His promises; they are true!

Believe what He says, every Word,
Trust His Son, and accept Him as Lord.
Jesus will save your very own soul,
God is faithful; He gave Him control.

GOD’S GIFTS . . . Feb.2004 Message

God gives us many gifts; all so free,
As we press on to eternity.
Accept or reject them; we can choose,
God’s favor is there, to win or lose.

The first Gift God gives, is Christ, His Son,
For Christ is, eternal salvation.
Christ will open to us Heav’n’s door,
Where a reserv’d mansion, waits in store.

This Gift God gives; life eternally,
God offers to all, both you and me.
The choice, God leaves completely to us,
There is no worldly gift, so precious!

Forgiveness too, is an awesome gift,
The burden of sin, I feel God lift!
An amazing God, with gifts so rare,
He gives us these gifts, because He cares!

God gives us His Spirit, who abides,
And in Him, we can always confide.
“Tis a Gift of God Himself, within,
Helping us to live a life without sin.

Remarkable peace deep in my heart,
A gift God gives, that will not depart.
Wondrous peace, such a comfort to me,
A grand feeling of serenity.

Great joy seems to overflow my soul,
Ev’n great sorrow cannot take it’s toll.
This gift comes only from God alone,
And ‘tis thru’ His love that it is known.

God’s gifts so precious, God’s gifts so free,
But God leaves the choice up to you and me.
ALL God’s gifts start with Gift Number One,
We must accept Christ, God’s well lov’d Son!

GOD’S GOODNESS

God’s goodness includes His awesome love,
He sent us His Son, from Heav’n above!
To save the world for eternity,
From God’s great wrath, and sin’s penalty.

God’s goodness is shown in forgiveness,
Pardon is but one way He does bless!
If we confess our sin, He’s so true,
To cleanse from all wrong, both me and you.

God’s goodness is clear; He will justify,
But we must trust Christ, and never deny!
Christ’s precious Blood saves us from God’s wrath,
Accepting Christ is the one right path!

God's goodness has too, wondrous mercy,
Forever there, for you and for me!
On us all, He has great compassion,
Because we have believed, in His Son.

God's goodness has grace, so amazing,
Salvation of our soul, it does bring!
Heav'n is accessed, by God's grace alone,
By believing Christ's Sacrifice, did atone.

God's goodness, is unmistakable,
And His loving kindness, bountiful!
When by faith, we accept our precious Lord,
God's goodness from us, will not be barr'd.

God’s Goodness

God’s goodness, is hard to comprehend,
To know the Creator, is my Friend!
This God of superiority,
Loves this vile sinner, a mystery!

God’s goodness, is hard to understand,
Blessings we receive, from His hand!
His watch care over us, ev’ry day,
Angels who guard us, their pow’r display!

God’s goodness stands, like a glaring Light,
Against all wickedness, black as night!
But He forgives all evils, I have done,
When I trust and believe, in His Son!

God’s goodness, in His only Son rests,
Believe or reject, that is our test!
Wisdom is to see Christ, God’s goodness,
If we can’t see it, God will not bless!

God’s goodness, is hard to understand,
For all eternity, is in His Hand!
Eternal life or death, He controls,
He’s in charge, of our eternal soul!

God’s goodness, can take us to Heav’n’s shore,
Where we can praise Him, for e’er more!
But if His gracious love, we reject,
From Hell’s fires, He will not protect!

Just faith in Jesus, can justify,
Proof in God’s goodness, we must rely!
God’s goodness, is hard to comprehend,
If we trust and obey, we’re His friend!

GOD’S GRACE

The Lord does shower His children with grace,
No good thing shall He withhold from our face.
God’s grace is abundant; with truth and love,
So we’ll be granted entrance to Heav’n above.

Our God is full of compassion and grace,
So patient; He wants our sins to erase.
He’s merciful and gracious, slow to rage,
Friend, this is what we should use as our gauge!

Gracious is the Lord; and righteous, and pure,
With Him beside us, we’ll always endure!
He preserves the simple; helps when we’re low,
But when we try without Him; it’s all woe!

The Lord is gracious, so good to us all,
And He waits patiently for us to call.
He giveth more grace to those who are meek,
But resists the proud, for Him they won’t seek.

The Lord waits; that He may give grace to you,
This favor is yours, if to Him you are true!
Rend your heart in repentance, turn to God,
In His grace He’ll forgive each one abroad.

Hate evil, love good; be just in your life,
Seek good, not bad, that you won’t have strife.
The law was of Moses, grace by our Lord,
Accept Christ, you’ll be with God in accord.

God’s grace goes far, to reach both me and you,
Christ died for our sins; to us He’s so true!
Thru’ the grace of our Lord, you can be saved,
But if you reject Him, you’ll be depraved.

GOD’S GRACE

The greater your burden, more grace He’ll give,
God helps His children in the lives they live.
More strength will be yours as labors increase,
When troubles overwhelm, God sends great peace.

When afflictions defeat, God shows mercy,
More grace He will send to give victory.
When your heartache is more than you can bear,
God so quickly sends love, to show He cares.

When you agonize, because of much pain,
The grace of God, is a tremendous gain.
When the cry of your anguish, rises high,
God will hear, your request won’t be denied.

Upon the precious Lord, your burden cast,
He’ll grant you enough grace, to hold you fast!
Bring to Jesus all your worries and care,
Go to Him daily, in sincere prayer.

Our precious Lord Jesus is there for you,
Grace He provides is a perfect rescue.
Trust Him with ev’ry single breath you take,
For He will never leave, nor ever forsake!

THANK YOU JESUS!

GOD’S GREAT LOVE

Like a wildfire, burning out of control,
Is God’s great love, consuming our soul!
O, so quickly, as a fire devours,
The wondrous love of God is truly ours!

God’s love is ours; amazing and true,
Eternally there, for me and you!
But, we must accept with a willing heart,
Then God’s awesome love will ne’er depart!

God’s astounding love will ne’er decrease,
And praise our Holy God, it will NOT cease!
It just continues, day after day,
‘Tis the best thing e’er, to come our way!

God’s amazing love is everlasting,
The source of ALL His many blessings!
Troubles and sorrow can’t take it away,
They just make way for a bigger display!

Do we deserve God’s marvelous love?
No! for ‘tis a ‘gift’ from God above!
‘Tis poured out upon us when we believe,
And Jesus as Saviour, we receive!

There’s only one thing that we must do,
Before this great love comes into view.
Turn to Jesus, God’s one perfect Son,
Then God’s fantastic love, you have won!

GOD’S GREAT MERCY

On all who fear Him, God’s mercy is there,
God truly does love us; He really cares!
The Earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy,
Your vast love, grace, and truth, reaches me!

Your mercy and compassion will not fail,
And each new morning, they greatly avail.
You are slow to anger, gracious indeed,
Your loving kindness, I will always need!

You hold not anger; but delight in mercy,
You pardon our sins and iniquities!
Like a father pitieth his children,
You show us mercy; again and again!

Have mercy upon me Lord, ev’ry day,
Grant me strength dear Lord, to go the right way.
But when I do fail, and displease you,
Be there dear Lord, with your mercy so true!

GOD’S HAND

Before any day was, God was there,
With the Hand of God, none can compare.
When He works, who would want Him to cease?
Curbing His Hand, makes blessings decrease!

Arise O Lord God, lift up Thine hand,
Forget not Thy humble ones, in the land.
Though we stumble, we won’t utterly fall,
He watches His own, all we need do is call.

If my foot slips, in comes His hand of mercy,
His loving compassion, is the key.
He opens His splendid Hand, O so wide,
Revealing all right roads, and to guide.

Though I walk, in the midst of distress,
Thou wilt revive me, and give success.
His Hand is against my enemies,
His Hand is always there, to save me.

Once you are in, God’s powerful Hand,
NO one can remove you, please understand.
You are gifted, with life eternally,
Thanks be to Christ Jesus’, victory!

God’s Holy Hand, will also chastise,
Obedience to God, is SO wise!
We are not to fear man, who on Earth dwell,
We must fear God, who can put us in Hell!

God can raise His Hand in Holy wrath,
If you refuse to walk, on His path.
His Hand can be raised, in righteous ire,
He could condemn you, to the Lake of Fire.

Blessings from His hand: (Isa.43:13; Ps.10:12; 37:24; 94:18; 104:28; 138:7; 139:5,10; 145:14,16; Isa.14:27; 41:10; 50:2; 59:1; Mic.5:9; Jn.10:28; 3:16,36; 5:24; Rom.6:23; Eph.2:8).
Chastisement from His Hand: (Dan.4:35; Mat.10:28; 25:41,46; Lk.12:5; 21:11;  Ps.62:11; Jn.3:18-21,36; 8:24; Heb.12:29; Rev.20:15)

God’s Hand can be raised in blessing, compassion, love, mercy and peace . . . BUT it can also be raised in anger, condemnation, criticism, disapproval, hatred and wrath. It is how we react to God and His love that decides how God will treat us. It is our decision. Do we love and obey Him? Or do we pay no attention to His continual attempts to get our attention . . . and keep on in sin, disobeying Him?

GOD’S INVITATION

Everyone receives an invitation,
For God offers all eternal salvation.
Many are call’d, but the chosen are few,
For most reject God’s only Son so true.

Invitations go out, to one and all,
It’s the Holy Ghost, who sends out the call.
Many give excuses, all of them lame,
Only a few, the invitation claim.

God’s invitation is scorned by many,
Tho’ He offers Heav’n, absolutely free!
Great blessings He has; He’d give one and all,
If they would consider answering His call.

God has sent an invitation to you,
He wants you to be His child; yes, ‘tis true!
A “mansion” in glorious Heav’n awaits,
Accept Jesus, and He’ll open the gate!

You are invited to this wondrous place,
Where you will meet Christ Jesus, Face to face.
Heav’n is amazing, with beauty untold,
With its river of life, and street of gold.

When you were invited, what did you do?
Was God’s invitation rejected by you?
All who reject, will never in Heav’n dwell,
But instead, spend eternity in Hell.

When you hear about Christ, and walk away,
God’s invitation you refused that day.
God is so patient, but won’t always be,
Turn to Christ now, with your R.S.V.P.

GOD’S LIGHT

God’s Light shines, but many walk in darkness,
They cannot see the Sun of Righteousness.
Choosing darkness over Light, is a sad thing,
For you choose God’s wrath, ever His blessings!

There is just ONE Living God, Holy and true,
Only the pow’r of His Hand, can save you.
God’s goodness, all around us, He reveals,
Yet God’s Light, to millions, doesn’t appeal.

Whenever we walk, in God’s wondrous Light,
We need not depend on our limited sight.
When in Him we trust, He will lead and guide,
And ALL our needs, He’ll always provide!

God’s marvelous Light, can on your path shine,
Tho’ steep and rugged, you will make it just fine!
Put your faith in Him, He will see you thru’,
Our wondrous Jesus, will take care of you.

Trust Jesus with your all, this very day,
And walk in His Light, each step of the way.
He will never leave you, never forsake,
Let us all of Christ, and His Light, partake.

GOD’S LOVE

God loves so much, He sent His Son,
To pay the price, for sins we had done.
He died on that cross for us, that day,
The Father said, ‘twas no other way.

God is a God, of so much mercy,
He forgives us, making us guilt free.
Into the deep sea, our sin He casts,
Allowing us to forget, our past.

God is a God, of much compassion,
When we accept Jesus, His own Son.
Rejecting Jesus, brings on God’s wrath,
Keeping you firmly, on Hell’s broad path.

On God’s love, we should ne’er turn away,
‘Twould be foolish, on any giv’n day!
Rather, in wisdom, this we should do,
Reach out, hold love firmly, me and you.

Only a fool, would God’s love reject,
On our lives, it can have a strong effect.
Accepting God’s love, is wise indeed,
For God and His love, shall rightly lead.

God’s desire is that no one go to Hell,
Instead He wants all, in Heav’n to dwell.
God’s love, is what we all should desire,
For no one would want, the Lake of Fire.

GOD’S SANCTUARY

Should I be lonely? or for friendship sigh?
There is no reason, for Jesus will supply!
The Heart of Jesus, is filled abundantly,
Friendship that He gives to us, is absolutely free!

Christ is never far off, but instead always near,
For He is within us; a home He holds so dear!
So when you feel friendless, and so lonely,
Consider that you are indeed, God’s Sanctuary!

To think of Jesus by your side, is only partly true,
For His Holy Spirit, abides graciously in you!
When you feel friendless, forlorn and weary,
Remember that you really are -- God’s Sanctuary!

Oh! the joy that His wondrous Presence gives,
Ev’ry single moment, as on this Earth you live!
You need not feel lonely, nor for friendship sigh,
The Heart of Jesus, has a bountiful supply!

God’s Throne of Grace

Thy Throne of Grace, is awesome indeed,
There for our access, each time we have need.
Made available, just thru’ our Lord,
Access is something, we all can afford.

Christ Jesus loved us, so very much,
Yet the hearts of most, He simply can’t touch.
Extremely stubborn, with hearts hard as stone,
Most don’t realize, just His Blood can atone.

To the cross He went, He was crucified,
Christ loved us so, on that cross He died.
Such a sacrifice, for us He made,
Our horrid sin debt, He completely paid.

Do you access, His awesome Throne of Grace?
Do it often, ‘tis a wondrous place!
Christ made it available, to you,
Do it often, if you’re one of the few.

Is the Lord Jesus, your Friend this day?
Have you allowed Him, your sin debt to pay?
Without Christ, anguish in Hell awaits,
You don’t want to go thru, that one way gate!

My friend, don’t reject the Saviour’s love,
Or you’ll ne’er see, Heaven’s beauty above!
You must trust Christ, to access God’s Throne,
Just faith in Jesus, your sins can atone.

GOD’S WILL

We must fear the Lord God, revere Him always,
Give Him first place in our life, every day.
We must love Him, with all out heart, mind, and soul,
Submit your all in all, let Him take control.

Serve God in sincerity; always be true,
Cast away other gods, start your life anew.
Fear and obey God, ‘tis the duty of man,
It has always been this way, since time began.

If we love the Lord, with all that is within,
We will do our best, to turn away from sin.
‘Twill be many blessings, today and to come,
Then too, forever, in our eternal Home.

The sacrifice of praise is the best we can give,
And to obey His Words, that will let us live.
If we look to Christ, God’s one and only plan,
He’ll give us “LIFE”, He’s the only One who can!

If we trust and obey, we shall never die,
And when we get to Heav’n, we shall no more cry.
We must keep His Words, if we really love Him,
Then when we get to Heav’n, all else will be dim.

Delight in His will, hide His Word in your heart,
From all evil and wrong, and Satan depart.
Lord, we need your help, if these things we will do,
Let your Spirit help us, be true unto you.

GOD’S WILL

To reject Christ Jesus, many choose,
But in the end, these people will lose.
God allows each of us to decide,
But access to Heaven will be denied.

God won’t stop you from going against His will,
As worldly pleasures and lusts you fill.
As your independence from Him, you declare,
You walk away from His love and care.

To rebellious choices, you can be a slave,
As you allow Satan your life to deprave.
The world presents many sinful life-styles,
Ungodly values, that only defile.

God opposes wrong beliefs and attitudes,
Don’t go against God’s will, or with Him you feud.
Sin causes harm, what e’er it may be,
It hurts you now, and for eternity.

Homosexuality is clearly sin,
With God it’s wrong, with Him you can’t win.
Surrender to God’s mercy and grace,
And your sins, He will completely erase.

Most people know when they do wrong,
But their lustful desires are e’er so strong.
Sin is dangerous, leading to death,
It’s against God’s will, brings on God’s wrath.

GOD’S WONDROUS CREATION

As the geese fly in their ‘V’ formation,
I think: “How wondrous is God’s Creation.”
God seems to give them a ‘built-in’ clock,
When the time is right; off flies the flock.

The bears seem to know when to hibernate,
They spend cold winters in a sleeping state.
God’s Creation truly is awesome indeed,
All His wild animals, to Him pay heed.

All vegetation knows when spring is nigh,
Trees bud; daffodils reach for the sky.
Tender green grass bursts from its dormant state,
Mankind these things, could never duplicate.

God grants us each day, the sun as a light,
And the moon, the lesser one, glows at night.
And a wonder too, this God of Creation,
Gave us a Way, for eternal salvation!

GOD’S WORD

God’s Word has great and dreadful enemies,
Indiff’rence, neglect, hate, hostilities.
The grass will wither, the flower fades away,
But God’s mighty, pure Word, is here to stay!

Indiff’rence is no concern for His Word,
People must think: “There is no God, no Lord.”
If they’d just think: “After this life ---- what then?”
Friend, let God tell you, His Word never ends.

Some ignore and neglect His pow’rful Page,
Enjoy life; go with the flow; seems the rage.
Have they consider’d: “Is there more to come?”
Friend, this Earth is not your eternal Home.

There’s some who the Word will slander and hate,
These shall not enter into Heaven’s gate.
They’re on the slippery path to below,
Friend, God’s Word very clearly, tells us so!

Some have great hostility and ill will,
They oppose God, never getting their fill.
Satan works so hard to go against God,
Keeps tempting you and me, the world abroad.

As each generation comes, then does pass,
It seems more to Satan, flock all the mass.
More wicked the world, with each passing day,
But it’s a fact; God’s Word is here to stay.

GOD’S WORD

It’s as a ‘mirror’ to behold and reflect,
Reveals God’s glory, we should inspect.
It’s as a ‘sword’ to fight and divide,
Quick, powerful, and wisdom provides.

It’s as a ‘lamp’ to direct and guide,
A light in the darkness, so world-wide.
It’s as ‘seed’ for our regeneration,
It will keep us from degradation.

It’s as ‘bread’ to strengthen and nourish,
When we partake of it, we will flourish.
It’s as ‘milk’, we need it to grow,
God wants us to mature, He tells us so.

As we grow, we should desire ‘strong meat’,
Only God’s Word, can make us complete.
Sweeter than ‘honey’ and ‘honeycomb’,
God’s Word gives us an eternal home.

It is as ‘water’ to cleanse our soul,
Only God’s Word can make us whole.
Better than ‘silver’, finer than ‘gold’,
God’s precious Word puts us into His fold.

It’s as a ‘hammer’, that breaks a rock,
So we surely must not, His Word mock.
It’s as a ‘fire’ in our heart so deep,
We must share, and not to ourselves keep.

God's Word As Seed

Seeds must be planted, or they won't grow,
This is something, that each of us know.
Nothing that we do, can make them sprout,
God must step in, there must be no doubt!

Jesus tells us "Go ye," and plant the seed,
So very many, the Word do need.
We can and we must, the Gospel sow,
But the Holy Spirit, must make it grow!

Sowing the seed, is not an option,
Disobedience, could mean perdition.
'Tis something, all God's children must do,
Tell others of Jesus, both me and you!

Planting seed, of eternal salvation,
Could keep a sinner, from damnation.
It's only our duty, just to sow,
'Tis the Lord's job, to see that it grow.

Some seed will fall, along the way side,
Which Satan tries, to catch away and hide.
These who hear the Word, don't understand,
What God the Father, has clearly plann'd.

Some seed will fall, on stony places,
Be receive'd by those, with happy faces.
But when persecution, does arise,
They turn and run from Christ; no surprise!

Among thorns, will fall some of the seed,
These hearing: to the world's riches pay heed.
The thorns, the Word will choke completely,
Removing the chance, of life eternally.

But some of the seed, shall fall on good ground,
And by these few, eternal life will be found!
These hear, receive and understand,
Then produce much fruit, in all the land!

Where the seed we sow will fall, we know not,
Our only job, is that the seed be brought!
We must always, have faith and obey,
If we want to live, in Heaven one day!

GRATITUDE TO GOD

Quiet thanks from a full heart, pleases God,
Ev’n thoughts are heard in Heav’n, the world abroad.
Pay homage to God, with grateful prayer,
Praise Him always, for His goodness He shares.

Be grateful to God, for all He has done,
Especially thank Him for Jesus, His Son!
Lord, you give me life, grant me a heart replete,
For just with you, can I e’er be complete!

Let our life be sown with seeds of thanksgiving,
Let gratefulness shine in our v’ry living.
Let’s offer to God the sacrifice of praise,
At this v’ry time, and the rest of our days.

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE

A Great White Throne, in the Judgment Day,
With the One Great Judge, no one can sway.
Earth and Heav’n, will away from Him flee,
So great will be our Lord’s majesty!

Those who before the Great Judge do stand,
Will hold all their works in their hand.
These are spiritually dead, great and small,
Each rejected Christ, when they heard the call.

ALL who stand before the ‘Great White Throne’,
Are judged, just by their works alone.
ALL who reject Christ, and cast Him away,
Will be cast into Hell, on this ‘Day’.

GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT

All who have rejected God’s only Son,
Will stand ‘fore that Great White Throne; ‘tis good as done!
When that judgment day finally does come,
The “Judge” will decree Hell as your home.

There’s no panel of jurors in your case,
Christ alone will judge; you’ll stand face to face!
God has a record, of all you’ve done,
You’ll not hide one small thing, from God’s own Son!

There’s a way out, as you read this today,
You need not be condemned to Hell this way!
Just believe God; trust Christ to save your soul,
You can go to Heav’n, get your name on God’s roll.
