Welcome to our web site

POEMS . . . E

EAGER

Eager is this world, God to disobey,
Horrid wickedness, is on display.
Carnal corruption, is all around,
Nary a place, that it can’t be found!
Deut.18:19; 28:15-68; Lev 26:14-46; 18:22-24; 20:13-16;
Rom.1:24-32; 1 Cor.6:9-11; 1 Tim. 1:8-11

So very eager, to disobey God,
So eager to walk, that road so broad.
Fully trusting, what Satan does tell,
Not once thinking, He’ll lead them to Hell!
Ps.119:136; Jer.9:13; 19:5; Eze.20:24; Mat.5:19; 7:26;
Rom.2:8; Gal.3:10; Eph.5:6; 2 Thes.1:8-9; 2 Jn.1:9; Jude 1:8

Most eagerly crave, riches to hold,
Hungrily lusting, for treasures and gold.
Greed is covetousness, and a sin,
Those who choose this wrong path, cannot win!
Pro.11:4; 28:22; Ecc.5:11; Jer.9:23; Eze.7:19; Zep.1:18;
Mat.6:20-21; Mk.10:22; Lk.12:21; 18:23; 1 Tim.6:7; Rev. 3:17

Eagerly, feet run to vile wickedness,
These don’t comprehend, the seriousness.
They feast on bread of evil, wine of force,
They’re speeding to Hell, on a one way course!
Ps.5:4,9; 7:9; 10:15; 28:4;  55:11,15; 58:2; 94:23;
Prov.4:16-22; 8:7; 14:32; Hosea 10:13

Blessed is he, that won’t walk with the wicked,
And thinks of eternity, out ahead!
Eternal life is for, all who obey,
Wayward wicked ones, shall see Hell one day!
Ps.1:1; 2:12; 32:1-2; 40:4; 41:1; 84:4; 94:12; 106:3; 112:1; 119:1-2; 128:1, 4; Jer.17:7; Mat.5:3-10:11:6; 24:46; Rom.4:7-8; Jam.1:12; Rev.1:3; 14:13; 16:15; 19:9; 20:6; 22:7,14.

Grand blessings rest, on the head of the just,
But violence is seen by God, with disgust!
To the righteous, their good shall be repaid,
But all evil sinners, Hell shall invade!
Ps.11:5; 21:3; 28:20; 58:2; 73:6; 119:115; 139:19; Pro.4:17 10:6,11; 13:2; Mat.25:41-46; Lk.13:27; Jn.5:29; Eph.1:3; 2 Thes.1:8-9; Rev.14:10-11; 20:10-15.

Are you allowing the Lord to guide you to the bliss of Heaven? If not, WHY not?
Psalm 73:24  Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (KJV)

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (KJV)
Psalm 18:26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. (KJV)
Psalm 75:10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. (KJV)
Proverbs 1:16  For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. (KJV)
Proverbs 4:16-22 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18  But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19  The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. (KJV)
Proverbs 6:16-17  For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18  An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (KJV)
Proverbs 10:6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. (KJV)
Proverbs 10:16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. (KJV)
Proverbs 10:25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. (KJV)
Proverbs 11:5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
Proverbs 12:7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. (KJV)
Proverbs 13:21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed. (KJV)
Proverbs 14:32 The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death. (KJV)
Proverbs 15:6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble. (KJV)
Proverbs 21:15  It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. (KJV)
Isaiah 48:22 There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked. (KJV)
Isaiah 57:21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. (KJV)
Isaiah 59:7-8 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. 8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace. (KJV)
Malachi 3:18  Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. (KJV)
Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. (KJV)
Romans 2:9-10 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: (KJV)
Romans 3:16-18  Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. (KJV)
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV)
1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? (KJV)
Rev.20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)

EACH SINGLE MOMENT . . . Sept.2001 Message

Each single moment, His love does flow,
Such love truly is a wonder to know!
Unconditional, is God’s love for me,
Our awesome God of eternity!

Each single moment, His comfort I feel,
Such wondrous comfort, ever so real!
Astounding, is His consolation,
Always there, with no hesitation!

Each single moment, comes peace to my heart,
Such marvelous peace, that never departs!
Vast peace, bringing total serenity,
Gone is my stress and anxiety!

Each single moment, His strength is there,
Such great pow’r, casts away my despair!
His strength arrives, when e’er I am frail,
Encouraging me, He never does fail.

Each single moment, grace flows my way,
Such amazing grace, ev’ry single day!
Like a river, e’er so gently flowing,
God’s grace to me, He is bestowing!

Each single moment, joy comes from Him,
Ev’n sorrow, this great joy can’t dim!
For I know I have life, eternally,
And my mansion in Heav’n, is waiting for me!

Each single moment, Jesus does guide,
He’s always near; for His Spirit abides!
My wondrous Saviour, truly loves me,
Thank You Jesus, for Your love and mercy!

ECHOS

The echoes repeat, repeat, repeat,
Deep down in my heart, ever so sweet!
Jesus loves me; He really loves me,
Knowing this gives me serenity.

Echoes abound, so loud and so clear,
Chasing away every one of my fears.
Jesus gives me great comfort and rest,
He only gives me His very best!

Such wonderful echoes in my mind,
Makes me realize He is so kind.
Jesus gives me peace, all thru’ my soul,
Thank You dear Lord, that You’re in control.

The echoes repeat, repeat, repeat,
Deep down in my heart, ever so sweet.
An awesome Saviour, who will one day,
Take us to our heav’n’ly home to stay!

Elijah

The prophet Elijah, folded his coat,
And with it, the waters of Jordon, he smote.
The waters divided, on each side a mound,
The two prophets went over, on dry ground!

Elijah asked Elisha, what I shall do for thee,
A double portion of thy spirit, be upon me.
Twice for his spirit, Elijah did pray,
Before the LORD, took Elijah away.

If, when I am taken, you see me go,
These hard things you ask, shall surely be so.
And it came to pass, as the two men went on,
Time was nearing, that Elijah would be gone!

Behold! A unique chariot did arrive,
That carried Elijah to Heaven, alive!
A chariot of fire, sent from above,
Such a special chariot, sent in love!

Special horses of fire, sent by God too,
An amazing God, so wise and so true!
Elijah went up, by a whirlwind to Heaven,
Elisha saw it, and his request to him was given!

And Elisha saw Elijah, no more,
As he stood all alone, on Jordon’s shore.
He took hold of his clothes, and rent them in two,
Amazed at what had come, to his view.

He took up also the mantle of Elijah, that fell,
And stood by the mighty Jordon’s swell.
He smote the waters, and again they did part,
Elisha went over, his new life to start.

Elisha, now Elijah does succeed,
The Holy Spirit, he shall certainly need.
The sons of the prophets saw him, at Jericho,
They came to meet Elisha, bowing low.

Elijah’s Lessons

Without You, I’m like a brook that is dry,
This I must admit, and never deny.
Lord, I can’t do anything on my own,
But with You, Lord, Your plan will be shown.

An empty flour barrel, that is me,
Without Your pow’r, I have no victory.
This I must not deny, but admit,
To You, Lord, I must completely submit.

I’m like an empty oil jug, without You,
This I must admit, because it’s true.
Without You Lord, I can’t do anything,
Submitting to You, Lord, brings great blessings.

I’m like a dead body, with no life at all,
Just You can give life, on You I should call.
But I’m so much alive, when You do abide,
I couldn’t face life, if You didn’t reside.

A brook with no water, Elijah did face,
But by faith he trusted, God’s amazing grace.
He too saw the barrel that always had flour,
Elijah trusted God, ev’ry single hour.

Elijah saw too, that the oil did stay,
All thru’ the drought, day after day.
And after earnest pray’r, from a heart sincere,
Breath of life to the boy, did re-appear.

Great lessons from God, Elijah did learn,
But wisdom from God, most people do spurn.
We must admit we’re nothing, cast pride away,
Submitting to God, makes a better day!

1 Kings 17:1-24

EMERGENCY

Without Christ, you have an emergency!
Without Christ, God is your enemy!
With each passing day, your sins do heap,
Just Christ, from God’s wrath and Hell, can keep!

We never know when Christ might appear!
Without Christ in your life, you should have great fear!
You have an emergency, without Him,
Eternity in Hell, will be so grim!

An emergency, without Christ’s aid,
For God made a “Way;” our sin debt is paid!
But, we must accept, His love so free,
Or friend, you have a dire, emergency!

When Christ’s Work on the Cross, you do reject,
You’re not showing God any respect!
The Father will turn His Back on you,
A big emergency; He won’t rescue!

As you live, do you have this emergency?
As you walk this Earth, is God your enemy?
Do you want to go to Heav’n when you die?
Only Christ Jesus, can justify!

Turn to Christ Jesus this very day,
For we know not, when death will come our way!
Christ can take away, your emergency,
For just He can give, life eternally!

Enemies of God

To the cross of Christ, many are enemies,
As they speed head-first into eternity.
“I’m a Christian” many of them profess,
But in their heart, Christ they do not possess.

For His enemies, God shall reserve His wrath,
Ev’ry one of those, on that big, broad path,
To be a “Christian,” you must trust and obey,
You must turn from your sin, and go the right way.

The Lord’s enemies, take His Name in vain,
With vile blasphemy, ever so profane.
They talk His talk, but refuse to walk His walk,
They give in to temptation, as Satan stalks.

From the cross of Christ, many turn away,
Apostasy is rampant, this very day.
Pretending to be Christ’s, is hypocrisy,
Judgment shall be yours, like the Pharisees.

Do you say with your mouth: “Christ belongs to me,”
Are you at all concerned, ‘bout eternity?
When you talk the talk, you must walk on His path,
Or on Judgment Day, you shall feel God’s wrath.

You must repent of your sin, and it forsake,
Or the gates of Heaven, you’ll never make.
To continue in your sin, you shall see Hell,
And there for eternity, you will dwell.

ENOUGH TO GO AROUND

God’s love is sufficient, it abounds,
There’s always enough to go around!
But, just thru’ Christ can it come to you,
Love overabundant and always true!

There’s enough to go around, always,
‘Tis continually ample all our days.
To this love, just Christ can give access,
Entrance to the Father, so He can bless!

Enough to go around, each single day,
God’s wondrous love, an amazing display!
Available only thru’ His Son,
When you trust Christ, it’s just begun!

Enough to go around the whole world,
God’s never ending love is unfurl’d.
God’s only begotten Son is the Way,
To experience this blessing, for always!

God will never slight you, when Christ you’ve found,
His love will be enough to go around!
Abundantly available to ev’ry one,
Thru’ the gracious compassion of God’s Son!

ETERNAL LIFE

Eternal life; what does it entail?
‘Tis endless life, that will never fail.
But friend, it means so much more than this,
It’s life in Heaven; it’s total bliss.

A promise fulfilled, it does mean,
No man, nor Satan, can come between.
‘Tis ours, the moment we do believe,
Trusting Christ to save, and Him receive.

Christ promised life, abundantly,
We can claim this promise, victoriously.
A full meaningful life, in His will,
Spirit controlled, with hope to instill.

This ‘life’ is yours, when you do believe,
It starts on Earth, ‘till Heav’n we receive.
Only thru’ Christ, can you have this ‘life’,
Without Christ, sin and evil are rife.

Life in Heav’n is coming, soon I know,
No tears, pain nor suffering, no woe.
Only the joy of serving our Lord,
Loving Him always; that won’t be hard.

I praise my dear Saviour, ev’ry day,
Eternal life is mine, for alway!
The joy and peace He puts in my heart,
And the hope of Heav’n, will ne’er depart.

ETERNAL LIFE

Eternal life, a Promise from the Lord,
Great comfort, from the pages of His Word.
Eternal life, in Christ, is for ever,
Once you are in His Hand, no one can sever!

Eternal life, is by Christ, made so clear,
The Gospel of Christ, is what you must hear.
Eternal life, only thru’ Christ, is giv’n,
Just Jesus has the ‘key,’ to blissful Heav’n.

Eternal life, comes by NO other name,
Just Jesus, God’s own Son, One and the same.
Eternal life, within Christ we do hide,
And His spirit, for ever will abide.

Eternal life, God’s children do possess,
And one future day, Heaven, we will access.
Eternal life, amazing hope for all,
When on the Lord Jesus, we humbly call.

Eternal life, you can have it right now,
But, you must be humble, and to Him bow.
Eternal life, are you Heaven bound?
Or will your soul, in eternal Hell be found?

Eternal Life

The start of eternal life, is common faith,
We must believe this, with our every breath.
Grace, mercy and peace, comes thru’ our dear Lord,
All clearly revealed, in His Holy Word.

Eternal life has just One, Fountainhead,
‘Tho’ false doctrines by many cults, are spread.
Just Jesus is the Truth, Life and only Way,
That you will ever get, to Heaven one day.

Eternal life is a Gift, ever so free,
A Promise to “whosoever” . . . you and me!
To get into Heaven, it’s our faith, God’s grace,
It’s there in His Home, we’ll see His wondrous face.

Eternal Life means, in Christ we are hid,
Believing and trusting, is what God does bid.
Eternal life is surely, security,
Given by our gracious God, ever so free.

Eternal life is a hope, ever so grand,
God promised a mansion, in Heaven Land.
A wonderful mansion, reserved for me,
In the Promised Land, of eternity.

Eternal life means, we must walk in the light,
Following Christ, not letting Him out of sight.
Trusting Him always, let Him lead, let Him guide,
For just Jesus, eternal live can provide!

ETERNITY

Our life is strange in so many ways,
We must make choices, in each of our days.
Satan wants us to stay on his side,
Feeds us with lies, and fills us with pride.

He tells us that all our dreams can come true,
And fools that we are, wrong roads we pursue.
We lie, we steal, to gain earthly treasure,
And we idolize, leisure and pleasure.

Did you ever think of eternity?
Fact is, it lies ahead of you and me.
Only two places where we can go,
Eternal bliss, or eternal sorrow.

Have you giv’n any thought about your soul?
A day shall come, when your death bell will toll.
You really should think of eternity,
For Hell’s torment with you, will not agree.

No matter what this world can offer you,
Christ offers peace, joy and contentment too.
Jesus gives us things that the world cannot give,
Your soul is His concern, as you live.

There’s nothing more important, than your soul,
For only Christ Jesus, can make you whole.
Christ loves us, makes us God’s friend,
And gives us a Home in Heav’n, a grand end.

EVERYONE NEEDS

Everyone needs, someone to love,
In this fast paced world, of push and shove.
We can ne’er give, all our love away,
God replaces it, day after day.

Every one of us, needs mercy,
Because not one of us, is sin free.
God’s compassion, is wondrous indeed,
All He asks of us, His will to heed.

Every one of us, needs forgiveness,
When God forgives, He truly does bless.
We too, need to forgive one another,
God demands, we forgive our brother.

Everyone, every where, needs God’s grace.
As we each run, our Christian race.
His amazing grace, will see us thru’,
When things get rough, for me and you.

Everyone needs, faith in the Lord,
Heav’n’s pathway is clear, in God’s Word!
Christ Jesus, has Heav’n’s only key,
Just faith in Christ, gives life eternally.

EVIL, WICKED PEOPLE

There are cruel people in the world,
Wickedness and evil, by them are hurl’d.
Children of the devil, ‘tis so clear,
Our God and His Son, they do not fear!

Sadistic creatures, they love to hate,
Everlasting destruction, is their fate!
The devil does tempt them, O so well,
Without Jesus, they are bound for Hell!

Satan can depress, and lead astray,
Tempting with drugs and booze, ev’ry day.
He makes them think they are never wrong,
Without Jesus, they’re bound for Hell’s throng!

Satan makes folks think they have great pow’r,
And they are wise, so they do not cow’r.
Wicked, immoral things that they do,
Seem so inhuman to me and you.

Without Jesus, we could be in their shoes,
And the devil’s heart we would amuse.
We should praise God for His amazing grace,
For we could so easy, be in their place!

We must reach out to the lost ones and tell,
That only Jesus can save them from Hell.
We must tell them of Jesus’ great love,
And just He can take them to Heav’n above.

EYES THAT CANNOT SEE

‘Tis so sad, when those with eyes, cannot see,
Our awesome Creator’s majesty.
They walk thru’ the garden, they see the flow’rs,
But cannot perceive God’s unlimited pow’r.

Feeling, sight and hearing, are true blessings,
‘Tis wonderful, just what our senses bring.
We can touch, smell, taste, we can see and hear,
We should thank the Lord, and hold all these things dear.

Sight shows us the colors of the rainbow,
We can hear birds sing; a blessing God bestows.
Warmth of the sun, and the cool, brisk breeze we feel,
These physical senses, are O so real.

The blind man would see; if only he could,
The deaf man would hear, if his ears were good.
Many are they who have cold, hearts of stone,
Choosing to go, without Christ; so alone.

Just our Lord, can give us a tender heart,
And fill it with love, that will not depart.
The Presence of God, just this heart can feel,
Christ blesses us with a pure heart, O so real.

Just Christ can give us a spiritual ear,
Where things of His Kingdom, we gladly hear.
The Spirit gently whispers, deep inside,
From His home in our soul, where He abides.

Just Christ can give us a spiritual eye,
Where we can see our Lord, and not deny.
Things of His Kingdom, we willingly see,
As we trust in His grace, eternally.
