POEMS . . . D
Dark clouds come before a storm,
They are wings God does form,
To carry His will always,
Both tomorrow, and today.
He sends dark clouds ‘fore a rain,
To thirsty ground; a great gain.
Sun must be for things to grow,
But rain also, this we know.
So it is with each of us,
We must in God place our trust.
Dark clouds come in our life too,
Not just me, but also you.
Dark clouds come bringing God’s will,
He wants us not to stand still.
Each cloud has a lesson sure,
If we would the cloud endure.
Look beneath that cloud so dark,
‘Twill be light, thou’ a small spark.
After rain, He sends the sun,
To help our trials to be won.

Dark Valley of Death
So dark and forlorn, a valley I see,
But Jesus is there, to walk thru’ with me,
Each one of us, thru’ that valley must go,
With Christ by our side, there’All be no sorrow.
Eva’ry one of us, must face death one day,
We are born, then we die, that’s just life’s way.
Knowing Jesus, is a blessing so true,
For He holds Heav’n’s key, if indeed we do.
When death comes our way, Christ will not forsake,
Not on that last journey, we all must take.
When our body and soul, do separate,
The glorious shore of Heav’n, will be our fate.
In that dark valley, we’All not have to stay,
Christ will lead us thru’, to a bright new day.
For all true children of God, Heav’n awaits,
For Jesus has the only key, to Heav’n’s gate.
God’s children really have, nothing to fear,
For our precious Saviour, is always near.
He will never forsake us, never leave,
His awesome peace fills us, we need ne’er grieve.
God tells us we can know, both you and me,
Tells us we can have, life eternally.
God cannot lie, so Him we can believe,
He tells us, “Trust Jesus, and Him receive.”
God’s children should not be, afraid of death,
Our dear Lord is with us, to our last breath,
Thru’ the dark valley, to a mansion above,
Jesus will lead us gently, with such great love!

Salvation is a GIFT, free and clear! Eph.2:8-9; Rom.5:15-18; 6:23
Darkness is a symbol of Satan, evil and wrong,
Hell shall be the home, of Satan’s wicked throng!
Rejecting Christ Jesus, means in darkness you walk,
There’s no one to assist, when the devil does stalk!
Light is a symbol of God, all goodness and right,
Heav’n shall be the Home, of all God’s children of light!
Accepting Christ Jesus, means in His Light you’All walk,
Jesus will help you, each time the devil does stalk!
Do you walk in darkness, with the devil each day?
Are you on your way to Hell, on the big, broad way?
Satan hates Jesus, and wants you to hate Him too,
To stay with Satan, the Lake of Fire, is in view!
Walking with Jesus, on that road, narrow and strait,
Leads to eternal life, for He’All lead you thru’ Heav’n’s gate!
When you walk with Christ Jesus, you walk in the Light,
And when you reach Heav’n’s shore, there will be no more night!
Each person is accountable, for the choice they make,
Staying with the old devil, is a huge mistake!
Satan leads to Hell, where you do NOT want to go!
Just Jesus can keep you, from eternal death below!

DEAD BUT NOT BURIED
Many today as they walk on this Earth,
Don’t know Jesus, don’t have the second birth.
These are dead in spirit, do not know God,
They just listen to Satan, that old fraud!
They’re dead, but not buried; they walk around,
They’re spiritually dead; not in the ground.
Our life is based on life He did live,
And upon His death; for us He did give!
Eternity is held in another’s Hand,
Ev’n as we walk on the face of this land.
Christ lived and died, for one and for all,
Accept what He did, and you will not fall!
Dead but not buried; not the way to go,
For this leads only to Hell, far below!
God doesn’t want to send any to Hell,
But reject His Son, and there you shall dwell!
You can live forever, and never die,
And be granted Heaven, up in the sky.
Just believe what God says; trust Christ today,
And you’re passed from death, to life, this day!

DEAD TO GOD
Are you dead in God’s eyes? tho’ you live?
Rejection of Christ, God WON’T forgive!
Arise from the dead, Christ will give light,
Repent, accept Him, with heart contrite.
Are you dead in your sins? far from God?
You can be alive, thru’ Christ, as you trod.
ALL your sins can be forgiven you,
Repent, accept Christ; this you MUST do!
Are you dead in trespasses and sins?
God can quicken you, and life you’ll win.
Believe the Words our dear God does say,
Repent, accept Jesus, this v’ry day!
Are you dead to God? tho’ you’re alive?
God can quicken your soul; you revive!
Iniquities can be washed away,
Repent, accept God’s Son, for alway!
Without Christ, you have no life in you,
Only Jesus, your soul can rescue.
You need not walk around, to God, dead,
BELIEVE God, trust Christ, there’ll be no dread!

In Thee dear Jesus, do I place my trust,
You’re mighty, merciful and so just!
I know You can and will, my Helper be,
So I place all my confidence in Thee!
I’ll take your Promise to its greatest length,
For You Lord, give me comfort and strength!
Into my future; fearlessly I gaze,
For You dear Jesus, are there all my days!
Tho’ days ahead may painfully change,
Your Presence is there; all pre-arranged!
Thank You dear Jesus, that no day ever breaks,
As I claim your Promise, to never forsake!
Brave and bold, I will do what time demands,
For my heart and soul is in your loving Hands!
But I know I cannot do this all alone,
Dear Jesus I trust the right paths will be shown!
Dear Jesus one day I will live with You,
It’s hard to comprehend, but I know ‘tis true!
Dear Jesus I thank You for your love and care,
But especially Lord, for knowing you’re there!

Ev’ry living thing, must one day die,
This absolute fact, we can’t deny.
Animal, plant, insect, fish or man,
All living things will die, ‘tis God’s plan.
A number of years to each, God does give,
We know not our days on Earth, as we live.
We know not when God will call our name,
But each and ev’ry one, death shall claim.
As I watch’d my friend, fade slowly away,
She got weaker and weaker, day by day.
But the beauty of her wonderful smile,
Bolstered my spirits all the while.
Never an unkind or bitter word,
From this beautiful person e’er was heard.
She knew she was dying, but didn’t complain,
Instead of comforting her, comfort I would gain.
Instead of me cheering her, she cheered me,
For her faith brought her great serenity.
She always seemed content; had peacefulness;
As she looked to her Lord, He truly did bless.
Death will come; ‘tis a reality,
But where will you spend eternity?
What you’ve done with God’s Son, will decide,
Where in eternity you will abide.

God gave us breath, and one day He’ll take it away,
We all must consider this fateful day.
Dust we were, and to it we shall return,
We’ll go and not come back, this we must learn.
Every one will walk thru’ the gates of death,
For one certain day, we’ll take our last breath.
The shadow of death hangs over us all,
We all will leave when God beckons and calls.
Each of our bodies shall one day fall asleep,
And no earthly possessions shall we keep.
Our spirit shall depart back to the Lord,
He gave it, He’ll take it; so says His Word.
We die just once, not more, as some wrongly say,
We shall not return to die another day.
Let us all realize that we are frail,
And to beg for more days, is to no avail.
Death is not the end, but the beginning,
Our soul lives on, bliss or agony to bring.
Eternity approaches, both you and me,
Does Heav’n await? or Hell’s woe and misery?
Are you headed for the bliss of Heaven’s shore?
Or is eternal destruction what is held in store?
Only Jesus has the key to Heaven’s gate,
Believe on Him this day, before it’s too late.

‘Dedication’ is a word we oft’ hear,
But to most, the meaning is not clear.
Dedication to Christ is a great thing,
Put Him first, no matter what life brings.
Christ must be preeminent alway,
Domination your life, night and day.
You must live out His life, here on Earth,
Making Him proud, as you show His worth.
We are complete, only thru’ our Lord,
In all we do, He must be adored.
We must be filled with His Spirit,
And our lives to Him, we must submit.
As we journey on our road of life,
Christ is the solution, to all strife.
Dedication to Him, is what we need,
Love and serve Him, and do take heed.
The fullness of God, in us will show,
Thru’ dedication, as on we go.
Poured out in life, thru’ those who believe,
Dedication to whom, you did receive.

Destinations you reach, along the way,
Have so much to do, as you live each day.
And with each destination, you must choose,
The right road you win; the wrong road you lose.
With some destinations, that you may reach,
Honor and integrity, you may breach.
When you compromise; the wrong path you go,
That destination, will bring you sorrow.
Many diff’rent destinations, you will see,
As you walk toward, life eternally.
‘Tis wise of you, when you choose the right road,
For just that right road leads, to Heav'n's’n’s abode.
The narrow road leads to eternal life,
The broad road will bring, just eternal strife.
Roads in this life, lead to two destinations,
Be wise and choose, eternal salvation.
You map out destinations, ev’ry day,
‘Tis so important, to choose the right way.
You’re mapping out, your final destination,
So it needs, your full consideration.
Heav’n is on the high road, narrow and strait,
Hell is on the broad road, thru’ the wide gate.
Which destination?? Just you can decide!
Heav’n’s bliss; Hell’s horror; where will you reside??

Detour! there are bad habits to break,
Please turn away, don’t make a mistake!
Drugs and liquor, can ruin your mind,
It would be better, a new life to find!
Detour! ahead is much wickedness,
You must avoid it, for God to bless!
All sexual sin, is impurity,
Turn and be gone, from iniquity!
Detour! beware of those who falsely teach!
The devil’s children deceitfully preach!
Truly wolves, in sheep’s clothing are they,
Turn quickly, my friend, and run away!
Detour! looming is envy and hate,

DISCIPLES . . . July 2010 Message
Our Lord Jesus said: “Come, follow me,”
Unless we do, we’ll not have vict’ry.
God’s children must be disciples too,
We must follow Him that is true.
Our selfish desires we must deny,
If on Christ’s pow’r, we want to rely.
Our cross in life we simply must bear,
If Jesus’ glory, we want to share.
Christ in our life, must be number one,
Or we’re not worthy of God’s own Son.
Above all persons, or any thing,
Christ must be first, to receive God’s blessing.
Care and concern and compassion too,
We must love as Christ, in all we do.
‘Bout His lost sheep, we really must care,
We must try to get them from Satan’s lair.
Christ’s disciples must be brave and bold,
Tell of Christ; get them into His fold.
In this we do not have an option,
We must tell the Good News of salvation.
Are you Jesus’ disciple today?
Do you love for His lost sheep display?
“Go ye therefore,” He commands of you,
Do you love and obey our Lord so true?
Christ died on the cross to set us free,
Just He can give life eternally.
When we follow Jesus, we must work,
Our duties we simply cannot shirk.
Not all who say: “Lord, Lord,” go to Heav’n,
Just those who obey the commands He’s giv’n.
Those mournful words “I never knew you,”
Will not be heard, if to Christ you are true.
All Christ’s disciples must share the task,
If in Heav’n’s comfort they want to bask.
We must for Jesus take a firm stand,
This of us, the Father does demand.

DISHONORING CHRIST . . . Oct.2002 Message
To dishonor Christ, is worse than death,
Let me think of this, as I take each breath.
I pray His Name I’ll never disgrace,
Or His precious Sacrifice, ever debase.
I pray I’ll never disgrace His Name,
And that I never bring Jesus shame.
Let me not be ashamed of my King,
I want not any reproach to bring.
I pray I’ll never my Saviour deny,
That would be worse than if I would die.
Let me not discourage others, I pray,
But make Jesus proud, each and ev’ry day.
To dishonor Christ is an awful sin,
With God the Father, you cannot win.
Let me never use His Name in vain,
I pray I never bring my Saviour shame.
Let me never dishonor my Lord,
I should walk with Him in willing accord.
I pray for wisdom to live in His Light,
Dishonoring Christ, is a fearful plight.
To dishonor Christ, will judgment bring,
For God thinks, it’s a horrible thing.
We should never bring our Saviour shame,
Instead we should honor and praise His Name.

DO UNTO OTHERS
If you want others not to lie to you,
Then you must speak only words that are true.
Do unto others only right, good things,
Or you cannot expect your life, good bring.
If you want others to be loving and kind,
You cannot to these qualities be blind.
You must show love, and kindness, from deep down,
Or what you receive, may cause you to frown.
If you want others to speak soft, tender words,
Then harsh, evil speech, from you can’t be hurl’d.
Speak unto others, as you’d want them to,
Soft, tender words, they can’t misconstrue.
Do unto others as you’d have them do,
Don’t be abrupt, impatient, or untrue.
A calm, gentle nature, gracious and meek,
Against such there’s no law; this we should seek.
If you want others to help comfort you,
Then you, to them, must be a good friend too.
Quiet and pleasant, with love that abounds,
Do unto others, and friends will be found.
If you want forgiveness, for wrongs you’ve done,
Then you must forgive, if any you’ve shunn’d.
Do unto others, as you’d have them do,
No better advice than this; tried and true.

DO YOU DO TO OTHERS? . . . Jan.1999 Message
Do you speak cross words, when you could be nice?
Do you always TAKE, never sacrifice?
Those that you love, do you tell them you care?
Or go thru’ life as if they were not there?
Our life here on Earth is so very brief,
We should try our best, not to cause folks grief.
Do only what you would want done to you,
A good rule to live by; proven and true!
We don’t know when God will call us away,
Neither those we love; time we cannot sway.
Guard the words you say, and the deeds you do,
Or you may regret , in days that ensue.
If we treat a loved one mean and low,
Thru’ hateful words or deeds, causing sorrow.
What if God would call that person away?
Could you bear the guilt, the rest of your days?
We all need to take a look at our life,
Do we bring happiness? or cause much strife?
Do and say to others, only good things,
You’ll reap what you sow, for that’s what life brings.
Have you hurt or injured someone you love?
It’s easy, in this world of push and shove.
Apologize! make their hurt go away,
Friend, YOU’LL be blessed, as you go your way.

DO YOU KNOW THE ‘CHRIST’?
Do you know the ‘Christ’ who was crucified?
Or are you ‘of the world’, and have denied?
He died on that Cross to save your soul,
He has power, and is in full control.
Do you know ‘Christ’, who died on that Cross?
If you don’t, your soul shall suffer loss.
He died to save you from God’s just wrath,
And take you from Hell’s agonizing path.
He came to pay a debt, He didn’t owe,
Redeem us from Hell, and God’s love bestow.
He came, for our debt, we could not pay,
I’m grateful that in Heav’n He didn’t stay.
Do you know ‘Christ’ the martyred One?
He’s our precious Jesus, God’s own Son!
He died, ‘tis true; but God raised Him again,
Was resurrected; the first of all men.
Do you know ‘Christ’, Shepherd of God’s sheep?
Or is your soul, to Him, fast asleep?
Friend, I pray you’ll awaken today,
If you plan on Heav’n, He’s the only ‘WAY’!
You must know ‘Christ’, our Saviour and Lord,
He’s clearly portrayed in God’s Word!
He can give you the ‘key’ to Heav’n’s gate,
Trust and accept Him, ‘fore it’s too late!

DO YOU NEED REVIVAL?
Is your life as it really should be?
Or are there ‘things’ from which you should flee?
Like a mirror, so clear, is God’s Word,
It shows the true us, and won’t retard.
Have you slipped away from our Lord?
Do you no longer walk in accord?
Like lost, wandering sheep, we go astray,
Lord God, bring us back to the right way.
Have you wandered from your rightful place?
Do you no longer seek His Holy Face?
Like a bird that wandereth from her nest,
Lord, bring us back to give us your best.
Do you have indifference in your heart?
This helps Satan’s cause, in a large part.
O, don’t restrain God’s love and power,
Turn back to Him now, this very hour.
Do you have bitterness deep inside?
It’s Satan’s trick; you’re letting him guide.
Do you speak evil and often curse?
We must not let evil, us emerse.
Let the wicked one forsake his way,
Let him return, to the Lord this day.
Put away all evil with a heart contrite,
Only then, with God, can we get it right.

Do You Qualify??
If you have not accepted Christ today,
May I ask: “Just what is your delay?”
One day soon, He’ll come in the clouds on high,
None too soon, for you to qualify.
Why do you refuse to open the door?
You don’t realize, what He holds in store.
He stands knocking, but won’t force His way in,
When you open the door, blessings begin.
You must qualify, or He won’t call you,
You must believe on Christ, be one of the few.
Have you opened your heart’s door, to the Lord?
Rejecting Him, you simply can’t afford.
Do you qualify, for Heaven above?
Have you considered His amazing love?
Only Christ Jesus has Heaven’s one key,
Just He can give you life eternally!
You must overcome, to enter Heaven,
Victory is only to those few given.
Faith is the answer, to this victory,
Do you qualify, for life eternally?

DO YOU REALLY LOVE HIM? . . . Feb.2007 Message
“I love You, Lord Jesus,” we often say,
But, do we His will, truly obey?
To obey our Lord, shows our love for Him,
And our faith increases; will not grow dim.
Do you say “I love You Lord,” and go your own way?
Willfully disobeying, day after day?
Do you feel God’s Spirit, convicting you?
Yet turn aside from all you know to be true?
To love Him is to fear Him, constantly,
We must acknowledge His sovereignty.
Reverencing Him, we must trust and obey,
True love for God, comes no other way.
If we truly love Him, we abide in His love,
And we’ll bask in His sunshine, from above.
We feel the warmth of Christ’s love when we obey,
Reaching out to serve Him, day after day.
If we truly love and honor Christ in our heart,
His delightful Presence, will ne’er depart.
Jesus will be honored, by the life you live,
When You reach out to others, love to them you give.

DO YOU RENOUNCE HIDDEN THINGS?
Do you renounce hidden things of shame?
That you may bring glory to His Name?
Do you have a sense of immense pride?
Pride goes before a fall; cast it aside!
Are you dishonest; have crafty ways?
Would you cheat some one on any day?
All these things, you must renounce my friend,
O so clear, is the Message God sends!
Do strife and envy and jealousy,
Have a place in your heart? O they must flee!
Malice and bitterness; they too must go,
Renounce them, if Christ you will follow!
Deep in your heart, do you nurse a grudge?
Do you others’ actions, critically judge?
To your brothers a bad attitude show,
Forsake them my friend, they just bring sorrow!
Secret things of shame, we hold deep down,
All unseen to others, cause God to frown!
We must renounce all these shameful things,
If we truly want, God’s priceless blessings!

2 Cor. 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. [KJV] . . . We must put aside all secret and shameful deeds; we must not act with deceit and we must not falsify the Holy Word of God. We must live in the full light of the Truth, for we live in God's sight.
DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE? . . . May 1997 Message
Do you see what I see in our Lord?
Such great love that He will not retard.
This wondrous love, to us freely giv’n,
Just thru’ this love, can we attain Heav’n.
Do you see what I see in His Cross?
Without His death, we’d be total dross.
Our vile sin would mount, causing God’s wrath,
Without His Cross, we’d be on Hell’s path.
Do you see what I see in His Blood?
Precious and holy; a cleansing flood.
As you kneel in sheer humility,
His Blood will cleanse you and make you free.
Do you see what I see in His scars?
He paid the price; death should have been ours.
Those nails did not hold Him to that tree,
Love held Him there, love for you and me.
Do you feel what I feel in my heart?
Such joy and peace, it won’t e’er depart.
Contentment like this, just He can give,
Such wonderful blessings as we live.
Do you see what I see in the world?
Wickedness by Satan, being hurled.
Christ will come in the clouds one day soon,
We must be ready; night, morn, or noon.

DO YOU TELL HIM? . . . Sept.2004 Message
Do you tell the Lord that you love Him?
In bright sunshine, or the shadows dim?
Do you tell Him you appreciate,
All His blessings, so awesome and great?
Do you tell Jesus when you feel low?
Or when you are sad and have sorrow?
Do you tell Him when all things go wrong?
Do you ask Him to help make you strong?
Do you tell Him when Satan tempts you?
Or when you are troubled, thru’ and thru’?
Do you tell Jesus when doubts arise?
Or times when you want to compromise?
So many things in our life take place,
We truly need His amazing grace.
But you must go to Him ev’ry day,
Ask Him to help you in ev’ry way.
But too, we must tell Him that we care,
Tell Him we love Him each day in pray’r.
Be grateful, thank Him, for all He’s done,
This wondrous Man who is God’s own Son.
Christ is the Vine, I am just a branch,
Without His strength, I don’t have a chance.
He nourishes me, day after day,
And guides me with His Light, on my way.
I must tell Jesus, I care for Him,
Both in bright sunlight, and shadows dim.
A personal fellowship with Him we need,
‘Tis our guarantee that our pray’r He’ll heed.

DO YOU THANK HIM?? . . . November 2014 Message
Do you thank Him for His wondrous love?
Do you praise our God in Heaven above?

Do you thank Him for His love each day?
Do you praise Him for His excellent ways?
Are you glad He’s called you to be His own?
Only God could make such great love known!
Do you thank Him for His amazing grace?
Do you praise Him for your sins erased?
Do you show honor to His Holy Name?
God gives great promises we can claim!
Do you thank Him for His love divine?
Do you praise Him for His care so fine?
Do you go to Him in heart-felt prayer?
For ALL His children, He’s always there!
His wonderful love is everlasting,
A wondrous ‘gift’ from Him; such a blessing!

DO YOU THINK ABOUT HELL?
Friend, did you ever have any thoughts about Hell?
This place of torture, where so many shall dwell?
Many do not believe, there is such a place,
But it does exist, way deep down in space!
The New Testament often of it does speak,
Over two hundred times, and none very weak!
God keeps on warning us, o’er and o’er again,
Wants us to avoid all the distress and pain.
If you were traveling one of Earth’s highways,
And you saw that many warning along the way,
What would you do, plunge on directly ahead?
Or, turn around, and find a good road instead?
God has put up many warning signs ahead,
He’s trying to point you, away from Hell’s dread!
But if you insist, and follow the wrong road,
God has only one choice: “Hell as your abode.”
“Am I trying to scare you?” this you might ask,
I certainly hope so, for this is my task.
Jesus taught more on Hell, than any other thing,
So what I do say, I have hopes it will sting.
If you have not thought about Hell, please do it now!
Heaven should be your goal, and I’ll teach you how!
God made just one Plan, to save our souls from Hell,
Believe, trust Jesus, and in Heaven you shall dwell!

DOES GOD SAY??
Does God say, ev’ry one will be healed?
NO where in God’s Word, is this reveal’d.
So many false doctrines, running wild,
ALL you will discard, if you’re God’s child!
Does God say, ev’ry one will be rich?
This is but one, of the false teacher’s pitch.
A big no-no, is the love of money,
You must beware, of the wealth heresy!
Does God say, “Speak in tongues or you’re not saved”?
Do not list’ to these wolves, don’t be betray’d.
This heresy is NO where, in God’s Word,
NO where is this taught, by our dear Lord!
Does God say, that visions we will receive?

Does God say, that ev’ry one goes to Heav’n?
Universalism is evil leaven.
Most will go to Hell, is what God does say,
Wicked leaven leads people, the wrong way.

DOING GOD’S WILL
Doing God’s will is simply pleasing Him,
Honor Him! let worldly things be dim.
We are to fear the Lord God always,
With reverence and awe, all our days.
We are to love God with all our heart,
From all evil and sin, we must depart.
Serve the Lord with all your heart and soul,
Remember always, He’s in control.
We are to walk in all His pure ways,
This is what He requires all our days.
Work no evil or ill to another,
Have mercy and love for your brother.
God wants the sacrifice of praise and love,
Always thank and praise our God above.
He blesses us daily in many ways,
All He asks, is for us to obey.
Do good, and to communicate, forget not,
For Christ on the Cross, our soul bought.
We must tell others, just Christ can save,
Without Jesus, they will be depraved.
Fear, love, and serve God; ‘tis our duty,
If we don’t, we are His enemy.
Always strive to do God’s will,
Please Him; your life He will bless and fill.

He wakens me gently; ‘tis no fright.
The ‘words’ that He gives, dance thru’ my mind,
‘Words’ that without Him, I’d never find!
I cannot know why, He wants me to write,
But I have learned, God not to fight!
We all must serve Him willingly,
Or friend, we won’t ever be happy.
Commit your life to Him, all the way,
Do not hold ought back, do not sway.
Live life, with God in your heart’s first place,
And He will always, grant love and grace.
Submit to God; do only His will,
Ask Him, with His Spirit , you to fill.
Without His help, you’re sure to go wrong,
Only with Him, will you e’er be strong.
Turn yourself over to the Lord God,
Give Him only your best, as you trod.

DON’T BELLYACHE . . . October 2014 Message
Do you gripe and complain when things go awry?
Did you consider instead, to look to the sky?
Our help cometh from our Creator, the Lord,
Turn unto Him, and your prayer will be heard.
Do you ever find yourself down in the dumps?
Do others around you think you are a grump?
Our help cometh in the Name of the Lord,
Just call on Him, and things won’t be so hard.
Do you feel sorry for yourself, time and again?
He’s always cared for you, from way back when.
God hasn’t promised us an easy path to go,
But He will be with us; a blessing to know!
Do you tell God what you think He should do?
Do you think He’s not smart enough to construe?
He knows better that you ever can or will,
Why don’t you turn to Him, and learn to be still?
We should never question His Almighty will,
Let Him have His way; He will fill the bill!
“He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased,”
All His children He does love, and tries to appease.
His Book states: “Ye shall not tempt the Lord thy God,”
We are not to murmur, says His Holy Word.
So we should not bellyache, gripe or complain.
It could be so much worse, then think of the strain!
All things work together for good, if you love God,
It’s not good that we God tempt, and always prod.
He will only give His very best to you,
Times of stress makes us strong, He is always true.

Believe in Jesus; and you have overcome!
Jesus did come by water and by Blood,
Just believe; and you’re cleansed by the Flood.

Doom's Day For Unbelievers
For those who don't believe God, Doom's Day is near,
The sorrow of today's times, God is NOT feared!
Hypocrites, please know, that Judgment Day looms,
Not believing God, brings the harshest doom!
WHY do people clutch, damnable heresies?
That will only lead them, to Hell's agony?
All souls are eternal, WHY don't you believe?
WHY go to the Lake of Fire, and for e'er grieve?
"A license to sin" is false, thru' and thru',
Christ gives NO permit to sin, to me OR you!
Biblical repentance, is what God desires,
And that's what will keep you, from the Lake of Fire!
Salvation ia a FREE GIFT, from God's grace,
NO work we do will e'er, let us see Christ's Face!
Christ has pow'r, to put us in God's family,
And THAT friend, gives us, life eternally!
You either believe God's Word, or you don't,
And old Satan blinds eyes, so that you won't!
God tells us, eternal life will always be,
Sin will NOT take it away, from you or me!
Christ paid our sin debt, in full He did pay!
So we can have, eternal life some day!
Yes! We still sin! But we can make it right!
Confess it to God, and be pleasing in His sight!
Confessing sin means, God is right and we are wrong!
Agreeing with God, takes us from Satan's throng!
Eternal life means, just what it tells,
Trusting Christ, exempts you from Hell!

I can still see her wobbling down the hall,
Arthritis so bad, she finally did fall.
Many times because of the pain she’d cry,
She couldn’t understand, and would ask: “Why?”
To Bible class, many years she came,
Her seat was always, exactly the same.
When she wasn’t there, it didn’t seem right,
Her presence in that chair made things bright.
One day they said: “Dottie passed away,”
I’m sure my grief I must have display’d.
The mind of a child, dear Dottie had,
But her passing, has left my heart sad.
Dottie no longer wobbles down the hall,
She stands on painless legs, straight and tall!
There’s no need of a walker or wheel chair,
The burden of pain she no longer bears.
Dottie is in the Presence, of her Lord,
The bliss of Heav’n is her reward.
“O how I love Jesus” I can hear her sing,
Dottie is in Heav’n, with life e’er lasting.

Dottie would go up and down the halls singing “O how I love Jesus.”
I firmly believe, even with Dottie’s mental retardation,
she was “born again” and is now in Heaven with Her Lord.
It was a privilege to have known this wonderful person.
When men doubt, they believe what’s agreeable,
It never comes to mind what is probable.
Doubt insists on a mountain, to move a mustard seed,
Those who doubt, never even half believed!
He who doubts what he sees; will never believe,
They can’t see God, so salvation’s not achieved!
Seems the more a person knows, the more they doubt,
Doubt is your enemy; take another route!
Beware of doubts; they are traitors to us all,
Faith keeps doubt in its place, lest we would fall!
Faith leads us on, but doubt digs the grave of faith,
Keep your faith strong, let doubt be put to death!

DOUBTS . . . August 2014 Message
Doubts, are simply traitors to our soul,
“I can’t” is born of doubt, that took control!
But faith is a ‘flame,’ deep down inside,
We should always seek, for faith to abide!
Doubts are really betrayers to our heart,
Doubt in our life, should not be a part!
All our excuses, of doubt are born,
Faith instead, God’s children should adorn!
Doubts are truly a negative power,
Cramping and crippling, hour after hour!
Satan wants us to doubt God, alway,
Don’t give in, and become the devil’s prey!
Doubts, will absolutely make you fail,
Your common sense, will be to no avail!
Unbelief makes you God’s enemy,
God wants us to believe; you and me!
Doubts will keep you from eternal success,
For the ‘Ladder’ to Heav’n, you can’t access!
Christ is this ‘Ladder;’ you must believe!
Throw away your doubt, and Him receive!
Doubt is a sin, that will lead you to Hell,
And there for eternity, you shall dwell!
Open your heart’s door, to Jesus today!
Total faith in Christ, is the only way!

Doubt is just one way, old Satan will tempt,
Not one single saint, from doubt is exempt.
Doubt starts out so small, so we must beware,
Or soon we'll be caught up, in Satan's snare.
In a flower patch, doubt is like a weed,
Stifling out the beauty, if we don't pay heed.
We must rip it out, as fast as we can,
On the sin of doubt, we must put a ban.
Doubt is like a flea, on a dog's back,
Ready at any moment, to attack.
Not one little chance, should it be given,
For doubt and unbelief, keep you from Heaven.
Satan will tempt you continuously,
And doubt he uses, frequently.
We must beware, and always be on guard,
For old Satan, is a deceiving fraud.
Submit to God, and the devil will flee,
Only the Lord from doubt, can set you free,
Trust Him, believe in Him, walk the right road,
You'll be relieved from doubt, the devil's goad.

Doubt, disbelief, distrust, uncertain, skeptical: (Mat.6:30; 8:26; 14:31; 16:8; 17:17; Mk.4:40; 9:19; Lk.8:25; 24:25; Jn.20:27; Jam.1:6). James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (KJV)
DOWNSTREAM . . . September 2014 Message
We don’t know what lies ahead, downstream,
Maybe a nightmare, or beautiful dream.
We can’t see ahead, around the bend,
An enemy might await, or a friend.
Downstream could be rapids, raging wild,
Or calm, still waters, ever so mild.
We never know what may come in life,
It could be peace and joy, or maybe strife.
In life we know not, what lies ahead,
One day happiness, the next one dread.
Life is like a river, always flowing,
What’s downstream, we have no way of knowing.
Living life God’s way, gives peace and rest,
Ev’n tho’ at times, we’ll be put to the test.
All our troubles may not disappear,
But His loving Presence, is always near.
Wonder of wonders, He’s always there,
Because our Saviour truly does care.
Downstream we cannot know what will be,
God knows, but to us, it’s a mystery.
Trust the Lord Jesus with your v’ry all,
And He’ll reach out His Hand, when you fall.
We need not worry, ‘bout what’s downstream,
For Jesus will aid us, when Him we esteem.

DREAMS OF TOMORROW
We dream of tomorrow, you and me,
Of what we’ll do, and where we’ll be!
Extensive travel, here and abroad,
But seldom do we ever, include God!
We dream of tomorrow, every day,
Dream of a job, with much better pay!
New home, new car, hopefully good health,
Having fame and glory, and great wealth!
We dream of tomorrow, and ones we love,
But ‘tis rare we e’er think, of God above.
We ne'er think, that one day we'll be gone,
And we ne'er think, we're the devil's pawn.
We dream of tomorrow, which may not be,
We don’t know God’s plan, for you and me!
Most travel the devils' big, broad path,
And that only leads, to God's Holy wrath.
We dream of tomorrow, so foolishly,
Not thinking that today, our end might be.
Christ in our plans, we rarely include,
But we do allow, Satan to intrude.
Dreams of tomorrow, might lead us to Hell,
And friend that place, you don't want to dwell.
We all must consider, eternity,
Instead of this life, temporarily.
Dreaming of tomorrow's, better life,
Could possibly cause, turmoil and strife.
Lusting for things you don't have, is sin,
Be content with what you have, for peace within.
Dumb dreams of tomorrow, may ne'er be,
Friend, consider instead, reality.
If you're on the wrong road, change today,
Just that right road leads, to Heaven's array.
Don't dream of things, that may never be,
Dream of life in Heaven, eternally.
Believe God, trust Christ Jesus today,
To get to Heaven, He's the only Way!

Driving Him Away
You may without knowing, drive Jesus away,
And when you do, you’ll have a troubled day.
When you drive Him away, you’ll lose His grace,
You will not feel that love, from His glorious Face.
If you drive Him away, your Friend will be sad,
You must know by now, a better Friend can’t be had.
Trials and troubles, now alone you must bear,
For you drove away, the Lord Jesus who cares.
If thru’ carelessness, you happen to lose Him,
Great will be your sorrow, your joy will be dim.
Greater love hath no man, than our precious Lord,
Driving Him away friend, you can’t afford.
Just how can you possibly, drive Christ away?
My friend, it is a sinful life you display.
God is so pure, and always righteous and just,
Repenting and confessing your sin is a must.
If we confess our sins, He will forgive us,
He’s faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Your unconfessed sins is what drives Christ away,
It’s best to have Him, on your side all the way.
Please consider your thoughts, and actions too,
You do not want to drive Christ, away from you.
To drive Him away, would be a big mistake,
Keep Him close, honor Him, a wise choice to make.

DYING ON THAT CROSS
He was betrayed by a ‘trusted’ friend,
He knew Judas would betray in the end.
False witnesses did rise up and accuse,
But He opened not His mouth to refuse.
He gave His back to that cruel scourge,
Unmerciful they were; without urge!
Pain and agony, beyond compare,
His bones did look upon Him and stare.
They plucked the hair from off His cheeks,
Mocked and insulted; but He was meek.
Made Him a ‘crown’ of sharpest thorns,
Crushed it on His Head to adorn.
As He trod Calvary’s road that day,
The jeering crowd barely gave Him way.
Such awful hate, made His heart to break,
Couldn’t they see, this was for their sake?
That relentless scourging, left Him so weak,
He’d lost much Blood, He could barely speak.
As He struggled to carry His ‘Cross’,
He ne’er did think, all this to be loss.
When He reached the top of Calv’ry’s hill,
That jeering throng, was with Him still!
They drove huge nails in His hands and feet,
Making so sure their job was complete.
He died on that Cross, to save your soul,
Most don’t think so, but He’s in control.
Only He can grant the ‘key’ to Heav’n’s gate,
Trust and accept Him, ‘fore it’s too late.
