POEMS . . . A

666

The False Prophet will have two horns, as a lamb,
But his appearance will simply be a scam.
He’ll have vast pow’r, and as a dragon speak,
And he’ll have such great pride; he’ll not be meek.

He will have immense pow’r and authority,
And he will perform witchcraft and sorcery.
On the worship of Antichrist, he will insist,
Everyone shall be killed, if they resist.

He will accomplish miracles, ever so great,
No one, his power, will underestimate.
He’ll bring fire down from heav’n in plain sight,
Many in that day, will be filled with fright.

Both the rich and the poor; the great and the small,
Must receive his mark; this means one and all.
A mark in their forehead, or their right hand,
Ev’ry inhabitant, of this whole land.

If you don’t have the mark; you’ll not buy nor sell,
But, if you accept the mark; you’re bound for Hell!
That mark will grant you eternal agony,
No rest day or night; and you can never flee.

There is another mark, you can have instead,
The mark God gives, will never cause you dread.
When you accept Christ, God marks you as His own,
Then one day you’ll survey, God’s awesome Throne.

The choice lies in your hands; Heaven or Hell,
One of these places, you’ll eternally dwell.
There is a way, you can put your mind at rest,
Accept Christ Jesus, and God will truly bless.

A TOTAL DISASTER

A total disaster, weak and worn,
Is what I’d be, had not Christ been born.
Satan would keep me, so deep in sin,
Without Christ Jesus, I could not win.

A total disaster, filled with hate,
There’d be no way, I’d reach Heaven’s Gate.
I’d be headed, for Hell’s agony,
Without Christ Jesus, no victory.

A total disaster, reeking with pride,
Walking the broad road, with rapid strides.
Satan would keep me, stirring God’s wrath,
Without Christ, I’d not find the narrow path.

A total disaster, lusting for gold,
Is what I’d be, if not in Christ’s fold.
Lost in the wilderness, sure to fall,
Without Christ, I’d be nothing at all.

A total disaster, on the wrong road,
There’s no way I’d reach, Heaven’s abode.
The devil keeps pulling, the wrong way,
Without Christ Jesus, I’m Satan’s prey.

Dear Lord Jesus, if I walk with Thee,
A total disaster, I’ll not be.
Trusting Christ Jesus, means victory,
Living in Heaven, eternally!

Access to God

God’s children to their Father, have access,
For the Spirit of Christ, they do possess.
We can go to the Father, night or day,
All prayers we submit, will be heard always.

God’s children can access, His awesome love,

God’s children can constantly, access His grace,

As we walk the road, to eternity.

Because of Christ Jesus’, righteousness.
Our sins are cast, to the bottom of the sea,
When confession is sincere, in our plea.

God’s children have access, to His mercy,
Judgment is always done, compassionately.
Our Father will always treat us, fair and right,
For His children to Him, are a delight.

A CHILD OF WISDOM

A child of wisdom, has security,
Which comes from Jesus, when He sets us free.
Faith is the one key, that opens the door,
To all the blessings, God holds in store.

I was a fool, for many, many years,
Struggling alone, with my troubles and fears.
The grand love of God, I did not accept,
And the Spirit’s urging, I did reject.

Then again one day, I heard Jesus knock,
But this time, my heart’s door I did unlock.
In my life, there was a drastic change,
Christ Jesus, my whole life, did re-arrange.

The wicked devil’s child, I’ll be no more,
For being God’s child, holds great things in store.
Such abundant blessings, that have no end,
And security, knowing I’m God’s friend.

I’m God’s child, I’m spiritually re-born,
One day, a crown of glory I’ll adorn.
A child of wisdom, is a child of God,
Wise enough to stay off, that road so broad.

A child of the King; a blessing indeed,
We’re wise, when to the Gospel, we pay heed.
And Jesus has the key, to our mansion above,
Where eternity will be, peace and love.

A MAZE

Life without Christ is a maze at night,
Wand’ring confused, in all our plights.
Ne’er seeing which direction to go,
All is darkness, and dreary shadows.

Life is a maze of pitfalls and snares,
Without Jesus, all is bleak and bare.
None of God’s blessings will come our way,
We’re nothing but the old devil’s prey.

Life’s maze only bewilders us all,
And into Satan’s trap we will fall.
Stumbling; confounded, more ev’ry day,
Without Christ, we’re doom’d, to Hell’s doorway.

There is a way out of this dark maze,
The Light of Christ will lift the haze.
His great Light, reveals blessings untold,
And will guide us, right into His fold.

There is no dark maze, with Jesus near,
He will guide us; there’ll be no more fear.
And when your time on Earth is thru’,
He’ll open the gates of Heav’n for you!

Amazing Love of Christ

Love urged Jesus, to leave Heaven’s safety,
To come to Earth, to pay sin’s penalty.
I can’t comprehend, Jesus’ kind of love,
Care, concern, compassion, just from above!

In Gethsemane, love made Jesus pray,
Let this cup pass, if there’s another way!
But there was no other way, He had to die,
He did not back down, He did not e’vn try!

Love made Jesus endure, His horrid fate,
Violent torture, Christ did tolerate!
Severe whipping, made His bones to be bare,
The Bible says: they look on me and stare!

Love allowed Jesus, not one word to say,
In His defense, on that horrible day!
He was delivered, because of envy,
His own people, refused to set Him free

The Jews demanded, He be crucified,
Because of His blasphemy, He must die!
They stripped Him, and put on Him a scarlet robe,
And a crown of thorns, on Him they bestow’d.

In love to us, He went up to Calv’ry,
To pay our sin debt, and set our soul free.
Such amazing love, I can’t comprehend,
Deep, heart-felt love, He could never pretend!

The love of Christ, I cannot comprehend,
The Almighty Creator, calls me friend!
I am not worthy, to put on His shoe,
Yet this Majestic God, loves me and you!

Some things to consider

Here are some of the unlawfulness of the Jewish trials. #1. A man could never be arrested at night for a capital crime. Jesus' arrest took place between 1 and 2 o'clock at night. #2. No arrest for a capital crime could be made upon information given by a follower or colleague of the accused. The entire plot revolved around Judas, one of Jesus’ followers. #3. No Jewish trial could be held at night. Both trials before Annas and Caiaphas, were held in darkness. #4. After hearing the testimony of witnesses in a capital crime, they could not immediately act and judge. They were to go home and remain alone and separate from one another for two days. They did not do that. They Jewish court never left the presence of Caiaphas! #5. Their vote was supposed to be taken from the youngest to the oldest so that the youngest wouldn't be intimidated or influenced by the older votes. This never happened.

Barabbas was a notorious criminal, he was a murderer, he was an insurrectionist, he was guilty of sedition and he was bound in prison awaiting death by crucifixion. It was a capital crime he had committed. He was the one guilty of treason, not Jesus. So, Pilate thought that if he were to put Barabbas next to Jesus, and offered to release one of them, the Jews would say, "Don't release Barabbus! Release Jesus!" But it backfired upon him. They said they wanted Jesus crucified (Matthew 27:19-23)!
So they gathered a band of soldiers, stripped Him and put on a scarlet robe on Him, placed a crown of thorns on His Head, and a reed in His Right Hand, mocked Him by bowing down and saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” They hit Him on His Head, spit on him, and led him away to be crucified. (Matthew 27:26-31).

Summary
You and I deserve that spit. We deserve the nails in His Feet and Hands. It was OUR sin that He bore, NOT His. It was OUR place He took on the cross. We should have been there NOT Him! We are the guilty ones, we are like sheep gone astray, turned everyone to our own ways. We are the rebels. OUR iniquity has separated us from God, NOT His. The message behind all of this is because of Jesus’ amazing love, He died for us! He did it for us. He became sin for us, so we would not have to pay sin’s penalty . . . eternity in Hell!  John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

A BARRIER . . . Aug.2007 Message

Is there a barrier in the way?
That keeps you from Christ this very day?
There are many excuses you can make,
But to reject Christ is your worst mistake.

Are you afraid of what folks will say?
When love for Christ Jesus you display?
Are you too busy in the life you live?
To accept Him and the gift He gives?

Do worldly things come ‘tween you and He?
These barriers are your enemies.
Riches, glory, and fame and power,
Are they ‘tween Christ and you this hour?

You’ve done much evil and wickedness,
You say the Father would never bless.
The Blood of Christ will wash white as snow,
Just open His Book, He wants you to know.

What’s the barrier ‘tween He and you?
If you remove it He will rescue.
Lust of the flesh, passion, or pleasure,
Are these what you consider treasure?

What e’er the barrier in your road,
Remove it if you want Heav’n’s abode.
Rejection of Christ leads to Hell’s gate,
Accepting Him grants you Heav’n so great.

A BED OF ROSES

Life is not a bed of roses soft,
Not ease, and a smooth road from aloft.
There will be times when life will be hard.
Remember your faith, do not discard!

A bed of roses will have some thorns,
Not always softness, and fragrance adorn.
We must keep our faith, strong and true,
No matter what comes, or what we do.

Beautiful roses sometimes will prick,
When we do go, a bouquet to pick.
Too, life may not at all times be well,
But keep your faith, and in Heav’n you’ll dwell.

At times our path may be rough and steep,
Beware of crevasses, wide and deep.
But if you should fall, you’ll rise again,
He’ll lift you up; you’ll forget the pain.

Our God will always be on your side,
If you will just trust Him, and abide.
Granting grace for your trials severe,
Loving you always, you’ve nought to fear.

A CHILD OF THE KING . . . June 1996 Message

Oh, what a joy, I’m a child of the King,
It makes me so happy, I want to sing.
I’m so very wealthy, beyond compare,
An heir of salvation; with Christ I’ll share.

Heav’n awaits, with my loving Saviour there,
When I arrive, life on Earth will seem bare.
My home in Heav’n is reserved for me,
Jesus, my Saviour, has indeed set me free.

A child of the King, without any doubt,
It makes me so happy, I want to shout.
My eternal home is my Father’s Home,
I’ll be with Him for e’er, ne’er more to roam.

A child of the King, what a wondrous joy,
Not ev’n Satan, my happiness can destroy.
Only my Saviour can give this confidence,
Heav’n is my destiny; there’s no suspense!

A CRITICAL JUNCTION

There’s an important junction, most pass by,
A junction the Bible, does specify.
The majority stay on, the broad road,
And shall end up, in the devil’s abode.

At this junction, there is a small, lone path,
And all those who take it, escape God’s wrath.
Just a “few” walk it, God’s Word tells us clear,
But they walk with Jesus, always so near.

Those who walk the broad road, keep on in sin,
They listen to Satan, they cannot win.
They walk with the devil, and not our Lord,
There’s no desire to know, what’s in God’s Word.

Fools these are, who think not of eternity,
They must never consider, Hell’s agony.
Only the wise, believe God’s Word so true,
I wonder, does this small group, include you?

Each person at this junction, will one day stand,
The decision you make, lies in your hand.
There are just two roads, to eternity,
One to Heav’n’s bliss, one to Hell’s misery.

Are you at this critical junction, this day?
Will you go with Christ, or be Satan’s prey?
This most important choice, lies in your hand,
The wide road to Hell, the small one to Heav’n Land!

A FRIEND IN DEED

A Friend in deed, is what Christ is to me,
Always there to help, and always lovingly!
In times of trouble, He always comes thru’,
At any hour, His friendship rings so true!

I’m Jesus’ friend; and I’m always in need,
And when trouble looms, my pray’r He will heed.
His great comfort is only a pray’r away,
For He will answer, any time of the day.

This Friend is what my soul needs, all the time,
And that’s what Christ is, with His love so fine!
He will never forsake; nor will He leave,
He’s there all the time; my soul need not grieve!

The love of earthly friends, quickly flies away,
Not like the love of Christ, that’s here to stay.
The warmth and cheer of friends, we fondly treasure,
Let us down at times; a loss we can’t measure.

Jesus is a Friend, not in word, but in deed,
And all my spiritual hunger, He does feed.
I’m glad He’s not here today, gone tomorrow,
But a true Friend, in all my joy or sorrow.

A Great Lamp

Christ Jesus is, a Great Lamp to me,
As He leads me on, to eternity.
His Radiance, warms and cheers my way,
With Him near, I have a better day.

Without Christ, my path is dark and lone,
But with His radiance, great light is shown.
I need ne’er walk, in darkness deep,
Christ Jesus my Great Lamp, safely keeps.

Satan will not dim, my mind with doubt,
For my Great Lamp, will not e’er go out.
Christ Jesus helps me, brighten my faith,
I trust Him completely, with ev’ry breath.

A Great Lamp to me, is Christ my Lord,
I stay e’er so close to Him, by His Word.
His Light will always, be there for me,
Both today, and thru’ eternity!

A HARD LIFE

Living for Christ is not easy to do,
When you walk close to Him, folks watch you!
Ready to jump on you if you slip,
At times you feel like deserting the ship!

With love like our God; we are to love,
‘Tis hard in this world of push and shove.
Repaying good, for evil folks do,
I surely need Him, to see me thru’.

Curse not, but bless; love your enemy,
Only with Christ can we have victory.
Our brother we are to truly forgive,
If we want forgiveness, as we live.

Lord Jesus, we can’t do it alone,
We would fail completely, on our own.
Please Lord Jesus, stay close by our side,
Love and forgive, and be there to guide.

A HIGHER PLATEAU . . . Jan. 2007 Message

A higher plateau, is where I’ve gone,
And I’m no longer, the devil’s pawn.
At the foot of Christ’s cross, I did kneel,
Now worldly pleasures, don’t ev’n seem real!

I’m far above, where I used to be,
On a high plateau of serenity.
Amazing peace, I feel deep within,
Satan no longer, can make me sin.

I’ve forsaken, vanity and pride,
For the Holy Spirit, does abide.
His Presence and pow’r, surely does aid,
The higher plateau, makes me unafraid.

From this higher plateau, I can see more,
Tho’ I can’t make out, Heav’n’s blissful shore.
But I will stay, in close fellowship,
With Christ Jesus, who leads on this trip.

On this plateau, I’ll walk the narrow road,
As Christ leads me, to my heav’nly abode.
No matter how steep, or how dark the night,
I see perfectly, with Christ’s great Light.

Trials and troubles, may come my way,
But Christ’s awesome Presence, is there alway.
This higher plateau, on which I stand,
I firmly hold, onto Jesus’ Hand!

I thank Him for all that He does for me,
And for my mansion, in eternity.
He has gone on, to prepare a place,
And one day soon, I’ll see His wondrous Face.

I thank Him for that higher plateau,
I like it better, than the valley below.
Give me wisdom and strength, to do your will,
And faith, love and mercy, in me instill.

A JIGSAW PUZZLE . . . October 2012 Message

A jigsaw puzzle, is what life does portray,
New pieces are put in, each and ev’ry day.
Only God can view, our life from afar,
To Him, the door of our life, is ajar.

A jigsaw puzzle, is what life represents,
Trials that come, teach us to be patient.
Never a straight path, life has ups and downs,
Each piece we put in, may cause us to frown.

A jigsaw puzzle, is what life illustrates,
Finding the right piece, is hard to estimate.
Calamities can come from far and wide,
We must trust the Lord to manage and guide.

A jigsaw puzzle, is what life depicts,
The pieces at times, can great pain inflict.
Trouble and hardship can be mysteries,
But faith in the Lord, brings serenity.

A jigsaw puzzle, is what life specifies,
His wise leading, we must never deny.
When we have a burden, His yoke is light,
Allowing Him to help, eases our plight.

A jigsaw puzzle, is what God’s will may seem,
Jesus and you, can make an amazing team!
He will lead you to your mansion above,
Your chosen destination, giv’n by God in love.

Pieces of the puzzle are put in one by one,
They fit easier, with the help of God’s Son.
One day the puzzle of life, will be complete,
When we sit in glory, at the Saviour’s Feet!

A LOST, FRUITLESS DAY . . . July 1999 Message

As on my bed, I contemplate,
Did Jesus, my actions dominate?
Did I cheer someone along the way?
Or has this been a lost, fruitless day?

As I consider so carefully,
Did I speak cross words, or words friendly?
In hours past, did I imitate Him?
Or is His Face sad, and stern, and grim?

As I examine the now past day,
Is someone happier, I came their way?
Was I kind and loving like my Lord?
Or did I do things on my own accord?

As I ponder o’er the day now done,
Did I disappoint my Lord, God’s Son?
Does one rejoice that I came their way?
Or has this been a lost, fruitless day?

Loving each other; have mercy too,
Grant comfort and kindness; great virtues!
Soft friendly words lift hopes that were low,
Imitate Jesus; pure love do show.

A LOVELY ROSE

A lovely ‘Rose’ in the midst of thorns,
Its beauty as a crown that adorns.
‘Twas our Saviour, while He was on Earth,
Of great value, but few saw His worth!

As a lovely ‘Rose’, His life was short,
He gave only love; but Him they hurt.
All the thorns around, Him they did prick,
They wounded our Saviour to the quick.

Our Saviour was as a lovely ‘Rose’,
But the thorns around, evil they chose.
He wanted the best for one and all,
“Crucify Him” was their only call!

He’s a lovely ‘Rose’ in Heav’n’s garden,
With love deep and true, both now and then.
To enjoy His eternal beauty,
This eternal ‘Rose’ can grant Heav’n’s key!

He has a loving Eye, that never sleeps,

He watches over us, each day and night,
No matter our trouble, no matter our plight.

He has a loving Ear, that never turns away,
Wide open, to hear our prayers night or day!
He willingly waits for His children to come,
Then sends us His love, comfort, and wisdom!

He has a loving Arm, that is never weary,
He wants to help us, our load to help us carry.
He picks us up when we stumble and fall,
Our loving Lord is at our beck and call!

He has a loving Heart, gentle and warm,
Helping us thru’ life’s turbulent storms!
Care, concern, compassion, and forgiving too,
Such tremendous love, blesses me and you!

A MANGER FOR A BED . . . Dec.1997 Message

From Nazareth unto Bethlehem,
Went Joseph and Mary, both of them.
All went to be taxed, the decree,
Ev’ry on into his own city.

They were lowly peasants, with no fame,
And while they were there, Mary’s time came.
And there she brought forth her first born son,
No one had concern, no, not one!

A lowly manger was His first bed,
‘Twas no room at the inn to lay His head.
She wrapped her Son in swaddling clothes,
Laid Him in a manger, can you suppose?

Shepherds abode in the same country,
Keeping their flock from their enemy.
As they kept watch all thru’ the still night,
The angel of the lord came in great light.

Round ‘bout them shone the glory of the Lord,
They were sore afraid; as this they heard:
I bring tidings of great joy, do not fear,
The Saviour is born, and He is near.

They came with haste, and the babe they found,
He lay in a manger; so profound!
God, born as a Man, came to save the world,
God’s wisdom thru’ Christ is unfurled.

A MIRACLE . . . BELIEF IS

Belief can be a miracle, true,
A miracle, that can happen to you.
It can change your life spectacularly,
Belief gives you life, eternally!

Believing God can erase all sins,
A miracle; that with faith, begins!
We are justified, by Christ’s precious Blood,
‘Not Guilty’ in Heav’n, by this wondrous Flood!

Belief; a miracle, that sanctifies,
By trusting His Word, that never lies!
Set apart to serve our awesome Lord,
Spreading the Gospel set forth in His Word!

Belief; a miracle, that gives a new heart,
A ‘new’ creature, with a brand new start.
Children of God, and with Christ joint heirs,
One day the bliss of Heav’n with God we’ll share.

Believing is a miracle; true,
This miracle can happen to you!
Receiving Jesus makes you God’s child,
From Hell, you will always be exiled!

Salvation is a ‘Gift’ God gives to you,
A miracle; reserved for a ‘few’.
But most, by unbelief walk away,
From the greatest miracle to come our way!

A MOMENT AFTER YOU DIE

All those that you love will so weep when you go,
Your dear ones will sure miss you, and rightly so.
The teary faces that mourn, you will not see,
A moment after you die, where will you be?

All the voices around simply won't reach you,
And the grief that they bear, you will not construe.
You have a soul, do you know where it will go
A moment after you die, Heav'n OR below ?

In your life, earthly treasures did you reap?
Not looking ahead when your body would sleep?
Consider eternity, looming ahead,
It will be too late when your body is dead!

You shall reap what you sow, there's no turning back,
Did you choose your goal, are you on the right track ?
There's two places; Hell below, Heav'n in the sky,
Where will you be, a moment after you die ?

Did you ever feel a sharp tug at your heart ?
Yet stifle that feeling, and from it depart ?
O,this is God, simply trying to reach you,
A moment after you die, He won't rescue.

Eternity is l-o-n-g, consider this fact,
I really pray that you, Heaven will attract.
But if you don't listen to God's Holy Word,
A moment after you die, Heav'n is barred.

Don't let Christ pass you by; He can save your soul,
Just trust and accept Him, He will take control.
And you won't have to worry ever again,
For the moment you die, with Him you'll remain!

A MYSTERY

What true love sees is a mystery,
God’s love sent His Son, to you and me!
Whosoever in Him does believe,
Eternal life in Heav’n will receive!

A deep mystery, is God’s true love,
Indeed a blessing, from Heav’n above!
In spite of all the times we do fall,
He’s always there, every time we call!

What true love sees is a mystery,
Never changing, in all eternity!
Our faith in Jesus, makes us God’s child,
And with the Father, we’re reconcil’d!

What does God see in a sinner like me?
Yet I’m His child, for eternity!
Our God’s great love, so wondrously true,
Forgives thru’ Jesus each day anew!

I’m praising Christ Jesus each new day,
His love on the Cross, He did portray!
He paid our sin debt and set us free,
What true love sees is a mystery!

Do we as God’s children true love show?
Our love, like a light, should surely glow!
Is our love like God’s? A mystery?
True love should be our identity!

A Prayer For You . . . Nov.2004 Message

May the Lord guide you, where e’er you go,
May He be near, in joy or sorrow.
May His light always shine on your path,
May He keep you, from the Father’s wrath.

May the strength of Jesus, give you pow’r,
May He light up e’vn, your darkest hour.
May all your crooked roads be made straight,
May wisdom from Him, ne’er come too late.

May our dear Lord’s love, o’er flow to you,
May His mercy, abound thru’ and thru’.
May His sufficient grace satisfy,
May your service to Him, qualify.

May the Lord give you peace, deep inside,
May you love the thought, that He abides.
May joy fill your heart, with each new day,
May you be content, now and always.

May your soul know, that your mansion waits,
May you look forward to Heav’n’s gate.
May you be ready when the Lord does come,
To take you to, your eternal home.

A PRIVILEGE . . . May 2003 Message

A wondrous privilege, is that of prayer,
For Almighty God, truly does care!
God wants His children, in Him to abide,
Communication lines, are open wide!

Prayer can bring us instant relief,
For God can remove our sorrow and grief!
Prayer can remove our anxiety,
From all our worries, we can be free!

When we ‘talk’ to God, fear goes away,
Be it the night, morning, or mid-day!
To go to God in daily prayers,
Will help greatly, to dissolve your cares!

We can access God, in the night so still,
Great comfort from Him, your heart will fill!
We can go to Him in broad daylight,
Just He can chase away ling’ring fright!

When problems come up, I can’t solve alone,
Prayer helps the answer be clearly shown!
When I feel lost, and helpless and weak,
It’s a privilege, that to God I can speak!

When all my strength seems to dissipate,
He gives me pow’r, I can’t duplicate!
When all that I do just seems to fail,
His love and wisdom always prevails!

If you face a day that seems hopeless,
Go to God in prayer, and He will bless!
Don’t go it alone, or you will fall,
Use the privilege of prayer; and on God call!

A PROBLEM . . . Oct.2007 Message

There was one who had great earthly wealth,
This one also had good physical health.
But he had a problem he could not see,
He wouldn’t admit Jesus held Heav’n’s ‘key’.

There was one so beautiful, and so vain,
She looked at others with great disdain.
She rejected Jesus with contemn,
No Jesus; the world’s biggest problem!

There was a ruler who had vast pow’r,
All his subjects would shudder and cow’r.
From his evil lips came blasphemy,
His problem: No Christ, for eternity!

There was one who had fortune and fame,
People ‘round the world, all knew her name.
She had a problem; she refus’d Jesus,
And this makes the Father furious!

There are those who toil for a college degree,
To be a scholar is great, most agree.
But without Christ, you have a problem great,
Eternal destruction of Hell does await!

We can access Heav’n without wealth or beauty,
But we must have Jesus: He’s the Key!
Heav’n can be ours without learning or fame,
But we must call on Jesus’ Holy Name!

Without Jesus, a problem does exist,
Hell will be yours; for Heav’n you’ll have miss’d!
He is the Truth, the Life and the Way,
Just Jesus can get you to Heav’n someday!

A PROMISE . . . June 2008 Message

One day we’ll be winging our way on high,
We’ll be carried by angels, thru’ the sky.
This is a Promise, Christ Jesus has told,
Our last journey will be to that street of gold!

No more pain, nor sorrow, nor agony,
A Promise Jesus makes, to you and me.
No more crying in Heaven, no more tears,
Eternal bliss, with never any fears.

A Promise, of a “mansion” that awaits,
Angels will carry us, thru’ the pearly gates.
I look forward to this journey to come,
For angels will carry me, to my Home!

Hindrance by the devil, won’t be allow’d,
As we take our last journey, thru’ the clouds.
We’ll be taken to the Presence of the Lord,
A Promise that is made to us in His Word.

For each believer, a “mansion” is there,
A Promise from Jesus, because He cares.
This wondrous mansion, is reserv’d for you,
A Promise from God; trustworthy and true.

God’s angels will carry us home one day,
Where we’ll be with Christ Jesus, for always.
Eternal bliss, in our mansion above,
All because of our God’s amazing love!

A RAGING SEA

The world around us, as a raging sea,
Ready to engulf us; watch closely!
Satan is crafty, with power so great,
He’ll try to trick us, off our road so strait.

A raging sea, with angry waves so high,
Life’s not always a road smooth, wide and dry!
Furious billows, may pull you inside,
You need a Lifeline, or you can’t abide!

Jesus is the Lifeline, waiting your call,
Don’t listen to Satan; or Hell will befall!
Jesus can pull you, from the angry waves,
Trust and accept Him; only He can save!

A SPECIAL DREAM!

I had a very special dream last night,
I saw things of beauty, so peaceful and bright!
Lord, I saw angels, carry me to you,
This special dream, seemed so real and true!

As I walked down, that pure golden road,
I saw from where, pure living water flow’d!
The crystal river came, from God’s own Throne,
This to me, in my special dream was shown!

I saw an amazing tree of life too,
That gives food and healing, for me and you!
As on this wonderful tree, I did look,
I was grateful my name, was in His book!

In my special dream, I saw you Lord,
And you were glorious, as told in your Word!
Absent from my body; present with you,
My eternal Home; such a precious view!

Dear Lord, in my dream, I fell at your Feet!
‘Twas such a privilege, when you I did meet!
I’d known you before, but now --- Face to face!
Forever with you, because of your grace!

Heav’n will be better than my special dream,
Lord, your precious worth, I highly esteem!
For just you dear Jesus, hold Heaven’s key,
For direct passage there, for eternity!

You’re a ‘gift’ from Heaven, from God above.

You bring joy in such a special way,
There when someone needs you, night or day.
With gentle words and thoughtful deeds,
Seems you always know what others need.

Friends like you are not many; but few,
Those around can trust, and count on you.
To those who love you, you are so dear,
Your love and kindness, increases each year.

May you be happy in all you do,
And the good you’ve done, return to you.
May you be blessed, with love and great joy,
And happiness, no one can destroy.

Special friends like you, are very rare,
You just take the time, to show you care.
Though we are parted, by many miles,
Your loving friendship, makes my heart smile.

A SPECIAL SOMEONE

As you consider the day ahead,
Are you filled with joy, or is it dread?
Are you content, and have peace inside?
Or does worry and doubt, within you reside?

There’s a Special Someone, who can aid,
He can calm your fears, when you’re afraid.
He can bring great joy into your soul,
Just submit to Christ, give Him control.

He can help remove sorrow and pain,
And your heart will sing, a glorious refrain.
He can ease life’s turbulence and stress,
This Special Someone, can truly bless.

Anxiety leaves, calm comes to your soul,
When you submit to Christ, He takes control.
When you commit your heart and life to Him,
The troubles you had, seem O' so dim!

A STILL SMALL VOICE

A still, small Voice warns me when I sin,
Helps me resist, when trouble begins.
Tho’ Satan tempts with troubles galore,
A still, small Voice, my hopes restore!

A still, small Voice tells which roads to take,
When I obey, I make no mistake.
In life’s hard journey, I need a Guide,
This Voice advises, with Christ to abide!

A still, small Voice helps me run my race,
And tells me one day I’ll see His Face!
It tells me that I should persevere,
For my wondrous Lord is always near!

A still, small Voice impresses upon me,
Just thru’ Christ can I have victory.
For the Blood of Jesus justifies,
And that still, small Voice never lies!

A still, small Voice tells me I’m Heav’n bound,
This Voice to me, is the sweetest sound!
With Jesus, I’ll spend eternity,
And this will be bliss and ecstasy!

A STRANGER

I once was a stranger, to God and His grace,
And I felt no danger, not even a trace!
I’d often heard, Christ died for me on the Cross,
It seemed not to matter, I didn’t count the cost!

I once was a stranger, to righteousness,
Instead I followed after, wickedness.
Worldly things I craved; wealth and pleasure,
Never considering, spiritual treasure!

I once was a stranger, and enemy,
To the Father who controlled, my destiny.
I wouldn’t accept His Word, wouldn’t believe,
And His Beloved Son, I wouldn’t receive.

The Light of Jesus, awoke me one day,
‘Twas then I saw; I’d gone the wrong way!
He shed Light on my path, tho’ rugged and steep,
As He patiently guided, this lost sheep!

As He said, the road is strait and narrow,
But my Shepherd leads, on thru’ dark shadows.
No matter how difficult, He leads on,
Praise be to Jesus, my fears are gone.

He has made me one, of the chosen “few,”
Loving and forgiving, making me new!
No longer a stranger, to God above,
Christ made me God’s child, and filled me with love.

A SUMMER’S NIGHT

In the stillness of the summer’s night,
Are shadows from the full moon’s light.
All the country side so calm and still,
Sounds of night’s creatures the air does fill.

So peaceful after a busy day,
Time to rest as on my bed I lay.
Such a contrast from the day’s hot sun,
You’ve prepared the way, and night’s begun.

The cool breeze you’ve sent kisses me,
Such pleasant blessings you send so free.
The peaceful night makes me think of you,
We have a wondrous God, loving and true.

A TREASURE . . . GOD’S WORD IS

God’s Word is a treasure; each Promise a pearl,
The more that you study, the more He unfurls.
A spiritual gold mine, for one and for all,
Rich and poor alike, the big and the small.

I am an heir with all those who fear Thy Name,
This is so much better than earthly fame.
Thy testimonies always rejoice my heart,
A wonderful way, each new day to start.

God’s Holy Word, is a Treasure to me,
For it has led me to life eternally!
It turned me from darkness to glorious light,
All my horrid sins are now gone from His sight.

Of the heav’nly inheritance, I will partake,
For Christ Jesus, my Saviour; I did make.
Jesus is there, my “mansion” to prepare,
Reserved in my name, for He truly cares.

My treasures are where no one can steal,
But the world considers them to have no appeal.
I count all to be lost, except Christ my Lord,
My utmost Treasure, whom I found in God’s word.

What is your greatest treasure this day?
If it’s a worldly thing; it’s not here to stay!
If it’s God’s Word, and His precious Son,
Eternal blessings for you have just begun!

A TRUE CHRISTIAN

A true Christian in Christ believes,
Thru’ Him eternal life he achieves.
In sheer meekness, Christ he accepts,
Then God pardons; in His Hands we’re kept.

A true Christian will receive life,
And in Heav’n we will be the Lamb’s wife.
For Christ our Saviour, true Christians live,
Meek, in true love; not deceptive.

A true Christian serves Christ the Lord,
They trust and obey His Holy Word.
‘In Christ’ are all Christians, so true,
And He ‘in us’, both me and you.

A true Christian shows love for all,
Red, yellow, black or white; great or small.
God does not show partiality,
We should love all alike, you and me.

A true Christian will for e’er live,
God, thru’ Christ, eternal life gives.
Our Home will be in Heav’n above,
Surrounded by God’s wondrous love.

A Whisper in the Wind

A whisper in the wind, is Your Voice to me,
As You kindly guide me, to eternity.
Will I listen, to Your ever so soft words?
Or will I not heed, Your guidance, dear Lord?

A whisper in the wind, guides me to right paths,
Also leading me, away from Your wrath.
Softly and lovingly, You speak to me,
Out of the wind, blowing ever so free.

Your Voice in the calm wind, ever so soft talks,
Gently encouraging, the right way to walk.
Telling me to walk, with the Lord in His light,
Telling me to stay clear, of those of the night.

Whispering such gentle words, I need to hear,
Telling me of Your love, and that I need not fear.
Such wondrous love, I simply can’t comprehend,
It’s simply amazing, that You call me “friend.”

A whisper in the wind, is Your Voice to me,
As You guide me here, then receive me to glory.
I am so grateful, and will thank You always,
I’ll praise You now and forever, all my days.

No need for an earthquake, a whisper will do,
As the wind whooshes by, I’ll listen to You.
I want to be, who You want me to be,
Help me as I walk, to eternity.

ABOUT PRAYER

Our heart must be the agent when we pray,
We must be sincere; there’s no other way.
Prayer is lifting up your heart to Him,
Words without heart is abomination.

God is the only object when we pray,
Those self-sufficient don’t need it, or care.
To the Father, thru’ Christ, we have access,
Only thru’ His Son, will the Father bless.

Prayer should be a constant exercise,
It’s not of the foolish, but of the wise.
Prayer moves the Hand that moves ev’ry thing,
So important, for it brings His blessings.

Prayer is something we should cultivate,
Continue in it; no matter our state.
By faith, look for answers to your prayers,
For God really loves you, He really cares.

ABOVE AND BEYOND . . . Dec.2005 Message

Above and beyond, Christ Jesus did go,
Enduring great pain, as He suffered so.
By God the Father, our Saviour was sent,
Willingly He came, and to the cross He went.

Above and beyond, is Christ’s love for us,
All God’s children, to Him are precious.
Loving us, guiding us, each day anew,
Christ Jesus looks after, God’s chosen few.

Above and beyond, Christ goes for me and you,
With an awesome love, that’s forever true.
He will never leave, He will not forsake,
If a commitment to Him, we will make.

As I do consider my life this day,
Do I love Him enough? Do I obey?
Do I go above and beyond, for my Lord?
Or do I turn my back, on Him and His Word?

Above and beyond, NO! I do not go,
I fall so short, causing Christ sorrow.
I must love Him more, with my heart, soul and mind,
Then vast treasures of blessings, I will find.

ACCEPT OR REJECT CHRIST

Accept or reject Christ; I must choose,
Accept Him, I win! Reject Him, I lose!
I choose to reject, if I choose to wait,
This choice has me knocking, on Hell’s gate.

Christ is the most important choice we’ll make,
We must take care, we don’t make a mistake!
We’re all on the journey, to eternity,
What we choose, greatly affects you and me.

This journey we’re on, is where we’ll decide,
Where in eternity, we will abide.
Many detour signs we’ll see on the way,
‘Tis Christ warning us, to go the other way.

The small road with Christ, is rugged and steep,
But He guides in love, and carefully keeps.
The devil’s road is a broad and smooth path,
But, friend, it only leads to God’s holy wrath.

We face choices, some very important ones,
The greatest of all, is God’s own Son.
Jesus will never force Himself on you,
Reject Him? Accept Him? What will you do?

Life’s journey has many pitfalls and snares,
Choosing Jesus is wise, for He really cares.
But when you reject Him, the devil grins,
And friend, you’re in a battle, you can’t win!

When you reject Christ, the devil you choose,
You’re on a collision course, you’re sure to lose.
But, if accepting Christ is what you decide,
To you the gates of Heaven, will open wide!

ACCESS TO GOD

Access to the Father can be direct,
But God’s own Son we must not reject.
Only Christ Jesus can justify,
On His love and mercy we can rely.

By faith are we saved, thru’ God’s grace,
All our wicked sins God does erase.
We are no longer God’s enemy,
We’re now His children, you and me!

We now have access to God’s great throne,
For Christ’s precious Blood did atone.
Direct access to God, day or night,
No matter our problem, or our plight.

To God, we have unlimited access,
He’ll answer our prayers, and He’ll bless.
Only Christ, this access can provide,
When in His vast power we do confide.

To God’s great throne you can have access,
And God will daily, abundantly bless!
Into God’s presence, by Christ alone,
In the Word of God, this is plainly shown!

Access to Heaven

You can’t access Heav’n, by works you do,
It’s just reserved for the precious few.
God made a Plan, so many years ago,
Only by Jesus’ Blood, can we go!

No rituals can give you Heav’n’s key,
Rituals just give you, Hell’s agony.
Jesus holds the key, He’s God’s only Plan,
Heav’n’s door opens only, for the Son of Man!

Great riches cannot open Heav’n’s gate,
No matter if you are, famous or great.
All gold is just simply, yellow earth,
In God’s eyes, you’re nothing, of no worth.

No matter your wisdom, or your pow’r,
You cannot gain Heav’n, for ev’n one hour.
God states that Jesus, is the only Way,
To e’er see Heav’n’s glorious array.

Christ tells us we must take the narrow road,
And walk close to Him, to reach Heav’n’s abode.
No matter what you think, there’s NO other way,
Just Jesus can get you to Heav’n one day!

Mat.7:13-14; John 1:12-13; 3:3; 3:15-18,36; 14:6; 1 John 5:10-12

After Death, Then What?

Most never think of eternity,
As they keep on, in iniquity.
Judgment seems not, to enter their mind,
They must think God, it totally blind!

To one and all shall come, Judgment Day,
You cannot avoid it, there’s NO way!
We must consider, you and me,
As we walk on, to eternity!

Eternity! Just what does it mean?
It’s something future, that can’t be seen!
It really exists, God’s Book does say,
It’s there that we all, shall be one day!

This life on Earth, is where we decide,
Where in eternity, we’ll reside!
We must consider this, seriously,
Paying attention, so carefully!

Foremost, the Lord God, we must believe,
If salvation, we want to receive.
We must have faith in Jesus, God’s Son,
Trust Him always, as to Him we run!

Only Christ Jesus, has Heaven’s key,
Just He can lead, to peace and glory!
He can make it, so in Heaven we dwell,
Just He can keep us, from the fires of Hell!

After death, have you thought where you’ll go?
To Heaven above, or Hell below?
The decision rests, just in YOUR hand,
Hell’s horror, or Heaven’s Glory land!

Agony in Gethsemane . . . April 2012 Message

Our Saviour knelt, in sheer humility,
There in the garden, of Gethsemane.
Not for Himself, but for us, He did pray,
As His Father, He willingly obeyed.

Christ prayed that the cup, be taken away,
If there were possibly, another way.
But if not, may His Father’s will be done,
Obedience would come, from God’s own Son.

He rose from His pray’r, found His friends asleep,
Why sleep ye? rise and pray, from temptation keep.
Then came Judas with a great multitude,
And a kiss to the Lord, he did include.

To the chief priest and scribes, Christ was led away,
Satan won that round, Christ had been betray’d.
From afar off, Peter did follow Him,
Chances of Christ’s release, surely were dim.

Many bare false witnesses, against the Lord,
But none of their witness, was in accord.
I’ll destroy this temple, others did say,
And rebuild it again, within three days.

The high priest and asked Jesus: “What do you say?”
But the Lord answered nothing, on that day.
“Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”
He said “I am,” as He was sorely pressed.

You’ll see the Son of Man, on the right hand of pow’r,
Come in the clouds of Heav’n, you know not the hour.
The high priest then accused Him, of blasphemy,
He was condemn’d to death, the verdict: guilty!

He gave His back, to those who did smite,
They plucked the hair off His cheeks, just for spite.
The people spit on Him, hit Him with their hands,
His Face was marred, more than any man, in the land.

Jesus stumbled up the hill, to Calvary,
So weak from the suffering, and agony.
He took our place, on that dreadful day,
Because He loves us, and God He did obey.

Most ne’er think, of what our Saviour went thru’,
Those who accept His Work, are among the “few”.
Jesus went thru’, great distress and agony,
When you believe, you have life eternally.

Christ’s agony in Gethsemane: Mark 14:27-31. Desertion of Jesus: (Mat.26:31-35; Luke 22:31-38; John 13:36-38). Mark 14:32-42. Agony in the Garden. ( Mat.26:36-46; Luke 22:39-46). Betrayal and Apprehension of Jesus: (Mat. 26:47-56; Mark 14:43-52. Luke 22:47-53; John 18:1-12). Mark 14:53-72. Jesus Arraigned before the Sanhedrim: (Mat.26:57-75; Luke 22:54-71; John 18:13-18, 24-27).

Luke 22:43-44 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. [44] And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (KJV)
Every thing that the Gospel writers say about the state of mind in which our Lord entered into this conflict, proves the enormous nature of the assault upon Him, for the perfect foreknowledge of its terrors were possessed by the meek and lowly Jesus. But Luke brings out three things not mentioned by the Matthew, Mark or John.
1. When Christ was in His agony, there appeared to Him an angel from Heaven, strengthening Him, not to comfort (He would have none of that), but purely to sustain and brace up sinking nature for a yet hotter and fiercer struggle.
2. Being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Prayer, though never out of season, is especially helpful when we are in pain and agony.
3. In this agony His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down. This showed the struggle of His soul.
Some say it is impossible to sweat blood. That is not true. It is possible under circumstances of extreme suffering or stress. “Hematidrosis” is the medical term. Our Lord Jesus WAS under extreme stress and spiritual suffering of His soul.
The fearful effects in the Garden of Gethsemane, was to ransom sinners for whom the Redeemer prayed, agonized, and bled . . . ending with the torture of crucifixion. Have you thanked Him? If not, why not???

ALL FOR THE LIKES OF ME . . . June 1999 Message & Feb.2013 Message

You left Heaven’s most splendid glory,
And came to Earth, for the likes of me.
You gave up comfort, for grief and pain,
That sinful me, might have eternal gain.

You left the beauty of Heaven above,
And came to man’s evil, all in love.
Tremendous sorrow and agony,
You did go thru’, for the likes of me.

You left Heaven, as great God and King,
And came to Earth, with simply nothing.
You became a humble Servant here,
For the likes of me, that I might not fear.

You left all of the Heavenly hosts,
Came to the sin, of the earthly coasts.
You left the praise and glory above,
And came down to the likes of me, in love.

You left it all; and here had no home,
Left riches; and in poverty, did roam.
Was not accepted, or recognized,
For the likes of me; ‘tis hard to surmise.

Wonderful Jesus, Saviour and Lord,
Died on the Cross, as told in your Word.
All done in great love, given so free,
To take sin away, from the likes of me.

ALL LOST SOULS

I dread the destiny of lost souls,
All whose names are not on Heaven’s roll.
They’ll ALL stand before the ‘Great White Throne’,
For they did not accept God’s ‘Way’ to atone.

Payday will come, for one and for all,
For they refused Christ when He did call.
God’s ‘Books’ will be opened on that ‘Day’,
Not one will be able to run away!

Your turn will come; you can count on it!
And the ‘Righteous Judge’ will not acquit.
He will judge all your sin righteously,
You’re condemned to Hell, for eternity.

The ‘Righteous Judge’, our Saviour and Lord,
Will ask why you turned from His Word.
The greatest sin of ALL these ones,
Is unbelief, and rejecting God’s Son.

I hate to think of the ‘Judgment Day’,
And all lost souls who would not obey.
Ev’ry one of them is doomed to Hell,
In agony and remorse, they will dwell.

O’, please dear friend, as you read these words,
I pray you have trusted Christ as Lord.
He’s the ONLY ‘ONE’ who can save you,
Believe and accept; He will rescue!

ALL STORMS PASS

The thunder roars, and the winds are fierce,
Such a storm; it seems my soul to pierce.
Lightening flashes, flood waters roll,
On my tired body, the storm takes its toll.

The sun rises with the break of day,
The terrible storm, has passed away.
On the freshened grass, sunbeams are cast,
The horrid storm is completely past.

Many great storms, may come in our life,
Bringing much turmoil, sorrow and strife.
But, as a storm, our troubles shall flee,
All storms in life pass, you must agree.

Does One comfort when a storm comes your way?
Can you feel the Presence He displays?
Do you have joy in the midst of pain?
Can you be free from worry and strain?

When a bad storm, in life has arrived,
Your strength and wisdom can be revived.
Take your troubles, to the Lord in prayer,
He’s willing to help, and always there.

Jesus can help those storms pass away,
His comfort and strength makes a brighter day.
While troubles linger so close to you,
Turn to Christ Jesus to see you thru’.

No matter the storm, they all will pass,
Don’t allow doubt and worry to amass.
Jesus can take all your fears away,
All storms pass; follow’d by a brighter day.

ALL TOO OFTEN . . . Jan.2010

Wisdom in decisions, is what I ask,
For oft I encounter, difficult tasks.’
All too often, I choose the wrong paths,
Bringing down upon me, your righteous wrath.

Love in my heart, when I face enemies,
For I must consider, eternity.
All too often, when I am hurt, I hate,
This my Lord Jesus, does not appreciate.

Patience in my life, sometimes I do lack,
I ask Lord, that I stay on the right track.
Quick temper, not thinking before I speak,
Let me be like Jesus, patient and meek.

All too often, I think and do wrong things,
Leading me away, from the Lord’s blessings.
The devil steps in, and tempts me to stray,
Oh! Lord, please keep me on the narrow way.

Oft I consider, pleasures of the world,
As Satan tempts me, wit riches unfurl’d.
I clearly do need You Lord, by my side,
If I in Heav’n, e’er want to reside.

I claim Your Promise, that You won’t forsake,
For when You are near, less errors I make.
Give me wisdom Lord, to walk in Your Light,
For the devil can’t stand, Your path so bright.

ALL THE GLORY I NEED

Knowing Christ is all the glory I need,
Praise off’red us, we should not pay heed.
To our God belongs ALL praise and glory,
For He has given life eternally!

Accepting glory that is due our Lord,
Is simply something we can’t afford.
‘Twill be all the reward we’ll e’er receive,
Too, the Holy Spirit, we sorely grieve!

We don’t want to be as a Pharisee,
Taking as ours, God’s praise and glory.
Being “in Christ’ is all the glory I need,
Pride and conceit should die, and be buried.

All the glory I need each single day,
Is my Saviour, as Him I portray.
I must live each moment as He would live,
And forgiveness and love, I too must give.

Christ Jesus is all the glory I need,
All honor and glory is His indeed!
I’ll be content with life eternally,
In Heav’n with Christ, and His glory!

ALMOST

Much knowledge of doctrine some people possess,
When the church doors open, they do access.
No church can save you, no matter its might,
They are almost a Christian, but not quite!

Some people are morally good and kind,
Lust, pride, or anger rarely enters their mind.
They do good to others, they love not hate,
They’re almost a Christian, but won’t reach the gate!

Some folks are known to the ends of the Earth,
They have fame and pow’r, and are of much worth.
Some have a truly good reputation,
They’re almost a Christian, but in truth, not one!

Some have public and private devotions,
With music, chanting and meditations.
They worship and they serve God frequently,
They’re almost a Christian, yet no victory!

Many are “not far” from the kingdom of God,
But without Jesus, they are simply frauds.
“Not far from” is not “in” Christ plainly states,
You must have Jesus to reach Heaven’s gates!

“Not far from” is a hopeful condition,
Accept God’s Son, and receive salvation!
You can be a Christian this very day,
But friend, Christ Jesus is the ONLY WAY!

ALWAYS AND ONLY

Always and only, His will we should do,
Yet as naughty children, we are not true.
We follow paths, He wants us not to take,
Then too, wrong decisions, we always make.

His will in our life, always and only,
Trust Him always; you’ll have less agony.
He knows what is best for one and for all,
And He’ll be there, if we stumble and fall.

Always and only; His will should come first,
Lack of trust, may bring sorrows to be nurs’d.
Have faith in His wisdom and His power,
Our God’s will is best, no matter the hour.

Do you ever think you can do it yourself?
Then end up in a mess, without His help?
If it’s not His will, troubles dominate,
All done to His glory, will not frustrate.

His will we should do, only and always,
He’ll then shower with blessings, all our days.
Doing the will of God from the heart,
As servants of Christ, that we ne’er depart.

Teach me to do thy will, always, only,
For thou art my God, please grant me mercy.
As on this Earth we walk, God we should please,
Not as pleasing men; but God to appease.

ALWAYS AND ONLY

Lord, what e’er You want for me, is fine,
Always Your will be done, never mine.
Wisdom I possess, is nothing at all,
That’s why each day, on You I will call.

Always and only, Your will for me,
In accepting this, I have victory.
Life without Your guidance, is not wise,
I must not listen, to Satan’s lies.

In this wicked world, troubles arrive,
Without You near, I couldn’t survive.
Your will for me Lord, only and always,
Show me what You want, for me each day.

Teach me and guide me, each day anew,
For I know Your strength, will see me thru’.
Your will be done Lord, this is my pray’r,
For I’m sure Your Presence, is always there.

The Father’s will, Lord, You did accept,
I’d be a fool, if His will I’d reject.
Always and only, Your will for me,
As I walk with You, thru’ eternity.

ALWAYS THANK HIM

If you’re a Christian, you must thank God,
Red, yellow, black, or white; where e’er you trod.
Be grateful to God, He gave His own Son,
Once you believe this, life’s just begun.

Speak of His righteousness, all day long,
Thank and praise Him, in prayer and song.
What a wonderful God, there above,
He’s mercy, compassion, and such love.

His promise is, He’ll always be there,
He’s loving and caring, and so fair.
Great promises in His Word He’s made,
We should not be sorrowful, nor afraid.

Thank Him for fam’ly, friends, and your home,
Always be grateful, where e’er you roam.
The food you eat, the clothes that you wear,
Come just from God, He truly does care.

Be thankful for the peace in your heart,
That internal peace, that won’t depart.
And joy that comes from knowing our fate,
One day we’ll meet Him at Heav’n’s front gate!

What a wondrous God we have above,
It’s only right, we show’r Him with love.
For that’s what He’s done, for me and you,
Always thank Him, and always be true.

Give to God the sacrifice of praise,
Thank and praise Him the rest of our days.
No matter who you are or where you’re from,
Always thank Him, ‘til He calls you Home!

AM I WORTHY?? . . . July 2011 Message

Am I not as good, as the one next to me?
Am I not worthy, of life eternally?
Does not the good, far outweigh the bad I do?
Would God send me to Hell? could this be true?

People have many questions, of ev’ry kind,
Questions that provoke, the thoughts of their mind.
God is love they say, He’s not a God of wrath,
So they keep right on, that big, broad, worldly path.

Most folks don’t consider, what God has to say,
They think they know best, as they hurry on their way.
By grace are ye saved thru’ faith, ‘tis a gift of God,
Not by works we do, for that would make us proud.

We must ne’er judge ourselves, with another,
For God alone judges us, with Christ our Brother!
There is NO salvation, in any other name,
Without belief in Christ, your sin is dreadful shame.

The wages of our sin, is eternal Hell,
Without Christ, that horrid place, is where you shall dwell.
Just belief in Christ, gives eternal life in Heav’n,
The Gift of eternal life, just by God is giv’n.

NO one is worthy, of God’s eternal Home,
We must follow Christ, as in this life we roam.
Righteousness we have, comes for Christ, Him alone,
His Sacrifice on the cross, did atone.

AMAZING BUT TRUE

‘Tis amazing, but it is so true,
Our Creator God, loves me and you!
He sent His Son to die for our sins,
When we believe, eternal life begins!

‘Tis amazing, but it is so true,
When we believe, God forgives me and you!
God will condemn those who won’t believe,
Rejection of Christ, means Hell you receive.

‘Tis amazing, but it is so true,
We’ll be accountable, me and you!
A dreadful sin to God, is unbelief,
Rejection of Christ gives eternal grief.

‘Tis amazing, but it is so true,
Belief makes us God’s friends, me and you.
He will make us His child, and His heir,
And the joy of Heav’n, we’ll all share.

‘Tis amazing, but it is so true,
Reserv’d mansions await me and you!
When to Christ, we open our heart’s door,
Abundant blessings from Him will pour!

‘Tis amazing, but it is so true,
God truly does love both me and you!
Everlasting glory waits above,
When we accept God’s amazing love!

AMAZING GRACE

Amazing grace, set my burden’d soul free,
It granted me peace and serenity.
Almighty God revealed His awesomeness,
His children He does abundantly bless.

His amazing grace we do not deserve,
Yet in our ev’ry trial, God does observe.
His divine love and mercy does o’er flow,
‘Tis a privilege this awesome God to know.

What a joy to feel His amazing grace,
Now only slightly, but one day Face to face.
We’ll live in His majestic Home on high,
All who love and obey God, shall never die.

God’s amazing grace to us always flows,
He truly wants us His character to know.
He reveals Himself as we draw e’er so near,
As we fellowship with Him in reverent fear.

God’s amazing grace gives comfort and pow’r,
Ev’n in our most dreaded and woeful hour.
For Your encouragement, this child thanks You,
I thank You for Your exalted love so true.

‘Tis Your amazing grace that forgives me,
And that same grace gives me life eternally.
I thank You Lord, I praise Your Holy Name,
‘Tis by faith, Your amazing grace I claim.

(KJV)

AMAZING PEACE

The wonderful peace Your Presence brings,
Is truly, an amazing blessing!
As a gentle river, flooding my soul,
Peace came in, when I gave Christ control!

Amazing peace, way deep down inside,
When I allowed You, to be my Guide!
No turmoil nor strife, does my heart know,
Since the blessing of peace, You did bestow!

Amazing peace, You did give to me,
You set my heart and soul so free!
When I turned my all, over to You,
My whole life took on a diff’rent view!

Your Presence within, gives wondrous peace,
From sin’s bondage, my soul found release!
Such amazing peace, that’s here to stay,
What a blessing, an awesome display!

Amazing peace, as a river flowing,
Peace as a breeze, on a hot day blowing!
Thank You Lord, for this awesome blessing,
Peace from You dear Lord, so amazing!

This amazing peace, comes from You alone,
Without You Lord, it cannot be known!
This peace is mine, for eternity,
Only You, dear Jesus, hold the key!

AN AWESOME FEELING . . . Aug. 2001 Message

Such a fantastic peace floods my soul,
No sadness this hour, will take its toll.
Such a close bond, I feel with my King,
Ne’er have I had a better blessing!

Closeness between God, and me alone,
Such a great feeling I’ve never known.
Ne’er has joy like this been in my heart,
I pray this feeling will ne’er depart.

Tremendous joy this closeness provides,
For I feel Your Presence, in me abide!
I truly love this closeness with You,
I wish it would come, each day anew.

This feeling comes from Your wondrous grace,
Sin’s burden, far away You have chased.
This awesome feeling, makes me glow,
A blessing indeed, this closeness to know!

Inexpressible closeness that I feel,
Seems that my whole heart and soul it heals!
For this awesome closeness, I thank You,
I know it comes from Your love so true.

I know this closeness, infrequently,
But soon I’ll know it, eternally!
My sin that blocks, ‘twill be no more,
For I’ll ne’er sin again, on Heav’n’s shore!

AN AWESOME PLACE

The Cross of Christ was a place of shame,
But for that purpose, our Saviour came.
That Cross was a place of self-sacrifice,
And the work He accomplished did suffice.

The Cross was a place of God’s mercy,
God sent His Son, to die, for you and me.
That Cross was a place of pow’r, complete,
The sins of us all, it can delete.

The Cross is a place of atonement,
Jesus’ Blood, alone, is sufficient.
That Cross is where Christ did intercede,
My friend, Christ Jesus is all we need.

The Cross is a place of great promise,
Giving us the hope of Heaven’s bliss.
That Cross is a place of justice sure,
Righteousness promised by Christ so pure.

The Cross of Christ is where we must go,
To avoid the verdict of Hell below.
Kneel at His Cross, Christ will cleanse your soul,
And will grant you Heaven as your goal.

A privilege we have, for God truly cares.
Our Father loves us, in a special way,
And He loves us always, now and each new day.

AN EXTRAORDINARY BLESSING

It is an extraordinary blessing
To have on your side the Almighty King!
Things always go better when He is near,
He gives such comfort and removes all fear!

Christ is a Blessing, extraordinary,
A Gift from the Father, absolutely free!
A Blessing that never leaves nor forsakes,
A Blessing that most, for granted take!

Christ is an extraordinary Blessing,
We are honored to have Him as our King!
A blessing that He is our greatest Friend,
He’ll give pow’r and guidance ‘til this life ends!

Jesus blesses us, extraordinarily,
His Presence within is a mystery!
Incredible and awesomely amazing,
This Blessing comes, simply by believing!

An extraordinary Blessing to us, is He,
And just He can grant life eternally!
Only He can lead us to Heav’n above,
And He does it with such tremendous love!

An extraordinary blessing is His grace,
For only He all our sins can erase!
The Father has placed all pow’r in His Hands,
Just He is Lord and Saviour of all lands.

Do you know Christ as your Saviour today?
If you don’t, open your heart’s door, I pray.
He waits outside ever so patiently,
Open to Him, for just He has Heav’n’s key!

An Open Door

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. (KJV)

An open door stands, wide open to you,
Will your faith allow you, to walk thru’?
Or will you turn away, because of fear?
When to the Promised Land, you are so near?

Fear or faith, which will it be for you?
Will you back away, or walk boldly thru’?
The Promised Land, is on the other side,
Where we can in peace and comfort, abide.

Your enemies, God shall expel from your sight,
When we trust God in faith, He makes things right.
The Promised Land, God says we can possess,
If thru’ that open door, we do access.

That we love the Lord God, we must take heed;
Trusting Him in faith, is our greatest deed.
Backing away in fear, taking the wrong path,
Does sadden His Heart, and brings on His wrath,

Going thru’ that open door, brings good things,
God opens His warehouse, of grand blessings.
To turn and run away, is a bad mistake,
Fear causes you, the Lord God to forsake.

Eyes of faith, eyes of fear, which will it be?
Have you e’er considered, eternity?
Faith in God brings you, to the Promised Land,
Fear brings only Hell, God’s reprimand.

An Open Road

Before each of us, is an open road,
As we journey to, our eternal abode.
Sometimes the road is straight, with light to see,
Other times it’s so dark, with misery.

Some time our road leads, to a mount, so high,
It is foolish, on our strength to rely.
The rougher the road, the more help we need,
‘Tis wise if we would follow, where He leads.

Rocky ledges, so slippery and steep,
On the ridge of a canyon, wide and deep.
Many times we don’t know, which way to go,
Choosing the wrong one, could cause great sorrow.

‘Tis pleasant when our road, is smooth and straight,
But far too often, that is not our fate.
At times raging rivers, we’ll have to cross,
Not accepting Christ’s help, would be great loss.

We know not, what the road ahead might bring,
It may be sadness, or we may want to sing.
That road is important, to you and me,
Consider: it leads to eternity!

Each of us journey, on an open road,
As we travel, to our eternal abode.
Are you traveling with Jesus, in His light?
Or are you on Satan’s road, dark as night?

The narrow road leads, to Heaven’s glory,
Where we will then have, life eternally.
Keep off the broad road, that leads just to Hell,
For there for e’er, with Satan you shall dwell.

ANOTHER NEW YEAR

As you stand at the doorway of the new year,
Do you have any doubts ‘bout Him? any fear?
Words of great comfort can come from the Lord,
Just open the Bible, and look in His Word!

God will speak to us, give comfort and strength,
And love and forgiveness, at such great lengths.
God is faithful, trustworthy, gentle, strong,
Trying His best to keep His children from wrong.

The new year looms ‘fore us; what will it bring?
Just God knows, we must trust in all things.
If we look to Him, joy and peace will abide,
Just trust Him in all things, in Him confide!

If you don’t know Christ, you can start the year right,
Turn from your path of sin, all can be bright.
Christ really loves you, wants your soul to claim,
Accept Him today, believe on His Name!

APOSTLE PAUL, THE

Long ago, ‘twas a man called Saul,
He persecuted Christ, with his all.
Near Damascus, where he would arrest
Those of ‘This Way’; he had a great test!

A great light from Heaven blinded him,
He fell to the Earth; things were so grim.
“Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”
Saul knew ‘twas Christ, in his agony.

From that day on, Paul made a ‘U’ turn,
Took a stand for Christ; this he did learn.
‘Twas beaten in stripes above measure,
Christ was his only hope and pleasure.

In prison more frequent, in deaths oft’,
Living for Jesus was hard, not soft!
Jews, five times gave him thirty nine stripes,
Stoned once, and beaten with rods thrice.

‘Twas thrice in a shipwreck, in the deep,
So weary, often he could not sleep.
Hunger, thirst, fasting, naked and cold,
Surviving it all, for Christ he’d behold.

Perils of water, robbers and Jews,
But nothing changed his Christian views.
Perils in the city and wilderness,
But words of Christ, he would not repress.

As Christians, how do we fare today?
Are we strong like Paul, and Christ obey?
Do we live the life Christ wants us to?
Or are we ashamed? me and you?

ARE YOU A BACKSLIDER? . . . Jan. 2011 Message

Has prayer in your life come to a halt?
Do you blame God for things, say it’s His fault?
When over your life you do so reflect,
Do you find you no longer, God respect?

Have you stopped studying God’s good Word?
Are you smug with what you know of our Lord?
Do you make excuses, from church to stop?
Fellowship with others, we shouldn’t drop.

Have you stopped applying His Word to life?
Is recreation and pleasure with you rife?
Do you mouth hymns and Scripture without heart?
Do earthly ‘things’ make you from God depart?

Can you watch the filth on movies and TV?
Or read dirty books, you shouldn’t ev’n see?
Some just wouldn’t miss their favorite show,
But the weakest excuse, and church they’ll not go.

Are you content with lack of His power?
With His help, you wouldn’t have to cower.
Has your heart gotten so cold and hard?
That tears for the lost, you need not retard?

Do you go along with the world’s lifestyle?
Compromising your morals, the whole while?
The backslider is full of his own ways,
Is this what you want, the rest of your days?

A backslider is unfaithful to God,
Turned aside from his way, as he does trod.
If this describes you, turn back to His way,
Don’t wander from Him, even one more day!

Are you aware of God’s righteousness?
Our Lord will NEVER break a promise.
When He judges, it is always true,
Whether we’re right OR wrong, me and you.

Are you aware of God’s holiness?
He cannot lie; He’s pure and sinless.
Fear Him; glorify God, so holy,
Our God is holy eternally.

Are you aware of our Lord’s goodness?
He is good, wanting just to bless.
The Earth is full of the goodness of God,
Where e’er you may be, where e’er you trod.

Are you aware of the power of God?
He made the universe, wide and broad.
All the world’s controls are in His Hand,
He makes all the calls, thru’ out the land.

Are you aware of His wondrous grace?
His merciful love, we oft’ debase.
He grants to sinners eternal life,
Far from Hell’s dark agony, so rife.

Please be aware of God’s endless love,

ARE YOU BEAUTIFUL?

As a jewel of gold in a pig’s snout,
‘Tis beauty, less discretion, round about.
Favor is deceitful; beauty vain,
But those who fear God, have much to gain.

Outward beauty is a fading flower,
Here today, gone with tomorrow’s hour.
God does hate your vanity and pride,
I do suggest you set them aside.

God desires from you, beauty down deep,
He just wants you to be one of His sheep.
With ‘life’ He will beautify the meek,
ETERNAL LIFE; if only Him you’ll seek.

From us, God wants spiritual beauty,
Beauty of the heart, for eternity.
A meek, quiet spirit, one which loves,
Is of great price to God, who lives above.

The Lord takes pleasure in all His own,
If you are His, your path will be shown.
Worry only of your beauty within,
Live life for Jesus, away from sin.

God’s enemy, you don’t want to be,
For dark Hell will be your destiny.

You’ll ‘overcome’; no longer sin’s slave.

Save you from Hell, and God will not shun.
You’ll spend eternity in Heav’n above,
Thanks be to God, and His endless love.

What a marvelous place Heav’n must be,
And YOU can live there, for eternity.

Accept His Son Jesus; He paid the fare.

Many in the past have felt Your Hand,
And You’ve blessed their efforts, thru’ out the land.
For when You called, they did not turn away,
They willingly loved, trusted and obeyed.

Many invitations, You do send,
It’s so sad that most, You do offend.
But the few who accept are privileg’d indeed,
For Your awesome touch, they did heed.

So very privileg’d and special al I,

But praise God, His Son gives vict’ry.

I’m privileg’d to be one of the few,

Are you ready for the coming of the Lord?
Are you really grounded in His living Word?
He’s able to keep what you commit to Him,
Not like all the cults, that follow ev’ry whim.

Do you know for certain that you are saved?
Or, do you follow Satan, and are depraved?
Will you be ready on that day He does come?
Or will you continue, away from Him to roam?

Are you grounded in the power of your faith?
Are you ready for that fateful day of death?
Our time here on Earth is so very short,
Are you letting Satan Heav’nly life abort?

Time is uncertain; like vapour in the air,
We’re here a while; then gone: do you know where?
Do you know the ‘place’ where forever you’ll dwell?
Let me ask you this: is it Heaven, or Hell?

Are you ready to meet the Almighty God?
All will stand before Him, the world abroad.
God has made ‘a’ plan to save your very soul,
Accept His plan, Jesus; you’re on Heaven’s roll!

Change your destination, if you’re on the wrong path,
Just trust in Jesus, will keep you from God’s wrath.
Believe God; trust Jesus; let Him take control,
And you will be ready, when He comes for your soul.

ARE YOU WISE OR FOOLISH?

A wise man will hear, and increase learning,
The need to know God, is a constant yearning.
“But fools despise wisdom and instruction,”
Sad to say, they’re headed for destruction.

“Rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee,”
From the wrong he does, he wants to flee.
“Fools will despise the wisdom of thy words,”
So answer not, lest ye be in accord.

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise,”
All that he learneth, he shall not despise.
“A companion of fools shall be destroyed,”
Where they’re headed, they won’t be o’er joyed.

“The law of the wise is a fountain of life,”
In the coming life, there shall be no strife.
God says: “The thought of foolishness is sin,”
Just with Christ, does eternal life begin!

He says: “A fool uttereth all his mind,”
One who ‘knows it all’, do you know the kind?
It is the will of God, always has been,
The wise put to silence those foolish men.

God states: “The wise man’s eyes are in his head,”
Night is nothing for them ever to dread.
“But the fool always walketh in darkness,”
He’s simply blind, and the Lord, he won’t confess.

Who are wise? and fools? in the eyes of the Lord?
You can find the answer in His good Word.
Are you wise; one who buildeth on the “Rock”?
Or a fool; who’ll never be in God’s flock?

To turn your back, on the King of kings,
Is absolutely, a horrid thing!

God the Father, made only ONE Plan,
Long, long ago, to save sinful man!
That Plan, is God’s only begotten Son,
To believe this, salvation’s begun!

You cannot call Holy God, a “Liar”,
That will lead you, to the lake of fire!
Not believing God, is a deadly sin,
Enemies of God, Heaven will NOT win!

Why do so many, have so much fear,
To speak of Jesus, and hold Him near?
To be ashamed of Him, is SO wrong,
It simply puts you, in Satan’s throng!

Ashamed of Christ?? You’re on the broad road,
And that leads only, to Hell’s abode!
At the Great White Throne, the Judge shall say,
To the Lake of Fire, you will go this day!

Jesus loves you, loves you SO much friend,
Wants eternity, with you to spend!
He lives in Heaven, do you there want to go?
Or will your home be, Hell’s horrid sorrow?

Do not be ashamed, of Jesus the Lord!
Proudly tell others, of Him and His Word!
Not believing God, leads to God’s wrath,
And that is, a most treacherous path!

What profit is it, the whole world to gain?
And the depths of Hell instead, you attain?
Everlasting destruction, you want not,
Accept Christ, and the heavenly home, for you He bought!

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (KJV)
Matthew 16:24-27 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27  For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (KJV)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(KJV)
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV)
John 3:15-18 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV)
John 15:18-19 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.(KJV)
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
2 Thes.1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV)

AS I JOURNEY

As I journey, thru’ this world of sin,
Jesus gives me vict’ry, I know I’ll win.
He paid the price, He redeemed my soul,
But of my life, I must give Him control.

As I journey, I see such wickedness,
There’s so much evil, and so much stress.
Ev’n those who say “Christ is my Lord,”
Turn day by day, farther from His Word.

As I journey, I see apostasy
As we speed onward, to eternity.
They rebel against God, they transgress,
Then from God, they expect blessedness.

As I journey onward, day by day,
I get closer, to my Home far away.
I feel in my heart, sadness so great,
For O so many, the Lord Jesus do hate.

As I journey, I know Earth’s not my home,
I know one day, I’ll no longer roam.
I’m headed for that City so high,
And then for e’er, my Lord I’ll glorify.

As I journey, close to Christ I walk,
And I have peace, when He and I talk.
He’s guiding me, to my mansion above,
Where for e’er I’ll know, His amazing love.

AS I LOOK BACK . . . about me

As I look back, when I was very small,
Almost before, I could even recall.
I could feel His presence, ever so near,
There was no need for me, ever to fear.

I did not know this, at that very time,
I was just a child, and all seemed fine.
I didn’t know then, that I needed God,
So on my small, little path, I did trod.

When I now look back, on my early days,
I can see Him working, in many ways.
He’d chosen me, ‘fore He’d made the Earth,
Not for what I’d done, or how much my worth.

When one would curse Jews, I knew it was wrong,
Even at that young age, God made me strong.
He always watched, as I spent my time,
I know all that now, and O’ it was fine!

‘Twas riding my sled, one cold winter day,
He was there as always, and was my stay.
I went in a well; and ‘fore I could shout,
He had someone there, and she pulled me out.

He’d chosen me, before He’d made a thing,
This marvelous mystery, makes me sing.
He calls so many, but chooses so few,
‘Cause they just won’t do, what He wants them to.

Do you know just what, He wants you to do?
If you don’t know Christ; He’s waiting for you.
Just believe what He says, trust Him today,
Jesus will save you; and be with you always!

AS I REMINISCE . . . about me

As I reminisce o’er my childhood years,
I recall happiness, and few tears.
Far from cities, in the country side,
Up in the hills, I took all in stride.

Kerosene lamps, were our light at night,
As for me, it seemed quite all right.
A homey coal stove, on which to cook,
Cold evenings I’d curl close, with a book.

Inside the house, no running water,
We did not have, electric power.
No air conditioner, that’s for sure,
Yet thru’ all of this, we did endure.

We had just four large rooms, but no bath,
When nature called, we’d follow the path.
The outhouse stood, not too far away,
Sears catalog, I’d look thru’ each day.

I’d bathe in an old, galvanized tub,
Using home made lye soap, as I’d rub.
Summer’s sun would heat, the water nice,
In winter the coal stove, did suffice.

I loved these times, in days gone by,
This generation, would simply die.
A tremendous change, ‘tween then and now,
I would go back, if I could somehow.

Happiness for most, seems to fly away,
They always want more, on each giv’n day.
We should be content, with what we get,
And we should learn, to not ever fret.

AS I WATCH

I watch in hope, ev’ry single day,
Be it stormy or calm, come what may.
One day I shall see His shining face,
As He calls me to the clouds in space.

As I watch for Jesus quietly,
I know He will come, to summon me.
So I must live a life true and right,
I must turn from sin, and walk in His light.

I’ll watch for Jesus, for He’ll come soon,
It could night, morning; maybe noon.
As I watch, I must trust and obey,
For my Saviour could come, any day!

I must love God, and my brethren too,
For He chose me to be, one of the “few”.
When He comes in the clouds, and calls my name,
I want to be ready, and have no shame.

‘AS THE MOON’

We are ‘as the moon’, so far away,
With no light of our own, night or day.
The sun’s brightness the moon does reflect,
Just thru’ the sun’s light, is it perfect.

We are ‘as the moon’ in regard to light,
Without a source, we’re both dark as night.
The moon lights up the night’s vast darkness,
With the sun’s light, that it does possess.

We are ‘as the moon’ in daily life,
On our own, we’re dark, and have much strife,
But when we reflect our Saviour’s ‘Light’,
We can see the correct path, and all is right!

‘As the moon’, on its own, we’re darkness,
Without Jesus’ ‘Light’, God will not bless.
We must reflect Christ’s glorious ‘Light’,
Living a life that’s pure, holy, and right.

AS THE WIND

Colorful leaves it twirls in the air,
They flutter about, both here and there.
In any direction, it can blow,
But we can’t see it come, neither go!

It leans heavily on grass and trees,
Movement from it, is all that we see!
Great pow’r it has, making humans fear,
It roars in the storms, as it comes near!

As the wind, is the Spirit of God,
Present everywhere, this world abroad.
We can never detour, nor control,
When the Holy Spirit has a goal!

His works, as the wind, we can’t understand,
And of both, God has complete command!
God’s Spirit can touch the sinful soul,
Making the most wicked person whole!

Christ’s Spirit can touch your heart today,
Be receptive to Him, don’t turn away!
God’s Spirit, as the wind, is wondrous,
And we, thru’ Him, are victorious!

AS THRU’ LIFE WE GO

Thru’ life we go, with its rivers to cross,
Life, with its seas, raging and tempest toss’d.
We can expect hardships, trouble and woe,
But there’s One who walks with us, as we go.

Thru’ this life we will find, roads rough and steep,
With great high mountains, and canyons so deep.
Thru’ this life we may find treacherous trails,
But with Christ as our Guide, we will not fail.

Thru’ this life we will encounter, enemies,
Speaking great lies, and profanities.
Thru’ life, problems come, as we travel on,
Remember help is there, in God’s own Son.

Thru’ this life we will have sorrow and pain,
Ev’n loved ones may look on us with disdain.
Many tragic things could cause fear and strife,
Take it to Jesus, as we walk thru’ this life.

We are not exempt from tribulation,
When we turn to Jesus, for salvation.
We will have wondrous blessings, ‘tis so true,
But life will still bring troubles, to me and you.

The Father will bless us as thru’ life we go,
Grand and awesome blessings, He does bestow.
Love, joy and peace; and His Presence so near,
He comforts as we walk; this He makes so clear.

As thru’ life we go, we should trust Him always,
God will watch His children, all their days.
No matter our trouble, sorrow or woe,
Christ will be with us as thru’ life we go.

AS YOU SURVEY YOUR LIFE . . . Aug.2011 Message

As you survey your life, what do you see?
Is it constant stress, or serenity?
Consider, does worry always plague you?
Think . . . are your dishonest, or are you true?

Do you gossip and backbite, or say good things?
To others, are you a curse, or blessing?
Does love in your heart, to others o’er flow?
Do those around you, the true you know?

Do you cheat others, with thoughts just of greed?
And feelings of others, you never do heed.
Coveting, will bring God’s wrath down on you,
Love of money is simply the wrong view.

Do you deceive others with trickery?
Do monstrous lies, flow from your lips so free?
The deep hurt you inflict, could last for years,
Causing your victim stress, to the point of tears.

As you survey your life, what do you see?
Are you on your way to life eternally?
Are you walking on the Lord’s path of light?
Are you living, what God considers right?

If we want God’s heav’nly Home, as our own,
Love to God, and our neighbors, must be shown.
We must have faith, we must trust and obey,
We would surely be wise, to live God’s way!

As you travel this life’s beaten path,
Do you e’er consider God’s holy wrath?
Do you consider this life’s brevity?
Do you meditate on eternity?

As you travel on life’s bumpy road,
Do you ponder blissful Heav’n’s abode?
When you come to any detours ahead,
Do you turn to Christ to relieve your dread?

As you travel life’s difficult terrain,
When you come to a chasm, does your strength wane?
Do you e’er think of a mansion above?
Do you consider our God’s awesome love?

As you travel life’s rugged pathway,
Do you think of His cross along the way?
Do you contemplate just why Jesus died?
He showed His love when He was crucified.

As you travel life’s steep road steadily,
Do you struggle onward so wearily?
In the mid-day’s heat, does coolness evade?
Do you e’er consider the cross’ shade?

As you travel ahead, wearied and worn,
In the shade of His cross, love will adorn.
His abundant comfort will empow’r you,
Consider Jesus and His love so true.

ASKING IS UP TO YOU . . . May 2004 Message

Troubles always come, your soul to try,
But our Saviour is there, standing by!
There is always something, He can do,
My friend, the asking, is up to you!

So many troubles, are all your own,
And so many paths, you must go alone.
The love of Jesus, helps smooth the road,
Your asking always, lightens the load!

In times of trouble, He’s a Friend so true,
He’s waiting; the asking is up to you.
His awesome mercy, thru’ all endures,
This divine friendship, can truly be yours!

When troubles afflict, He’ll see you thru’,
His Presence can mean so much to you.
Go to Jesus, with a heart-felt cry,
For our caring Saviour, is standing by!

Is your heart heavy with sin’s great load?
Do you walk alone, on all wrong roads?
Could you use peace and serenity?
Asking is up to you; do not tarry!

God gives eternal life, but you must ask!
You pay no fee, nor perform any task!
Ask Jesus into your heart today,
Trust and obey Him, ‘tis the only way!

Jesus will come, when you ask Him in,
And a whole new life, for you will begin!
You must open the door, and let Him thru’,
My friend, the asking, is up to you.

At The Feet of Jesus

God hath put all things under Jesus’ Feet,
And my friend, He shall have not one defeat.
He shall crush all the wicked of the Earth,
For to the Father, they are of no worth.

The same way as He left, He shall return,
May all God’s children for this day yearn.
His Feet shall stand on Mt. Olive one day,
And it shall split apart, in grand display.

Christ Jesus’ eyes will be as lamps of fire,
Searching each soul rightly is His desire.
Jesus’ Feet will be like brass so fine,
As He brings justice with judgment divine.

Like many waters, His Voice shall sound,
As He judges all who were in Hades found.
In the Book of Life, your name must be,
Or He’ll cast your soul to Hell’s agony.

A great white throne, is where Jesus shall sit,
And every lost soul, to Him shall submit.
God left nothing that is not put under Him,
Eternity for the wicked, shall be grim.

Let us stay close to Christ, till He appears.
Let us wash His Feet one day with our tears.
Let us kiss His precious Feet in gratitude,
Let us love Him now with a thankful attitude.

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS . . . April 1999 Message

We must start at the foot of the Cross,
For our soul’s in danger, we’re at loss.
And when we kneel in that awesome place,
At that very moment, you’ll feel God’s grace.

Friend, let me tell you; you need to know,
There is Heaven; also Hell below!
Christ died on that Cross, to set you free,
From your vile sins, and Hell’s agony.

You’re God’s enemy, without the Cross,
Reject Christ, and to God, you are dross.
To the prison of Hell, He will send,
Just Christ’s work on the Cross, makes amends.

God hates those who try to enter in
The gates of Heaven, still full of sin.
Only His Son, can take sin away,
Go to the foot of the Cross, this day.

God has provided only ONE Way,
To enter Heaven’s wondrous array.
Accept what Jesus did for us all,
He paid our debt, so Hell won’t befall.

Go to the foot of the Cross this day,
His precious Blood washes sin away.
We each need to think more of His Cross,
Without our Saviour, we’re total loss.

At The Judgment

Reincarnation believers, a sad fate,
For them, at the Judgment, great terror awaits!
Their after-life is eternal damnation,
For all who believe, in reincarnation.

At the Judgment, Hitler will be in agony,
For he murdered, six million identities.
As names are read, he’ll hear ev’ry single scream,
That took place because of, his unmerciful scheme.

At the Judgment, millions of names shall be read,
For most of which, not a single tear was shed.
All mothers and doctors, the Judge shall expose,
All abortion participants, shall have, eternal woes.

At the Judgment, those who rejected the Lord,
All shall be judged, by God’s perfect Holy Word.
They’ll stand in shock, for they believed heresies,
Neglecting their salvation, for eternity.

Homosexuals who flaunted, their wicked lust,
Wishing God’s children, would go back to the dust.
Lesbians with such hatred of Christ, in their heart,
Shall hear Judge Jesus say: “From Me, depart.”

Atheistic teachers, full of apostasy,
Lying politicians, removing prayer from society.
Movie and TV actors, spouting blasphemies,
The Judge will hear none, of their desperate pleas.

Do you yearn for the day, when the Lord shall appear?
Are you ready, or does your heart have great fear?
God’s enemies must become, your enemies,
At the Judgment, you’ll be judged, for eternity.

AT THE MERCY OF AN ENEMY

You’re at the mercy of an Enemy,
As you travel the road of life, carefree!
You’re living in sin and wickedness,
In a life of tension and great stress.

God is your Enemy; this is true!
For Jesus’ Blood, does not cover you!
You must turn to Christ, this very day,
You must trust and believe, all God says!

You’re at the mercy of an Enemy,
Because of your sin and iniquity.
Trust and accept Christ; don’t reject,
For only He, your soul can protect!

You have an Enemy, in God above,
If you don’t accept, His Gift of love!
If you reject Christ, you reject God too,
You’re at God’s mercy, so plain and true!

Rejecting Christ, makes you God’s enemy,
You’ll never have, eternal victory!
Only Christ Jesus can save your soul,
For God gave Him pow’r, and all control!

You’re at the mercy of God’s awesome grace,
As in this life, you try to keep pace.
Christ brings forgiveness, and makes amends,
Giving peace with God, and making Him Friend!

Do you want God as an Enemy?
He can send you to Hell, eternally!
Accept His mercy, that comes in His Son,
Salvation can only, in Christ, be won!

AT TIMES

At times, I know most don’t agree with me,
When this happens, I feel e’er so lonely.
When I take a stand for what I think is right,
It seems I stand alone, in my Saviour’s sight.

I’ll stand firm, with what I think is Christ’s will,
I must attempt, His desire to fulfill.
At times this narrow road gets quite lonely,
But I must carry out Christ’s plan for me.

Elijah thought too, he was all alone,
This same feeling, to me is well known.
At times it’s lonely on the road so narrow,
But Christ did not promise a life free from sorrow.

There are things Christ won’t permit me to do,
If I want to follow Him, and be true.
What most think is right, Christ tells me is wrong,
His Spirit’s conviction, is e’er so strong.

How can I do things, when my Lord says “No,”
To go against Christ, great sorrow I’d know.
Some things that most folks think is right to do,
Christ’s Spirit, won’t allow me to pursue.

AWESOME AND AMAZING . . . Feb.2011 Message

Awesome and amazing, is what You are,
Surpassing all others, from afar.
You chase away all my doubts and fears,
‘Tis glorious to have Your Presence near.

Wondrously good, You are to me,
Tho’ I’m a sinner and so unworthy.
You reach out to me, with comforting arms,
You relieve all my heart’s grief and alarm.

Great mercy and compassion, flows from You,
You abundantly pardon, sins I do.
Such lavish love, You do send my way,
Deep, wide, endless love; You show me always.

My precious Saviour, who on the cross died,
Willingly for me, He was crucified.
No greater love can anyone show,
Such tremendous love, on me He bestows.

My Lord, You are awesome and amazing,
Daily You bestow abundant blessings.
Just You are capable of love so true,
Both here on Earth, and in Heaven too.
